You weren't specific with a fandom so I'll just ramble abt the general stuff of the ones I can remember rn,,, this will likely be alot

Madoka magica, the human witches(idk if I can call them ocs but ehhh) are a bit self-explanatory, I haven't actually fully figured out a story though, they're just humanized versions of the holy quintets witches that find themselves in present time

Creatures of Sonaria, my oc-universe and story is the most fleshed out ig for this fandom- chapter one is based around the events and happening that all lead up towards the defeat of the void god who desired to consume the universe, and there are multiple different endings to the first part,,, I haven't figured out the next chapter

Rain world, all of my stuff for this fandom is a huge wip and I'm still working on the general timeline even(and im a lil scared to talk abt them)- I consider my oc stuff au because it probably wouldn't make any sense in whats there in canon rw, but for my ancient lady- best I can give you rn is that she's an ancient who did not wish to die, rather, wanted eternity and preservation so she experimented with the possibility of an iterator that could completely repair themselves when needed and didn't require as much resources but could still do as much as the others- with how the giant supercomputers seemingly fucked up the world's cycles but idrk, her first even slightly successful attempt was that white iterator I've shown(no name yet) but she could hardly consider them a success with how she could just barely do her purpose(she got better at moving around and repairing herself but creator stopped caring and left before that) and only had a slight decrease in resources needed. Ancient lady moved on and started making an "iterator" that didn't even have a structure eventually resulting in the creation of Terror after who knows how many attempts

I'll talk a bit about a couple of my favorite ocs, but it's mostly creatures of sonaria

Technically the same person, my favorite out of all my characters- Lorcan and Faolán! Humans and things on earth get thrown into sonaria via getting snatched by the void(lor arriving was an accident).... I'm not too sure how to explain the full story atm, but mentally unstable child eventually becomes god and rewrites the universe- then creates a puppet body to exist in the world again, that puppet being Faolán

(Size of humans are also alot bigger than the game, regular angelic wardens are around 7 ft to them)

Second fav, td! A creation of the void who escaped the god's rule and rebelled. Mf basically went on a whole ahh journey to gain the ability to heal others after his adoptive mother got murdered and got well over 10x the trauma along the way. Atleast he gets an actually good boyfriend in present time?

Ami, a girl from the same forgotten town as lorcan- she's one of the closest people to him! Kinda, they grew up together but started to drift apart. What happens with her really depends on the timeline

so, the thing about the megaflora in boscage is that, even though it’s incredibly strong, it’s not particularly smart. they’re plants after all, and so their “thoughts” mainly just consist of violence in service to obtaining food, and violence for the sake of violence. that changes when shadow shows up though.

through their shared black arms dna, the plants are able to connect with him, and they start poking around inside his brain. they see all his thoughts, all his memories, learn what he learns, know what he knows… and suddenly, the megaflora is extremely smart. smart enough to realize that having a mobile unit, not tethered to roots, and with a mouth that can speak for the collective, would be beneficial. so they smother shadow into submission. there’s just too many of them to hold back, once they decide they want him.

once he’s assimilated, they continue to learn more from him, and one thing in particular stands out: the creation of their world. through the eyes of shadow’s memory, they see sonic shatter the paradox prism, and thus, create boscage maze, and therefore the megaflora themselves. this leads the megaflora to the conclusion that their true creator is not gerald, the loathsome traitor who abandoned them, left them to starve, and now seeks to destroy them with project halcyon, but instead sonic.

the megaflora get a sort of reverence for him… “shadow” tells sonic that he forgives him for shattering the prism. tells him it was a good thing, actually. and that’s when sonic starts to clue into something being seriously wrong. frankly, he liked it more when shadow was upset with him... because at least that was really him :(

working at a grocery store has only made me even angrier about inflation and how food, water, and shelter isnt free

like just looking at groceries (not water or shelter) i see just a few bags (maybe around 5 or so) of food costing over $125 USD regularly. I've seen orders upwards of $600. and sure those have been bigger orders but no food should cost that much.

my coworkers and i shouldn't be complaining about the price of food when we get employee discounts.

a single bag of food for myself (usually containing some small pizzas, crackers, milk, and cereal) regularly costs between $50-60. minimum wage in my state is 15/HR. thats about four hours of work for one bag of food

a coworker who works on the front end of our store prides herself on being able to catch theives. everyone says how good she is at it. and sometimes it makes sense, sometimes people are just stealing to steal. but how do you ever know?

when the card reader we take outside is broken we are supposed to have the customers come inside to pay for their groceries if they're paying with EBT. there's a woman who's a regular who has a few small children and when she comes to pick up groceries they're usually asleep in the car.

am i supposed to make her choose between leaving her children alone in the car or waking them up and taking them inside?

it’s a nerve wracking sensation when you type out the text, more so when you press ‘send.’ (“do you have time to talk? it’s urgent.”) while you were initially set on one decision about the newfound knowledge of what was happening with your body, you felt it was only right to reach out to the other person responsible for this change.

sylus responds to your urgency with a phone call, and you don’t sugarcoat a thing. you don’t give him time to finish greeting you with that grating lilt of his smooth voice.

“missing me al—” “i’m pregnant.”

it’s funny how quickly he leaves the n109 zone, to be by your side in linkon city. no matter the feelings you had before, and no matter the mystery of what you two saw each other as after you mission wrapped up, you’re grateful he’s made it a priority to be with you in this moment. a reminder that his good graces always surrounded being at your side in an instant whenever you called.

you didn’t realize how much you needed him, needed someone, until you’re both sitting down in your living room and talking about everything in depth. in short, sylus supports you with whatever choice you settle on. but as he begins to explain the logistics of aftercare following an abortion, talking about doctors and clinics he knows of… you find yourself feeling oddly emotional.

despite the shared feeling that neither of you sought out the ambition to have children, you see yourself with sylus, raising a powerful, compassionate soul. a being that would be so precious and dear to the both of you. someone who would hold a piece of you, a piece of him. in your lost thoughts, you don’t recognize the slow onslaught of tears that fills up in your eyes, and it’s sylus’ touch brushing against your cheek to catch the droplets before they fall entirely.
