but my idea for the weirder guy team's blu team is that theyre a hivemind. this is a fairly recent development, their scout found a magical artifact that was part of something merasmus started and then, for whatever reason, never finished at some point pre tf2 canon. somebody then got blood on it by accident, and the next thing blu team knew they were a hivemind.

the blu team hivemind (any pronouns) is one mind with 9 bodies, said minds personality being kind of a mashup of the traits of the people that they used to be.

they do have a name other than blu team hivemind, which is the result of me mashing up a set of nine semi-random 1st names and 9 semi-random last names, resulting in Ovailsyox Coytlaisa-uruell (from oliver crew (their scout), val romero (their soldier), xipil Hueytletl (their pyro), faris carillo (their demo), kyro branislav (their heavy), ace blackburn (their medic), murphy wu (their sniper - i feel like ive heard that name somewhere before, hopefully its nothing embarrasing or Bad), and rex campbell (their spy)). i usually just refer to them as the blu team hivemind though because the mashed up name is kind of a wizard name + some other reasons that arent really solid in my mind

id imagine theyre kind of conflicted on whether they wanna go back to being multiple people or not. on one hand, the blu team hivemind kinda likes being themself? but on the other hand theyre not sure what the former blu teams loved ones - or, should she find out, the administrator - would think, plus some other, personal stuff thats not quite solid in my brain yet.

speaking of the administrator, the weirder guy team and blu team hivemind's version of tf2 canon assumes (it kinda has to) a unique set of teams for every map (excluding mvm, training mode, and dev maps). thats 236, possibly more, teams for her to keep track of. even with help (and i highly doubt she would want more than two or three people helping her because every assistant is an added liability), she probably isnt able to keep track of all of them equally. the weirder guy team and pre-hivemind blu team are some of the lower priority teams. therefore, while the administrator is still a factor, shes less of one than for the canon teams. it would also be a bit easier to keep a secret from her.

id imagine it would get kinda lonely for the blu team hivemind? like they have nobody to talk to except themself and theyre a while away from the closest civilization (i dont have a map for them yet, but in my mind the weirder guy team and blu team hivemind are in the mountains somewhere).

i have a lil scenario in my mind where the weirder guy team notice how unusualy cohesive the blu team have been, and matheo sneaks into their base to see if its anything they need to know about. he finds out about the fact that theyre a hivemind now and eventually befreinds them out of pity. may or may not make that canon, idk

Always love the idea of a tf2 hivemind. Having multiple, such vastly different and often extravagant personalities in one entity is an incredibly fun idea to play with. Makes sense they would debate over returning to their normal states, your characters are peak man. Love this stuff, keep up the brilliant work!

sssorta? i have a sburb au for my d&d characters, and i decided to make half of them trolls. i didnt bother changing their names to fit the typical homestuck naming conventions, but their backstories in this are necessarily pretty different than their og ones.

but that means yall dont need to have played d&d with me to understand what im talking about so! infodump under the cut

The main conceit of their adventure is that Victavyre and Davril (who originally were both played as eldritch knights for lost mines of phandilver/princes of the apocalypse at 2 separate tables) are the first two to enter the game, and their entries are Circumstantially Simultaneous. They both think they're playing a four-player session with their friends, but they end up on opposite sides of the same medium in the same way the hivebent trolls had a bifurcated session.

When Davril wakes up on Prospit, he encounters not only a sleeping Elis, but also Szelseis and Arastina. He thinks they are just weird reoccurring dream demons until he encounters Victavyre in the medium. They get their teams in touch with each other and gradually arrange to daisy-chain the two sessions together. Adventures ensue and all that.

Victavyre and Arastina (originally tieflings) are sisters in their og backstories, so in this au they are simply two grubs who were adopted by the same lusus (who i think is going to be some sort of two-headed creature, each head instinctively adopting a grub of its own).

Szelseis (originally a yuan-ti pureblood) has a giant snake lusus, and he HATES her. He keeps her around because he likes to start shit and it is useful to have a big snake around to eat your enemies when they come knocking. But he and his lusus have a very contentious and semi murderous relationship.

Hella (originally a water genasi) is a seadweller! no lusus shes just out in the ocean vibing and keeping it tight.

Davril (originally a halfling) is sort of bopped around various foster homes, and considers his most consistent family member to be his pet rat, Wink, who he eventually sprites and it is very cute but also Rat Enemies. Final boss is da giant rat who makes all OF da rules?? idk.

Esvele (originally a homebrew race similar to warforged, a human soul in a robot body) has kind of a combo of aradia and jades' robot situations? following the onset of a terminal illness, her mom (a talented scientist) built her a soulbot and she's been in there ever since. but robots don't die naturally so she ended up being passed down the line of guardianship from talented roboticist to talented roboticist throughout the 20th century, her chassis and power source being updated with whatever new technology as it came along. I like to think she eventually is able to do an aradia and come back god tiered somehow but idk, i sort of think its cool if she just stays a robot since thats how her og campaign went.

Asra (originally an aasimar) lives with her mom who is Very Important in her community (im thinking possibly the mayor of a small town) and asra has major gifted kid burnout about it.

Elis (ok hes not "originally" anything because i havent technically played him yet. hes a human wizard based on a random mini and set of dice i got in a blind bag last year and ive been trying to build him into something interesting ever since. im not even sure what kind of magic he DOES i just know hes some kind of wizard and im hoping developing his personality will inform what hes into. i mostly wanted an even number of humans and trolls for this and hes my most recent standby character ANYWAY) i dont have much for him hes just a lil guy. hes goth and eccentric and he likes wearing a lot of fucking layers.

1. taako never intended to be a teacher, he just sort of fell into it bc of a job he had in college, and then he started subbing and he was like. oh shit. oh. oh man. i could do this. and SWITCHED HIS DEGREE AT LIKE THE LAST MINUTE AND HAD TO DO A LOT MORE SCHOOL but he was SO MUCH FUCKING HAPPIER

2. part of the reason he got into it tho is that he was considered a “challenging kid” and he has So Many complaints about his teachers throughout the years. of which there were many bc he and lup got shifted around so fucking much, which didnt help with him being an absolute little shit who just needed someone to notice he needed support

3. he had a whole ass identity crisis when he student taught, and he was so scared, like. am i gonna fuck these kids up?? am i going to ruin their tiny little futures??? he actually started in middle school and went younger when he Had To Get Out of a job and he was like fuck it it’s only one year, i can find another school when this year is over if i have to BUT HE FUCKING LOVED IT!!!!! THESE TINY PEOPLE ADORE HIM!!! AAAH

4. he loves teaching them big words he loves teaching them weird shit to say to their parents he loves wearing weird shit to school he loves getting drawings he loves watching the lightbulbs come on he loves watching them learn to read he loves completely abandoning the lesson plan and doing a whole day on a weird question he loves saying batshit nonsense and backing it up he loves getting down with them and playing aaahh

5. also in this au kravitz works at a casino!!! ive done kravitz as a high school teacher in the past but i thought this would be fun also. he has a lot of fun with it and it’s both nice and hard that he works later in the day. like in the minific he could bring taako lunch!!! but then it’s hard that sometimes taako has to go to bed without him. it’s a tradeoff. he works in guest satisfaction and gets lots of gifts from his high rollers and fucking loves to treat taako and take him out to nice restaurants and stuff!!! idk how they met in this one but it was something stupid and theyve been head over heels ever since. everyone was like. oh my god thats not going to work. but it DID so THERE!!!! krav loves to listen to taako gush or complain about his kids and his day and hes so supportive and full of love fuck i love them so much guys

3. GOD that would be so stressful ALSO having to teach magic?? jesus when is there time for intervention?? FROG!! 

ok so hes a liddol baby . he likes to hang out with sand ! theyre best friends and sometimes go to beaches and other places together. he’s very sweet and a little quiet. just a baby.

speaking of sand here they are!!! they dont talk much but when they do it sometimes freaks cookies out due to it being a drippy sand hole like

frog doesnt care about it too much . sometimes he tries to put sticks or something in their mouth just to see what’d happen. sand just eats the stick

rabbit’s foot is ! very lucky to say the least. hes also pretty gullible and easily fall for tricks but due to his luck they never seem to work out. very rarely does something harmful happen to him, though things like disappointing or saddening other cookies can happen. 

SPEAKING of disappointing or saddening cookies... fun dip! he’s often disappointed due to his tricks not working on rabbit’s foot but that only motivates him more. someone once said he looks like he’d be gumballs brother and honestly that’d be a chaotic pair of siblings (while im hesitant about canon relations with ocs..... who cares????). so yeah fun dip and gumball are brothers. 

rabbit’s foot is very much like a young child (though he is aware of a lot of things, he just has a personality alike to a young child. not a brain alike to a young child) and fun dip is a goofball prankster.

almond is very grumpy and they want to be a powerful wizard . honestly if they knew how to contact de or find her they would. also they are very emotional but tend to bottle it up (becuase in their tags on their ref its like “bad boy or crybaby” and i was like ‘’ok both’’). 

they dont hang around cookies often

and now for your local gamer boy. basically mlg jokes all the way around. mtn dew cookie references all that old stuff! theyre likely aware of other things too but theyre like “ah, nah, no thanks bro lolololol” and somehow they have that one robotic male voice? you know  the one in all of cowbelly’s videos that reads the memes? yeah that one. idk how to describe it

they also live off of doritos! besides their pet because it’s kind of obvious that’s a different dorito (plus g4m3r br0 has been existing for a while so it’d taste bad)

garlic cooky! hes a dad and he’s married but that was on ponytown . i made him when me, kiley, and jamie decided to make a lil oc family . kiley made bread cookie his husband and jamie made butter, their daughter. garlic cookie had a very chaotic family when we all actualy messed around on there !

he also adopted some one’s herb pony on ponytown who acted very feral . we joked about dog with a blog because garlic called him the family dog . garlic cookie thinks toe toe (what he named the feral herb) is a dog unironically. like legit. also he’s a vampire ! he’s allergic to himself but isn’t dead yet somehow.

they are a very sweet cookie who wishes to befriend many aliens! they’ve learned many languages and often mixes things up (as in, like, you know, accidentally saying an alien idiom in english or an english idiom in alien, forgetting words from either language then trying to describe it then BAM remembering. probably said an alien idiom in ANOTHER alien language while speaking in an english conversation). they know plenty of written languages and honestly? they try so hard to make sure every one is heard. theyre not very professional and theyre kinda bad at driving a ship 

whcih is why they let their space buddy drive the ship! yeah their dog, buddy, drives a spaceship. its funky but their dog is literally a spaceship itself.

like, i’ve been playing the game recently and the story is so good? i feel like it would really work as a fic. and get this: there are six main characters! so like yeah it would be cool to try and write a fic based on that game. 

but knowing me i’d probably make it jae x everyone lololol i ain’t kidding around. i love allllll the jae ships.

it’s basically: b.a.p as magical wizards who go on a space adventure and save the entire universe

(you don’t have to read the next paragraph. it just gives a lil context)

and so....magical starsign’s plot is basically these six kids go to this magic school and then one day boom theyre going on a space adventure but everything goes real bad and shit because like they all end up on different planets. and the main character (playable character? you? idk what to call it? the equivalent of ‘my unit’ in fire emblem) and the first character end up on the earth planet and save these people that live underground (from starvation or something? i can’t quite remember. its like in ‘a bug’s life’ where they fight an enemy taking the food...or something) and then they get this neat ass rocket and when theyre taking off (theyre aiming for the wind planet here) they get attacked by MOTHERFREAKING ROBOTS YES and shit happens and they end up on the water planet. and on the water planet, its frozen over?? funky. anyway they find the body of a robot that suspiciously looks like their robot friend (recruitable character ay yes) but he’s missing a head? anyway turns out sOME GUY STOLE THE HEAD TO USE AS A BATTERY FOR HIS HEATER BECAUSE HE COULDNT FIND HIS REGULAR BATTERIES and then boom boom pow you defeat freaking space pirates and shut down the ice machine that froze the planet over, thus saving the people yayyyy. then you choose which planet to go to; wind planet to find someone theyre looking for or wood planet to defeat more space pirates (to me the story makes more sense if you go wind planet tho so i’m going with that for now). right so they go to the wind planet and turns out your other wizard friend is there being hunted by the space police and you get to save hiiiiiim and then its all happy. also you meet a twig that can walk and talk and its called ‘twigdamus’. i love it. so then they get their asses to the wood planet where this village has taken your fourth buddy and has him tied to a pole because their forced to give up magicians to the space pirates (or else). and bam later he espaces on his own and you have to make your way through the mighty jungle to get to the space pirates and when you do, you find your fifth and final recruitable character but she’s like fucked in the head or something because she basically goes “fuck you guys” and leaves with the space pirates for the fire planet. then the five people you do have haul ass to the fire planet and dwnjnf it takes forever but eventually you get her on your side and then....i dont know the story keeps going. basically you find there’s a guy called kale who wants to destroy the entire universe and the six kids have to stop him;;

sooooooooooooooooooooooooo i’m thinking; youngjae would be the main character (helloooo he’s my hero, he should be the story’s main hero) and he winds up on the earth planet with jongup. (i’m so into youngup rn its insane). also because theres a big rocket crash...i need a cute healing scene like??? a lot??? anyway these boys save the underground people because theyre flipping amazing. also, having jongup be first means youngjae spends the entire adventure with him and for some reason thats just so cute to me??? like one of those ‘together through it all type things’. also means jongup practices wind magic which tbh based on the game, i feel like would be really cool for him. then they haul ass to the water planet and i know they find a robot so it should be junhong but i’d probably get rid of all that jazz so theres no robot. instead, i’d probaly make it that they basically go straight to defeating the pirates and since we know the pirates are kidnapping mages, i’d have youngup free the imprisoned mages and one of them happens to be a member of b.a.p. and i’m thinking yongguk. bc i freaking love bangjae and i need them to have 14848252 interactions. also that means that yongguk practices earth magic and i’d say thats pretty spot on. also just picture...bangjaeup hanging out on the beach together after unfreezing the planet *heart eyes*. aight then they go to the wind planet. who should the space police be after??? my mind screams junhong just because i feel like he could accidentally get himself into trouble or something idk its 3 am. also i need like a....’youngjae saves junhong and then junhong gives him the biggest and cutest fucking hug ever’ type scene. theyre hugs are cut af. and that means junhong practices wood magic (basically plants n nature n stuff ooooh) which i think is really flipping cute???. yeah so then they get to the wood planet and theres the village with the next b.a.p member whose been captured. i initially thought daehyun but after careful consideration im thinking himchan. idk why. but like i just feel like it fits. and like that means daehyun gets to be the betraying snake dude later. which also means when they reunite, daejae will have the most dramatic flipping reuinion in the wholegame and i live for drama. and then theyre all together and the six of them save the entire universe!!!! while five of them just love and adore youngjae and wanna be with him because he’s amazing and everybody loves youngjae and whooooo jaeships

Im sick, and im in my dad's car so I can't draw like I normally would, so now u guys gotta listen to my ramblings about my weird ass horses. Y'know like the unicorns and pegasi I make? Yeah them.

Y'know my goblins from Goblin Week? They're in the same kinda universe thingy. It dosn't rlly have a name its just a shit load of mythical beasts and fairytale shit.

The dudes I make aren't exactly normal- im just gonna call them ponies shut up- they arem't exactly normal ponies. I like to think that however many years ago, the humans when they first came? Like- they found some of the tiny ponies and kinda started breeding them like how humans made dogs, until they were like the unicorns and pegasi and shit we normally see.

Alicorns are also man made. Often times they don't have nearly as strong magic as the unicorns, much less the original tiny unicorns. Original "alicorns" were basicly a unicorn with a pegasus tail, or a pegasus with a unicorn tail. Theres also probably like 3 in existance where a unicorn and a pegasi had a baby with tiny wings that can't do much of anything and a lil bump on their head that does less than man made alicorns. Usually they don't make it passed a few months because health problems and predators.

The ponies do have villages, but they're hiden from the eye of anything resembling humans because they don't want to turn into pets or something. (And by resembling them I mean shit like elves, giants, most witches, goblins, gremlins, werewolves, etc.)

Most villages are mixed so both pegasi and unicorns live in them, but there are a few that are unicorn only/pegasus only. Its not really because they hate eachother (they've always gotten along they just weren't always so close.)

Fun fact: Belladona is mute completely, and Lacey is selective mute, but the speices does talk! To most- other than some witches or wizards and most fairys- it sounds like sparkles and glorified jorse noises. (Though if I were to actually make a comic with them, if I have any characters talking it'd be translated to english, obviously.)

Most villages are protected by powerful wizard unicorns and shit that keep predators away, and the villages hidden from the humans n shit, but some are just inside hollowed out old trees n junk.

Elves, Goblins, fairys, nymphs, witches and wizards can all tell when they've come across a hidden pony village, and will most likley either leave a little treasure, or say a thanks/sorry. (Y'know for what the humans did to their ancestors)

If you manage to actually catch a Unicorn- this dosn't count for pegasi- depending on your intentions you will either be granted one wish, or cursed with bad fortune. Its a defence mechanism. Whatever idiots actually try to keep thr Unicorn (because those are the ones that will get cursed) they'll figure the uniorn is bringing bad luck and set it free. They might sell it, but then the process will either repeat, or they'll be set free by whoever baught them. Either way it works.

I've been referring to them as 'tiny' ponies for the entire thing and havn't explained why- whoops. The original ponies are actually very small, like- the size of a baby deer, a doe at the biggest, and thats p rare. Unicorns and pegasi are around the same size, if you don't count the horn as hight. Usually unicorn horns are hella long tho. As are both pony's necks and legs, for honestly no other reason but style. (Of cuorse if you get an adoptable of one or smth you don't have to use it in the same way, but thats how mine are.)

this merge is TEA!!! like honestly i have no idea what i'm gonna do because i actually have so many things i can do in this merge... like i have the choice of realigning with my old tribe or jumping on the other side with some of the others like.... this is exciting!!

MERGE, MOTHEREFFERSSSS. Man, what a time to be alive. Not only did Danielle and Michael survive their tribal, but the original Mercia has now come into the merge with numbers. Beneficial at first, but eventually they all gotta go, haha.

Right now, I'm sitting pretty with two major alliances, both of them have Felix in them as well. The one with Danielle and Michael and the one with Ahrre. Combining these two alliances will be beneficial to me, as well as continuing my social connections with Mo and Tobi. Tobi is a target for me, cuz I know how well liked he can be, so I have to get him before he gets me.

As far as this first immunity challenge, I wanna win to make a statement. I wanna show everyone that I am a fierce competitor in all aspects of the game. And as far as the vote goes, I'm hoping we can get an original Sweyn out. Don't know who yet, but we will have to see based on these challenge results.

Lowkey am nervous, while I dont want to play tribal lines as I think thats boring. I dont want to assume it wont happen. Im in the minority tribe so its something I have to be cautious of. I have to try to branch out to new people and start something soon to put myself into a powerful positon.

Ryan, Jones and Tobi are all good with me from my old tribe. So is Scott from the first tribe. I think this could easily work aswell, as I think Scott is close to ryan and tobi, and maybe if im not mistaken Jones aswell. So this is an easy platform to start from.

However if im honest. I dont think im anyones 1st choice in that allaince. Malik was the only person I knew they had my back. So im going to try to play the line of being inbetween for the first couple of rounds so i can get a solid footing.

So malik is dead and I'm back with all the lads from my og tribe, and I've been getting to know the guys from the other tribe. So scott flipped on Malik last week because it seems that Michael is close to him. Michael already told me David is all about keeping things Mercia strong and he's not feeling it that much, as for me I have no reason to target anyone so I'm gonna lay back and keep my options open.

Unfortunately the I couldn't find the Mercia idol so someone else probably has it I think. However my alliance with Felix and David is still pretty useful because now we're working on getting the merge idol, hopefully we'll get there before anyone else.

As far as the challenge goes the wikipedia search is always fun but I won't try superhard, it might be risky but I would rather be vulnerable these first couple votes instead of making myself a challenge threat.

Ok so I just got off a call with Felix and it seems that everyone is voting for Wes which I’m fine with because it isn’t me. BUT. David was the one who threw Wes’s name out to begin with and as we’ve known previously David dropped my name first the round Jose was eliminated and David also immediately threw my name out to Felix during the puzzle round like “If we go home because of Mo we’re voting him out” meanwhile we were on a team with Wes, him being the only person from another tribe on the second Mercia so we know he’s not loyal. So my concern is that next round unless I’m immune, my name will be the first name he drops. I don’t want that and neither does Felix. So Felix is going to talk to some people about voting David out next round and I’m going to talk to Jones about it. I’m close friends with Jones and I know she won’t talk about our conversation to anyone. So if the plan backfires and someone tells David that we’re trying to backdoor him. They’ll tell him that it was Felix who dropped his name thus he’ll probably want him gone over me. I know that’s shady of me but I’m still allied with him and I wouldn’t betray him but it’s more of a last resort plan ahead of time if that makes sense.

Working together is for sure the smartest option just to get that damned idol two heads are after all better than one so me and Scott are gonna have that idol.
