If you would ask anyone on the street they‘d all agree that Kita was a devoted, patient, and sweet-mannered grandson and when he started dating you two years ago fresh out of university, everyone thought that you were a great match. Walking hand in hand around the small town was almost guaranteed to spark questions of marriage or an armful of some fresh vegetable that an overly excited grandmother wanted to share with the happy couple.

So when you moved in together this summer, there was gossip about an impending wedding, but Kita shot it down immediately. Not, because he didn‘t want to marry you - he would have done so long ago if he wasn‘t worried of rushing you. But because he thought things were too hectic currently to even think about any kind of ceremony. His grandmother had come to visit. Or better, to stay as it seemed. In a surge of energy, she asked a local carpenter to completely redo her house, and, not wanting her to be inconvenienced staying somewhere else, you and Kita were quick to invite her to your new home. The downside was, the walls were very thin and she had been there for over a month. You both already missed the intimacy and freedom you had just acquired and as much as you loved Yumi, you missed having your boyfriend to yourself.

“Are you sure it‘s no problem?“, you asked for the hundredth time as Kita carried the last piece of luggage to his truck.

You couldn’t wait to be alone with him for three whole days and you knew he felt the same way.

“Almost there, dove.“, he said as the truck, seemingly out of place between all the gleaming city cars, turned right on an intersection. As he drove, a big building with flashy castle-like turrets came into view and you were just about to point it out and make a comment about how comical it looked when Kita pulled into the parking lot.

“Very.“, he said as he opened the door for you and held out his hand to you.

You looked around, noting the many windows with the curtains drawn. It was barely dinner time, you expected there to be a lot more bustling.

The reception desk had you do a double take. Only a small opening in an otherwise milky window gave any indication that there was a person on the other side.

Kita retrieved your keys and held out his hand again.

“Ya ready, dove?“

Your eyes fell onto the many brochures tucked into a little stand next to the reception and realization dawned. This was a love hotel. Did… did Kita book it accidentally? It wouldn‘t be strange for your sometimes densely innocent boyfriend to think that maybe for your special weekend off, he should look for something extra romantic. And what was more romantic than a hotel with the word love in the title?

As you waited for the elevator you tried to think of a way to bring it up without sounding patronizing. The thought process was an adorable one for sure.

“11… 11… 9, 10, 11. Here we are.“, he announced and opened the door.

The hyperfixation demons are screeching at me to write a comprehensive list of all the reasons I like Fukutora, so today I present to you "Ant ignores their responsibilites and spends several paragraphs explaining why Fukutora is peak despite them having roughly 10 seconds of shared screen time"

1. Contrasting Personalities In general their personalities fit together really well— Fukunaga barely speaks while Tora exclusively shouts at max volume and can't stfu to save his life, Tora's overly-intense and takes everything way too seriously while Fukunaga's cracking jokes in the middle of important games, they're even literal opposites on the court as the two wing spikers. Their differences compliment each other perfectly and because of that I think they'd grow a lot being together, Fukunaga would learn to open up and Tora would mellow out. Another good contrast is how Tora's all about looking cool and standing out while Fukunaga tends to blend into the background, which leads into my next point...

2. MY ROMAN EMPIRE (aka chapter 309) I know it's only two pages out of a 33 chapter match but i dont care, this scene makes me feral. I read the manga after watching Dumpster Battle, so imagine my suprise when my two favorite losers had a moment THAT GOT CUT FROM THE FUCJIGN MOVIE (I'm still salty, it should've been a full season).

Anyways these pages rooted their way into my brain because they show that even though Fukunaga goes unnoticed by most people (both in-universe and by readers) Tora realizes how great he is, and not only respects his play style but views him as a rival on the same level as himself. One thing I appreciate about Tora is that despite him being the stereotypical "strong manly athlete" type he doesn't think his methods are the best or only way of doing things; Fukunaga scoring points without "big fanfare" is just as cool as the shit he and Tanaka pull off. The phrasing "that I hafta surpass" could even imply that Tora sees Fukunaga as more than an equal, as someone who's ahead of him since he doesn't need to be flashy or loud to do amazing stuff.

Look at his smile on page two, bro's just excited to have someone who motivates him to keep pushing himself. And as we've learned from Kagehina: what's gayer than a rivalry?? All in all I think it's sweet that Tora notcies his efforts and admires him when few others do. Side Note, I've seen a translation of these that call them "Nekoma's Wings" and I think that's a sick nickname.

3. Bi Tora and Internalized Homophobia I love a good internalized homophobia arc, and characters like Tora that center so much around girls and manliness are some of the most fun to explore them with imo. You could say he's one of the least likely characters in hq to be queer since he's THE woman-lover next to Tanaka and Noya (and Yachi) but that's what makes it interesting—his gay awakening would hit like a tsunami and send him into life-ruining bi panic for months, especially since he's already such a mess when it comes to romance. He gives me the vibes of someone who has no problem with other people being gay but struggles when it comes to himself since it clashes with his conception of what it means to "be a man" or whatever. My point is he'd have the most intense no homo phase to grace this earth and I think that's both super funny and compelling for his character.

Also as a bi person myself it's kind of frustrating how bisexuality is treated online sometimes. It's annoying when a person's queerness is negated the moment they show attraction for the opposite gender, so headcanoning a character like Tora as a bi while still being openly into women makes me happy.

4. The Stage Play They're so silly in the stageplay. Why is he dragging him around by the feet? Why are they screaming at Kenma? Why is he constantly bopping him on the head in the background? WHY IS HE SERVING FACE IN THE PROMO PICTURES? So silly.

(Ignore how blurry these are lol) 5. Ant's Little Sister Bias This is a me thing, I like ships where one party has an annoying little sister who bothers them, sue me. Its cute. Akane and Fukunaga could have the most adorable friendship if you believe.

6. They Match Each Others Energy My first post about them was me rambling about this so just read that, TDLR they're both energetic menaces who match each other's freak.

7. Kenma's Forced Third-Wheel Purgatory Putting Kenma in a situation where Kuroo's graduated and his closest remaining friends are dating and constantly forcing him to third-wheel is just about the evilest thing you could do to the guy. He may be one of my favorites but this is well-deserved punishment for his crimes.

8. Baffled x Baffling Another ship dynamic I like a lot is when one person is unabashedly weird and the other thinks they're a total freak... but likes them anyways. They don't know why they like them. They can't explain it to anyone. Whenever the person does more weird shit they're like "why tf do I like you." But even so they're whipped as hell. Anyways Tora barely understands a single thing Fukunaga does and I think that makes for a funny crush to have.

9. Fukunaga's "Current Concern" Don't have much to add here, it's just proof to me that they hang out idc. Like why are you concerned about what he wants?? Kinda gay dude. Big fan of Fukunaga whispering to him and Tora answering at full volume so other people hear a one-sided conversation.

• Chef x guy who eats a lot is peak fiction. In this case they both eat a lot. Their grocery bill is a horror story.

• I know it's because characters are usually grouped by year and Kenma ditches them to sit with Kuroo but they're always together in the stands, pretty gay if you ask me

• I hc Fukunaga as genderfluid so Tora still gets his chance to be a wife guy. Him and Tanaka ranting to each other while Kiyoko and Fukunaga drink tea in peaceful silence.

• I think Fukunaga's the type to enjoy people watching and Tora's always doing something dumb. Observing him like a little bug under a microscope

• They're both so silly looking, cartoony ahh designs. I just think they'd make a funny couple visually, they're so square and stick to me if that makes any sense lmaoo

Also Gorgug being exhasperated by his overly dramatic friends as he arrives like a normal, sane person. Hops out of his van, locks it with a little 'boop boop' noise. Half of his party appearing with flashes and screams and magical bullshit. He's pretty sure Riz just dropped out of a ceiling panel and is pretending he was there the whole time. Satoru Gojo

This 37 pieces of flair ass motherfucker. Jokes with customers like he knows them, slides in next to them in the booth while taking their orders, is WAY too enthusiastic about singing the non-copyrighted birthday song to people… you can’t even be mad though because holy shit does he rake in tips. 

When you first meet him you’ll think he’s a helpful, but harmless goody-two-shoes. Always making his tables smile, helping the equally well-liked new guy Yuuji learn the ropes, just always chipper and never seems like he hates his job too outwardly. You learn that he doesn’t even drink and it just solidifies your first impression of him.

Then you get to know him and realise he’s a little messy. If there’s any gossip that might be pertinent information, he’s the one who knows it. He’s not out here telling anyone’s secrets that have been entrusted with him, of course, but he just always seems to know what’s happening, where it’s happening, and who it’s happening with. It makes him fun to talk to during breaks or when you have a moment in the back. 

Then you go on a night out with the staff after work and realise… oh. He doesn’t drink, no, but when he does cut loose he’s out to party. Give him a little something else and he’s ready to go. He’s hard to keep up with too, going all night until sun up and then somehow showing up for work looking like nothing had happened the night before, bright and early. You’re not sure if he even slept, but there he is ready to do his job and anyone who hadn’t seen him off his head several hours prior is none the wiser. 

Once he realises he has a thing for you, he’s pulling strings to get you two on the same shifts as much as possible. Helping run things to your tables and checking on them when your section is busy (but making sure you get all of the tips, of course). Satoru generally just looks after you in your day to day job.

You’re going to have to be okay with PDA once you’re dating him. If he isn’t actively checking on his tables or bringing them things, he’s hanging off of you. Hand in your pocket, chin on your shoulder watching you key in an order. He’ll pout if you don’t want to spend your break making out.

Suguru Geto

The bar is his domain, his own little island separate from the drama and chaos of the rest of the restaurant. It’s the perfect place to stand for a second when things are getting to hectic, and he’s happy to let that happen, pretending that he needs to run the drink orders for your table by you to buy you a few seconds of not being shouted at or having to run around. 

He isn’t overly flashy, but has a good read on people so he knows when to show off while making drinks, when to chat with people, and when to leave someone be.

Suguru is pretty strict on checking IDs and not over serving as well. He won’t hesitate to escort someone out himself if they’re getting pissy over getting cut off. It doesn’t happen too often, it’s a casual place where the food is the main focus, but still. 

Generally stays out of the staff’s messiness, which makes it even more surprising that the person he’s closest to by far is Satoru Gojo, who absolutely does not stay out of everyone’s business. Gojo can often be found sitting on top his bar, and can be found getting told to get off his bar too. 

You first get an inkling he likes you by how often he calls you over when you seem stressed. If it’s really bad he can convince Gojo, with his endless amounts of energy, to check in on your section for a few minutes while you get your wits about you.

He has a way of calming you, even if it’s just by watching him pour drinks and pull beers. 

He’ll sometimes ask you to sit at his bar during your break if it’s pretty dead. He makes you a mocktail with a cute little umbrella in it too, giving you a smile that gives you immediate butterflies as he slides it over to you, pretending you’re a patron while you get off your feet for 15 mins. 

When he asks you out he takes you somewhere very different from where you work, somewhere with soft music and drinks way nicer than the standard things he has to serve day to day. He’s soft with you, patient, and once you’re his, that's that. 

The same way he’s the calm in the middle of the storm at work is the same way he is as your boyfriend. You can breathe with him and it’s nice. Sometimes when you’re stressed at work and way too busy to have your usual moment with him he’ll bring a drink out to a table for you instead of you having to retrieve it from his bar. He’ll give you a reassuring squeeze of your hand in passing and it calms your mind even as it sends butterflies through your stomach - reminding you to breathe as much as it reminds you of the very same way he squeezes your hand when he’s buried deep inside you. 

Choso

The back of the house is BAD fucking energy. The three cooks have tension for various reasons and Sukuna is just a messy bitch that lives for drama. Choso, however, might be the nicest of them all, despite being a little different. He's officially a line cook but winds up doing a bit of everything.

He’s divisive amongst the staff. For some he's the epitome of that “I just wish you would stop saying odd shit.” meme. The others that get him, get him. He’s harmless though, and the wait staff especially appreciate his work ethic.

Choso is good at his job, doesn’t fuck around, and he likes cooking. Things that are monotonous and have some set expectations help the day go by fast for him. He actually enjoys focusing on chopping vegetables or making sauces even if he’s doing it all damn day. He takes his job fairly seriously and doesn’t mess around on the clock. Except for the way his half-brother Yuuji’s tickets get priority if the restaurant is busy… and eventually maybe yours do too.

He’s usually quiet other than the odd non sequitur, but sweet to basically everyone he works with in his own way, other than Sukuna. He even gets on with Toji, who is the reason Choso winds up working so many extra hours. When Toji does show up he’s efficient, clean, respects the kitchen, and doesn’t make Choso have to try and be sociable. That suits him just fine.

See, Choso just doesn’t always pick up on social cues the way people seem to expect him to, so it’s easier just to focus on his work. When he meets you though… it’s enough to distract him when you come to grab orders, or ask him a question about a dietary restriction or daily menu. 

The first few times you talk to him it catches him off guard, and he stares at you like a deer in headlights. He’s grateful for your patience every time though, and he does eventually snap out of it and answer you. After a while he even goes out of his way to thank you when you pick up your plates. Not that he needed to… that was weird and unnecessary but he takes every chance he gets to speak to you. Especially since he’s usually rushing around back there and sometimes misses seeing you.

When he decides to just tell you he likes you (he might as well, half the staff seems to mess around with each other, so it’s okay since he really really likes you, right?) he asks his brother for advice. It’s weird for him, being the older brother he expects to be the one giving his younger sibling advice, but these things don’t come easily for him and they absolutely do for Yuuji. He’s grateful to his brother for being so non judgemental with him, and even more grateful that the advice he was dubious of - being honest, being himself - pays off when you agree to hang out with him after work. 

The advice stays in Choso’s head, and makes your budding relationship easier for it: he’s always himself with you, always honest. Telling you when he’s nervous, telling you when he wants to kiss you, telling you when he wants to be your boyfriend, to spend all his time with you even if it was just sitting in the same room doing separate things.

Toji Fushiguro

No one really knows exactly how this motherfucker still has a job. 

He’s a cook and he's good at it, don’t get me wrong. You could even call him a chef if he weren't slinging cheap food. He's efficient, runs a tight kitchen, but he just doesn’t even show up half the fucking time. Or he’ll be gone for like a month (and none of you have that kind of time off) and everyone thinks he’s finally actually fired but then there he is one day, dicing onions like he’s on iron chef or something.

He’s that one guy on staff who has been there for years but no one knows shit about him. Or they think they do but it might just be rumours that someone heard from someone else who used to work there. Never volunteers information, never goes out with everyone after work (unless someone else is paying…), and IF he shows up he’s gone the second his shift is over - do not ask him questions, do not talk to him, BYE. 

Still, he’s friendly enough when he’s at work. He’s a relentless flirt when it comes to some of the staff, but in that kind of easy, confident way where you think he’s not really serious. Especially flirty with the older manager which, come to think of it, maybe that’s why he’s still employed…

When you start working there you don’t expect to be the one that starts actually getting to know Toji. Like, actually know him. Know about him. It surprises you the first time it happens. You’re having a little back and forth at work, flirting a little, laughing and hitting his arm when he teases you because of course you try to get a feel of his biceps even in a way that seems playful. Then he mentions something about his childhood. Something innocuous, tinged with a little sadness, but you might not have caught it if you hadn’t gotten used to his little micro-expressions. You don’t draw attention to it, you just continue as normal, as if it weren’t some kind of breadcrumb, and hope it happens again.

It does, a few times, and eventually one of those breadcrumbs he drops is him asking you out for a drink. On him. It’s how you learn that Toji likes to take care of people when he really likes them. He just doesn’t really like that many people.

You eventually even find out that he disappears from work so often because he’s taking up different odd jobs, not liking to be bored, not liking to be idle or feel trapped. He always comes back though, he has a little rotation of places he chooses to be, things he chooses to do. He has to force himself into a routine, even if they’re broken up into different routines every now and again.

The first time he brings you back to his place it feels like something special and the first time you two have sex, well, that is something special.

As far as everyone else at work is concerned, nothing has changed. Toji still doesn’t open up to others, he’s still out of the kitchen the second his shift is done, but he waits in the parking lot. He waits for you.

Ryomen Sukuna

Also a cook in the kitchen, and has beef with eeeeveryooooone. He’s always running his mouth, always late, and generally doesn’t give a shit. Wait staff are scared when someone sends their food back and he’s who they have to ask to remake it. 

Not even his brother is exempt from his attitude, in fact Yuuji gets the worst of it.

He fucks around most of the time and it pisses Choso off. It doesn’t help that Choso has weird feelings towards him because he’s full brothers with Yuuji and doesn’t seem to have that same protective streak (or appreciation of their shared parent). Things just get tense back there because of that. 

Sukuna can’t fucking stand how Toji doesn’t show up half the time and they end up busting ass to make up for it. It’s pretty hypocritical of him considering he shows up very, very late for his shifts and dicks around out back or in the walk-in constantly. 

There’s always an argument when Toji finally does show up, but it doesn’t last long because neither of them are the type to raise their voices. It’s just tense energy, sarcasm, and lots of face pulling between the two of them. It's a weird one because they both will have a problem with someone on sight… but also both don’t give too much of a shit about anything really.

Honestly he only has the job for a more steady income stream and something legal on paper, because it's definitely not his only income, so to speak.

You know that co-worker you warn newbies about? Especially if those newbies are pretty girls who don’t always know how to spot a scumbag? Yeah, that's Sukuna. With his sharp wit, handsome face, and unusually nice car. He gets a little thrill out of fucking a cute waitress in the walk-in fridge (or his car in the parking lot if they’re shy). He doesn’t care how awkward it is once he starts ignoring them at work, and not answering their texts. Good thing there’s a high turnover rate here…

You get warned about Sukuna, hell maybe even see him in action. Flirting, clearly hooking up with, and then ghosting another new hire. Still… you can’t help having a thing for him.

So you decide it’ll be casual, and God does it seem worth it. He’s fun, exciting, and he fucks like an animal. You’re surprised at the things he gets you to do, but you love every second of it. If only you weren’t sort of kind of starting to catch feelings.

“Dating” Sukuna is more of a situationship, to be honest. Yeah you flirt at work, yeah he playfully asks “where’d you get all those cute little hickeys on your neck” in front of everyone, yeah he eats you out in the walk-in, and yeah he gets pissy if he happens to see you being what he considers flirty with a customer (aka being friendly and trying to actually get some tips). You argue with him often, getting his hackles up and acting as if he doesn’t even like you if he feels like you’re implying he might be jealous. But then the very next night it’s business as usual and he has an arm over you at all times while you spend the night in his bed - grumbling in his sleep if you try to move anywhere but as close to him as possible. It’s complicated. 

BONUS:

The energy in the kitchen is weird. If it’s one person on shift at a time it’s fine, or even if it’s Choso and Toji. But all three? You just don’t even want to be there half the time, grabbing plates of food and heading back out front asap. 

When it’s Toji and Sukuna though… it’s interesting. Bad-interesting half the time, but you can’t help being fascinated by that odd tension between them. 

You tease Sukuna about it one night, laying in his bed naked, and it plants a seed in his head. Toji had flirted with you a little when you first got hired, because of course he had. He hadn’t stopped once it was clear you were fooling around with Sukuna either. Not that he minded, he wanted to fuck your as soon as he met you, of course Toji had too. He was smart. Flaky, sure, but smart. And you had flirted back…

The next day at work the two men seem to be getting along, and it’s almost more unsettling than when they hadn’t. You don’t know that they’ve had a little chat of their own, cutting to the chase as they usually did with each other because you can’t bullshit a bullshitter, can you?

in general i think people get too hung up on taking easy potshots at politicians for wearing 'ugly' clothes and it obfuscates how those sartorial choices actually speak to their public image. for example kyrsten sinema's clothes are quite clearly meant to be provocative (by dc standards lol) and to clash; she's playing up the idea of being some kind of brash, flashy outsider despite what are actually quite standard-order reactionary politics. the clothes mean something; just calling them ugly is sometimes funny i guess, but ignores this entire dimension of meaning to them and is overly credulous toward us politics where a hefty dose of cynicism is called for. similarly, boris johnson's rumpled clothes and hair were part of a larger conscious effort to present himself as a populist, speaking to 'the people' 'on their level'. and just calling his clothes or hair ugly or making fun of them misses all of this and in fact ends up playing into his narrative where he's this 'real' down-to-earth guy endearingly stuck in a world of stuffy elites. like, it's annoying that fashion is considered so frivolous that these actually meaningful dimensions of it get glossed over in favour of just like, insulting people for wearing things that are 'out of style'. that type of good/bad aesthetic judgment is always contingent and in flux, yet it's treated as some kind of universal truth or standard that gives transcendent meaning to the statement "that's ugly". i think we can do better. all that said i really have no idea what's up with rishi sunak's suits

Despite her flamboyant and spectacular performances on stage at the Shining Ring's biggest Casino, Alli is all but a fraud.

Most wouldn't be able to tell that her acts are all fake. Just tricks of the light or very strategic stage tricks. She works hard to make sure everything looks spectacular and entertaining from down below in the seats… or well.. at least makes sure her stage hands work hard.

Whether or not magic does exist doesn't matter, in the end its just about money. Real or fake it doesn't matter, what sells, sells. Wasn't entirely the route she was expecting to take in her life but it's where she's at now and she is good at it.

She is extremely cocky and arrogant and demanding of those around her to make sure her performances go well. At this point, is she even doing much work out there?

However, stage tricks aren't enough to keep a crowd interested, so she sometimes has to resort to… interesting outfit changes to gather attention. She isn't the best at flirting face to face, but that doesn't really matter when you are on stage with a short skirt.

She gets easily worked up over any critic reviews of her show. What would they know anyhow. Better hope you aren't a stagehand who happens to be nearby when a bad review drops.

But despite her cockiness on stage, there is some level of discomfort with it. Sometimes she wonders if it's really worth it to be this way. Maybe she shouldn't rely on such cheap tricks to gain a audience. A deep ache resides in her chest whenever a child happens to pass by mentioning that they love magic and hope to see a show of hers once they grow up. She remembers when she believed in that stuff too. It hurts a little.

But she doesn't know why. DEFAULT WEAPON:

Is conjured by "pulling" out of her head gem.

Usually summoning it causes a mild headache. She cannot conjure it if her gem is somehow damaged or covered, even by her own hair.

The wand/cane can expand for as long as she needs to for the situation. She can also determine how flimsy or stiff the cane is. So it can either be being hit with a flimsy switch or getting nailed with a lead pipe.

Normally a clear glass like appearance during the day. But within starlight or specific brands of stagelight, it glows. EXTRA DESIGN NOTES:

-> Has a more witchy type outfit but had to go more magician for the gimmick. BUT kept the hat overly large with the crinkled tip just as a bit of a nod to the original.

-> Sparkle markings appear on her face, her hair shimmer and lightly faded on her tail tips. The ones on her face are supposed to mildly resemble that of clowns.

-> Has several gems that mimic her forehead gem on her body. When she performs, she somewhat hides that she is pulling her staff from her head gem. That way it leaves to some illusion on just WHICH gem she is pulling it from. Most assume she can pull it from any of them.

-> The inside of her cape has that like… "space" texture that changes and warps as she moves around. Is it just some kind of mythical fabric or does she own like 50 fucking capes with different sequin space patterns? WHO KNOWS

-> I'M NOT... ENTIRELY HAPPY WITH THE OUTFIT but like. Magician outfits can be kinda basic and so trying to do something more flashy but also like?? I don't know! I don't know how fashion or clothing work I'm still learning and practicing give a man a break

🎮 They all would be so excited to try to play videogames. They have never seen anything like them before. Well, they have seen the very early videogames, but the ones you have are so much more... MORE!

🎮 So, they all begin asking you random questions about the games you play. Who is that guy? What's a Mario? Who's MegaMan? Then, the most important question of all: how do you play?

🎮 This begins the task of teaching all of these puppets how to play various videogames, all on different consoles. It can get difficult due to their hands being different from one another. Poppy has wings and feathers, Barnaby has large paws, and Howdy has so many hands he can't decide which ones he should use to hold the remote or DS.

🎮 However, once you teach everyone how to play whatever game it is, it gets pretty fun! Especially party games or competitive ones. Watching a group of puppets get overly invested in a game of Mario Kart, no matter which game in the series, is enjoyable to watch. To your surprise, Wally seems to be the most competitive out of the group, causing you to have to teach him the value in letting others win from time to time and how bragging can hurt people's feelings. He takes that lesson to heart, though, going on to be more calm while playing.

🎮 Frank usually sticks to his own games, enjoying puzzle games, like Tetris or Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (he claims that these two games are COMPLETELY different due to the plot in Dr. Robotnik's). He is really good at them, too! Sometimes the others will watch him play it in awe, mesmerized by the pretty colors and music.

🎮 The final big surprise to you is how much Eddie loves mystery games. He can play any game based off of Sherlock Holmes or any other mystery novel for hours. He might not get exactly what is going on, especially in games that involve violent crimes like murder, but he gets the basic concept of "find the bad guy" and using clues to do so.

🎮 Most of the others stick to multiplayer, casual party games or racing games. Poppy does love baking games, though, including flash games revolving around baking. You kind of expected this, however, due to her preexisting love for baking. Sally likes any game with flashy style and drama. Barnaby likes to play Fibbage from time to time, of course, keeping the jokes clean (mostly because none of the puppets entirely understand or are aware of adult topics and humor being... Well... From a children's show). Sally likes Hello Kitty games because of the adorable aesthetic, and Howdy likes games about... managing things? He keeps finding these oddly specific games about running stores and such. Like, a VERY specific genre of tycoon games.

🎮 Home, whose puppet you found seems to be the size of a small cardboard box, can't really play games, but it seems to like to watch you play games. It shows extra happiness when you play home care/restoration/design games like House Flipper. It also enjoys watching you play The Sims, too, which you have made a household just for the Welcome Home crew.

🎮 Sometimes, due to little accidents, things break. Since controllers are designed with human hands in mind, felt or feathery puppet hands can drop things by accident. Over time, it becomes a little rule that they should try to keep their hands as close to the floor or whatever surface is closest to their hands as possible. That way, if they drop the controller, it will have less of a chance of breaking.

🎮 They probably ask you numerous questions about subjects discussed in the games they play. They can range from "why does the dog in Nintendogs act so different from Barnaby?" to "what is murder?" Needless to say, depending on the topic, you get some very strange whiplash due to puppets asking about dark, disturbing topics. You try your best to explain, though, because you know if you don't, they'll try to figure it out on their own. Might as well be you so they don't get any misinformation or stumble upon something horrific.
