I've had this oc rolling around in my head for a while now and I have to set them free.

This is Riley Parker, they are an amateur boxer making a living as a part-time convenience store clerk in San Myshuno. Riley has always had to fight for what was theirs, biting and clawing their way from foster family to foster family as a young kid. When they aged out of the system, they spent the next few years train-hopping until they finally settled on their current place of residence, starving and lonely and only slightly feral.

Their ambition wants to see them punching skulls in until they are on the professional boxing circuit and they will tear down everyone on their way until they get there.

It is very interesting seeing this line and then remembering that the context is Alistair being very upset that a Circle mage is... selling (smuggled) lyrium to the Templars. Alistair. Honey. If anyone in this arrangement is taking advantage of anyone it's not Godwin. Also given Godwin can't leave (meaning he can't really do a lot of shopping) I doubt it's just about the money? Like, it would make a lot of sense for part of the reasoning to be "If I'm supplying them with lyrium they'll probably be nice to me". I would love the option for a mage Warden to actually comment on the fact that... yeah, a lot of mages probably have arrangements of some variation or other with the Templars to keep them more or less friendly! Smuggling lyrium for them is probably one of the less upsetting options! The moments where Alistair's Templar training and lack of experience with mages and the Circles come to the surface are so fascinating to me, I'd love to actually discuss it with him.

Random WIP concepts for @aka-indulgence Moon God Sans AU. It temporarily woke me out of art mode hibernation/hiatus. Showing these in case I don’t get to finish them.

Top concept:  Probable illustration material. The second set of arms are barely held together debris via gravity. The only way I thought a second set of arms magically appear in the imprisoned canon when he didn’t have them before.

Middle/Bottom concepts: Technically, my first concepts. Second set of arms would exaggerate and emphasize the loose, unstable orbit of the Moon and New Moon Sans, himself, per canon. 

Clothing and jewelry still very WIP on both, since I usually don’t design complex clothing. Still working on more moon symbolism.

Soooo I've been rotating a HTTYD ToA AU in my brain for the last few years. Not much plot stuff, mainly the GoA just hanging out and instigating shenanigans as we should've gotten to see more of and maybe fighting some evil stuff, only they have dragons and it takes place in the same time period as HTTYD. Similar dynamic to the dragon riders.

Anyway! I've been wanting to redraw this concept for a while (drew Jim and Claire and their dragons ages ago and they're absolutely atrocious), I think it would be a good way to make myself draw some of the other characters I love but don't draw as much, soooo... any dragon suggestions? So far I've locked in:

Jim - Light Fury (cause blue and idk I just think it works)

Claire - Razorwhip (the Shadow Staff always reminded me of one lol, also there are canonically ones with purple eyes)

Toby - Gronkle (cause Rocks)

Aja - Deadly Nadder (fun-loving and energetic but also badass and dangerous)

Douxie maaaay have a Skrill but idk. So yeah if anyone in both fandoms has any suggestions then let me know!

Spinder gets the point of this thought exercise but if they're going to ask such a contrived question, he's going to give a contrived answer. Which means he would learn a lot about trolleys and how easy it is to derail them (I am far from an expert but I think it would depend on the landscape. I suspect a trolley with a cable grip, like in San Francisco, is harder to derail if the cable grip is active, but idk). He's got a whole plan for derailing, or otherwise mechanically disrupting the trolley (if it stops pulling power does it stop moving? how fast can he get on the roof?). Aside from his absolute pettiness he also can't help but imagine the fallout from having vehicularly manslaughtered one or more people and he doesn't think he could deal with that.

Christina "now you're thinking with warpals" Larousse would just warp the trolley. Ideally this would happen after she already was not in the trolley, but if she has to die with it, so be it. In general, if sacrificing herself would save everyone else, she'd probably do it. But if there are other people in the trolley, as in some versions of the problem, because she's not going to sacrifice them to warp. Hypothetically she could just warp away the split in the track, thereby derailing the trolley and saving everyone. But that's a much smaller target than a trolley and harder to hit when she's moving. If she had to actually abide by the rules of the exercise she would kill the one person. Unless that one person was her father. Then she'd be so paralyzed about it that she'd do nothing and the five people would die. Which is still a lot less people than she indirectly enabled Althea to kill, but that's cold comfort.

Althea would let the five be killed without hesitation if there was a single person among them that had ever pissed her off. She doesn't really care either way, but it would feel better to get a little revenge. However, she would also switch away from a track Christina is tied to, an absolutely frigid comfort for Christina.

Vic, among others, has pointed out that if you do nothing, you're not responsible for what happens. Which is a tenuous position, but he would like it to be true. But he'd also rather kill one person than five, so make of that what you will.

Celia and Allison are still wondering what kind of Gotham-ass trolley line this is, like, first of all, how did these people get tied to the tracks? Is this some kind of a trick? Are the five people all robots and the one person a human? There's just not enough information here.

Dez would be extremely dismayed by the idea that the five people could be robots. But if they were, they have backups, right? Right? Syndy is already holding him back from steering away from the five probably-robots, because she considers herself an expert on how humans die, actually, so they can't run over the human. If the robots turn out to be humans, they are both scarred for life and also the first androids to go to jail, probably. They develop a weird game of chicken where they keep saying they're going to delete the memories but come up with reasons not to. Doing this only deals them more psychic damage.

"You just gotta kill the one person," Avis says, with total conviction and complete boredom. "That's how these puzzles work. You gotta do a shitty thing, so you have to do the least shitty version of the thing." It's a toss up if she'd automatically run over the five if she was considering whether or not to run over Sid as the one person, though.

Unfinished fic (wip name: Faded Memories of a (Not so) Distant Past)

So I wrote this after yesterday's (16/07) stream but I don't see it heading anywhere and because I hate deleting half-written works, I thought that I'd release it out into the world.

It was essentially gonna be a fic where lots of things in Fit's 14 year old world reminded him of something (Ramón) but he couldn't place exactly what, teasing almost a memory loss type of thing. It was gonna be slightly angsty but with happy references to the stream (like the tazercraft dogs, the huevitos having hyperfixations, etc.)

He’d been flying around the island, he’d lived there for over 13 years, it would’ve been longer but he’d been invited to another island for a year, so he knew the surrounding land like the back of his hand, with his mini companions on his shoulders and in his bandana. The sky was grey. Rain was imminent and he wanted to get home before it soaked through his mechanically engineered wings. He’d had the idea one day, despite having never been inclined towards engineering before. 

When constructing the mechanism, he’d been hit with a feeling that he couldn’t quite place. For it felt like he’d done this before, but he had no recollection of it, like it’d been wiped from his mind. He’d shaken it off and it hadn’t returned for a long time.

The flying blue creature was trapped in a cage by the Pillagers that had settled in a field right by a cliff. He thought it stupid, not settling in an area of high ground, especially as they were predominantly crossbow users, but he paid no more attention to it as he quickly broke the allay out. 

As it passed by him, finally free from the wood enclosure, it reminded him of another once flying friend. He hadn’t thought about him in a while, since the other island had shut down. He huffed to himself once, his companions bouncing on his shoulders slightly while mesmerised by the allay.

He jumped from the ground, soaring into the sky once more, not giving the allay another thought until it flew by next to him, calming the sad noises his companions made. Once again, he felt familiarity with the blue creature, not too unlike the relationship he had with his miniature counterparts.

It was a mischievous little thing, the allay that his companions had named Azul Megatron, flying in loops around him as he flew back to his base. It was several days of travelling, so Fit had given it some watermelons to keep its hunger at bay. He knew nothing about these creatures; their natural habitat, what food was dangerous to them, nothing. Just the new addition to his journey had him deep in thought, familiarity coursing through every action he took to protect the innocent being from harm, whether that was stray arrows from skeletons or the annoyance that was a phantoms’ entire existence.
