Specifically, as of February this year, I have made it my mission to collect as many resources for the Final Fantasy community as I can; including, but not limited to: Communities, Events, Free Companies, How-To Guides, Lore, Tools and more! I have compiled them into Sea's Community Compendium for FFXIV Creatives, a venture I hope will service as a directory for new and old FFXIV players alike to find places and things they might not otherwise know about, and I'm proud to say that the Compendium has over a hundred individual entries!

Specifically, as much as this is a call to introduce new people to the Compendium, it is a call for anyone who might know of specific resources/communities that not in the document to take a moment's time out of their day to let me know about them. You can submit specific resources via:

Projects like mine equally cannot survive without the support of the community. Okay, but really, Is my space suitable for the Compendium? Most of the time, yes! Below the read more is some more information/stipulations. This is all publicly available on the document.

I want to put my community on the Compendium but we have an application process. Is this okay?

Yes! Just note somewhere in your application that's a requirement. The only thing that is mandatory for the Compendium is that you must be open to new members or have a public-facing/accessible facet. There's no point advertising a community if no one can join it in some way!

I want to put my Community on the compendium but I only have x number of members —

Also totally okay! People don't start with large communities. Activity is a must but, whether your server has two or two thousand members, if you're looking for new people to join, I'd love to help you find people.

I want to put my community/resource on the Compendium but I worry its too niche?

Okay, and? If your Eorzean Fishing Alliance has four members but you roleplay every second weekend, I still want to know about it. The same goes for resources; if it's relevant to the game, it'll be useful to someone.

How active does a community need to be?

If you find a community has not been active in about two/three months, send me a message and I'll take a look at it. Communities have ebbs and flows, especially event spaces that may take hiatuses depending on member interest/life events. I'm not strict in my implementation provided a space isn't dead. If a link or anything is broken, contact me asap!

I have 14 custom photocards of Formula 1 drivers laying around, that I’ve been meaning to give away or sell since I’ve lost interest in F1. Then it dawned on me — instead of charging customers directly, why not make it a donation drive to help people in Gaza?

The Process

Make your donation to at least one of any of these fundraisers. Donations to multiple fundraisers are fine too, so long as it adds up to the minimum donation amount for your purchase! A witchcraft basics doc; update, resource call, interest check, and a possible second doc

Bet most of you didn't even know I was working on this >:D

Yes this is a huge post. It's a lot of things.

So, one of my first posts ever on this blog was me mentioning that a friend of mine had NO clue what they were signing up for when asking for the basics of witchcraft. The google doc I wrote took on a life of its own, and the post did as well when people started asking for it. I still plan to tag said people when I post it, assuming they haven't deactivated. The thing is, this doc had become a proper project, and it took a long time for me to have the motivation to work on it again. Now, though, it seems to me like a damn good way to reconnect to my craft after a rut! (which, by the way, is why I've been offline.)

So, my first post back is for a couple of reasons. For one, if you have any resources you'd think would be useful for beginner witches, feel free to shoot me an ask, DM, or comment/reblog on this post! I'll have a list of things I'm putting in the doc (taking recommendations there as well) at the bottom of this post.

The other thing is that I might end up making a second doc, one that's a little less "101" in vibe. It would have a MAJOR MAJOR UPG warning on it, first off, and I'm not sure whether or not I would be marking any UPG either since this would essentially be a second Grimoire/Book of Shadows for me that would be public to others for the sake of sharing information! I can't say I'd call it "advanced witchcraft" by any means, I'm not very fancy lol, but I don't want the basics doc to get too overwhelming. I do, however, want to scream about random witchcraft topics that interest me. So this is also a bit of an interest check for that, as well as the basics doc.

FINAL NOTE: I fully plan on posting this basics doc before it's done. Some sections will be unwritten or unfinished, because if I wait until I find it "finished" I'll never post it. It's going to be added onto whenever I can, but I feel as though getting it out is the best course of action.

appropriation* (I don't know near enough about this, I just check what's in my own practice. I would like this to include a list of commonly appropriated closed practices, a definition of appropriation and why it shouldn't be done, open pantheons, and common open practices.)

where someone could go from here* (including sigils, tarot, crystals bc my friend likes rocks lol, maybe astrology but oh god I have nothing about that it makes my brain hurt just looking at an astrology chart /pos. I will probably make a list of stuff that I could add in this section.)

paganism and witchcraft; overlap, what they are individually, why one might be for you rather than the other, etc.*

things commonly touched on in the community (your deities don't hate you, cycles of inactivity and burnout, other things I'm forgetting rn)

In the interest of being able to start early because I'm easily overwhelmed, I've compiled my own list of prompts for writing in October.

Similarly to last year, I'll be doing some smut, some fluff and some angst, just to spice things up a little. I'm assuming most of them will turn out as One Piece or Teen Wolf, but we'll see where it takes me!

I hope Courtney knows that she doesn't have to pretend to be part of the lgbt community to be interesting. She's never had any relationships with any girls and most of the people she's dated and were attracted with are men. I think she was so desperate to be as interesting as Damien, Shayne, and Ian that she decided to adopt being queer as her "thing"

hey, what an absolutely despicable ask to send me, a bisexual woman!

this kind of biphobia (although 'bisexual' isn't the official term courtney uses to label herself, biphobia is the most fitting descriptor here and so i'll be using that throughout) in my ask box is disappointing and disheartening. it is not courtney's job to be in (what is perceived as) a same-sex relationship to be queer. they don't have to be in such a relationship to get your approval, or to prove herself as a "real" lgbt person. some bi/pan/queer people will never have same-sex relationships. just like some will never have straight relationships, and some will never have any relationships at all. that doesn't mean the attraction isn't real or isn't there. no matter what their relationship status is, that attraction doesn't fade. she will continue to be attracted to women and to be queer their entire life. liking more than one gender is valid. being queer is valid. courtney's feelings, although they're none of our fucking business even if she's been gracious enough to share them with us, are valid. just because they're in a 'heterosexual' relationship right now doesn't mean she stops being queer - not to mention, it isn't a heterosexual relationship, it's inherently a queer relationship because they are in it. they're nonbinary and lgbt. any relationship they're in will be a queer one.

i'm just honestly... so affronted and disgusted by this whole idea. what on gods earth makes you think they're pretending? why would she drag herself through that mental anguish? if you'll remember, courtney grew up in a religious mormon household. why put herself through that? for 'clout'? to be 'different'? i'll tell you what, as someone who grew up 'different' in a religious family, it is not fucking fun. it is ignorant and disrespectful of you to assume anyone has the comfort to "pretend" they're queer to "stand out." i did not spend years at my bedside trying to pray away the gay just for someone like you to come in and say someone in my community is pretending. i did not go through my formative years lamenting how different i was from everyone around me for you to come in and accuse another queer person of faking it.

and another thing - it is fucking BAFFLING to me that you would say courtney was 'desperate' to be as interesting as shayne, damien, and ian. you named three white straight men. hello???? are you fucking blind to what you just wrote? courtney has been out here BEING different, being unique and interesting and genuinely herself. for as long as i've been watching smosh, they have been the core of that company. as of this moment, they are the only current non-male main cast member and the second-longest-running main cast member overall. she's an accomplished writer, actor, producer, and director. without her, there's no funeral roasts, no reunions, no 'our leaked dms.' without her, there's simply no smosh, because they're a major part of the reason that company even lived through the defy collapse and the pandemic. they're also just objectively one of the funniest cast members there (can you imagine not having boneless. or pov you're a lobster. i honestly wish i could be half the comedic genius courtney is and that's not an exaggeration or a joke). they are interesting because of who they are, not because they're 'pretending' to be anything. courtney would be just as popular and beloved as she currently is even if she had never come out, which they only did because they were brave and trying to be their most authentic version of herself.

this ask left my stomach rolling. i am absolutely appalled. the smoshblr community we've created here is meant to be a safe haven, as smosh the company has become, for outcasts and oddballs, and that is supposed to include the lgbt community. i have praised smoshblr again and again for being the place i've felt most comfortable and accepted, but this is extremely hurtful. as a bisexual woman who has constantly struggled with being 'queer' enough, i take this kind of thing personally. and you may be thinking that this isn't about me, but it is. this is about every queer person who has been accused of 'faking it' by one biphobe or another. if a person says they're queer - they're fucking queer. end of story.

One Year Anniversary!

It has officially been one year since my OC's Luke and Matt popped into my head and I began sharing their shenanigans with all of you on Tumblr!

It's actually been a little over a year but I've been away on holidays and only just now available to start being active again!

To celebrate their one year anniversary, I did a sketch from 'What The Actual' where Matt discovers Luke's size shifting abilities for the first time.

It's not perfect and Matt looks much more fem than intended but I'm pretty happy with it!

I also have a few stories lined up and ready for editing before publishing them here so stay tuned!

I just want to say a big thank you to my lovely little following on here, interacting with my posts, sending asks (I'm slowly working through replying I promise!) and engaging with me and my characters. A year ago I never would have thought that anyone would be interested or enjoy my stories at all and yet here we are. I wouldn't have had the motivation to get this far without all of you so thank you all so much!

I also want to say that because I love this community so dearly, I am open to doing suggested stories for free, either in an ask or feel free to DM me, I only ask that you stick to SFW stories, intimacy can be implied but shouldn't be explicit.

I can't promise I will write them in any kind of hurry, but as a gift to the community and to my followers I will be taking suggested stories and writing ALL of them! yep, that's right! I'm working with some friends on an indi animated show inspired by all those who came before! The concept has been building for around a year now and we've decided to start looking for some more artists and writers!

The show is called ZOMBIECORE!

ZOMBIECORE is a horror mystery show about a zombie bunny in a city of cannibal demons! Follow her as she searches for her killer through the 5 districts of Ghastown!

oh....quite honestly SO many people in this rpc i can't tag them all but i'll tag as many as i can - @heiilari - vixen is just??? she embodies everything i adore about writing in a community. not only is she the most friendly person, but she will help with every little thing you mention and not expect anything in return. looking for commissions? she sends you profiles of artists she uses. thinking about faceclaims?? she has resources for the characters and sends them all your way. outside of this?? my god, i am a slut for her talent at lore building. she has constructed so many interesting and unique characters, some of which weave into one another and each headcanon and lore post she drops i obsess over for a good few minutes. just....an absolute inspiration @toxitrosia - i mean...shock horror, starlette has to be tagged for this one too. between the aesthetics, the style of writing and her portrayal of valentino i am constantly in awe. they have managed to take the concept of valentino apart, and reconstruct them entirely as their own, in a way i feel delves into darker, more complex themes that i don't believe the show would have time to ever linger upon. between the shift in valentino's demonology and the change of valentino's abilities and rise to power, i am forever inspired & always looking forward to what i'll see next @gamblins - my darling autumn!!! honestly they have been my biggest inspiration, between the wobbly days where i fear my portrayal isn't strong, or i feel as though i'm not active enough they are always there to reassure me and have my back! between our sharing of headcanons, artwork and daily chats they are always inspiring me and reigniting my muse! @blitzbuckz - lizzy??? nah you ain't fooling anyone, thats fucking blitz behind that screen. truly, it's rare that i have a blog where i see each post and just go...yep, that's them. the skill in which they write blitz is mindboggling, and the only reason i KNOW that they're not ACTUALLY blitz is because their drawings are fucking incredible. quite honestly just gazing in pure admiration and inspiration whenever they bring our fave imp to the dash

oof - i mean...it's changed, a lot. not necessarily in the best ways at points? with callout & cancel culture, anon hate and general drama....but i feel as though the way in which everyone writes is better - no shade to paragraph writers or one liners, i'm talking 2010 when we wrote actions with asterisks and used painfully huge gifs that weren't even in context for the writing & i feel like communicating ooc has changed drastically with the addition of tools like dm's i'm showing my age and discord

Y'ALL.

Despite getting like four hours of sleep I just played the most thought-provoking freebie indie visual novel with a simple gothic style to it

-- and last night I played an indie freebie platform with a gorgeous gothic art style --

and since tcoaal is my current hyperfixation ( primary content on my blog, and the reason a lot of folks are here atm ) I thought that as I'm going through my Steam games I've been hoarding forever ( especially freebies ), I'm going to make a collection of games with a similar feel or style and compile a recommendations list here on my blog.

I feel that not only would that be good exposure for those indie developers, but it would also give me the ability to give other people an idea of warnings and whatnot before they click into the game. ( I do not have an major triggers and can play dark fictional content safely without any threat to my mental health. )

Would people like that? A rec list of gothic style games ( some free, some paid ) with content warnings ( but no detailed plot spoilers ) so that people like me who are perhaps impatiently waiting for tcoaal updates can find some similar content or themes in other games in the meantime?

These games may not even fall into the proship or problematic(tm) category but I think it would be nice to share more of what seems to be a niche interest in dark or edgy content for a lot of us, and right now I have the time and means to explore some options available to me.

for anon asking about NPD/ASPD resources

For context, anon sent in an ask searching for nonstigmatizing resources for support with PD diagnoses and other stigmatized diagnoses.

And this is such a good ask--it is so fucking frustrating and dehumanizing to try to search for support when half the stuff that pops up is using really cruel language or just directed towards family and friends. The community definitely deserves better, both when it comes to the way psych professionals perpetuate stigma and in regards to the prejudice and sanism that shows up in other communities in our lives. Unfortunately, I don't have a ton of resources on hand, although I do know one good support group. The rest of the resources I know of are kind of mediocre or not PD specific, so if other people could add on I would really, really appreciate it!

Neuromancers runs a discord and a Cluster B peer support group that I've heard really good things about. I haven't been myself, so I can't 100 % vouch, but they're a group with abolitionist and mad pride values.

This might not be exactly what you're looking for, but it's an article exploring cultural bias in PD diagnosis that links to a lot of sources that talk about how psychiatry contributes to stigma around personality disorders. I clicked through some of the studies that it links to and it does use a lot of medicalized language, but I thought I would link the article anyway in case it's ever helpful to have academic sources to show to other people.

Also not exactly what you're looking for, but another article debunking some of the common talking points about NPD in pop psychology (Content warning that it is discussing some very ableist myths in the context of challenging them)

Last sort of general resources for peer support that I have some trust that they are PD friendly are the Wildflower Alliance and Hearing Voices Network Groups. Wildflower alliance groups offer a lot of different general peer support and I have one friend with NPD who has spoken positively of those spaces. Hearing Voices Network groups can vary a lot depending on location, so defintely plan to email ahead, but I've been to a few groups that welcome people who generally identify as psych survivors/mad/ex patients who want to share community spaces around those values. Also want to share is the neurodivergent friendly workbook of DBT skills (the link is to buy it directly from the creator but if anyone who is interested can't afford it rn, dm me and I'll send you a pdf.) Again, I know this is really not super relevant to what you asked for but is one of the less stigmatizing, less medicalizing workbooks I can find for accessing info about coping skills and this is one of my general favorite support resources.

Overall I'm really sorry that I don't have better resources to offer you, and I think that really should be a sign to the mad pride/psych abolition/peer support community that we need to do a lot better job in making sure that our spaces are explicitly welcome to people with stigmatized PD diagnoses. The work shouldn't have to be on you to try to navigate these spaces and figure out whether or not you're welcome, and any spaces that offer peer support, are aligned with mad pride and psych abolition, really should be doing the work to make sure lateral violence and sanism aren't being perpetuated.

What does Virux sound like/Does he have a voice claim? His current voice claim. His voice fluctuates a lot, especially when he's teasing or playing around. (I have been told people like my voice for Virux though I am not a voice actor lol)
