What piece of flesh do you think each Divine Warrior (other than Irene and Shad) sacrificed for godhood?

I have some guesses but I feel like you, the cannibal coniseur, have a better understanding.

Menphia - Her tail, as a meif'wa it is both her pride and joy and something used to keep balance.

Enki - His left ring finger. Magick is all in the hands so removing a finger is the same way as losing a wand. Can possibly limit control?

Esmund - At a loss, though maybe simply losing his humanity to become a God is enough for him? Maybe one of his kidneys.

TW, cannibalism. also, castration.

it really depends on WHO becomes patron of their godhood. I have answers for Shad and Irene, but not so much for gods outside of them two. it doesn't just depend on the ascending, but also their patron. And there are other gods.

With Irene as their Patron:

Menphia, the tail does work very well. It's an incredibly important aspect of how Mei'fwa move, and a big part of their identity. As a warrior, menphia would rely a lot on movement, and Irene would love to just... make that a little harder for her.

Enki, I think something a little more personal. Something that still impacts his magic, but is slightly more... invasive. Some brain matter, perhaps? A human can survive with only one hemisphere of their brain, and even learn to exist the exact same way they did before... but Irene would certainly love to watch him try and adjust to missing such a large part of his hippocampus.

Esmund, Loss of humanity, hm? Irene is a sucker for a metaphor. Whilst she isn't as centred on heart-consumption as Avra, why not indulge in a little bit of poetics? The Protector, who desires to retain his humanity, being literally heartless? That's amusing. maybe not my most creative idea, but... hm.

With Shad as their Patron:

Menphia, the tail thing probably wouldn't work. Shad is very centred on wanting to be able to exist as he is, he wouldn't go ahead and remove a notable non-human trait from someone. If she sacrifices it with Shad as her patron, that was a self-made decision. Shad also wouldn't eat her eyes, though, due to... meif'wa cat eyes and all. He'd settle for a thumb, perhaps. Giving up her ability to punch or hold a weapon in one hand, so that she may have a better ability to do as such in the other.

Enki, going along with the finger trend, yeah, he'd be the one to take Enki's finger. Shad is not overly cruel with his sacrifices, but he does know they need to have an impact. He prefers extremities to internal guts, when it comes to his friends at least.

Esmund, wouldn't have Shad as his patron, idk what to tell you. They don't mesh well, for a number of reasons, and Irene would prefer to keep Esmund. Who better to patron the Protector than the faux-sweet child-murderer? so... nothing.

HOWEVER--

(since i have Xavier in my divine warriors in LR, and he was the original SK)

whilst shad wouldn't Patron Xavier's godhood (considering Xavier being a sort of paladin type, sworn to a god - Irene - but not one himself), he would make a bit of a joke about being the Patron to Xavier's knighthood. He would ensure that the sacrifice would keep in line with a knight's most valuable vow... his vow of celibacy.

Oh boy. I feel like a lot of these will end up looking very similar because I ship a lot of them with each other so let's go

Skadidididididi

NOTP: Skadi x Ulpianus. Ulpianus is a clown and does not deserve romance.

BROTP: Skadi x Grani. Skadidi needs a friend and they were cute together in Grani's event.

OTP: Skadi x Specter. God, they're so good. They've been through so much together, and Skadi was so caring and attentive when Specter was being treated at Rhodes Island. Also, Specter's Outstanding durability means she's one of the few people Skadi can top without risk of injury.

Second choice pairing: Skadi x Doctor. Skadi's operator files indicate that she's a bit sweet on Doc, to say nothing of... the entirety of the Corrupting Heart. I think it'd be really cute to watch Skadi struggle to admit she cares for this fragile land-dweller and then finally allow herself to be close to someone and then dote on and be so very gentle with her easily-breakable wife/malewife (as applicable).

Fluffy pairing: Skadi x Doctor, Skadi x Grani. They would be so sweet together.

Angsty pairing: Skadi x Specter. Oh, there is so much potential for pain with these two.

Favorite poly ship: Skadi x Specter x Gladiia, Skadi x Specter x Gladiia x Doctor, Skadi x Specter x Gladiia x Irene. My reading on the Abyssal Hunters is that they aren't strictly monogamous (see: Specter's yuri moments with both Skadi and Irene and Skadi's simultaneous crush on the Doctor and yuri moments with Specter), and so I actually like Abyssal Hunter polycules more than 2-person ships. Love the thought of the three surviving Hunters finding solace in each other's arms on land.

Adding Doctor to the mix is super funny to me because all three of them express some level of regard for them (Skadi is pretty obviously crushing a bit, Gladiia invites them to dance and is rude to them when it's specifically noted that she saves politeness for the people she doesn't like, and even Specter likes to playfully tease them and Irene is a seagull, but she can still be stuffed like a turkey if she tries really hard and believes in herself.

Weirdest pairing: Skadi x Mudrock. Each of them is a bit of a space cadet, and Mudrock's shield passive means that as long as Skadi goes real slow, she can top Mudrock without harm.

Specter the Unhinged

NOTP: Specter x Amaia. Keep your filthy Seaborn-worshipping hands off my girl.

BROTP: Absolutely love the idea of Specter becoming Bros with the other brawlers/troublemakers at Rhodes Island. She probably hangs out at the bar/gym/etc. with Indra, Gavial, Lappland, and other people who cause problems on purpose.

OTP: Specter x Skadi. See above.

Second choice pairing: Specter x Irene, Specter x Doctor. Irene deserves to get railed and they had a bunch of Yuri Moments in Stultifera Navis and Specter does seem to have genuine regard for the Doctor, both promising to protect them and expressing a desire to share her home and its culture with them and lamenting that there are aspects of it they're incapable of understanding

Fluffy pairing: I feel like it's hard to do truly fluffy with Specter because she's too much of a brat, but Specter x Skadi and Specter x Irene could probably manage it.

Angsty pairing: Specter x Skadi. See above.

Favorite poly ship: Skadi x Specter x Gladiia, Skadi x Specter x Gladiia x Doctor, Skadi x Specter x Gladiia x Irene. See above.

NOTP: Gladiia x Kal'tsit. This is, honestly, an excellent pairing with a lot going for it, but I do not like Kal'tsit.

BROTP: Gladiia x Blemishine. Idk, I just really like the idea of Jaded Supersoldier Science Lady Gladiia taking this young, peppy engineering nerd under her wing.

OTP: Gladiia x Doctor. It would be Gladiia x Kal'tsit if I liked Kal'tsit because I do think the setup and chemistry is really good, but alas. That said, Doc x Gladiia has a decent foundation to it, what with the way Gladiia asks Doctor to dance with her and is generally somewhat abrupt and impolite with them when her files note that she reserves her manners for people she doesn't much care for. I feel like there's a good opportunity to bond over the nature of power and responsibility and leadership. Late nights discussing tactics or playing chess together that become something more? Yes, please.

Second choice pairing: Gladiia x Specter. Gladiia shows so much care for Specter, and somebody's gotta punish this bratty little shark.

Fluffy pairing: I'm not convinced Gladiia does fluffy, but I think Gladiia x Doc has some potential, given the talk line where she offers to teach the Doctor how to dance.

Angsty pairing: I feel like every Gladiia pairing is inherently angsty but I'll pick Gladiia x Ulpianus here because their interactions in Stultifera Navis get both funnier and more tragic if they yearn to explore each other's bodies.

I know you did not ask and you can ignore if you like but whenever I see Garroth’s Betrayal Sucks I feel contractually obligated to speak on what I make it in my head because I hate that pat so fucking much and of it wasnt so intrinsically tied to the time skip I would burn it to the ground

I make it an Aphmau’s Fault Too thing. Garroth being the loyal guard he is tells Aphmau about someone trying to indoctrinate him and Aphmau just says. “We can use this.” and so a double cross plot is born but Aphmau never pulls the plug even as it gets more and more apparent they cannot make this work because everything has always worked out for her before even when she goes against peoples advice, and despite Garroth insisting they should stop he doesn’t disobey his lord, until it’s already too late of course.

That solves the “Well why wasn’t any blame placed onto Garroth?” issue as well as really adds to and clears up Aphmau’s desperation to bring him home.

It also makes Aphmau missing her children’s childhoods and her village crumbling partially her own fault, the consequences do not fit the crime but to me when it’s something that big and Aphmau being such a “Makes things happen” character it should be her own fault in some way.

(this also of course breaks Garroth’s trust in Aphmau, because he thought they were friends but she ignored every concern and let him be sworn into the Jury of Nine, an establishment she knows he detests)

I completely didn’t think about it that way (probably the Laurmau bias 😰) but I definitely see that this works a whole lot better than the shithole that part is, especially the part where Garroth asks about the pendant and,, (I literally paused for a whole minute I forgot what happened) ok so I may be wrong but originally aphmau refused to tell Garroth about the pendants location however after the war she finally tells him that laurance has is. Considering she knew Garroth wasn’t himself and Ofc later finding out that Garroth immediately went and stole the pendant, that would definitely point guilt onto aphmau, also like girl he’s been “sick” and been looked after by a random stranger who walks in also was it cadenza who told Lillian abt Garroth istg first Zane about laurance now this ANYWAYS especially when tensions are high in the village and there is a traitor would you not hold slightly more concern?? I hate this part can we just idk make up a different reason they go to the Irene dimension 😭. Anyways I’m not 100% abt the indoctrination however there is absolutely mistrust between Garroth and aphmau which is completely their own faults in different ways, ultimately I think it’s Zane’s fault, and if I could completely remove that part I would but alas we have to fix everything in this series.

TLDR I think in my very future rewrite the betrayal arc will turn into a oh no he’s manipulated and under a spell arc (smth like that ig) basically keep the good (needed) parts (the time skip and relic absorption) and ditch the bad (the complete butcher of Garroth)

Tempted to write out Aaron but I guess he needs to be in to get Garroth out 🙄 or we can use aphmaus Irene powers or smth

Something I don't notice people talking about but I think about way too often like probably more often than is healthy is the fact that Aphmau is immortal. Because Irene was immortal.

There is going to be a point, long into the future, but still inevitable, where all of her friends are going to die. There is going to be a point when one of her closest friends who she has adventured with for decades dies in battle or from sickness or just any cause of death really. And then another will die. And another. As they get older and the risk of death gets higher. But Aphmau? No, she's going to be alive throughout ALL of this and a lot longer.

She'd get more and more desperate to protect her loved ones as they slowly die out, until eventually, she's left alone. Yeah sure maybe she can go make new friends, but it wont be the same. She'd just been seen as a goddess to everyone. She has years upon years upon years if experience in life now. And she knows, even if she made new friends, found new loved ones, that they'd also die eventually.

Like idk I see some people talk about something like this with Mystreet or like AUs where she already knows she's immortal or stuff like that (IF the topic of her immortality is brought up at all). But I've never really seen anyone talk about the middle between Mystreet and what we know of MCD. How immortality will effect the future of MCD even before Mystreet.

i have to preorder chuu's sgb it's SO CUTE i need to get it again. the cake theme was made for me. i have to preorder yves' new album too but if i preorder it from the same place as chuu's sgb it won't ship out until early december OTL so i'm gonna have to get it from ktown. obvs i'm getting the set! for the pobs! she's so cute i need her,, i'll order irene's album at the same time, too, i can wait for them even though it might be another 'sent out in december' set :thinking: i have to double-check the dates on them. if they're close enough i might just get all 3 from ktown (unless the sgb is only from everline).

i've kinda gotten into the pocalbums/smaller album types that focus on less packaging. idk every company calls them something different but you know, the little ones! so i might get a few more for older albums i liked but don't have enough actual space for + i already own the CD. i don't trust apps enough to ONLY buy a 'digital' copy of the music. so i do need to buy tzuyu's digipack at some point before it leaves my work lol but yeah!

hm, i preordered twice's next album from my work but that's not gonna be for another month so it's whatever. i like all the versions that got announced! so whichever ones my work stocks i'll pick up a couple but i'm not gonna exceed my maximum of 5 types per comeback lol i do NOT actually need that many CDs.

Okay so I think I'm pretty solid on my Katelyn backstory for my rewrite so I figured I'd share it. I say pretty solid and I'll probably edit it or do something funky with it in like a week but here you go

I was really torn on wether or not I wanted to give Katelyn the menphia relic and I'm still not positive about it but here's what I've got so far. Okay so this really out there and all that but it ties Elizabeth with hyria and the Demon Warlock so I think it's pretty cool

Liz in my rewrite is a witch that trained under Hyria during the times of Irene, something idk the full thing yet but Irene was looking for people to wield her newly made relics and because Liz was the apprentice of hyria she was top of that list, but because she was friends with Micheal/the demon warlock she wasn't given the relic and instead it was menphia. some tai lung and master shifu type shit breaks out, her and hyria get into this big fight about how Elizabeth didn't deserve the relic and it's this whole big thing

This is the event that broke the relic that was used for the jury, this is also how Liz was put into the other dimension with her ally Micheal

Years later something happened that reopened the portal, I haven't decided what yet, but Liz and Micheal are free they go and cause some chaos, this is where Travis and Katelyn come into play. They still don't meet until season two, but their stories are somewhat similar

Katelyn is Elizabeth's attempt at making the perfect host for the relic, the training until her bones broke and all that, the constant use of fire magic that burned her from the inside out kind of stuff. It never happens, hyria finds out about the Katelyn training and the magic experiments and fights liz again, this time putting her in the hands of the elves so they can keep an eye on her and keep her away from her children

Katelyn is sent to her father but stuff happens Liz escapes and goes after Katelyn again, the house gets burned down, Liz wants to fill Katelyn with rage a fire her own harsh training hasn't been able to do, to help her wield the fury relic, she sets the house on fire effectively killing everyone and making Katelyn believe it was all her fault and all that, really just giving this kid more trauma then what she needs

(later you find out Kasey's alive and working for the king of tula but that's not until season three)

Garte was already sent a letter by Erik to ask to train Katelyn to use her magic for good (this is before he gets manipulated by shad and Zane). This is also how Katelyn ends up in okhasis and this is the start of the jury trials, I also wanted her to know garroth and the romeave brothers before the events of season one, she doesn't know them well but at least they've interacted

I want her being a compatible relic holder to be a big plot point, she was trained from a very young age to be it's keeper but that just makes her not want to use it, it's this whole thing and I haven't made up my mind if I want her to use the relic or not yet, so yeah. I'm currently leaning towards Lucinda wielding the relic as of right now

ok back on this point since i think i can make an okay thread on this now....

so ive mentioned the update about angel moving schools very early into elementary. tbh i dont have any idea for where specifically he went but it wasnt a very major move ig? (like this is all in the same state and like. city 👍)

and that isnt like very important on its own ig. like he was a pretty normal kid those first 2 yrs. like hes always been quiet and kinda shy but like. hes literally just 5 years old its ok. probably did have 1 friend or person he hung around with but the bond wasnt so strong since everyone kinda just knew each other or yk

but then jonah came along. and idrk what happened but basically they moved and ines n jonah were part of his family even more than before. or something. anyway yk. new school. hes like still shy and even more so cuz hes going to a new school. but its not bad. he would have a friend in 1st grade eventually but they split up. same thing happened in 2nd grade. either cuz of switching schools or being held back. but idk it was cool he didnt totally fit in but also he was still included enough and had someone to play with

but then 3rd grade is where it got like. Bad. he had no friends. something weird was going on with his ability to stay awake and focused. which didnt help at all when he started to struggle with what they were learning in class. so idk like it was just Not his year. like yk it wasnt Super Mega Ultra bad like suddenly he cant stay up for more than a few minutes or anything but you could definitely tell smth was up. at first it was like kinda chalked up to be some kind of early bloomer thing. like some kind of shift with how much sleep he needs or smth. which like was alr. but the focus and struggling was different. he would ask his mom for help at home obvie but when she would recommend asking his teacher for help as well instead of waiting he would just nod along but like. not do that anyway whether it be cuz he was too anxious to or he just like. forgot that was an option in the moment ig. not rlly helping that he also feels like. bad about how hes doing yet cant figure out whats wrong with him [this is when his interest in drawing kinda kicks off cuz he doesnt rlly care for reading but he does want to make some kind of thing to be there for him when he needs cheering up or distraction]

anyway yeah that happens and nothings rlly improving and his teacher eventually is like yeah no hes just not showing a very good grasp on anything etc etc id recommend he repeat the grade. which is like very shocking to irene cuz she didnt think it was That bad. but anyway she takes this in2 consideration. and like she has this conversation with angel about what hes been goin thru n how he shouldve said more about it and whatever. so he finds out abt how he'll be redoing 3rd grade and hes like so sad. and like idk that happens. then irenes like also were gonna do a sleep study 2 c if like that can tell us anything

which it like. totally does and turns out hes hashtag narcoleptic. n yeah idk. except irenes too like idk. afraid to get him on any kinda meds since hes so young so they just like work on managing his sleep schedule n stuff n like figuring out ways to keep him not so distracted n everything esp for when school rolls around again

[i should also mention those symptoms from his adhd are like kinda just thought to be from his narcolepsy? like oh you cant focus in class. its cuz youre tired i bet. your hand eye coordination isnt that good. its probably cuz your brain is too tired to work properly like that. idk. like it kinda works out since hea got the less active side of adhd]

so then yeahh it does and angels like. stressed out cuz hes gotta get used to new people and like doing everything over again. but also hes gotta lock in. which is kinda hard when you think about that first bit again. but anyway yeah

the first few days are like whatever. cuz you dont rlly do any type of work anyway since its. the first few days. but idk he still doesnt talk to people that much cuz he isnt sure how to insert himself into conversations or friend groups. or when he Does try to say hi it never goes that far and he ends up sidelined by people. so he just kinda stays alone still. which is like. fine ig. like great. but like eventually he does get tired of it and hes like so sad. like it finally sets in ig. hes like alone somewhere at recess and he kinda just has a tiny crying session (which gabby happens to see but also shes busy playing with her friends and like doesnt wanna make anything awkward or make a scene so she just like leaves him be. however this bit onwards she totally does have him like under her eye. like its not rlly tht hard when you have the same class together but yk. maybe she makes a note of trying to get on his team during activities. or asking more questions about work in class when she notices him looking kinda down. idk)

so idk. maybe 2 or 3 weeks go by since the first day. and idk maybe gabby and her friends have some kind of breaking up over something? not rlly sure what but it totally does have gabby rethinking her friend choices since this seems to always happen with her. but then she like remembers like hey yk what. that quiet boy has no friends. and now i have no friends. its like worth a shot ig. like maybe itd work out better having a small group instead.

so yeah she just goes up to him and is like Um hey. whatr u drawing 🙂 and he gets all like shy about it like oh.....um ..... nothing...... idk...... and shes like oh cool. ok. can i sit here. and hes like sure.

Okay, so I had this thought because I saw that Yeji and Ryujin from ITZY are doing Mix and Max this month. If Prominence!Y/n were to be one of the pair that did Studio Choom's Mix and Max, which NCT member would she be paired with, and what sort of song would they do it to? Ik that the obvious answer would be either Mark or Yangyang, or one of the other ANiMA girls, but I'd like to think they would use this chance to create a new pair that isn't quite so common or thought of because that's like, the entire point behind NCT, right?

I personally first thought of Renjun, and they could do like, a contemporary/ballet sort of routine to a ballad sort of song (Runaway by Aurora, anyone?), because I know he likes modern dance, and I thought that whole idea could be interesting. But I also thought of Shotaro, and they could do a more hip-hop style of dance like he does and did before NCT. Or maybe with Sungchan because fans see him giving her a cute nickname and demand more YNSC content?

The obvious choice would be Yangyang, you're right in that sense. Not only is it bestie things, Yangyang's an incredible dancer! I can see these two doing some kind of modern flair together and, truthfully, it would most likely be to a Doja song.

In terms of the ANiMA girls, Yeseul plays off of (Y/N)'s moves best. They would probably do something more upbeat and catchy too, think a Charlie XCX type vibe. With either Saeron or Jihyun it would certainly be a more mature vibe, think Monster from Irene and Seulgi. But, doing things with the ANiMA girls is reserved for ANiMA promotions, like you said, NCT is made to be rotational.

Although, Renjun's an interesting choice too considering he and (Y/N) don't often interact. They have a sort of "well Yangyang happens to be our best friend so we have solidarity in that but that's all" relationship. Not to mention personality wise they're polar opposites, the contrast would be an interesting one to watch.

I agree with your opinions on Shotaro! I made my fair share of posts that (Y/N) is a Tiktok centric when it comes to trendy dances, I can see her and Shotaro collabing, although, I think a more appropriate match up for him would be Yeseul.

Sungchan I feel like would be a cute choice in terms of having more content, but in that case I feel like that's more of an SM thing. Like, I feel like those two would have a Chenji-esque show going on... Let's call it Mouse Trap lolol

Anyway, I take your suggestions and raise them to Jeno. I think their contrast would be interesting too, as for style I'm not too sure what they'd do, actually, but considering that they have that long time friend/low-maintenance besties energy I think they could channel it pretty well into something more collaborative.

yeah i was like wow i’m gonna be so cool and mysterious and NOT tell anyone not even my friends what’s going on with kiki til i pump out my comics because i thought it’d be better that way? but school saps the energy from me so idk why i expected to get comics out in a timely manner when comics take a lot of time. i also feel bad because i’ve had multiple people go like “WHAT the fuck is going” so i’ll just tell you all as a little 500 followers treat so you guys don’t misunderstand and think she’s a murderer

childhood - after kiki’s parents divorced, she chose to stay with her dad, her mom remarried to a rich CEO (more on this later), whatever. her dad dies in an accident, but instead of being passed over to her mom, kiki got sent to pelican town to live with her grandpa on her dad’s side when she was 13. i think at this time haley is too young for her to hang out with because i always thought she was younger than kiki BUT sebastian is her age and they’re actually put in the same class

kiki struggles with acclimating to pelican town because she’s a) grieving b) joining the class in the dead middle of the year so everyone thinks she’s a loser LOL. i guess sebastian felt really bad for her cuz he finds her crying outside once of class and gives her like his juice or something out of pity. they end up becoming friends though, and by extension, she becomes friends with sam and abigail. she hangs out with sebastian the most though, plus they’re kinda neighbors so robin was used to her stopping by constantly out of convenience

unfortunately kiki only spends 2 years in pelican town because her grandpa died, but before he does he gives her the envelope like in the intro of stardew valley and tells her not to open it. everything goes downhill for her at this point because it means she has to move back in with her mom. kiki knows that her mom has 0 attachment to stardew valley so the only way she thinks she can really keep in contact with everyone is writing them letters which sounds pretty infallible at first

anyway i may or may not have taken inspo from an e ve MV here because childhood friends parting makes me really sad

teenage years up to early 20s - around this time surprise her mom is (surprise) awful. by this i mean her mom literally married a chairman at joja corp., enrolled kiki in private school, and tried to siphon any connection she had to her dad, grandpa, and stardew valley by substituting it with her new life in zuzu city. not to mention kiki’s step-sister irene who i’m going to design lately hopefully (?) also loves making her miserable only because she hates kiki’s mom 

the only thing that makes city life bearable for her is frequent letters from her friends, most often (if it wasn’t obvious again) sebastian. daelin told me he probably sent her emo poetry and i think that’s literally SO funny but even then the letters don’t last that long because within a few months her mom decides the letters are getting in the way of her kid’s success and starts throwing them out before kiki gets them or sends her own. naturally she thinks sebastian just doesn’t give a fuck about her so she stops writing after a while. but then this makes HIM think she doesn’t give a fuck about him and he holds a grudge against her for it for years even though she has no idea

then kiki forgets about stardew valley since there seems to be nothing else tying her to it, goes to business school, and eventually gets as a job in PR at joja corp. if that’s not bad enough she gets engaged to a MAN she doesn’t even like. her fiance is someone who manipulated her into dating him which i’ll again elaborate on in a second, plus her mom is obsessed with him like ohhh big handsome man WHATEVER except he literally only wants to marry her because her step-dad is a chairman. but kiki’s absolute breaking point (which i’m still kinda hashing out and only have a vague idea of) is when she figures out her fiance orchestrated a PR disaster by logging into her computer and messing a bunch of stuff up (idk if i should do hacking or whatever) so she gets blamed, only to take blame/save the day for the thing he LITERALLY started so she could feel indebted to him enough to date him. at this point she feels so suffocated by her life in zuzu city that she contemplates running away, so while packing she finds grandpa’s letter and decides to run away to stardew valley

present - i know the missing person stuff didn’t make sense but i hope everything i explained kinda gives you more context? her mom put out a missing person notice and her peers/family from zuzu city are still looking for her. this is partly why she doesn’t have a phone when she moves in, she tries to pawn her engagement ring off to clint for extra gold, and refuses to have pictures of her taken by haley for the first few weeks of their friendship. ofc when kiki goes back, she is escorted by robin, talks to lewis, etc. whatever is in the official intro and it’s kinda standard but on her way to pierre’s for cleaning supplies she accidentally runs into sebastian and realizes he hates her guts and has no idea why because he literally won’t tell her. the idea of childhood friends to strangers is really fun to write imo and then the story persists from there!
