40 Day Anime Challenge Day 4- Favorite song from an anime: "X.U" by SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Gemie from "Seraph of the End" (2015)

This was a hard question because my favorite song changes at least once a month, if not once a week! But this one is up there in my all-time favorites because 1) THE ANGST and 2) it's perfect for my Mika x Yuu ship UwU (might have something to do with the fact that it's literally written for them idk lol)

Synopsis: After a virus kills most of humanity, Yuichiro and Mikeala Hyakuya are abducted from their orphanage by vampires who keep them as livestock to feed their thirst for blood. When they try to escape, Yuu makes it out, but believes Mika to be dead. Yuu develops a fierce hatred of vampires and grows up to join an anti-vampire militia. But a mission will force him to confront his past and rethink his prejudice if he wants to protect those closest to him.

The girl lets go of Nobunaga's hand and proceeds to walk down the stairs with no issue, besides what a slight sway in her steps may otherwise suggest. "Do you know what your task is, Nobunaga-san?" She asks, adjusting her gloves and looking back at the Archer with a focused gaze, no challenge intended.

She leaves the specifications of her response vague - as to whether she'd be the one falling or pushing the other down the stairs. Her hand makes no effort to hold onto that of her master's as she takes it back.

There was really something she didn't like about this one. Maybe it was just that higher-than-thou attitude; but something else was nagging at her. Like an infernal worm crawling in her chest when she looked at those eyes.

Her eyes stay fixed on the other girl, unwavering as she looks back at her own. Her heavy boots clang against the stairs as she descends towards her.

"No. Please inform me, my master."

The response is sharp and conscience. She doesn't feel like chatting with this one.
