I cannot remember where I saw it, only that I did.

The whole post was about Jesus's story being similar to how someone can say they had like, 300 or 3000 [some ridiculous number] hits / home runs / something like that, and about how people who witnessed it / heard about it would blow it out of proportion, to the point where it didn't really matter if the original person who achieved that thing actually ever got that incredible number, the mythology around the idea of their achievement had taken on a life of its own.

That's how I remember it, at least.
