Xillia update no. mighty 9! A real loooong session, so I'm putting it under a cut:
I can't remember much about what we did at the beginning, like Fenmont and stuff, except that Wingul was uncharacteristically nice to Elize and then minutes later tried to have us arrested. Him and Gaius just flip flop like that.
My sister's current ships basically include whichever two characters are on the screen at the same time, but particularly Gaius/Muzet. Her: "They're a power couple."
Since Alvin was out of the party I started playing Rowen and he's quite fun! I especially like mashing the button for more fireballs and rolling around the rock. I just wish his arte tuning didn't make that high pitch noise :/
We defeated Muzet with his bell arte. "Live mĂĄs, bitch."
We finally defeated Ivar too and it seems like he will leave us alone for good. My sister still wishes we had killed him when we had the chance.
As soon as we got to the mountain behind Milla's shrine, the characters started warning about how slippery and dangerous it is. Her: "We're gonna have a cutscene of us falling aren't we."
After the HARD Presa/Agria fight, Alvin actually did rejoin the group. She thought he might just stay away or become a villain. Tales games don't usually permanently retire such a long-lasting party member, but to be fair the other Tales game we played was Zesty, which does.
We debated which character to have leading on the map but she wanted to admire Jude's butt, though you can't really see it with his costume. You can't see any of the character model's butts really. Me: "Except Presa." Her: "True, she has a nice butt. But maybe we shouldn't speak ill of the dead. Me: "We'll pour one out for Presa's fine ass" đâ
A lot of bleeding hearts in this group. Jude pitying Muzet's lack of purpose, Leia feeling bad about Agria's intentional death. I am trying to use my sister' dislike of good-hearted protagonists as a reason to play Berseria next đ
We finally reached Maxwell. Jude: "We've come a long way to ask you something." Sis: " 'Why are you such a dick?' "
He really looks like an evil Dumbledore. Also his name is not very godly or intimidating. I explained it's like a series staple easter egg (like Aifread) but yeah it's a kinda lame name
The way Jude starts pointing accusingly at Maxwell is EXACTLY like Ivar. They're rubbing off on each other!
Milla is back! And The Four work for her now. Their design are also not very godly, she noted. Sylph has glasses, why would a spirit need glasses.
Elize died right as we beat Maxwell, RIP her EXP
Maxwell is going to dispel the schism! Me: "We did it, we beat the game!" Her: "Really?" Me: "No :)"
I forgot Gaius really just shows up and tries to crown himself the next god. Sis: "Good for him."
As soon as the group woke up in Elympios: "Juuude! Make me something!!" lmao
We wondered how all of their meals keep fresh for so long. Me: "Maybe it's like astronaut food. It's just yakisoba-flavored dried food."
The East vs West theme is not subtle, this place is literally New York and all of the music is jazz. She kept noting how colorful everyone looks in comparison to the drab grays. The other themes aren't subtle either like developed vs undeveloped worlds, global warming destroying the planet, etc.
She pointed out that the Torbalan Highroad has Balan's name in it. Maybe the game developers thought "idk what to call this road it's just the one that goes To(r)balan. That's what we'll call it."
We found two separate monocles there. If we put them together we can have a pair of glasses.
Cramped holes remind Elize of her miserable life in the shack which she decides to bring up randomly. Like "Hey everyone, remember how I'm an orphan?"
I keep laughing at cutting off the character's level-up expressions. Rowen saying "Never stop--" and then Elize saying "I won't stop!" Like good I guess she's listening to him.
And Alvin remarking "It just keeps getting better" while Balan is in danger and the worlds are warring and Presa just died like Alvin what part of this is getting better for you. You shot Leia.
She's enjoying the story a lot, or at least finding it more memorable than Zestiria's. Tbh I find the actual story of both to be sorta forgettable but man do I love these characters â¤
We talked about Tales characters for a long while, especially Alvin. I appreciate how his background is actually more unique in the series, being a sort of refugee or an immigrant really. We discussed the recurring character archetypes like the good hearted protags and the suspicious sad bastards and the quirky genki girls while also noting what makes each individual character unique. Man I love Tales characters â¤â¤
We kept laughing though because of the lofi jazz music in Elympios and I kept imagining Alvin playing saxophone in the back and cackling
It's funny that Elize scared of the dark when she's the dark magic user. Sis: "You grew up in a shack, you should be used to this!"
Gaius actually considered Jude's approach and tried to use the Volt spyrite. Sis: "He used WWJD: What would Jude do?"
Fought Volt with Rowen's rock arte and we had TWO spheres rolling around. Me: "We're basically just playing marbles."
Everyone keeps crediting Jude for asking Balan questions about spyrixes. Like Jude didn't invent this technology (yet), he literally just asked how it worked and now they have a solution to the entire power crises. Yay! Good work, Jude!
We got a little tired by the next field area (that I don't remember the name of), so we'll pick up from there next time :)

hello icha!! i finally got around to finishing the stranger haha,, by which i mean i just watched it today. was veryyyy excited for it as i really like the poster design for this one. anyways. this event starting w/ the sort of portrait format or whatever / that narration is like. god. threw me right back to autumn troupe. I kind of love that the storytelling format itself is so distinct for autumn! the moment I realized it was omi I started getting teary⌠like oh man oh man⌠omiâŚ. And the connection with him taking photos! ahh!! now that I think about it⌠omi kind of seems a bit like early version tsumugi, huh? also I keep forgetting this man is a college student lol. suspension of disbelief I suppose. onto the play i think like. mankai should invest in a fainting courch for tsuzuru. i also went to watch the play and 1) im betting yuki had a hell of a time costume design wise like the vines on the body? such fun costuming wise and 2) the ethical implications of whatever this play has,,, fun fun. tsuzuru was clearly having some kind of thoughts. i love zeros design and am always up for a3 characters crossdressing bc 1) i think its fun and 2) the costume design. i also dearly wish this whole thing was animated bc I feel like itâd be o fun to see taichi act as zero. or at least I hope this event gets full voiced one day... moving on to the scene where omi adds soy sauce to the paella I know itâs just like haha homare funny so lets five him a lil bit but like everyone in autumn troupe making their comments on the paella and like homare just jumping in. homare autumn troupe besties. just thinking. also the way they just r like. no no no omi itâs fine if u made a mistake!! itâs ok! we like it (you) anyways <3 itâs got itâs own special taste. something something omiâs perfectly pleasant as he is now but even if he werenât on his a-game and was dealing with all of the biker gang stuff they would love him just as hard. another thing that got me was omi telling banri that heâll give him something sweet so juza will stop grinding his teeth in his sleep⌠guys⌠guys youâll give him cavitiesâŚ. mb omi is a college student after all lol.
anyways when i saw the actual costumes. appreciative of them, i like the lil circuit-esque detailing on banriâs outfit, and that sakyo and taichi (nine and zero) both share that like collar detail? its very symbolic and probably also literal but its a nice way to sort of signify their relation to each other visually! also sakyo just looks nice. seeing him without glasses is so great. whoever thought up the like two mole detail for him was doing gods work.
something that confused me was ryo mistaking juza for nachi for a split second? like. does juza⌠look similar to nachi? or was it just that ryo only heard juzas voice and made that mistake. if itâs appearance wise too. kumon nachi confirmed. Iâm joking lol bc I feel like I wouldâve heard at least something abt it in one of the like small conversation comments, plus that doesnt seem like itd fit summer troupes style and kumon is for sure the wrong age⌠but still.
i really like how for this event, the roles for taichi and omi were kinda reversed. and taichis just so like. idk. smiley. rly lifts ur spirits. its kind of nice how this event contrasts to that cg where taichi is crying on omi. I also think like. idk. considering the story of the stranger. wolf gives zero a sense of purpose and life and I think that zero helps wolf lose his apathy. itâs about âthe strangerâ and the ending makes him like⌠not a stranger, right? because heâs got a companion. in the same way, taichi brings omi out of his emotional isolation. the picture taking! also the stickers coming back⌠thats such a good setup! the found family of it all!!
when he was trying to work out zeros character as soon as taichi mentioned a sharp speaking style I KNEW it was Yuki⌠yuki would never be as honest as zero is though lol⌠to me i imagine sheâs got a sort of juza internal monologue feel? anyways. the taichi yuki dynamic intrigues me. havent yet decided how I feel abt it but when I do⌠yes. sorry that I make literally no sense. I think itâs very obvious that yuki is my fav chara kind of? Iâm just. hmmm it makes me think! Iâve been monologuing to myself abt the yuki and juza dynamic lately which, to my a3 knowledge so far, doesnât exist, but its ok bc Iâll make it exist! uhhh anyways this event was very good i liked the pacing. i think it didnt drag too hard and it really properly honed in on just omi and taichi, which was quite nice. they really did a lot for just an event!
time to listen to the event song,,, ok so. ah. i rly enjoyed just for myself it was very much to my taste so. out of curiousity i was like ok lemme look up the composer / producer AND IT WAS YUYOYUPPE....... that guy is like!!!! one of my FAV producers ever!!!!!! i know him from like. his vocaloid days and god leia is still one of my fav songs to this day...! this knowledge gives me so much joy omg!!! like wow!! wowwww!!! like i knew yuyoyuppe was out there doing other stuff (i know he worked on a lot of babymetal music which is cool) but like idk. to suddenly encounter it like this. heheh.... its so nice! made me soooo happy. going to relisten to leia now haha
WAIT ONE MORE THING. i was like "haha let me look at other songs i remember liking a lot" which. for me was rakuen oasis and don't cry. anyways. rakuen oasis is ALSO by yuyoyuppe???? oh my god!!! oh my god... sigh. feel like im in heaven.
OH HI FRIEND!! so good to see you with an a3 update!! :D
godd yeah The Stranger started so strongly and the idea to still incorporate portraits in his story was really something to make us cry!
And linking Omi and Tsumugi like this is pretty interesting :O <hat is your reasoning exactly? :O
For the fainting couch for Tsuzuru LMAO and i'm letting you know there's a webcomics that addresses it in Act 2 (hough there's no spoilers aside from the fact Chikage is here)
Im glad you liked the costume and the play!!! yeah i love the designs and it is always a blast to see them this into it, and yeaaah Tsuzuru has thoughts huh. It'll get voiced sooner than later hopefully and there we'll see more in details :3c but also that's what made the seiyuu live so fun bc they perform the songs in play cosplay and replay a bit of the play everytime and it's *chief kiss*
HOMARE AUTUMN TROUPE SOLIDARITY YES. LOVING IT.
And yeah the scene itself was so cute TwT they all want to reassure Omi and be there for him it's so sweet :( but yeah i love how you say it all, Omiimi TwT
and dLKFJDFLKJFDFD Giving Juza cavities is the price to pay for sleep i guess??
yeah agreed on the costume they all look so cool! and nice catch on how those three seem linked like that with their costumes, Yuki (and the designers) does such a good job! and god yeah for Sakyo.. yeah. He has sucha good design dLKJFDF
aND DLKFJD yeah no Juza is supposed to look like Nachi physically, but mostly his face? like i think Nachi was had green hair? we see a sprite of him in a future story, and yeah, everything is in the eyebrows. so Kumon should be safe? Omi mentions he sees a lot of Nachi in Juza, and while it is mostly due to their passions i think, the fact they're also rough looking guy with a heart of gold must play a part as well. but yeah, he does look like Nachi a bit.
and i love your deeper analysis of the event yeah!!
I feel like Taichi is really an emotional core of the troupe in the sense that is, he tends to catch on what others are feelings easily. And he uses it in the early chapters to ease off the tensions and stuff, but he was being held back by knowing he was deceiving them. So now that he's more free, he can be more of himself. but yeah i also love the contrast with how Omi was the one to help Taichi through his breakdown and guilt, and now it's the other way around, it's Taichi helping him through it. and the parallelism between the play and their dynamic is spot on imo! well said!!
and god yeah the sticker things made me cry sO HARD, and the pictures! and everything!! sobs it's such a sweet found family i'm going to cry :(
And! i love what you say about Yuki, Taichi and Juza on this one. I love that Taichi keeps bringing it back to "that childhood friend" and it's always like. so obvious who it is for us rip. But it can make you wonder if Yuki was more honest as a kiddo when Taichi knew him, though now he's clearly not. I love the mention of how Zero is more like Juza's internal speech (which, if anything is another argument about why you should let Juza wear a dress, cOWARD)
but also your mention of the Yuki and Juza thing, while i can't think of them having a dynamic per se yet, but i actually wrote a post during my reread about how i was baffled at the fact they treated Muku the same way?? like both of them tried to push Muku away because they were scared of how people would react if they say pure, sweet Muku was associated to them. And i find it fascinating because i guess those two are pretty aware of how the world see them, and it used to stop them from fully allowing them to be themselves.
I also find it relevant with the fact Yuki says in his personal song that while all of this way people judge him weight on him, he rather be himself, and "I want to love myself". Meanwhile we have Juza who's also aware of the way people judge him and it weight on him, and he wants to change himself from this person he hates, this self loathing - and in a way, he can grow in a way to be "someone" he may not hate, even on stage. I feel like those two have quite a bit in common in this way of being rejected by their peers in some sort of way.
I really want them to share some stuff at some point because there's really a groundwork on it all :(
But i'm really glad you liked that event!! agreed on the pacing and i do love what it brings to the characters! it really fleshes them out and have them move forward a little and it's pretty sweet.
AND OMG THAT'S SO COOL FOR THE SONG!! i'm so glad you liked it, but that's incredible it turned out to be from one of your fav producer!!! ahah sometimes life is like that where you end up finding the stuff you loved back into new stuff! and the fact Rakuen Oasis was from him as well... that's so cool!!! just, so so cool!
im pretty sure he has more songs going forward so i hope you'll enjoy the ride even more!!
thank you once again for sharing your thoughts about a3 :3c it always makes me so happy to see them!!!
Thank youu <3 have a good day :3c

Happy Birthday to Me Pt. 2
I texted Lan Zhan to let him know when I was getting close. I wasnât rushing for once. Instead I enjoyed the feel of the wind through my hair as I took my time skating over. I thought about what Wang LingJiao had said. Mulled it over. I wasnât sure if I agreed but⌠well⌠I mean it wasnât nothing. Â
I decided⌠maybe I would shoot my shot. See how today went. I mean he wanted to be with me for my birthday instead of celebrating Halloween with whoever it was on the other side of that phone. And she was right. If I wasnât willing to fight for it it wasnât going to happen. Maybe I shouldnât go into a fight already thinking I lost.Â
No it wasnât even that.
Iâd been going into a fight while telling myself there was no fight.Â
There is no war in Ba Sing Se.
I fought with myself the whole way over until suddenly I was at his door. I stood there longer than Iâd like to admit. But I couldnât linger too long. Iâd already told him I was on my way. If I didnât show up heâd look for me and then heâd just see me standing in front of his door like an idiot.Â
So I dug in my pocket for the key he gave me since heâd told me to let myself in. Still couldnât bring myself to just barge in though. I compromised with myself by knocking before I unlocked the door and went in.Â
And there he was.Â
Lan Zhan.Â
Oh Lan Zhan.
Just.. something about opening a door and just⌠seeing him there. It always gets me.Â
He was sitting at his guqin when I came in. Had he been playing? I hadnât heard anything. But then my heart had been pounding in my ears so hard that I suppose that shouldnât be surprising.Â
Still seeing him there. I felt my nerves slip down to tingle in my fingertips instead of my chest. I couldn't help but grin when I saw him. I never can.Â
And I felt my choice become more solid. Like a firm resolution clicking into place somewhere in my ribs. I was going to try.Â
I managed to not trip over my own feet as I rushed over to hug him. The tingles in my fingers vanished as he hugged me back and an entirely different kind of tingling filled my body instead.Â
A pleasant one. A gentle one. Almost like being tipsy but better.Â
Drunk on Lan Zhan.Â
âLan Zhan! You smell so goooood!â I said because I didnât think I could disguise the fact that the first thing I did after throwing myself on him was take a big inhale. Figured I might as well own it. Maybe make it less creepy? Hopefully? IDKÂ
I thanked him for having me over. I donât think Iâd ever had a birthday that was just my birthday and not tacked on to Halloween, but true to what heâd said before I didnât see so much as a bat decoration in the apartment.Â
I wonder⌠does he even celebrate Halloween? Iâm not sure I can picture him dressing up. Mmm. Next year Iâll have to try to get him in a costume haha.Â
(Okay I should say that I do LOVE Halloween. Like it is legit my favorite holiday. Just having a birthday tied to any holiday just kinda sucks. Yâknow? Normally itâs fine because it just becomes a Halloween themed birthday, but every once in a while itâs nice to have just⌠a birthday, you know?)
âWe have to go downstairs,â he said, still holding me. Then he let go to take my hand instead to start pulling me in the direction of the cafe.Â
My mind immediately went into hyperdrive with possibilities. What was downstairs? Did it have to do with the bunnies? Maybe he found a way to trick them into liking me?!? Or maybe a picnic in the quiet?Â
I prattled on about some of these ideas out loud but he didnât really answer and all of a sudden we were at the door. He stepped behind me and gave me a little push, saying I should go first. He looked excited. Just what did he have in there waiting? A new car??? He knows I canât drive right? And how on earth would he fit it in the cafe anyway??
I started to say something to tease him, when all of a sudden.
âSURPRISE!!!!!!!!â
I nearly died! Just. Everyone. EVERYONE was there! They poured out of booths and from behind the counter and I swear Wen Ning dropped from the ceiling!Â
Shijie and the Peacock were there next to Jiang Cheng. And Wen Ning with Wen Qing. And Nie Huaisang with his brother and Lan Xichen (those two were standing a bit closer to each other than was strictly necessary but thatâs none of my business). And Gamby and Lan Yi were there! And MianMian with Qin Su! And the kids! A-Lian was nestled happily in the loving arms of her mother. though A-Ling seemed to be squirming enough to give the peacock a little trouble,r and A-Yuan was bouncing around with excitement. The two boys were chanting âsurpriseâ together as they bounced and squirmed. (Theyâd missed the initial cheer and seemed to be making up for it with repeated gusto!)
I⌠Oof. I must have been staring like a derp because the next thing I knew, Jiang Cheng had pulled me into his rare (but honestly very nice) hugs and was calling me an idiot.Â
To which I naturally countered by saying HE was the idiot and smacking him a bit before I returned the hug. (You never turn down a Jiang Cheng hug. Seriously. He may be prickly but damn he is the HUG MASTER!)
And then everyone was crowded around me. Shijie pulled me into a hug next and Nie Huaisang was waving a tissue in my face like a little turd before he stole my next hug.Â
âI told you he wasnât seeing anyone. This is what he was doing on his phone,â he said to me quietly. âHe was talking to all of us to set this up for you, you dingbat.â
I felt my insides turn to liquid with some strange emotion I canât quite describe. It was a bit like relief and it was definitely a release of tension. But
I donât know. It was complicated.Â
Because that meant Iâd been pushing him away for no reason at all. Heâd been trying to set all this up for me and I was all but giving him the cold shoulder!
Dear god Iâm an idiot.Â
And yes. Yes I know you all TOLD me. Okay I know! But please try to keep my side of things in mind. I⌠Itâs complicated.Â
But even though I kept pulling away he still⌠He still. ..
But now. Now I could fix it. I grinned at him and thanked him softly while doing my best to not need the tissue, grateful that he didnât keep ribbing me about it with âI told you soâs and calling me an idiot. Â
It became much harder when I looked back at Lan Zhan. Iâd have to apologize to him. And thank him. I decided I would later that night. Next time we had a moment alone.Â

Ranking the GPF programs - Junior Pairs
Thought it was a bit too late to be doing that... And now Worlds are cancelled, and my country has entered full confinement mode, so letâs do this.Â
SP
6 - Yulia Artemieva/Mikhail Nazarychev - Senza Parole, by Il Divo
One thing I hate is that trend to take iconic pieces of classical music and slap lyrics in italian instead of the melody. Hereâs itâs Moonlight Sonata. To me it feels like a cheap way to do deep emotionsTM. So yeah. I hate the music here. The choreo is... unremarkable.Â
Costumes : 5/10 boring grey.Â
5 - Ksenia Akhantieva/Valerii Kolesov - Interstellar OST
Their last seasonâs SP. The music is nice, there are some nice touches here and there and a build-up to the step sequence... And since they are quite musical, the step sequence is always quite nice... Decent.
Costumes : 6/10. I like Kseniaâs new dress, with the silver top. Dislike Valeriiâs silver suspenders.Â
4 - Diana Mukhametzianova/Ilya Mironov - Czardas, by Mario Monti
I kinda miss their crazy FS to the Crack of Doom. Music was.. WTF to put it gently, and a bit overbearing, but that was original.Â
But I like Czardas. Has been done a lot, but the music is great, and the choreo here is very nice. Mostly my problems here lie with the execution. M/M are still rough around the edges, and their skating skills are not the best, tho they have improved over the course of the season. They struggle with the steps, and tend to be a little wooden sometimes.Â
Costume: 10/10. First of all, they get bonus point because pants for the lady. Then, I just love the details, Ilyaâs vest and red belt. The embroideries on both their shirt. The golden seams on Ilyaâs pants. Dianaâs red and green ribbons in her dress. Everything has been thought through.Â
3 - Annicka Hocke/Robert Kunkel - Wasting My Young Years
Here I donât really like the music, but I like the choreo, and especially the lift. Nice execution, and Annicka always sells the mood of the program well. Â
Costumes : 6/10 I like Annickaâs purple and pink dress, over the white shorts. Robert is just a block of black...
2 - Apollinaria Panfilova/Dmitry Rylov - The Matrix OST
I appreciate P/R going out of their comfort zone and testing different styles of skating. This is commendable, and I think they pulled off this challenge quite well. It took some time. At the beginning of the season they tried too hard to be intense, and ended up as rushed and frantic. Their performance at Junior Worlds in that aspect was much much better. I have a problem with the step sequence tho. Again, it looks to busy and frantic. And itâs mostly because the steps are not choreographed on the music.Â
Costume : 9/10. Polya looks great in that pantsuit, but it doesnât sit so well on Dima.Â
1 - Alina Pepeleva/Roman Pleshkov - L.O.V.E., by Michael BublĂŠ.Â
A small gem. Itâs not groundbreaking or anything, but itâs fun and cute. Great choreo with nice transitions here and there (that entry into the death spiral is still one my favorite of the season)
Costumes : 7/10 a bit basic but well done, and I love Alinaâs red dress.Â
FS
Mostly a great selection. I canât say I hate, or even dislike any of them.
6 - Diana Mukhametzianova/Ilya Mironov - Chess
Okay. Donât enjoy the music, and the choreo is unremarkable, but you know, itâs all right.Â
Costumes : 6/10 a bit old-fashioned? idk, the chess pattern is cute, but I donât like the cut.Â
5 - Ksenia Akhantieva/Valerii Kolesov - Shine On You Crazy Diamond, by Pink Floyd
Again, one of those programs designed by your coaches to make you grow as an artist. Some nice touches here and there. Ksenia and Valerii definitely lack the polish and fluidity of movements to sell it, but itâs a step in the right direction.Â
Costumes : 5/10 actually the only thing I remember about the costumes, is that thereâs pants for the lady (good)... and thatâs it?Â
4 - Alina Pepeleva/Roman Pleshkov - RomĂŠo et Juliette, de la haine Ă lâamour
One thing I like more than trashy french musicals is Russian skatersâ love for said musicals. Les Rois du Monde is an absolute BOP, and having that music be the climax and triumphant finish of P/Pâs FS is everything I never knew I needed. Lots of things I like here: the death spiral, the choreo sequence, the lifts, the combined spin... Yes, itâs nice.Â
Costumes : 8/10 Honestly I donât really like that type of costumes, and I did not like them on Volosozhar/Trankov either. Also the story behind the costumes : obviously thatâs an hommage to V/T but, thatâs mostly an hommage to the costume designer who passed away last summer. So to honor her memory, and because they had a Romeo and Juliet FS, the coaching team decided Alina and Roman should wear those costumes. Alinaâs dress is Tanyaâs. Romanâs costume is basically a new costume all-together because heâs taller than Maxim so alterations were made for the costume to fit.Â
3 - Annicka Hocke/Robert Kunkel - Do You Love Me/Cry To Me
Unpretentious fun jukebox program, that allows Annicka to shine, and show her bubbly personality. What else could you ask for?
Costumes : 9/10 Simple, but I love that summer party vibe.Â
2 - Yulia Artemieva/Mikhail Nazarychev - Queen medley
One of my favorite programs of the season actually. I actually like the music cuts here, and I like the energy of that FS, and how into it Yulia and Mikhail get. Also the ending pose is cool.Â
Costumes : 6/10 I like the idea. Yuliaâs costume is cool... Mikhailâs one is weirdly cut, with a big piece of illusion fabric on the belly... Why??
1 - Apollinariia Panfilova/Dmitry Rylov - No One Ever Called Me That
That program is just a never-ending flow of gorgeous elements. Itâs one of those programs that I canât remember anything about after I finish watching it... Sounds like a failure, and it should be... Except here it works. It works because Panfilova/Rylovâs skating is so beautiful I could just watch it all day. So I donât care if I keep forgetting what that FS looks like, because every time I watch it I experience it anew.Â
Costumes : 9/10. Iâm not fan of white on ice, because I think it tends to melt with the surroundings, but I love the shape of Polyaâs dress, I love the neckline and the details.Â

..... Would you be pissed if I asked you to answer every single one?
Nope! Here we go! This is gonna be a long post, so asks are under the read more
1. Whoâs your favourite character from UT?
Mettaton! Iâve cosplayed him like...3 times (and won like $50 from a costume contest eyyy). Undyne is a close second.
2. Whoâs your least favourite character from UT?
Uhhhhh.....doIhaveone if I had to pick I guess Jerry??
3. Your opinion about UT fandon:

4. Whatâs your favourite quote?
âDespite everything, itâs still you.â Iâve cross stitched it and it was on my college graduation cap.
5. Whatâs your favourite soundtrack?
I really love how Hopes and Dreams ties a few of the other themes into it

Long story short, I was having an anxiety problem and I needed a distraction. I started playing and fell in love. Since then itâs been my go to for panic attack prevention.
8. Favourite battle?
The Mettaton battle is lots of fun. I do enjoy fighting Sans, though...Iâm actually better at fighting him than Undyne the Undying

Cooking with Undyne
10. Your first letter to Mettaton was:
Donât remember; think I mentioned legs
11. Your reaction when you saw Omega Flowey for the first time:

Probably a froggit
18. Did you do sth in game you regret?
naahhh. Itâs just a game.
19. Which ending was your first?Â
TECHNICALLY it was the hard mode end at the end of the ruins--I knew Friskâs name from tumblr and named the fallen child that first. I then proceeded to grind since it was hard to survive. Then I reset and got the no-kill neautral ending before the pacifist end.
20. Your favourite land in UT and why: (Snowdin, Waterfall or Hotland)
Waterfall is so pretty
21. Your favourite place in UT and why: (Undyneâs house for example)

Post-pacifist Alphys, with Mettaâs endorsement, goes on to work more on robotics, specializing in prosthetic limbs
24. Butterscouch or cinnamon pie?
why not both?
25. Your opinion/headcanon about six human souls:
Patience lived with Toriel for at least a few months. The last of them fell a long time before Frisk did--long enough that most monsters Frisk encounters hadnât been born/were very young when 6 fell, since many monsters donât recognize Frisk as human.
26. With who would you go on a date?
Platonic date with Papyrus
27. Marry, fuck, kiss and kill:
Marry Undyne, fuck Mettaton, kiss Alphys......do I have to kill someone??
28. Do you wanna have a bad time?
bring it fucker
29. Your favourite UT au:
Underswap, but like...where they still retain their personalities in their new positions if you get me. e.g. Scientist Undyne isnât a nervous wreck (meaning sheâs not just Alphys) and takes an...explosive position to being a scientist
30. Your least favourite UT au:
Ehhh.....maybe Underlust? Itâs kinda just over-sexualized for the sake of sexualization ¯\_(ă)_/ÂŻ

Nah.
32. Describe or draw your undersona:
Donât have one

Spaghetâs my favorite food

I think IF heâs related heâs probably a father figure
38. Your opinion about bad puns:
I was the bane of my high school band for puns. love em
39. Do you draw fanarts from UT? If yes, then what do you like the most to draw?
If youâre reading this you probably already know I do (but I work 6 days a week so I havenât drawn in a long time....). I like drawing Undyne a lot
40. Which of human souls fits you the most?
kindness
41. What would be the first thing you would to show to Sans, Papyrus or the rest of characters in human world? Why?
maybe a wide open park
42. Which song reminds you of UT or one of the UT characters? Why?
I thought Big Freeze by Muse fit UT enough to do a whole video for it
43. Your opinion on underloid:
Pretty cool! I have a whole playlist of it on soundcloud
44. Do you forgive Asgore for what heâs done?
yeah
45. Did you pay for Temâs college?
heck ye
46. Have you seen any youtube letsplay of UT?

not really, beyond Underloid
48. What are your favourite theories?
None come to mine rn
49. Who is your favourite enemy? (Not including boss monsters)
Shyren
50. Do you have any headcanons about Charaâs past? (Why they hate humanity, why did they fell to the underground etc)

Lesser Dog. him long

Sans
56. Your OTP(s):
I actually like Mettalphys a lot. And Alphyne. And Mettalphyne...

Undyne and Papyrus

I like the bridge puzzle where you go to the sign and it tells you that you failed

Review Roundup - Week 1 January 2018
Hello babies!! Welcome to your debut Review Roundup for Week 1 of January 2018!!! I'm really excited to launch this series, because while I do love doing reviews, sometimes the only thing I can say about a song is "I like it, it was good". I also wanted a place I could spotlight releases from less popular acts (or even less conspicuous releases, sometimes) who don't exactly have 2309342 million fandom pages. This is a great way to combine that, I guess.
Before we begin, some ~rules~
For a song to eligible, it has to have an official video. Even if it's basically some shit an intern made in Final Cut Pro in five seconds, before uploading it. I just need to know that it's an ~official~ release.
No OSTs!! 90% of them are dry ass ballads, and I do not have the time, sis!! No OSTs!! /Edna Mode voice
And on that note, I might choose to skip a certain release, because I have nothing to say about it. Or nothing nice that isn't constructive criticism.
Yes, each video has a Ratingâ˘. Do not get hung up on said Rating, cause it's basically meaningless; it's just an arbitrary number based on how much I liked the particle song, mixed with how well I thought the song was written.
Just like with my Feature Spotlights, the blurbs here are just my opinion, sis. Please do not get hung up on what some gay bitch on the Internet has to say about your fave. I'm hella arrogant, but my words are not of God.
So now that we got that out of the way (Even though I'm 90% sure some bitch is gonna try my ass), our list begins with...
youtube
Grown Up (Soyou)
Grown Up is pretty standard fare for a Starship ballad. The company has always submerged themselves in RnB and Gospel sensibilities, and it shows here. Miss Soyou takes us to church with Grown Up. A very nice song which I appreciate, but will probably not listen to much, unless I'm in a Ballad Bitch⢠mood.
Rating - 3.5/5
TRCNG - Wolf Baby
"Ooh bitch... You mighta just did something there"
That was my first reaction to Wolf Baby, fam. I was ready and willing to write the song off, because the teaser did not show it off in the best light (it sounded like a demo of Hyosung's Into You, according to a friend) and the visual was more of the boys showing off their dance skill. Which is never a bad thing... Except when it's literally the same shit we've seen 20 million times from similar boy bands. But Wolf Baby delivers in full. Unlike the God awful Spectrum which takes after B.A.P in the worst of ways, Wolf Baby sounds and feels more like a Secret song (which sounds a lot better than you think it would). Wolf Baby shows that these boys have personality that can translate to the music, and Lord knows we need more of that in K-pop boy bands. I'm so tired of being charmed by these boys in variety, but utterly bored by their music.
Rating - 4/5
Think about (Seo Ji An featuring KLANG)
Lissen... Whoever wrote this song needs to give me a refund. That intro had me thinking this was gonna a bombastic radio ballad. Like, they were about to hit me with that Ryan Tedder throwback shit. But instead, all I got was soft falsetto and a limp piano line.
Talk about a boner killer, sis.
But once I got over myself (and the song started to pick up), I realized that it was actually pretty nice. Nothing I'd put into heavy rotation, but this would be good shuffle bait.
(Sidenote - if anyone can find me anything on the female vocalist, KLANG, I will give you a hug and a cookie, because I really liked her voice)
Rating - 3/5
XOXO (Soyeon of LABOUM x Park Jae Jung)
We're getting a jump start on the Springtime love duets, I see. I can't say I'm entirely mad, tho. XOXO, like Seo Ji An's Think about, falls within a category of songs I like to call shuffle bait. They're not terrible songs, but they're also not ones I feel obligated to put on heavy rotation. They're good for those days when you don't know what you wanna listen to or need some soft background sounds, so you put your music on shuffle. Not a category one should aspire to be in, but not one to be mad at for falling into, either.
I'm very happy that Global H made this a duet, cause Soyeon's overly bright tone could have tired out the ears very easily if she had to sing this by herself. And not only that, but Park Jae Jung provides a nice foil to Soyeon's voice with his smooth tone. All in all, a very nice song.
Rating - 3.5/5
Honey Tea (OOHYO)
Miss OOHYO is givin us a little Bassa Nova in her Honey Tea, you guise!!
Honey Tea is another shuffle bait song that almost makes it in the Heavy Rotation camp with it's interesting choice of instrumental interludes; but alas, she doesn't quite make the cut. There's something about the production here that doesn't quite mesh right; the song elements don't meld into one another like they should, especially with such ~agreeable~ (for lack of a better word) elements as these. This song is really nice for what it is (the melancholic atmosphere nice for those days when you just wanna brood like an angsty teenager), but I needed just a little bit more.
Rating - 2.5/5
Like Paradise (Kriesha Chu)
Something tells me that Future Bass is going to be everywhere in Kpop this year like Tropical House was last year, and I'm not quite sure how I feel about that. On one hand, you have Svt's Don't Wanna Cry and LONG:D x Kim Doyeon's All Night that are masterfully made songs. But then you have BTS's Best of Me and Kriesha Chu's Like Paradise, both of which are so fucking beige it makes me wanna slam my face into a wall. And it's really sad because, unlike Best of Me, Like Paradise starts out with a great verse. But then the prechorus goes right into generic territory with a chorus that's so anybody, it's almost frightening.
Kriesha Chu exploded onto the scene with a familiar formula in Trouble, but she did enough to make it her bitch, so idk what happened here. A friend mentioned that she feels as though she's heard this melody fifteen times, and I wouldn't be surprised if she has. This song isn't bad, but it don't got no soul. Which is a shame, because Miss Kriesha Chu has plenty to go around.
Rating - 2/5
Blah (Planetarium Case #1)
Now this is a song that took me by surprise. I was not expecting that Tropical style beat to kick in when the verse started, but I mean... Y'all know how I am with anything and everything Tropical inspired. And then they had the nerve to combine that heaux with RnB style instrumation?!?!!
Bitch...
I wanna be mad at how much I like this song. I really do. I wanna care about how the vocalist's voice is a touch too bright and whiny for that kind of vocal processing (it's faint, but it's there). I wanna feel some type of way about how that kind of vocal processing isn't really suited to this type of song. I would like to have some kind of critique here, but everything just slots together in a way that I can ignore the little things I don't care for.
Sis, idk how these underground labels know me well enough to make such targeted attacks against me like this, but I'm not mad. In fact, I'm very okay with that if I get to walk away with songs like Blah. Can we get more of this, instead of Future Bass or whatever other kooky trends are gonna rule K-pop this year?!?!!
Rating - 4/5
Foresight Dream (Younha)
Hello, Miss Younha!! It's nice to see you giving us something other than classical ballads like some kind of Baek JiYoung knockoff.
...was that mean?!?!!? Okay yeah, that was mean. Oh whatever, it isn't like other people weren't thinking it.
Copious amounts of shade aside, I'm been very here for what Younha has been doing, musically, since Get It. She's swapped out the ballads for a more RnB/Pop sound that's very in line with what the K-RnB World has been doing lately, and I couldn't be happier. Foresight Dream is a dreamy piano driven song that's a bit too downtempo in groove to qualify as an Acoustic Coffee Shop RnB Midtempo, but still has enough drive to feel like it's actually going somewhere. And Younha's voice sounds amazing. She's got a voice very similar to Alice from HV's, but Younha has more depth to her tone. All in all, a very magical experience.
One critique I have (and it's not even of the music) is that I'd have liked if Younha had released Foresight Dream before the GroovyRoom produced Parade. With the way Parade followed the ph-1 assisted Hello, I had assumed that she was done releasing songs. But with Foresight Dream coming after those two, it kind feels like it dampens her momentum. Idk, I'm just being a picky bitch.
Rating - 4/5
wewantourmoneyback (Giriboy)
*sigh*
This nigga talmbout how he want his money back, but I want my fucking time back from listening to this hot mess.
Okay, let me roll back the shade for a second. This song really isn't that bad. I've heard F A R worse from the likes Jay Park, Zico, and Dok2. But dude, this is a touch too fucking generic for a winter release. You couldn't have saved this for summer?!?!? When niggas is actually trynna shake they ass to generic trap beats?!?!
To be honestly, I'm tired of hearing these kinds of songs in K-HipHop. Especially from dudes who have tones like Giriboy. Their voices are whiny as fuck all, and these kinds of beats usually have a lot of higher tones in the mix (for those who are too bougie to listen to trap, producers typically use high, tinny synths as the main instrument in trap beats), so it's just a headache in the making. It's already hard enough to make a trap song without it sounding too repetitive, but these fools have truly tired me out with this genre. I can't even think of something to say about this song, cause it's just so generic.
Rating - 1/5
Paint Me (Mamamoo)
I'm sorry... MamaWHOMST?!?!?!!
Jokes aside, I'm not quite sure how I feel about this song. Mamamoo is a group that I once loved, but all that went sour when they decided to do blackface in concert (and then post a BTS video of getting into costume for said stage a week after posting an apology). And if I'm being honest here, their only good songs are You're The Best and Piano Man. I stanned for their other tracks for the culture; I liked what they did with the songs live. I didn't really listen to them, but tis the life of a K-Pop stan.
In retrospect, it's quite interesting how Mamawhomst Mamamoo haven't promoted a big power ballad like Paint Me before. The instrumentation is basic as all fuck, but it allows emphasis to be put on their vocals. Which are half the reason Mamawhomst Mamamoo survived Nugudom, in the first place. But as great as their voices are in this song, it just doesn't go anywhere. It throws you from one extreme to the other, and then ends. It's hella polarizing, and not something I really wanna put myself through with repeated listens.
Rating - 2.5/5
A Day I Want To Love (HEYDAY featuring Lim Eun Young)
A Day I Want To Love is a very typical classical ballad, and while that usually has me running for the hills, I decided to give it a chance. And I mean, this isn't a song that I'd put into Heavy Rotation, but it'd fit in very nicely with all the songs I download to use as shuffle bait. I'd also quite like to hear this sung live. Idk, I just feel like it'd come off better that way.
Rating - 3/5
OGZ (Jo Woochan x Park Hyunjin x Achillo)
I don't understand this song.
That's not to say that it's bad. The beat reminds me of wewantourmoneyback, but GroovyRoom decided to make a more interesting remix of it. And the boys all hand in amazing verses. But idk, yo. This song just feels weird as all fuck.
Rating - 4/5
Missing You (VOISPER)
How fitting that this is the song that closes out the main list week. Missing You is another lowtempo shuffle bait track (the mood for this week, apparently), but this time around, we get some horns in the mix. Which I greatly appreciate, because without them, this song would have been extremely boring. VOISPER have nice voices, but their technique is kind of sloppy. And I don't usually sweat shit like that, but it's really noticeable here.
Rating - 3/5
The Fabulous Five
So... You've made it to the end of the post (thank you, btw), and are now wondering what in the actual fuck a Fabulous Five are. Well, it's simply a fancy title (because your bitch is hella dramatic) for my favorite songs of the week. In fact, if you payed any mind to the (badly made) gifs at the top of the post, you'd notice they're from the following videos. Anyway, there's no real metric for what goes here, just songs that I stan a lot.
5. Lower (f(Amber+Luna))
youtube
MY WIG!!
MY QUEENS!!
M Y W I G!!
Lower is God tier, sis. I've read a few people's reviews of the song, and the one thread of commonality between them all is that Lower is generic and not worthy of the f(x) brand. And while I'm not gonna sit here and act like Lower isn't something I'd expect to hear at a European gay club (or any gay club for that matter), I really like what Amber and Luna did with this song.
I also think that Lower should be considered a performance piece above all. I view EXO's Monster this way - I don't care for the song by itself, but I'm hype as fuck when there's an accompanying visual. Amber and Luna could have made this beat their bitch (Luna certainly has the vocal chops for it, and Amber could have done ha thing with a lil rappy rap), but the main focus of the song is the breakdown. And they dance for their fucking lives to said breakdown.
I can't tell you if I'd have liked this song so much from another duo in K-Pop or if I'd have liked it if it didn't come with a video, but the reality is that like it.
Me Likey Likey a lot!!
I'm really hoping that SM sees how well of a unit these two make, and decides to debut them, officially. Cause God only knows we aren't getting any new material from f(x) anytime soon. Victoria is too busy livin ha best life in China, and Krystal is too busy looking fed up for no reason with Jessica, whilst people throw money at BLANC & ECLARE.
Rating - 3/5
4. Hot Potato (N.FLYING)
youtube
Before I start in on my review of this song, I just wanna ask what the fuck is up with idol bands being filled with beautiful ass humans?!?! Like?!?!?! Anytime I watch anything with Day6, I can't help but wanna cry at how hot they are. And watching N.FLYING's Music Core comeback stages, I got the same feeling. I could barely pay attention to the songs. Am I really just that thirsty?!?!?
Nobody fucking answer that, I know I'm thirsty heaux. I don't need you shady bitches dragging me for it.
Existential crisis aside, Hot Potato is a banger. I'm really hoping 2018 is the year idol bands start thriving, because I need more songs like these in my life. The verses are pure octane fun, while the choruses are power pop crack. I dare one of you to tell me you wouldn't sing along to that chorus if you knew Korean. I fuckin D A R E you!! And whoever's idea it was to add Yoo Hweseung from Produce 101, I wanna kiss you silly. His chemistry with Lee Seunghyub is ridiculous!! And in addition to that, an added vocalist allows them added flexibility with with N.Flying's rap/sing vocal style. I'm just so happy with this song, especially with how little love I had for The Real. It's great, sis.
Rating - 5/5
3. Her (Drug Restaurant)
youtube
Raise your hand if you had no idea that Jung Joon Young's band changed their name to Drug Resturaunt!?!?!?
...
Oh that was just me, not paying attention to anything?!?! Okay...
The first time I heard Her, I was immediately mesmerized by that opening chord progression. Some part of my musically trained brain knows how overused that progression is, but the rest of me is too busy blissing out to it to care (to be fair, most chord progressions in popular music are overused, because there's only so many that actually sound good to our ears). Her is no one trick pony, tho; she may come back to the oddly dissonant and melancholic texture of the intro now and again, but she always makes sure to give you something new with it.
The rest of the song is pretty great, too. Jung Joon Young has a very smooth texture to his baritone, very similar to BTS's Kim Taehyung (and if y'all know anything about my gay ass, y'all know I'm a H E A U X for baritones), and it's a great contrast to the grit of the instrumental.
Her is a very nice intro (err... reintrduction) to a great band. I keep telling myself I'll get back into rock like I was in middle school (the only good thing about being a weeb is J-rock and VISUAL KEI, I will fight you if you say otherwise), and it looks like God decided to help a girl out.
Rating - 4.5/5
2. Twenty Something (Alice featuring Yooyoung of HELLOVENUS)
youtube
Hello?!?!? Fantagio?!?!?! Starship Entertainment called; they want their Acoustic Coffee Shop RnB Midtempo back.
Yes, I realize I'm not that funny, but it's not gonna stop me from cracking jokes
So... If you don't know what an Acoustic Coffee Shop RnB Midtempo is, it's basically the RnB version of an acoustic midtempo ballad (hence the acoustic coffee shop bit). They're usually not acoustic at all, but they still have the same feeling as an acoustic ballad, if that makes sense.
And can I make a bold statement here?!?!!? Fantagio just declared a turf war against Starship with this song. Yes babies, it's that fucking good. Starship is usually my go to for Acoustic Coffee Shop RnB Midtempos, but it looks like Fantagio wants to throw their hat in the ring for consideration.
Alice has the right amount of grit to her voice to really hook you in, but a decent amount of brightness to help uplift the track. And Yooyoung's rap is just... Oh my God, it's so good!! I wanted it to be longer, sis. A++ content!!! She provides a nice texture change that makes Alice's voice pop when she takes over the track again. And the instrumentation just makes my brain happy tingle. God, I'm just so in love with this song!!
My only complaint is about that flat ass, limp ass, needs to be put out of it's misery ass high shriek Alice does over the final chorus. Guys, I am so tired of my ears being accosted by these singers trying to belt. Most of K-Pop's vocalists are sopranos with bright ass tones and absolutely no power behind their voices. This obsession with high belted notes at the end of songs is just so weird, and if y'all are gonna continue to do it, I need y'all to integrate that shit into the song better. Don't just have a vocalist do their best "OH MY GOD, THEY'RE TRYING TO KILL ME" shriek. It's so irritating!!
And apparently, this is the first of a monthly song single campaign Fantagio is doing for 2018?!?!!? Someone at that company wants me to die, sis. First, they inflict Ong Seungwoo and Park Jinwoo on my ass, and now this.
Rating - 4.5/5
1. Bboom Boom (MOMOLAND)
youtube
First of all, can we give S. Tiger a round of applause for throwing it back to EXID's Nyam Nyam Jeop Jeop?!?!?!? That is a top five favorite b side of mines, so the second I heard the guitar in the teaser, I fucking Knew⢠my edges were about to get snatched right off my face.
Secondly, Queen JooE is outchea livin ha best life, and I'm just so here for it. People love to talk shit about girl groups cause they only do cutesy and sexy concepts (nevermind the fact that boy bands do the same shit, but I guess y'all not trynna hear that), but anytime girl groups give you something different, y'all not trynna stan. So, I'm so fucking here for JooE serving you basics Unapologetic Joy⢠in the New Year.
Hallelujah, Thank You Jesus!!
For those of you who can't tell (although it's position in the Fab Five should've tipped you off), I fucking love Bboom Bboom. I was ready for Bboom Bboom the second the teasers started rolling in, and my excitement hit an all time peak with the Great! highlight medley showing that the entire mini was Banger Centralâ˘. My only complaint about the song is that the transition from the trap beat to the regular beat in the second verse was so throwed together and clunky. Did y'all run out of time to really integrate that right, cause?!?!?!?! I love that section, but that it could have been handled way better.
Still my favorite song of the week.
Rating - 4.5/5
And that's that, folks!! Tune in next week at 6pm EST to see my round up of this week's new releases. And don't forget about Friday's Feature Splotlight at 6pm EST!! There's been a little (Okay, it's a pretty big ) change to the schedule. Wanna know what it is?!?!?! Be sure to check it out!!!

AS PROMISED! Show notes! About the Eliza Company!
(Previous Ham show notes: May â16, July â16, October â16)
Pre-show notes:
There were so many stairs! Which wouldnât have been a problem except they didnât sell all the merch upstairs and didnât SAY THAT until we were already up there, so I ran a marathon to get a gd hoodie. idk how those Great Comet kids do that every night, jesus
The stage is smaller or at least SEEMS smaller--more narrow. Thus, some of the choreography seemed different.
This will be the bougiest thing I type in this review, so brace yourselves: they had different signature cocktails and they did NOT have a gin cocktail and while their Hennessy cocktail was FINE, I was a little bummed.
In overview: I LOVED this cast and most of them are now my second favorites after the OBC. They were PHENOMENAL. Iâm so jealous of all my buddies in Chicago who are so close to this cast.
Cast: Alexander Hamilton: Miguel Cervantes Aaron Burr: Daniel Breaker Eliza Hamilton: Ari Afsar Angelica Schulyer: Karen Olivo George Washington: Jonathan Kirkland Lafayette/Jefferson: Chris De'Sean Lee Mulligan/Madison: Jean Godsend Floradin Laurens/Philip: Jose Ramos Peggy/Maria: Samantha Marie Ware and the rest of the cast
Song-by-Song
Alexander Hamilton:Â It was weird not having the wild applause after each actorâs entrance, not even for A.Ham. There was nothing wrong with that, it just threw me. I could tell IMMEDIATELY that Daniel Breakerâs Burr was going to be unique. There wasnât as much emphasis on my FAVORITE DUMB DETAIL of this song, the coat-books-bag hand-off.
Aaron Burr, Sir: Daniel plays Burr as a little more irreverent, and a little closer to ~*~historical Burr~*~ rather than Leslieâs more sleek and refined Burr. His âtalk less, smile moreâ was almost sarcastic, and that really set the tone for him. The whole time that AHam is ranting and babbling, he looked more and more like he was trying to keep his distance, like he was already exasperated. The intros for the gang were PERFECT. They were different from the OBC, but still in the same style.
My Shot: THIS WAS SO GOOD. The moment I knew this cast was going to be something else. This song was a perfect encapsulation of Hamilvantes--frantic and desperate and defensive and ready for shit. JosĂŠ was a perfect hype-man, his Laurensâ recklessness really shone through, like this was what he was always primed to do and he finally found someone willing to encourage it. Chris Lee was SO funny and his accent was PERF. Iâd say better than Daveedâs, but Iâll get to the issues with that later. We had an understudy for Mull/Mad, Jean Godsend Floradin, and he was SO AMAZING--he was small and somehow had all that big Hercules Mulligan personality inside of him all the same.
Story of Tonight:Â I will admit that this song was not as queer as Iâm used to/wanted it to be. AHam did a lot more hanging off of everyone as opposed to just Laurens. Of course, no one will ever gay this up as much as Lin and Anthony.
Schuyler Sisters:Â SAMANTHA WARE THO. Peggy is so frustrated and angry with her big sisters at the start and that was perfect. Karen is AMAZING she brings a very different energy to Angelica in this song, more...I donât know, like sheâs rushing out there to learn, whereas Renee played it more like she already KNEW these things, but was bringing her sisters out to see it for themselves. Also, Danielâs Burr is so full of himself and such a smarmy asshole and I LOVED IT.
Farmer Refuted: Seabury was so tiny! JosÊ Amor was just swallowed by the costume. He played the character younger and less condescending than Thayne does. Miguel had an almost angry edge to his delivery, or maybe more sarcastically vindictive. Whatever he did, it was super funny.
Youâll Be Back:Â This was funny? idk, Iâm not into these songs as much as other people, theyâre funny, but itâs kind of just one joke?
There were audible gasps during the transition, which furthers my conviction that itâs one of the three best things in the show that you donât know about if you havenât seen it.
Right Hand Man: Jonathan Kirkland as GWash was really good, but it took me a couple minutes to decide that/connect with him.Very commanding and frustrated in a very different way than Chris Jackson. Older seeming. I noticed for the first time the very specific desertion choreography leading up to âare these the men with which...etc.â I LOVED Danielâs delivery of Burrâs lines in GWashâs office, particularly âfrom a distance.â âWe keep meetingâ was played for laughs explicitly, whereas on bâway I always feel like people laugh at it even though it isnât necessarily delivered as a joke. (This line always scans as more creepy than funny to me on the cast recording.)
Winterâs Ball: Weirdly, this was the gayest number in the show? AHam and Laurens are hanging off each other basically up to the second the âladies!â bit starts and did not seem like, totally convinced this was something worth their time? It was an interesting choice.
Helpless: My party was divided on their feelings on this song and Ari, but I came down strongly on LOVED HER. I wrote a little heart next to this number in the notes in my bullet journal. She was so cute and I loved her voice and she was perfectly bubbly and in love. Karenâs delivery of âIâm just saying...etcâ was AMAZING and totally new and I loooooooved it.
Satisfied: I WOULD KILL A MAN FOR KAREN OLIVO. Her performance is basically like sheâs having a conversation with herself, posing a question/problem and trying to come up with any possible solution where she wins. Like sheâs working through this problem and realizing sheâll never win. It was much more...idk, interactive than Renee or Mandy? There was a lot of her delivery and face that was more animated. Her âso this is what it feels like...etcâ was AMAZING, incredible, genuinely amazed and shocked that she was stymied by this guyâs brain. Itâs definitely my favorite performance of this song ever. Worth the whole goddamn Chicago vacation on its own.
Story of Tonight (Reprise): Cute. âSheâs marriedâ was SO good. They were both so into it--Burr was smug and knew exactly what he as getting away with and AHam was almost proud of him for it XD
Wait For It:Â Danielâs more rakish, funny Burr makes this song even more poignant, like a look into whatâs beyond his jokey exterior. I connected with it SO deeply.
Stay Alive:Â Lee was pretty funny. Iâm pretty sure Lafayette gave him the finger as he ran off, which made me laugh.
Ten Duel Commandments: Again with the ânot as queer as it could be.â (Sorry, my gay, depressed, stressed out self over-relates to historical Laurensâ gay, depressed, stressed out self, so Laurensâ subtextual gayness is important to me.) (And a lot of feelings about the decision to make it subtextual in the libretto, if not in the OBCâs performance, but I wonât get into that.) (Altho I will say something about the letter hand-off at the ânote for your next of kinâ made it seem like the letter was specifically intended for AHam? Something in the look they exchanged on the hand-over.) JosĂŠ was SO tiny next to Robert Walters as Lee??? And, surprise, I loved Danielâs delivery of E V E R Y  O N E of his lines.Â
Meet Me Inside:Â GWASH WAS SO BIG AND AHAM IS SO LITTLE. Like, one of the few things I knew about this cast going in was that Miguel is the tiny!Ham, but Jonathan Kirkland is SO TALL! I loved AHam losing his shit, but given how scrappy and defensive Miguel plays the character for the rest of act one, I kind of expected more? GWash played it almost as if he wasnât firing AHam, just sending him home to think about what heâd done and see his wife and cool off.
That Would Be Enough:Â Ari has a great voice and I love how physically affectionate she is with AHam. It felt so natural and really added to their chemistry.
Guns and Ships:Â Burrâs intro is SO EXCITED like he couldnât wait to tell us about Lafayette. Like I said earlier, Chris Leeâs accent was better than Daveedâs, BUT because it was so good, I have a feeling some of the lines were indecipherable to people who didnât know the words, despite the fact that his rapping was very crisp.
History Has Its Eyes on You:Â I never really noticed the signifigance of Washington handing over the sword before. It definitely felt like Washington was making sure AHam really thought long and hard about his new responsibilities before giving it to him.
Yorktown: INCREDIBLE. Mulliganâs verse was SO GOOD. This number always gives me chills and this was no exception. I always want to jump up and cheer and they def fueled that today. Also, the âimmigrantsâ line got applause and cheers, even though a lot of the other applause/cheer lines didnât not.
What Comes Next:Â This was fine.
Dear Theodosia:Â Very sweet on both their parts. Their voices really sound wonderful together.
Tomorrow Thereâll Be More of Us:Â The cramped staging of this really threw me. AHam could have reached out and touched dead!Laurens. JosĂŠ played it kind of wistfully smiley which didnât 100% work for me, which is probably good in the long run considering how wrecked I was watching Anthony.
Non-Stop: SO GOOD. At the beginning-- âafter the warâ etc--it was like AHam was trying to show up Burr in all his line deliveries. At the start of the courtroom bit, Burr looked at the audience like he was looking into the camera on the Office and it was amazing. âConstitutional conventionâ was adorbs--he started normal and went full on squeal by the end. âYouâre a better lawyer than meâ was SO GOOD, like he showed up just to announce that after steeling himself and Burr was so over it and I LOVED IT. The end was so perf and intense, specifically the âisnât this enoughâ/âhe will never be satisfied.â And AHamâs âlook around, look aroundâ is always one of my favorite lines.
Intermission:Â I am SO GOOD at bathrooms, guys, I was in the ladies room before the lights even came up all the way and out in time to grab a drink before dissecting the show with my buddies.
Whatâd I Miss?: Good, but not as good as I wanted it to be? Lots of little flourishes that made it his own, but not over the top enough for my preferences. (Iâve previously seen Daveed and Chappelle, so my preferences really err on the side of VERY OVER THE TOP). He kept poking Madison with his cane to get his attention, which was cute. His âI canât believe that we are freeâ hit particularly hard for some reason--it might have been the angle I was sitting at and how the slaves were framed in the view from that side.Â
Cabinet Battle #1:Â GOOD ALL AROUND A+ EVERYONE.
Take a Break:Â I really liked JosĂŠâs approach to this number more than Anthonyâs. Anthony hangs a lampshade on it, JosĂŠ leaned into playing a nine year old, and that works better for me. The audience LOVED Elizaâs beatboxing. And Karen and Ari are SO. GOOD. TOGETHER.
Say No To This:Â Samantha Ware definitely plays Maria as more complicit in the blackmail. You can tell she LIKES AHam, but sheâs also an adult who knows what sheâs doing the whole time. I LOVED that play on it--very different from Jasmine, but equally nuanced and interesting.
Room Where It Happens:Â SO GOOD. I know I keep typing that in all caps but ITâS TRUE especially when it comes to Danielâs Burr. Itâs like he so genuinely was shocked and needed to figure this out. There was so much energy at the end and his final verse with slightly different choreography was sooooooo great.
Schuyler Defeated:Â Good job everyone.
Cabinet Battle #2:Â âFranceâ was so good, like Madison wasnât sure if he was supposed to reply once the mic was in his face. He almost missed it. A+.
Washington On Your Side: THIS WAS GREAT. I loved TJeffâs fast verse in the middle, his realization that he needed to resign made him wide-eyed and bowled over. Madison directed his âwhich I wrote!â at TJeffs and Burr, when heâs directed it off stage the last few times Iâve seen it, like he was finishing an argument with people and then wandering into this song. Burr was def stirring shit at the start when he went up to TJeffs.
One Last Time: ALSO SO GOOD EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD SORRY. I loooooved GWashâs âtalk lessâ which was much more sarcastic/bemused than Chrisâ frustration on that line. His GWash overall had that much more fatherly feeling to him. His riffs at the end were amazing--he went full gospel and he def had a powerful enough voice for it.
I Know Him:Â Good, etc.
The Adams Administration:Â King George is much more involved in this number than heâs been any other time I saw it. I didnât dislike that? Iâm neutral on it.
We Know:Â Good. One of my other fave lines is in this song and I wasnât super into the delivery of it, but overall it was suitably foreboding.
Hurricane:Â Beautiful. I really felt it on the heels of AHamâs desperation/defensiveness in Act 1. I totally get why he would do this, even more so than usual. And there was def a little spite thrown in with his other reasons, just for good measure, which is #relatablecontent.
The Reynoldsâ Pamphlet: Samantha Wareâs forced âhaha NOTHING TO SEE HEREâ smile added to the âsheâs complicitâ vibe. JosĂŠ was great, King George and TJeffs were HILARIOUS.
Burn: SO FUCKING GOOD. SHE WAS SO ANGRY AND UPSET. I LOVED IT. Her âI hope that you BURNâ at the end gave me chills and seemed ten times more vengeful and furious than any other performance Iâve seen, which I am INTO. Give me more furious, vengeful Eliza.
Blow Us All Away: mostly fine. Philip could have been a little suaver. âEverything is legal in New Jerseyâ was great, I have yet to hear a bad delivery of that line, though I may be biased.
Stay Alive (Reprise):Â SHE SCREAMED A LITTLE! Not the full on shriek, but a tiny anguished scream and that is ALL I WANT. It totally worked for me and was one of the two things I REALLY missed from Lexiâs performance.
Quiet Uptown:Â Not as emotional, and not in a bad way. Everyone was a little more in control, which is a legit way to play it--more numb than hysterical. As a result, I stayed more together than usual. Karen has a great voice, obvs.
Election of 1800: Burr was all exhausted for the whole thing and I loved it. I loved his eavesdropping on the voters. Madisonâs delivery of âyou worked on the same staffâ was great. I kind of wanted more from Burrâs face after he lost b/c he was SO EXPRESSIVE for the rest of the show. The âbecause Iâm the Presidentâ bit was good overall, though no one will ever beat Chappelleâs delivery of that line. Burr sucking up to TJeffs and the way TJeffs and Madison broke away to have that conversation like Burr wasnât right there. Loved it!
Your Obedient Servant:Â FUNNY esp because Burr is SO MAD and then so sweet on that closing lines. His "Sweet Jesus" was great.Â
Best of Wives, Best of Women:Â I teared up. Ari and Miguel had such lovely, loving chemistry.
The World Was Wide Enough: Very good on all sides--Daniel killed it. I teared up on âEliza!â as usual, which started tears #1. Tears #2 is âThey say Angelica and Eliza.â I never noticed before how everyone gathers around Burr at the end. The end of the song was so painful and emotional, I lost it again on âThe world was wide enough...â it was SO full of emotion.
Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story: I BURST into tears on âEliza!â here too. and then just sobbed through the end. Karen was SO angry at the start of the song and that worked so well. And Ari did the look and the gasp and I am CRYING AGAIN JUST THINKING ABOUT IT (Lexi also didnât do the gasp when I saw her and Iâm slightly bitter). Then I cried for like, five solid more minutes.
Cast
Miguel Cervantes: Heâs SO TINY? SO. TINY. His Hamilton is SO angry and scrappy. He def plays Ham as defensive of everything. He was incredible. He had amazing chemistry with Ari and Karen and JosĂŠ and a great rapport with Burr and Washington. He was SUPER flirty with the girls. His delivery of âIâm not stupidâ was fab, said very plainly and directly. He had SO MUCH emotion during things like âYorktownâ and âNon-Stop.â The way he taunted Burr in âRoom Where It Happensâ was great--you could see his slow slide from âI want to be this guyâs friend!â to âmy asshole frenemy.â
Daniel Breaker: I would kill a man for Daniel Breaker? Holy shit, I loved him so much. Like I said, his Burr is more sarcastic and funny, more personable, more goofy, using sarcasm to keep everyone at armâs length. He was definitely invested in AHam and the gang, but kept himself at a distance. His face was AMAZING, his facial expressions were worth the price of admission. He really connected with Burr in âWait For It.â He was so angry and betrayed at the end, and watching that drift into regret was beautiful. His âWAIT!â was chilling.
Ari Afsar:Â I LOVED HER. Great transition from innocent and excited and enthusiastic and lovestruck to more mature to stoic and angry. She was very physically affectionate with Ham and their love was very believable and sweet. She did the scream and the gasp, which, as I said, are so important to me. During the finale, she perfectly melded the innocence and joy of act 1 with the maturity and determination of act 2. Eliza is a kind of thankless role and itâs difficult to put enough into it to shine, I think, but she nailed it.
Karen Olivo: I WOULD KILL A MAN FOR KAREN OLIVO. Sheâs maybe my favorite Angelica? I liked her better than Mandy, whom I LOVED, and maybe even more than Renee. I need to listen to/watch Renee again. But. WOW. Her âSatisfiedâ is so different--her whole interpretation of the character is so different! Her Angelica is much more animated and nosy and involved. She had amazing chemistry with Miguel and with Ari. âSchuyler Sistersâ was WILD and ENERGIZED and excited. When she came out for WLWDWTYS, I was honestly shocked by how fierce she was.
Jonathan Kirkland:Â I was a little unsure of him when he first came out, but he totally sold me. His GWash was incredibly paternal, something Chris flirted with, but there was definitely a delineation there between family and duty. Jonathan plays it much more familial, which was really cool and obvs hit my found family buttons like whoa. You could tell how genuinely he cared for AHam as a person. He was more amused than annoyed by a lot of AHamâs shit. He also felt OLDER than the rest of the cast, but in a different way than Chris did.
Chris DeâSean Lee:Â SO GREAT. His French accent was so good--better than Daveedâs--and his rapping was A+. Heâs definitely my second favorite Lafayette. He was very playful. His Jefferson was very good, but not as good as I wanted it to be? There was a little something missing in comparison to Daveed and Chappelle.
Jean Godsend Floradin: He was an understudy and I was SO SURPRISED because he really owned the role! He was tinier than the traditional Oak!sized Mull/Mad in my head, but just a fierce and scrappy. His verse in âYorktownâ was intense and he was so funny as Madison. He had great partner-in-crime chemistry with Laf/Jeff.
JosĂŠ Ramos: His rapping voice was incongruously deep! But he really established the angry shit-stirring recklessness of Laurens. His Laurens was FIRED UP to kick ass and take names. He was also SO SMALL compared to everyone but AHam, but ESPECIALLY compared to Lee. âTen Duel Commandmentsâ was so funny when they were back to back. He was fierce, though. His death scenes were a little too wistfully smiley to me, but still better than Thayneâs Musical Theatre Smile death scenes. Philip was GREAT--he leaned into the tininess at the start of the act. He was great during âThe Reynolds Pamphletâ and his interactions with AHam were great.
Samantha Marie Ware: REALLY GREAT. I saw Sasha Hutchings as Peggy/Maria and was not so impressed. Itâs a tough, thankless role and hard to make something of it, I think. Jasmine, of course, completely turns the role into a highlight of the show, but itâs not easy. Samantha NAILED IT. Her Peggy was almost argumentative in âSchuyler Sistersâ and her Act 1 interactions with everyone, esp the sisters, were great. Her Maria was AMAZING. She played Maria as at least partially complicit, but with mixed feelings and it worked SO WELL for me.Â
AND THATâS THAT. We didnât stage door because we literally forgot that was a thing, we were so pumped from the show. Let me know if you have any questions, I am HAPPY TO ANSWER THEM to the best of my ability!Â

Who let me watch 5.06?
I should be doing an assignment thatâs due tomorrow but ya know due tomorrow means do tomorrow. Lol I know I should be ashamed to be a procrastinator but university has ruined me anyway. Iâm tired from literally going to one lecture haha, but in any event Iâve been rewatching mad men for the who knows what time but I thought Iâd take a break from all that and watch an episode of CtM & @flyingnonny inspired me to do a reaction post so why not? I decided on 5.06 since last Sundayâs episode reminded us of that camping trip đđ Â here goes nothing..Â
*skips intro bc Iâm impatient*
Cute community moment âşď¸
TRIXIEđ slaying my life
Shelagh looks so good too đ and Angela melting my heart!
Why is shelagh forever wearing cardigans? I like cardigans every now and then but all the time, really?
Everyone is sitting outside, Trixie is in a sleeveless dress, as is Barbara, so it has to be warm?? take it off Shelagh
Shes still my bby though even if I donât always agree with her fashion choices
what gross vejo pinching Trixieâs ass? Thatâs not ok
And Babs too lmao, creepy old man, die
Shelagh saying âhello dearâ aw
But this is like the only interaction between Shelagh and Trixie & that does not suffice !!
ALL I WANT IS FOR THEM TO HAVE AN ACTUAL FRIENDSHIP IDC HOW MANY TIMES IVE SAID IT I REALLY Want itđđđđ my two fav bbys
I HAVE EVEN GIVEN REASONS WHY & I CAN GIVE THEM AGAIN *** Â Â Â Â 1) Why not?? Shelagh has like no real friends besides her husband and sort of Sister Julienne? Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
 2) just please, because Iâm asking nicely                           3) When Shelagh was Sister Bernadette she was often friendly/ in the gossip and conversation with the nurses & remember that one time Trixie grabbed her to come listen to Jennyâs phone conversation?        Â
4) Trixie was the only one besides Sister Julienne to visit her in the sanatorium. That has to count for something! Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 5) Theyâve both been on the show since day 1 & have known each other the longest (besides the nuns) why wouldnât they be friends or least actually speak to each other?
Aye this is the lady whoâs fake pregnant
Shelagh wearing earrings though >> here for it
Sorry there will be a lot of gushing over Shelagh and Trixie
And also I WANT TRIXIEâS HOOP EARRINGS SO BAD, where can I find them??
And how do I get her clothes and figure and her everything lol?
PHYLLIS ! My champion
âWould it have killed you to sit down for five minutes and eat the whole thing!â I LOVE HER, SHE IS A GEM, A HERO, A BADASS & IM NOT READY FOR SUNDAY. IM GOING TO BAWL WITH AND FOR HER
she deserves the best
I think this is the only time Iâve ever heard Trixie address Shelagh by her first name?? a prob.
They need to interact more đđđđ I will stop saying it when Iâm dead even then Iâll prob say it
Actually when I think of it no one ever calls Shelagh by her first name besides obviously Patrick? And Sister Julienne
#MoreShelaghAndTheOtherNursesInteracting2k17aka1962
And I need at least two seconds of them dotting on pregnant Shelagh
Helen looks so good like goals
âI threatened to put one man over my knee but that only encouraged himâ HA IM DEAD NO KINK SHAME
I think thereâs been a similar joke before but fuck it itâs still funny to me
But seriously everyone loves Trixie lol how could you not though?
Hey Pats, itâs been a while
Lol omg Tim in that uniform.. Not the best costume đđ
Never seen Whistle Down the Wind
But you see, Tom and Babs making out as usual, Iâm not knocking it lol but this is why Sister J told her to chill when they went to South Africađ
also lowkey jealous bc Jack Ashton is handsome af and that couldâve been me but itâs all good. He and Helen are adorable together and Iâm here for it x10000
Omg I forgot this lady got assaulted
Oh shit I just remembered this is the episode where sister MC is attacked FUCK WHY DID I WATCH THIS
she canât report it bc sheâd get arrested for soliciting wtf
But remember Shelagh wore the headbands in like series 3 (so glad she stopped I was not here for it)? They mustâve gave them to Babs lol
I forgot Trixie didnât tell the nurses about AA yet
But she looks gorgeous as ever, even with her mascara running
Lowkey nauseas looking at all that fish ugh. Funny becuase they put a grocery store that has a fish market on the block up from where I live in NYC and I hate it Â
I forgot about Peter lol and he was in an episode this series whoops
LIKE WHEREâS YOUR WIFE LOL, *I know, too busy for this, I donât think sheâd fit in the series anymore anyway*
Sister Mary Cynthia đ°âŁď¸
Lol she doesnât sing loud enough ??
Sister Julienne is so cute when she smiles but donât forget sheâs a badass
REMEMBER THE AGGRESSIVE JACKET FLAP BC OF THE IRRITATING SISTER URSULA
How did this girl hide her pregnancy though?
And did her brothers just not realize she was pregnant and the mother wasnât?
Oh jeez my cousin was a colic-y baby and my parents kept him like 3 days a week when I was in high school & it was a nightmare. I didnât sleep for so long
Dont get me wrong I love babies. But when they scream when Iâm trying to sleep, nope. Return to sender.
Shelagh is so excited about camping itâs the purest and most adorable thing đđAnd I like her shirt Â
Shelagh made Tim copy the napkin folding from a magazine, SHE IS A GEM
âWe never have serviettes on a weeknightâ wtf did they just not use napkins every day? Iâm confused Lmaoo. What am I missing here đomg that reminds me of one of the times my family and I went on a cruise (2006, hella long time ago already wow?? 11 yrs yikes) and my brother & cousin were late to dinner and lied to my mom & aunt saying they were at a ânapkin folding classâ & my family deadass believed it up until 2 years agođ
Shelaghâs accent is so cute. Iâve said that many times but itâs so sweet. But again why do we just have to accept sheâs Scottish with no context as to how/why she came to England? Like Iâm sure there were convents in Scotland. I dont even care that much I just will forever be curious as to why it seems she had no life before she got married lol? Like they donât ever bring up the fact she was a nun, but ok maybe she feels awkward talking about it but what about before?Â
Theyâre so excited itâs so precious, protect this family đđđđ
Sister MJ is fasting lol I should try itđ
Omg another dumb story, I didnât realize today is Ash Wednesday and was hella confused seeing some people with ash on their forehead đđ I should give up something for lent but idk what, we shall see. My mom gave up carbs last year & I died bc I lived at home and ate what she cooked and almost all my fav foods are carbsđ
Shelagh referred to Patsy as Patsy, Iâve only ever heard her say Nurse Mount??
lol Tim youâre what 14? you know damn well those arent* bullet holes
at least he has some of his innocence still. I didnât @ 14
Sometimes I forget Iâm gonna be 19 this year wtf. Iâve accidentally told people Iâm 16 before and had to correct myself đđ
Patrick is excited about this holiday, boy you donât know whatâs coming đ
HEâS GONNA ATTACK THE LADY WITH A BABY I FORGOT THAT TOO WTF
I wanna fight him
Dianeâs anemic ? Or her mum is just assuming
SHELAGH IN HER CAMPING OUTFIT!! The hair scarf and trousers !! Iâm so here for it đđ
I want to see her in another pair!! yes lets get it 1962. Probably not likely this series but hopefully next series!! Ah canât wait
Shit this series is almost over đđ but omg 1963 gonna be lit as well?!
Like the space race started/orbiting the earth, Kennedyâs assassination .. wait never mind lol Iâm thinking of American History moments. but still a lot of it was crazy world news so maybe itâs mentioned?? first bond film came out in'63, petition for Tim to go take Susan whatever from around the corner to see it since we know he liked the novels
Lots of famous films came out in â63 so thereâs gotta be some reference.
Fun fact: I love pop culture references in period drama bc Iâm lame jk Iâm majoring in education (to teach history)
Old news but still relevant: Phyllisâs turn on: Rolodex systems đ
âCRANE, as in the wading bird or industry lifting equipment, whichever you preferâ LOVE U PHYLLIS, YOU CORRECT HIM
PHYLLISâS FACE WHEN GODFREY SUGGESTS SHE CAME OUT OF RETIREMENT, IM DEAD
âI shall consider retirement when Iâm at the appropriate ageâ Â IM LAUGHING SO HARD, FUCK YEA PHYLLIS. I LOVE HER SO MUCH, LINDA BASSET IS ON THE LIST WITH LAURA AND HELEN OF PEOPLE WHO COULD PUCH ME IN THE FACE AND IâD THANK
LOL SHELAGH JUST STANDING AWKWARDLY LISTENING TO THIS CONVERSATION
âBuenos vacacionesâ Â I NEED MORE PHYLLIS WORKING ON HER SPANISH I LOVE IT, Ella es oro.
lol the roof rack, bet it was Phyllisâs they borrowed when they moved
PHYLLISâS FACE OF DISGUST WHEN DR GODFREY SMILES AT HER IS ME ALWAYS
LOL THE THE NURSES & SISTER WINIFRED DYING OVER PATRICKâS SHORTS (EVen though sister W âswears sheâs not lookingâ)
I THINK THE SOCKS AND WHITE DAD SANDALS ARE MORE AMUSING đđ
Poor Judithđ
Itâs a vicious attack Sister J! But you donât know it yet so I get u
Here comes summer..đ
SETTING UP IN THE POURING RAIN LOL
Shelagh and Angela being adorable !!
Tim and Patrick proud that  they set the tents up & boom it falls đ which is symbolic for me taking exams, I think I did well or at least decent on them and then I find out I failed by like 5 points
Nonnatus table scenes <3 đ
âIâve seen more dangerous marshmallow bunniesâ lmao Pats this is a serious moment I shouldnât laugh
Shelagh took off her glasses đđ but fr how is Laura Main so perfect
Patrick put scotch in its lit, pass it overđ
Lol Shelagh drinking is a strange thought but Iâm so here for it. Nuns canât drink right? Idk. Imagine her drinking alcohol for the first time and just getting drunk đ we know Patrick and Tim are lightweights getting drunk off one beer so I assume shelagh would toođ
Damn it Patrick, you spilled your cup. Furthermore proving youâre a disaster đ
LMAO SHELAGHâs âWTFâ FACE WHEN SHE ASKS PATRICK WHAT HEâS THINKING ABOUT AND HE SAID THE ULCER CLINIC
LIKE C'MON PATRICK YOU KNOW WHERE SHELAGH WAS TRYNA GO WITH THATđ
âAnd if you donât mind my saying so, youâre not exactly Cliff Richards yourselfâ SHELAGH đđ another great line of hers, love it
I love their playful banter lol we need more of that đ but lets be real series 6 has had some of the greatest Shelagh and Patrick moments so I canât complain đđ
Peter and Barbara is such a unusual dynamic haha
âHow is chummy?â Wait does Babs even know Chummy? I donât even remember if they met tbh
But for real Shelagh did you really think Patrick would just forget about work completely ??
Lol Angela crying because she is petrified of squirrelsđđand Shelagh running to her is so cute.
Why didnât she just get rid of the *creepy* squirrel nutkin book? it seemed like they still had it in series 6 haha
rice pudding is I think the same as aroz con leche, lol itâs gross sorry
Dianeâs water broke oh shit
the Turners all in the tent playing I spy bc itâs raining haha
I went camping for the first and last time this past summer w/ my sister in laws & her friends, it was awful đđ I got like 100 mosquito bites that became welts, i literally slept in the car the second night & it was mid July fairly south of east coast aka it was humid and sticky af , there were wild horses that walked around..Thank God they brought alcohol cause it was a nightmare I donât wanna remember đđ
ANGELA IS SO CUTE UGH & ANOTHER GREAT SHELAGH FACEđ
lol yes go to a hotel, shouldâve done that from the get
So what exactly does Fred run? some civil defense thing?
Sheâs in labor and canât even scream omg, Iâm screaming
âThey are often incorrect in their opinionâ Sister MJ is a gem. I want someone to look at me the way Sister MJ looks at cake and the television
Phyllis yelling at Dr Godfreyđ
PATSâS FACE OF DISGUST IS ALSO ME
HOW DO THESE WOMEN GIVE BIRTH STANDING/SITTING UP?? AHHHH
There you are Beatrix, itâs been a while
Patsy being suspicious with the card game line lol. but when is Trixie going to find out about Patsy and Delia?
SHE RIPPED OUT HER WOMB?! WTF OMG IM SCREAMING
THIS HURTS TO WATCH AHH
Trixie and Sister MC to the rescue but omg this is wild I forgot
Fred wtf you canât be sneaking up like that
DONT LEAVE SISTER MC ALONE TRIXIE
NOO, IM NOT PREPARED FOR THIS
âThere are flowers on the table, and feathers in these pillows, thatâs all the nature I need to get back toâ I feel you Patrick lol, I like nature but not camping
Lol remember Shelaghâs old nightgown? ah I donât miss it. The bri nylon is such a look⢠& obviously has magically powers i.e this miraculous conception.
â..or theyâve been mulled to death by squirrelsâ IM DEAD HAHA THAT WAS A GOOD DAD JOKE, NICE ONE PATRICK
aw the baby is so precious
Why is the operating room/being in surgery called theatre in the U.K.?? and why is the doctorâs office/practice called the surgery? so many questions from a confused American..
Sister MC by the docksđđ she was just chillin with God and THIS HORRIBLE MAN RUINS EVERYTHING WTF UGH
Oh no
SISTER MC JUST UNCONSCIOUS ON THE DOCKS WTF IM CRYING WHY WOULD HURT HER
Patrick even if you were there she wouldnât have called you, donât blame urself
itâs not your arrogance sister MC!!
