when gray finds out what happened to gigi he will flip out. obviously savannah will too probably moreso bc like thats her twin but gray is very protective of them both so he'll freak out like crazy

especially once they inevitably put the peices together and realies why kidnapped her, he'll probably want to kill eve (i'd say not actually but i wouldn't be surprised if he genuinely did. i do so like)

i think that both grayson and savannah will like actually refuse to participate further in the grandest game until they find out what happened to her

honestly, it was a very fun and enjoyable game! i liked the serving aspect even tho i kinda sucked at it and like i also really liked Rody and Vince despite all that just happened those two are seriously fucked up and i love them LOLOL

the music was really good and made up for having to redo day 5 over and over again alskdjh i was jamming most of the time to the music the art was also really good! i liked how cute the pixel sprites were, and then like the art for the portraits and CGs and everything was also really good! i really enjoyed the art style and music

the story was interesting, and i liked it too the twist was wild and blew my mind but i am still a massive fan of Vincent x Rody JKDAHSDKJ

i like how there was a cannibalism twist but Vincent wasnt actually like, an actual cannibal he was just insane and planning on making Rody an unknowing cannibal

I wouldn’t do a bar thing if you don’t drink and also for a third date tbh because bars are noisy and not that sexy lol like if you’re trying to talk to someone you don’t know that well but isn’t a total stranger, but what I would do - depending on your living arrangements like obvi it might not be possible - is invite him over to cook dinner with you? It’s always a really cute date right and it shows quite a lot about what he’s like? You can make pizzas or fajitas or something like that which is interactive and fun. And then you’re alone and not in a crowded space and it’s easy to kiss/make out/have sex if you’d like but obviously you don’t HAVE to have sex on date three and no I don’t think it’s a turn off at all tbh. i went to the mall and spent 94 dollars…!!!! we are not financially responsible enough to go out on our own i swear my mother is never going to let me go out ever again after this but she was fine when i spent 150 in a whole day ….. SO ITHINK ITS OK.

i bought food and then a bluelock manga (THE ARYU COVER NOW IM ONLY MISSING THE KUNIGAMI ONE AND THEN WE WAIT FOR WHEN THE OTHER MANGAS ARE AVAILABLE IN MY COUNTRY..) and then i bought more food (bubble tea yummy) and iwas gonna buy a pretzel but i got distracted went into a store and saw chikawa. iwas like woah its that one thing on like every tumblr blog and thought of buying a keychain UNTIL I REMEMBER THAT THIS IS A STORE WHERE EVERYTHING IS 15+ EVEN FOR A TINY KEYCHAIN SO I RAN OUT. and then i was gonna go home but i took the longest route to the terminal so i saw a few more stores and i saw the cutest sleep wear ever so i spent a good 30 mins standing there aggressively comparing the medium and large difference (it had basicallt no difference.) and intensely typing to my mother asking WHICH ONE DO I GET and three workers came by and was like “lady are you ok” and i was like NO. i didnt actuallt say no but i just smiled and was like “yup..!” and sipped on my very empty bubble tea cup.. in the end my mother said medium and dad said medium as well so i bought the medium

after i bought it i was thinking oh i should buy a pretzel or chikawa AND THEN I REALIZED IT WAS 6 PM SO I RAN TO THE TERMINAL CUZ IT WAS GETTING DARK SOON. like i love walks in the dark esp when its winter and its like very chilly and snow gets into ur eyeball and practically makes u blind and ure fighting for your life because the wind hates you and almost trip on a rock + almost miss ur bus 😛😋🤪😜😝 (100% totally didnt happen to me last year… totally…… that random car that saw and laughed never happened either….!!) but baywyas i live in the most weirdest area to the point that its concerning if im EVEN SAFE TO WALK HOME PROPERLY WITHOUT BEING LIKE “AM I GONNA GET ISEKAID AGAIN” OR GET JUMPED BY A RANDOM BIRD like honestly somstimes i wish my parents didnt move to canada so ill live my hashtag philippines life (muehheuheueh octopus is filipino 😈😈 we learn something new everydya) but i also cannot handle extreme heat BUT I CANT EVEN HANDLE THE COLD EITHER WITHOUT GETTING AN ALLERGIC REACTION THAT TAKES 4-5 HOURS TO CALM DOWN. my cold allergy never lets me rest.

It wasn't unusual if you couldn't sleep at night. You weren't a person who needed a lot of sleep. Usually you just lay there and watch your girlfriend sleep. Mina was actually a very strict and disciplined woman and that you could watch her sleep was a privilege.

It was currently 2 a.m. From outside the rain pelted against the window pane of your bedroom, while the bright full moon lit the room pleasantly and you could watch the face of your sleeping girlfriend. And Mina could say what she wanted, but she just looked cute when she slept.

As so often, you braided the few locks of hair that were messy on her pillow and you knew she would probably be upset about it the next morning. Not because her hair would be even more messy than it was every morning anyway, but simply because then she would know that you hadn't slept again.

And while you were playing with her hair that night and watching her face twitch in her sleep because of what she was dreaming, you noticed that it was still not enough. You wanted to see her beautiful eyes, hear her voice, you just wanted her attention. And that's why you decided to wake her up.

"Mina?" You whispered softly, examining her face for any reaction, but nothing happened.

"Baby .." you begged a little louder again.

This time Mina hummed in agreement, still with her eyes closed, but better than nothing.

"Could you wake up for me, please? I'm bored .." you mumbled and put your hand on her cheek to use your thumb to smooth her pale skin. And a few seconds later your girlfriend finally opened her eyes to stare at you tiredly and frowning.

"What time is it?" She asked in a thick voice and grabbed your hand, which was on her cheek.

"2 a.m.."

"And how long have you been up?"

"For an hour? I don't know ..", you muttered and watched Mina roll over on her back and rub her eyes with both hands.

"You should drink less coffee, princess ..", she finally said and of course she couldn't see how you rolled your eyes.

"So what do we do now?" She asked as she turned back to you.

"Then let me think for a moment ..", Mina sighed and actually seemed to be thinking hard about what she could tell you. And again you couldn't help but find her incredibly cute when she stared intently into your eyes and chewed on her lower lip.

"So .." she finally started and you had to smile.

"So?" You repeated.

"I have no idea if that's what you think of as something 'beautiful', but did I tell you about how I fell in love with my doctor when I was 16?" She asked with a wry smile and you shook quickly the head.

"No, but I want to hear it .."

"Well ..", she started and pulled the covers a little further over her shoulders. "As you know, I have been to various doctors because of my scoliosis and when I was 16, I got a new doctor and she was really hot .."

"Is that a kink?" You asked with a grin and she rolled her eyes.

"That's ridiculous .. I think I just liked her because she was the first doctor who was nice to me .." Mina explained and looked at you thoughtfully.

"Define 'nice"

"Well, she asked, if she hurts me when she examined me or something like that.."

"But that's more sad than beautiful .." you moaned and started to play with the hem of your duvet.

"As I said, she also looked good .." Mina added and you had to laugh.

"Nice and good-looking? You don't have many expectations, Mina .."

"Thats it? That wasn't that beautiful now .." you said and looked at her disappointed. Mina just sighed and closed her eyes again.

For a moment there was silence between the two of you, and while you focused on not hurting her in any way, you were afraid that she might fall asleep again. You suddenly felt bad about waking her up. Mina would never be angry with you about it, but it was somehow selfish of you to disturb her sleep just because you hadn't been able to sleep.

"It's getting more and more common, don't you agree?", Mina suddenly asked and refuted your fear that she had fallen asleep.

"What do you mean?", You replied confused when you started to divide her hair into three equal strands.

"I wake up more often in the morning with braided locks in my hair ..".

"If it bothers you, I can do something else to pass the time at night ..".

"How about sleeping?" Mina interjected.

"Not funny .." you growled and started to braid her hair.

"Is it a physical or a psychological problem that you cannot sleep? Maybe you should see a doctor ...".

"Maybe that's not a bad idea .." you muttered as you pulled the elastic off the stalk of the hairbrush and wrapped it around the end of the pigtail.

"Or it is really because you're drinking too much coffee .." she teased you.

"It's unfair, you drink a lot more coffee than I do .." you moaned.

You leaned over to place the brush back on the bedside table, before climbing back onto your side of the bed and curling up in her blanket.

I’ve always been here! Just not in kpop tumblr. I’ve since deleted my old accounts and shame  but i came back to write. It’s always been so stress-relieving to me, to write without any expectations on my back because I’m thinking about grades or a competition. are you happy with where you are in life right now? why or why not?

Yes. I may not be the richest or the prettiest, or smartest or whatever, but I have a good family that loves me. I have good friends that support me and I have TXT and BTS to help me cope when things get overwhelming. I have a job that gives me a little bit of income (it’s not too common for college students here to get jobs like in the US, most of them just focus on acads) and all the means to continue my education amidst the pandemic. So really, I’m grateful for where I am now.

S3 E12: Born This Way.

Episode description: Dr. Manning and Dr. Choi are faced with a tough decision.

Literally when are they not.

Okay, last episode ended with the first Ava/Connor kiss, so this episode should be a rollercoaster of emotions.

let’s get into it.

- okay, already we’re starting in connor’s apartment, so cue ava walking in bc they slept together?

- i think its hilarious that her casual clothing is.. a flannel. like lmao idk

- it is so unbelievably funny and stupid to have a one night stand with someone you work closely with. i mean come on

- never forget that dr. ava bekker has a fish tank

- this is exhausting. the tentative back and forth is so fucking exhausting

- another bit of evidence. ava is never not confident, and especially not to this extent, and she never follows connor’s lead. so, the fact that she is standing back and waiting for him to make the decision? stupid.

- it screams that she is having a moment of anxiety, which is why she isn’t up to make the decisions in the exchange.

-to be clear: what i’m claiming here is that the only reason ava actually got with connor was bc she was having a moment of anxiety because he was the only person she had built a relationship with after living in this city for six months.

- when connor says that he has plans you can see her fold in on herself. this stems from a place of anxiety

- remember when they did surgery on the panda? that’s when the show peaked

- ava in her lab coat will never not get me. especially with the gloves, running towards a patient (very hot)

- connor still looks kinda looks like a mess but ava is immaculate here like what dude out of your league

- ava asking the family questions (ik this is standard doctor stuff but showing worry, interest, all that jazz)

- okay, see here! here! ava calls connor out, saying that his procedure is too invasive. before, ava’s procedures where invasive, which everyone used as evidence to her being super cold, but now, we see that she purely does what she deems best for the patient at hand

- also, once again, the concern ava feels. you can hear it in her voice. we forget this part of her way too often

- the smile on ava’s face when she gives the family good news. god wept

- and then more concern when connor tells her they need to put him on ecmo

- the reason that ava is frustrated that connor didn’t go with her decision for their patient care is because she truly believes that if they don’t go with her treatment, he will die. don’t make it anything different. don’t argue she’s frustrated because he’s not listening to her. don’t make it anything about their relationship. she puts their patients care first and foremost

- there’s a stark shift in her demeanor when in the room with the parents vs. her alone with connor. in the room, you can see she’s stewing. she’s sucking on her teeth, she’s holding her emotions. she has control, she’s a professional. out of the room, she has full reign to be as mad with connor as she wants, which she does.

-AVA RAN INTO THE ROOM AGAIN WITH THE LAB COAT AND GLOVES AND IDK IT JUST HAS ME FEELING SOME KINDA WAY

- the way ava acknowledges everyone in the room (the nurse just informed them that the drug was running, ava nodded. just a little thing but yk)

- ava shaking her head at this sad, sad man (connor, who is floundering for a solution and misplacing his anger)

- their entire relationship is misplaced anger

- the fact that the last shot of the scene has connor in the foreground looking over the bed and ava watching from the door but ava is the one in focus - some cool cinematography points

- this is also the legendary scene where she comforts the family. there’s not a lot that i haven’t already said. this is the scene that most exemplifies ava’s humanity, the way she seems to feel, at least residually, what these parents are going through (since she obviously hasn’t gone through anything like this herself [unless.]). the way she kneels down, and gets on the family’s personal level.

- I... okay listen. I absolutely HATE the parallel they pull her between the line “I believe whenever you do something out of love, it can never really be wrong” and connor. especially because they show him when she says that line. and yeah, there’s obviously a connection that can be drawn between the meaning of that line and her sociopathic behavior in s4 and s5.

- it honestly feels like when writing s4, the writers hit so much of a wall they just googled the most ‘iconic’ ava moments and thought ‘how can i use these in the worst way possible?’ That’s honestly probably what they did (ava’s first interaction with connor - ‘you better watch yourself,’ this moment). There is no nuance to her character in s4. it is astoundingly terrible.

- THE WAY CONNOR LOOKS AT AVA HER MAKES ME FUCKING SCARED. HE HAS NO EMOTION ON HIS FACE. I know that we’ve been screen capping ava throughout this series but can someone find pictures of connor looking at ava bc, i need yall to remember how weird he looks

- like, no shade to connor, but just the emotion is undecipherable, but it is in no way a good one

- ava getting concerned (and looking slightly embarrassed) when she sees connor watching her by the door. obviously yeah she’s gonna feel weird you just caught her in a very uncharacteristic moment, outwardly expressing comfort. fucking back off

- i am so fucking protective of her and i demand he no longer look at her. it’s banned

- sam abrams looking at sarah’s dad’s head ct and asking if he’s a criminal. oh boy 

- from a writer’s perspective, the storyline with sarah’s dad is actually pretty good

- ava ran into the room with gloves and lab coat again, if anybody wanted to know

- for the record, want it to be noted, ava was the one who realized that it was an issue with the machine again, so you could say she fixed connor’s mistake, again. so.

- connor making a big deal about handing the reins over to ava (if he really was selfless he wouldn’t have made a whole big thing, he still has an enormous hero complex)

- handing off control was very hard for him. boo hoo get some fucking humility I think they sell it at walgreens

- sarah fucking walking across the ed like she’s going to war. dramatic

- med really said pedophiles deserve rights with this ep huh

- the way ava smiles

- the way she smiles when she turns him down. CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT? SHE TURNED HIM DOWN. in the aspect of the story i cannot remember why she turned him down, but hey, i’m happy

- and it only further proves my story that the hook up came from a place of anxiety, and this is her realizing how silly that decision was. and her smiling was her laughing at herself for making such a stupid decision

- ALSO. LET’S TALK ABOUT THE FACT THAT THIS DECISION, THE DECISION TO TURN HIM DOWN, HAPPENED IN THE SAME EPISODE WHERE SHE SAID ‘IF YOU DO SOMETHING FOR LOVE, IT’S NEVER REALLY WRONG’

- like she literally says ‘last night was a mistake.’

- honestly, it’s fucking hilarious. connor deserves nothing

- and the confusion on his face when she walks away. hilarious

- if you wanted to take this the reesker route you could argue that the idea of ‘a decision of love’ was ava coming to terms with her slight little crush, though i don’t know how clean it would be if you argue that she panicked and told herself those were feelings meant for connor. idk, i’ll have to think about it further

- watching sarah let herself be betrayed by both herself and the people around in the story surrounding her dad will never not be hard to watch

This was a very good episode, character wise, for all the reasons stated above. It just hammers home the point of how strong a character Ava was. Key word, of course, being ‘was’. My conclusion over the last two episodes is that this specific sexual encounter with Connor was born out of a moment of anxiety from Ava. I suggest that over that last few weeks or days she has been experiencing some amount of anxiety out of having been living in Chicago for six months and only having one interpersonal relationship. So, that idea kind of built where she told herself the reason she only had one relationship was because she was in love with him. Then. after going through the story with this kid and comforting his parents, she realizes that she never actually loved Connor and maybe has a thing for someone else. I’m glad that I keep coming up with more ideas for this character, I was afraid the initial theory was somewhat of a one-off, but this only proves the idea of the complexity to Ava’s character.

I’m sure it’ll get worse from here, though.

You’d met Morgan at a bar after the Leafs had playing the Rangers. You were out with a couple friends at a bar after getting dinner at some drive thru and eating and laughing at a viewpoint that your group loved. In had come a group of men, not one under 6’0. You hated yourself for recognizing them immediately. Growing up watching most professional sports caused you to recognize prospects and players of each of them, and to be specifically able to recognize the build of each type of athlete.

You’d locked eyes with Morgan across the room, and a smirk had pulled at his lips when he saw the Rangers hoodie that you were wearing, along with gray ripped jeans. You and your friends had dressed comfortable, not looking to get all dressed up for anyone. All of you were wearing jeans or leggings, and hoodies.

“What’s up, Y/N? You good?” your friend Justine nudges you, dragging your eyes back to her.

You lean in to her so she can hear your next words. “Hockey players,” you murmur. “From Toronto.” Your friend wrinkles her nose in disgust. You’d all grown up together, diehard fans of your city’s teams. The two of you look back over at the group, who had now dragged two tables together to fit everyone. You catch Morgan’s eye again, and this time he smiles wickedly, swiping his tongue along his bottom lip and dragging his eyes up and down your figure.

“That one looks like he wants to fuck you in his car.” You let out a burst of laughter at her words, though you know she’s not exactly wrong. “That’s the captain isn’t it? Morgan Rielly?” You only nod in response, not breaking eye contact with him - a challenge. He beckons for you to come over there, but you only sneer at him, turning back to the conversation at the table.

It isn't long until you can feel a presence at your back. “Hi,” comes a deep rumbling from behind you. You turn to look up at him.

“Morgan Rielly,” you say shortly. Your girls have gone quiet, watching the interaction with wide eyes.

“Hot Rangers fan,” he responds, the teasing in his tone clear.

“Good game, Cap” Justine chirps, the disdain clear in her voice. Morgan’s face breaks out into a wide smile. The game had gone into a shootout, the Leafs coming out on top by only one goal.

“Thank you!” he says cheerfully, grinning at the compliment even at Justine’s passive aggressiveness. “It was tough and we both played well.” Justine rolls her eyes, clicking her tongue at you and raising her eyebrows. You do the same back to her, a smirk playing at your lips. After the interaction between you and Justine, the other girls seem to catch on. The 6 of you were all athletes and had used clicking your tongue as a way to communicate that you were feeling some type of way about someone, something, or the opposing team since high school. It was you, Justine, Aly, Lauren, Jalin, and Deja.

“That's pretty bold of you,” you say.

“Oh yeah?” Morgan challenges, “Why’s that?”

“You’re in Ranger’s territory-” Justine sneers.

“-you’re definitely out of your element-” Aly continues.

“-with a big ass ego flirting with our girl here-” Jalin hums.

“-and we’re pretty obviously Rangers fans-” Lauren says.

“-after a pretty tough loss,” Deja quips. “So maybe that’s where all your confidence is coming from but-”

“-this is our hood,” you finish. “And you’re playing a dangerous game.”

“We’re just on the same wavelength,” you grin at your friends, and they all smile back at you and smirk at Morgan.

“One drink?” Morgan wagers, “If you decide that you can’t handle my stupidly handsome and talented self, then you’re welcome to leave me wherever I am.”

“One drink,” you say, nudging Justine with your elbow as you stand. Morgan’s hand on your back feels hot, even through multiple layers as he leads you to the bar. You raise an eyebrow when he pulls a stool out for you, and he simply shrugs, giving you a small smile that almost seems...shy.

Morgan was a lot more fun than you had been expecting, he made you laugh until you were in tears. But he also made you shudder when he looked at you, eyes gone dark. Your stomach knotted itself, the low ache of arousal in your core making it difficult to focus on what he was saying.

“I know Dej, I love you guys, but I’ll be okay.” After assuring your friends that you’d be alright, multiple times, you ended the call, placing your hands on your hips and surveying the boxes piled up in your new apartment. You’d avoided thinking about Morgan for weeks, since you got the offer for a promotion, but now he’d snuck back into your head. You shook your head to clear thoughts of running into him here, pulling on a Rangers hoodie and grabbing your keys. Besides, it wasn't like there was anything you could do about it, you didn't even have his number.
