Gilded Constellations | (wolfstar x reader)
Series Masterlist | Previous episode
Pairing: Wolfstar x Reader Word Count: 8.9 K Warnings: ANGST w/ comfort (but also not?) Prompt: It was nice to be in Remus' arms, but now it's time to face the real world. Will you be able to do it? This IS a Wolfstar x reader fic, but it's incredibly slow burn. They won't start all dating each other until we're very deep into the story, but I promise the long wait will be worth it. Chapter 47: Let Me Take You Home Tonight
You walked alongside Remus through the tunnel. The floor was cold against your bare feet, and the more you walked, the more you could feel the pain caused by the blisters in your soles. You wondered for a moment if that’s what ballerinas felt after wearing pointe shoes.
Remus kept throwing glances at you as you walked, you thought you were good at hiding it, but he could hear your jaw clenching and your ragged breath as you moved, sometimes cutting short from stepping on something sharp.
“Do you want to take my shoes?” he asked you.
“What?” you asked confused as you turned to him. “No, I’m–” you wanted to say fine, you weren’t sure you could make it sound believable, “It’ll be better once Pomfrey gets a look, I’m sure.”
“But until then, you’d be in pain.”
You sighed, “You know fae don’t normally wear shoes.”
“You’re only a quarter fae,” he responded. “And they live in the woods, and fly.”
You huffed in response to that, he wasn’t wrong. But still, you weren’t going to take his shoes. Your feet were already hurt, his weren’t.
“Can I borrow your wand?” you asked as you turned to him, he pulled it out of his pocket and handed it over.
You took it in your hands and waved it over your feet “Episkey,” you whispered, the same spell you had used to fix Peter’s nose before his date. It didn’t completely heal your feet, but the blisters were gone and walking wasn’t as painful as before.
You didn’t like using healing spells, they tended to be complicated and could go awfully wrong, especially without your actual wand, but you already knew Remus’ wand liked you since she had allowed you to use it in the past, so you decided to risk it, if only to bring Remus some peace of mind.
“Thank you,” you added as you straightened back up and handed over his wand.
“Are you sure you don’t want them?” he insisted, half pulling one and you just shook your head again in response. His offer was sweet, awfully sweet, but you wouldn’t have him feel pain at your stake, two people had done that for you in the last 24 hours, and neither of them had survived.
Remus still wasn’t convinced, but he walked alongside you, nonetheless. He knew you were still in pain, and he wanted to do anything he could to help you, but he also knew what it was like to be in pain and be constantly reminded about it by people, so he decided to let you have it, he’d take care of you once you were with Pomfrey.
By the time you arrived at the end of the hallway, you saw the small hole you’d have to climb, the one that was much easier to climb as Vixen than as yourself, and you wondered how Remus had gotten used to it.
“Wait here,” he said as he climbed up the area with ease, placing his feet and hand on strategic places to make his ascent much easier. He was insanely good at it, almost like Spider-Man. A few seconds passed and then you saw his hand drop back inside, “All right, the Willow is calm now, come on up.”
You used one of the spots he had used to propel yourself forward and grabbed onto his outstretched hand, your own closing around his forearm as he did the same to yours. And then he helped you up almost the rest of the way. Hauling you towards him like you weighed nothing.
“Thanks,” you mumbled as you stepped outside, the light being a little harsh on your dark accustomed eyes, which had you narrow them as you looked ahead. The ground was still filled with snow, and you still didn’t have shoes. You looked at your bare feet for a second before turning to Remus.
“May I borrow your wand again?” you asked with a sigh.
“What are you going to do? Melt the snow?” he asked in disbelief.
“I was planning to use a warming spell…” you admitted.
“Ridiculous.”
“I’m still not going to take your shoes.”
“Yeah I know, you’re stubborn as hell,” he said with a huff as he crouched down in front of you, “Come on, hop in.”
“You’re planning to piggyback ride me all the way to the castle? You are the ridiculous one!”
“What? Like it would be hard,” he said as he turned his head towards you. You gave him a suspicious look in return. “Hello? The best friend who also happens to be a werewolf? Superhuman strength, and all that, ringing any bells?”
You sighed, “But Remus–”
“But Remus me one more time and I will carry you without consent, you have been warned.”
“You wouldn’t dare!”
“Wanna test it?” he asked, as he raised one of his eyebrows.
He just might, you thought as you shook your head and did what you were told.
“See?” he said as he straightened up and started to walk, “Was it that hard?”
“Yes,” you said with a pout as you leaned your head on his shoulder. Remus was awfully comfortable, but you supposed he had always been, “I don’t want to be burdensome,” you mumbled, “the moon was just a couple of days ago, you must still be sore–”
“You are not burdensome,” he said almost instantly. Emphasising the “not” in the very articulated way he used to talk when he was in presentations.
“You’re too nice,” you mumbled as you dug your head deeper into his shoulder, your lips brushing against his neck causing him to shiver. “You cold?” you asked.
“No,” he responded.
“Are you sure?” you insisted, you had felt him tremble, “I could cast a warming spell around the two of us,” you added as you extended your hand in an attempt to get a hold of his wand, but that just caused your lips to brush against his neck again.
“I’m good,” he repeated as he shoved you back with his shoulder, not too sharp, but enough to drive your mouth away from his neck. That’s when you noticed.
You frowned, and then a devious smile appeared on your lips, “Are you… ticklish?” you asked tentatively.
“What? Why do you want to know?” Remus asked with a frown, his head turning your way.
“Just curious,” you replied with an innocent shrug. Remus gave you a side glance and then turned back to the castle. You had already crossed the entrance archway and were a lot closer than you’d been before. You smiled, and leaned a little closer to him again, taking in a deep breath and blowing some warm air straight to his neck.
Remus’ hair stood on end as you did that, and his step faltered as if he was about to trip, but he recovered, “What the–” he couldn’t even finish since you did it again.
“Vixen!” he complained, you just laughed. It was torture, but there was something magical about your unabashed laugh that he wasn’t sure if he really wanted you to stop or not. When you did it again, this time blowing closer to his ear, he couldn’t hold back the cackle that escaped his lips.
“Oi! Please stop!” He managed to say in between chuckles.
“But I’m trying to warm you,” you said innocently and blew again.
Remus tried to use his shoulder to push you away from his neck but was unsuccessful, he didn’t want to let go of your legs since he knew then you’d slide off him so he continued moving his shoulders in an attempt to stop you.
“Little Witch!” he whined.
“What?” you asked, “You’re cold, I’m just trying to help.”
“Such a vicious lie–” he couldn’t even finish, since you blew again, this time, he actually tripped and the two of you ended up spiralling down in the snow.
Remus attempted to break the fall, but the way he tripped didn’t help him much, so you were the one to hit the snow first, and due to the way you were grabbing onto him, he ended up in between your legs with his head being cushioned by your stomach.
There was a second of silence, in which you tried to breathe in some of the air that had escaped your lungs from the sharp fall, but you started to laugh right after. Remus raised his head from your stomach to look at you, to check if you were all right and was surprised to see you smiling so brightly.
“Look at you,” you said as you grabbed his head with both of your hands. “You’re so red, I had no idea you were that ticklish! The mighty werewolf, who would have thought?”
“I thought you were hungry,” he said as he tried to shake your hands off. He hadn’t blushed just because you were blowing air in his neck, or perhaps it had been because it was you the one doing it.
“I am, but messing with you is better than eating,” you replied with a smile and then shivered involuntarily.
He noticed instantly and scrambled into a standing position. Pulling you up so fast it took you some time to regain balance, “Remus!” you argued at his harshness but he ignored you, pulling you up and slinging you across his shoulder. “Remus!”
“I warned you, Sweetheart,” he said simply, starting a much quicker pace to the castle, even inside, he didn’t let go of you.
“Remus, what are you–” you asked as you noticed the path he was taking, “I would have walked to the infirmary,” you said with a huff.
“Rather not to risk it,” he said simply.
When you reached the infirmary, he dropped you into one of the beds and went straight to talk to Pomfrey as you stretched and sat on the edge of the mattress.
She looked at you with a worried sigh as she passed her wand over your body. “You were slightly hypothermic when he found you,” she said as she leaned down to check both of your feet. It felt weird, you had gotten hurt so often lately and you had avoided the infirmary like the plague most of the times that, being checked by a medic felt odd. Like you couldn’t deal with your pain by yourself, which was absolutely ridiculous, even Remus went to the infirmary and he was tougher than you.
You hummed in response to that, “Rem helped me warm up,” you added. She gave a side glance to the boy, he was blushing, and Remus didn’t blush often, she nodded.
“Remus, darling, could you please leave us alone for a second?” He hesitated but nodded, and walked outside. “Darling, he did more than just warm you,” she said. “News fly fast here, I heard of everything that happened, how’s your magic?”
You took a deep breath, “It’s… It’s all right,” you said honestly. “It was almost gone after the Fiendfyre but it’s much better today.”
She nodded, she could feel it, you were pretty much refuelled, it would have taken any normal witch days to refuel after something like that, she had heard about you being mixed race but she suspected your speed recovery had a lot more to do with Remus than it did with you.
“Please lay on the bed.” She was checking your knees and dabbing some potions on them with a small cotton ball. “Why did you come here?”
“Here?” you asked with a frown.
“Instead of Saint Mungo’s, instead of home?”
“I don’t think I have one of those anymore,” you admitted as you avoided her gaze. “My father cannot be happy with what I did. Hogwarts was the safest place for me. And… I should probably speak to Dumbledore.”
“You should rest first,” she corrected, “politics can wait.”
You threw her a worried glance, and she gave you a “no-nonsense” sort of gaze, you had you hold back your argument.
Still, it wasn’t politics, it was a matter of life and…
You didn’t want to think much about it either. She checked your breathing, and your face, even pulling your sleeve up slightly to check the bite you had given yourself.
“That’ll take a bit longer to heal,” she said, she easily noticed it hadn’t been a simple human tooth to tear through the skin, and while she wasn’t sure how exactly you had managed to do it, she knew it had to do with a transfiguration.
“I assumed it would,” you agreed and covered your arm with your sleeve again. You were pretty sure Remus hadn’t seen it, and you didn’t need him to see yet another way in which you had been hurt. Seeing you bawl your eyes out last night was enough. Merlin, he must think I’m so weak.
“I don’t know the full scope of the story, luv,” she said slowly as if she wasn’t sure if he should speak or not. “But… From what Dumbledore told me in his note, which he heard from someone who was also at the dinner, you ended up in the situation you did because you tried to help a muggle-born who was being tortured by the Dark Lord. That was very brave of you.”
You turned to look at her, there was somewhat of a reverential tone in the way she was looking at you that made your throat knot. You weren’t a hero, you didn’t want to be perceived as one either, especially not with how things had ended up.
Nina was gone and you would have diеd if Barty Crouch of all people hadn’t helped you get the fuck out. You would have cried over her until Lucius used a spell that wiped you off the map. You had tried to make justice and you had succeeded at nothing but making things worse and getting people killed.
You tried and failed. You weren’t a hero, you were a failure. You hadn’t been brave, you had been reckless and stupid. But if things happened all over again, would you have allowed Nina to be tortured? Would you have allowed Bellatrix to kill her?
Of course not.
“She still diеd,” you said, avoiding her gaze entirely.
Pomfrey placed her hand over yours, “I don’t know many that would have tried, darling,” she reassured. “She was lucky to have you as a friend.”
You didn’t want to cry again, but her words had been enough to crack you up. She brought you close to her chest and rubbed your back as you sobbed. You hated it, the feeling of tears streaming down your face, it made you feel weak.
After a few minutes, you sniffed and tried to wipe your face again. Pomfrey had been patient and kind and she even handed over a small, cloth handkerchief for you to wipe the tears away. “Here, take this, darling,” she said as she handed over a bottle of pepperup potion. “It’ll help the rest of the chills go away,” she explained. “One sip every two hours, It’s just for precautions.”
She had cured your feet and knees, the bite you had given yourself didn’t hurt anymore and after taking a bit of the potion, the shivering was gone.
“Will I have to stay the night?” you asked her.
She gave you a long look, after what you’d been through, the last thing that you’d want was to stay at an infirmary. Would she rather have you stay? Sure she would. But while she was worried about your physical state, she also knew the emotional one was important, and you looked like you needed a bit of normalcy and quiet. She sighed, “You may go back to your common room.”
You took a deep breath and nodded.
There was a soft knock on the door, and then Remus walked inside. He had a backpack slung across his shoulder as he walked inside. “Will she stay the night?” he asked.
“Just got cleared up,” you replied. He could see you had been crying again.
“Really?” He asked Pomfrey with a frown. He had planned to stay at the infirmary overnight with you.
“Really,” Pomfrey nodded. “But no walking around barefoot. A warm bath will probably do you good.”
Remus gave you the “I told you so” look and pulled a pair of slippers you must have left in his room one of the nights you stayed over.
You smiled and stood up while popping them on, then the two of you walked towards the exit.
“Remus?” The Mediwitch called as he was about to step out.
“Yes?” he asked, turning his head towards her.
“Keep taking care of her like you’ve been doing.”
He smiled and nodded, “Will do!”
“I brought you some of Sirius’ clothes,” Remus said as he nodded to the backpack behind him, "I thought she’d have you stay the night.”
“Me too,” you admitted. “But it looks like I wasn’t that bad off to begin with. She said you helped a lot last night.”
Remus shrugged in response.
You got to the common room and it was completely empty, “No other Gryffindors stayed over?” You asked as you walked the stairs alongside him.
“A first year and a third year,” he said. “They must be in Hogsmeade with Minnie now,” he said with a shrug.
“Oh,” you responded simply. He opened the door to his room and the two of you walked inside.
“Remus,” a voice said from the radio. “Remus, are you there?”
You smiled, it was Sirius. You turned to Remus, questioning and he nodded. You walked straight to his bed, where the radio lay and sat down right in front of him, looking for the microphone. Once you got a hold of it, you pressed the side button like you had seen people do in movies. “Roger that soldier, the squad is on their way,” you said in a deeper voice.
There was no answer from the other side, Remus pulled out the mirror to see what was happening. Sirius was looking at James with a confused face.
“Soldier, do you copy?” you insisted.
Remus barely kept a straight face.
“…Starshine?!” Sirius asked, half doubtful.
You smiled, debating whether to continue with the prank or not, “Indeed, Pups,” you replied, in your voice.
Remus saw the instant relief of Sirius through the mirror, and James leaned a little bit closer to the radio as well.
“How ARE you?” he asked.
Right, Sirius had seen it all.
“Well, Remus and Pomfrey took care of me,” you replied with a shrug, even if he couldn’t see it. Your demeanour had changed like rapid fire, it’s like you did everything you could to shove last night to a dark part and completely forget about it but people kept bringing it up.
He saw Sirius sigh on the other side, and he turned to the mirror, spotting Remus looking at him attentively, he pressed the button. “Kit, that’s not what I–” He sent Remus a questioning look, Remus shook his head in response. He could talk to you about it later when you actually wanted to talk about it. “Did you like my gift?”
“I loved it!” you said, happy he didn’t ask much more about last night. Remus walked next to you on the bed and handed the mirror over.
You looked at both Sirius and James sitting on the bed, Sirius looked like he had slept about as well as you had, there were deep dark circles under his eyes. If he had seen what you had… He might be the only person besides Remus, who understood what you were feeling, or at least had a vague idea of it, and yet… you refused to talk about it.
Not now, not through the damn radio, you tried to justify yourself. You were well aware ignoring your feelings wasn’t quite healthy, but you didn’t know a better way to cope either. Crying until you were tired wasn’t exactly a better option either, not now when you still had things to do. Maybe after the war was over, after your friends were safe, then you’d allow yourself to cry.
“Yeah?” Sirius asked with a smile. You nodded in return, looking at him through the mirror. He was wearing one of the shirts you’d gotten him. “I loved what you sent me,” he responded. “I’ve already been practising some watercolour stuff.”
Good, this was good, as if nothing had happened.
“Me too,” James intervened by snatching the microphone away from Sirius. “I mean I haven’t been practising watercolour, but I loved your gifts.”
You send him a wink through the mirror and spend about half an hour chatting with them about anything other than what had happened.
At some point, the boys had to go for lunch and you said a quick goodbye to them before allowing yourself to recline back on Remus’ bed. You wanted to keep your mind entertained, “We should go to the library,” you said out of a sudden, “or to eat, you said I could eat after Pomfrey.”
“You should bathe first, she said a warm bath should help you feel better,” Remus said as he placed his hand on your head to check your temperature. You were still borderline cold.
You checked the clock and took a sip of the pepperup potion Pomfrey had given you. Smoke came out of your ears for a couple of seconds. You were thankful for the fact that you didn’t have to drink it all in one go, you didn’t like the smoke thing one bit. It wasn’t painful, but you didn’t find it exactly comfortable either.
“Yes Mum,” you said as you let yourself sink deeper into the bed.
“Well then?”
“I don’t want to leave,” you whined, and you really didn’t. Being alone would only have you spiralling deep in your head, and in your thoughts, and nothing good could come from that. You turned to look at him, “Why don’t you read to me instead?”
“Why don’t you get an audiobook?” he retorted almost without thinking, “Besides I thought you were hungry.”
“Doesn’t sound as nice as you do, and I’m starving,” you said as you turned back to the ceiling with a sigh. Remus attempted to hide the blush that crept up his cheeks by turning to the side.
“I’ll read to you after you take a warm bath like Pomfrey instructed. I’ll even read while you eat if you want.”
You pouted in return, but you did want to change into anything other than the black dress you still had on –even if Remus’ jumper over it was warm– so you decided the deal was fair.
You stood up and walked towards the door. “What are you doing? Just use our bathroom,” Remus said as he pointed to said place’s door.
“Clothes,” you said as if it were obvious.
“Want me to get them for you?”
“And you’ll pick my underwear?” you teased with a smile. Remus couldn’t help but blush at the thought and you laughed openly at him. “Ugh, you’re such a prude. I can barely believe you were fucking Alice for like 3 months.”
“Oi!” he complained with a frown. “She never asked me to pick out her underwear.”
“Poor thing,” you said with a pout.
“As if Sirius had ever picked your underwear.”
“Oh, do you wanna know what else he got me for Christmas?” He hadn’t gotten you anything of the sort, but the more you spoke, the redder Remus became, and you thought it was adorable.
“Get your clothes, I’ll run the bath for you,” he said as he pretty much pushed you out of the room.
“Not too hot!” you said as he closed the door in your face. He heard you say a short “hmph” and walked down the stairs. He leaned his head against the door and had to breathe deeply for a couple of seconds to cool down.
Had Sirius really gotten you underwear for Christmas? He didn’t tell him about it… And they had discussed presents rather often. Then again, would he even mention that sort of stuff to me? he wondered. He stayed at the door for a few more minutes and then he walked to the bathroom, sitting down on the edge of the tub as he opened the water tap, first hot, and then just a bit of cold.
Remus was a hot water shower kind of guy, borderline scalding, so when he measured the temperature, he picked it a little hotter than the standard person would. But then again, he didn’t know how long you’d take, so the water might cool down by the time you came back.
No such luck, you had been quick on your feet, as soon as you got to the room stripping the black dress you’d been wearing. It was a stunning piece at the beginning of the night, now it had been torn and worn out from the fall, there was dried bIood clinging to the skirt and to the edges of the sleeves, both yours and Nina’s. You didn’t want to see the dress again, so you threw it in the laundry with a note for the elves, asking them kindly to get rid of it.
You would have done it yourself, but you still didn’t have a wand and attempting evanesco without one seemed like the recipe for disaster.
After that, you grabbed a simple pair of sweatpants and a long-sleeved cotton shirt. You also took a jumper that you had swiped from Remus and then placed it all in your backpack along with some toiletries. You were thankful you hadn’t packed any of your clothes to take home, although there were some things there you would miss. The clothes you had been wearing on the trip –Remus’ brown jumper and Sirius’ shirt–, the cute stuffed animal you’d gotten from the Slytherins, the books, and… of course, Sirius’ lovely drawing.
You almost broke down to cry again, the realisation that you’d never be able to go back home, that you would never eat your mother’s soup, hitting you like a truck as you thought of the things left behind. But as your eyes watered and your breath started running short you stood up hastily. Tears wouldn’t come if you didn’t give them enough time.
You took a bathrobe, wrapped it around yourself, and then took hold of the clothing assortment you’d picked, walking back to the boys’ room faster than you could process your feelings. You had to make sure the other students weren’t around as you crossed the common room, without a wand, there was no disillusionment charm, and without that, you could easily be spotted.
You walked inside the boys’ room as fast as you could, and you heard the water running, you assumed Remus was still inside, so you knocked lightly on the door.
“Come in,” Remus said softly. “You okay?” he asked the minute he saw your face.
“Totally,” you lied. However, could you be okay? “I got the clothes,” you added as you moved the heap up just a bit to call attention to it. Remus looked at you as he dipped his hand in the water, it was bubbly and it smelled really nice.
“I added some pain reliever potions Pomfrey’s given me,” he said. You gave him a look. Last time you’d taken his medicine, things had been problematic. “I checked a book, it says they’re safe. And I didn’t use that much either.”
“You know, I’m not really in pain,” you said, not physical, at least.
“Yeah bet,” he said, voice dripping with sarcasm. You reached towards the tub and dug your hand in as well, pulling it out almost an instant later.
“Shit, it’s too hot.”
“It’s just warm,” Remus argued.
You shook your head in response. It was hot enough to be uncomfortable. You pulled his hand out of the water and took it in yours, “Have you already fried your heat receptors?”
Remus narrowed his eyes at you and pulled his hand away from your grasp “Haha, very funny” -he stood- “Hurry up, I’m hungry too.”
He was about to leave the bathroom when you stood up as well, “Wait, may I borrow your wand?”
Remus handed it over without questioning and then exited the room. You turned back at the tub, it was scalding.
“Relashio gelida,” you said, a stream of freezing cold water left Remus’ wand. After a couple of minutes, you stopped the stream and checked the water again. It was still warm but not scalding anymore. You stripped and got in. The smell and the potions relaxing you in an instant. You didn’t want to take too long, so you busied yourself rubbing off some of the dirt and cleaning the dried patches of bIood. You sank completely under the water, blinking as you looked up at the stone ceiling, a little blurry due to the bubbly water. I didn’t hurt your eyes though, whatever potions Remus had used, prevented the soap from actually sinking into them.
Not that you would have minded the little sting, all you wanted was a little moment of quiet under the water. She had always been a calming force for you. You remembered once reading that mermaids couldn’t cry, since they were already inside the water. You liked the idea of being able to cry without people noticing. You stayed there until your lungs cried for air and you resurfaced enough to let your face out of the water, you took a deep breath and sighed, closing your eyes and figuring it was about time for you to finish up.
You changed quickly and found Remus sitting outside, a book in his hands. You were still drying your hair as you stepped into his room. Remus thought you looked adorable as you brushed the towel over your head. The crisp white shirt you’d chosen made you look angelic in his eyes.
“Let’s get some food,” you said as you left your hair alone and brushed it with your fingers. You’d let it air dry as you ate. The castle was warm enough to not have to worry about drying it.
Remus nodded and the two of you walked down to the Great Hall. It was almost empty, there were a few students cuddled up at some tables. Like 5 Slytherins sitting with Ravenclaws, and then there were 3 younger Hufflepuffs at their own table.
“I guess they chose not to go to Hogsmeade,” you said as you sat down.
“Some of them didn’t get permission from their parents,” Remus explained. “Enid and Niall for example,” he said pointing at the Hufflepuffs, “they are half-bIoods, their parents forbade them from going because of all the incidents they’ve read in the papers, they were scared.”
“And they should be,” you said, thinking back to the pile of dеad bodies back in Rosier Manor. The feast wasn’t as big as it was normally, but a decent assortment of food appeared right in front of you as you sat. There were desserts, and fruits and pasta and even some pies, but most importantly for you at that moment, there was meat.
You grabbed onto a few sausages bacon and a piece of steak and started munching on it the instant they appeared. Remus helpfully filled up a cup of your favourite juice for you and passed it over, before serving himself one.
He, despite claiming he was hungry earlier, took his time preparing himself a sandwich before he placed anything in his mouth. You felt like you were devouring your food in comparison to the much calmer demeanour he kept as he munched on his sandwich and ate some chips.
“I’m thinking about writing my parents,” he said after taking a sip from his juice. You turned to him and nodded. “But I’m not sure if… I mean would you rather stay here or do you wanna come with us?”
“You mean come to your house?”
Remus shrugged in response “I mean, the change of scenery could help clear your mind… and we could visit James and Sirius at some point too…” He seemed slightly hesitant as he spoke.
“Are you sure your parents would want me at their house, though?”
He frowned, “why wouldn’t they?”
“I mean… Pomfrey’d heard about the dinner, I pretty much openly opposed Voldemort, there’s probably a huge target for my head, that’s why I came straight to Hogwarts.”
“Oh, they won’t care,” Remus said. “We can ask Dumbledore if he thinks it’s safe if you want. If not we can just stay here until the break is over–“
“–I can stay here,” you interrupted. “Remus, your mum must miss you a lot. She hasn’t seen you in months, you’re not going to stay just because of me.”
“Mum has Dad, she won’t be alone if I don’t go,” he said simply. “If you stay, I’ll stay.”
“Talk to them first,” you insisted. “When were you supposed to leave?”
“Tonight,” he admitted. “I’m meant to see Dumbledore after dinner, he’ll let me use his office’s floo network.”
You didn’t want to admit it to yourself, but the idea of spending tonight alone was unnerving. Of course, you couldn’t keep clinging onto Remus like a leech, no matter how comforting he might be.
“I’m going to the owlery,” he said as he stood up, “I’ll write them, we’ll have an answer before then.”
“I should speak to Dumbledore,” you said as you too stood up, you turned towards the teacher’s table, “you think he’ll be at his office?”
He shrugged, “I’ll come with, it’s on my way anyway.”
You nodded, secretly thankful that he’d offered to walk you there, since you weren’t sure how to get to Dumbledore’s office. Yes, you had been at the school and you knew your way around secret passageways and to and from classrooms as much as anyone, but you hadn’t been to his office since the very start of the year, you didn’t even remember ever seeing it again.
Once the two of you were in front of the statue, Remus waited for you to ring the bell and for the statue to roll around revealing the set of stairs before nodding at you and continuing on his way. It was strangely reminiscent of that time you’d met him, the sexy pirate from the romance novels, you remembered. You had been through so much with him, that the initial meeting seemed to you like it had been years ago, instead of months.
The statue behind you clicked into position and you took a deep breath and walked upstairs, ready to talk to Dumbledore, even if you weren’t eager to relive the night’s events.
“I was expecting you to come,” he said calmly, “please sit,” he added as he gestured towards his chair. You swallowed and did as told. “How are you?”
“Surprisingly, still alive,” you responded.
There was a faint smile on his face, almost imperceptible, but you had noticed the way the corner of his mouth curled, even if just for a second. “I wouldn’t say surprising,” he said, “I’ve been informed you’re a very capable witch.”
You held back the amused scoff that threatened to leave your mouth by clenching your jaw before you decided to speak again, changing the drive of the conversation. “How much do you know?” He curled an eyebrow. “Of last night, I mean.”
“There was a fire at the Christmas Party, people diеd, your mother, among them.”
“It was a Deatheater Party,” you said coldly, “Voldemort was there, they called him Tom.”
He nodded as if he was aware of that. “They were torturing people, you intervened to stop Mrs. Lestrange from using an unforgivable on Nina Blythe. Her mother had already passed, unfortunately. Nobody’s seen her since the disaster.”
You struggled to say the next words, “She didn’t make it.”
The man nodded, somberly, “I assumed as much when you arrived with Madam Pomfrey and she didn’t. You wouldn’t have left her behind.”
He was right, you didn’t even want to leave her behind when she had passed. “Barty Crouch Jr. and Evan Rosier helped me escape.”
“The same Slytherins that–”
“–Yes,” you cut him off, you didn’t like being rude to your elders, but you didn’t want to hear from that moon either. The fact that the two boys had helped you still being hard to process. The same hands that had left you bruised one night had grabbed onto you to get you out of there alive, it didn’t make sense. “There were a lot of people there. I don’t know all of their names, but I tried to gather as many as I could. I’m sorry if I can no longer be of use.”
Dumbledore frowned, “No longer be of use?”
“I can’t spy for you anymore.”
“Ahhh,” he said, seeming to understand. “Nightshade didn’t ask to train you just because she thought you’d be a useful spy. Neither did I. We wanted you to join the Order of the Phoenix.”
“The what?”
Dumbledore explained to you what the Order was, that while your family connections had been initially a big reason for your recruitment, it had been your performance in classes, and the friendships you had formed that really got Nightshade to choose you. You had shown no bIood-based bias, you had openly defied pure-bIoods.
“We think you’d be an incredible addition to our ranks,” he added.
You gulped as you stared at his desk, trying to process everything he’d told you, “You… you want me to fight in the war,” you said, as if putting it into words made it any more real than it already was.
Dumbledore raised an eyebrow as he stared at you and nodded, “Perhaps then you’ll be able to continue protecting those you love.”
“But– there are much more experienced wizards, there– I almost diеd last night.”
“Yes, and you were willing to risk your life to protect someone you love,” he said. “That makes you better for the task of fighting a war than most, no matter how qualified they might be.”
You swallowed again, be it bravery or recklessness the reason that you had done what you did, you were now being offered…
“A chance to stop it from happening again,” he finished.
You looked at him with a frown, you were sure your occlumency was up, and you instantly tested your mind shields. They were still up, Dumbledore gave you a long look, and you realised he hadn’t been reading your mind, but rather your reactions and your body language. The way your jaw clenched and your body tensed when he said certain things. You breathed, relaxing your body as much as you could before speaking again, “Okay,” you said simply.
Dumbledore nodded, and you were about to stand, halfway up your chair before you sat down again and leaned a little closer, “I came here because it was the only safe place I could think of that Barty could help me apparate to.”
“It was very wise,” he noted.
“But… Remus will leave tonight. He asked his parents if I could come with them, but I won’t if my being with them puts them at risk.”
“Do you want to go?” He asked calmly.
You were taken aback by his question. Of course you did, you didn’t want to be left alone. “Not if it risks anyone’s life,” you repeated.
He nodded and gave you a long look, “From what I gather, the deatheaters are not looking for you at the present moment. They think you’re too weak, and that you’ll return home by yourself. Your father will probably be there, waiting for you.” He took a deep breath and then continued, “Is there a way in which he can track you? A magic item or something he’s given you?”
“No,” you responded. You had many magic items, but none by which he could track you. Not even the ring your mother had given you.
“Then it should be safe for you to go, as long as you don’t call too much attention to yourself. The Lupins live in a cottage near the sea in Wales at the moment. Small muggle town, no wizards live there to my knowledge.”
You nodded as he gave you all the information, “So, I wouldn’t put them in danger by going?”
“You would not,” he reassured.
“Okay, thank you,” you said as you stood up, something akin to a smile drawing itself on your lips.
Dumbledore merely nodded as he saw you walk towards his door and descend down the stairs, a mischievous look on his face, as if he was both amazed by and compassionate of you.
You walked down and found Remus sitting on a nearby bench, writing some things down in a small notebook. His face lit up when he spotted you, “How did it go?” he asked.
“He knew a lot of it already, I gave him the details and wrote a list of all the names I remembered.
The two of you walked towards the common room by each other and sat near the fire. Remus had extended his legs over the table and you let your head fall over his lap, closing your eyes when he turned on the radio and played one of the tapes you had sent them. “You still want me to read?” he asked.
You shrugged in response. “I’ve got this book,” he told you, pulling it out of his back, “or we could do one of yours?”
“Your book,” you said, you hadn’t even opened your eyes.
“You really want me to read advanced arithmancy?” he asked. You frowned and opened your eyes, he gave you an amused look as you took the book from his hand to revise the title.
“Your nose will grow,” you said as you read the title. It was not Advanced Arithmancy.
“You weren’t even looking,” he said simply. “The book’s fine?”
You nodded, and he started reading. Remus was an incredibly good reader, and you lost yourself on the story as he read, his hand had absentmindedly found your hair and he was carefully brushing his fingers over your scalp, like he often saw you do to comfort Sirius, you had done it to him a couple of times too, and he loved every minute of it.
You were both so immersed in the story that neither of you realised there was an owl knocking on a window until a boy from 2nd year walked down the stairs and asked if anyone was expecting mail.
You turned to look at Remus and he moved the book away to be able to see your face, you lifted yourself up while he stood and walked towards the window, opened it and retrieved a small letter from an owl’s beak.
“Thank you,” you said to the boy with a polite smile.
“You’re welcome,” he said before giving you a court nod and leaving, waving a polite goodbye.
“They said you can come,” Remus said as he sat down next to you again, showing you the letter. You took a deep breath and smiled. You wouldn’t have to spend the night alone. “Want me to help you pack?”
You nodded with a smile and the two of you walked to your room. Remus had been there before, back at the Halloween party, a soft smile played on his lips as he looked back at the memory.
Meanwhile, you took the small bag from the party that you had somehow managed to keep slung across your shoulder during the entire ordeal and started dumping everything onto your bed. Remus looked at you surprised since he had no idea you had also charmed your bag to keep so many things inside.
“Why would you take so many things to the party,” he asked as he pulled one of the three books inside the bag and started to inspect it.
“I was originally planning to sit in a corner and read something,” you admitted, “was not expecting a bigotry celebration.”
“I loved this, by the way,” you said as you pulled out the book of poems he’d made you and placed it on the desk carefully.
“You took it as well?”
You shrugged, “I wanted to read it, I haven’t gotten through all the pages,” you said honestly. Then you leaned down and picked out a small suitcase from under your bed.
Remus smiled as he looked at you, you had been so talkative at Slughorn’s party, perfectly entertaining both adult guests and other kids your age, he could barely imagine you sitting in a corner with a book in your hand, you clearly hadn’t been eager to attend said party in the first place.
“Do your parents celebrate an elegant New Year?” You asked as you pulled a few simpler clothes from your trunk, some jeans, a couple of jumpers, some thermal clothes and a couple of graphic tees.
“No wonder I can’t find my jumpers,” he said as he grabbed three of the jumpers you had pulled out.
“Sorry,” you said with a wince and a small shrug, they were all his. “So, elegant?”
“Not really?” he said with a shrug. “I mean Mum wears something nice, but it’s not like elegant wizard stuff either.”
“You think this would work?” You asked as you pulled out a simple blue dress. It had sleeves that would reach just past your elbows and a square neckline.
Remus nodded with a shrug, “Just wear something comfortable,” he said as he sat on the bed and helped bend some of the clothes you’d picked out.
“Oh, Rem, don’t worry about that, it’s–”
“Shhh,” he interrupted, “just focus on finding the stuff, we should hurry.”
You gave him a look but nodded, picking out some more stuff quickly and starting to bend it all. When you opened your suitcase he realised it had also been charmed, two rows of drawers pulled out and moved to the side, enough for you to place all you had picked and at least another 3 times that. Of course, you wouldn’t need that many clothes, so it didn’t matter if some parts of it stayed empty.
“You’re taking pyjamas?” he asked.
You hadn’t even thought about it, and quickly dug through your trunk to pull some shorts, fluffy socks, long sleeve shirts, and also some thick pants, in case it got too cold. You also walked towards the bathroom and got a toothbrush and a small set of toiletries. When you walked back, Remus was already placing all of your sleep clothes in one of the drawers.
“Thanks,” you said with an awkward smile and pulled a brush from the vanity.
Remus just shrugged in response, “No problem, luv.”
You heard a small tap on the window and walked towards it, a large black owl was leaning against the window seal. He carried a small square package in its claw, Narrow and long, wrapped in black fabric and with a letter tucked in the side. The owl waited for you to open, left the package with a small nod and flew away.
Remus and you exchanged looks before you picked it up and walked over to the bed, sitting next to him. You pulled the green ribbon and found a small letter on top, it was more of a note than a letter, though.
We attempted to retrieve your wand, unfortunately, and as you’ll see, we were late, Bella had already broken it in two. You’ll have to get a new one. Barty mentioned that you asked for the one that belonged to the girl. We had to dig through, but we found it. Hope it serves you for whatever purpose it is that you need it.
-E
“They got it back,” you whispered as you took the box and pulled it open. Your wand, like Evan said, was there in two pieces, completely broken. You pulled out the pieces with a sigh, a sad look as you stared at them.
“You’ve had it all your life?”
“Yeah,” you answered, “I got it when I was 9 so I could study ahead.” Remus gave you an incredulous look, and you shrugged. “They wanted me to perform well in my first year. They wouldn’t let me use it all the time, but Mum taught me all the basic spells, and I pinched a book of duels from my father. I accidentally charred a tree before they realised.”
Remus scoffed with a smile on his face. He shouldn’t have been surprised, you had always been a bit of a troublemaker, but imagining a little Vixen with a wand burning a tree down was certainly amusing. Either way, there was still another wand in the box. It was narrow and long, about as long as James’, perhaps a little longer, it was carved like Sirius’ but the insides had a tinge of blue, and seemed to shine as it caught the light. “Is that–”
“Nina’s wand,” you finished, swallowing thickly as you too looked inside the box. “They found it,” you added with a sad smile.
“What will you do with it?” he asked.
You shook your head, “I’m not sure,” you admitted. “I just knew I didn’t want it to be lost forever.”
“Do you know what type of wand it is?” he asked.
You shook your head in response, “Nina almost always kept her in her pocket, she tended to avoid the subject… I never asked her why.” That last part was a little harder to say, mostly because of the thought that came to your head after it, you’d never be able to ask why.
“Maybe we can give it back to a family member?”
“Her mum was there too,” you responded. “Perhaps Sybil would know,” you added with a shrug.
“If–” Remus hesitated, “If I were her, I’d want you to keep it.”
You gave him a look, and picked the wand up, shaking your head, “I doubt it.”
“No, I’m sure,” Remus insisted. “She pushed you out of the way of a spell, she would want you to be protected. If her wand could protect you the same way you protected her–”
“Tried,” you corrected. “I tried to protect her.”
Remus placed his arm over your shoulders and brought you closer to him, “Sometimes we do all that’s within our power and we still lose. It doesn’t make us any less worthy.”
You sighed, leaning your head against his shoulder, “If I take it” –you took in a breath– “If I take it then I can’t keep pretending it didn’t happen.” Your eyes were watering again. “I’d have to face it, every time I do magic, I’ll have to–”
“Hey,” Remus said softly, as he rubbed his hand on your shoulder. “Breathe, luv. Let’s leave it here for now. You can borrow my wand whenever you need magic and we’ll go to Diagon sometime on the break so you can get a wand. How does that sound?”
You blinked the tears away, quickly cleaning one that had slipped and nodded. “I’ll bring it, just in case,” you said, and gently placed the one on the drawer near the bottom. You didn’t want to see it when you looked for clothes.
Remus didn’t think it was healthy to ignore your feelings, he knew what you were doing to yourself wasn’t any better than actually processing your loss, but he had been trying to ignore his feelings for you and Sirius the last few months, and he wasn’t hypocritical enough tell you how you should process things when he himself could barely do it.
Eventually, you took a deep breath and pressed a button on the side of the suitcase. The drawers went back inside and the suitcase closed shut. You took some of the books and placed them inside the smaller bag you had taken to the party. “We’ve got books at home too,” Remus teased with a smile and you elbowed him gently.
“You said after dinner, right?” He nodded, and you turned to the clock, “We should probably go see Dumbledore then… Perhaps we can get some snacks from the kitchen on our way.”
Remus shook his head, “Mum will have dinner for us,” Remus said, "she used to be a chef, she’s always loved cooking.”
“I had no idea,” you said as you grabbed the suitcase and the bag, you left them in the common room and walked with Remus to get his own suitcase and backpack and then the two of you walked towards Dumbledore’s office.
“I see you’ve decided to go,” Dumbledore said as he saw you with the suitcase in hand.
“Remus can be very persuasive,” you replied.
He nodded and moved out of the way to let you walk towards his chimney.
Dumbledore handed over a small piece of paper to you, in neat gold, you read: Lupin’s cottage, Wales.
“Thank you,” you said as you walked over to the chimney.
“Mr. Lupin, perhaps you should go first,” Dumbledore suggested.
Remus nodded in agreement and walked inside, taking some powder from the bag and then throwing it against the floor, “Lupin’s cottage, Wales,” he said, articulating every word carefully.
“Ready?” Dumbledore asked as he offered the bag for you to take some of the green powder. You nodded and dug your hand into the bag, taking a good deal of powder and holding your fist closed tight. “Take care,” he said simply.
“Thank you, Professor,” you said as you walked inside the chimney. “Happy New Year,” you added right before taking a deep breath and saying “Lupin’s cottage, Wales.”

GENSHIN + YOU’RE MY SPECIAL FRIEND
— ꒰ including ꒱ — albedo, ayato, kazuha, scaramouche, heizou x fem! reader
— ꒰ warnings ꒱ — [ex]plicit, fem! reader, friends w benefits, secret relationship, mentions of 'good girl' in albedos part
— ꒰ ALBEDO ꒱
as someone as occupied in his own research as albedo regularly was, you on the other hand, his assistant, would bend all of your own needs and time in order to be available whenever he required your cooperation.
if you had not allowed yourself to fall victim to his natural charms, his bewitching eyes and way of speech, you'd surely detest an unprofessional relationship as the two of you were currently involved in between each other.
despite the judgment of your rational voice, you'd never ditch the chance to taste his tongue on your sizzling cunt whenever he urged you to lay down on his desk, aptly licking his hungry lips while you're opening your legs like a good, clever girl so he can suitably grind his mouth into your pussy.
"aah— albedo, wait!" you whine with a lilt of unlimited longing fizzling in your lower belly, "break time is almost over." your hand smoothed over his silky locks when he pulled his head up from in between your quivering thighs, casually sweeping your slick off his mouth with his sleeve.
"it is certainly lively outside." he's pointing out the loud chatters and noises from behind the door while leaving his eyes to skim through the empty room.
"but i do not hear any footsteps." he notes and no matter how often you'd spend time with your boss, who was also the guy who'd fuck you silly each night, you never got him figured out once.
you only nod in agreement and despite aiming at the obvious— it being the shortened time the both of you had left, albedo did not falter to lower his lips back on your puffy cunt, the rough tip of his tongue bordering precise strokes on your pussy, pulling at your folds.
"fuck—" you're arching your spine off the cold table, "right there!" and it made you feel barer, more open for him to have a better play on your weeping cunt, after all, for albedo your tasty slick felt like honey dropping down on his wet muscle, "faster!"
his face was solidly pressed in between your clamping thighs, you almost felt a bit silly by how riled up he had gotten you by now, how his mouth rolled up and down your naked core while wholly glazing his cheeks with your gooey slick.
albedo doesn't care, it's natural in his eyes. your liquids, he wanted to swallow it all.
the slight concern of time running out on you was erstwhile buried into the deepest corners of your brain, how could it not when he was that bloody good at this. and you love it, always do always will.
— ꒰ AYATO ꒱
there's not much to say when it comes to the quite, lets say, special— as well as riveting relationship that ayato and you were in.
he has devised your visits strategically and added them onto his active work life, it almost felt like he had someone else to formulate all your meetings together— since they had always been perfectly appended to each of your own doings.
ayato was readjusting his body on top of yours, determinedly delving your legs into your chest as he loomed over you with keen eyes.
"does it feel good when i do that?" you can feel his breath against your lips when he wiggled his hips a little deeper into your core, "or that?" fuck, you almost wanted to shove him into the mattress yourself and ride him mindless but you couldn't, not when he was that good at taking the lead.
"y— yes!" the sudden switch in his strokes drowned the words in your throat, and though his ruts weren't fast, they were all the more deeper and precise, battering each and every drumming blotch in your warm tingling insides.
"what a shame that i can only meet you like this."
his sentence was sudden— and a bit cheesy, you weren't sure if you had imagined it in the heat of the moment. "wha— what?"
your fingers slowly ran up from his shoulders to his sharp jawline when you cradled his left cheek to make him look at you, but ayato didn't speak nor elaborate on his words, even when you asked him once more.
rather did he now indulge in your soft hand on his face, your touch seemed so loving and felt so warm, a weak whine spilling like a subdued chime into your ears. He placed his lips on top of yours and soothed your trembling thighs with slow, benign circles.
every raw drag of his imposing girth had your hole insatiably clench down on him, you could feel your core jammed of his cock, crying out his name which would always fill him with great pride.
it was all the way exhilarating when he began to control your body, bit by bit, when his cock fiercely rubbed all the squealing words out of your straining throat.
his thrusts are calculated, relentless in their sweet ministrations. He eyed the white liquid around his girth when he pulled his cock out— but leaving his tip in, observing how you stammered after each beg, pouted your lips so he'd fill you up again.
— ꒰ KAZUHA ꒱
kazuha was an independent human being who had always dreamed of traveling all across the various nations of teyvat and taking in its beauty.
there was so much to admire about him, really.
however, it wasn't as if he didn't ever think about entering a serious relationship with someone, the thought clearly didn't put him off or anything because if he ever so desired it, it'd be with no other than you.
yet right now, the little thing you both had going on was more than enough in his eyes.
"ah—" he's awkwardly clearing his throat when he noticed your lips tightly seal around his flushed tip, "you're quite impatient tonight." he notes, after all you had him breathless under you, words failing to be spoken out by him when he greeted you with a gentle smile instead.
you're confidently latching onto his cock and turning his body to nothing but jelly while you're gingerly suckling into the sensitive skin.
your fingers travelled from his stiff length to his balls, holding them in your palm. You're toying with kazuha, tracing little heart shapes over his skin when you retorted back in abruptly sliding him down your warm mouth, impatiently gushing around his girth.
kazuha feels your tongue again and his mind rewires, he was squirming and gripping the damp sheets under him, watching you hide his cock in your mouth, over and over, your dainty hand carefully pummeling his balls to add to the coil forming in his belly.
"mhh—" you're humming while looking nothing but innocent, curling your tongue around the rough edges of his cock. You can feel him poke into your throat and how the corners of your lips shimmered with his arousal.
that combining curl, of your corked, pretty lips sloppily guzzling his pre while you're hollowing your cheeks to have it your way, to have his mind corrupted and mind wrapped around the tip of your finger.
kazuha was a thimbleful away to his striking release and he didn't wanted to waste it, not tonight when you've been so good to him, instead he longed to cum all over your burning throat and cover your flesh with a treacly, milky white.
— ꒰ SCARAMOUCHE ꒱
that little gasp you always let out whenever scaramouche first jostled his erect cock past your entrance, one inch— and another, while his middle finger meticulously outlined the contours of your smoldering clit.
could it be due to the fact that you barely saw him as it was? maybe that‘s what made the alluring mischiefs between you both all the more exciting to begin with.
scaramouche only ever decided to come over at your place whenever he had gotten a bit too frustrated over the weeks, maybe angry, as well as bored or (which mostly was the case) all three of those combined into one big flock of rustling emotions.
"what’s wrong?" he’s phony to you, he likes how you roll your eyes whenever he’s a brat to you on purpose.
his spoken words too, had a hidden meaning behind them, but it didn‘t feel bad, the passion was there and so was the rest of the affection— a fervor he had been put out on sight for you.
"m— more please." the shadow of his eyes made you shudder, his looks alone had you in a chokehold— in a daze of refined elation.
those two words you had spelled out, but the way you said it, lewd and between vicious cries, it had scaramouche heavily burn into his own pride, because he needed that confirmation from you.
"oh, really now?" he clicks his tongue, "but of course, anything you want."
his arms hug around your head when he continued to pistole his length into you, turn the swollen, thick tip of his cock further into your hole and send it pummeling through your mushy skin.
you were comfortable under him and pressed your face into his shoulder, your mouth slacked and your throat clamped together. If you did try to sob or squeal at him now, it‘ll sting, so so much you just wanted to tell him how great he fucked you right now and how you deserved to cum already.
at another harsh blow of his hips, the noises of your little pussy grew mushy and wet— the whole thing was disgustingly ravenous and you felt it all, each rill and curve of his cock, thighs clamping down on either side of him when he growled out at the heavy tightness.
how dare you feel so fucking good and how dare your walls clung on his girth him like that? as if you're actually made for him and only him.
"fuck— fuck." his body reacted on its own and he growls at your constricting hole, shoving his face into your neck to hide his— in his words, embarrassing expression, "you better stop doing that!"
— ꒰ HEIZOU ꒱
shikanoin heizou to you, was like a chocolate bar in the fridge, you can take it out whenever you wanted and put it right back where it belonged the second you had satisfied your cravings.
he's nothing but a convenience, something you never quite believed was for you to find him more than just alluring, he was a menace and almost instantly, when his rough hands polish over your skin, your back arches into his sweltering touch.
everything simply felt like it was way too much, you were barely able to seethe of the heftiness on heizou's cock in you.
you hiccup in midst your own wordings, more when he suddenly began to pinch your little clit in step with his thrusts, again and again— you feel hot and throbbing, it stung when he lightly twirled the flesh in between his finger tips.
"heizou— heizou!" the force of his hammering into you had you clamp your hands against his back, your nails scratching alongside the outlines of his burning muscles.
you thought you were certainly going to end up mindless by the realization of his skin meeting your own way faster— better and all the more precise.
"i can't hear you." he coos, noticing how you're clenching down, muscles tensing and then letting go, again, your puffy clit shimmering with your own arousal. "you're doing too— too much."
heizou gave your clit a couple thumps with his hand, smacking the smoldering flesh, not too hard, he actually just wanted to see how you'd react.
now after his words, his intrusion into you had been lowered, slow, painfully slow but wasn't that what you wanted? even if you were to say to him to pick up the pace again, he wouldn't do it, because you lost your privileges to order him around.
because you see, heizou was letting you feel everything now— he's leaving his cock inside, listening to your strangled moans of his name when you sobbed at every vein, jump of his curves and scream when he almost bottomed out again.
"what's the matter? i'm doing what you say." he purrs and muffles himself into your neck to have his lips on the same height as your ear.
"but you can always beg me to go faster, maybe i'll listen."

(i saw a thing once that said a pairing becomes ur otp when u relate to one of the characters and want to fuck the other one, and 🙈 i mean, i think you're supposed to relate to the gryffindor, aren't you. whoops.)
OKAY SO HERE'S THE UNHINGED DRACO MALFOY ESSAY BY FLUX W. EED.
listen. i love and respect people who are Refined Draco enjoyers. connoisseurs of redemption arcs. appreciators of majestic malfoy bone structure and ethereal grey eyes and soft windswept hair. fans of dracos who insult harry (with hidden affection) and who are a bit snobbish (in a rich, sexy way) but ultimately have realised the error of their teenage years and have become a better person. perhaps this draco has built a potions business and helps the aurors. perhaps he IS an auror. either way, he has a biting sense of humour, maybe, but he's a good guy.
unfortunately, the draco of my heart is a horrid mean little rat man.
i've never actually managed to write him the way i love him. i tried to aim for immoral bastardy in what's mine is yours but i got so caught up in trying to nail the feelsforbreakfast-style humour in the narrative that i ended up focusing much more on that and much less on writing genuine bastardhood.
i've written him as reserved and clever (in the four doors – this draco was written entirely for @jovialobservationanchor, who had a weak spot for closed-off academics with soft centres) and as a traumatised self-loathing mess (in two to lie and to some extent for lack of wanting and say no to this) and hopelessly sexually/emotionally horny for one harry james potter (in, um, most things) but i've never managed to capture the genuine cruel streak and flawed personality that is sooo so important to me.
WHICH IS WHY i picked țuică!draco for my favourite of the ones i've written. he's still a bit too emotionally intelligent to be Just Right, imo, but i think he's maybe the closest? he's unrepentantly rude to people. he's not attractive. and he has a streak of self-destructive fucked-upedness that is some form of wartime guilt, but certainly not a pretty one.
HOWEVER. rookie moves?? NAILED it. i adooored how genuinely fuckin MEAN he is, even tho he's an auror. i love love LOVED that he's kind of bad at his job in a way that's in complete opposition to how drarry!draco is often written these days:
The look on Malfoy’s face was not only troubling, Harry realized, but familiar. At once activated and dead behind the eyes, like an invasive species in an ecosystem that could not check it. It was the look of the meanest fucking teenager Harry had ever known, giving in to his urge to bully.
-
What Malfoy wasn’t good with was people. Despite his repeated insistences that his upbringing had equipped him with impeccable manners and a facility with society intrigue, the truth was that he rubbed almost everyone the wrong way. He was, undeniably, annoying. Witnesses were put off by his snide, dismissive tone, and he didn’t know how to coax out information with curiosity, warmth, or strategic silence.
that's not to say unrepentant cunt draco is the only one for me!! i DO enjoy the classic redeemed drarry draco!! i love a quirky draco, à la wwpwcs or maya's drop dead gorgeous. gallaplacidia's draco is sooo painful for me to read (complimentary) that even though i adore her fics, i still haven't read them all bc i have to space them out, for my health. and i'm sure there are dozens more dracos that i'm forgetting how much i like – basically, as long as he isn't super suave, absolutely gorgeous and/or obviously tom felton, i'm on board.
#also ohsodraco i'm lowkey starstruck that ur in my inbox + ao3 comments#i've been following u from my main acc for approx a thousand years#i'm all aflutter#also speaking of being starstruck#v glad that peu doesn't seem to have tumblr so she might not see me being weird about her fic AGAIN#nobody send this to her god#i've embarrassed myself enough as it is#ALSO. i have a poll saved in my tumblr drafts abt that 'otp = want to fuck/relate to' theory but i am too scared to post it#bc i'd be so embarrassed if it got like 2 votes lmao#someone with a Following pls promise to reblog it so i can gather data bc i'm sooo interested to know whether it's true

Could you write an agnst scene inspired by this sketch please 👉👈?(no pressure of course)
ALED YOU’RE SO EVIL!!!
I’ve taught you well >:3
And yes I will GLADLY write something extra angsty for this! Hope I can make the illustration justice!
TW: Blood, character death.
It was cold.
The atmosphere was chilling in the deep dark woods of Rosas, but it wasn't the common weather of the night, there was something different. It was quiet, ominous, even the animals could feel something was coming, and perhaps that's because of the wishing star currently hiding from the evil sorcerer king.
So far, all Aster's attempts of stealing the magic staff failed miserably, at this point, the star boy is getting quite frustrated, and so was the king.
"I don't know about you, but I'm getting quite fed up by this game of tag, little one" Magnifico sensed Aster's presence nearby, he didn't even raise his voice, knowing the star could hear him. The king chuckled darkly as he walked through the woods "So how about you just come out and fight me like a man?"
Aster was hanging on a tree, far away from the king's line of sight. They smiled, for that comment just gave the star an idea on how to get under the king's nerves some more.
"I'm not a man though" Aster chimed in from the tree tops, his voice echoing all around.
The king didn't know where the voice was coming from as it seemed to come from all sides, but he could tell by the overconfidence in the star's tone that they were trying to throw him off his focus
"Well, yeah I know Bu-"
"I'm a star" Aster interrupted with a child like playfulness in his voice
"... Sure- But that's not my po-"
"This whole gender thing humans have going on is so weird honestly"
Magnifico could practically hear Aster's smirk, which peeved the evil king even more
"Listen here boy-"
"Not a boy heh eheheh" Aster giggled
"SHUT UP! UGH YOU ROTTEN BRAT!" The king was on his last nerve, much to Aster's delight
(Fun fact, this is a deleted scene I wanted to include in KOW to emphasize Aster is nonbinary (He/They). But the scene didn't fit, so I'm glad I can recycle it here)
Aster smiles victorious, but the king's next statement caught him off guard "You think you can beat me by vexing?! HA! This is not a battle of wits, lad! It’s a battle of strength, something you clearly lack!”
Lack strength? Why? Because he can’t hurt others? That’s not a weakness, Aster knows that, to inflict pain on others doesn’t make you strong, it just makes you cruel. Aster knows very well that strength comes from many places, and he’d NEVER be “strong” the way Magnifico is.
“I’ve got plenty of strength, actually” Aster claimed wisely “I’m strong in the ways that matter. Strong to care, to keep trying, and to trust my friends even if all odds are against us…” a smile grows as Aster thinks of yet another remark to throw at the king “Also, you’re one to talk hehheh without that magic staff you’d be as strong as any average nobody”
Oh, Magnifico was officially pissed off. He wanted to wipe that smile off the star’s face in any way possible… And Aster’s comment about “friends” just gave him an idea
“Oh yeees, your friends, of course… All 7 of them huh?” The king had an wicked smile as he casually brought up the 7 teens
“Yup! All sev-“ Aster stops himself onde realization hit him like a truck… “W-wait… How did yo-“
“If I were you, I’d be more careful with who I place my trust” Magnifico’s eyes scanned the trees above, trying to spot any glimpse of yellow light that could be Aster hiding. His wicked smile only grew as he noted the star’s silence, that was exactly the reaction he wanted “For example, trusting that the son of my most loyal knight wouldn’t spill your plans? Tsk tsk tsk not very strategic~”
“… Simon?” Aster muttered in a shaky whisper
The king and queen knew their plan?… So that means-
“Asha!”
Aster quickly jumped from the tree branch he was hiding, revealing his location to the king. But Magnifico had no time to capture the star, no, in the blink of an eye Aster was already flying towards the castle, leaving the sorcerer all alone in the dark woods
“……….. *sigh* Cursed be my monologuing mouth” Magnifico sighs in frustration as he began flying with his magic, back to the castle he calls home.
Aster flew faster than the wind itself, the usual optimistic star had his head filled with worst case scenarios of what Asha and the others could be going through. What if Magnifico set up a trap? Or what if the guards caught them?? Or even worse, what if the QUEEN caught them???
No no no. Aster can't think like that, Asha has a magic pencil and her sketchbook after all, she can handle herself without him just fine... Right?
Aster reached the top of the tower, and upon entering though the window, he was met with a shocking sight
Asha and Queen Amable were dueling with swords, Asha using a hand drawn one, while Amaya used one made of metal, that was strikingly sharp.
Aster instinctively called out to her
"ASHA!"
Aster doesn't know why they just did that.
Neither of the two women had noticed his presence before that scream.
Aster could've disarmed Amaya.
Aster could've just moved Asha out of the way.
There were so many things the star could've done...
But he chose to scream.
Making Asha lose her focus.
She took her eyes out of Amaya for one second, turning to the source of her lover's voice.
One second was all Amaya needed.
S L A S H
Asha didn't even have time to speak a word...
The piercing blade cut right through her heart.
The star did not move.
It was like time itself had stopped for him, and deep down, Aster wished it'd stay frozen. They didn't want this nightmare to keep going.
But it kept going, once the queen swiftly pulled the sword out of the girl, her wide smile was reminiscent of a crescent moon.
Once the sword left her body, Asha fell to the ground like a puppet whose strings have been cut.
Aster finally felt movement return to their limbs, as he caught her in his arms just before she hit the floor. His protective embrace was so firm it was like he was trying to keep her from falling apart... She didn't hug him back.
"A-... As-ter" She croaked in agony, barely able to breathe and let alone speak, as she felt her body grow weaker and her mind become hazy.
"I'M HERE! I-IT'S OKAY! Yo-you're okay!" The star's panicked screams made Asha flinch, with everything sounding even louder in her head. Aster realized that, and with an wavering voice they try to comfort her "I'm sorry... I- I'm here with you now, just keep breathing-"
Aster's soothing words were muffled by the queen's sickening cackle, followed by an heartless rebuttal of the star's whispers
"Oh something tells me she won't "keep breathing" for much longer, dearie" there was no sign of pity or remorse behind those eyes, just sadistic mirth as she watched the girl's violet dress slowly turn crimson.
If only looks could kill. Aster tear filled eyes glared at Amaya like he wanted her to catch on fire, much like the burning flames that was set ablaze on his forever moving hair.
But even with all that rage, the star tried to ignore the older woman. Asha needed him now. They turned to look at her face and-
...
Her eyes no longer had that spark Aster fell in love with...
There was no glimmer of light...
No sign of life at all...
She was gone.
...
Aster just kept staring at Asha's vacant expression, his eyes wide and pupils shrunken. The star held onto her lifeless body carefully, shaky hands still caressing her hair as if she could still feel it.
Amaya just walked away from the two of them, a victorious smile plastered on her face, as she admired her own reflection on the now blood stained blade in her hands. She sat on a comfortable velvety chair in the study, to wait for her king's return.
She was not at all afraid of the literal star in the room, after all, her husband assured her they were harmless, a being literally incapable of hurting or killing anyone. So she was eager to just sit and cruelly watch and make fun of the boy's misery.
Aster was oh so aware that he couldn't hurt her... But he wanted to.
The young star could already hear the stars above, calling for him. They were watching through the open window, urging him to just leave, go back to the sky, accept he failed to save Asha but he can at least save Rosas by not letting the king capture him... But Aster didn't want to run.
He recalled an old song he heard once, a song that old stars sang when they were on their last dying breaths. The other stars always said he should never repeat that song in his young age, otherwise he'd be a danger to those around... But that's exactly what Aster wanted to be right now.
And so... Aster began to sing it.
(........... In case you don't know what this song is about, hi, welcome to the madness that is my rewrite, and HERE is a blog about some AUs I made. Go read it and skip straight to the "Aster turns himself into a blackhole" part to learn what this is all about, cause' I'll actually skip the whole Aster morphing into a blackhole bit, sorry, but basically same thing that happened in that AU blog happens here: He sings, slowly goes crazy and creepy, Amaya has her soul sucked out of her yaaaay let's move on)
Magnifico was pretty much sprinting on air as he used his magic to make himself levitate to the castle, it was a shame that his magic limited him to only fly as fast as he could run.
"*huff* *puff* Ough I'm too old for this" The king was panting as he reached the tower's window, his head lowered as he attempted to catch his breath, but he still chimed in to cheerfully call his wife "Darling I'm home~ heheh I trust you've given our little star a warm wel-"
The king shuts up with a gasp stuck on his throat. For once, he was speechless.
Asha's body was laying on the ground, that was to be expected, it's by far the least shocking thing in the room for him.
What truly made his world shatter was witnessing his queen laying lifeless on the floor, it was clear she was not breathing. The pain in his blue sky eyes ran so deep one could even feel sorry for him, but there was no one in the room to care about his tears...
For the only living thing in the room had no mercy left to give.
"So, your highness" the former star uttered the tittle with sarcasm, as he walked around Amaya's corpse, his pitch-black eyes stared at her almost as if they were admiring their own work. And he kept not making eye contact with the king as he asked "Is this strong enough for ya?"
It was cold.

Very proud of how this one turned out, thank you @uva124 for the inspiration!

yanqing & yunli except i headcanon yunli as audhd so it’s yanqing and his disaster gf
i’ve seen this one really really really sweet couple on insta, it’s a nt guy and his audhd wife and theyre so sweet. he takes the time to understand her and how their brains are different and it’s so lovely. anyways i kind of imagine yanli like that when their relationship develops more. especially because we got to see them outside of their squabbling in the last part of the tb quest—they work together well; they actually have grown to trust and respect each other (there’s also a dialogue if you choose to talk to yunli before confronting hoolay w/ feixiao where she compliments yanqing on his finishing atk and asks him to teach it to her—she even lightheartedly admits he might be stronger than her), and i feel that their trust and respect will only grow more with time. and of course they will always squabble and pick at each other
so to elaborate on audhd yunli, first off we all know how blunt and stubborn she is. her thinking is so straightforward that even her fighting style is “smash with big stick, everything die” (she prefers brute force over strategy or dexterity—doesn’t mean she can’t strategize, i just mean to point out that even in her fighting she gets straight to the point which i find amusing). i adore her so much my beautiful autistic daughter. special interest is swords. yanqing gets an honorable mention because he’s also obsessed with swords but i think he’s just a sword nerd who collects swords while yunli’s interest goes into the forging, the history, the personalities of the swords
yunli: we may both be obsessed with swords but i am obsessed with them in a much deeper and more autistic way than you could ever be
i have also considered though that yanqing could be headcanoned as having adhd; he’s impulsive, and i do still love the idea from pjo of demigods having an advantage in battle because of their adhd. reminds me of yanqing, he’s a hyperactive little dude bouncing all over the place in battle and idk. he’s also just. a teenage boy. so idk, remains to be determined
anyways i just hc that in all parts of yunli’s life except for anything having to do with swords she’s a complete mess and a ticking time bomb. everything in her room is a mess—except her swords (and old mettle is given the most pristine treatment). she’ll ignore any expectations put upon her unless it has to do with swords or something else she’s a little interested in. she has a few safe foods she eats on rotation in mass amounts.
also im imagining her in school and all i can picture is the leg bounce and the thousand yard stare. +10000 aura she doodles swords on all her papers. every project where students are given enough creative liberty and freedom to choose their topic, you fucking bet yunli is going to talk about swords in one way or another. idk how school works on the xianzhou zuming or frankly anywhere in hsr, but i guess that doesnt matter and i dont really care
also her sense of justice and tunnel vision with cursed swords. it’s so black and white to her (it has a lot to do with trauma ofc, but still i see that same kind of black/white thinking and extreme sensitivity to injustice as a trait on the spectrum).
i also would like to share headcanons about her sensorial and tactical development as a child lol. something about her screams sensory seeking. i use the korean voiceover, and i ADORE how they’ve voiced her and the direction they went. i haven’t listened to the english much, but from what ive heard she seems a lot more softspoken, which isn’t at all wrong or bad, it just is different than what i expected. in the kvo she’s got this monotone shrill going on that little girls with zero vocal control have and it’s fantastic. i hc she has no sense of volume whatsoever, can’t perceive her voice and doesn’t realize she’s shouting, things like that. it really fits with how she acted in her story quest, she’s just absolutely tone-deaf, both literally with her voice and figuratively with social cues, reading the room, etc.
practicing with old mettle has got to be so fucking loud, she’s throwing that shit around and it’s going CLANG CLANG CLANG and there’s no way she doesn’t have massive tolerance to high sensory input. for kids who are on the extreme end of high sensory needs, they’ll sometimes just seek out loud noises constantly, and of course, won’t realize it might be disruptive to others because they don’t even feel like it’s loud. so yeah yunli stims by throwing swords around because hell yeah. the fucking CLANG CLANG CLANG regulates her nervous system i just know it🗣️🔥
while some people are just born with dif sensory needs/issues, they can also develop due to your sensory experience, or lack thereof, as a child. kids who weren’t held/interacted with enough might have difficulty with lots of sensory input, while on the other hand (i dont know this one for sure, i am making a guess) i would think that a lot of exposure to excess sensory input might cause that kid to develop high sensory needs.
and that’s what i think with yunli would be part of her sensory issues, whether or not we’re even talking about autism—she grew up in the forgery around all that constant noise, not to mention the traumatic cursed sword event which could have exacerbated the way all that affected her nervous system because it also messed with her emotions and trauma is stored in the body AND she was a child, yadda yadda :3
i could keep going but idk this has been in my drafts for so long bc i kept thinking of shit and i didnt even talk that much about yanli
the reason i see them as disaster gf and nt bf is because although we’ve seen yanqing being a little shit, so much of that is about his maturity level as he’s still a teen. i just feel it and can’t articulate it well, i just feel that he’s got a calm spirit in there somewhere and as he grows he’s going to become so measured and patient and self-disciplined and it’s fantastic i want to see him grow into a fine young man (i know we probably wont but i can imagine it😞). it feels like that’s the direction he’s going with all the development from the recent tb quest, not to mention the parallels he has with jingliu
i hope this makes sense to others and not just me, for some reason i really see them as the wholesome nd girl and nt boy unlikely wombo combo cause yanqing has so much spunk and fire and yunli has so much spunk and fire but neurodivergently and they just burst into flames around each other but as they grow older it will wane and they will fan it down into glowing embers, soft and warm in the hearth; yanqing will hold her explosive spirit in his hands so gently, he’ll admire and understand her like no one else because somehow he just gets her, and she thrives in his comforting warmth. and when yanqing’s spirit crumbles and he loses that warmth and loses faith in himself, yunli can remind him of his strength and reinstall his sense of justice; she also brings the fresh autistic perspective of carefree innocence and autonomy that i feel yanqing needs in times where he might be overwhelmed by expectations or outside opinions. i just ugh i just . i love them i am going to throw up they’re beautiful and i just think that autistic yunli being understood by neurotypical yanqing is something that is so important to. society at large ,
#i hope this makes sense (i. dont know(#yanqing#yunli#yanqing x yunli#yunli x yanqing#yanyun#yanli#help#!stxrmod#!poetry of the luofu#hsr#honkai star rail#honkai sr#hsr yanqing#hsr yunli#hsr incorrect quotes#incorrect hsr#hsr ships#autism#asd#autistic characters#hsr headcanons#ship headcanons#yunli headcanons#yanqing headcanons#nd characters#neurodivergent characters#adhd characters#!stxrship

me copy pasting my leona rant from that reblog in a separate post for all to see because i can
bro is just the smartest most cunning and intelligent guy ever. like yeah hes hot and strong but we NEED to talk more about just how much of a strategical GENIUS this man is. he knows just how strong and skilled he is which means in any situation he can immediately judge whoever hes up against and instantly know just how much strength and power to use to win. like he knew in book 6 the second he wasnt gonna win against the styx ppl and knew when to back down but every other situation he knows just how much power to use to win which they like confirm in book 6 he uses just enough to win and never more because he can perfectly judge a situation and like ik on the surface what most people notice about leona is how strong and powerful he is and i mean yeah hes like one of THE strongest people in nrc (in my personal opinion second only to malleus in magic but still more physically strong and more strategic than him) BUT WE NEVER TALK ENOUGH ABOUT THE CUNNING GENIUS THIS MAN IS he is so aware all the time and always knows exactly whats going on, so many events and chapters hes always mentally 5 steps ahead and knows whats going on well before anyone else. i cant remember the exact example but like in the halloween event from this year or smthn he like had a total understanding of the situation long before anyone else cuz hes just so smart and like hes smart like book smart but more importantly hes just aware in ways no one else really is. and about him being book smart i fully believe leona would have some of the highest grades in nrc if he applied himself. the few times he does he does like better than everyone else AND THATS W HIM SKIPPING CLASS SO MUCH imagine if he actually tried and went to class hed 100% have the best grade this man is so intelligent he just sees no reason to go to class because it is frankly useless to him he already knows all that stuff which is why he skips he already knows it so whats the point. like everyone sees leona as lazy but the stuff leonas lazy about is stuff that theres no point to try because he already knows hes better than everyone and thats his thing he doesnt need anyone elses approval he knows where he stands and feels no need to prove his worth to anyone else and i think thats actually so admirable. like for how much we say his low effort is depression (which it deff in part is) its also definitely him not feeling the need to prove himself to anyone because he knows how great he is and doesnt care if anyone thinks other wise because he knows theyre wrong so who cares. and i know he has a big ego but like.. HE CAN BACK IT UP. his ego is all from his own skill and talent this man NEVER claims something he cant back up which its like... ur ego is annoying but whats more annoying is theres valid reasoning behind it because HE JUST IS THAT GREAT
so i fully believe if leona had a significant other hed do everything to give them anything they could want. a lot of fics i read paint leona as this guy who wont really do something for his partner, or will just make someone else do it, and while in some cases i do believe hed deff like make ruggie go grab something or smthn i also believe hed want to take care of his partner. like sometimes its difficult to take care of yourself, but oh so easy to take care of someone else because its not you. and i fully believe this would apply to leona. if he has something, and its his he 100% takes care of it. he will put in the effort for someone else. he wont put in the effort for himself but for his partner? in a heartbeat. like even somethin small and typically annoying to do the only complaints youd hear are joking ones while hes already doing whatever you asked. and he also deff knows what to do for his partner before even they know. like i said before this man is canonically sooooo aware and that would deff hold up in a relationship. rarely have to ask for anything because hes already guessed what you want and is on it. also a lot of time i see people saying leona would want to brag about their partner and while i think this is true to an extent i also feel like hed want to keep his partner all to himself. something for just him that no one else needs to know about, or have their own opinions, or make their own comments.

Kogami not calling but VISITING Akane in S3
I think Ko visiting Akane in S3 was a powerful and symbolic gesture, and not just in the obvious ways. Consider the fact that the last phone call they had with one another ended w/ Akane hanging up on Ko. Of course, being present in a "real" sense remains consistent with his character/personality, and we have seen Kogami be more grounded/old fashioned in his approach to life and its obstacles throughout the series. Like his preference for traditional books as opposed to digital renditions or like in the manga extras, where we see Ko and the other new MFA agents all assuming their meeting w/ the CID would be physical. They even strategize on how best to infiltrate the building (I mean, what even guys? LOL Are you not INVITED and expected at this meeting or what? I CAN'T with these dorks xD). So we could assume his natural inclination in most situations is to simply show up. It could also be remnants from his life during his travels, when such luxuries like virtualized meetings were not readily available. It totally makes sense. Now, let me put on my shipper goggles.
Ko is still feeling the aftershocks of the second reunion with Akane and their subsequent separation and it is hinted at in the exchange between Mika and Gino at the beginning of the season. During this conversation, Gino states (quite confidently) that he does NOT need to go see Akane. Gino is aware that there are elements at play here and is adamant in his support for Akane, as well as his faith in their bond. They have had years to foster their relationship with one another and it shows. Ko...not so much.
Ko and Akane's relationship has been through quite a few dynamic shifts as the series has progressed and it's been wonderful to watch it all unfold. At this point in the story, Ko may not feel as confident in his standing with Akane as the others. Their last exchange saw him being unapologetic in saving her life (Thus discarding the mission objective) and then subsequently devastated by Akane's letter to him while Ko served his time. It's safe to assume that Ko has spent the entirety of Akane's incarceration running back the events of Providence and how it all led them to this.
A mere phone call is not enough for Ko at this stage in their relationship. Throughout the series, we have seen that Kogami draws comfort from Akane, primarily by sight and sound. Hearing her voice reminded Ko of the heavy toll he'd paid in his pursuit of Makishima. Seeing her sleeping face after waking up in the hospital room set him at ease as he took a moment to simply WATCH her. This is all before Providence. After the years have gone by, and he has finally made his way back onto home turf, the only thing really stopping Ko from seeing Akane is Kogami himself and a few security clearances. If that's all there really is to it, then it comes as no suprise to anyone when the visitation scene opens up with Ko leaning up against Akane's cell door.
Ko cannot face Akane during most of their exchange in this scene, another indicator that Ko is unsure in his position in Akane's world. It won't be the first time the subject has crossed Ko's mind either. Providence's novel gave us some insight, as we see Ko think about what he is to Akane and what Akane is to him. This is just before he bites the bullet and makes that infamous call on the balcony. He is aware that there is SOMETHING between them, but I believe Ko is not ready to dive too deeply into the origins/aspects of these feelings at that time.
The ghost of the conversation Ko had with Saiga in Providence is still haunting him too, years later... So much so, that one of the first things out of his mouth once he is finally standing face to face with Akane is an apology. The atmosphere between the two is both awkward and sweet and it feels a bit like, and I'll take a moment to adjust my shipping goggles here... it feels more like an exchange between a previously estranged couple finally coming to an understanding with one another rather than two friends burying the hatchet. That's just my take on it at least.

― pairing : Wonwoo x fem! reader ― content warnings : fluff, wolf au, wonwoo is a witch, reader is a wolf, medieval settings ― word count : 2.800 ― notes : ⚠️ this fic doesn not mean I will start writing series for seventeen as well! I love them a lot but my brain wouldn’t handle writing for 13 people… But Wonwoo lives in my life rent free although he’s not even my bias so here goes nothing⚠️
― notes : this fic looks familiar?it is! I’m reposting ALL my works on this brand new blog and therefore please, bear with me! as always, askbox is always open and feedbacks are always welcome 💌
It happened on the third day you had silently returned to your house right next to the woods; you were hunting for something to eat, when all of a sudden, in the distance, you saw him.
Wonwoo was lazily walking around while the dark green cloak he was wearing was obediently following his movements, his eyes analysing the grass while looking from some kind of herb, and you guessed that he must have embraced his warlock side; unlike him, you knew he could use magic – when you were kids he loved to show you all the spells he learnt, but Wonwoo didn’t know about you being a wolf.
Since you were both very young when you left your village, sometimes you wondered what he would have done if he ever found out that you could shift into another creature, but you felt like laughing at yourself for your own naive thoughts. After all, Wonwoo had always made you feel at ease, and he had always made you feel safe; you were certain that he would have accepted it easily. Would he?
Among the things you absolutely hated the most, hunters were definitely on top of the list, especially because they always found creative ways to camouflage their traps.
Despite it’s been more than ten long years since the first time you learnt how to properly shift into a wolf, and despite the fact you had always been careful while wandering through the woods, you had to admit to yourself that you have been an absolute idiot.
Probably, you were just genuinely happy to have returned to your village after such a long absence imposed by your mother, who was both extremely happy because in your family, only women were able to shift into wolves, but also extremely worried since she didn’t want you to hurt anyone on accident before you were completely sure to be able to tame your wolf side. Probably, you have been genuinely taken aback from the sight of your long time crush wandering in the woods as if he was walking in starlight.
Although you wanted to remain where you were – strategically hidden behind an oak tree, and enjoy the sight of Wonwoo strolling through the woods, you realized that your priority, at the moment, was to head back home and tend your wounds; even though your reflexes prevented your foreleg to completely be stuck into the iron toothed trap, you had been roughly scratched by it, and leaving traces of fresh blood all around the place definitely was not a wise option.
On his behalf, Wonwoo definitely was not naive; he had been walking through the woods for years, and he quickly realized that he was not alone. Unbeknownst to you, the warlock kept his attention focused on the general direction where you were, and therefore, he easily noticed when you decided to head the opposite way.
«Hey, wait.» you heard Wonwoo’s deep voice gently call for you; instinctively, you stopped in your tracks, wincing in pain as you slightly lifted your right foreleg, hoping in vain for the latter not to notice that you were hurt.
«It’s okay,» he called out again, easily closing the distance between the two of you, walking around your frame and crouching down in front of you – almost purposely making himself smaller and an easy target, just to make you feel less threatened; the warlock’s dark green cape was now crumpled on the ground, and the small basket full of herbs he was carrying with himself was right next to his left knee, «I won’t hurt you, I promise.» he kept talking with a gentle voice, as if he already knew that wolves understood human language, since part of them could shift into a human form, while the ones who couldn’t shift, simply got used to constantly hear human language.
Eventually, you walked closer to him, trying not to push too much of your weight on your injured limb as best as you could; for whatever reason, you were almost shy to meet his eyes, as if you were embarrassed about tripping directly into a hunter’s cage because you were secretly happy to see him.
Wonwoo carefully followed your moves with a small frown, which immediately turned into a gentle expression as soon as your nose was few inches from his.
«You must be a new one, I haven’t seen you around before.» he spoke balancing his elbows on his knees, and carefully studying your frame; again, you avoided meeting his gaze. In your human form, you had a scar on your left cheek; a permanent reminder of that day when you were seven years old, playing hide and seek with Wonwoo as the two of you decided to adventure in the woods. A scar that of course was meant to show on your wolf form as well, in an ugly line of missing fur right under your left eye.
Unbeknownst to you, Wonwoo’s eyes lingered on that small scar, but your brain was still processing a particular sentence he had just spoke; were there other wolves around? By all meant you were trespassing someone’s territory.
“This is definitely not good.” you thought, the last thing you wanted was to challenge some alpha over a territory. But, however, if there was really a pack of wolves around, why didn’t you felt anything? Usually, an uneasy feeling would spread in your stomach, almost as you felt anxious about intruding someone’s home without authorization.
«Can I see that wound?» Wonwoo asked you, snapping you out of your thoughts, and stupidly enough, you instinctively met his gaze. Although the warlock had definitely grown into a handsome young man, you noticed that one thing had remained just as when the two of you were kids: his glasses seemed to continuously threaten to fall off his nose, which made him appear extremely cute and adorable, despite his sharp features.
However, what made your heart race was a very definite feeling within your soul; Wonwoo met your gaze and your soul felt calm, as if you were howling at the moon in a summer night.
“He’s my soulmate.” you thought. Wonwoo extended his hand towards you, and you sat on the ground, placing your injured paw on the palm of his hand; he carefully analysed it, his fingertips gently moving around the fur over the wound, before eventually, you saw his eyes flashing a bright golden colour. The warlock quietly mumbled few words which you couldn’t understand, and before you realized it, the pain you had felt had completely stopped.
«All done, make sure to pay attention around here.» he gently commented, and you immediately ran home with a racing heart.
Whether that night you laid in bed in your human form, staring at your right hand without managing to fall asleep, that’s a secret for only you to know.
Within the following days you had met Wonwoo almost on a daily basis, although – when you were by yourself, you kept avoiding walking too close to the village while being in your human form; sometimes, you had the feeling that Wonwoo suspected something, but how could he? He couldn’t read your mind, could he?
“I wonder if he feels different, if he missed me,” you silently questioned yourself as your thoughts wandered on dangerous territories, “I wonder if he will accept me as his mate.”
A month later, Wonwoo had basically turned you into his familiar; it wasn’t rare for you to spend your days in his garden as he was either busy creating some strange looking potion or doing the laundry, but nevertheless, anytime he asked you whether you wanted to go to the village with him, you always refused, immediately going back home. “It’s not my territory.” you reminded yourself every time.
Spring afternoons were extremely relaxing, and strangely enough, the small section of grass in Wonwoo’s little garden seemed to be more comfortable than all the wild grass which covered the woods. The warlock was on his knees, palatially leaned over a wide wooden basin filled with warm water, as he was patiently washing his sheets; you were laying on your side, casually glancing at him – wondering why he wasn’t using magic in the first place, while fighting the urge to drift off to sleep.
As you were about to fall into the temptation of losing yourself into slumber’s embrace, you felt few droplets of water land on your nose; your eyes curiously opened, and Wonwoo sprinkled some water towards you once again, using his fingertips. Instinctively wrinkling your nose, you squeezed your eyes, placing your left paw on his thigh and pushing forward – trying to ignore how firm his thighs actually were, with the secret goal to make him fall on the ground for interrupting your nap time; Wonwoo laughed softly, adjusting his glasses while using his wrist, and you felt your heart swell. You loved being around Wonwoo, especially as a wolf; actually, you were certain that you would have loved being around him even as a human, but you still didn’t gather enough courage to tell him that you had came back.
Few hours later, the warlock was sitting next to you, leaning back so that his weight was placed on his left hand, while he was gently brushing your soft fur with his right hand; however, his fingertips dangerously lingered over the scar on your face, and you kept your eyes tightly closed.
Wonwoo used to caress it when you were kids, a tender brush of his fingertips which you probably wouldn’t have noticed if you weren’t looking at him anytime he did that; the warlock had just did the same thing, and your heart immediately picked up pace.
Wonwoo knew it was you.
«You are a wolf,» you spoke, your index finger pointed to your own reflection in the mirror in a threatening way, «you could literally eat him in one – two bites!» you steadily went on with your rambling, asking yourself why were you supposed to be scared of telling Wonwoo that you were mates, and not finding an answer to your own cowardice.
Since the afternoon the warlock had caressed your scar, you had carefully avoided to go in the places he usually roamed in, and therefore, you haven’t seen Wonwoo for more than a week; you wondered if the longing feeling which almost completely filled your soul was completely due to the soulmate bond, and moreover, you wondered if he missed you as well.
«Maybe he has someone?» you questioned yourself, before immediately shaking your head with a frown; you’ve spent enough time at Wonwoo’s house to knew that he didn’t have a partner, «and moreover, he’s meant with me.» Basically, you spent the morning acting like a flustered teenager, despite the fact that you were a full grown adult.
Hesitantly, you knocked on Wonwoo’s front door, still pondering to just turn around and leave; it was late afternoon, and you had finally made up your mind, walking all the way to the warlock’s house. However, the more you waited, the more you realized that he wasn’t going to open the door anytime soon – he probably wasn’t home, fortuity which gave you the opportunity to flee; as you were stepping down the last step of Wonwoo’s porch, you heard the familiar creak of the wooden front door being open.
«You sure had some nerve making me wait for this long.» Wonwoo’s voice was groggy, and you figured out he was probably just taking a nap; you immediately spun on your heels, your gown obediently twirling around your legs as you stood facing him, your fingers nervously picking at each other in short and nervous movements.
«Well, I – »you started, now knowing what you wanted to say; although you wanted to apologize, every word you knew seemed to have vanished for your brain.
«Come here, you idiot.» Wonwoo smiled at you, and in the same moment you saw his arms widening into an obvious offer of a hug, you skipped back on the steps of his porch, almost throwing yourself in his arms.
«You can’t walk around with a scar on your cheek and not expect me to connect the dots,» he mumbled, resting his chin on the top of your head, as your face was basically buried in the crook of his neck, «I missed you.» he finally admitted the words you’ve desperately wanted to hear, and you instinctively hugged him a little tighter.
Wonwoo ended up convincing you to stay for dinner, and of course, you couldn’t exactly bring yourself to say no; even if you still had to confess him about the soulmate bond connecting the two of you, you were happy to spend some time with him by simply staying in your human form.
The moon was shining in the sky as the two of you were sitting on the steps of his porch, enjoying the quiet night summer breeze.
«Were you actually certain that I was the wolf?» you questioned; Wonwoo adjusted his glasses, and simply shrugged.
«It was just a bold guess in the beginning, but Seungcheol kinda confirmed it,» the warlock took your bewildered expression to explain himself further, «I randomly walked into him the day after we met, and he seemed to be all excited about you having returned into town, as a wolf. He also said we had the same scent, so we were probably mates.»
«Wait,» few seconds of silence had passed, and you silently connected the dots, «Seungcheol is a wolf?» you questioned, dumbfounded, and Wonwoo simply nodded, quietly chuckling at your surprise, already knowing what you would have said next, «Seungcheol, “let me chase you real quick while holding this bee hive” Seungcheol?»
«In his defence, he grew into a reliable leader.» Wonwoo admitted, and a comfortable silence fell once again around the two of you. Of course, the fact that Seungcheol was the alpha of the territory was the main reason you didn’t feel threatened with the sudden instinct and need to leave; he might have accepted you as one of his pack before you even thought about asking him to become one.
«He also told you we’re soulmates,» you sighed, «I feel like I’ve been beating around the bushes for nothing.» you felt Wonwoo’s arm around your shoulder, before being gently pulled into his side; you immediately shifted closer, so that you could comfortably lean against him without the two of you being uncomfortable.
«You did, but it was cute,» Wonwoo admitted, and your shoulders lowered in defeat, making him chuckle at your behaviour, «I was honestly curious about how long it would have took you.»
«Can you blame me? I literally disappeared in the middle of the night, and showed up years later.» you immediately retorted, explaining that your mother didn’t exactly gave you time to warn him about the fact you were about to leave, and as soon as you reached your new house, your main thoughts were immediately focused on trying to tame yourself in order not to hurt other people by mistake.
«I was really angry back then,» Wonwoo confessed, «but eventually, other friends went through the shifting process, and when he came back, Seungcheol helped me actually understand that you would have come back, sooner or later. I just had to wait.»
«So… Does it mean you’re accepting the bond?» you timidly questioned, and you felt Wonwoo wordlessly nod against your forehead, «and does it mean you’re going to kiss your soulmate?» as you felt the warlock detaching himself from you with an overdramatic sigh you felt like you had screwed up but luckily, as you met his gaze, you could only find affection.
«If I hadn’t had a crush on you since day one I would have said no, because your pickup lines are really awful.» hearing Wonwoo’s words was as if your neurons simultaneously caught fire; before you could actually question him about “what the hell do you mean you have a crush on me”, his lips captured yours in a soft, tentative first kiss.
Wonwoo’s lips were gentle – just like his whole being, but the kiss feels like the rush of a high tide at noon; his right thumb and index finger were under your chin, while his left hand was lazily gripping your nape, as if to prevent you from run away when all you wanted was to taste more, to feel more, until the point where you can’t even quantify what could that “more” even stand for.
«Don’t leave.» Wonwoo spoke, a faint murmur against your lips, and you instinctively smiled in return, wrapping your arms around his neck and kissing him again, again and again.

Red Crackle Week Day 1: Fantasy AU (One Shot)
It's a tale as old as time.
Vampires and werewolves hate each other. At least that's how It's supposed to be.
There was a very old, almost forgotten prophecy that stated that one day, a vampire and a werewolf would fall in love and have a hybrid child, uniting both worlds.
Neither people believed the prophecy. Although they were in a truce, the war had never ended for the dominance of a strategic part of the forest. So, how could such a couple rise with the animosity between two people who were at war for millennia?
It not only did, but it did with two people in positions of power in their respective groups.
Carmin Sangriall, most known as her modern day name Carmen Sandiego, is the only child of Carlotta and Dexter Sangriall, heir of the Sangriall House, the most ancient house of vampires and the actual leaders of the vampire people today, active since the 17th century.
Graham Clawsharpe, also known as Graham Calloway, his disguise name, is the next alpha of his wolf pack. He was found as a baby, abandoned in the forest, hurt by vampires. The Clawsharpe Clan, one of the most respected and influential group of werewolves, saved him and raised him like one of their own. He rose through the ranks, and when the time came, he accepted his fate as the future alpha, proving himself worthy and suitable for the job. He is set to assume the day the current alpha dies.
And that day is today.
Graham was in his room, getting ready for his destiny.
He looked at his reflection on the mirror. The most important day of his life had come...And the love of his life couldn't be there to watch him.
He sighed. It was time.
He was about to leave, when a bat flew in through the window. But not just any bat.
Her.
Carmen changes into her human form and smirks.
-Wow Gray, aren't you a handsome little wolfie?-Carmen teases him.
-Carm, you know you shouldn't be here.-Graham says, with a serious tone.
-Aren't you happy for seeing me?
-Of course I am. But if someone notices you here...
-I know, I know...I'm sorry. But can you blame for wanting to see my boyfriend become the leader of his pack? That's a big deal for you! I couldn't miss it!
-Thanks. That means a lot to me. Just be careful, okay? Security was doubled tonight.
-So? I know the risks, but if that's what I have to do to be with you, then I'm game. Let it be. I'm down for everything as long as you're by my side.
Gray smiles. Looking into Carmen's eyes, he remembered everything they went through.
They met in a emergency meeting with the two people on Carmen's family castle. Since then, they became friends. They started to spend a lot of time together on the most isolated and unknown places of the vast forest, sometimes even going to parts of the forest that belonged to other magical creatures like fairies, witches and wizards, etc.
With time, their feelings for each other changed. They still cared about each other but there was something else there.
Love.
A burning attraction and romantic connection that neither of them could ignore.
One night, after a picnic date, Carmen took Gray to the clouds. He had never been so close to the moon before. They shared their first kiss in the sky and decided to start dating.
Ever since, Carmen and Gray were living in a secret relationship, hiding in the shadows. What they were doing was not just against the rules. It was forbidden by law and had unthinkable consequences.
Gray should hate all the vampires. He almost died as a baby because of them. But there was just something so magnetic about Carmen that kept pulling him back for more. He wasn't able to stay far away from her for long. Carmen knew that feeling because she felt the exact same way about Gray. She was still looking for the group of vampires who had hunted Gray that night because the thought of losing him, of having to live a life without him on it, it was unbearable to her.
They were both tired. Tired of the act. Tired of pretending they didn't want to hug every time they had to be together! They were tired of having to fight the urge to be close to one another!! They were tired of living on different sides that just couldn't seem to understand each other!!!
They were tired of the war...
Gray's thoughts were interrupted by a kiss. Carmen's kisses had that power of making Gray forget everything around him. All of his problems vanished. It was just him and Carmen.
His Carmen.
She made him the happiest person in the whole entire world. They were meant to be together. All the sacrifices were worth it.
-Are you nervous?-Carmen asks.
-Not anymore.-Gray tells her with a wide grin.
-Good. You're gonna be the best alpha your pack has ever seen.
-God, you don't know how much I hope you're right.
-I usually am.
They both laugh.
-And looking on the bright side, we'll see each other more since you'll be in all the meetings, Mr. Alpha.
-And what's going to be your excuse to appear in all the meetings?
-I'll think of something.
-You always do.
With both of their senses heightened, they hear footsteps coming towards the door. Said and done. Someone knocks at the door.
-The ceremony starts in 20 minutes.-A voice warns him on the other side of the door.
-Thanks.-Gray answers.
When they don't hear footsteps anymore, Carmen whispers.
-20 minutes, huh? I wonder what we can do with such little time.
Carmen shows her fangs and gets her mouth on Gray's neck.
-You know that is a bad idea, right?
-It's what makes it exciting. It'll bring you good luck.-Carmen says, slowly.
And of course, Gray couldn't resist it.
Undoubtedly, that was going to be an unforgettable night.

Sakuracon 2023: Studio Orange Interview
(I just learned that Japan-A-Radio has ceased operations so the interview with the director and producers of Trigun Stampede is no longer in their website. It has a lot of interesting information about Trigun Stampede so I'm reposting it here.)

Sakuracon 2023 – Studio Orange Interview
By Jun Hong Pua, Sean Cruz, Matthew Fu & Lisa Su Transcribed by Jun Hong Pua Edited by Sean Cruz
Japan-A-Radio was part of a round table interview with Director Kenji Muto, and Producers Waki Kiyotaka & Yoshihiro Watanabe, members of Studio Orange, the team behind Trigun Stampede, to round out Sakuracon 2023 Sunday Afternoon. Producer Yoshihiro Watanabe started off with a brief introduction.
Yoshihiro Watanabe (W): I mainly do the distribution or strategic side of Trigun. Kiyotaka and I are from Studio Orange but Muto is a freelancer so he's only tied to our studio on a project basis.
I know it's been five years in the making, but why Trigun again?
Waki Kiyotaka (K): There are two big reasons why we chose to work on Trigun Stampede this time around. The first big reason would be that we were actually contacted by the producer, Katsuhiro Takei, who is a big fan of the original Trigun anime, and he'd always wanted to work on another anime version of Trigun.
The second reason is that we had the opportunity to employ Muto as the director. He had previously worked on the Land of the Lustrous, on both the storyboards and the animation direction. For storyboards, he did episode seven. For episode direction, he did episode ten. And so, we knew from working with him that he was able to do both action scenes and really good "feeling scenes": scenes where the feelings were really communicated well to the audience. We thought that he could do something really good with this project. And so that's why we chose to make Trigun Stampede and to do it with him as the director.
Kenji Muto (M): In my case, from the creative side, it's more of an ideological thing. When I started reading the Trigun manga by Nightow-sensei, I felt that it had many themes that were very unique and universal.
For example, there are inter-species interactions, the issues of migration, and a sci-fi approach to westerns. There's many core themes that I thought were very interesting.
How much involvement did Nightow-sensei have in the production of the show? You mentioned in your panel earlier that he just gave a green light and said to just have fun. Can you elaborate further?
K: It started with Nightow-sensei, myself, the director Muto, and also producer Takei. So four people altogether, just talking to each other for quite a long time. We heard from Nightow-sensei about what kind of a person he is, what he was thinking about when he was creating Trigun, and what he wanted to cover in that story. And that's where we started. Building on that, we moved on to the concept stage. We had two main staff members working on that.
We had Kouji Tajima, who worked on the concept art, and Takehiko Oshiki, who worked on the setup, writing the text that would describe the overall concepts of the world. Oshiki-san is a huge Trigun fan, a fan of the original anime and the manga. And so, he gathered together for us a bunch of design documents, set up documents, describing the themes that were covered in the original manga, and also the themes that were hinted at, but not really ever explored. Then, bas0kind of a world text that he had pulled together and written for us, Tajima-san started creating concept art. His goal was to create concept art that would show the overall feel of this world and help us with world building, to envision what.d on to the planet is, and he took over a year working on all the concept art.
During all of these conceptual design parts, we were continually checking in with Nightow-sensei. So, even before the usual pre-production process, we're showing him the setup text and the concept art, and he gave the okay to all of that. After being deeply involved in the concept design, he told us, "Everything, from here on out, the scripts, the character designs and so forth, the regular stuff of pre-production, you can do as you wish. That's because I'm confident now that you fully understand where you're going with this, and I've signed off on all the pre-pre-production concept designs that you've done."
It's not like he gave us completely free rein to do whatever we wanted. However, because we had actually that much deep, intense collaboration at the very start, he thought that we knew where we were going with this, and he's also good with where we chose to take this.
M: Usually, when you're adapting a book, a manga, to anime, you'd just be facing the book itself. But, in my case, I really wanted to face the person who created it first.
I'm actually really glad director Muto can be here, because he wasn't at Anime Expo, right? There was a video shown of him drinking alone on the roof.
W: (Laughs) We were still in production, so…
M: Ah, thank you so much.
So my question is actually about voice direction for Millions Knives. There's the scene where he is rejected by Vash, and he sounds very pained. This is an emotional attack; the physical ones don't really hurt him. What kind of care did he take to direct Junya Ikeda during that scene?
M: One of the first things I wanted to show, as a director, was that Knives is an actual being; a person. I mean, he's not a human, but as a person, he's not just a simple villain. That's why we're all focused on it.
At first, when we started the project in recording, on Ikeda-san’s side, he still didn't have the amount of information that we have on our side. He couldn't fully grasp his character, so there are times that he acted as a villain. At those times, I talk with him and say, "That's not the type of direction that I want for portraying Knives." As we worked together longer and longer, he was able to grasp more of the Knives that we wanted to depict. So yeah, Knives is not a bit; he is one of the main characters.
My relationship with Ikeda-san started out from episode three, where he first appeared, and kept on track ever since then. And, I think it's because of all the resolve and communication, that we were able to achieve what we were able to achieve in episode nine.
I noticed some similarities of the designs of plants with the designs of Avatar's Na'vi. And, a desert planet and worms, of course, brings to mind Dune. How much of these and other western influences got into the production?
M: I actually grew up in Chicago, when I was really young. That was the only time I spent in Chicago though. Having grown up there, I was influenced by a lot of shows, such as Ninja Turtles, Knight Rider, and White Wolf. I have a lot of respect for western culture. I tell myself, these two cultures don't really have a barrier. I treat them equally.
As a filmmaker, I have respect for Quentin Tarantino. So, it's probably not intentional, but I think his influence is very strong.
That's quite interesting, because Quentin Tarantino is about ultra-violence, while Vash is about anti-violence.
M: (Laughs)
When we are introduced to Millions Knives, we literally see a million knives, in comparison to the original series, which didn't do that. How did you come to decide on that being Knives' introduction? Just to say the animation for that sequence is, it has a feeling of being overwhelmed and a little grotesque, because of how many knives you see. So why did you decide to go in that direction?
M: Thinking of how to answer that question is a little difficult, because at the time when we were figuring out how that scene would end up, we didn't really think of that as grotesque. I've never actually thought of it that way before. At the time, we were thinking about how we wanted to portray Knives as a character? What is Knives thinking? What is he trying to do?
And really, what is inside of his head if he's only thinking about Vash and the plants. He's not thinking about humans at all, or if he is, they're on the same scale as bugs to him. So, if they're in his way, he's just going to exterminate them. He's not really thinking any more deeply about any humans than that. So yeah, that's the first time that it has actually occurred to us that it might come across that way.
Sorry, just to make a correction in terms of the grotesqueness, it's just that there's so many knives. And now that he said, it's like him squashing bugs, it makes sense. And it looks more like a cyclone or a hurricane. It was in a very circular motion, and you see all of the knives.
M: When I really think about the characters, I always think about contrast, and in this case, the contrast between Vash and Knives. I think it was out of necessity to create that contrast that Knives came out like that. Also, with the name Millions Knives, millions of knives is the reason why Knives named himself that in the manga. I was thinking about how to visualize that, and that's the answer we have.
In the case of designing him, Knives had an incident with a girl named Tesla. You can see fragments of that in episode ten. So, when you see Tesla, you see her as an eyeball, which formed a very important, strong impression. If you look at his knife at the time, there's actually an eyeball on his knife as well. That image is very strong within him. So one thing about the inspiration is that, instead of a typhoon, it's actually more eye-shaped. That's not a clear image, but more of a subconscious image from within him.
And so, for the entire layout of that entire scene, there's the city of humans called Jeneora Rock, and the eye of Tesla is looking down the Rock.
You mentioned about designing Knives, that one of the design criteria is the contrast. The original design of Knives wasn't as contrasting to Vash. And, the new Knives design feels more organic, compared to the mechanical, man-made feel of Vash's design. Can you elaborate more on how you redesigned Knives?
M: One of the things about the costume that I wanted to do, was that I did not want Knives to wear anything made by humans as much as possible. So actually, his robe is made out of knives, and his inner body suit is from the space era. In contrast, Vash, everything he wears was made by humans.
Also, for the technological contrast in the world, there's lost technology, and there's scrap parts. So things that are made out of scrap parts have certain colors used to it, and things made out of lost technology have a different tone and color to it. The tone and color adds to the contrast as well.
I think the original Vash had scrap parts rather than lost technology.
M: The reason that Vash's arm is lost technology is that Vash's entire fashion is actually designed based on one concept: That of his relationship with humans. And, his relationship with humans is very strong with people originally from Seeds. People like Rem. There are two groups of people. One group is those that are closely related to Seeds. His fashion is basically based on that. And that's what led to the change. All the designs of the fashion that they wore, it's not just a stylistic choice. It's a visualization of their identity.
So is it a contrast between not just two, but three factions, like the Seeds humans, the scrap humans and the plants?
M: Yes, those are the three elements. I think Vash has strong ties with all of them, but the strongest is with Rem, and whatever Rem is a part of, which was Seeds.
I have a question for Watanabe-san. You're very active on Twitter. You're engaging with fans and sharing the story of Trigun. How careful do you have to be to not accidentally spoil anything and especially with the final phase coming up?
W: For Trigun, we did work closely and carefully with how the information is revealed. We can't control everything because we're just the production studio (Anime is a global distribution involving many languages). And there's distribution, and different partners. And this means that we couldn't talk with everyone at the same time. We talk domestically, with domestic partners, and through them, to the international distributors.
We try to make sure that we use specific languages. So for example, July/JuLai, how July/JuLai was revealed in Japanese was that it's always phonetically described in Katakana as well. We'd never really revealed the kanji, the Chinese letters, of July/JuLai until later, but we knew that subtitles do not work like that. So that's why for subtitles, promotional written material, and the written letters shown in the series, we designed it so that people will see different types of July/JuLai at first, and they might not associate it as other people with keener senses might, but in the end, everything comes to people who notice that.
The reason that I actually do a lot of Twitter is that it's more appealing to communicate. I think it's a communication to the fans. And anime is definitely a global market. And as an anime studio in Japan, we have a heavy focus on the Japanese market. However, I myself am originally from California, that's where I grew up actually, and my career began from being a staff at an Anime Expo as a volunteer.
I feel that community is a very important part of the anime market. It's not just about the money, it is really about the passion. And it takes the passion of the fans and passion of the creators. They're different, but the energy is something that's really important to be reassuring.
About making mistakes, I actually make a lot of mistakes. (Laughs) Not the information I tweet about, but I actually do typos and actually tweet wrongfully-written tweets a lot. I delete them immediately. (Laughs)
I do want to ask about representing Studio Orange. I want to say, compared to some of the other production studios, it's more transparent. The panels you had in Anime Expo, here at Sakura-con, and I think at other American conventions. Why is it so important for Studio Orange to be so transparent to fans?
W: So this is something that happened when I joined Orange five years ago. Something I talked to Waki-san about was that I have a lot of inspirations on how anime can be enjoyed or how anime communities can be built be extended, but I couldn't act on them at the previous studios I'd been at. I was actually looking for somewhere I could be comfortable doing so. And Orange was that somewhere. He gave me the liberty to do these kinds of things.
And as we discuss daily about how we should spread Orange, how not just as a company, a brand, or even choosing projects, we really think it's important to communicate. I mean, for communication, in the company, I am the only English public speaker. There's a few other English speakers, but they're not public speakers. So, I can't really respond to everything, but I try to communicate at least. I look at a lot of people's responses and I can't reply to each of them, but as a sum, I try to respond to the people's reactions.
One of the things that is not really highlighted on your Orange Presents panels, but that I really enjoy, is the music direction of your TV shows. From the Land of the Lustrous, Beastars, and Trigun Stampede, the soundtrack and the use of the soundtrack at the correct point of the show is brilliant. Can you provide some insight into how the music direction is done?
K: When we are creating an animation at Studio Orange, we use a technique called film scoring. Although we don't use it completely, we use what we call half film scoring. That's where we have the music first, and then we adjust the imagery to match the music and the scene. Because we're doing it in that order, we find that we're actually able to produce better results. We found that more emotion is communicated by both the music and the imagery matching each other. And because we do it in that order, we really allow the people who are composing the music to have a lot of control over the emotions in the scene, so they're really motivated to produce amazing music for us. I think that's probably why we get complimented on the music in the works that we've done.
M: As Waki-san said, I feel that it's really important about establishing relationships with composers. I can only speak for the case of Trigun, of course, but for not just the composer, but for the audio team, the mixer, the sound effects team, I was actually responsible as a sound director to direct all those people as well. Basically the relationship and passion that everyone feels is very much reflected onto the quality. And I've spent time making sure that the groove is there.
In the manga, Knives actually plays the piano, just for a few frames, but that left a strong impression on me. So, I put a lot of thought on how that can be put into this anime. That became one of the things that I focused on.
I really care for the beats per minute, the rhythm, the tempo. Those are the things where we put a lot of thought into, and I got a lot of references for the music team. I've said it in a couple other interviews as well, but when I am writing the storyboard, there's already music playing in the background, and it's my job to figure out how to convey that music to the team.
I want to ask about the character concept art by Kouji Tajima. So director Muto was responsible for adapting that concept art into what we see in the anime. Going from the concept art, which is 2D, and then taking it into 3D, there's a little bit of stylistic changes with that. With Vash, he's a little bit bigger than what you see in Tajima's concept art. Much more muscular. And, as you said before, organically built out. Can you talk a little bit about the adaptation of concept art?
K: We think of the concept art as more of just the capturing of an idea as an image, as opposed to setting the actual imagery and laying out the official visuals for the show. Once that idea has been put into concept art and shared with the staff and the director, the director can decide how to interpret that idea and how to carry it forward into the rest of the production. Things that we are looking for in the character concept art would be things such as distinctive silhouettes. We want the silhouettes of each character to actually be distinct from each other so they're more recognizable. Making some characters more muscly and other people less muscly would affect how distinctive their silhouettes are. Also, we think about what extent do we want the expressions of the characters to be actually deforming the CG models that are used. That's something that we would discuss when we move on to the adaptation of concept art?
For concept art, the main purpose is to portray the attractiveness of an idea. And when you develop a design, that design has a different purpose. The purpose could be the storyline, where they come from, where they are going, what they represent. Even though it's within the same drawing, the purpose of each design and concept art is completely different. So that's why there will definitely be a difference.
M: The concept art, it's basically this ball of ideas. From there, we look at what ideas we can distill into, shaping the ideas into a more concrete form.
One of the goals for Trigun, I think you'd mentioned, was to expand the storytelling, the universe, and I think you have effectively succeeded for the first season. However, a lot of the story plotlines were just to the point, where you just briefly touch upon and then move on. I think that there's more than enough material to have a two-cour, or 24-episodes, instead of 12 episodes. Is there a reason why you chose this length?
W: For the first season.
Yeah. And for the second season, is it going to be the same length, or can we expect it to be longer?
W: So just to be clear, we've never used the term second season at this point. This doesn't mean anything. Just to get on record, we've only specifically used the term "Final Phase".
M: The amount of information that's contained in the original manga is massive. And, when you're creating a TV series, the format is first of all different so you can't take that same amount of information and drop it into the animation format. We'd love to, but as the format is completely different, it's not possible. One thing that, as a director, I was aiming for, is that I want people to enjoy this show, in as many ways as possible. So, first of all, as a simple action entertainment people can enjoy, but people also can have the joy of figuring out the world. By having things in there that people can connect the dots to, they will discover an entirely new view in the show, and also people discovering the theme of the show. So, those are different layers I tried to create so that as many people can enjoy. That's the goal that I set and tried to accomplish.
I have a question about visual storytelling. For example, when you see Knives, he's shrouded, and kind of like a hidden figure, more, you know, in terms of the visual storytelling, versus Vash, who is very open, very bright. The humans as well, they're all very brightly colored compared to the plants that are more muted. Can you talk to us a little bit about your metaphoric or visual storytelling style?
M: There's the starting point, the manga, which has concept colors. So, from the starting point, what I want to do is to make sure that we treat those fairly. Coloring-wise, even though we're using that base color of the manga as a foundation, I really put thought into the identity associated with the color as well. So, in this case, you could see that Vash has red and green, very vibrant colors, and those colors are tied very tightly with his identity. In the case of Knives, that is the blue-ish color, which is associated with the plants.
Those colors symbolize a lot of their identity as well. And for example, humans have actually resembled Western, or more to be specific, the space frontiers. So, they're migrants. I'm saying that, but that's the base, and in July, there are more Asian things. So based on that, from the start, the base color theme was already set.
In the case of Nicholas D. Wolfwood, his identity is actually shifting throughout the series, within Stampede. He's fluctuating between Nicholas the Punisher and Nicholas D. Wolfwood. In the manga, he is already established as Nicholas D. Wolfwood, but in Stampede, he is still seeking the answer for his own identity. That fluctuation is actually portrayed within the color of his shirt.
If we're going into specifics, there's going to be so much to talk about. So, I would like to end it there. (Laughs)
We know that there’s going to be like a final season of Beastars, that's going to be a final phase for Trigun. Are we going to see a second season for Land of the Lustrous? Or, do you have any future developments you can share with us?
K: To speak to that, we've shared that we have been developing Trigun Stampede and working on that since about five and a half years ago. We've been working on it that whole time, all five and a half years, but for many of those years we couldn't say anything about it, as it was confidential for a lot of that time that we were working on it. That carries over to the other projects that the studio is working on now.
Of course, we are working on many projects, but we can't say much about them. What we can say here is what we have already shared in the panels at this con. We learned a lot, and developed new tools, while working on Land of the Lustrous, Beastars and Trigun Stampede. As a studio, we want to continually challenge ourselves to achieve better results in certain areas that are difficult for CG to achieve great results. And so once we find a good approach for these difficult areas, we use it going forward and all the works that our studio works on later. So you can expect that we will be using everything that we have learned on those works in our next work going forward as well as looking at new aspects of CG that we want to really pin down and achieve greater results with.

ur post about jamie’s loan has me thinking soooo many thoughts but the main thing im confused about is this: how was jamie able to get on the starting line-up so quickly after returning from his loan to richmond? city obviously hadn’t originally intended to recall jamie for a while as of 106 — jamie’s loan being pulled and him actually being sent back is presented like a surprising piece of information for everyone in the team, and i just can’t interpret that as “his contract was expiring soon, he just went back a week earlier than normal”. it felt like ted (at the very least) was setting up jamie to stay for a while after that, both strategically and socially. so, if he had spent much less time in richmond than intended (and thus probably developed a lot less than intended), how did he manage to start in richmond’s relegation match? it could have been city trying to give him more minutes against a lower ranked team, but then why would they start him AND let him play the whole game even after it was tied 1-1 if he’s not a consistent part of the starting line up? im a silly little american who knows nothing about european football, but it just doesn’t make sense how jamie could go from “we’re going to give you so few minutes that we basically have to loan u out or else you’re just wasting time” to “you’re going to be on the starting line up/close to it” so quickly once returning to city? was it just him learning to be a team player or is the show just getting fuzzy w the details? (also that was so long im sorry this is just a Very Specific Question and im trying to get it across properly)
This is referring to things from my earlier loan ask, so linking that here.
First of all, I am sure that Jamie's loan was meant to go until the end of the season. However, a loan can be terminated at any point during the season if both parties agree to it. So in this case, City saw he wasn't playing every possible minute with Richmond and they said to Richmond, "if you aren't going to play him, we want him back. We'd rather be the ones training and not using him if YOU'RE not going to use him." They were the ones that instigated the recall of Jamie, Rebecca just simply had to agree to it on behalf of Richmond and Jamie goes home. (Let's not worry about the fact that his agent would have been involved in this process because 2 seconds of digging in that direction makes the plot fall apart.)
But Jamie had been playing for Richmond for almost a full season at this point, from the summer of 2019 to what has to be around the February of 2020. He was there for over nine months of the season, and he went back to City when they only had a couple of months left.
In 1.08, when he visits Keeley, it's late March and he tells her that City were in town playing West Ham. He says "I had ten touches, I had two completed dribbles, and in the 89th minute they let me take a free kick." This implies to me that he was being brought on as a substitute at that point. Because ten touches, for a forward, is not very many during a full 90 minutes. And then the "They let me" in terms of taking a free kick sounds to me like he's still very much not a major power player, more like he's been given a chance, like "give the kid a turn, see how he handles it."
But it still feels to me like City valued Jamie as a player, and when they got him back after around nine months of a loan, they decided to give him a few more chances and see what he could do. And if he's succeeding for them in games as a sub, it's more likely that he will start the next match.
And the thing about the Richmond relegation match is that it's implied City had already secured the Premier League title, weeks before. They are not awarded the trophy at the end of the match. They're not celebrating having won the League. There's no commentary from Arlo and Chris about how City need this to secure the title, unlike they way they explain it in 3.11 and 3.12. So Ted's dressing room speech about giving the champs 90 minutes of hell implies to me that City were ALREADY the league champions, that they'd won it a little earlier in the season. Hopefully it's clear to everyone by now that with a league table, this is pretty common, if someone gets enough points that it is mathematically impossible for other teams to catch up.
In real life, this year City won the league with three matches left to play. And in this circumstance, once the thing is already won, Pep will shake up the starting line ups quite dramatically and give different players the chance to play. For example, Cole Palmer, who I mentioned in the other post? He started for City in their matches against Chelsea and Brentford at the end of the season, AFTER City had already secured the title, when there were no consequences to City winning or losing. They won against Chelsea and Palmer got an assist on the winning goal, and they actually lost to Brentford in the final match of the season but it didn't matter. Pep uses a high rotation anyway - City does not have a fixed starting eleven, it changes all the time, Palmer has started a handful of other matches in various competitions - but this is very likely what happened to Jamie in terms of the Richmond match. It's the only match we know for an absolute fact that he started in for City, and it's probably because it was a game where the line-up could be changed around and experimented with to give different players opportunities, because they weren't "playing for anything."
Basically, in summary - Jamie played for Richmond for 9-10 months (depending on how early he came in preseason.) By the end of that stay he had played a lot more minutes by then than he ever had before even if he didn't get to stay the whole length of the season. City knew he'd improved and recalled him, deciding that if Richmond weren't going to utilise him, they'd prefer he be with them in Manchester to use when they want. They start using him as a sub in the last couple of months of the season, and he proves himself to be a valuable player for them. So he gets to play more minutes, maybe gets subbed on earlier each game, and eventually he gets to start a few matches, especially ones after City has already won the title and Jamie gets to play the match just for the experience.
In terms of being a team player, I fairly strongly believe that at City, this would have been a given for Jamie no matter what. Jamie got full of himself playing as a 1-up-front striker at Richmond, maybe in a 4-2-3-1 formation, but that's not how he would have ever played at City. Pep's favourite formation during that era of City is 4-3-3 and that's what Jamie was playing in for the Richmond match, he was part of a line of three (the formations are on the Arlo White cheat sheet) against Richmond's 4-4-2. City in this shape favours high possession and passing, so Jamie would have to have been succeeding within the style Pep wanted, i.e., being a team player and passing a lot and not acting as an individual star taking control of the match.
Jamie at Richmond was a selfish player largely because he didn't see the other players as good enough. He saw himself as a cut above them and their only value was to facilitate him in taking control of the match. He's not actually wrong about the skill level objectively, and even Roy admits it in 1.04 - that he knows he should be passing to Jamie but he can't stand Jamie's attitude about it. Because shaping the team to facilitate a star striker like that is not inherently bad football, not if the player isn't a cunt about it - it's a bit like what we saw with Zava, which looked ridiculous to us as viewers but was not actually a situation that anyone other than Jamie resented because Zava made the others feel valued, even if it felt fake to us. But look. Footballers do understand that some players are just better than others, and if your star striker is a nice person who makes everyone feel valued and treats people as proper teammates, there's nothing wrong with the tactic being "get the ball to that person and let them take charge."
Richmond was Jamie's first taste of being that heroic superstar, where he was the one with all the glory, and because he didn't see the rest of them as on his level, he became a bad "team player" due to not recognising the part the rest of the team played in his success, or helping them improve (playing with people better than you should make you better, generally!) or believing that any of the others could achieve anything. He felt he was doing it all by himself. And George Cartrick clearly also had no interest in training the team in any other way. Very much "just get the ball to Tartt, he's the only one who's any good, and try not to fuck up in the process" as opposed to using Jamie's prowess to elevate EVERYONE.
At City, where Jamie probably wasn't the best player on the team, where the standards were more equally at his level or better, this factor is not an issue. That's not how Pep trains them, it's not how Pep thinks. Jamie knows that he's not the solo star there. He knows that all the other great players will be contributing to making things happen, that everyone is smart and talented and aren't going to fuck up. Whether he liked it or not, he would have had trust in the way that playing style works, knowing that it's what's being asked of him from Pep and what the situation calls for. But Jamie didn't trust the Richmond players to be good enough to contribute. We see this Sam a lot - his attacks on Sam are often because Sam has failed to put a pass where Jamie wanted it, or missed a shot in training, or whatever. This is not an excuse for his behaviour but it is clear evidence that Jamie is frustrated because the rest of the team isn't at his level. And unlike season 3, he has no interest in working with them on improving, or showing them how best to play with him. Being a good team player isn't always about sharing the ball equally or whatever, it's about working as a team to feed each other's strengths - that's how season 3 Jamie can be both a team player and a total star player at the same time.
Honestly, to me, Jamie making that extra pass in 1.10 wasn't anything to do with Ted, aside from narratively for us as viewers. That's just how City plays football. That's Pep's influence, not Ted's. Ted sees it happen and thinks he's done something to change Jamie's attitude but in my opinion, Jamie is just playing the way Pep wants him to, because he actually values Pep's opinion about tactics in a way he didn't value Ted's.
There is no way in hell Jamie went from age 13, or whenever he was scouted, to age 23, being a consistently selfish ball hog style player at Man City. Lots of players want to be stars, but I believe that the level we see in season 1 is just how he thought he needed to play at Richmond, because he felt like he was the only one who knew what he was doing and making anything happen on the pitch, and then of course he liked how it felt to have all that attention on him. But the way Jamie was playing at Richmond is simply not how City play football, and season 3 makes that canon to the Ted version of City too, not just an unfounded real life football comparison. City in the show are coached by Real Pep and play Pep's version of total football. That's what Jamie was doing when he made the extra pass, and it's his experience with Pep's total football that allows Jamie to help Richmond so much in season 3.

sometimes when you're brainrotting two things, the only way to cope is to smush those things together. therefore: how i think bells hells would do at Blood On The Clocktower! (or social deduction games in general.) some of this is mechanical some of it is textual some of it is Just Vibes
Orym: Not the best at lying, but very good at figuring out when someone else is. Tends to hold of on claiming for a while unless he's like a top 4. Probably follows Fearne and/or Ashton around too much, regardless of their characters/alignments. If he's ever evil with one of them he gets very excited to the point that it's almost a tell. Orym is the guy who knows exactly who everyone has been talking to, he is watching EVERYONE in his peripheral vision.
Imogen: Deception queen, nobody clocks when she's lying, but she's not the best at coming up with strategic bluffs. Initially found playing evil Very Stressful, but i think she'd come around to it. DEFINITELY talks with Laudna first every single game.
Chetney: on the fucking case. this man is a genius at this game; if he's evil, nobody can tell bc he always acts this weird, it's no different, and if he's good, he solves the game when evil least expects it. not good at lying but gets by via the power of Lying Always For Shits And Giggles (And Also Tactics)
Ashton: mister -2 to charisma cannot lie for shit. they love the game anyways, but if he's the imp he's star passing pretty much immediately (orym is going to catch him if he doesn't lmao). enjoys interrogating ppl and trying to figure out their characters. probably downplays their own usefulness to the good team but often provides big pieces of the puzzle.
Laudna: absolutely loving it. the storyteller perchance? (altho i could see orym or ash getting in on it too? I May Be Projecting.) i think laudna gets very excited to be on the evil team (maybe too obviously excited), but overall is just having a good time, solving the mystery or being the demon. yeah the more i think about it the more i think she'd really like storytelling. i mean i wore my laudna dress the first time i hosted a clocktower party the vibes are right
FCG: probably one of those people who feels bad about lying in lying games lmao. i think they'd get really into it eventually though. i don't think he'd be good at bluffing while evil, but i think he'd have a really fun time as good and get really into solving it and figuring out wtf is going on.
Fearne: Pure Chaos. you can never tell if she's evil because she is always unpredictable. will commit to the bit always. will offer you the mez word as a good player. has turned several people evil bc they thought she was joking about the mez word and she was Not. she's def not BAD at the game, she's observant and she's good at bluffing, but she is An Experience, and i say that with the most love. very fun to play with i think.
Dorian: probably a little overwhelmed by the complexity (of clocktower specifically). he is, in the words of fearne, "a very bad liar". enjoys it nonetheless, but he is not the clocktower champ by any means (again, said with so much love). still, he's a good sport about it and he's having a good time, and that's what matters! i could def see him storytelling as well. (BONUS, if he brings dariax: he follows dorian around and asks him questions about how the game works constantly. catches ppl off guard w good bluffs sometimes but only when he lucks into good strats or a teammate tells him what to bluff as.)

Okay. Let me just dump this out of my head with love ♥ I'm sure there'd be a lot of spicy entries, so I hope some fluffy ones are welcomed too. I'm in a post care mood lol. - ♝
Concept:
Post being absolutely wrecked by Boba because he loves you so damn much and you feel absolutely heavenly, you're sore and sensitive with so much praise and pleasure. That you've been such a good impact on his life, he can't keep his hands off you even after feeling that post-destroymepls session sensitivity.
He also thinks the pp is cute and proceeds to kiss it and find it adorable how you writhe even at slightest of touch. You also wake up from naps with scribbles on certain parts of your body. Either his name "Boba's", "Boba was here", "mine", "bite at -inserttimehere-', among other things.
Casually makes suggestion of getting your hair cut or set in a way that would best look on how he'll take you out loud and in public. Absolutely no shame in telling you "how a bun suits you when you're sucking him dry" or how "braids make me want to -insertmoredirtytalkinghere-".
Itty bit of somna because hey, waking up only to be dicked own with love is the definition of "good morning". - ♝
LET’S GET NASTY.

PARTY UNDER THE CUT
There is very little left in the galaxy with the power to fascinate Boba Fett, but finding you nearly naked and fast asleep in his bed is certainly an enticing little late night surprise.
The two of you are still getting to know each other - intimately and emotionally. Both of you have developed different mechanisms for keeping others at arm’s length. Boba is dangerous and restrained, you’re prickly and cool.
A graphic, frightening nightmare sent you to his bed one moonless night. Strategizing with Fennec kept him up late and by the time he made it up the stairs to the tower, it was past midnight and you were deeply asleep.
Boba cannot resist running the tips of his fingers up your calf and the back of your thigh. When he reaches the hem of your sleep shift, he feels the soft fabric between his thumb and forefinger before lifting it to expose your soft, round ass.
You stir and he rubs comforting circles in the small of your back. Boba Fett loves a round, dimpled ass and thick thighs. He loves a girl who looks like she could sit comfortably on a Bantha from sunrise to sunset.
He straddles your thighs so he can bend over and knead the flesh of your buttcheeks with both hands. He bites down hard and sucks on each of your meaty cheeks.
You moan softly. Boba loves how pliable you are like this, barely awake and vulnerable. Your sharp wit dulled by exhaustion, your smart mouth bridled by need.
Something must have upset you for you to have invited yourself into his bed. You’re so fierce and intractable, Boba knows that any biddability you’re willing to offer should be generously rewarded. Taming brats, he knows, is just as much about providing a soft place to land as it is a strong disciplinary hand.
You blink and begin to wake. Boba Fett allows you to turn over onto your back and then leans down to suck on one of your nipples through your sleep shift.
He moves to spread your legs with his knees and pushes the shift up over your breasts so that he can more thoroughly enjoy them with his mouth and hands.
You’re still hazy with sleep and settle into the pillow. Boba continues gently playing with your nipples until you reach out to take one of his hands in yours. He rubs your palm with his thumb and kisses the inside of your wrist.
You’re so drowsy and he doesn’t want to do too much to disturb you, but the feel of your warm skin, your soft breasts, your thighs - he’s not inclined to deny himself an opportunity to enjoy you.
You come to when you feel him sitting up between your legs and rubbing his hands up and down the tops of your thighs. You reach out for him and he guides your arms around his neck. His lips find your and he squeezes your thighs as he kisses you.
When Boba Fett enters you, it stings as he fills you up and you suck in air between your teeth. The two of you don’t yet know each other’s bodies, and he stills inside you. He knows how thick he is and cradles your face in his hand while he pets your hair. He speaks softly to you in Mando’a.
The two of you have softened to each other since first meeting, but intimate experiences together are still novel and Boba knows that you need him to be kind and reassuring. You’ve allowed yourself to be vulnerable and he knows what that means, given your thorny nature.
He moves slowly inside of you, still whispering encouragement in Mando’a between kisses. You thread your fingers in his and he braces your hands above your head.
Your encourage him with gasps and moans and he finds himself thrusting into you in time with your breathing. You wrap your legs around him so that his hard cock can push deeper into you.
He nips gently at your neck and then bites down hard on your shoulder when he feels you spams around him. You’ll have bruises in the morning to show for all of this - he’ll make sure of it.
Boba pulls out of you and you whine at the sudden loss of the feeling of him so close to you. He shushes you reassuringly and guides you onto your belly. He pulls your hips upward and you feel the head of his cock pushing into you from behind.
You arch your back, giving him full access to you and he takes advantage gratefully. He kneads your ass as he thrusts into you. His fingers are bruising and you whimper and keen.
Boba reaches down and takes your hand, guiding it between your legs. “Touch yourself, mesh’la,” he says in a voice husky with pleasure. You do as you’re told and soon you’re both moaning as he pounds into you.
You climax hard as he grinds his cock into you He swears in Mando’a as he cums inside of you. He remains inside of you afterwards, running his fingertips up and down your spine. When he finally pulls out, he lays down next to you and pulls you tightly into him, spooning you and biting down on your shoulder.
You wake up with your head on his chest and your leg thrown over his waist. Boba kisses your forehead and pulls you closer.
You slide your way down his body, intending to pay him back for waking you up to make love to you by going down on him. Your hands find his erect member and you begin stroking him.
His fingers fist your hair and the firm grip on your scalp makes you gasp. His other hand pushes your hair out do your face.
“Mesh’la, your long hair is beautiful but I want to watch you take me into you mouth.”
You reach for a ribbon on the bedside table and twirl your hair into a messy bun.
He grips the bun as he cums down your throat and then pulls you by that same bun up to his chest so he can hold you.
Okay, so there’s going to end up being a Part 2.

The Tickle Mobster Returns (Piofiore)
Heyo! Guess who's back to writing her self indulgent fics? This girl! :D
This month turned into Visual Novel month whoops, so I might as well end it with a visual novel fic hehe. This is a sequel fic to "The Tickle Mobster"; Lee!Dante is my weakness and I just needed some familial love from these two cousins. I hope you like it!
Summary: Nicola swore vengeance on Dante, leaving him on edge. Surely Nicola was just joking right?...Right?
Dante was no coward. Whenever a problem arises within or outside the familia, he handles it himself. It would be a disgrace to his honor as a man to do otherwise.
That said…
Daring a brave peek out of his office, he looked up and down the halls of the Falzone manor, his heartbeat accelerating. He usually wasn’t this antsy in his own home, but after recent events…
“His back and knees were bad when we were kids though.”
Nicola’s cries of revenge were swallowed with dolphin-like cackles as he escaped from the scene, leaving his cousin to be tickled to near tears by Liliana. At the time, he felt rather proud of himself- giving Lili a much needed advantage against her boyfriend. Not to mention the deep satisfaction of getting him back for all the chaos he caused months before.
Alas, it all faded far too quickly for the young capo’s liking, leaving him on edge for Nicola’s revenge. The brunette never went back on threats when he made them.
Straining his ears for footsteps, Dante took a brave step forward as he left the safety of his office, creeping along towards the kitchen.
~~~
“Heh…” With a warm cup of coffee in hand, he closed his office door and leaned back into it, safe once more. He didn’t see Nicola at all during his little trip, making him feel both relieved and ridiculous. “Of course he’s not around; I'm just being silly. " He should have known as adults Nicola wasn't going to do anything.
"He's likely off with Lili- I’m happy for them.” He mused out loud, bringing his cup to his lips with a content smile.
“Aww, you’re sweet.”
“PFFT-” Dante choked, sputtering out his coffee with wide eyes when said man appeared from beneath his desk. “W-When did you-?”
“While you were out. What, you miss me that much already?” Nicola grinned as he closed the distance, laughing some as Dante struggled to open the door. “If I’d known how bad you wanted me around, I would have come by sooner.”
“Nicola, don’t you dare-” Finally the damn knob turned. Dante tried to squeeze through the opening, but his cousin had him by the back of his vest in seconds. “Merde!”
“Oo, you said a bad word! I’m telling Giulia.” Nicola teased, flicking the lock on the door so no one would enter. He took Dante’s cup, placing it on the nearby bookshelf before turning to his trapped cousin. “There’s no running from me now.”
Dante looked around, weighing his options. He could put the desk between them, but there wasn’t much space back there. Books? No, his aim was good but his throwing capabilities were lacking! Not to mention he wasn’t actually trying to hurt him…
He could run again, but Nicola had strategically placed himself before the door. He was officially screwed.
“Nicola…as your Capo, I order you to let me go.” He put on a brave voice, steeling his nerves.
Nicola only smiled, raising a brow.
“....Please?” Dante offered, realizing his bluff failed tremendously.
“Sorry, but as your underboss- no, as your family, I veto your order. You know I only listen to them when they're business related, right?” Nicola winked before charging ahead. Dante took one last attempt to escape-
“Gotcha!”
Down they went- a heap of bodies against the carpeted floor with Nicola pinning him. He might have had a small advantage with height, but Nicola was far stronger than him physically. “Nicola, wait! Please- I’m sorry.”
“Sure you are now, but I don’t think you were when you told Lili that little tidbit earlier.” Nicola was all smiles, but Dante could read them like a book. This one dripped with danger. “I suppose it’s fair- I did tell her your own tickle spots recently.”
“Huh- you did what?” Dante couldn’t believe his ears! “Nicola!”
“An eye for an eye. Now- where was I? Oh right.” With that, the older of the two attacked, shooting his hands down and squeezing at the terrible spot along Dante’s lower ribs. “Take that.”
Dante tried his best to resist. He mentally prepared himself for the upcoming tickles well before Nicola touched base. Alas- nothing really could protect him from the actual feeling. “Geha! Haheahhahhahahah! N-Nihiihihicohohoohhola, pleahahhhahase!”
“Huh? Can’t hear you Dante! Whatcha say?” Nicola cooed at him, one hand remaining at that horrible spot while the other moved up to his middle set of ribs, unmoved at the hands grabbing his shoulders. “You’re gonna have to speak up, you've always been so soft spoken.”
“Yohohohou soohohn of ahah-whahahhat the hehehehell doohohoho yoohohohu eehehehven mehehhahahahan by thahahhat? Gehahahaha, gehehhet ohohohoff!” Dante yelped through his laughter, grabbing at the hands refusing to release his ribs. “Mohoohohve sohoohomewhehehere eheheelse!”
“Why?” Nicola grinned.
“Yohohohou knoohohw whihihihy!”
“I do, but I wanna hear it.” The older of the two snickered as he slowly began moving his fingers up his ribs, making his ascent. “Come on, tell me!”
“I dohohon’t nehehehed to-Geahhaah nohohoho! Nohohoohoo, dohohohon’t go uhuuhp! Nihiihicola pleahhahhahse!” Dante’s struggles renewed as he realized just where the older mafioso was going. “Dohoohhon’t yohohou dahhhahare!”
“Or what? What’cha gonna do, Dante?” He cooed at him, tapping his fingers against his upper ribs in such a way that it made him twitch. “Are you gonna stop me? I don’t think you can.” He paused for dramatic effect, watching him with playful eyes. “Ready?”
“N-Nihihicola, please waha-IHIHIHIT!” There was no saving him now. Nicola shoved his hands beneath his arms, going for Dante’s worst spot with ease. “PLEHAHAHHASE WAHAHHAIT!”
“Why? What’s wrong?” Nicola snickered through his own teases, relishing in the snorts and squeaks Dante let out. It had been such a long time- SUCH a long time since he’d got to experience this. Part of him never wanted to stop just so he could burn this memory into his core.
“FIHIHIHNE, FIHIHINE IT TIHIHIHICKLES! HAHHAHAPPY?” Dante cried out, cheeks pink and eyes squeezed shut with mirth as he tried hiding his radiant smile against his shoulder. “NOHOHOW STAHHAHAP!”
“Damn, and here I’d thought you could go longer.” Nicola mock chided as he released him, falling onto his side as he watched him curl up. “Hehe, you’re so cute. Look at you, a giggly mess.”
“Screhehew you.” Dante groaned, making Nicola laugh harder. Lying side by side in this old office, a mixture of good and bad memories loomed around them as they fell into a comfortable silence against the carpeted floor.
“You’re terrible.” Dante decided after he caught his breath, lightly elbowing Nicola’s arm. “Though I knew you were going to do that, so I suppose being angry does nothing.”
“I’m really getting unpredictable, huh? First Lili, and now you’re ready for my pranks.” Smiling, Nicola got comfortable, turning his head to find Dante looking back at him. “I’m gonna have to start changing things up.”
“Even if you did, it wouldn’t matter.” Dante shrugged some, turning back to the ceiling before he spoke. “You’re my..brother. I know you like the back of my hand. No matter what you pull, I can see right through you.”
Nicola’s breath hitched, eyes widening. Brother. Not a cousin, not his underboss. His brother. He only heard it once before but the effect remained the same. “Dante..” He tried to laugh, hoping it’d hide his sudden tears. “You’re truly a devious one, aren’t you?”
“Maybe.” Something soft entered his smile as he gave Nicola a chance to compose himself. “It can’t always be like this.”
“I know.”
“We're older now, we’re been left with the task of protecting the Familia.”
“I know.”
“But…I don’t mind this. Every once and awhile.” Dante huffed, cheeks hot as he looked away completely. “Just don’t make it a habit.” Nicola lit up at the words, his smile warm.
“I’ll try to refrain myself.” He snickered, about to reach out and squeeze his shoulder.
Just then, there was a knock on the door. “Dante? Are you in? I brought you a cafe latte.” Liliana's voice sounded muffled by the wood. Dante flailed to sit up, eyes wide and cheeks hot as he scrambled to his feet. Nicola pressed his arms into his mouth, shaking with barely restrained mirth. “Is Nicola with you? I think I just heard him.”
“He is- erm, hang on.” Dante carefully walked across a still giggly brunette as he opened the door, smiling kindly at the blonde girl before them. “Hello, Lili.”
“Hello, Dante. I brought cake too…” Her eyes widened a bit seeing Nicola on the ground. Then she looked at Dante- from his slightly flushed cheeks to shaky frame as he struggled to subtly catch his breath.
“Heh, Nicola got you too, huh?” She teased as she offered him his treats, taking the forgotten drink sitting nearby on the shelf. “Don’t worry, we’ll get him back together.” She winked before turning to go, leaving both Falzone boys wide eyed with surprise.
“N-Now hold on there! Lili!” Nicola yelped as he dashed after her, leaving Dante fighting down a laugh as he quietly shut the door. Sitting at his desk, he took a small bite of the strawberry dessert Lili brought him, melting instantly at the taste.
“Sweet. Just like her.”
He would gladly take up Lili’s offer in helping with revenge.
Thanks for reading!
Practice Makes Perfect Pt. 7
Summary: Loki and Y/N have to pretend to be newlyweds for a mission. What can go wrong?
Tonight is our last full night on this mission. Tomorrow we will blow our cover and take down the Hydra agents. I can’t wait to see the look on Valerie’s face when I kick her ass. She’s been horrible the whole time. Every night I have to listen to her tell the others how hot Loki is. And how unbelievable it is that he could be so into me.
That’s the worst. It hits the hardest because it’s true. I know the second we are back in Avengers’ Tower everything will go back to how it was. There’ll be no more cuddles, hand holding, kisses, or sex. I hate to admit it, but I will miss the intimacy. I’ll miss him. Will he miss it too? Hanging out in the kitchen while I prepare our meals, reading his favorite poetry to me.
When the night falls, Loki waits for me on the bed. “Darling this is our last night together. We should pretend one last time.” His smile reaches his eyes. “What did you have in mind?” He reaches his hands out for me. I take them, positioning them around my waist as I sit in his lap.
“Let’s pretend we are married, that you’re mine, that we love each other. One last time.” He strokes my fingers waiting for my decision. “One last time.” I agree. His soft lips melt into mine, long fingers caress my cheek. He moves me until my back hits the firm mattress. He lifts the hem of his oversized T-shirt off my body. He hums his approval, blue eyes trained on me.
He presses gentle kisses along my jaw and down my neck. This time feels different than the others. I think about how powerful he is. I’ve seen enemies crushed under his might, vanquished with the flick of his wrist. But he is treating me like I’m a delicate flower that he’s afraid to crush. Each flick of his tongue is careful. Every move strategic. He takes his time with the foreplay. Usually confident in his pillow talk, his words are more pleading, desperate.
“Tell me you’re mine.” “I love you, my beautiful girl.” “There’s no one like you.” Sweet nothings whispered in my ear. I commit each word to memory. When we finally join, it’s unlike anything I’ve ever known. Moving at a brutally slow pace, hitting angles he never had before.
His lips barely leave mine, taking my breath with each thrust. “I’m so in love, my sweet girl. Tell me you feel it too. Give me your words.” He pants against my neck, lifting his head to concentrate on my face. It’s so intimate. He reaches between us, his thumb swirling patterns on my clit. “I… ohh.. I love you too, Loki.”
My words spur him on, quickening his movements. Another confession from him tips me over the edge. He chases his release, following close behind me. He flips us so my head is on his chest. His hands rub circles on my back. We fall asleep entwined with each other.
We stand outside Craig and Valerie’s door preparing to burst inside. He nods at me encouragingly before his long leg knocks the door off its hinges. He grabs Russell slinging him backwards hitting him against the wall. Nicole charges at me. I sweep her feet from under her. She hits her head hard on the wooden floor.
We go into the kitchen where Craig and Valerie are waiting. Valerie pounces on me. She effectively wrestles me to the ground. “I knew there was something up. A guy like that would never be with someone like you.” I roll us over landing a hard punch to her nose. We wrestle for a while before I finally get the upper hand and subdue her.
When the authorities come to take them away, I feel uneasy. I don’t want to leave this little daydream Loki and I were in. On the way back home, Loki is uncharacteristically quiet. I wonder if he wishes we could’ve stayed longer too.
We have been back a week. It’s not been as awkward as I expected. We don’t spend every waking moment together like we used to. But he has been seeking me out more. We have shared a few meals, and we sat together during game night. He held my hand for a brief moment when the team was watching a movie. He realized what he was doing and quickly let go. “Apologies, love. Old habits.” a wistful smile on his lips.
I’m almost asleep when I hear the faintest knock on my door. I place my feet in my slippers, groggily walking toward the intrusion. Loki stands in the doorway. In a rare moment, he looks unsure of himself. “Sorry to wake you, darling. I’ve been having trouble sleeping since we got back. It seems I sleep better with you.” I slip my hand in his pulling him inside my room.
