Played the latest two added AC: Valhalla quests this morning.

“The Raven & Cuckoo” was obviously just a cute little quest to make you a little excited for Mirage (which, I honestly kind of am. Much as I loved Valhalla, I am looking forward to an AC game that hopefully brings back the stuff that made me fall in love with the series in the first place).

“The Last Chapter” was so lackluster, I don’t even have anything to say about it. (I have seen some people very angry, as if doing ooc endings for their characters just to press them into the overarching Animus storyline is not what Ubi has always done, please) It should have been an actual goodbye instead of some vague memories of characters that were largely irrelevant. Also, I have been done with the modern storyline since AC3, so ... that bit wasn’t really for me.

Y'all I know that when so-called AI generates ridiculous results it's hilarious and I find it as funny as the next guy but I NEED y'all to remember that every single time an AI answer is generated it uses 5x as much energy as a conventional websearch and burns through 10 ml of water. FOR EVERY ANSWER. Each big llm is equal to 300,000 kiligrams of carbon dioxide emissions.

LLMs are killing the environment, and when we generate answers for the lolz we're still contributing to it.

Stop using it. Stop using it for a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. We need to kill it.

a lot of refugee charities have been forced to close leaving many people without support, homes, funding, food, etc. if you aren't able to donate please consider sending a message via the conversation over borders campaign! it will send a hopeful, welcoming letter to a refugee in the uk. there is also a guide to staying safe here.

please do your own research and donate to refugee charities, anti-islamophobia charities, mosques who are trying to rebuild after being destroyed, counter protesters, here are some i've heard positive things about but the list is extensive; southport strong together (support for the southport victims and their families), southport mosque rebuilding, riot repair fund, middlesbrough vulnerable residents, nasir mosque rebuilding, hull help for refugees, bristol welcomes migrants,
