Taking a deep breath, the gambler calmed himself down and knocked on the door twice.

"Hey Pearce...? It's me, Lawrence...I know you probably don't want to see me a-and I don't blame you for it...I just want you to listen to me."

The man leaned his forehead on the door and let out a sigh, he stood there quiet thinking his words carefully.

"I know that what I did was terrible, I don't want forgiveness for that..."

"I acted cowardly and selfish that it even disgusts me,  I was scared of rejection...I just took that opportunity to do that not thinking of the consequences."

"I thought you would hate me for being so close and have the audacity of stealing a kiss. Hell, I thought you didn't like me much in the first place."

Lawrence held his head in his hands, noticing that he was rambling unnecessarily. He had so much left to say...but he wasn't even sure how to bring it up.

"Look, I know I hurt your feelings but that wasn't what I wanted...Don't forgive my actions but forgive me as a person...I want to return them, if you even still have them."

"...Give me time so I can be a better person."

Laying in bed, Pearce heard the knock before letting out a quiet growl. Lawrence, the audacity! He wanted to scratch him up so badly, but he stopped when he listened to the other.

An opportunity to kiss Pearce for money, not thinking of the consequences. It irritated Pearce as he turned away from the door, still listening. He didn't hate Lawrence, deep down he still didn't. But how could he forgive him as a person for being a liar?

His feelings wounded, they still did have some merit to them. Taking a deep breath, Pearce forced himself up, walking to the door. Promptly widening the door, the Shepherd grabbed the Gambler's wrist, dragging him inside, door snapping shut.

Despite the shorter man's protests, Pearce brought the two to the bed, laying the other down and snuggling him. With his arms wrapped around the Gambler, Pearce nuzzled into the man's hair.

"I'm... very upset with you... but I think I can do some forgiving if you'd just be honest with me... I'm not the best either... Terrible at words, becoming a mess, a crybaby no less..."

Moving a hand to cup Lawrence's cheek, Pearce huffed, staring the other down. He could tell the other had been crying, he almost felt bad for him. Almost.

"If you do that again, I won't hesitate to beat you up myself... Got it? And about those feelings..."

Leaning down, Pearce gently licked their lips, showing the Gambler he was still willing if he wanted to. Gently pulling away, Pearce huffed. "We'll work on being better together, okay? As friends or something more."

5 - do you sleep with a stuffed animal?

YES!! and i make my plushies my whole personality (cutely) <3 i have two squishmallows i sleep with and ones of a squid and the other is my melody, which i got recently ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪ i have one that's a duck dressed as a bee which means a lot to me because it's the oldest and a gift. i have another sanrio plushie i sleep with, pompompurin!! i have one of those squids you can flip to angry and happy LMAOO and lastly a pink and white plague doctor╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ wowow so many at least my bed is super cozy !!

6 - do you prefer drawing or writing?

drawing <3 it's one of my main hobbies and although i do write it takes a lot more motivation and ideas!! and i'm usually happier with the outcome of my art :] i get to share it with my friends and online which is fun (*´∇｀*) while my writing usually stays in my notes app LMAOO i've written a lot of adamil (idv) and kaemiu (back when i was into dr) if anyone's curious hehe.

20 - what/who do you miss?

online school because in person school is so tough to deal with right now :( i'm wishing they'd switch to remote learning any day LMAO </3 and when it comes to people i've been missing a lot of family i'm no longer close with since the pandemic :;(∩´﹏`∩);:

24 - when was the last time you cried? why?

iiiii think saturday (i'm a huge crybaby LMAOO) my family's dinner plans didn't work out at all after i hadn't eaten all day and i was like . so frustrated and hungry </3 on a more positive cry though LOL when i finished omori a few weeks ago the ending BROKE MY HEART SOOOO HARD !!! really had me sitting there at 2am crying during the animations that play towards the end-

Robbie flinched at the dabbing, but quickly realized what Rene was doing- and it made him sniffle a little as more emotions crashed over him, though he finally calmed down a bit besides the occasional jolt from the hiccups he’d given himself.

“.. I think… You’re very sweet, too.”

Though he finally gave a shaky giggle at the affection, his grip turning into more of a half-hug to the survivor’s arm.

“Thank you, mister Rene. I’m sorry for doing a mistake.”

And though he paused, Robbie finally glanced back down at the candy, before digging into the bag again and offering an amalgamation jellybeans.

“Which kind is your real favorite?”

Rene internally breathed a sigh of relief as Robbie calmed down. He gave the boy another small hug before giving him a bit more space, though, he didn’t pull his arm from Robbie’s grasp.

“I accept your apology, but it really is okay so long as you learn from your mistake. Mistakes are how we grow after all.” He assured him with a soft smile. When the jellybeans were offered to him, Rene gave a small laugh as he picked out a few.

“Merci. I am not fond of sweets, but I do like the red ones. Which are your favorite?”

Though Robbie was hiding in the survivor’s garden, he honestly.. Hadn’t expected to see anyone today. He’d remembered faintly that it was some holiday- a holiday for candy!- but couldn’t quite recall which, as it had been several years since he’d looked at a calendar. Not to mention, calendars didn’t really work in this place.

When he heard the Florist’s voice, he looked up from the small twig he was toying with, then gasped in excitement and scrambled to his feet after stowing the twig under his cape. Candy was always a cause for excitement, after all!

i am here omce again to spread the Joker loving agenda. but the fact that even tho the angle breaker (one of his unique items) was why he lost his leg but he still cherishes it is kinda cute... and very sad. i think he needs a lot of hugs. and the fact that he hates crybabies but wants to make people laugh is like kinda silly and also kinda cute when put together... the way his personality comes off from items and outfits descriptions makes me like... I just went to the attic to have a couch to crawl onto and bawl my eyes out. Could've just gone to my room but I know myself damn well and if I didn't have a bed on ground level to crawl onto idve just curled up on the floor and that'd just hurt my body even more and not made anything better either. Why did I flee from the living room in the first place? Firstofall I didn't flee, I waited till dinner was over like a sane adult. Did mean my parents caught me crying bc despite crying in the bathroom beforehand I was already crying again the minute I sat down basically. I usually have a better grip than that! Then again this is a special situation so it makes sense for me to be even more of a crybaby have even less of a grip on things than usual. Thankfully also means my parents think this is a special situation and I'm not always that bad. Even though in a fit of wanting to explain things while still half crying I kinda tried to explain the fork analogy thingy but I didn't get v far- no farther than well u see I'm the one that's crying bc my mum was like oh yeah I also cried more when I was ur age- men wouldn't understand- *sideeyed my dad*-... Bitch. As if I'm crying bc I'm a woman. I mean ok she knows I'm on my period maybe she thinks it's just that?? Bitch I also bawl my eyes out on the regular when I'm not on my period, but sure, currently losing an organ might have made it worse, yup, do agree with that. Butlike. Whatever. I'm always this l l close to loosing my shit while regular people might have like this l l much space left. My pain, my mental health, also the fact that I am in quite a few marginalized groups and like woke enough to sadly also constantly worry about shit like that. Also the fact that the planet is dying anyways and I Know That. So like, regularly already l l. Then today like 9h workday arguing with customers online basically and arguing (politely not-quite-arguing) with superiors who have 'ideas' that just fuck shit up worse for me. So that's ll. And then my sis comes home and my parents have the great idea to like kinda put her in quarantine even though none of us is in an at risk group.

--hh i love him, this isnt even just me being a dave kinnie or anything, hes fr been one of my fave homestuck characters since i started reading it in 8th grade. i keep finding new ways to relate to him as i grow as a person, little me connected to the self-loathing and being certain all your friends hate you, to desperately trying to help broken people who need to first help themselves, in high school i was drawn to him over the stress of not loving people the Right Way™ and feeling like who you are is something to be hidden and ashamed of (karkat said trans rights), now im so attached to him being unapologetically loud about what he thinks and not taking anyones bullshit anymore and just living his goddamn life happy with the person he loves and ugh GOD i love karkat vantas so much

--idk if its an unpopular opinion but most stuff i see for him that has more depth than just "he & dave smooch" (which i love too but sometimes u want Pizzazz) either have him as a terrible rage monster or a crybaby and its like,, pls. pls he can be angry and cry a lot and have that not be his whole character. its okay. also stuff where hes a complete dick for no reason??? i hate that?? hes Loud and Kinda Rude not a Total Douchebag theres a Difference

--i rly wish we couldve seen his land quest tbh, i feel like itdve changed a lot of fandom perceptions of him to see him puzzling thru it and taking action to do whatever he had to do? also i wanna see it personally sckfnc but kinda on the same note id love to have seen him in collide fighting w other ppl present, ik tz could only use leitmotifs w ppl bc shes op or w/e but idve loved to see some blood player shenanigans tbh
