thank you @kckenobi and @pandora15 for the tag!! <3 so here are the works, in no particular order and also oh gee i am so sorry this got so painfully long you can tell i’m procrastinating on my final + also i just tend to run my mouth when im talking about writing asdffd

to these memories (After Darth Sidious is defeated, everything changes. Some for the better, others not so much. Mostly better though. (Or: Anakin becomes a dad. Rex rehabilitates clone troopers who no longer want to be a part of the army. Ahsoka gets a call from an old friend. And maybe Obi-Wan finds out it’s not just his enemies who don’t stay dead. Basically, everyone gets the happy ending they deserve.)

so this was my first major longform tcw fic, and i just. i have a lot of feelings about this fic, mostly nostalgia and lots of gratefulness. first of all, i think i met a lot of super cool people through this fic, and i also? just? idk, this was a major project that i kind of worked on to cope with post-tcw sadness + also just. general sadness about the world’s situation. writing this story was actually super healing for me, mostly because i just. really wanted to have something where happy endings existed.

so this really...was an experience, and i’m so super grateful for everyone who read along. to this day, whenever i get a comment about this fic, i feel super happy because it makes me feel glad to know that there were some people who took comfort in this work, because i really wanted this fic to have that kind of effect on people. :’)

there they are (Right before Ahsoka leaves for Mandalore, Rex distracts Bo-Katan so she could give her family a proper goodbye. (There's hugging. We just needed our trio to hug.)

i think this was one of my first tcw fics of 2020, and. i just remember impulse writing this after watching old friends not forgotten because i was just. so sad that we didn’t get an anakin and ahsoka hug or a trio hug or anything. i understand why they didn’t--like, i really, really do, but. but i think if there’s a theme i’m going through this year, it’s ‘this was sad, so i’m gonna make it happy!!!’, so...as my masterlist puts it, ‘dave filoni said no trio hug, so i said fine, i’ll do it’.

uhhhhh, how very unusual of me, but!!! probably my working on a new original story. i’ve got the fourth draft of another story siting in the background, but. this other story idea came at me, and five outlines later, i started this story. i’m about three chapters down now, but. a snippet of the prologue:

“Well…it’s also a rather important story,” Rosalind said. “Do you enjoy stories?”

“I want to be a writer,” I blurted, and I stopped at that. I fiddled with my mug, heat that had nothing to do with the hot chocolate or the fire rushing to my face. Silly, oversharing me—oh, what a young, lonely child I was back then. So desperate for conversation that I had grown out of practice and resorted to sharing details that the average stranger would not care for.

But then again, these were not the average strangers—although I’m sure you’ve figured that for yourself.

“Yes,” I said meekly. “I enjoy stories.”

“Well,” Dae said after some time, “it’s good that you’re a writer.”

I lifted my head, and this time, I saw Dae and Rosalind smile at each other. A softer smile, one that made me feel suddenly dreadfully, dreadfully lonely.

“You might want to write this down,” Rosalind said at last.

And so I did.

*and cue the actual story* i won’t say too much because adsfsdfsfd talking about my original work makes me feel awkward + also i am constantly in fear of people stealing ideas even though,,,even though i know the only person who can write this story is me, anyways, but uh. i will say that i have a plan for a five-part series that’s basically about a witch and a princess. there’s a prophecy in the background. there’s magic. there’s rivals to friends to enemies to lovers. there’s father figures + big sister figures + found family + ancient kingdoms + the real world blending with the fantasy world + uh i’ve said enough okeee bye that’s it

the moment was enough (The war ends. Ahsoka and Obi-Wan try to work things out since the last time they actually saw each other.)

it had been a long while since i had written anything that was really just about ahsoka and obi-wan, but. i think everyone knows that i really love my grandpadawan and grandmaster duo? idk, this fic really made me feel things because i was thinking a lot about how obi-wan and ahsoka had left things. i wanted to make it pretty clear that they both clearly care about each other a lot, but like. also. there’s still some hurt there. i just had so much fun writing this, because obi-wan and ahsoka are such an underrated duo and i love them :’)

loose stitches (The discovery and aftermath of Maul. Anakin and Ahsoka find themselves pacing in front of the Council chambers multiple times. They might have taken Obi-Wan to Dex’s. Something might have unraveled, only to be stitched back together.)

kasey before you say anything pls know that i would talk about this fic until literally the day i die i am sorry if i am making you feel self-conscious--but anyways this was a collab with the ever-talented, ever-wonderful @kckenobi. so uh, quick story which mayhaps i might not have told anyone before, but whatever, i’m listening to evermore and therefore have no choice but to be emotional huh--this fic was like...one of the first collabs i’ve ever done? in general, collaborations were always something that made me nervous because it required lots of vulnerability and honesty, and there’s a side of me that’s very obsessed with having this image of Neat Writer Who Has Coherent Thoughts (which,,,doesn’t even exist so why was i obsessed? no idea). so that said, this collab was just. so wild + wonderful because it really was, first of all, such a cool, magical experience. there’s something so amazing and insane about passing words back and forth and like, even a screen apart, there’s something magical about like. sitting down at a laptop at the end of the day and feeling like you’re about to step into a portal where it’s just two people trying to spin a story. writing with kasey was just such a wonderful, absolutely magical experience, and i’m really glad that we got to write this story + the many more that we did. just. there’s something really personal and beautiful about writing until 1, 2, 3 am when the world’s asleep. anyways. magical.

asdfsdfd i’m very sorry that this got so incredibly long, but!! that said, 2020 was a hard year for lots of different reasons both personally + because of *gestures at the world* but. like. i’m really, really glad that i got back to writing clone wars fic this year, because i’ve met so many wonderful, wonderful, wonderful people here, and. yeah. y’all are my serotonin suppliers, and i do refer to a lot of people here as ‘oh yeah, my friend and i were talking the other day about...’ and ‘why are you smiling?’ ‘oh, just something a friend said--’ and. yeah. i hope y’all have a wonderful, wonderful rest of the year + also a wonderful life because y’all are simply the best :’))

1. what fandoms have you written for (but do not currently)?

um i didn't rly write for any fandoms when i was younger, but i knew my 12yo self was probably conjuring harry potter headcanons in my head D:

2. what fandoms are you currently writing for?

for now, and for a long time, i've been writing for bts. i've like always been a multi from the moment i got into kpop but i've never actually fleshed out any of the wips i had for any other groups LMFAO. honorable mentions are got7, skz, haikyuu yup

3. how long have you been writing?

a longggg time, i think. i enjoyed writing fiction as a kid a lot. most of it would be like off-brand spy kids/harry potter/hunger games type beat stuff. and it was awful. but i was literally like 9 so cut me some slackLKSDFJSLKDjf

4. on which platforms do you post your stories?

primarily tumblr and i only recently made an ao3 acc. the only fic i have on there is a tae drabble that's already posted on here LOL. i think it's 'resolutely, yours.' but i don't even remember bye. i remember i drafted drivers license on there but i literally forgot to post it so it's probably gone HAHA.

5. what is your favourite genre to write?

e2l even though i have no e2l fics on this blog i think

6. are you a pantser or a planner?

i used to never plan my fics, like at all. but then i was so unsatisfied with the flow of things and like idk lack of clarity. drivers license was the first time i actually sat down and planned out an entire fic as i was writing it. it rly does make things easier when u have an idea of what u want. and then just having the idea can help you possibly expand on it and get even better ideas off of it. the events of drivers license and the order it was all written in changed like 20394803 times. but yeah, does that make sense... LMFAO

7. one shot or multi-chapter?

one shots because i can never fucking get myself to finish a series. i love reading them tho

8. what is the perfect chapter length in your opinion?

no clue. i love long stories and slow burn tho, it's just so satisfying and $wag when it's well-written and the characters are well-written too.

9. what is your longest published story? is it complete?

the fic i'm about to post is nearing 20k, and it might even surpass that which will end up being the longest story on this blog. insane! drivers license is around 10k i think, and then if u combine the wnrs couple's fics it's like 15k? im too lazy to look tbh SRy

10. which story did you enjoy working on the most?

oh drivers license for sure! i don't think i've ever immersed myself and put so much effort into a story before. it was truly an amazing experience, and i just know that i'll probably never be able to write anything like that fic ever again. it's rly one of a kind for me.

11. favourite request you've have written and why (if any?)

most of the requests i had on this blog got taken down bc they were so bad. i'm not sure if the yoongi superhero!au is still up on here, but i'd choose that one since i really had to branch out of my writing style for it. regardless of it being like barely 2k.

12. are there reoccurring themes in your stories?

miscommunication, so much banter, i used to see this a lot but i would take it out but... head bonking ??LSKDFJHAHA, my side characters being dumbasses and then my main characters being even bigger dumbasses (oc probably being the biggest dumbass)

13. current number of wips?

during the course of writing the current fic i plan on posting this week, i created like 5 wips and they all hit 5k, and then i straight up abandoned them. and then the endless idea bank google doc. so if i count the wips i for sure want to finish by like this year or summer... like 3 or 4.

14. three things you have noticed about your own writing?

i feel like i repeat stuff a lot throughout all my stories LOL,, it irks me so bad. i think i relate to all my ocs in at least one way or another.

this paragraph seems pretty simple but i think it did the best job of like describing oc's emotions and realization of things,, its kinda cliche tew yas love that

Explain the meaning of your favorite line of dialogue you've written as if someone hasn't read it in context. “He doesn’t know,” Katsuki says, softly. “My timer stopped and nothing happened. He’s not mine.”

the line is from what we deserve!! it's a soulmate au where your timer counts down to the moment that you meet your soulmate!! bakugou's timer ends at USJ when he and kirishima attack kurogiri at the same time (impulsive kings <33) but kirishima's timer doesn't end until kamino because that's when he accepts himself as bakugous soulmate!! unfortunately, when bakugous timer has reached 0, he turned to see that kirishima's was still ticking and therefore believes that kirishima isn't his soulmate.

this line just,, idk. it's really sad. bakugou is such an action-driven character? if something doesn't go his way he Makes it go his way. he's got this insanely volatile quirk and he's got impeccable control of it!! but his love for kirishima isn't something that he can change and he's not going to ruin kirishima's chance of finding his own soulmate because he loves him and wants him to be happy. i really wanted to focus on how resigned he is? and how unusual that is for a character like him.

Favorite trope/genre to write? again, secret relationship with relationship reveals <33 fluff in general is my wheelhouse!!!

How would you describe your style? i tend to use shorter sentences and pretty simple words i think? and i gravitate towards lighthearted concepts that allow for ensemble casts and humour!!

What colors would you use to describe your writing? hm,,, depends on the fic i would say?? control fraek is dark green to me?? kinda like a forest at night yk?? scary but there's still life there. sugar cookies is yellow like early morning sunlight, when it rains is yellowy-orange like a caution sign. not gonna list all of them cause theres a lot its just. do u get it? the colours change based on the vibe of the fic.

What song or music genre would you use to describe your writing? think. i am constantly trying to emulate that moment at the end of wasteland baby when hozier goes "im in love/im in love with you."

What kind of metaphors do you rely on? religious metaphors my beloved <33 they're just so pretty!!! i also love comparing stuff to water for some reason?? like that ocean vuong quote thats like "what are you now?/water." it goes hard!!!

What's something you'd say is experimental in your writing at this time? definitely action!! i have,,, no idea how to write it so anything i do is really just me playing around and seeing what works and what doesn't

Do you prefer to write by hand or to type? i've tried both!! personally i prefer typing because it goes way faster but i will say that writing by hand lets me get words down when i'm going through writer's block

What is your preferred place to write (notebook, laptop, cellphone, etc.)? laptop!!

What app/apps do you use to write (word, notepad, etc.)? google docs skjdnkjh its fine on desktop but mobile is,,,,, disgusting

Do you keep a notebook or file/notes page in your phone/device for notes on your writing? ngl i just have everything organized in my drive?? one folder per fandom and then sub folders for ideas+hcs, unfinished wips, and finished fics. multichaps get sub sub folders so i can organize outlines and drafts

Do you listen to music to help you write? yeah!! playlists organized by fic vibe :D

Where do you usually go to write (bedroom, living room, etc.)? mostly in my bedroom??? but moving around to different stops helps too i think!!

How long does it usually take for you to write? again this depends on what i have going on irl, how attached i am to the idea, my mindset at the time, etc!! i am,, the least consistent person skjnhdkjh.

What's your favorite font to use when writing? times new roman my beloved

Other writing habits? sometimes i'll write in the dark?? bad for my eyes but for some reason it gets the words flowing

CONCEPTUALIZATION

How do you conceptualize your ideas? (See specific moments like they're a movie, writing specific lines in your head, don't know until you put the words on paper, etc.) i tend to get inspiration from movies, books, poems, or other fics!!! sometimes one line just makes me go oh,, i want to write something like that,,, and then it helps me create an idea that makes me feel the same way?? i did this with control fraek!!!! i wanted a scenario where bakugou was cold and calculating and i was like hm. to do that he’d have to be focusing on something important. and from there i was able to flesh out the rest of the idea.

Which comes first: the pairing or the plot? with krbk its always always the pairing,, i'll be sitting there like wow <33 i love them <33 what if one of them had amnesia <33 (which, yes, wip!!) otherwise it's usually the plot!! and i slot in characters that i feel make sense

Have you ever used a prompt? yeah!! used a prompt for wlw week 2020 and it was fun as hell

Do you write around the story around a specific scene you want to get to or do you start from a plot idea definitely the first!!!! i almost always write like,,, a super messy scene thats 90% dialogue, keep it in my head, and then write the entire fic around that one moment

Do you find that you include a projection of some part of yourself in the way you write a character? a lot of the time when i write love confessions or love in general i'll have one of the characters think or say that the other person makes their head quiet? and it's because that's what i feel whenever i'm in love?? a quiet mind. i project on characters yeah but i think most of the projection actually goes to the way that i write love

Do you research some of the things you write deeply, partially and kind of wing the rest, or play entirely by ear (in this case, go with whatever base knowledge of the subject you have)? most of the time if i do research it'll be about the setting (ex. the izakaya in to have and to hold) or if i'm having the characters interact with an object that they like. need to know how to use (me, in control fraek: google. hey google. does someone die if they get shot in the foot??? no???? awesome thank u <3)

Have you ever had an idea for a story and forgot about it? lmaoo yeah all the time i'll find like 500-2k words of concepts in my gdocs like i do. not remember this at all

Is there a trope you think you could be easily recognized by in your writing? probably krbk secret relationship lmao

Are there concepts you've tried that turned out better than expected? yeah!! i fully thought the action in control fraek would be awful but it turned out not bad??? which im happy with

Are there concepts you've tried that turned out worse than you expected? again, what we deserve, i personally think it would have worked out better if i'd paced it slower and drawn out the pining but i. do not feel like going back to fix it so its staying the way that it is. pining is so fucking hard to do AHHHH i get so tired with it!!! im like just date already!!!!

PROCESS

How do you come up with titles? in rare occasions (literally. all my multichaps for some reason) the title comes after writing like .5 words of the first chapter im like YES this is it!!!!! sometimes i write the whole thing and pick out one line that fits (what i did with come home to me) a lot of the time i just. steal from songs or poems that i like

What's your favorite emotion to cause on your readers? i like making people happy!!!! love when people comment saying they're cheered up

What's your favorite emotion to write? lovelovelovelovelovelove

Have you ever cried or felt any emotion while reading something you've written? never cried?? but sometimes i'll rereading my hurt/comfort fics 4. yk. comfort

Do you write in order or whatever comes to you? in order!! unless i have a scene that i Need to write and i'll quickly jot it down so that i don't forget

Usual way you procrastinate while writing? ...doing asks like this, making playlists, discord, watching netflix. what don't i do smh

Do you outline or free write? i am. so shit at outlines. i mostly free write and write lil notes for stuff that i wanna add later

Do you set word goals or scene goals (scenes you want to include)? yes!! like i said i'll write loose notes for scenes that i want to add later!! it gives me something to write towards :D

What do you consider when writing your scenes? what goes into making the atmosphere and mood you want? to set a scene i do two things? the first is like,, the five senses bc that always sets the scene really well and makes it feel Real. i'll visualize stuff in my head like its a movie and write out what i would want to tell the set designer?? if the lights are low, if the space is busy, if it's supposed to exude comfort or not.

for putting forward the character's mood one thing i've found that makes a difference is sentence length!! long sentences are good for making a character seem flustered and nervous or not really in control of their emotions? good for love confessions. short sentences are good for when the character is focused on something or short on time. good for fights!!

What's something you never considered to include in your writing that you can't leave out now? def buff hagakure,,,, once i thought of it i was like. if i don't include this at least once in every single fic how could i look at myself in the mirror!!!!!! how could i face anyone!!!!

How do you start a story? establishing a fact about the character or describing the setting! option a is one single thread of gold, option b is between lion and men

How do you end a story? either by tying it back to the beginning or doing like a funny kind of closing??? option a is sugar cookies, option b is a godless society

How do you get out of writer's block? change something!! move something!! i go from typing to handwriting, moving from my bedroom to my living room, switching wips to work on something else!! i do sprints as well?? give myself like fifteen minutes to write something and sometimes 200 words opens up the way for another 2k. sometimes i'll just delete like 500 words and start fresh

Do you edit? or do you toss your writing out there? i edit!!! i'll go over it myself then send it to one or two betas (bee my beloved <33)

Can you tell us anything about your current WIP? sure!! i'm currently working on when it rains which is a fic where bakugou gets hit by a crying quirk!! i'm gonna be using it to explore So Much of all might's character and his relationships with bakugou and aizawa (and i think some people from his past!!)

Can you give us a sneak peek on your current WIP? “You did something. What the hell did you do?” Kirishima sounds pissed off. It would amuse Katsuki if he wasn’t fighting just to stay standing.

“Nothing he didn’t ask for,” Shinsou replies.

“K’ri… shima,” Katsuki croaks out. “‘S fine. Not him.”

His chest collapses back into the familiar dry heaving after that but Kirishima shuts up. He doesn’t apologize to Shinsou.

Kirishima’s a good friend, stubborn and loyal. He stands by Katsuki’s side like an attack dog, blocking him from the view of anyone ogling at his tears.

The last line you've written Ochako knows more than she'd realized. She knows enough to keep her guard up.

What's your favorite thing about writing? touched on this before but it's mainly just being able to write the things that i want to see and actually enjoy them!!! actually reread them!!!! i thought "wouldn't it be cool if bkg and kirishima owned a restaurant together" and then i wrote it and i like it enough to reread it!!!! being able to create content for myself makes me. so happy

How do you keep yourself inspired? this is gonna sound narcissistic maybe but honestly i'm just really excited about my ideas and where i'm gonna take them and the idea of "i'm gonna get to That scene" keeps me going through the entire thing. also my friends!!!! i'll talk to them about fics and their reactions keep me hyped up enough to finish!!!!

One way you've improved your writing since you began? characterization!! i think i've gotten better at writing characters that are all Different and bring different things to the table!!! i used to project a lot more and it would compromise the characterization because the character was like 70% me and 30% them? not to say that projection is bad but if you do it too much it just,, doesn't read like the character and from a reader's standpoint the narrative can become less compelling

One aspect of writing you're still working on? writing action!!! i. literally hate writing it but i write for a fandom about superheroes so. Unfortunately i gotta learn.

A piece of writing advice you've learned while writing saw this on another tumblr post but they said sometimes if you're struggling with a scene, the problem is five lines back. i've found that to be true!!!! sometimes u gotta delete a chunk and start a little ways back!! i did this with too busy being yours because i was stuck for Weeks and i deleted like 25% of what i had but it helped me actually finish it :D

A bit of writing advice you can't stand when people shit on show don't tell for being overrated lmao bc when u read their writing you can Tell

Something you wish you knew when you first started writing? ,,,,honestly i kind of wish i could know some of the stuff that i used to when i first started writing?? technically i'm better now but creatively i was must better when i wasn't stressing about whether anyone would like what i was writing. so i guess i wish i knew that i should keep that confidence? i kinda wish that i wasn't as insecure about other people's writing styles because i never used to be!!

Something you've learned in life that you apply in writing there's no point in feeling inferior?? writing one genre isn't better than the other. being in one fandom isn't better than being in another. the kind of language you use or the length of your paragraphs- none of that stuff like. matters. what matters is that you're having fun and happy with what you're creating!!!! enjoy other peoples writing but don't let it make you feel worse about yours :D

okay, so about bucky

i’m sure someone has already posted about this, but wtf. i’ll add my 3 cents.

everyone is talking about how steve earned this, how he was a man out of time, how he deserved to go back and live the life he should have had, which, you know, besides flying against everything we’ve learned about steve through the movies, raises the question; and bucky doesn’t?

steve rogers is a man out of time, yes, but steve rogers also did what lead him there completely voluntary. he enlisted, he accepted the serum, he dove headfirst into battle (motivated by bucky, huh) he even crashed the plane of his own volition. did he know what would happen? no, of course not. but still. he did all that, and apart from the plane he had plenty of chances to turn back. but he didn’t want to, that’s not who he is was (thanks @russos). as long as he could help, no matter how, he would always do so.

but bucky? the canon says he was drafted, he openly admitted he only stayed in europe for steve, and after that... bucky barnes was captured and experimented on, tortured to the brink of insanity, and he chose to stay with his buddy to help fight those that did that to him, he fought bravely, and he made the ultimate sacrifice without knowing that he did. when he entered that train he didn’t know he’d accepted death, not like steve, who knew he was done.

but, just like steve, he didn’t die, did he. no, he spent 70 years as a pow, being abused and torrured, forced to do the most heinous of acts, the was stripped of his autonomy, his body and mind and he never had a choice.

and finally he was saved. by steve. he was found. by steve. he started to heal. with steves help. and he died again, but that’s by the bye. true, he has people beside steve now, he has sam, he has t’challa and shuri, and- yeah, i guess that’s kinda it, isn’t it.

and then steve just tells him, “hey, buck, buddy, imma pop back and force myself into peggys life, and leave you stranded here with all of these close friends you have now, one of which you’ve must have known for, idk 2 years at the most, and spent maybe a few weeks with bc he was busy following me around saving the world while you were herding goats in wakanda. i mean, i could have taken you with me, but im not gonna, bc i deserve to have a happy ending, you don’t. i am america’s ass after all, you’re just an asshole and a chump.”

he could have brought him along, but i guess bucky would much rather stay with these people who he’s spent all this time bonding with and made into his new family and- oh wait. that was st- ah. nvm.

bc idk. maybe bucky would’ve taken the offer his best bro could have proposed in a different reality. to go back with steve, to see his family, see his sister(s) grow up, to reconnect with his friends, maybe they’ll come back after the war, maybe he could spend time with the commandoes, maybe connie is around still, maybe she’s set to have a great life with someone else and he can do what is considered noble and just nowadays, so who cares, he can surely win her over, just reinsert himself into her life, or if not there must be enough dames to go around, bc he’s bucky barnes, straight as an arrow, and women is his game, maybe he can go around with steve, saving himself, bc apparently that’s something ppl are convinced steve does, or more likely, just kill himself and make sure that steve stays lost and frozen after they’ve popped by to pick up the shield. bc i know in this universe time travel doesn’t impact anything. and then, after maybe going to the different timelines with steve, (idk how it works, i always assumed that since his cells regenerate so fast, the serum maybe caused some longevity, and steve must be more that just 90-100 yrs old when he comes back, so what the hell was he doing? im probably wrong though, surely the filmmakers are incapable of making such a rookie mistake.) maybe he’ll also grow old, maybe he can die in peace, but not alone, he’ll be surrounded by his- someone.

but i guess he doesn’t deserve that, he’s not earned it. he only risked himself to stop the threat of the other soldiers, to go back to his hell to face them, he took up the call to battle without question when t’challa came, even if he was weary, so weary, just barely starting to heal, and no. it doesn’t compare to what steve’s done, of course not, because he’s not a hero, he’s a villain, he must be punished for all those atrocities ha committed, willingly and purposefully i guess. and it’s not like they were that close anyway.

okay, fuck me i just can’t seem to shut up can i? anyways i just thought i’d put that out there.

GOT7 Jaebum Scenario: Can you turn around?

I’ve been listening to Maroon 5′s ‘Wait’ a lot and I love it??? I got this idea from it, so it’s low-key based on the song xx

WARNINGS: angsty?? idk even know if i wrote it well enough tbh, its been in my drafts for ages bc i don't think its that great

Jaebum breathed in a shaky breath. His hands were trembling as sweat formed along his hairline. He checked his watch once more, tucking the hand into his pocket before walking up the driveway. Perhaps this was the most desperate and most selfish thing one could do to another. But Jaebum was selfish and desperate, he had been ever since you’d left.

He checked the windows of the house, making sure that all the curtains were closed or that no one was nearby them to see him. He moved to the side of the house, his heart rate increasing with each step he took. Before he could change his mind about everything, he was already climbing the side of the house, a nostalgic act that almost brought a smile. Almost.

At the feeling of remembering those memories, his hand slipped, the sweat almost pooling in his palm before he tightened his grip, continuing his ascent. As he neared the window he'd climbed through countless times, he realised that this was probably the first time he had hesitated to enter. This place no longer welcomed him with warm arms like it used to. It was a territory he was forbidden to pass, but with the state he was in, he’d go insane at any moment. Maybe he’d already passed that stage, but Jaebum’s mind was focussed on other things.

There you were. Standing right there. He wanted so much to reach out and hold you again like he used to. He brought up a hand shakily, his fingertips gliding across the cool, smooth surface of the glass before his hands gripped the bottom of the window frame. It was still cracked open, just slightly. His heart almost burst at the realisation of you still leaving the window open so that he could come back to you.

He pulled back, opening the window and climbing into the room without another thought. He’d waited long enough. Maybe too long. You frowned at the noise, turning around and wanting to look away immediately.

“What the hell are you doing here?” You spat, the anger and hurt you felt at a level that was indescribable. Jaebum simply stood in front of you, tears pooling evidently in his eyes as he looked you up and down, giving you a wavering smile. “Jaebum.” You repeated, gaining his attention.

“Y-You always said you’d wear a different colour.” He stuttered, his mind a haze as he couldn't believe his eyes. There you stood, dressed in a white, lace swirling along your arms and below your collarbones. You looked down at the dress you wore, recalling a conversation you couldn't even believe he remembered.

~ three years earlier ~

“I’m not going to wear white.” You blurted out as you and Jaebum walked hand in hand, aimlessly wondering around the town. Jaebum turned to you, looking a you confused.

“You’re not gonna wear white?” He repeated, to which you nodded, holding his arm tightly as you pointed to a couple, the lady dressed in a white wedding dress as the man stood by her side in a black tux. Jaebum chuckled, rubbing your back comfortingly as you continued walking.

“You can wear whatever you want on that day, so long as we get to be together forever.”

~ present ~

“Well... I-I’ve changed.” You sighed, wanting to run away from his gaze. You couldn't deny that even after all this time just his eyes focused on you gave you that fluttering feeling in your stomach. You looked away, clearing your throat slightly as you waited for him to say something.

“That’s a lie, Y/N. You and I both know that. You haven't changed at all, you’re still the same. You still love me. And I still love you.” He breathed. You shook your head immediately.

“No, it’s not the same anymore, Jae-”

“Yes it is! It’s still the same, Y/N! You left the window open just that little bit because you were hoping I’d come back to see you!” At this point Jaebum had moved closer to you and you could smell the alcohol.

“Jaebum, why are you doing this now? You could have done this so long ago, but right now, on the day of my wedding you want to tell me you still love me?” You hadn’t even realised you were crying at this point, hot tears rushing down your cheeks as you let out all the hurt you’d kept in for far too long. “How can you be so selfish still? Have you forgotten why we ended in the first place? You couldn’t stop work for just a second to be with me, you chose work over me. You chose yourself over me.” You turned away, ready to leave the situation and leave him.

“Wait. Turn around, Y/N. Please, can we work this out? I want to be with you. Forever!” You scoffed, turning around to face him again. “I’m begging you, Y/N. I’ll make up for everything, can you just wait?” You gasped slightly as he gripped your hand, holding it tightly in his.

“Im Jaebum, you’ve done something you can’t undo.” You replied sternly.

“Just give me one more chance.” It was wrong. So wrong of Jaebum to be doing what he was doing. He was confessing to you on the day of your wedding to someone else.

“Jaebum, if you haven't noticed, I’m getting married.” You sighed. Your head was pounding and your legs felt weak.

“Marry me! I can’t stay away from you anymore, Y/N. I thought what I did was right, okay? But it was a mistake, the worst mistake I could have ever made.”

Perhaps at another time you would have given his proposition more thought. Maybe you would have sat down and talked to him about everything that had gone wrong, try make things right. But now, there was no changing the life you were about to lead; as the wife of someone you thought you loved. But seeing Jaebum; the man that had really shown you what was like to love someone and have them love you back. Those moments you’d shared in the four years of your relationship were something you’d cherished even after it’s messy end.

It was true, you had still left the window cracked open that little bit, because no matter how silly it would have seemed, you truly felt that he’d come back and tell you he wanted you back. Day after day, week after week and then month after month you waited for the jet-black haired man to tumble into your room in the middle of the night to tell you he loved you. You sighed, failing to hold back the tears that left your eyes, torn between wanting to crush him in a tight embrace and running so far he’d never be able to find you again.

“You’re being so unfair to me, Jaebum, do you know that?” You sobbed, shaking your head as he brought his arms up, about to hold you. “No. I’ve found someone else who I know will be able to stay by my side and not run off when I need them the most. We ended a long time ago, Jaebum, just move on.” You moved back, quickly wiping away your tears as you held the handle of the door, about to twist it.

“Don’t come to the wedding, please. You weren’t invited for a reason.”

Hey everyone!

tl;dr : I'm going to be going on a bit of a hiatus for idk how long

I'll still be working on the requests i have currently during that time as well as some other projects but i just wont be active as much (might be posting about dream smp when there major events going on and stoof)

Just with the past two weeks i gained over 60 followers (almost 400 which is insane) and hit the highest point in notes in my activity chart and dont get me wrong im so grateful for each and every person who liked, reblogged, commented and was crazy enough to follow but i just feel like after that i became obsessed with the analytics and my growth to a point were i don’t think its healthy.

because of that i’ve been second guessing everything i write, post all that shit. I have so many fics ready to go in my drafts but i just cant push that post button yk as well as ones that im so close to finishing but just cant bring myself too because im second guessing the concept or the writing

Ig im just not enjoying it anymore yk? I just need to find the fun in it again because thats where i write the best and write now with everything i mentioned previously combined with everything else thats going on in my life

Its really just my own insecurities and things i personally have to work out. I dont want this to be something for pity just doing something to hopefully help my mental health and get out of this slump

A coworker of mine is 21 years old, not married, no tickets, and has had his license since 18 like me, and he has a 2007 Mazda 6 and he only pays about $170 a month, which translates to about ~$1050 for 6 months. Ok so here's the scene, I'm backing out of my driveway from my garage. My friend parked his car at the end of driveway (he was leaving but parked there to answer a phone call).
