i tried this out a while ago, testing the lasso fill esque tool in freeform. i dislike using ibispaint (due to the format to be more exact), which explains the app choice despite the advantages found in ibis.

furthermore i havent found a pencil brush in ibispaint that fulfills my requirements (sumn similar to sketchbook's pencil brush) so eh
