ohhh i'm so angry at the l2d tutorial that said "the more points your mesh has the better! :)" because not only is that Not True, but it just adds so fucking much unnecessary bulk lmao.
#my poor little shit brick can't handle all those points.#it doesn't MATTER because you use WARP DEFORMERS for EVERYTHING and the Warp Deformers Dont CARE about the meshes!!!!!#the warp deformers barely affect the meshes themselves!!!!! the meshes are just fucking. frames to put the art in.#the warp deformers use Their OWN meshes.#horrible horrible misinformation. i have so fucking much re-meshing to do. and so many parameters to fix.#especially awful for me. a man who has every single information processing issue.#if the blinking and the eye light wiggles weren't so good i would just start from scratch. there are a Few things i can probably salvage.#i'm so fucking irritated. i've wasted so much time dreading this project. only to find out that i've been doing it wrong the entire time.#the only thing saving me from falling into a pit of dispair is the fact that i've been drawing again.

Baby fever yandere shigaraki x chubby fem reader noncon smut
A/n: this took me two days of writing this and it's based on my post and my baby fever, I couldn't help it🥴💦💦 p.s. I know it's bad, leave me alone. AO3
Warnings: scummy shigaraki + choking kink + creampies + body worship + violent + tomura kidnaps reader + breeding + dead dove DO NOT EAT. MINORS/ANTIS/AGELESS DNI !!
Shigaraki never once thought of having children in his life nor caring about relationships, his main goal was to destroy hero society and make it better. He was at the mall casually walking too deep in his thoughts.
Tomura never thought about it until he saw you, he was breathless to the least. Your curvy body, the way you bounce happily coming out of a hot topic with hello kitty merch, very girly items too. He couldn't help but want to kidnap and lock you in his room to fill you up for hours… Then his thoughts start to get more dirtier by the minute, he bites his scarred lips to stop the groans coming out.
He thought about knocking you up and filling his semen inside your womb to imagine if your belly would get bigger.
His body has a mind of its own instead of heading to the gamestop for games, his main goal was to get you alone.
He quietly follows behind you, he almost laughs at how you clearly weren't looking at your surroundings and happily humming heading home.
What? Just because there heros around doesn't mean you're safe.
Once you're heading to a dark alley it was His time to strike quick to his feet, he put his hand around your throat and almost choked you while you're struggling. It turns out you're putting up a fight, the items fell to the trash cover ground.
Tomura had to wrestle with you until he pinned you down on your back with his hand on your throat. Your frightened tearing eyes were turning him on more.
" Wow… you're a pain.. but fuck I love it when they fight back. " Your eyes were dilating fast, he felt your legs trying to kick or thrust your hips up to get him off of you but it was making him grunt out.
" Ooohh I see you're still fighting back. " He chuckled darkly. " Stop struggling more or you will accidentally disintegrate by my quirk. " His pinky wiggled close to your neck as your eyes were practically bulging out and went limp. Mhmm fuck, that hot he thought to himself.
" Heeh good now you're listening.. you gotta be good for me and your life wouldn't be wasted. " He leans in to lick the side of your face up to your ear as he begins nipping it.
He can hear your choked out cries and sob for help.
He can't wait to take you ' home ' and break you down until you're nothing but wanted him and his cock only.
He grabs both of your hands up and finally releases the hold of your neck, costing you to gasp for air and breathing heavily.
" You're coming wit-.. "
He felt a wetness on his cheeks as he realized you spit at him.
" Fuck you-.. " he begins to choked you more as he begin to tsk at you.
" Such a fucking brat… don't worry I'm planning on destroy that attitude of yours. " Your eyes went wide, he's waiting for you to lose consciousness, your eyes blinked fast and you're starting to feel lightheaded.
He chuckled again as your body isn't moving..
You slowly wake up, was it a dream.. you feel comfortable in the soft sheets only to realize this isn't your bed nor your room.
You begin to move only to hear rattle noises, your eyes see both your ankles and wrists in chains.
" Oh good you're awake so we can have some fun. " Chills running down your spine as you see him in the chair with the bright colorful light coming from his computer.
He slowly turns around as you start to cry out, he looks like a sleep paralysis demon that you get from nightmares and this is one of them that turns into reality.
" Please I don't wanna be here I-.. " he begins to get up and walk close to you so close that you see his red eyes stare into your soul.
"Shut up, you talk too much… oh I know." You started to gag out as he shoved three fingers in your throat, you mentally remember his quirk and his deadly hands touching your tongue.
"Aww where that back talk? Struggling to answer that baby." He purrs at you, your head is pulled away roughly as you look into his cold heartless stare.
"You're gonna take what I give you." You watch his smile turn more sinister by the second. " I'll impregnate you, giving you our greatest spawn of life. " Your lip starts to shake in fear.
"You… you can't DO THAT-! I DON'T WANT THIS!!" You scream at him only to laugh at your face.
He proceeds to decay his own clothes off as you keep screaming at him to stop.
Tomura has enough of your screams so he shoved his throbbing manhood into your mouth, you bit his dick only for you to get slapped in the face hard.
Your hiccups sobs were only the thing echoing in the room.
Tomura shoves his length back into your mouth as you begin to suck more and licking the underside of his cock.
"Aww the baby finally got their bottle, are you calm now brat?" Tomura coo at you as if you're an infant.
His narrow hips thrust into your mouth as he starts to get rough and fast, you couldn't fight back or push his hips away from these chains.
He groans loud as he grabs a handful of your hair making you focus down more of his cock.
He quickly pulls away and you pant like a dog in heat.
Shigaraki gets on the bed as you begin to shake uncontrollably so that you know what is coming.
He grabs his hot throbbing dick tap your clit then begins to hotdog your entrance, his cock between your lips as he groans out.
"Please… stop." He chose to ignore your pleas and went fast. You felt his tip almost hit your entrance and finally you gave in.
You look into his lustful eyes as he stares back at you unsettling.
"Please… fuck me." Tomura pauses as he tilts his head to the side.
"What?" You turned away embarrassed but he forcefully grabbed your chin to make you look at him.
"Say it again." Your eyes twitch with anxiety.
"Please fuck me-.." no waring shigaraki slammed his cock inside of you costing you to scream out.
Your cries didn't last long as Tomura began to aggressively make out with you, he slid his slimy tongue inside as your tongues fight for dominance but clearly tomura was stronger than you.
The pain in your lower abdomen gets stronger each time shigaraki slammed his hips to yours.
The squenching rings in your ears and the sound he makes, deep growls and scratchy whines.
You feel hot liquid in your womb to realize he is reaching his orgasm.
His cock twitching as his semen fills you up.
You watch tomura's hand move to your ankles and proceed to decaying the metal chain, your legs now free.
Shigaraki pushing your thick thighs over your chest, making you into a mating press and pounding into your tight hole.
The sweat coming down from his face as your cry echo out more and your fingers dig on your palms, this fucking hurts.
Tomura sighs heavily as you feel more of his cum hitting your walls.
You start to notice your belly getting bigger… holy shit.. how much cum does he have ??
"Fuck… look at you." Tomura grabs your chin as he makes you stare into his lustful crimson eyes.
"Carrying all my babies inside of you.. aughh fuck." His hand goes to your belly areas and proceeds to rub it with care and gentleness.
It catches you off guard, his thrusts heavy and rough but his hand movement seems more careful and sincere.
Your eyes roll back and scream out, you don't know how many orgasms you've gotten up to but you start to feel lightheaded and overstimulated.
Tomura twisted your body around so you were on your knees, it was an uncomfortable position.
Shigaraki begins to aggressively bite your shoulder area, your neck covered up with bruises and bite marks.
Your tear sliding down your face as you felt his hands caressing your swollen belly then grabs your hips to get more rough, you felt his tip hitting your cervix, your cries louder each time he hit it.
" Shit I'm coming again aughh fuck-! " Tomura wraps his arms around your neck putting you in choke hold.
The ringing echo in your ears and you start to reach your high, you never had this intense orgasm in your life. The skin slapping skin, heavy cries and choked out moans were music to his ear.
Your wall contracting around his cock making him reach his end, more cum filled you up, you can feel his sticky heavy liquid sliding down your thick thighs.
It all went quiet, only the sound of his breathing and the smell of sex and sweat in the air.
Tomura removes his arm from your neck, you can feel it hot and hurting.
Shigaraki leans in to give soft kisses to your face, you feel numb, your body limp, unable to move.
"Don't worry baby, I'm letting you rest so we can go for more rounds." He removed himself as he put new boxers on as he moved to the computer.
"I'll clean you up after I finish, don't make a peep." You were too tired to make a sound or more.
Heavy sleep slowly consumes you.

Anon asked ...
" Okay! So I had this adorable thought! Could you do a Raine Whispers and a Child/Baby!reader where the reader is crying at night and Raine either plays music or sings them to sleep? "
On it!
[ Reader is aged no older than four-five years ]
( ALSO I DUNNO HOW/WHERE THE HEAD WITCHES LIVE IN CANON SO NOW THEY ALL LIVE IN A WING OF THE PALACE THING NOW. YAY. )
( TAKE RAINES VA SINGING THAT I ONLY GOT FROM A NICE ANON THANK YOU ANON MWA Raine's Voice Actor Singing )
( Renny/Ren/Renna - gender neutral mommy/daddy/mom/dad according to my research.)
---
Raines eyes blinked open, and even before they heard the next noise they knew exactly what it was. They sat up, the covers pooling around their waist. The book they were reading was open face-down on the bed, the pages folded from their negligence. They adjusted their glasses as the child creaked the door open a little more.
"Renna? Are you-"
"Yeah, I am. What's up?"
Y/N had been sick all night, feverish and even throwing up. Raine was worried for a moment that they would need to change Y/N's sheets. Y/N stood at the door awkwardly, hanging off of the door handle like they weren't sure what to do with their hands.
"I don't.. feel good."
"I know that," Raine smiled, opening their arms and inviting Y/N to come and join them on the bed. "What hurts?"
"..I don't know."
"Well, that makes it a little harder, babe. Tummy?"
"No. I just.."
Y/N struggled for a minute, thinking and getting situated on Raine's lap. The head witch snuck their hand under the back of Y/N's shirt, pressing their cool hand to the hot expanse of skin. Y/N shuddered.
"Just feverish, maybe? Feel a little clumsy?"
"Yeah." Y/N sighed. "I don't wanna go back to bed."
Raine looked over at the clock. It was almost three in the morning. If Y/N stayed up now they'd be out by six in the evening. Raine shrugged.
"Sorry, kiddo. I gotta get you back to sleep so you can stay up longer with Uncle Darius."
"But Renny-"
"Here, you wanna lay down in here for awhile? Maybe you'll change your mind."
Y/N hummed, unconvinced. "I think you're a liar."
"Don't calm me that. Lie down, I'll tell you a story."
"I don't want a story."
Y/N complained, but did a little jig to get situated under the covers. Raine laughed quietly, switching the lamp off again and tugging Y/N's warm little body to theirs.
"What do you want then?"
"A snack."
"Nope. Try again."
"Renny. Fine, song."
"Okay, that's a reasonable request."
Raine chuckled again, humming to themself for a moment. Y/N wiggled around and Raine wrapped their arms around the writhing child, hushing them before they could complain. They were silent for a moment, and Raine started singing softly.
The sound was quiet at first, strained as Raine got used to singing so quietly. Y/N sighed, snuggling up closer to Raine as they whispered the lyrics. Y/N huffed, nudging them.
"What?" Raine laughed.
"Do it louder. Please." They added as a light squeeze from Raine reminded them. Raine chuckled again, and the sound rocked through Y/N's little body, making them squirm lightly.
Raine started again- louder- and Y/N yawned finally, shutting their eyes. Raine sighed, running their hand against the skin of Y/N's stomach soothingly, spooning with the child. They kept singing, until a rather loud snore cut through their words. They chuckled quietly, then made sure the covers were tight over the both of them.
They glanced over to the window, where the first lights of dawn were peeking over the head of the Titan. The window- covered in small dewdrops and condensation from the previous rain- let through a filtered soft light. Raine shifted the cover up so it would block the sun from waking thier child. Raine kept humming quietly, until they fell back asleep too.
---
Weeeeeee I think this is okay 👍

CH. 8
Eclipse gets a well needed bath, Lunar gets a well needed hug, both get well needed assurance.
...
day one while not being sick:
age: 3
Sun had been put on bath time duty, he was fine with that, as much as he trusted his siblings (which was just about as far as he could throw them) alone around kids, they weren't all that experienced with bath times. OK he also wasn't, but he was the cleanest person who lived in the daycare, so it all balanced out. Eclipse had been a struggle, not in the traditional sense, like taking over body's and whatnot, but he was absolutely convinced he didn't deserve a bath. Sun had spent the better half of the hour fishing the child out of the ball pit, and when he had, Eclipse went limp, as if resigned to his fate. The walk was long and Sun thought about trying to find water proof toys in the daycare, unfortunately management sucked and hadn't supplied a bath tub on ground level for children who had accidents and needed a bath. Up until now the thought of bathing a child never crossed his mind.
When they had gotten to the tub it was atrocious, nothing about the place was clean. So Sun did the only logical thing, he went back to the daycare, gave Eclipse to Earth, grabbed two bottles of disinfectant and cleaned the bathroom for the next three hours. Sun threw away the empty bottles before making his trek back upstairs to collect his charge. Taking care of Eclipse had been surprisingly easy, he mostly played in the living room while the other children played in the daycare. Then again Eclipse had been sick for all but a day, so Sun didn't have anything to go off of. Eclipse wiggled in Suns arms, trying to get a better look at the plex.
Sun opened the door, the bath had already been drawn. Setting Eclipse down on the toilet, Sun checked the bathwater, "alright, lets get you undressed" Sun went with the bandages first, Eclipse whimpered, eye squeezed shut. He held his breath as the final bit of wrapping came off. His eye had been left untouched, "OK! can you open your eyes?" Eclipse opened his eyes, blinking in surprise, he looked around, a frown taking over his exited smile.
"blurry" he said, hand running over his eye lid.
Sun sighed, "its gonna be like that for a few days, its not used to so much light" Sun smiled sadly at the boys marred face.
"See?" Eclipse looked up at Sun, a hopeful glint in his eyes.
Sun frowned, "after your bath, then you can see while I fix this mop on your head, arms up" Sun eased the gown off of Eclipse, huh that's odd he could have sworn the gown used to reach his ankles. Eclipse stepped out of his pull up, perhaps they should potty train him, "alright!" Sun lifted his charge up and into the tub, "we are gunna get you clean first then you can play" Eclipse whined.
...
The bath went easier than expected, Eclipse had relaxed immediately after Sun had started washing his hair, wet orange locks falling past his shoulders. Sun sighed as Eclipse splashed in the water, his eyes drifted over to the clock, 7:13 pm, he sat up, sore from crouching for so long. grabbing a brush, hair dryer, and towel, Sun carefully pulled the plug from the tub, Eclipse gasped, entranced at the little water tornado. Sun smiled, he reminded him of Lunar. His smile dropped, this was going to end at some point, they would be back to where they started. Eclipse would hate them and want to reshape the world and it would be so much harder to want Eclipse to disappear off the face of the earth.
Sun wouldn't be able to go back, he was literally bathing and changing Eclipse, he had helped him sleep when he was sick and played with him when he was bored. There was no way Sun could do it, perhaps he could change, Eclipse was so little now, he could be reshaped! Given the chance to be good! Sun knew this idea was faulty, he could tell when bits of the old Eclipse burst through. Sharp glares as best as a child could do and an obsession with the plastic glow in the dark stars. "UP!" Sun jumped, surprised to hear Eclipse speak so clearly, he didn't speak often.
Sun wrapped Eclipse in the towel and set him on the toilet, getting to work on his charges hair. Eclipse sighed, swaying back and fourth as his eyes drooped. Sun looked at the tattered hospital gown then back at Eclipse, there was no way he was putting that back on him. Picking up the bundle of towel and child, Sun paused in front of the mirror, bouncing his hip to get Eclipse to open his eyes. Eclipse sat up, fingers tracing over the jagged cuts, "ugy" Sun frowned.
"No, I don't think so" he turned Eclipse to look at him, "I think you look very nice all clean and such, and when we find you some nice pj's you will look even better" he combed a stray lock off of Eclipse's forehead, Eclipse gave him a look of disbelief before laying his head back down.
...
He hadn't even made it to the ground floor before Eclipse had passed out, Sun shuddered, he could feel a line of drool running down his chest. He rummaged through the lost and found clothing bins until he had found a large onsie, it was a plain pink with long rabbit ears. Sun made his way to the teleportation button. He set Eclipse down on the couch, and quickly got a pull up, Lunar has entered the daycare, oh goody. Sun groaned inwardly, Lunar had been testier lately, Sun didn't blame him, much more irritable due to Eclipse living with them.
"I wanna do it" Sun jumped (how was Lunar so quiet?) and looked down at his littler brother, Lunars arms were on his hips, he glared up at Sun, hopped up onto the couch and snatched the onsie from him.
Sun blanched, eyes wide "Lunar I don't think that's a good idea"
Lunar's face scrunched up, "I take care of the kids too! Why is This" he motioned to Eclipse, "different!?".
Sun sighed, Lunar knew exactly why, Sun told him as such. Lunar didn't let go of the onsie, he shrunk in on himself, suddenly unsure, "you don't have to leave, I just...wanted to..." Sun frowned, he held his arms out, an invitation that Lunar gladly accepted. Sun rubbed his littlest brothers back, "Earth said to treat him like the others, or leave him alone..." he sniffed, "I just wanted to... be able to..." Lunar trailed off in hopes that Sun understood.
He pulled away to look at Lunar, "would you like to try?"

the Other Lane.
pairing : Clark Kent x Reader
requested by: @dashingcavill [Hope you like this! 💛]
warnings: Angst with a happy ending, and a lot of fluff in the end.
A/N: Ah, I'm really sorry I couldn't help but put some major angst in here, but I swear the ending is happy and I added the right amount of feels and fluff to make it hurt less. 💛
[The Masterlist]
You often wondered if you were born to your parents only to become a commodity that could be compared to your sister, Lois , at all times. Yes, the two of you were different, she had glamourous blonde hair and sparkling blue irises that made her strike out, while you had sombre [Y/H/C] hair and dull [Y/E/C] eyes that peeked out from the tint of your glasses. If the glasses weren't enough to fit you perfectly into the category that was termed as 'nerds', the fact that you loved to bury yourself into mounds and mounds of books, and literature was sure to fit you into that bill. All that comparison, but that didn't lessen the bond that you shared with Lois though.
However, things slowly started changing, the dynamics messing up when Clark Kent came into your life, as a friend and as a colleague.
Lois worked as a reporter for Daily Planet, and you, well you were mostly working in the background, struggling to make a run with your tiny little column on relationship advises. It wasn't like you were any less intelligent, but maybe you just were okay with how everything was going.
It didn't mean that there weren't times at all when Lois made you secretly jealous. To be fair, it didn't bother you when you heard stories of how Lois got herself into trouble yet again, with none other than the Superman came to her rescue. You could still take that, considering the fact that Superman took his duty towards the civilians as his topmost priority, but when you began noticing obvious changes in your sister's behaviour when she talked to Clark, his alter ego; your colleague at work, you couldn't help but start feeling the little pangs of jealousy.
It all began subtly— starting from lingering glances at the workplace, to hands brushing with each other's, almost innocently, yet the two of them had a sparkle in their eyes when it did. At first, you decided to ignore them at work, trying your best to not run into Clark Kent while you were in your office building. The reason for this was still inexplicably strange for you. You didn't even know the man that well, yet you could do nothing in your control to keep your budding feelings for him under check. It was like, the more you avoided Clark Kent, the more you began aching to get a glimpse of him.
As the days passed, you realized that your crush on Clark was slowly getting more prominent, and you started feeling scared, dreading if there ever came a day that your secret crush on him with finally be out. To top it up a notch, you wondered how Lois will react, knowing well aware that there was something blooming between the two of them, although she had never admitted this to you herself. Also, you kept hoping that whatever this was, between Clark and Lois, it was maybe all in your head and that maybe, just maybe, it wasn't even true, and you hoped it wasn't.
Soon, days grew into weeks and weeks flew by as long months, and you realized that what you felt for Clark wasn't just a silly crush, but you were actually falling in love with the man. It was the littlest things that he did that made your heart melt. You would, sometimes, run into him in the cafeteria, where he would be filling up his mug of coffee. He was a gentleman, he would smile and greet you warmly, your eyes meeting his sparkling bright ones as he would move out of the way and insist that you went ahead first. You would often end up taking elevator rides with him, and he would make sweet small talks with you, talking to you about everything, ranging from the weather to a possible alien invasion.
The plan that you had cooked up to avoid Clark Kent went down the drain from those days onwards. Instead, you almost began running into Clark almost everyday. The gossips about Clark and Lois had, by then, died down and you couldn't help but feel relieved, relieved that maybe you had just been dreaming, and there was nothing between Lois and Clark.
"Hey [Y/N], can I borrow your turtleneck? I can't seem to find mine?"
You looked up from the book that you had been binge reading on, flustered and embarassed, as you immediately tossed the book unceremoniously into your blanket. Of course, you couldn't let your sister in on the fact that you were secretly reading the fifty shades series. She would tease the living hell out of you. And then there was the fact that you felt ashamed of the fact that you could practically imagine Clark Kent in your mind as Christian Grey, and it was making you all heated up and bothered.
Lois raised an eyebrow when she saw you red you had turned, "Are you okay? You look like a massive human sized tomato."
"Gee, Lois, thanks?" You mumbled, still reeling from the way she had suddenly barged into your bedroom, as you pushed your glasses over the bridge of your nose, "couldn't bother to knock?"
"Since when do we do these formalities?" She wiggled her eyebrows dramatically, and dashed towards your closet, throwing it open as her fingers began working through the hangers, looking for what she was looking for. She was practically messing up your closet, so you sighed and decided to give her a helping hand. Abruptly, you slid out of the covers, forgetting about the novel that you had hidden underneath and the novel suddenly slipped off the side of the bed and fell to the floor, it's covering full on display.
You facepalmed, burying your face into your hands as Lois walked up to the book and picked it up, smirking obviously as she read out the title out loud just to tease you.
"Looks like my baby sister is finally growing her wings."
"Stop it, Lois. Don't embarass me," you grumbled, looking away. Instead, you dashed up to your closet and pushed her to the side, roughly pulling out your turtleneck as you handed it to her.
"Come on, [Y/N]" she laughed, shaking her head, messing up her perfectly styled blonde waves as she ran a hand through them, "We all have done this. You're not the only one. Nothing to be embarassed about. It's not like you're watching porn."
"It is technically still porn if I'm reading it," you whispered, watching her as she examined the turtleneck and smiled, as though she had pictured just the best trousers to go with it in the back of her mind as she absentmindedly replied back, "Again, sis, we all have done it."
You noticed the way she kept glancing at her phone, with a smile threatening to spill across her features. You raised your eyebrows and smacked your lips together, blinking curiously. She finally looked up and saw that you were staring at her so she grinned, "Guess who has a date tonight?"
"A date?" You asked, absentmindedly.
"Clark asked me out, [Y/N]. He is taking me to this really good Thai place that opened up in the suburbs and I just couldn't decide on what to wear!! This will just go perfectly with my jeans."
It happened so suddenly, but it still did. You felt like someone had just ripped your gut out with bare hands. You suddenly felt empty, was an understatement. You suddenly felt strange and cut off, and everything around you suddenly felt cold and distant and gloomy. You looked up at her, your earlier warmth having dissipated into a cold, dark look and you gave her a smile, biting your lip, "That's great, Lois. Have fun."
Lois noticed the way your face fell, but she couldn't understand or take the hint. She kept watching as you moved away, turning your back towards her and didn't utter another word. She parted her lips, wanting to ask her what had gone wrong suddenly, but decided not to, or rather, keep the discussion for another time. She didn't want Clark to reach before she had even gotten ready. You didn't step out of your bedroom, that night when Lois returned from her date with Clark, and Lois frowned when she saw that the lights to your bedroom were already switched off. You were a late sleeper.
Two months later,
Lois looked up from the article that she had been reading to find you enter the dining room with a breakfast plate in your hand.
"Mornin'," you mumbled, your voice barely audible as you sat down on a chair in front of her, next to your father, Sam Lane. Your father looked up from the newspaper that he was reading, and glanced at Lois who shrugged her shoulders in response and he cleared the throat.
"Honey, don't you think you've been locking yourself up in your room for long now? When was the last time you actually did something that didn't involve either the bed, or your office desk?" The cutting crispness in his voice was enough to slice through your heart, but weirdly, you felt nothing, ecen when you heard Lois gasp and mumble something to her father in protest.
"What do you want me to do, dad?" You asked, sipping your juice, your eyes fixed to your plate.
Ignoring you, Sam turned towards his elder daughter as he narrowed his eyes at her, his loud, booming voice echoing through your house, "Lois, what the hell happened at work? She just quit? And didn't even give a damn valid reason as to what on earth happened?"
"I don't know, dad. She hardly talks to me anymore," Lois replied.
You chuckled dryly to yourself, wondering when you had become so invisible to the world. You were right there with them and yet they regarded you like you weren't even there.
"It was difficult to get you job at the Daily Planet and look at you, throwing it away for whatever the hell the reason was." Your dad barked.
Your fingers clenched into a fist and Lois visibly tensed. Hurriedly, she stood up and announced that she was leaving. You stood up too, but not for work, but rather to go back to the place that you had locked yourself in for the past two months. When you reached the door, you turned around and regarded your father, mumbling, "Why would you care anyway? You never really did before."
You kicked open your room door and slammed it back shut again as you ran straight for your bed. You were trembling like a leaf trying to detach itself from the tree when you buried your face into the pillow and screamed as loudly as you could into it. You were a mess, a walking , talking, living, breathing mess.
You cried, for almost thirty minutes, until you were out of tears. You then sat up and rubbed your eye sockets, finally taking a deep breath. You were letting Clark and Lois affect you so much, you had forgotten what it was like to live normally. How were you supposed to go on like this? If you wouldn't take a command of your own life again, then how would learn to get back up on your feet? When would you learn to accept that you would never get Clark? He wasn't the one for you.
Feelings are so transient, it's like you can feel them slicing through your insides one minute, and then the other minute, you feel unrealistically numb.
With those sorts of destructive thoughts in your mind, you sneaked a bottle of whiskey that night from your father's liquor cabinet at two am at night. You rolled the window pane and snuck out onto the fire escape until you were climbing up towards the roof the building of your apartment, the bottle in tow.
You fixed yourself on the ledge, using your teeth to twist the bottle cap as you took a swig of it, feeling the warm liquid burn your relentless thirst for relief. Sip after sip, you kept staring at the starless sky, mediating your gaze from the sky down to the glittery buildings.
"Will I ever forget you, Clark Kent?" You whispered, into the thin air, laughing bitterly at yourself as you took the last sip from the bottle before it rolled away. The way the lights glimmered in front of you, and one of two cars drove past your building, looking like tiny little blinking lights from the height you were at, you realized one thing. No matter how bad your heart is broken, the world doesn’t stop for your grief.
You were lost in a turbulence of your own thoughts, so entangled into them, you didn't hear the soft thud somewhere behind you, neither the sound of the faintest footsteps that got closer to you, with every passing second. You took a sharp breath, and slowly stepped over the ledge, feeling shudders all over your frame as the winds hit you all over you. You footing, however, slipped, a sharp scream erupting from your lips as you fell backwards against gravity, your heart almost stopping.
Someone suddenly reached out towards you, gripping your wrist, leaving you hanging from the ledge, your body flailing in the air.
He pulled you with a jerk towards you, and your body hit his front, your hair falling all over your face partially covering it. You felt intoxicated, so much, that you had almost died by falling off the building but you didn't feel the scare, the only thing you felt was a sudden surge of adrenaline.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Superman growled, through gritted teeth, his eyes sparkling as you jerked you by your shoulders.
"Clark? Is -- that you?!" You slurred, holding on to his cape tight to hold you in place. You were in a weird state of mind, you could see that it was him, but you couldn't figure out if it really was him, or if it was your mind that was playing an illusion on you.
"Are you trying to kill yourself?" Clark fumed, still holding on to you by the low of your back. He suddenly jumped off the ledge, with you in tow, away from the edge, so the two of you were in the middle of the roof now.
"K-Kill myself? No, I.. I.." You stammered, struggling for the right words but your brain felt frozen.
"Two months, and you don't show yourself. And when I finally see you, you're trying to jump off a fucking building?!" His eyes just then fell on the empty whiskey bottle. He growled, clenching his fists tight as he let go off you and walked up to the where the bottle lay, his cape flying behind him. He bent, lifting it up as he examined it, noticing how the neck of the bottle had your lipstick imprints on it. "And you're drunk. To top it up a notch."
Your nostrils flared in an anger you hadn't experienced ever before, your secret feelings finally crushing you completely, mixed with the alcohol that was rushing through your blood. You growled, like a cornered animal, that was wounded yet didn't want to back down. You pushed him, once, twice, throwing out all your pent up anger and frustration into his steely body like he felt no hurt. You screamed, you lashed, you scratched and you cried, finally coming undone, like beads of a rosary coming apart and scattering all over the floor.
Clark's heart broke at the sight of you. He had always seen you as a strong, happy woman, always smiling for him whenever he saw you at work. And this woman, that stood in front of his eyes right now, was far from it.
"I am not weak! I wouldn't kill myself! You give yourself too much importance, to think that someone would give their life for you!" You lashed out.
You were tired of hitting him like a punching bag. He grabbed you by your wrists, holding them together in front of you, pressed against his chest. He slowly moved, so he was towering over you, his back shielding you from unwanted, prying eyes as he gazed into your eyes, trying to find the answer to where all of this was coming from.
"You don't know what you're talking about. Come on, Lois is worried about you."
You couldn't stop yourself when your hand jerked itself free from his hold, and your palm struck his cheek. There was a crackling noise, of skin against skin, and tears formed in your eyes when the realisation hit you, all the intoxication washing off of you. You had just slapped Superman, a man that could snap your neck by grabbing your throat. Yet, he just stood there, too shocked to even register that you had slapped him right across his face and what was worse, he couldn't understand the reason you had done that. Anger was surfing through his veins, but worse than the anger that he was feeling, he was feeling like someone had pulled his heart out, ripping it to shreds right in front of his eyes.
"Why?" He let go off your other hand, his own palm coming to rest against his cheek as you gave you a look full of hurt.
"Why did you even save me, Clark? You should have let me fall. Atleast, it would have spared me the pain of listening to her name flow out of your lips again."
"Why do you hate her so much? She is your sister, [Y/N] and she cares for you. She worries that you're killing yourself and she doesn't know the reason why--" Clark was losing his temper, slowly but surely. He didn't understand you and that was eating him up.
"The reason why? WHY??! Oh Clark can you stop? And listen to yourself. I love Lois, but she needs to stop trying to govern my life. I'm allowed to feel sad, I'm allowed to feel a fucking heartbreak--" You didn't realise, but your lips were trembling now, your eyes leaking salty tears. You shivered when you felt Clark hold you by your shoulders but you didn't push his arms away.
"Who broke your heart?" He whispered, his voice cracking.
"You're fucking daft for a man who saves the world--" Hissing bitterly , you pushed yourself away from Clark's grip and turned towards the ledge but this time, you didn't try anything that would risk your life. You simply revelled in the cold feeling of the wind striking your tear stained face as you took a punctured breath, feeling Clark's breath on the side of your neck.
"Who broke your heart?" He asked again, but this time it was much softer, and it made you bite down on your lip to hold yourself from breaking into a hysterical crying.
"You did, Clark. You broke my heart." You finally whispered, staring into the abyss in front of you, your eyes cloudy and your throat parched as you continued, your lips trembling, "I loved you. Always did, but you never looked at me. It was always Lois. And it killed me, watching you love her, knowing that you will never love me the way you love her--" Clark let you speak, he wanted to listen to you, for you to let it all out, all those bitter things that you had locked up inside your mind, that was slowly eating you up and killing you from the inside. "I am tired of everyone, for you, for my father and for the world to see me as the Other Lane, as Lois Lane's little sister. My name is [Y/N]. I like to draw although I am shit at it, I can sing in the showers and I hate partying. That is me. I want a normal relationship too, but it seems that the world is against me. I fell in love with one man, and turns out, he isn't even human, he is a freaking superhero from Krypton?"
Clark let out a gruff sounding snort, as he looked down at you. Reluctantly, he reached for a strand of hair that was sticking to your tear coated cheek, removing it and gently tucking it behind your ear. He felt a shudder run down your spine, with just a gentle touch of his hand and he smiled, biting his lip. How was he supposed to tell you what the truth was?
"You remember how we met at the cafeteria every morning ? And I let you take the coffee?"
You nodded, listening to him, trying to control the crying that had now turned to sniffles, as Clark kept speaking.
"And the countless times I ran into that elevator with you and me stuck inside for just two floors?"
"You must have been thinking how weird I was. How unlike Lois--" You began, but you were cut off by Clark's voice.
"I used to wonder if there was anything I could do to make the elevators stop working, so I'd get to spend more time with you. Wretched elevators, not once did anything go according to what I wanted." He mumbled, but he had a small smile playing on his lips, while you just looked on, staring at him in disbelief, wondering if your mind was playing jokes with you once again.
"I thought I would take Lois' help, to you know, figure out if you felt the same way, but you never said anything to her."
"What about the date? Lois and you went on?" You asked.
"Well, I --" he shrug, looking down at his feet, sheepishly, " Lois thought you would confess how you felt for me if we pretended to--"
You were too numb to react; so you just blinked in retaliation. Your blood ran cold, and you suddenly felt light headed. All this while, while you had secretly been pining for Clark Kent to love you back, was it actually the other way round? Was Clark going through the same thing wondering if you felt the same for him?
"That was cowardly." You hissed, through pursed lips, "Trying to pretend to be in love with my sister."
"I was in love with the other Lane," he bit his lip, his face slightly inclined towards you, so he was looking down at you, and you up at him, "I think you are amazing. You are intelligent, and smart. And you're unique. There are these little things I adore about you. The way you greeted everyone whenever I was around-- ranging from the security guard, to the building keepers at the Daily Planet.. the way you forgot to wipe your lips after drinking coffee, and you had this froth all over your upper lip giving you a faint moustache?" He chuckled because you literally let out a gasp, suddenly embarassed.
"Then there were those days you had a bad day and you locked yourself up in your cabin, working all day. I wondered if I should just knock, but I was scared you will tell me off--" he continued, his blues peeking into yours. Your stomach fluttering, you couldn't help but laugh, as though a weight had been lifted off your chest suddenly and held him steady with your hand on his arm. Finally mustering enough courage, you pushed yourself on your toes, and reached up, letting your palm graze delicately over his cheek, caressing his cheekbone with your thumb, "I would have never told you off, Clark. Though that's not what is bothering me right now."
"What is ?" He asked, innocently, relaxing under the touch of your thumb.
"You said you're in love with the other Lane, Clark."
His lips creased, slowly tugging upwards into a smile that was enough to make you feel giddy. Superman wrapped a sturdy arm around you and felt yourself being lifted off, until he was practically holding you in his arms, "Mhm, yep? You got a problem, Miss Lane? Or do Kryptonians don't fit the bill ?"
"Oh, hush, Clark. You're such a dork. But will you be.. my dork?" You bit your lip, holding on to him as though your life depended on it.
"I thought... you'd never ask?" He began, unsure of how to properly weave the complexity of his feelings , churn them into words, something only Clark Kent was good at , and not his alter ego, but found himself halted by the soft press of your index finger against his lips and the sweet whisper of your voice against his ears as he held you close.
“I know, neither did I.” You whispered as he clasped your face in his massive hands and gently touched his lips to yours.
Three years later,
This had probably been the longest that Clark Kent had been away from you, his lover, his best friend, his wife-- four months to be exact. Needless to say, he was excited to be able to see you again, to hold you again.
The familiar silhouette of the cottage on top of the hill came into his view, flowers hanging into tiny earthen pots hanging out on the front porch. The freshly painted white picket fence looked beautiful, and inviting as Lois stood with Martha by the gate, both the ladies sipping tea from their respective cups and saucers. They couldn't contain their smiles when they saw Clark, even though he was covered in what looked like grime and blown up alien intestines?
"I don't even want to know what happened," Lois chuckled, while Martha hugged her son and he kissed the side of her cheek before she scrunched up her nose in disgust at how awful he smelled.
"Well, I guess I'll draw you a bath, you two can talk out here until the baths ready." Both Clark and Lois watched as Martha Kent disappeared into the home and he smiled, when Lois spoke again.
"FYI, she is at the orchard, harvesting the apples for an apple pie," Lois gave him a smug look, fluttering her lashes, "Oh don't pretend you don't want to see her. I can see your eyes darting around, trying to find her. I'll be inside, both of you, just come back in for supper."
He nodded, watching Lois leave and slowly, his fists clenched on either of his sides, he found his way into the tiny orchard that his lovely wife loved to spend most of her time at. He fixed himself by the wooden gate, his eyes admiring you from afar, as you stood on your tiptoes and picked out apples, tossing them into the basket that you held in your arm.
"Need help, Mrs. Kent?"
The basket dropped from your hand as you turned towards the source of the voice, your lips parted in shock. Clark's eyes travelled from you down to your beautiful swollen bump that your loose maternity dress was doing nothing to hide. He chuckled at your response as he walked towards you with longer, faster steps while you simply waddled towards him.
"Jesus, Clark-- I thought you'd miss the birth," you cupped your husband's cheeks in between your swollen fingers as he nuzzled his nose against yours, before kissing you.
"How is my monkey?" He brought his palm to rest against your nine month old baby bump, stroking over the fabric as he whispered against your lips.
"Moving around, not letting me get an ounce of sleep," you smiled, letting your fingers rest over his hand that rested against your stomach, "but I cant really complain now, can I? After all the little nugget's got Kryptonian blood running through their veins."
Clark chuckled, his blue eyes crinkling slightly as he knelt down in front of you, his face in line with the base of your bump as he planted a kiss on the curve of it.
"Come on, Kal Jr, will you stop bothering your mom? She needs all the sleep she can before you push your way into the world and steal our goodnight sleeps for a while," you smiled warmly, as you peered down at him, running your fingers through his hair and he looked up at you, planting another kiss against your bump.
You suddenly frowned and looked at the brown mess on your fingers that stank.
"God, Clark? What the hell? Did you seriously take a dive in a shit pool?"
He chuckled as he pulled himself up again and his hand once again found the base of your stomach to lay his hand protectively upon.
"Alien blood. You should have seen the intestines that covered me. It looked like noddles dipped in black bean sauce and meatballs--" You smacked him hard against the chest to shut him up, but instead he began laughing, his laughter rumbling out of his stomach as you began dragging him inside with his stained cape.

KABILANG BUHAY
× A TRESE ONESHOT ×
[Crispin x Ghost!Reader]
📝 Summary: Your demigod husband remembers you—everything about you—and how much he absolutely loved you. He remembers everything, including the memory that hurt the most.
📌 Warning: Contains fluff, angst, character death, and mentions of violence (because an angry Crispin being the son of a wargod is bound to shed some blood somewhere). Masakit po talaga 'tong songfic na 'to, trust me. If you don't want to get hurt, scroll awaaaay. Pero if you want maximum 1000% ultra heavy pain, then listen to the song below on repeat while reading, too.
Song: Kabilang Buhay by Bandang Lapis
(word count: 5,642)
"Masasayang mga araw na kasama kita."
Warm. Crispin always remembered you to be so warm—every single part of you. The heat of your skin against his whenever he held you, that whimsical sparkle in your eyes whenever you saw the little joys in life, that sprightly curve of your lips whenever you two teased each other, and the radiance he saw from you whenever you were around the people you loved.
In his eyes, there was always a halo around your head or a beam of light following you around. Perhaps he was biased; perhaps he saw you through rose-tinted glasses, but it didn't matter to him. To the demigod, you were everything he ever wanted.
You were the one.
You were also one of the sweetest people he'd ever met. Every morning without a fail, there would always be a hot cup of kape and a plate of pandesal on the table—not only for him, but for everyone else in your little family, too. Alexandra, Hank, and of course, his younger brother Basilio. Even before you became his girlfriend, you'd treated them as your own loved ones.
That was the day he knew you were truly the one for him. The one who he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. The one he wanted to build a home with. The woman he wanted to marry and have children with, if you were okay with it (when that conversation came, you said you would be happy and honored to be his wife).
Crispin said it was the other way around. It was he who was fortunate and honored to be your husband. You'd laughed in response, kissing his cheek. There were no fancy rings or a formal, elaborate proposal involved, but that day—he remembered clearly that you had that conversation on a chilly December 1st, 9:24PM, right before you two went to bed—was an unspoken promise.
You two would be inseparable and together 'til death do you part.
Going back to that coffee and bread, he always wondered how you managed to keep it so fresh (you said it was a secret, but later on you spilled the beans to him after him pestering you). Even if he woke up at noon because of missions with his bossing and his brother, palaging mainit ang kape at pandesal. You must have had some sort of superpower you weren't telling him (you rolled your eyes, telling him that superpower came in the form of a microwave).
"Paglalambing at kulit mo na hindi nakakasawa."
He was by no means clingy or touch-starved, but whenever he was around you, he had the need to at least hold you in any way. Sometimes, it was the usual PDA (Basilio and Maliksi teased him about it, but he didn't care if it meant having some sort of contact with you; Alexandra just let it be because she knew how much you two loved each other). In public, you guys toned it down—settling with holding hands or you just linking your arm through his. If he was driving the car, his hand would either be innocently resting on your thigh or your hand which was on your lap. If you were the one driving the car, then it would be your hand on his thigh or his hand. He loved to draw circles on your skin whenever he was daydreaming or starting to doze off, too.
You as a couple often expressed your love for each other in different ways, and not just by saying it out loud. One thing Crispin adored the most about your relationship was the way you voicelessly said "I love you". If it wasn't clear enough that acts of service was one of your love languages, then he could understand that you loved him back through three taps.
Tap. Tap. Tap.
At first, he had no clue what it meant. You just kept doing it whenever you were near him, on whatever body part you could touch. If he was driving? Tap, tap, tap on his thigh. If he was the one cooking? You'd hug him from behind and then one of your fingers would go tap, tap, tap on his waist. If you were eating together? You'd take his palm then just... tap, tap, tap while chewing on whatever food it was you had in your mouth.
He recalled that afternoon you guys were eating at a simple Japanese place. While you slurped up some of the wheat noodles and the savory soup, you were excitedly doing a little happy dance as you ate—the one you did whenever you ate something you found yummy. Frankly, Crispin found it endearing. He, too, was guzzling down some of the ramen when you reached out for his hand then laid it on the table palm up.
With a mischievous smile and your puffed up cheeks looking like a chipmunk from the noodles you'd gobbled up, you gently tapped his palm with your index finger, that same glint in your eye whenever you did that gesture.
"... Anong ginagawa mo, mahal?" Crispin chuckled, a brow raised. He found it cute but he had no idea what it was supposed to stand for.
"Wala lang," you mysteriously answered in a muffled voice, swallowing.
"You know, you shouldn't talk when your mouth is full," he pointed out, amused. You snorted, gulping.
"Not my fault you asked a question, Crispin," you retorted, shoving in another bite of noodley goodness with your chopsticks. You did a mini-wiggle when the umami flavor exploded on your tongue (the ramen was bussin', bestie). Ratatouille would be impressed!
"But seriously, what does the tap stand for?" your boyfriend wondered. You did it again. Tap, tap, tap.
"Isn't it obvious?" you smiled. He then sweat-dropped.
"Wait, keep smiling," Crispin leaned over the table, removing a tiny bit of the dahon sibuyas stuck on one of your front teeth with his nail. He then popped that finger into his mouth, making you blink at the action.
"Ay, may naiwan pala. Hehehehehe." With how long you two have been dating, you were no longer embarrassed if you did get anything stuck in your teeth and he had to get it out (it's happened in more occasions than you could count). You did the same to him (and trust me, you were way past the stage of getting grossed out from the gross habits couples did). At least you two were a hundred percent comfortable and open to one another, right? Sanaol.
Crispin nodded, going back to eating his noodles, "Okay, back to the topic. What does this—" He tapped your palm the same way you did. "—even mean?"
Your grin just grew wider then you whispered into his ear, "I love you."
"... I love you, too," he answered automatically, still not understanding. "But what do the taps mean? You keep doing it and—"
You did it again on his hand.
"I." Tap.
"Love." Tap.
"You." Tap.
At long last, that look of realization came upon his features, "... Aaaaaaaaah."
You chuckled, all brightness and merriness from your revelation to the man you loved. "Gets mo na, mahal?"
He scratched the back of his head sheepishly, "Oo, mahal. Hehe."
"... Can we order another bowl of ramen? Please?" With those puppy-dog eyes? Crispin could never resist. He'd rip the world apart for you and build it back up from scratch if you wanted him to.
That was how deep his love was for you. Kapag nagmamahal ang isang diyos, walang imposible... 'di ba?
He was already raising a hand to call for a waiter, "Sure. Basta maubos mo."
"... And if half lang maubos ko?"
He sighed, "... Edi ako kakain sa anong maiiwan." What was the saying whenever you found your soulmate? Oh, yes.
True love is getting fat together.
Maybe it was true for both of you.
When you two exited the ramen place, you patted your bloated tummy. "Haaaay, busog na busog si food baby," you sighed in happiness, adjusting the the top of your high-waisted skirt to loosen it up for more space. You elbowed him slightly, wiggling your eyebrows at him and mimicking Kylie Jenner, "Soooo, I'm thirty-four weeks today."
"'Luh, ang drama mo," Crispin snickered, poking your rounded side playfully and making you pout. "Nagdadalang tao ka pala, ha. Ako ang tatay pero hindi mo sinabi sa akin na buntis ka." He wouldn't lie, but thoughts of you being pregnant with a child warmed his entire being. Mini-yous and mini-hims running around.
What a dream.
"Nagdadalang tae lang po, manong," you stuck your tongue out at him, then stopped. He stopped walking, too, looking at you questioningly.
"What? What's wrong?"
"Mahal?" you paused. Gulugulugulugulu. Oh no. Mayday, mayday!
"Did you forget something at the restaurant?" he asked. You shook your head in response, telling him there was an emergency.
"... Mahal, natatae ako."
"Like, now?" You nodded at him with wide, doe-like irises. His eyes crinkled, finding the situation hilarious. "Really? Oh shit. Literally. Is this because we were talking about poop?"
Crispin could only cackle as you rummaged through your bag for some wet wipes (and the situation led to you two running around the mall like psychos looking for the nearest restroom—grabe ang cold sweat mo, sis; it was that type of pooping session).
As he waited outside the women's comfort room, he found himself smiling like a weirdo from your date today. Nagdadalang tae o nagdadalang tao, he wouldn't love you any other way.
"Punong-puno ng ligaya ang ating pagsasama."
He found himself unconsciously doing the tapping to you, as well. Tap. Tap. Tap. He only now realized how many times you've been saying "I love you" everyday. Usually, you'd only verbally say it out loud three times: in the morning waking up, whenever he left for a mission, or the times you went to sleep together (because of the nature of his work, it was uncommon, but if he was at home during the night, he'd make sure to say it to you). But now that he knew what the taps meant, he counted them for one week from Monday to Sunday.
You were sitting on the couch, on your stomach and sprawled vertically over his lap. He was watching a basketball game on television while you were on your phone, scrolling through Facebook. It was all quiet until he tapped his finger thrice on your calf. You beamed, rolling over to face him then gently tapping his cheek three times—not with your fingers, but with your hands, smooshing his cheeks then pecking his lips.
"Fwifee-hweif," he said. You tilted your head at him, letting go of his cheeks.
"What was that?" you curiously inquired.
"Fifty-eight," Crispin gave you his signature flirty grin. "You tapped me one hundred seventy-four times today. And one hundred seventy-four divided by three—because I love you has three syllables—is equal to fifty-eight." His affectionate gaze to you softened. "Mahal, you've told me I love you fifty-eight times today."
You just hugged him and hid your face in his neck, "I love you, too, manooooong."
"... Wanna watch a K-drama tonight?" he said, his voice rumbling through his chest as you laid your head on it.
"Mmhmm."
You guys ended up binging Scarlet Heart Ryeo and bawling your eyes out (Crispin cried louder than you, actually, and the box of tissues was passed back n' forth between you two).
"Punyeta, walang Season Two?" Crispin cursed, blowing his nose.
You hiccupped, shaking your head and scrolling through the categories, "W-Wala e-eh, m-mahal."
"Seryoso ka ba?" he gaped, wiping his tears after wiping yours. "That's how it ends?"
You nodded, sniffling, "Uh-huh."
The next morning, when all of you gathered in the kitchen for breakfast, Alexandra and the others could only stare, nagtataka kung bakit namamaga ang mga mata niyo (yeah, they were swollen as hell).
"... Anyare sa inyo?" Alexandra quizzed. Hank, while pouring everyone some juice, had a worried look on his face, too.
"Nag-away ba kayong dalawa, Kuya?" Basilio questioned. You both shook your head simultaneously.
"Hindi," Crispin shortly answered, exhausted from crying with you all night.
"Nanood lang kami ng K-drama," you supplied, as worn out as your boyfriend was.
"Aaaaaaah."
"Na parang wala nang sisira ng lahat."
The date always held some significance to him, not only because it meant only a few days before Christmas but also because it was the day you promised to one another that you'd be endgame.
December 1st.
It would repeat in his head over and over again until the day he died.
The two of you were lying in bed, the cold night air entering through the open windows. You were leaning on his chest in-between his lap, reading The Count of Monte Cristo. He noticed that your expression often shifted between being giddy to being angry or smug at what was happening to the main character.
"... Mahal?"
"Yeah?" you responded, not taking your eyes off the novel. You flipped another page.
"What kind of ring do you want? Para alam ko kung magkano ang iiponin ko?" he quietly asked, his thumb caressing your temple. Normally, men wanted this to be a surprise or didn't talk about this but he only wanted you to have something you'd cherish for the rest of your life. You tilted your head back to look up at him. "Do you want those with the big gems or the smaller and simpler ones?"
You gazed back at your novel, then sat up and closed it, turning to look at him. "Crispin." You took his hands in your own (he tapped it thrice, making a teeny smile creep up your lips). "Hindi ko kailangan ng singsing."
His eyes grew wide, "... Are you sure? You don't want to be formally married?"
You frantically shook your head, "Nooooooo, noooo! That's not what I meant, dummy. I just wanted to tell you that I don't need an expensive ring to be yours." You kissed him. "And to be your wife."
"Pero—"
"Mahal, if we ever do have kids, mahal ang gatas, diaper, at tuition," you childishly told him. "Kung magpapakasal tayo, I don't need a huge proposal or a big wedding. Let's put the funds away for a house and for the future, 'mkay?"
"... But you won't have a ring," he sulked.
Getting an idea, you hopped off the bed and open your cabinet, finding a piece of durable string on one of your shirts. With a strong tug, it came off. You walked back towards your boyfriend, flopping back down then looping it on your left ring finger. You held your hand up to him, "There. I have a ring now, see?"
Crispin had never ever loved anyone as much as he did right now. There was a nagging feeling at the back of his head, though. "... I feel like I've seen this in a movie before, mahal."
"Duuuuh. I got the idea from the Count of Monte Cristo. Mercedes promises herself to Dantes with a string ring! Sorry nalang if copyright infringement ang ginawa ko, hihi." You showed him the book you were reading, the smile not disappearing from your face. Feeling ecstatic, he kissed you passionately right on the spot.
"Ipapangako mo sa akin na magsasama tayo nang walang hanggan?" Crispin whispered against your lips. "Magpakailanman?"
You kissed him, rolling your eyes, "Oo na, Crispin. Corny mo talaga, manong. Such a hopeless romantic, like me!" Another kiss. "I'll stay with you forever and ever and eveeeeeer and grow old with you. We'll get that rest house in the mountains, travel the world together, win the lotto, and do anything we want!" you declared determinedly.
"Promise? Talaga?"
You grinned, wriggling your little finger, "Pinky promise."
He linked his pinky with yours, "Okay. Pinky promise, wifey."
"Okaaaaay, hubby," you quipped, settling down and snuggling into him.
9:24PM, he saw the digital clock display before he pulled the covers over you both, keeping you warm and safe in his arms.
"Bakit pa dumating ang oras na ito?"
"Mahaaaaal, pauwi na ako. Huwag kang mag-alala," you quietly told Crispin over the phone. He was on another investigation, but while their bossing was speaking to Captain Guerrero and Lieutenant Tapia about the case, he used the spare time he had to check up on you.
You had been buying groceries, but knowing you, Crispin had a feeling you had gone to do some other errands.
"Pauwi ka na? Meaning, you're driving home?" He sighed, "And why are you whispering?"
"... Ehehehe," you nervously giggled.
"Anong ehehehehe?" the demigod asked you, suspicious. "Mahal, saan ka na ba talaga?"
"Nasa banko pa ako. Oopsies," you admitted shamelessly. "But I just finished paying the bills. I'm actually walking away from the counter now and—"
You suddenly stopped talking. For a second, the son of the wargod thought that the signal had gone bad.
"Mahal?"
Your voice had gone distant, but it seemed like it was talking to someone else. He strained to hear what you were saying.
"Hey, hey... shhhh, little one, huwag kang umiyak," he heard you say. Your voice seemed so far away. You seemed like you were trying to shush a person. A kid.
"I want my mom!" a child wailed.
"... Langga, come here. At huwag kang masyadong maingay." If it weren't for his heritage as a god, he would have barely been able to hear what you said.
Were you comforting a kid? Awww. He was about to just end the call then text you instead when another much louder and crueler voice could be heard over the phone. No, there wasn't only one voice. There were more.
"Mamatay kayong lahat! Balang araw, hindi na mga tao ang mamumuno sa mundong ito!"
Then there was a sound that was unmistakably a gunshot.
"Nabalitaan ko na wala ka na."
Bang!
His blood went cold. Almost every day he handled firearms in his line of work, so of course he knew what it sounded like. The shrieks and terrified shouts came after the gunshots.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The last thing he heard were more gunshots, then the call ending.
He had never sprinted to Alexandra so fast before, frantically begging her to let him use the Dragon's Gate to teleport to wherever you were, even if it made him physically sick and nauseous.
Crispin didn't give a damn what happened to him, as long as nothing happened to you.
"Hindi ba't sabi mo hindi mo ko iiwan?"
It all happened so fast. One moment he was silently praying to Bathala for your safety while looking for you in the chaos. The next? He was scouring through the overwhelmed emergency room of the nearest hospital, where it was flooded with victims from the mall shooting.
It was a mess, with bleeding patients on the floor as nurses tried to assist. Others were seated on monobloc chairs that had been quickly put on the corridors. There was an overwhelming number of patients taken to the hospital either through ambulances or police cars themselves. It already began to stink of death, and Crispin hated it. His bloodlust as a wargod was creeping up his veins from the stench and his inner fury, but he held it in. He needed to find you first.
Behind him, Alexandra and Basilio were searching for you, too. When he told them what happened, they didn't hesitate to help and be transported to the mall as quick as possible. Captain Guerrero had already dispatched units after hearing what occurred (there was also an alarm that had blared in the station—a bank employee must have pressed an emergency button or something).
Surprisingly, in the midst of the havoc happening inside the hospital, he found himself walking towards the Trauma Bay of the hospital like a magnet. He had no idea where he was going, but he just kept going, and he stopped by a less crowded hallway. If he just went straight forward, he would be entering an operating room.
"Excuse me, coming through! Make some way!" It was a doctor who yelled from behind him. He turned around.
"Hindi papabayaan na ako'y mag-isa."
And as if time went by slower, he found you on a stretcher, being wheeled through the corridor as a nurse was on the bed with you, performing CPR. He saw the amount of blood gushing out of the bullet wounds on your body; one on your back, another on your stomach, and a third on your thigh.
Crispin couldn't help but run after them, asking one of the health professionals what was happening to you, "Nurse! Nurse, is she going to be okay!?"
"Are you her family?" they quickly interrogated. Alexandra and Basilio rounded the corner right as the nurse asked him that. Both held their breaths when they saw the tormenting state you were in, unconscious and on the brink of death.
The eldest demigod frenziedly nodded, "Yes, yes! I'm family!" He glanced at your bleeding form, and his heart clenched seeing the string ring on your finger, a bit of blood splattered over it. "I'm... I'm her husband! Asawa ko siya!"
You weren't formally or legally married yet, but to his eyes (and many of the others who knew you both), you were practically husband and wife.
"Good," the nurse said as they rushed you into the O.R., stopping Crispin from entering any further. "Sir, we need you to tell us your wife's name and her health details, please. She has to be operated on as soon as possible. We need her age, blood type, her comorbidities or allergies, if any..."
Crispin knew them all. He'd memorized them. And he told the nurses everything they needed for the operation. As long as it saved you, he'd say anything. Do anything.
"Hindi ba't sabi mo sabay tayong tatanda?"
It was a grueling operation, he could tell. Crispin had been pacing continuously in the waiting room, not even daring to sit from how anxious he was about you. Hank had come instantly to the hospital after hearing, and now there were three seated and extremely worried people watching him panic outside the operating room.
"God, please let her be okay," he continued to mumble to himself, fiddling with his fingers. "Please, please, please..."
"Kuya, umupo ka muna," Basilio tried to convince his brother.
"Oo nga," Hank frowned.
"You've been standing for five hours," Alexandra gave him a saddened look. "You should rest."
The older demigod shook his head, "I can't, bossing. Hindi pwede. Not until I know that she's okay."
As if on cue, the head surgeon came out of the operating room. Crispin nearly jolted and would have grabbed the man's collar had it not been for Alex and his brother holding him back, calming him down. No one could tell what he was about to say until he removed his surgical mask.
The four occupants waited for his response, antsy. The tension in the room was so thick it could be cut with a knife.
"Doc? Is she okay? Is she gonna be alright?" Crispin asked, troubled out of his mind. Alex's grip on his arm tightened, and so did Basilio's hold on his shoulder. "Doc, please say somethi—"
"... I'm sorry," the surgeon shook his head, a somber look on his face.
It was like the universe stopped for the demigod. The two people holding him were the only ones to support him when his knees buckled.
"We did everything we could. She lost too much blood, and the bullets hit too many vital organs," the doctor explained forlornly. "We performed CPR and a cardiac massage on her for thirty minutes, but she did not make it through the rest of the operation."
The words just echoed emptily through Crispin's ears.
"Bakit bigla ka na lang nandiyan sa kabilang buhay?"
When he entered the morgue alone, he didn't know why but he was expecting you to be sitting up and smiling, almost hearing your teasing voice telling him it was all a cruel prank. At first, that was what he saw. He saw the love of his life, soft skin flushed and curled up lips filled with so much love directed at him. He saw you radiant—glowing; that familiar twinkle in your magnificent eyes. He reached out to hold your left hand, awaiting its warmth.
Awaiting the three taps.
The taps that would tell him "I love you" and "I'm okay".
Crispin even waited a minute. Maybe you were still there, hanging on. Maybe... just maybe... you were fighting.
"Mahal?" he croaked out, squeezing your hand.
"Paano na ang lahat? Paano na ako, tayo?"
Those three taps never came. One minute. Five minutes. Ten minutes.
Only then did he really see you. The illusion all came crashing down.
Now your skin was so cold. So lifeless. So... opposite from what you were when you were alive. You were pale. Your lips were tinted blue. You were so still. So deathly still. Not one movement.
It freaked him out.
He couldn't believe it was you on that metal table—it didn't look like you. Where was the halo he always saw around your head? Where was that beam of light following you around?
His rose-tinted glasses suddenly became grey and dull. Taking your left hand, Crispin felt his heart shatter even more when his hand brushed the string ring on your finger. They had cleaned you up and made sure there was no blood left on your body, but nothing could remove those tiny, miniscule splatters that stained the string.
Remnants of what happened today.
You never did remove it. Even when showering or swimming or washing the dishes, you'd joked to him.
"See? 'Di ko nga kailangan ng singsing. Mas maganda pa nga 'to, eh. I can wear it all the time! Matibay pa!"
Crispin could nearly hear you, but it was all just a memory in his mind. God, he didn't want to forget your voice. Your laughter. Your cries. You whispering to him how much you loved him. He couldn't. He wouldn't be able to forgive himself if he did.
Both of you didn't even get to say "I love you" one last time. But reality was harsh, and this wasn't a movie where the leading characters could have a lengthy monologue confessing to each other as the dramatic scene was drawn out from seconds into minutes.
There were no camera angles, no music, no time left, and no happy endings. Everything was raw. Real.
"Hindi ba't sinabi mo sa akin na sabay tayong mangangarap?"
"Mahal," his voice trembled as he held your icy hand to his lips, kissing it. "Huwag mo akong iwan. What about us? Our dreams? Andami pa nating pangarap, 'di ba? Mga gustong gawin?"
No response.
"Tatatanda pa tayo, 'di ba? Bibili pa tayo ng bahay na nasa bundok... then we'll travel the world together, right? We've... We've saved up half of the funds! You... You can't leave now..."
Silence.
Crispin felt tears dripping down his face. He hadn't noticed he was crying. Only with you could he be a sniveling mess—around the others, he always had to be the kuya. The responsible one. The oldest one. The loyal bodyguard.
With you? He could be anything and you would never judge him.
Even when you were dead, he was still a sniveling mess in your arms.
"Sabi mo gusto mong manalo sa lotto," he choked out, cupping your cheeks. It was so strange to him; how colorless they were compared to how... spirited you were in life. "I'll do that... I'll make that happen. Just please... please come back to me. Gagawin ko ang lahat... bumalik ka sa akin, mahal. Mahal..."
Crispin told himself nothing was impossible when a god loved someone, yet now all this god could do was be paralyzed by his despair.
"Bakit bigla kang lumisan nang hindi man lang nagpaalam?"
They say there are five stages of grief. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. People don't talk enough about how they weren't actually stages. They were just five emotions and there was no particular order they came in. They would come and go, and that was how dealing with loss really was.
Today, as he was cradling his departed soulmate and the only woman he knew he'd ever love this much—reduced to tears while nursing his broken heart—he was feeling denial, bargaining, and depression all at once.
Only then did he allow himself to feel anger—just pure, unadulterated fury—when Alexandra let him and his brother unleash their bloodlust to the guilty aswang clan that had been the culprits of the mall shooting. The bank robbery.
He had his vengeance.
The son of the wargod nearly became a god of war that night, coming home soaked in the same crimson that dripped off his guns. He swore to himself he'd rip the world apart for you and build it back from scratch. Thus, Crispin was merciless to those who murdered you and all those other innocent humans.
He took his time watching the life dissipate out of their eyes, especially since he didn't see yours before you died. They were already closed when he got to the hospital too late.
Denial, anger, bargaining, and depression. He'd felt all that as time passed, on and off.
Acceptance? That last stage? That last emotion? Crispin never did really get to that point. Perhaps he would. Perhaps he wouldn't. Only more time would tell.
"Isang malamig na hangin ang yumakap sa akin."
The demigod sat under the tree that shaded your gravestone, a bouquet of white and red roses beside him while he relaxed on the grass. It was a classic symbol of true and everlasting love. That was the vow you'd made to one another, right?
December 1st.
It had been one year since your death. Wasn't it funny how the fates worked? Two years ago, on this very day, you two promised each other that you'd be together forever. He said that this day would be memorable to him until the day he died because technically, it was your engagement slash informal wedding anniversary.
Then one year ago, you had been shot trying to protect a child from those armed aswang. You saved the kid, alright. Crispin even made sure that the little boy, one of the lucky survivors of the shooting, wouldn't be targeted by the aswang. He ensured your sacrifice wouldn't be in vain. But what was supposed to be a marriage anniversary turned into your death anniversary.
December 1st.
The day would indeed be eternally ingrained into his mind.
But now, he could only dwell on nostalgia as he crouched and cleaned your gravestone, polishing it after removing all the grass and dirt. Engraved on it were the words beloved friend, sister, and wife.
Wife.
He really should have married you before you were declared dead. It didn't matter now; you would always be his wife, even in death.
On the left side of your gravestone was his mother's tombstone. He did the same, cleaning it and polishing it. When he was done, he tapped your gravestone thrice, "Una na ako, mahal. Paalam din, Ma. Baka hanapin pa ako ni bossing."
Tap. Tap. Tap.
He jerked, swerving around and standing up. He swore someone just touched his shoulder and—
Whoosh!
"Parang isang pahiwatig na magpapaalam ka na."
A gentle breeze came from behind him, where the tree was. Once more, he turned around.
Crispin didn't know what to do.
He thought he was dreaming, but he wasn't. He knew he wasn't. Not with the way your hand rested on his cheek. Not with how warm you felt.
Despite seeming almost transparent, you looked absolutely radiant, more so than when you were in life. If he was biased before about you having a halo and a beam of light following you around, now he wasn't (because you really did have a golden circle on your head and a candescent glow behind you).
You didn't speak, but again, you tapped your index finger thrice on his cheek. He was too stunned to react to the featherlight touch you had. It was almost nothing, but it was there. A ghostly tap, tap, tap.
"... Mahal?" he whispered.
You joyfully beamed at him (God, did you look divine), then planted a fragile kiss on his lips. You settled down on the roots of the tree and patted the patch of grass beside it. He sat down slowly. When he did, he removed his black gloves while you intertwined your hand with his.
On his left ring finger was a string ring made from that old shirt of yours. The same one you improvised your string ring from. It was how Crispin always remembered you and how he brought your memory everywhere with him.
Tap. Tap. Tap.
The triple tapping. Perhaps it was your way of wordlessly saying you loved him while simultaneously bidding him goodbye as a ghost. He didn't know. You couldn't speak (or he couldn't hear you), so you did what you could.
Tap. Tap. Tap.
Just that gesture every once in a while as you quietly listened to him tell you about his day.
When he had to leave, he saw you there by the tree, sitting and waving at him. The next time he came to visit, you were there. Always there, waiting.
And when you weren't, after a couple of decades, Crispin knew that it was time for him to let you go.
To let himself move on.
But that didn't mean he stopped hurting or stopped loving you. He could never stop loving you. Never.
Kahit kailangan ka niyang bitawan upang makapagpatuloy ka sa kabilang buhay, habangbuhay kang minahal ng isang diyos ng digmaan.
× AUTHOR'S NOTE ×
Nasa mood kasi akong manakit ng tao (because ngayon ko lang pinanood ang mga pelikula ni Rico Yan & Claudine Barretto after his death; ang pait eh, right person but wrong time). Medyo sadista pala ako, haha. Ayun, pati ako umiiyak habang nagsusulat nito. Even when I was showering, I was still crying and blowing my nose out. Sana nagustuhan niyo kasi pati author niyo nasaktan sa ginawa niya. 🥲😅
And that tapping gesture was inspired by a random Reddit post I saw years ago. As someone whose love language ain't saying stuff out loud, that just really called out to me. Acts of service kasi akin, eh.
Anyways, I finished writing this at like, 12AM. I'll just edit the typos and errors tomorrow because I want to get this oneshot off my chest. Goodnight! 😂💤

Ed's Sea Cred (Part 7)
Izzy peers out over the waters, squinting a bit through the light fog starting to roll in. The ships are catching up quickly, a couple hours away at the most. Maybe the cover of late evening will help them get away, but he doubts it. The sails are bright, pristine white, like a fucking idiot would have them be, so they'll reflect light like they're the moon itself.
"Can't this bucket go any faster?" Izzy demands, looking at the nearest useless lump of skin and grime. It happens to be the large Irish one. He thinks he's Irish, anyway, but he doesn't fucking care enough to think on it.
"Not unless you want t' dump the marmalade," the (Irish? Irish) man says. "Cap'in would have your head for it."
"Fuckin' marmalade?"
"Dumped some of our gunpowder for it."
"Fuckin'... twat."
"But he reads us bedtime stories, so it evens out, kinda," the man says, wiggling his hand in a 'so-so' kind of gesture.
Izzy goes back to squinting through the fog. "I need to get off this fuckin' ship."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Least the fog will make it dramatic," Black Pete says, gaing out at the sea. "Right babe?"
"Let's not think about that right now, babe. 'Cause you know, we might die."
Black Pete snorts. "Right. And I'll decide to settle down at a seaside cottage."
"I wouldn't mind that." Lucius leans against his much shorter boyfriend. "There'd be a lot less blood. I could read you bedtime stories."
"No offense, babe, but you can't do the voices half as well as Captain."
"I know. But I also don't almost cry every time a character gets killed in the stories, so. Smoother readings." He kisses Pete, and looks over at the door to the insides of the ship. "They've both been down there for a while."
"Maybe we're going to have some new crew members. It'd be kinda nice. That Ed guy seems fucking badass."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"You ever feel trapped?" Ed says, running his fingers of the spine of his book. "Like you're just treading, water waiting to drown?"
Stede blinks at him through booze-hazed eyes. "I have felt that, yes." His words are a bit slurred and thick, and Ed guesses his thought are the same way. "All the time."
"Yeah?"
"It's not so fun being feared," Stede sighs. "People see the flag and simply give up. Surrender. And it's great for avoiding bloodshed, but it's also isolating. Everyone runs, and when they don't they die. It's hard to connect with anyone when those are the only two choices. Even with my crew, there's distance."
Ed flexes his hands, the phantom feeling of rope cutting into his palms and the faint sound of choking and gasping echoing in his ears. "I was a servant."
"Really?" Sede looks at him like it just doesn't make sense. "You? But you're so... so..."
"Fuckin' scary?"
"Maybe. Why do you mention it?"
"Do you know what made me most... uncomfortable, with the people I served? They thought they were separate from us. Like they weren't humans in the same way."
Stede sighs again. "It's hard not to feel like that sometimes. I'm like a ghost, Ed. A story about fabrics and vengeance and blood. One of the pictures in your book shows knives hidden in every ruffle. It's just decorative!" Stede reaches over and toys with the ruffled neck of Ed's shirt. "See? Just for style!"
Ed plays with a ruffles a bit himself. "Point is, mate, maybe the distance is just sort of inevitable."
"But I try! I read them stories. I throw gunpowder out in favor of marmalade, so they can good food! I'm caring, responsive to their needs!"
"Yeah, well, maybe that's the problem, man. They're pirates. Maybe it feels like, I dunno, you're talking down to them."
"You think?"
"Maybe."
Stede sits up. "Will you teach me, then?"
"... What?"
"Teach me how to be... one of the guys! Your crew seem to think of you sort of like that!"
"I don't know, mate, it-it's a bit more complicated than that. Half of the ones on the boat think I'm insane."
"All of my crew think I'm too fragile to disagree with," Stede presses. "Teach me how to be a cool, leather-wearing pirate! Teach me how to make people like me! How to make them look and think, 'Oh, here comes that cool captain we've been hearing about!'"
The Gentleman Pirate, groveling at Ed's metaphorical feet, pleading. And Ed's dared to imagine this before, but with a blade to the famous pirate's throat, and a smirk on his own face, and his crew ransacking the famed Revenge while he claims the title of the Most Fearsome Pirate for himself.
Looking into Stede's bright, hopeful, desperate eyes, he knows he could never do such a thing.
"Okay," Ed says slowly. "I'll help you with that... if you help me build my reputation."
"Like... like a trade?"
"Yeah. Like a trade. You'll be liked, and I'll be feared."
Stede grips Ed's hands, eyes as bright as a lighthouse. "It's a deal!"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Can barely see the fucking Spanish anymore," Frenchie says, trying his best to peer through the fog. "How'll we know they're coming?"
"The smell of tapas?" Roach suggests. "It's like catnip to Spaniards."
"Cat's don't grow catnip, though," Wee John points out. "They just come to it. For your thing to work we'd have to be making tapas."
"But that would attract them to us!"
"I'm not saying we do do it, I'm saying we would."
"No-one goes into my kitchen!"
"I'm not saying I will!"
"Shut your fuckin' mouths!" Izzy screams.
Everyone quiets for a moment, and in that moment, Stede and Ed step back onto the deck. Stede's eyes widen. "When did all this fog get here?!"
"Around sunset, Cap'in," Buttons declares, staring out across the sea. "It's gettin' thicker by the second, as well."
"We'll never be able to navigate in this," Stede frets.
Ed gives him a sideways glance, a smile in his eyes. "Neither will they."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stede has no idea what the feeling in his chest is when Ed gives him that look, or when he realizes what Ed has done. But it's a good feeling, all-encompassing and stifling and sweet, like a physical sensation blocking up his chest and he likes it.
"You knew this would happen," he says, and he's sure his voice is dripping with the same thing his chest has filled with, whatever it is. "... How?"
Ed hops up onto the wheel in the center of the ship, crossing his legs. "Quite simple, really," he says in an oddly endearingly smug voice. "The color of the sky coupled with the brisk westerly winds made me think we'd be safe. And then the shape of the clouds-"
"The frankfurters!" Stede wonders at the fact he can still breathe.
"The frankfurters," Ed confirms.
"But we're still right in their path, ain't we Karl?" Buttons points out, and the seagull squawks (presumably in agreement). "We'll run straight into them."
"Normally. But tonight is a full moon, so the natural currents can carry us safely out of their path."
The crew erupts into applause, and Ed hops down. He pulls Stede to the side, grinning. "And that, mate, is the first lesson."
"What?"
"To making people like you."
And, looking into Ed's eyes, Stede is certain he picked the best possible teacher.

Part of my Seasonal Requests Special - Winter Edition.
a/n: This was so much fun to write. Oh and it's a full-blown scenario. Whoops. This was requested by my best friend: @ithilinne Honestly I hope you find it as funny as I do, lol. ❄️❤️❄️❤️I enjoy writing bickering so much, it's fun! Plus, dude. Hyunjin. Do I need to say more? I hope you like it !❤️
❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄
“I'm totally getting drunk tonight.” you exclaimed in annoyance, helping Felix to put some snacks on the table. “Mind telling me why?”, your friend asked grabbing some of the alcohol bottles he had in his cupboards, to place them near the snacks. “Dude, I'm studying like crazy. My life's basically books.”, you groaned, while placing down cups, “but apparently I'm not good enough to get in the top rankings. But guess who is? Hyunjin. Again!”, frustration swang in your voice, as you spoke about your long-time rival.
“He's not even studying!”, you added, throwing your arms in the air. Felix chuckled next to you, a grin gracing his face. “You really need to let off some steam.”, he said, making you roll your eyes at him. “I don't have time for such distraction.”, you hissed and looked at the clock, pretty sure that your friends will arrive soon to your small gathering.
“I don't even get why you're so annoyed by Hyunjin. We're in the same group of friends after all. And I honestly think you two would hit it off-”, you stopped Felix in his sentence, putting a hand on his mouth to keep it silent for a second.
“He annoys me because he doesn't study and is still beating me in every single seminar. That's fucking unfair. Plus, he is arrogant and annoying.”, you muttered, a sigh leaving your lips as you waited for the doorbell to finally ring. If you were being totally honest, you weren't even sure why exactly Hyunjin was taking your last nerve. Maybe it was the way he always grinned at you in that stupid cheeky way whenever you had to take an exam. Or maybe how he always asked about the rankings in the group chat – even though he were perfectly aware of the fact that he was better than you. Every. Single. Time. But maybe it was how he always tried to tease you every chance he got. And maybe – just maybe, because he was ridiculously good-looking for being such a pain in the ass.
When the doorbell finally rang you rushed out of the kitchen, hearing Felix laugh behind you. The first person who greeted you was your best friend, two bottles of eggnog in her arms. “Damn, you do know what I need.”, you chuckled as you hugged her. “I always do, love.”, she winked and pecked your cheek before disappearing in the kitchen, greeting Felix. The rest of the group just walked in after her, greeting you with hugs and even more booze. Last but not least, Hyunjin entered the door and grinned at you. “Just saw the new rankings.”, he clicked his tongue, sighing at you while walking past you, “I'm still at number one.”, he whispered into your ear, before entering the kitchen as well, leaving you behind. Ass.
You felt Felix's eyes on you as soon as you entered the kitchen as he handed you a glass of eggnog. “Exactly what I need.”, you mumbled and took the cup, taking big sips, enjoying the sweet flavour on your tongue.
“I honestly thought I might fail that one sociology exam. I swear, I didn't study a bit.”, you heard Hyunjin brag to Minho but you clearly saw how he looked at you with that stupid grin on his stupidly beautiful lips. “Yeah, right.”, you snorted before rolling your eyes at him, taking another sip from your drink, trying to keep you sane. “I'm sure you'll be better than me the next time.”, he said, shrugging his shoulders before chuckling.
“You know what's better than sex?”, your best friend whispered in your ear, making you jump slightly as you didn't even hear her appearing next to you. “Angry sex. Letting off some steam, you know.”, she added, wiggling her brows at you. You rolled your eyes as hard as humanly possible and grabbed a second cup full of eggnog after already finishing the first one.
Your eyes wandered over to Hyunjin, who casually leaned against the wall, talking to Minho and Felix. He wore his longer blonde hair in a loose ponytail, messy strands of hair falling down on his shoulders in soft waves. You let your gaze continue to wander over his figure, how his black leather pants hugged his figure and how his fitted shirt showed off his upper body. “I'm telling you.”, your friend whispered still right by your side, obviously following your gaze, “If I were single, you know.”, you freed your gaze from Hyunjin's figure and looked at her brown eyes, which winked at you. “God, stop it. He's arrogant and annoying.”, you sighed, before biting your tongue. You looked up for a second, just to meet Hyunjin's gaze, which nonchalantly eyed you just the way you did with him, before a mild grin appeared on his face and he looked back to his friends. Damn it.
An hour later you were peacefully munching on some crackers your friend handed you between your cups of eggnog. “Oh wow, I see an empty cup and that's a crime!”, you heard Felix say, dramatically putting his hand on his heart to show his shock. “I already had-”, you started your sentence, but Felix interrupted you, “Nonsense! You need more!”, and before you could protest he filled your cup and chuckled as soon as you took your first sip.
You started to feel the warmth inside of you, leaving you all fuzzy. For a moment you felt like your mind wasn't about studying and grades, which you enjoyed to the fullest. You let your eyes wander through the room, watching how your friend was nuzzled against Chan's arm, while talking to him and how Minho tried to play Jenga against Changbin but lost for the third time in a row, which let the boys around them laugh out loudly. You chuckled, watching how he pouted and said that Changbin was probably cheating or else he wouldn't be able to win. Your eyes searched for Felix and maybe even for Hyunjin - which you would obviously never admit in a sober state of mind, but you couldn't see either of them.
As your bladder was filled with alcohol you naturally needed to go to the bathroom for a moment. Staying in front of the sink you checked your Make-Up you put on fro the night, after washing your hands. You slowly turned your face from side to side, checking if everything was still set and looking okay-ish. You left the bathroom with a small smile on your lips, heading through the floor until you suddenly had to stop in your tracks as Hyunjin nearly ran into you.
“Oh sorry, didn't see you there.”, he said with a small chuckle. You rolled your eyes. “Yeah.”
“You look really pretty tonight.”, you heard him say and for a second you thought you lost your ability to breath. ´”What?”, you asked furrowing your brows. “I said, that you look really pretty tonight.”, he repeated calmly.
“So I'm usually ugly?”, you snorted back at him.
“No. You actually look pretty every day but especially tonight.”, he answered, scratching the back of his head.
“Yeah, stop making fun of me, idiot.”, you rolled your eyes, wanting to go back to the others but your legs just didn't want to move.
“I'm not making fun of you-”, he started.
“Seriously, shut up, Hyunjin.”, you interrupted his sentence, “Honestly, you're an arrogant and annoying ass.”, you snorted, feeling how the booze in your system made you feel way more confident than you used to be.
“What annoys you about me?”, he asked you while moving a step closer to you.
“Everything. Your teasing and always being better than me, without actually studying.”, you started but you felt how your voice got just a tad shakier when you felt him shifting in front of you.
“Honestly, it's unfair. Would be easier you if you weren't that hot.”, you said before even realizing what words left your mouth. The alcohol in your system not even letting you feel ashamed over what you said.
Hyunjin chuckled in front of you. “Did you just call me hot?”, he asked but you shook your head.
“Nope. That's the eggnog speaking. Not me.”, you laughed and tried to focus your eyes on anything else beside his body who was moving dangerously close to yours.
“Ah, bummer.”, he sighed in front of you, “would be great if it were you speaking.”, he added and a small smile graced his lips.
“Why?”, you asked, your eyes finally able to actually look at his.
“Well, because I wouldn't feel stupid for saying that I actually think you're attractive, too.”, he chuckled once more.
“What?” you asked, completely dumbfounded, not quite sure if you're brain was even able to process this conversation.
“Jeez, I'm kinda confessing here. Would you mind meeting me halfway here?”, he sighed. At first you were annoyed but as soon as you saw his lips turn into a small smile you just blinked at him, realizing that he maybe wasn't even making fun of you at all.
“Hyunjin.”, you said slowly, “You're annoying. And arrogant.”, you said, replying what just came out of your mouth minutes ago.
“Yeah, you already said that. Thank you, by the way. It's not like I was complimenting you or anything.”, he responded.
“Annoying. Arrogant. Stupid.”, you whispered, while staring at Hyunjins face, your eyes wandering over every of his features. His deep brown eyes, with that small mole under his left one.
His small nose and those perfectly shaped, stupid lips on which your gaze rested for a couple seconds. You secretly wondered how they would actually feel on yours. You wanted to know how the fabric of his shirt felt under your hands and his bare skin under your fingertips. You needed to know how it felt like, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him towards you and how it would feel to have his slender hands on your body.
“I'm curious.”, you whispered as you moved closer to him until you could feel his breath on you cheek. Your eyes wandered back to his, which were locked on you. You felt how one of his hands cupped your cheek, his thumb softly running over your bottom lip, leaving you with goosebumps. Your breath quickened, when you let your hand rest on his chest, feeling his heart beating rapidly in his chest. You let your hand wander up over his shoulder to let it rest on his neck, until you slowly pulled him closer to you until your lips finally connected with his.
They were soft and tasted sweet like eggnog, gently moving against yours in perfect sync. Your other hand joined the one already resting on his neck, pressing him even closer to you, which made him smile softly into the kiss. Hyunjin's hands wandered down your back, until they rested on your hips. Chills went down your spine, warmth slowly spreading through your body which wasn't coming from the alcohol. It felt like you were finally doing that one thing your body and heart told you to do so many times but you never gave in - until now.
Just when you thought about how good it actually felt to kiss him, he moved his lips away from yours, his eyes looking at yours.
“Curiosity satisfied?”, he whispered. You looked at him for a moment, letting your hands wander over the fabric of his shirt until you let them rest on his chest. Your hands shortly continued their way over his arms, until your hands were over his, which were still resting on your hips. He let you intertwine your fingers with his, leaving you in complete control over the situation. You looked over his face again, feeling an urge to just place a kiss on his skin, so you placed them on his neck for a quick second, leaving soft, quick kisses on his jawline and his cheek. “Not quite.”, you whispered back at him, before pressing your lips on his again but this time you wanted more, you needed more, completely unbothered by the fact that you were still standing in the floor of your apartment at a party.
His lips were just as soft as before, slowly moving against yours, making you hum. You wrapped your arms around his neck again, his arms now gently around your waist, pressing you closer to his body to eliminate the air between them. You had to admit, kissing Hyunjin felt amazing. Like something you've wanted and waited for. You enjoyed how gentle he was, even when he smoothly let his tongue slip into your mouth for a moment, deepening the kiss, leaving your body with goosebumps all over again. Even now, he let you take control, kissing in your own tempo and exactly how you wanted and needed it.
He let you wander your hands over his upper body, exploring the softness of his skin. You wanted to touch every inch of his body, the urge to feel him nearly overwhelming you. Between all the teasing and glancing, all the cheeky grins and smirks you were curious. Curious how it would feel to feel that pretty mouth of his on yours.
You enjoyed the physical sensation, how his hands gently stroke your back, until they reached for your head, holding you tightly. You were surprised about the gentleness of his hands, about the way he touched you.
“More.”, you whispered between kisses, feeling how Hyunjin smiled against your lips. You lightly dug your fingers in his neck, connecting your lips again, feeling how his tongue entered your mouth once more. This time, you felt more pressure behind his kiss, as if he waited for you to allow him to do so. His hands slid down the sides of your torso, sending chills over yogr body, before resting on your hips. You felt how his grip tightened a little bit more and you smirked before grinding your body against his. A small gasp escaped his mouth and you wondered what other sounds you could possible coax out of it. You could feel how his kisses increased in intensity, his lips always connecting with yours, his tongue gently playing with yours. You needed to know what sinful things those lips were able to do.
“Oh my God. Finally!”, you jumped away from Hyunjin, heart beating rapidly in your chest, as soon as you heard Felix yelling from the other side of the floor. “Jeez, this took way too long.”, he added and sighed in relief. Another head popped up next to him, belonging to your best friend, which raised a fist and smiled.
“Dude, I said eggnogg is the solution!” you stared at the two of them while listening to some excited screams from the kitchen as soon as the others saw you, too.
“You owe me a 20, Minho!”, your best friend screamed back at the kitchen and started to laugh. “I swear, I made like a hundred bucks tonight.”. She looked at you and Hyunjin, giving you a cheeky smile. “Anyway, we don't want to disturb you two any longer so we will be hanging out in the kitchen.”, she wiggled her brows, “with the doors closed and music playing so please, continue.”
Felix laugh halls through the floor before he turned around and closed the door to the kitchen behind the group, leaving you alone with Hyunjin again.
“Not awkward at all.”, you whispered to Hyunjin, whose arm was around your waist. You looked at each other and immediately started laughing together at the absurdness of the whole situation.
“I can't believe they actually made bets with money,”, he responded, placing a soft kiss on your temple. You smiled, closing your eyes for a moment.
“So, what do you wanna do now?”, you asked him, looking at his twinkling eyes.
“Continue?”, he answered with a grin before wrapping both of his arms around you again, and placing his lips on yours once more.

Bubble Wrapped - Part 3
Word Count: 4,279
POV: Reader
Warnings: Same as always, Language, Smut, NSFW, Please see the note in the Masterlist
Teams: Bruins, Caps, Flyers, Lightning and Pens
Notes: Ok so we’re moving on to part 3. Feel free to send me in suggestions for things that you’d like to see happen in the Bubble. Also a few people have mentioned our reader having a love interest in the end, feel free to tell me who you think it should be. I love hearing from your guys. Happy Reading!
If day two went anything like day one you had your work cut out for you in more ways than one. You woke up early and got ready, grabbing a quick breakfast in the kitchen that was part of your suite. Heading down to the lobby, you found that everything was going according to schedule and that breakfast seemed to be going fine and there had been no food fight incidents like last night's dinner. All in all, the morning went pretty well. A lot of the teams had practice or went to at least check out the rink and there was very minimal interaction between them. Lunch went just as smoothly, with only a few minor problems here in there that needed your attention.
By three o'clock you headed up to your suite to eat your lunch the kitchen had prepared and rest your feet a bit. You tossed your blazer off and grabbed a fork, sitting down on the sofa to eat the avocado quinoa salad chef had made you. Barely three bites in, your phone rang. "Hey Car, what's up?"
"I hate to bug you, but Logan said there's a problem at the pool. He said it's urgent."
"Did he say what it was?" Dropping the salad on the coffee table you grabbed your keys and headed to the roof.
"Nope, just that he needed someone up there right away."
Your suite had a private staircase to the pool and you took the steps two at a time, hoping that Ovechkin wasn't throwing anyone off the rooftop pool. "I'm already on my way. Thanks, Car."
"Keep me posted," Carly said before ending the call. You burst through the door expecting a disaster but finding the place pretty calm. There were some players in the pool and even more lounging around on the chairs. It was definitely a mixed crowd, with some Bruins, Bolts, and Capitals there, but they seemed to either not be interacting or actually being friendly with each other. Scanning the pool deck, you looked for Logan but noticed more eyes on you than anything else. You finally saw him, over by the towel bin.
"Logan, what seems to be the problem?"
He was visibly flustered and yet you couldn't see why. "I…I ran out…I ran…"
"Oh for godsakes spit it out."
"I ran out of towels." You blinked a few times thinking that with his mask on you'd not heard him correctly. That's when you realized you didn't have a mask on as you'd been eating when you ran out of the room, but really with everyone being tested daily and no one coming in and out of the bubble, you were fairly safe. Still, you took a step back just so that there would definitely be six feet between you and Logan. It was probably for his safety as well, because running out of towels was not an urgent matter and you really wanted to cuff him upside the head.
"So call housekeeping and have them bring some up."
"Oh yeah right." You rolled your eyes. Logan was not someone you wanted on your team in this bubble life, but you'd had no choice as your bosses told you he had to be there. Pulling out your phone, you made the call yourself down to housekeeping; who said they would be right up.
"Ok, now that's done. Is there anything else you need?" You tried to be patient, but you could see Brad Marchand laughing at the exchange between you and your co-worker. You glared back him, hoping to silence him especially after all the chaos he'd helped cause last night, but he just cocked his head at you, as if the look you gave him meant nothing.
"Well, I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do up here," Logan said bringing your thoughts back to work.
"It's simple Logan, pick up the towels, put them in the bin, make sure it doesn't overflow." Like it currently was you wanted to add. "And call housekeeping if you need more." You'd thought you'd given him the easiest job at the hotel, but obviously, you'd need to rethink things if he couldn't handle this.
"Right, right." He said shaking his head franticly. Housekeeping came up then with a huge stack of towels and you motioned for him to go get them, though he didn't register your meaning right away. Just as Logan went to turn to get them, Marchand came by, walking between the two of you. If you hadn't felt it, you would've never noticed the light push he gave you, making you stumble and lose your balance, sending you directly into the pool.
You surfaced the water sputtering. "Well, that son of a…"
"Are you ok?" Strong arms came around you and carried you over to the side, even though you could stand in the water.
"Yeah, I'm…ouch!" you went to get your footing and noticed a pain shoot up from your ankle but also your shoe felt a little funny.
"Don't try to stand on it." He moved you so that you were face to face and you finally recognized your rescuer as Jake Debrusk from the Boston Bruins. "Here wrap your legs around me and I'll take you to the side of the pool." Although you found yourself doing as he asked, you realized you weren't that far from the edge and probably could've just swum there yourself. Once you were finally there, Jake lifted you up to sit on the edge, while a few other players came around to see how you were. Well, you wanted to assume they were there to see if you were ok, but it was probably more about the fact that you were soaking wet and your silk cami was clinging to your skin, not leaving much to the imagination. Jake brought your foot up to look at it, moving your ankle in a few directions and making you wince. "I don't think it's broke, but it might be sprained." He took your high heels off and held it up. "I'm not surprised, the heel is totally broken."
"Shit, they were one of my favorites too."
"You should probably get some ice on it and elevate it," Jake told you, and you realized how cute he was. He had a smile that reached from ear to ear, and a voice that you could listen to for hours on end, which he probably got from his dad.
"You're probably right. Do you think you could help me down to my room?" I mean if you were going to have to stay off your feet for a little bit; you might as well make it worth your while. The grin that was on his face got a little wider.
"Yea…"
"It's ok I got her." A voice from behind you said, and Jake's face fell. You could tell he was going to argue but the person continued. "You're soaking wet, she doesn't need that mess in her room." Jake simply nodded.
"Yeah, you're right Charlie. You should take her." Well, you had a one in two shot, on who it was going to be, either McAvoy or Coyle. Craning your neck, you tried to see which is was, but the sun was bright and blinded your vision. They scooped you up before you could even think about shielding your eyes, and the next thing you knew you were face to face with Charlie Coyle. Jake was cute, there was no denying that, but he also seemed a little too innocent; whereas Charlie, well, there was something intriguing about him. You couldn't quite put your finger on it just yet.
Charlie headed to the elevators, with you in his arms. "What floor are you on?"
"Twenty-nine," you answered and he cocked his head realizing that you were in the penthouse suite. "One of my perks for being stuck here running this place."
"Not such a bad perk." The doors no sooner closed than they were opening back up again and you were fishing for your key to open the room. Entering on the second floor of the two-level suite, you directed him to the bedroom. "You should probably get out of these wet clothes." You cocked your head at his suggestion. "No need to get a cold and all. People will think you've got COVID or something." He tried to add hoping to sound helpful.
"Can't have people thinking that," you agreed. "The bathroom's that way. I could use a towel." He carried you into the bathroom, then set you down on the small stool, that you'd gotten for the vanity. He made no move to leave and you had to chuckle to yourself, as you knew exactly what was on his mind. Coyle was easy on the eyes with a soft smile. His features reminded you of Tyler for some reason, so you weren't opposed to where his thoughts were leading. You wiggled the soaking wet camisole up your body; peeling it off and throwing it in the tub. You'd worry about getting it cleaned later.
His eyes went wide, dropping immediately to your breasts, which were only clad in a lace bra, your nipple already hard from the water and also in anticipation of things to come. "Could you help me with the skirt?" You hopped up on your good foot and twisted around so you could hold on to the counter while he unzipped the garment. You could've gotten it down easily yourself, but decided Charlie could have a little fun. He came up behind you, fingers working the zipper down, then he shimmied the wet skirt down your legs. His sharp intake of breath could be heard in the bathroom, as he took in your matching lace thong.
Charlie let his hands glide down your thighs, all the way to your calves. Once the skirt was on the floor, his hands stole around your waist, lifting you up while his feet moved the garment to the side. "Better?"
"Much, though still a little wet."
He reached for a towel, and instead of handing it to you, he patted you down with it. Starting at your shoulders, he worked his way down to your breasts. "Seems futile to have this on," he said as he pulled at your bra. You simply nodded, and his hands went and unclasped your bra before he resumed his work of drying you off. You watched him in the mirror, as he moved the towel to your front, toweling off your breasts. The cloth dropped out of his left hand and his palm covered your breast. Your breath hitched in your throat, right as we tweaked the nipple. He continued drying you with his right hand as his left toyed you with your breast. "Has anyone told you today, how beautiful you are?" He breathed the compliment in your ear and it sent a shiver down your spine.
"Not in the last few hours." You teased and he smirked at you through the mirror.
"Well, you are." His lips were on your neck then, dropping kisses all around there and then down the back of your spine. The towel followed and he dried both of your legs, gliding his hands up your inner thighs, before sliding your thong to the side and dipping his fingers between your folds. "Mmm…This spot is pretty wet."
"Well, I don't think…" You gasp as he hit that sweet spot inside you. "You're helping." The moan that left you echoed off the bathroom walls.
"You like that?" you hummed out a yes and he continued to finger your pussy; the towel completely forgotten now, as it lay on the floor. "Then maybe we should get rid of this altogether." He made swift work of ridding you of your panties and now you stood completely naked in the bathroom mirror. "Should we move back to your bedroom? I mean you really shouldn't be on that ankle."
You'd actually forgotten about the injury and now that you thought about it, your ankle didn't hurt all that much, but you weren't going to argue with moving things to a horizontal position. "Sounds like a good idea," you answered and turned as he grabbed your ass so you could wrap your legs and arms around him. His mouth came down on yours the minute he held you and he took a moment to just kiss you before making his way to the bedroom. Your hands threaded through his hair, tugging gently so he would deepen the kiss. Charlie didn't need to be told twice as his mouth devoured yours. He kissed differently than both Pasta and TK. Long sensual strokes of his tongue in your mouth; he wasn't hurried at all. When you were in the bedroom, he gently laid you down on the edge of the mattress before dropping to his knees. He propped your legs up on his shoulders, then proceeded to kiss and nibble on your inner thighs, before taking his tongue and licking between your folds. "Oh," you moaned out as he started to eat you out. His mouth worked it's magic on you, flicking across your clit, before his fingers spread you and he could thrust his tongue inside. Your hands played with your nipples and you could feel the smirk on his face as he looked up at you from his spot between your legs. His mouth left you, only for a second to be replaced by his fingers and you groaned out in pleasure.
"Does that feel good babe?" and you hummed your approval. "I can make you feel much better." His mouth was back on you then sucking on your clit. It threw you over the edge and your hips bucked up into this mouth. Charlie's free arm pressed against your hips to hold you still as he worked you through your orgasm. His fingers slowed as you came down from your high. "You're fucking beautiful when you cum." Your body was already flush from your climax, so thankfully he didn't notice the blush that his words gave you, as he crawled up your body. He'd already shed his swim trunks but hadn't removed your juices from his lips as his mouth connected to yours.
The kiss caught you off guard, or maybe it was just the fact that you were still on a euphoric high from your orgasm, but as soon as you recovered, you pushed at Charlie's chest for him to roll onto his back. He went easily and you kissed your way down his body as he made himself comfortable against the pillows. His cock was rock hard and pressed up against his stomach. You bypassed it at first, letting your hands lightly skate up and down his thighs before licking up the length of his dick. He sucked in a breath as his hands slid into your locks, not pressuring you to take him in your mouth, but urging you to, and so you did. Taking just the head between your lips, you swirled your tongue around. "Fuck babygirl, your mouth feels like heaven." Slowly you sank down on him, taking him deep in your throat. His hips flexed up into you slightly and you gagged a little but recovered quickly, sucking him in and out of your mouth. You hollowed out your cheeks sucking hard on him and he moaned. You let one hand toy with his balls, as you bobbed up and down on his cock. They tightened under your touch, and you knew it wouldn't take much more to make him cum. It was shortly after that, that he pulled you off him. "Can we…?" He tried to catch his breath before starting over. "Would you…?"
"Fuck me, Charlie." You spit out as you wiped the back of your hand across your face. He grabbed you under the arms and hauled your body up to his so that you lay on top of him. You straddled your legs around his hips, his cock nestled between your pussy lips and you rocked back and forth; his dick getting coated with your wetness.
He grabbed your hips and stopped your teasing. "Fuck (Y/N), I need inside you." Reaching down he took his cock and lined it up with your entrance, then thrust fully inside you. He wasn't huge, but you still enjoyed the familiar stretch that having a cock inside you brought. It took a few minutes while you both adjusted, but then you started to ride his cock. His one hand guided your hip, helping you set a steady rhythm, while his other played with your breasts, tweaking and pinching your nipples. You threw you head back at the combination of being filled by Charlie and what he was doing with your tits. "So, fucking beautiful." He breathed out, then flexed his hips up into you. You rode him for a bit before he flipped your positions and you were suddenly underneath him and he pumped furiously in and out of your pussy. "Gonna cum for me again babygirl." You were close as you felt your orgasm building but didn't know if you would get there in this position with him. You snuck your hand between your bodies to play with your clit. "That's so hot. Yeah baby cum for me." It wasn't long and you felt your legs start to tremble as the orgasm worked its way through your body. The wave came crashing down on you and your pussy quivered around his cock. He thrust a few more times before pushing deep inside you one last time; the muscles in his neck straining as he came inside you, calling out your name. He took a second to catch his breath, then quickly pecked your lips before rolling onto his back. "You're fucking amazing." He finally breathed out.
"You were pretty fantastic yourself," you echoed back as you rolled on your side. "One thing though," he looked over, a look of contentment on his face. "How the hell do you know my name?" You knew him of course, that was part of your job, but you weren't wearing your credentials when you'd gone up to the pool, because you'd been in such a hurry.
"Babe, I wouldn't forget someone as beautiful as you.' You resisted the urge to roll your eyes at the comment. It was definitely unnecessary considering that you'd already fucked him. "I'm serious, I remember when you introduced yourself yesterday. I knew I had to make it a point to get to know you. Just didn't think we'd end up here so fast, not that I'm complaining."
You were lightly tracing your nails over his chest and found yourself asking one last thing. "So is that why you totally blocked your teammate from bringing me back here, because you wanted to get to know me?"
There was a blush that stained his cheeks. "Yes and no," he rolled on his side to face you then. "Thought it would be a good opportunity and all, but he's a kid, probably would've lost his load the minute you took off your shirt. I was doing you a favor." He said with a little wink, then kissed your lips again.
You pulled away, though a bit reluctantly. "I should probably get back to work."
"Yeah I get it, you're in popular demand." You gave him a little chuckle as you knew he wasn't talking about your hotel duties. "But listen, I would like to get to know you, so call me and maybe we can chat or do other things sometime while I'm here." He rolled out of bed then and retrieved his shorts, pulling them on in one swift motion. "You sure the ankle's ok?"
"It'll be fine. I'll just wear some more comfortable shoes for the next couple of days." He leaned over the bed and kissed you one last time before heading out the door. "Talk to you soon," you said as he made his way out.
"I sure hope so."
Once he was gone, you called down to the front desk to let them know what had happened at the pool and that you'd be down shortly as soon as you grabbed a quick shower. You were just finished putting on some makeup and throwing your hair in a messy bun when your phone rang. It was a Facetime call from Tyler. "Hey baby," he said with a smile as his face popped up on the screen.
"Hey Ty, how's bubble life?"
"It fucking sucks." He was laying on his hotel bed shirtless. "I just got back from practice, but I'm bored out of my mind."
"Aww, poor baby. I feel so bad for you just laying in that hotel room with nothing and no one to do?"
"Right," he agreed a pout on his face.
"You mean to tell me you haven't charmed the pants off of some hotel server yet?"
"(Y/N), this is not your hotel. Everyone, I mean EVERYONE," he emphasized it by bringing the phone closer to his face. "Is male. Can you fucking believe that?" You couldn't help the burst of laughter that left you. "It's not that funny babe."
"Oh I beg to differ, it's hilarious." You had a hard time catching your breath from all your laughter.
"I wish I was in Toronto with you, baby. I miss you so much."
"You wouldn't be missing me if someone was there to keep you company." He always said things like this. It was just part of his natural charm and being an outrageous flirt.
"That's not true at all. I swear I tell you this all the time, yet you don't believe me." Part of you believed that he did miss you, but you thought it was only because of the amazing sex the two of you had. You'd never thought about it being anything more. "Anyhow, how're things on your end?"
"Well I had a food fight between the Bruins and the Caps on the first night, so it's been fucking fantastic."
It was his turn to laugh now. "Tell me that's why Pastrnak tweeted what he did about Wilson."
"Well not exactly, but that was the end result after the two got done playing a game of pool."
"Wait, so Wilson and Pasta were in your suite?" He frowned at the thought knowing that you'd been staying in the penthouse. "Please tell me nothing happened."
"Nothing happened." It wasn't necessarily a lie, considering all you'd done was kiss Pastrnak and promise the same to Wilson. You decided it was best to leave out what had happened between TK and Charlie just moments ago. It had sort of been an unwritten rule between you and Tyler that you didn't speak about your sexual encounters.
"Oh, good. Wilson's an ass. Did I tell you that when you called me the first time?"
"Nope, you only said that he gets around."
"Well he's an ass and you should stay away from him."
"I'll try and remember that." Even though you knew that wasn't going to be possible. "Oh, by the way, tell your friend Marchand to fuck off next time you talk to him, as he pushed me into the pool this afternoon and ruined my favorite heels."
The look on his face on was one of both contained laughter and indignation for what you went through. "Marchy can be an asshole at times, I'm sorry babe. I'll buy you new shoes to replace those."
"You don't have to do that Ty." Though it was sweet of him to offer. "I'm going to plot my revenge on him though."
"Seriously, don't get involved with him. He can be a little rat when he wants to."
"We'll see." You told him not willing to make a promise you weren't sure you could keep.
"Not to change the subject, but how's the bet going?"
"You mean the one that when I win, you'll be my sex slave." He chuckled at the mention of what you would win if you succeeded.
"Yeah, that bet."
"It's going; plans are in place." They weren't, but they would be soon.
"You know we should just scrap it." You couldn't quite read the look that crossed his face to see if he was serious or not.
"Afraid you're going to lose?"
"No, it's just…" He seemed to think about what he wanted to say. "Can't have you having all the fun."
"Consider it payback for every time you post the bat signal Seguin."
"You know it's not a bat signal. I've told you that before." He seemed to be sincere but you couldn't tell for sure.
"Whatever, I've already got a plan in place." You didn't but tomorrow was another day, and you would start then for sure. "But listen, I gotta get back to work. I'll call you later and if you're lucky I'll give you a little show."
"I'll be waiting for your call. Don't go and find someone else to play with." He teased.
"I'll try not to," you told him and swore there was a look of concern on his face, but it was quickly replaced with a smile and a wink. "Talk to you soon, Ty." You blew him a kiss before he said goodbye and hung up the phone, wondering how you were going to win that bet with him, because there was no way, that you were going to be his sex slave for a full twenty-four hours and you knew if you agree to cancel it that's exactly what you'd be doing.

Damsel, Not in Distress
Jungkook x reader, Spiderman!Jungkook, GN!Reader: one shot
:: warnings: swearing, school
Pain is temporary, GPA is forever — @finah on Twitter
I’m a Damsel with Distress, but I'm pretty fine here.
How you found yourself in the situation you’re currently in, you didn’t entirely know. Was it incredibly weird? Oh definitely. Actually, let’s go to the beginning of your day and see how you found yourself bound with rope and feeling your nihilistic attitude grow so much more.
Now it had been a relatively normal day, at first. You got out of bed a little later than what your alarm had been set to. You’d stayed up the night before to work on an assignment that wasn’t even due until the next week, but you wanted the weekend to be free so that you could relax. Still, you did leave in time to get to school without being late though, which you considered a win considering you really didn't want to be in the building.
When you got to your classes, the students were a little too loud for your sensitive ears and you wanted to just sleep the day away, but just went through the day best you could. The end of the day for you had come around pretty quick, nothing really happened, not that you’d expect anything to, but the events that would lead to you being tied up with rope started with lunch with your friends.
“(Y/n)! Over here!”
You’d been called over to a table where your usual rag tag group of misfits were, but there was an extra guy there. You recognized him as someone you'd talked to a couple times and he was pretty cute, you’d say you had a minor crush on him. His name was Jungkook, really smart guy, super sweet, kind of quiet unless he was with his friends, an all around Nice Guy, but actually a nice guy.
He didn’t look like he could hurt a fly. Oh how wrong you were.
To be honest, seeing him at your table surprised you, he was a mutual friend of yours, but it was weird seeing him in the lunch room. He was more the type to stay away from large groups of people and staying with his friends, only coming in occasionally if they were desperate for food, but you weren’t opposed to him joining the group.
“Oh hey Jungkook, hope I don’t sound like a jerk, but what’re you doin at lunch? You usually don’t come in here.”
It was a genuine question and you hoped you didn’t come off as rude, since you often didn't see him within the general vicinity of the cafeteria, to quote him from a conversation you once had asking about the same general topic: “people are gross and I would rather stub my left pinky toe than step foot in that nasty ass room.”
"Oh— Namjoon, Jin, and Yoongi had some studying to do for their exams since they have them next week, Hobi finished his classes for today and bailed, and Jimin and Tae are hanging with some of their friends in the gym. I didn't feel like tagging along this time, they were really sweaty."
He pushed his hair back as he was talking, what a cutie.
"Damn, well welcome to our little trouble group."
With that all of you ate your lunches with little pieces of banter here and there, nothing really significant to point out. Once lunch ended though, you and Jungkook headed out together since you'd started an interesting conversation about the city's Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man™.
"I don't know man, Spider-man needs a break, poor dude goes out like every day! He gets his ass beat—"
"Wow, rude—"
"He wins! I'm not saying he doesn't win! I'm just saying he gets hurt and probably doesn't have enough time to heal completely before going out the next day to deal with the next day's bullshit!"
Jungkook had to admit, this isn't how he thought the conversation would turn out. It started with you saying how you’d give your left lung to give him a hug and then it diverted into the current topic. The conversation ended once you had gotten to your apartment, and after saying goodbye Jungkook went back to his place. It was near, gotta stay close to the school to save gas money, and he thought a little about what you said. You were right, he didn't get breaks and was rarely healed up enough, even with his super regeneration. It was... nice to see some concern from someone other than Tony.
Deciding to not think too much about it, he put his stuff away and got suited up for his usual patrolling around the city. He also got ready to his favorite person, you. At some point on one of his patrols he wasn’t really paying attention to his surroundings, he was thinking about what he should have for dinner, ramen or do his homework until 2 am, truly an important question to ask himself. Anyway, he had been swinging by the apartments that were nearest the campus and saw your window open with you belting out the lyrics to Chop Suey!
This caused him to stumble and he flew directly into the space right by your open window. This scared you and embarrassed him, he truly never wanted to perish more than in that moment. You, being the nice person you are, asked if he was okay and after hearing confirmation invited him in to your room to have a drink. Was it dangerous of you to do so? Yeah, but at that moment you weren’t exactly thinking too clearly, Spider-man just smacked face first into the bricks of the wall after all.
From that day on, he had visited your apartment and a little friendship had begun to form. Back to the present day, Jungkook just made it to your apartment window when something didn’t seem right. For one, your window was wide open. Now it wouldn’t seem to weird to anyone else, but you only kept yours halfway open and with the big screen over it, this time there was no big screen and it was open all the way. The second thing to tip off that something wasn’t right was that there was no sign of you in your room, but it was like a tornado went through it.
The papers that would usually be on your desk were all over your floor, your water bottle had spilled everywhere, and your backpack looked like it had been thrown across your room with the contents all over the place. You weren’t here, but you had been briefly before you disappeared.
Now he was panicking, as both Spider-man and Jungkook, you were significant to both his hero life and his personal life. Frantically he began turning over stuff in your room trying to find anything that could point to where you could have gone. He then found an envelope, no address, it didn't say your name on it and it wasn't opened. There was something about the envelope that just didn't seem right, so he opened it.
It was written for him, and he took off to the address within it.
You were kidnapped. Because of Spider-man, no, because Jungkook had been around you too often as Spider-man and now you could be in danger or worse, dead.
He'd never swung through the city so fast. At this point he wasn't being careful he was just frantically swinging as fast as he could to the address of a warehouse that was used to house cranes and bulldozers. He arrived and swung into an open window, it led to the top floor where workers could go to fix the roof.
As he landed there he finally let some rational thinking take hold of him and surveyed the area, where were you?
"Karen, could you do a check for heat signatures?"
"Of course, Jungkook."
The eyes in Jungkook's mask had changed the vision from the usual clear view to a heat radar, with it he could see every person and got a scan for them. You weren't there, he looked harder and eventually found a body, tied to the top of a crane, placed over a makeshift kennel, with the roof open, of rabid animals fighting each other. Well this certainly can't be good.
"Karen, that's not a good sign right? Rabid animals attack whatever moves in front of them?"
"That would be a yes, Jungkook."
Immediately he springs into action, webbing together everyone he saw to different areas and wrapping them up in webs. He narrowly missed the shots of guns that were pointed towards him, and stayed high up in the building to make it harder for them to aim at him.
He lands on the crane that you're on, the crane swinging slightly and makes a move to grab you, but the sound of something powering up stops him. There, on the ground with a smirk aimed at Jungkook is a man with a scar that takes up most of his face and a large weapon shaped like a bazooka and with other weapons pointed towards you both.
"Well, if it isn't Spider-man, here to save the damsel in distress?"
You, who had been blindfolded turned your head in the direction of the voice, "I'm not a damsel in distress so shut your trap, you soggy testicle looking ass bitch!"
Jungkook whips his head at you, Karen offhandedly commenting on him getting whiplash, and takes off your blindfold.
"Name calling? At a time like this?"
Blinking at the sudden flooding of light into your oh so sensitive eyes, you see your friend, absolute madd ladd of a companion Spider-man.
"Spider-buddy! Nice to see ya!"
Jungkook could have fallen off the crane had his feet not been stuck on it.
"I– you're tied up right now? How are you so calm?"
Shrugging best you could, you make a face, "can't really do much considering I'm pretty tied up at the moment, pun intended."
Now he had been expecting you to be panicked, terrified, maybe crying? This, though, was definitely nothing like he had anticipated. You always continue to surprise him.
You wiggle a little and wince as your side stung a little. When you were taken from your apartment they hit you in the side and knocked you out. Felt a bit like overkill to you, but you did say some obscene things and threatened their genitals so you found it fair. Jungkook just stares at you, making you just a bit uncomfortable, but he spaces out pretty often so you didn't think too much about it. Ignoring the very possible death that is only about a hundred feet away and the pain in your side and head, you try to start a conversation.
"Sooooo how's it goin?"
Both Jungkook and the dude who kidnapped you look at you incredulously and yell:
"Really?!"
Startled, your body jolts and the ropes binding you slip a little and your body falls just a bit.
"Oh that's probably not good—"
"Are you really asking that now? You– you're tied… to a crane… above rabid animals? Along with multiple weapons pointed at you? You're not even the tiniest bit worried?"
In your mind you’re thinking, ‘why hasn’t he gotten me down yet?’ To be fair to Spider-man, you are placed pretty precariously over rabid animals and have multiple weapons pointed towards you both. Anyway, the words that leave your actual mouth:
"Gotta be honest, my GPA and financial status instill more fear in me than the dude that looks like literal bacon over there."
Your voice got louder towards the last bit of your sentence and both of the men look at you. Jungkook at this point was on the verge of having a heart attack. The other man in the room with you (the only one that isn't tied up) was feeling pretty offended and debating just putting you out of your misery.
You continued speaking.
"I mean, is this ideal? No, but it's something different and I can't exactly free myself, y'know no powers or anything like that, so I guess I'm just here. Oh and uh Spider-buddy? My ropes are kind of slipping by the way, so if you could pretty please with a big fat cherry on top pick your dick up and help a friend out that'd be great."
Jungkook, finally snapping out of his stupor, just noticed that your ropes were in fact slipping and grabbed your torso, untying you and swinging you both away as the villain below began shooting, narrowly missing each fire.
"'Pick your dick up,' really?"
You put your face into his neck, telling him to shut up.
Before Jungkook left with you he told Karen to call the police and to arrest the people in the warehouse. He places your body on the top floor, where he came in through a window, and went back down to the villain to web him up. This time, he was not as good at avoiding the weapons firing at him while he goes around him firing his spider webs. By this time the people who had been webbed up were freed by their comrades with knives. He gets hit in the side by a bullet and falters in the air while he grips his left side, well this isn’t good.
"So I didn't get to ask this before, but why did you take this school suffering student?"
The villain just looks at Jungkook's mask, where the eyes are.
"Well to hurt you of course, being close to others only makes it easier for people like me to hurt you. Be grateful I didn't do anything too bad. I may be a villain, but I’m not a monster."
Jungkook stills, did you end up getting hurt? He didn’t recall Karen mentioning anything about you being injured. Then again he was too worried about you to think clearly. His thoughts slowly began taking over his mind and during this the man in front of him pulled a knife and slashed it at his face. That action startles Jungkook, the knife cutting through his suit and marking his face.
He knocked the man out and went back to you as he stumbled, hearing the police with his super hearing and swings away with you held close to him. Finally your both back at your apartment, and go into your room where you see how much of a mess it is.
"Ugh this is gonna be a pain to clean up, sorry about the mess."
Jungkook, kind of upset with how nonchalant you've been, rips off his mask so fast your mind begins reeling and just starts to shout at you.
"What the fuck are you talking about?! You got kidnapped, because of me! I could care less about how your room looks like right now, how are you so calm? You could have been hurt or been killed and your saying sorry for your room? I could have lost you today, (y/n)! What if I hadn’t visited you today and because of that you died? This is serious!”
He finishes his shouting, panting heavily while you just stare at him. It’s Jungkook. Jungkook is Spider-man and has been visiting you for months. Once it finally dawns on you that his mask is now off and his face is showing, you run to your window closing and shutting the blinds. As well as locking your bedroom door after quickly checking to see if your roommate is home.
Thankfully they aren't, most likely spending the night at their girlfriend's place. Bless them and their relationship.
"Okay, you can be mad at me for being all nonchalant, but you've been hiding this! You're Spider-man, you're constantly in danger and you're getting mad at me?! Jeon Jungkook you could have died on any of the patrols you do and I wouldn’t know what happened to you, none of us would know!"
Jungkook, realizing he took off his mask in a short fit of anger, steps back a little. Both of you are breathing slightly heavy, taking a pause to think over all the events that had just happened in a short time. The one to make the first move is Jungkook who just grabs you and hugs you tightly to his chest.
Not expecting it, you awkwardly place one arm around his shoulders and the other around his waist. Closing your eyes and just rubbing his shoulders blades to help calm him down, he was shaking ever so slightly in your grasp.
“Jungkook, not to ruin the mood, but did you get hurt? I know that sounds dumb because you have a cut on your face, but I’m just asking to be sure you’re not hurt anywhere else.”
His shoulders tense under your hand.
“And don’t lie to me, I can feel the wound on your left side and it’s kind of grossing me out right now.”
He let's go of you and sits down on your desk chair, his head was down and he looked a little dazed. You left your room briefly to get a towel, a bowl of water, your first aid kit and a glass of water for Jungkook.
"Here, I'd say drinking some water is good right now."
He leans his body back in the chair, wincing at the ache in his side, and looks at you.
"What about you? How are you feeling?"
You were getting the hydrogen peroxide and a gauze pad from your kit when you stopped. Your head had a dull ache, but you didn't think much of it. You were coherent, able to form sentences and move freely, so technically you were fine. The chances of you having a concussion though? More likely than you think, but you’ll get it checked out when your done with Jungkook. The ache in your side though, that needed some ice.
"For the most part… good? I got hit in the head so I'll need to get that checked out later, and I have ice so I can slap that on my side."
He lets out a loud sigh, bordering on groaning.
“Please take care of yourself, I’d rather not hear that you died from getting a concussion.”
You let air out through your nose in a silent laugh, which was so inappropriate it's not funny you're just uncomfortable. Spraying some of the hydrogen peroxide on Jungkook’s face causes him to wince as the solution fizzes, you walk around your room tidying up a little bit against your own better judgement. You should probably be laying down or calling an ambulance, but with Wonder Boy here you feel guilty just leaving him.
Also if your friend decided to come home early and just walk right into your room it’d be damn near impossible to explain why he was there in the first place.
“Turn your head to me,” you wipe the solution from his face with the gauze, “you’re lucky that the cut isn’t too deep, it doesn’t look like you’ll need stitches.”
He lets out a puff of air causing you to scrunch your face.
“That is some musty ass breath, Kook.”
He laughs, which makes him wince as he grabs at his side. Immediately, you move his hand to look at his side.
“Alrighty so I’m gonna need you to turn yourself so I can look at both sides, if the bullet is still there it shouldn’t bother you, but if not then that’s where the problem is.”
It seemed luck had finally been on both of your sides, there was no exit wound and he wasn’t coughing up any coffee grounds looking substance so there was no internal bleeding. All pretty good, just gonna need to clean the wound which would be a bitch and a half, but better than getting an infection.
Telling Jungkook this was not fun, going through with it was worse. He immediately went to bed in your clean, nicely made— just kidding your bed was a mess. You made him take off his suit and gave him some sweatpants that were big on you, and a giant shirt that you had. You really liked oversized clothes, so what?
With the shower he took, the bandages on his side and face, and the medicine you gave him for pain the minute his head touched your pillow he fell asleep. In the meantime, you picked up the things in your room that didn’t make much noise.
Eventually you went to bed on the couch in the living room, a little uncomfortable but you refused to sleep in the same bed with Jungkook. He had other plans though, he had sensitive ears and could hear you tossing and turning in your sleep. He left your room and went to the couch where he picked you up and brought you to your bed and laid there with you.
Arm draped around your form, you both slept soundly after such a stressful day. Truthfully, you were the “Damsel in Distress,” but if your hero was Spider-Man, and Jeon Jungkook, you didn’t mind.

Why? - F.W. (part one)
A/n: So I was on a marathon with my family and we got to that part in the last movie where Pansie was all "get him!" after Voldemort said to give Harry up and then ALL the Slytherins got punished so I started thinking about how it could have gone differently and this happened and y'all once I thought it out so perfectly I HAD to write it. For my fellow Green and Silvers.
Word Count: 5300+
MASTERLIST
I didn't like them from the get-go. The Weasley twins. My first day, when I was so excited I just about glowed, sitting on that sorting stool to get sorted. When I got the house I had crossed my fingers for because I had heard all about Hogwarts and had analyzed myself and predicted where I might go and had been RIGHT- and I loved to be right. When I was at my highest, having my golden moment, grinning like a child on Christmas and not noticing until later as the other first years were confused by the innocent, friendly, kind little girl they'd thought would be Hufflepuff being Slytherin. When I was still unaware of how Hogwarts worked and what it meant to be in Slytherin house, they made sure I knew.
As I made my way to the table at the end with the cheering kids in silver and green, I heard them. I heard them booing. I froze in my tracks, not down the first step yet, where everyone could see me. My face was wiped of my smile and my face had gone pale- I could feel it in the rushing feeling in my head. I slowly turned to look where it was coming from. The Gryffindor table. Two red-headed twins were grinning ear to ear as they screamed "BOOOOO!" on the top of their lungs, shaking their head and nudging each other like it was some grand joke. One of the twins - they MUST have been twins - caught my eye and his smile faded. He looked guilty. Good.
My sadness and discomfort and crushed happiness turned to anger, my face heating up. There was a hand on my back and I turned to see McGonagall. She gave me a pitying look before I turned away and finished my walk to my table, chin held high and back straight, my hands curled into fists at my side. I was angry.
When the sorting went through - my frozen moment of devastation was overshadowed and forgotten when Harry Potter of all people was sorted and went into Gryffindor - and the feast started, I turned to one of my table mates. "When I came down, there were these Gryffindors... booing me."
The girl, who had dirty blonde hair and brown eyes, was a bit older than me. Her expression darkened and she seemed to age far too many years. "One thing you have to get straight. In this school, we're not Hogwarts. Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs, and Gryffindors are Hogwarts." She glared at her food. "They think we're evil. All of us."
The word sent a wave of shock through my system. "Evil?" My voice was too light- I couldn't get any power behind my words. It was all air.
The girl placed a hand on my shoulder, her face sad and softer than before. "Don't worry, you'll have the rest of us, okay? And it's not so bad. Wait until you see the common room. Just ignore the other houses- it's better that way."
The rest of the meal I was fine. It was when I got tripped in the hallway on my way to the dorms that I finally lost it, only able to keep it together long enough to get into the rooms before I began crying. One of the other girls ran to get someone older and before long a brunette girl with green eyes came, pulling me into her chest and rubbing my back. "I'm not evil," I sobbed.
"I know," she soothes me. "They're all just arseholes, don't mind them."
So I didn't. Her words made me feel a lot better, but her actions were what soothed me. She was gentle and kind, considerate and soft. If she was a Slytherin then being a Slytherin wasn't bad and that was that. I made a vow after that night: I'd never let other kids' gossip and bull crap affect me. I would let it upset me again, let alone cry. I would NEVER cry over other peoples’ opinions. Not these peoples'. You know what, not anyone else's either.
I kept that vow, too.
My first potion's class was with Harry Potter himself. He was sitting next to a girl with bushy brown hair that I think made her look bigger- like a peacock uses its colorful feathers. I think it suited her. Professor Snape, the one teaching potions, was shooting question after question at Harry, ignoring the girl next to him as desperation crossed her face, her hand as high in the air as she could get it, wiggling.
It bugged me. Harry looked incredibly uncomfortable and the girl looked about ready to explode and Snape was being a dick. "Obviously he doesn't know." Snape looked at me sharply. Everyone did. It didn't scare me. "But SHE does. Why don't you ask a question where you want the answer, not just an opportunity to make a first year look like an idiot?"
The room was so silent that no one even dared breathe. Snape's eyes flickered to my tie, his features twisting with disgust when he noticed the green and silver. "Learn how to talk to teachers, or hold your tongue." I glared at him and that seemed to knock him silent for a second. He looked away, moving on, and I let out a soft breath I'd been holding in. I felt eyes on me and I looked over to see Harry and the girl both looking at me. The girl seemed bewildered, but Harry was smiling at me. I gave a small smile back.
Maybe not all Gryffindors were bad.
When I looked back over at my partner to whisper about how I was surprised I didn't get detention with how angry Snape had seemed, the words died on my tongue. My partner, a boy named Blaise, was glaring daggers at me. Even more viciously than Snape. "Who's side are you on?" He sneered at me.
I looked forward again and was quiet for the rest of the class. What did he mean 'who's side'? Weren't we all Hogwarts students? Was the girl who had told me it was Hogwarts versus Slytherins... serious? I was realizing I hadn't really believed her. I figured maybe a lot of people across houses didn't get along but there had to be more friendships than not. I saw twins get sorted into different houses. But I guess neither of them was in Slytherin. Harry didn't seem to hate me... though the girl next to him had seemed like she'd seen a ghost when I'd stood up for him...
I kept my mouth shut for a whole week and a half. Snape didn't much mess with Harry (though he did take opportunities that popped up) as much as he did another Gryffindor. Neville Longbottom. Harry was good at handling himself when Snape got on him. He was a tough kid and seemed generally unbothered, keeping his pride and gave little reaction passed a glare or an eye roll behind Snape's back. Neville, on the other hand, was awkward and sensitive, flinching at everything Snape said. Even if Snape was nearby or shot him a look from across the classroom. It hit every nerve in my body and was grating on every instinct I had.
Then Snape crossed a line. He threatened to hex Neville's road if the boy got the potion wrong. Neville made a pathetic sound that was halfway between a choked sob and a surprised gasp and the Slytherin next to me - Draco Malfoy this time - snickered under his breath.
"You can't do that."
Silence again, like after the first time when I'd stuck up for Harry. Draco leaned away from me as if I was diseased or had turned into a werewolf. "What," Snape asked, dragging the word out. "Did you just say to me?"
I turned around in my chair to meet his eyes, my expression determined and as controlled as his was. "I seriously doubt that Dumbledore would approve of your harming a student's familiar simply because they were confused on a spell. That's not proper punishment, Professor." I spat the last word like it was poison and his eyes narrowed.
"How would you have me handle his lack of talent then, Miss Black?" As he said my last name an emotion flickered across his face that I vaguely recognized. It was the same one that I hadn't taken much notice of my first day but was apparent to me now as I thought back on it. The same look in McGonagall's eyes as she called my name for me to be sorted. It made me nervous. They couldn’t know. Not yet.
"Maybe teach him. Then he'll know how to do it."
Someone gasped. Snape flared. "Well, since I'm so incapable of teaching him, obviously, then you will have to try for me." He took steps toward me and I genuinely felt terrified. "You and Mr. Longbottom will meet in here for detention every day for the next week and during class, you two will be paired up. If he fails, so do you." He leaned forward, flattening the palm of his hand on my desk and leaning down to get in my face. "Do I make myself clear?"
My angry gaze leveled with his and I didn't move back, which he seemed to have not been expecting as he leaned a millimeter back himself. "Crystal." I nearly growled the word. He slowly stood, moving back up the aisle to the front of the classroom. "Resume your potions," he snapped. The room returned to their potions.
After class I was finally free, only to have the back of my robes yanked on as I was dragged into a darker hallway. I choked on the pressure against my neck but was knocked breathless before I could scream once I got my air back as the same person slammed me into the nearest wall. I blinked rapidly to try and re-orient myself as unknowing students passed by. Just as the last one disappeared, the world stopped being confusing and I recognized the faces in front of me. Draco Malfoy and his two brutes- Crabb and Goyle. I hadn't much liked any of them but Draco had been generally friendly with me so they left me alone.
Now there wasn't a chance of friendship in their eyes. Or mercy. "Stop standing up for Gryffindors," Malfoy sneered. I shrunk back into the wall. "Aren't you a Slytherin? Don't you have any pride? Any self-respect? You're making the rest of us look bad."
Gathering my courage, I curled my hands into fists. "I think you're doing that fine on your own," I eased. "Looking bad. A kid is being picked on by a teacher and you're laughing as if it's funny." I scoffed. "You're a coward hiding behind bullies. And I won't stand by and let it happen- I don't care WHO you are."
Crabb was the one holding me against the wall but Draco was the one speaking, and I guess that made him just as powerful because he leaned in my face, unfazed by my words. "One day you're going to regret not keeping your mouth shut."
"And one day you'll regret not having said anything," I shot back. "It will be different, but we will both regret. The difference will be YOU will want to go back and change it. I will not."
"Why you-" Draco began.
He was interrupted. "Let. Her. Go." The four of us looked over to see an older Hufflepuff boy - a Prefect, by the badge on his robes - flanked by two tall, red-headed, identical Gryffindors. I recognized the twins from the sorting ceremony. They were the ones that had booed me. "I think you boys need to step away from the situation and calm down before this gets too ugly.
Draco hesitated before sneering a, "Come on Goyle, Crabb. This isn't worth our time." I felt the grip leave me as they left.
My eyes moved to the three boys who had rescued me. "Thank you," I said to the Hufflepuff. I ignored the twins.
"No problem. You're a first year?" I nodded. "I'm a fourth year. Cedric Diggory."
"Ylva Black," I exchanged. "You can call me Liv."
Cedric smiles, nodding. One of the twins stepped forward, next to him instead of behind. "I'm Fred, this is George. We're Weasleys. Third years." He seemed to be rambling just a bit and sensed how awkward and inorganic it was because he winced, blushing almost as red as his hair. George shot his brother a weird look and Cedric rose an eyebrow, smiling. I was unamused.
"Thanks again." I turned around and walked away.
I didn't talk to them again for quite a while, though I did see Fred in the hall constantly. Don't ask me how I knew it was Fred and not George- I just knew. There was something about the twins that made sense to me. I couldn't name it or make sense of it but it took me one interaction and then I could tell them apart... mostly. Sometimes I noticed one of them and wondered which it was. Not that I was genuinely interested in the twins who were absolute jerks but more, I liked a challenge. No one could figure out the difference. I wanted to be the first.
For a while, it was just me and Neville. We spent every potions class together and as long as he listened to me, I could keep him calm and ignore Snape's antagonizations. The only incident for a while was when the Slytherins and Gryffindors first met to learn how to fly a broom. Draco picked up Neville's Remembrall. Neville had become someone I sought to protect so it had been my instinct to step up for him, and a lot of people looked at me, almost expecting it. But going up against a teacher was different than going against Draco Malfoy, a fellow Slytherin first year. My moment of hesitation allowed Harry an opening.
The rest was my smiling and laughing as Harry put Draco in his place- until McGonagall showed up. Harry tossed me the Remembrall and I nodded, tucking it into my pocket.
At first, I thought all the Slytherins hated me as much as Malfoy, but one morning a Slytherin boy sat next to me and started talking, looping two girls across from us into the conversation. One of the girls wasn't interested but the other was and the three of us held a conversation the whole meal. The boy's name was Samuel Wiseman and the girl was Bertha Grimm. For the most part, I didn't talk to them, but during mealtimes we found each other. Then we began to hang out regularly sometimes too. When I had no one else, I had Bertha (who's name we shortened to 'Beth') and Sam.
After a month of somewhat peace was over, I ran into Cedric again. Some not-so-nice Gryffindors slammed into my shoulder, knocking me, and I nearly face planted. Cedric seemed to appear out of thin air to steady me, his eyes full of concern. "You okay?”
"Yeah," I sighed, glaring back but unable to spot who might have caught my shoulder. I looked back and Cedric, my expression softening. "It's fine, I'm getting used to it."
That seemed to bother him even more. He studied me carefully. "What are you doing later?" I shrugged. "Wanna hang out? I can help you with homework and you can tell me how your first... almost two months now, yeah?"
"Yeah," I confirmed. "I'd love that. Wanna meet in the library?" He nodded enthusiastically and I grinned for the first time since the sorting ceremony. "Awesome. See you then."
"Watch your back," he called after me. "I really will track down some Gryffindors and skin them if I see they're being too rough with you." I laughed, even though it wasn't really a joke. He was being serious in a light manner because he knew that it was a problem and he was trying to make it clear he wasn't going to tolerate it, even if he didn't want to upset me.
That night I told him everything. I told him about Sam and Beth but also about Crabb, Goyle, Draco, and the two girls who had welcomed and comforted me the first day but who now ignored me, not being hateful but not being friendly either. I told him about my few run in's and shared glances or teeny tiny sort-of-interactions with Harry Potter and how they'd gotten me in trouble. I told him about the twins booing me my first day. How Snape hated me, but Professor Flitwick shot me comforting smiles every once and a while so I was sure he liked me. I told him about the looks McGonagall had been shooting me when she thought I wasn't looking- a lot of really unimportant things I hadn't really thought were bothering me. I told him about how much I was loving Hogwarts despite all the hiccups.
He told me about his life too. About classes and friends and how he wasn't really a Prefect because he was only a fourth year. He'd just been messing around with a friend's badge that another one of his friends - a Gryffindor - had swiped as a joke when George had run up to him and told him that he and Fred have stumbled across some Slytherins who seemed to be ganging up on another student. He told me about some kids he knew in the other houses when I told him that Gryffindors seemed to be everywhere, joking that Gryffindors were the loudest but Hufflepuffs were the most fun. Then he began to tell me about some spells he was learning, quietly teaching me little harmless things to make me laugh. Tripping curses and spells that made bubbles come out of your wand. How to make a small bubble around us that blocked out all sound, or how to put my new levitating spell I’d just learned to hilarious use. He was a lot more trouble than I'd realized- even if he was only doing it to make me laugh.
Eventually we got to homework, where we stayed quiet except when he walked me through things I got hung up on. Mostly we worked on our different projects in comfortable silence.
My other friendships were a lot more casual- more like acquaintanceships. There was never a time when if we stopped talking it didn't feel... awkward. And once we stopped, it was hard to get into it again. With Cedric, it felt like I'd just found my long lost older brother. And he seemed to think the same. "It's late," he told me as I yawned my longest yawn yet. "How about you get to bed?" I turned a mournful look towards him and he returned a gentle smile. "We can do this again if you wish. Maybe regularly? Every Friday or Saturday?” He tilted his head back and forth. I smiled. “But you need sleep."
I sighed, nodding. "Okay, mum."
Cedric rolled his eyes but his smile never faltered. "If I'm going to be in charge of you, I accept big brother only." We looked at each other for a few seconds and then I nodded. Yep, that would do. We parted ways for the night and I headed to sleep.
Life basically passed like that. Cedric and I had a homework-and-chill session every weekend, the day changing based on our week and if we were available. My meals, some classes I spent with Sam and Beth, or how I had detention and potions with Neville. Everyone else pretty much ignored me except Fred Weasley, who would wave at me every time we made eye contact no matter how much I ignored him, and Harry and Ron - Ron was a friend that stuck around Harry and seemed to be all around pretty friendly to those who weren't total dicks - who would shoot me looks. Usually Harry initiatives the distant contact and usually in potions when I scrambled to block Neville from Snape. Little nods, fleeting smiles. The good stuff- casual style. Life stabilized and I was happy with my lot.
Then Halloween happened.
The panic, the troll in the dungeon, me curling into a ball and pressing my forehead to the table and closing my eyes and covering my ears while everyone screamed and tried to run out. Dumbledore calming us down. Going back to the dorm where Beth found me and hugged me, glad I was okay, and Sam was pulled to the boys' dorm by an older brother of his. He'd told us about him once.
After that night, rumors passed around about Harry Potter and the troll, and how 'Ron and Harry' became 'Harry, Ron, and Hermione'. Hermione actually began talking to me, taking the time after class while we moved to our next to ask how the last weekend had been. I told her about my friendship with Cedric Diggory and she told me about her friendship with Harry Potter and we laughed because it sounded like a competition but it wasn't.
When I first talked to Harry, he told me about his upcoming Quidditch game. I promised him I'd come but didn't promise I'd cheer for him and he got me to promise that I would cheer for him if he would give me a reason to. I promised that if it happened then I would.
At the game, I didn't get the chance to cheer for him. My knuckles were white as I gripped a railing, eyes glued to the sky and lips parted in worry. Harry was fine and I was calm until his broom started to jerk, zigzagging through the sky and trying to buck him off. People around me gasped and I appreciated for a moment that they cared. People were wrong- it wasn't Hogwarts against Slytherin. You could see the proof if you looked close enough. Even if they pretended to hate people from other houses, when someone was in danger Slytherins worried too. Even if they wouldn’t admit it.
Thankfully the broom stopped jerking just as I got my wand out and tried to think of something if he fell off. I relaxed, sitting back but leaving my wand out. There wasn't further incident but I was starting to worry about Harry Potter and the luck he had. Or, more accurately, the luck he DIDN’T have.
Other than these little blips of drama, it was just school. After detention ended Neville and I only talked to each other during potions. I did most of the work as he handed me things and read instructions. It was still teamwork enough that Snape couldn't yell at us. Harry and his friends seemed to be getting distracted by something so we didn't talk to each other much and Sam's brother kept trying to separate him from me - I realized it was ME when I saw the two brothers joking with Beth but then the older one, Michael, pull him away when I approached... several times. So Beth and I didn't hang out as much while she hung out with Sam and left me to hang out with Cedric.
Christmas I spent alone.
Most of the people I talked to left and the rest - Harry and Ron specifically - I didn't feel comfortable or close enough to rationalize crashing their Christmas. Cedric sent me a package of chocolates and a Christmas sweater that he'd said would be perfect for me. It totally was. I wondered briefly if he'd had someone make it for me...
I was out in the snow in my new sweater when he found me. Fred Weasley. "Hey."
I turned to face him. I frowned, turning away. "Hello."
He moved next to me. "You're less cool when you hate me."
"You're easy to hate," I replied evenly.
"How do you figure?"
I shot him a dark look. "Why are you here Fred? You obviously don't like Slytherins- you proved that when you BOOED me when I got sorted. So what do you want?"
He seemed to have a lot of emotions going through his head at once. "How did you know I was Fred?"
I looked away. "I don't know." I felt his eyes on me. "I actually don't," I repeated. "I just... I look at you and your brother and I DO."
He nodded, letting it go. "When we saw you in the hallway, with Draco and his dogs, George went and got Cedric but I stayed to watch because we were worried they'd hurt you before we could get someone." I looked over slowly. "What you said to them... it was cool." We didn't talk for a few beats. "I'd like to restart. I'm sorry about the sorting ceremony." I rose an eyebrow. "Seriously.” He shifted, righting his shirt for dramatic effect even though it was fine. “Hi, I'm Fred Weasley." He stuck out his hand to me.
Unable to help myself, I smiled. He was too easy going and positive. His smile was too contagious. So I took his hand, shaking. "Ylva Black." I hesitated then added, "You can call me Liv."
He grinned. "Cool."
The same comfortable quiet I felt with Cedric fell and I knew that despite how we'd started things, I had a new REAL friend and I was okay with that. I guess that was my real Christmas present.
The rest of the year passed without much drama for me until word spread around about Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. My worry for him increased and I wondered if being his friend was a good idea, considering how Hermione and Ron were involved. Quirrell was gone and rumors of a dark power hovering over them had first years shivering with fear.
At the end of the day, Fred and I became really good friends, which lead to me meeting George. It was like how my other acquaintanceships were- not often and loud, but fun. George was nice but it was Fred who joined my weekend study sessions with Cedric.
When Slytherin was lined up for the cup, I felt successful. I'd done my part for the glory of my house, though I did feel bad for the glum looks on a lot of my Gryffindor comrades. Cedric waved at me from across the room in congratulations and I grinned back.
I was tired of getting the carpet torn from under me. I was tired of being sure and set in something and then having it turned on it's head. Alas, Dumbledore had one last surprise. He awarded some last minute points, recognizing Ron and Hermione in their part in helping Harry as well as recognizing Neville for standing up to them. Neville's happy smile and wide eyes as people thumped him on the back sent my heart soaring and I didn't even fell bad when Harry got his extra points and the banners turned from green to red- Gryffindor had won. I was the only Slytherin that clapped and it was short lived. Other Slytherins glared at me and I sunk into my seat.
My house hated me.
The train ride was the highlight of my year, which is probably strange but no less true. I spent most of it writing a letter to my dad... even though I knew I'd never send it. I finished it, closing it up and then just staring at it. I'd written letters before but I knew that I wanted to write one at the end of every year, just to summarize what I'd gone through. I had no one else to talk to... Or so I thought.
"Who'd you write a letter to?"
I looked up, smiling as Cedric sat down across from me. "My dad." He nodded and the paused when my eyes fell to my letter again, my face growing sad. I noticed his curiosity and I cleared my throat. "Why are you sitting with me? Cool Hufflepuff fourth year like you? Don't you have any other friends?"
Cedric busted up laughing. "Okay, rude, first of all. Second of all, I CHOSE to come here because I wanted to say my last goodbye. Have one last conversation." He paused. "And threaten you to write me during the Summer to make sure you do." We both chuckled.
"Yeah, I'll write to you." I looked back to my letter.
"What's that about?" He asked gently, jutting his chin to my face. I suppose he was talking about my expression. "Aren't you going back home? Why send a letter?"
I swallowed. "My dad... isn't at home." He grew quiet, his smile faltering. "I don't think he even knows I exist."
He leaned forward, taking my hand. "I didn't know that I'm sorry."
"It's okay." I shook my head, smiling weakly. "You couldn't hurt a fly if you tried." We both smiled a little stronger. "Fun fact: I'm a loner." My eyes fell to the floor. "My mum sort of didn't want me so she gave me away. I mean... she wanted me at first. But my dad- he isn't a good man. She said I reminded her of him - in a latter, I was just a baby when she left me - so she gave me away. I'm... sort of in an orphanage." I shrugged, looking away. "I figured you should know. Friends know those things about each other right?"
Cedric's expression grew even sadder at my question. "Oh Liv..." he moved next to me, putting an arm around me and pulling me into his side. "I'm so sorry."
"It's okay," I whispered, closing my eyes. He was warm. "I have the greatest big brother." I couldn't see him but I knew that he was smiling by the sound of his little gasp, a little choked up.
I don't remember falling asleep but since he had to wake me up, he must have. "We're almost there. You might want to change out of your robes." I nodded, moving away to do so before returning in my normal clothes. I sat down next to him, snagging my folded up letter to tuck it into my trunk where it wouldn't get ruined. "I'd have to ask my dad for sure, but if he's okay with it... do you want to spend some of your Summer at my house?" I looked up at him, eyes shooting a mile wide. "I don't have a mum either but we’d still have nice su-"
I cut him off when I attacked him, wrapping my arms around his neck. "I would love to Ced."
He hugged me back. "I'll make sure it happens then." The rest of the time he told me about what he had planned this Summer and his plan on getting it worked out. When the train stopped I finally noticed that he didn't have his robes on anymore, which made me realized he must have changed when I was asleep. He walked me to his dad, explaining our friendship and asking if I could stay after introducing me. His dad was rather pleasant and seemed excited by the idea of having me over. Now all there was for us to convince the lady at the orphanage... which I promised wouldn't be hard. We moved toward platforms nine and ten where I told them she was waiting for me.
"LIV!" I turned to see Fred jogging up to me. I smiled, catching his ever-contagious grin. "Sorry I just wanted to catch you before you were gone. Write to me will you?"
A weird light filled me. I was THRILLED to have so many people genuinely concerned with keeping in touch. Who would miss me. "Definitely." I paused before holding out my hand. He looked down at it, taking it. But instead of shaking like I'd thought he pulled me closer, hugging me. I was tense at first but then I softened, allowing myself to enjoy the hug. We pulled away as someone called Fred's name, stepping apart. "See you."
"Until next year." Then he turned and walked away. I went back to Cedric and his dad, guiding them to the Muggle train station and to the Head Mistress of the orphanage. This was going to a great Summer, but I was even more excited for my second year of Hogwarts coming up. I had a feeling that some amazing things were about to happen and I couldn't wait.

Full of surprises.
Summary: After meeting John outside a bar, you soon start to realise he is full of surprises- especially after your brother makes a remark that annoys him.
Warnings: Suggestive (mature-ish) themes, Brian gets verbally burnt, swearing, smoking, drinking.
A/N: Okay so I did a little more than two words because I found it much simpler to stretch out Brian's suffering for your request @vaidde 😂 sorry it took me a while but I hope it's what you wanted and I hope you enjoy! 💖
John's lips were pressing themselves to any bit of exposed skin he could see. You ran a hand through his hair and contently sighed, he was always so gentle and tender with you after unleashing his rough and wild love and lust induced passion. You were more than happy to endure his wrath.
"I love you," he hummed and traced little patterns over your side with the tip of his finger.
Each time he said that it felt like the first. You got the same thrill and buzz each time he told you that. "I love you too, John," you softly murmured and he leaned up just enough to press his lips to yours before returning to lie on your stomach. "Studio today?" You asked.
"Yeah, I don't have to leave for a little while though," he grinned. "I get to enjoy this view for a little longer..." he purred eyeing up you in his favourite top- the one that had Peter Pan on it- and his boxers that he kindly lent you since he ruined your underwear. They were now nothing but shredded remains on the floor of his bedroom. "And we get to avoid your brother for a little longer too..." That made you laugh, John's head bumped up and down on you while your body gently jolted.
Brian had explicitly warned you countless of times not to get with any members of the bands he had been in. You told him each time that you wouldn't- until you met John. At first you didn't know he had been chosen to play bass for Queen- Brian, Freddie and Roger had been complaining for months that they had been going through bass players quicker than Roger went through a pack of cigarettes. When the three met John and heard him play, he was instantly recruited. They thought he was incredibly talented and his persona and personality was a hit with everyone.
You met him outside the bar Queen were playing at. John was outside lighting a cigarette just as you walked up and pulled out one for yourself, fighting with the lighter when it wouldn't stay alight. "Here," John leaned forward and lit his, you placed the cigarette between your lips and let him light it for you. Your eyes flickered up from the flame to his eyes that were shining thanks to the orange glow from the flame. It was dark out and the light highlighted all his exquisite features.
"Thank you," you exhaled a cloud of smoke "I'm trying to quit," you lowly laughed. "My brothers friend got me hooked and I've been resenting him ever since." He chortled and you grinned "I'm Y/N, by the way."
"John Deacon, nice to meet you." He smiled and took a puff "Must be my lucky night..." he said.
You raised a curious brow "Why's that, John?"
He shrugged a shoulder "Joined a band that's going places and now I'm in the company of a beautiful woman." He charmingly smirked with a wink and your eyes widened slightly. "I'm a very lucky man for the latter part."
You bit down on your lip "Well if you aren't busy tomorrow you might get even luckier..." you suggestively replied.
John moved a little closer to you "Oh yeah?" He licked his lips- something that didn't go unnoticed by you. "Think I could get a taster of what's to come?" His eyes flickered back and forth from your eyes to your lips.
You grinned and leaned forward, just pressing enough pressure to his lips that made you both drop your cigarettes when the kiss felt much better than smoking them. You both slowly began moving your mouths, bolts of electricity made your lips tingle. Your hand found the back of John's neck and he quietly moaned against your lips. You pulled back, both of you had half hooded eyes and slightly swollen lips. You grinned and shyly bowed your head, releasing your hand that was still on the back of John's neck. "Sorry...I'm sorry if that was too forward." You whispered.
John shook his head "Don't be sorry," he grinned "It was a great start to my night!" He chucked "But I gotta get inside."
"I do too, let me get you a drink." You offered and John nodded.
"I'll join you at the bar, give me a few minutes." John sweetly smiled and you assumed that he was going to the bathroom or something. You got the drinks- you figured beer would be the safest bet for John and you got yourself the same. You found yourself giddily grinning, you had really taken a shine to him. He was sweet and funny and had the most irresistible eyes. You did assume that he'd be in the bathroom- it shocked and surprised you when you saw him on stage with three other people you knew well- one of them far too well since he was your brother.
You sighed and pinched the bridge of your nose "Oh shit."
You knew you were getting yourself into trouble but still went to meet John the next day. Brian didn't have a clue- he didn't even see the pair of you the night before hanging out after the show. You were walking passed borough market, just letting your feet follow roads- you and John didn't really care where you were going, you just wanted to be in each other's company. "So any brother's or sisters?" He asked, making general chit chat.
You cleared your throat and scratched the back of your neck "Uhh...yeah. A brother."
"What's he like?" John asked and you stopped. He raised a brow when you did.
"Um, well..." you sighed, he was going to find out sooner or later. "My brother- you know him." John's brow raised even further up his forehead. "It's Brian."
John's mouth gapped open a little in surprise. "Oh. Oh right..." he muttered.
You softly groaned "I've made this awkward, haven't I?" You rubbed your temples "I'm sorry."
John shook his head and held your arms with his hands. "No! You haven't!" He sent you a reassuring smile. "Just because Brian's your brother...doesn't mean I like you any less."
Your heart skipped a beat hearing his bashful confession. "You like me?" You asked.
John timidly nodded "I haven't stopped thinking about you for a second since last night." He wholehearted admitted. "You're really beautiful and I meant what I said about being a lucky man."
Without a second of hesitation, you kissed him, taking him aback a little at your swiftness and desperateness to feel his lips on yours again. "I like you too, John." He widely smiled with shut eyes after you pulled back. You continued walking together, this time arm in arm, through the market. He even managed to sneakily buy you a huge single sunflower from a florist stall when you weren't looking. He would remember the joyous, surprised look you had on your face forever.
But you soon learned that John was full of surprises.
Of course Brian eventually found out. He found out after catching the pair of you kissing backstage when they had just finished a show. Roger and Freddie had to hold him back to stop him from murdering John. Over time, Brian had slowly adjusted to the fact that the two of you were together. The main thing for Brian was that you were happy but John got a deadly warning of what would happen if he hurt you.
You knew John would do no such thing because John knew what you would do would be ten times worse than what Brian said he'd do.
"What are you thinking about?" John asked with a small grin tugging at his lips noticing you spaced out a little. You snapped back into the moment after reminiscing about the past.
"You." You replied, running a hand through his hair again with a tired smile on your face. "As always." John kissed you before getting up and getting himself organised. "I might come with you today." You spoke up and followed him into his bathroom. He nodded while brushing his teeth. "I'll take a short shower," you said and he looked over his shoulder. His toothbrush fell into the sink with a soft clank when he saw you slowly peel off his shirt and then wiggle out of his boxers on the spot. You were standing in front of him with nothing on. "Or a long one if you want to join me..." you sultry smirked and John practically threw himself into the shower- pulling you with him.
You both eventually made it to the studio, John made sure you were wrapped up in one of his jumpers because it was cold out and gave you another pair of his boxer shorts that would bide you over until you got home. Your jeans were still alright and you'd be able to wrangle another days wear out of them. "Brian's not been happy with this album," John spoke up just before you made it to the studio. "Don't think he's very happy with me and everything I've been doing on it."
Your heart grew heavy seeing the look on John's face and upon hearing what he had said. "Oh John," you hummed and cupped his face, gently pecking his lips. "Don't you worry about Bri, I'll deal with him and tell him to lay off you- tell him to back off a bit."
"Thanks," he let out a lungful of relieved air "I swear, Y/N, sometimes I feel like just exploding!"
You cheekily smirked "Save your exploding for when you're with me," you playfully tapped his bum with a wink and he went as red as the phone box outside the studio. You both headed in together and greeted Freddie and Roger before giving Brian a hug. "Hi, Bri!" You smiled.
"Great...the only time I see my sister is when she comes to the studio hanging off her boyfriends and my bandmates arm..." he complained.
"Wow," you blinked "Nice to see you too..." you sarcastically uttered.
Brian sighed and shut his eyes "No I- it's good to see you. Just one of those days I think."
"Yeah well you better not take it out on John..." you warned. "I'll grab you all some coffee, might boost you up a bit." You left the boys for twenty minutes with their orders wrote down on a slip of paper. When you returned, they were all standing in a circle competing as if to see who could yell with irritation the loudest.
"All I'm saying is that the backing of a guitar would be good in that part- you know since it would be the only bloody guitar bit in the fucking album!" Brian snapped and you knew he was mad because he hardly ever raised his voice and swore.
"I think John has a point, Bri," Roger spoke up. "A guitar doesn't merge with anything during the small break. Maybe Freddie could improvise with piano? Or even sing something?"
You looked over at John and you were about to say something but he noticed and raised a hand, shaking his head with slightly pursed lips. He didn't want you to be dragged into their argument. "Well, fine!" Brian slapped his hands against his thighs. "But I know it takes real skill to play six strings rather than four."
You eyes shot open at Brian's rude little dig at your boyfriend. "Brian!" You hissed.
Freddie blinked at John's lack of response. "You don't have anything to say to that, John?"
John was unusually relaxed and laid back...a little too laid back you thought as you took a sip of your tea. "No Freddie, its fine." He coolly spoke. "Besides, if Brian wants my comeback he's going to have to scrape it off Y/N's teeth."
You spat out your tea and violently choked on it while Freddie gasped, Roger burst out laughing and Brian's mouth was gaping open with shock. "John! Jesus Christ!" You coughed out, almost floored with surprise.
"Damn Deacon, you kiss your mother with that mouth of yours?" Roger snorted. Brian was bent over by this point trying to erase those words still ringing in his ears.
"No," John walked over to you, pulling you towards him by your waist and forcefully kissed you. You moaned and quickly melted into the kiss before he pulled back leaving you stunned and giddy. "But I kiss Brian's sister." He smugly replied and Brian loudly groaned in disgust and embarrassment, clutching onto Roger to keep him upright.
"For the love of God someone make him stop talking!" Brian begged.
John was trying his hardest not to laugh. He had already got Brian back but he was going to push it as far as he could just to make payback for his comment that little bit sweeter. "I can say something else...what do you want me to say?" John turned back to glance at the three boys and shrugged his shoulder. "That we have sex rougher than Roger's voice after he's had a smoke?"
Freddie's mouth had formed an 'o' shape but the very corners of his lips began to curl upwards. Roger let out a loud, hysterical laugh, clutching his stomach while walking over to John to give him a high five.
Without the support of Roger's body, Brian's knees gave way and he slowly fell to the ground. He lay down groaning with his head in his hands while facing the moss green coloured carpet floor. "Ugh make him STOP!"
"That's not what your sister says..." John quickly retorted and Roger was almost joining Brian on the floor he was laughing so much.
"Alright!" You yelped and pulled John towards you. "I think you should all call it a day and forget this ever happened."
"As funny as this is, I agree with you darling!" Freddie's voice was full of amusement.
You walked over to Brian and bent down then pat his back "That'll teach you not to piss off John." You stood back up and left the studio with your boyfriend.
Roger gently nudged Brian's shoulder with his foot when he hadn't moved after ten minutes "You alright mate?"
He was still groaning "Death would have been less painful than hearing all that."
•••
John's arm was wrapped around your waist as you walked home the long way, down through borough market on a pleasant detour. "Did I take it too far?" He asked.
You smirked and shook your head "I don't think so- it was actually quite funny. You can do some damage, Deacon." You bumped him a little with your hip.
He chuckled with a smug smile. "Thought you would have known that after what happened last week," he winked and you blushed in the middle of the street. Your legs were very tender the day after the night before with him. You leaned up and kissed his cheek, he turned at the last second and managed to catch your lips.
You passed the flower stall and the florist handed him a single sunflower- John had paid the man in advance each month so whenever you both passed the stall he'd always be able to pick one up for you as a surprise.
You took it from him with a toothy grin "John Deacon," you cupped his cheek. "From flirting outside a pub to fierce words and flowers..." you kissed him. "You're always full of surprises."

101 Ways To Kill Bucky Barnes
Date With Death
"Fernando!" You called out upon walking into the car shop, your car was already partially dismantled. You didn't bother to glance over at the crumpled hood as you passed by heading to the office. The man in question poke his head out, his olive colored face lit up when he saw you.
"Aya, girl, what did you hit exactly?" He asked in a heavy accented flamboyant voice, pursing his lips together raising both his eye brows. "Cause lemme tell ya, that thing is useless now."
"The guy my client wants taken out." You replied walking up to him, he stepped back into the small office.
"Oh, you mean tall, dark, and hello gorgeous." He shot back, giving you grin wiggling his eyebrows at you, rolling your eyes in response as you flopped down in the rolling chair with a huff.
"Didn't notice." You shot back, leaning you head against the back of it.
"He still alive?" Fernando asked walking back to the computer as he started scrolling through the multiple pictures of other cars.
"Hopefully not now." You told him, looking at the ceiling.
"And what does that mean?" He asked, bringing up a Cadillac.
"Ended up putting cyanid in his coffee after breakfast this morning, and it was enough to take a horse out." You explained shaking your head to the car on screen.
"Breakfast?" He asked, as he pulled up a dodge neon on the computer.
"Yeah, he took me out cause of wrecking the car." You replied tilting you head at the plain old car on screen. You nodded, you didn't need anything fancy for the next day or two.
"He took you out after you attempted to kill him? And then you tried to poison him?" He asked, his eyes widening at you, mouth dropping a bit.
"Yeah, I was hired to kill him, remember." You stated standing abruptly. "Not date him."
"I didn't say anything about date, just shocked." He remarked tilting his head and raising an eyebrow at you. You rolled your eyes again, walking over to the office window and look out at your car that was going to get scrapped. "Seems like you got more to add to that there girlie."
"No, I don't." You replied tersely.
"Hmm, let's see. That I know of you've tried poisoning him twice, attempted to run him over and he's taken you out for breakfast cause you, my dear, hit him with your car." He relayed back to you, you looked over your shoulder at him.
"As I said, I gave him enough cyanide to kill a horse, doesn't matter." You sighed, looking back out the window. "And I'll know for sure at five tonight that he's dead."
"Why five?" He asked.
"Cause I'm supposed to meet up with him for dinner." You said softly, looking down at your arms that were crossed.
"Hang on, you.. you are or were.. actually you agreed to go on a date and you still killed him?!" Fernando shrieked.
"I'm doing my job, and the amount I'm being paid is enough to get out of this life." You sighed, looking over at him again.
"No I get that, but girl, couldn't you have at least waited till after a little bit of fun time to kill him? You ain't been out in... like ever!" He all but yelled this time.
"He's a hit, that's it, and hopefully a dead one. I'd like to get paid and leave this city, too many people." You stated, walking out of the room. "How long till that car is ready?"

Bucky rummaged through his closet looking for something that wasn't too beat up or stained. His nerves were starting to get to him, making his stomach tie up in knots. He finally spotted a navy sweater and pulled it out, he checked over for wholes before looking for a pair of jeans that weren't tattered or bullet hole ridden and preferably one not covered in motorcycle oil.
"Dude, you still haven't found something for this date? Taking longer then a chick." Sam remarked from the doorway.
"Shut up, its been a very long time since I went out on date." Bucky responded with out looking finally pulling out a pair of dark denim.
"Obviously." Sam chuckled. "Surprised you ain't putting on a suit and tie, that's how you folks did it back in the day."
"Not entirely true." Bucky shot back looking over at the other man, he turned and walked over toward the doorway. Sam backed up a bit his arms still crossed. "Just cause we wanted to dress nice and presentable doesn't mean we always wore a suit and tie."
Bucky closed the door and took a deep breath.
——
Five o clock rolled around and you stood just outside the coffee shop door. You weren't overly dressed, there wasn't going to be a need for it anyway. Simple black pants and lilac top, you waited, biting your bottom lip. Then you heard the unmistakable sound of a Harley coming down the street, you nodded to yourself as you pulled your phone out and saw the minutes tick by. Mission completed.
The sound of the bike shutting off in front you didn't even register as you took a deep breath.
"Hey doll." Bucky spoke up, your snapped upwards, eyes widening. He sat on the bike, black helmet in rest on his thigh, you blinked hard a couple of times. "Sorry I'm a bit late, there was a traffic jam down the street."
"That's.. okay." You breathed out, your heart skipping a beat as you stared at him. His hair was loose, something you had never seen on him.
"So, I know a really good Italian place but it's either you drive or we take the bike. It's the only mode of transportation I have besides my own two feet." He smiled, you nodded as you walked up to the motorcycle. He reached back and unfastened the second helmet.
"Bike it is." You smiled, taking the helmet from him as you swung your leg over the back and pulled the helmet on buckling it down. He better know what's he doing, you thought to yourself as you wrapped your arms around him.
He turned the bike back on, and you felt the purr of the motor reverberate through the machine. Gently he nosed it back out into traffic and sped off away from the coffee shop. Being this close to him you couldn't help but notice that the man was made of solid muscle, even through the leather jacket he wore you could feel how hard his muscle tone. You tried to push that thought to the back of your head, and Fernando's voice that kept telling you to have a little fun before you killed him.
It didn’t take him long to wind through the streets before stopping at a run down looking restaurant just titled Mama's. He killed the bike and pulled his helmet off as you did the same. He got off the bike and you followed suit, Bucky gave you a lopsided smile, running his hand across the back of neck looking back at the building.
"I know, it looks like crap but.. the foods is great and so are the people that run it." He stated looking back at you. You nodded with a big smile.
"You know," you sighed walking toward the building, Bucky falling in step with you. "I always found little dives like this to have the best food."
Bucky grinned as he opened the door for you just as you were about to reach it. It threw you a little to have someone open the door for you, a simple gesture, but it was something you couldn't remember anybody ever doing.
"Bucky!" An older woman with a thick Italian accent yelled as she came across the restaurant floor. You looked around, the lights in the building provide ample light, but not over bearing, they hung from chain light fixtures with stained glass settings. Booths lined the walls, plush red leather seats and mahogany tables each with a single lit candle. Pictures of Italy, no doubt taken by the woman who embraced the other assassin, lined the walls all in black and white. "We weren't expecting you tonight!"
She grinned up at him, holding the man by his arms before her gaze shifted past him, her honey brown eyes landing you. She raised an eyebrow, and then looked up him.
"And you brought a girl." She chuckled, shoving him to the side slightly as she approached you, the woman wrapped her arms around, catching you off guard, your body instinctively stiffened.
"Angelina, she's a friend." He stated, giving you apologetic look. All you could do was give him a tight smile as the woman finally released you, running her hand down your arm taking your hand in hers as she did the same with him. She walked you both to the table.
"Well either way, it's nice to have you both." She smiled, both of you took your seats. Angelina hand you both a paper menu from the apron she wore before walking off to get you both something to drink.
"Sorry, she's one of those people that hugs everyone." He stated taking a deep breath.
"Really it's fine, just wasn't expecting it, that's all." You replied, settling in for what you would assume would be the most awkward date ever.
