There’s something rlly rlly special about being a teacher with adhd and rlly understanding the struggles of your students with adhd and being able to work with them instead of against them and accommodate their needs without a ton of strife. And then having conferences with their parents where you brag on their child and hype them up for all the amazing things they do? When they’ve never gotten that before? The best.

These kids aren’t problems. They’re literally precious babies. I too was distracted and talkative and look at me now. I’m distracted and talkative at schools every day except they pay me for it.

i have forces on the mind now so i’m going to discuss something i think WAY too much about

besides tails’ involvement in the game, the biggest thing i’d change is how infinite used the phantom ruby. imagine how much more of a threat he would’ve been if he used it for psychological warfare instead of just making an army

what if in that huge battle scene, instead of just reusing zavok and shadow etc etc, he used clones of resistance members and heroes to stir confusion and fear. to make everyone question who they’re fighting

what if the younger version of sonic that followed tails around was an illusion and a constant presence that reminded tails of his failure? he doesn’t help with anything, he just follows the fox around. kinda like how tails follows sonic around and, in his mind, doesn’t do anything worth while. we all talk about sonic being psychology tortured on the death egg but what if infinite did that to those who were found alone as well?

that does lead back to my wish that forces followed tails instead of the rookie. if infinite used the phantom ruby to stoke fear and confusion, tails being the main character means he would’ve had to push past his fear AND help others push past their own fears in order to help stop infinite which would’ve been a huge character growth moment for him

maybe i’m just pulling shit out of my ass but personally, i would’ve loved to see an infinite that used more mental warfare tactics instead of whatever tf he did in forces

I get so giddy and grateful and embarrassed everytime i think about the amount of people who have been so kind to me about a creepypasta au. Like creeped is very important to me cuz it KEPT ME PUSHINGGGG during kinda rough times and gave me an artistic outlet dedicated to childhood joys + grief + hope + just having Fun and I met a ton of really cool people because of it and I’ve had a lot of lovely people leave me nice messages and asks and make art and whatnot and it’s like guys. i know there are other posts that are articulating this same thing but man i really feel like we don’t give ray enough credit for playing a huge part in mcr being so technically impressive. like yes gerard has the strong vision, charisma, and intuition that defines a large part of the ethos of mcr, but it all comes down to his creative relationship with ray toro. ray is able to go along with gerard’s direction so well and interpret it through his obsessive relationship with music. in lotms they literally refer to ray as “a man obsessed” where he’s constantly working on the production of the music. we see multiple clips of him sitting at his laptop meticulously mulling over tracks. the story about him obsessively listening to the black parade tracks in his car until it was perfect. him taking typing classes to improve his dexterity and his constant pursuit to mastering his instrument despite dedicating his life playing it for over twenty years. ray toro’s brilliant musicianship plays a HUGE part in what sets mcr apart from all the other emo bands.

Early morning study sessions, corepower gym classes at 5 am, unhurried walks under the sun w laidback rnb, extensive skincare bc I need time to myself even on booked & busy days, cute fits & nails, keeping track of my multivitamins, putting more effort into phone calls w relatives, engrossing myself in days at my orgo lab or the neuro clinic, volunteering more and more at the refugee center, holding myself accountable, being more in touch w my feelings, getting better at staying in touch w friends, soft & moisturized curls, reading for fun even when my brain tells me I could be doing something productive…. I will make this life beautiful even if it’s by the skin of my teeth etc etc

To be serious for a minute I don’t even think I’d be sad if AidaIro kills Mitsuba again… just annoyed. It wouldn’t be a surprise, everyone expects it’s to happen, and I honestly don’t think it would be very good writing?? It’s just redundant… we’ve seen Mitsuba die several times before, we’ve seen Kou grieve. As he’s dead in the og timeline also it wouldn't really be a reason to convince Nene or Akane that the new timeline must be done. Don't get me wrong I think a lot of the fandom will be uspet, because he died, again. But honestly I struggle to see what purpose it would even serve for the the story, thats not just a repeat of a already done storyline I doubt it would even have real shock value considering people expect it…

Don't get me wrong it's not that I don't enjoy there writing and I'm not insulting what they've done so far, just wary for the future I suppose.

Not to say however if someone else in the cast dies I think that could be really interesting.(I don't think it can be Nene cause main character, or Akane because then there just kinda stuck in the new time and it gg, and I would hope it wouldn't be Aoi because she already has a kind of damsel in destress issue)

But honestly I really have no idea what direction AidaIros gonna go soooooo, tbh I think it would be really funny if the red house was just like, a normal house

Came here from your in universe tweets posts and have just realised you're also Irish.

What are your thoughts on Kevin Day seeming so American through and through? I personally wish Nora had given him an accent or something seeing as he was raised by his Irish single mam. Like I kinda wish there had been some cultural differences there even if it was done badly.

However I think Nora was very on point with the fact that if somebody was going to make a very violent stickball sport it would be an Irish person.

I don't know anybody IRL who's read aftg and I would love to hear somebody else's thoughts on Kevin's Irish heritage lol

I wrote these silly little hcs about Kevin’s childhood in Ireland but a lot of that is kind of dependent on Kevin having had more of a childhood in Ireland (which I don’t think happened but I haven’t got a clue what the timeline of Kayleigh being in Ireland to Kevin being born is tbh)

Personally I wish Kev was a little more Irish and I also think the Irish mammy thing would’ve had a HUGE influence on him (again depending how old he was when she died). She would’ve been his best friend if he’d grown up with her. Also the internalising of his problems is VERY typical of an Irish man but I’d like to imagine Kayleigh tried to break the cycle of that mentality in sons/first born sons and it was destroyed by the Moriyama’s.

Things I would maybe like Kevin to have/do:

- just a little bit of an accent. On certain words, or if he’s drunk or tired, or if he’s speaking with an Irish person, his accent QUADRUPLES in intensity.

- burns in the sun SO EASILY but also wears shorts when it’s barely even hot at all

- he drinks tea when it’s cold because it’s comforting and it reminds him of his mam. It’s the one indulgence he allows himself because she took her tea sweet so he heaps two teaspoons in when he feels like he needs a hug

- I’ve mentioned it before somewhere but I believe that Kayleigh was from the west, from a gaeltacht area and spoke fluent Irish, and raised Kevin to be bilingual until she passed, and he never continued and honestly probably forgot it. He remembers little words here and there but really not much at all.

- right after he graduates he spends an entire summer in Ireland before he starts with his pro team. It’s a silly decision for his exy career really because he could use all of the professional practice he can get, but he needs it. He goes back to Ireland and visits all of these places he doesn’t remember, the places where Kayleigh grew up and took kev when he was a baby. Maybe his grandparents are still alive, and his grandfather plays hurling with him, and they speak to him in Irish, and he spends the summer learning and just relaxing and reconnecting with his roots. Maybe his grandmother has a box of Kayleigh’s old things and for the first time in his life he holds something belonging to his mam other than his letter. Her jersey with her original IRE National Court number on it from the Olympics just a few years before she died, and some photos he’d never seen before. I’d really love for him to just be able to know his mam better somehow. I feel like he deserves it!!!

(He comes back with the most obnoxious Irish American accent after that summer and he gets ROASTED for it. But he doesn’t care, because he feels so much closer to his mam having spent that much time at home)

I am CERTAIN that Kayleigh was inspired to create Exy by watching hurling. There’s no way she wasn’t. Exy is the bastard sport of lacrosse, hockey AND hurling.

Working on the assumption that team dark works full time for G.U.N., what if Abraham Tower retired?

Perhaps they would have to face an arrogant, selfish replacement for the head of the organization. Someone who would come in and want to "shake things up". Maybe this person would be so self-important they think they could order team dark around as subordinates. The understanding between Tower and Shadow would be completely corroded.

But even more, during Tower’s retirement party they rehash all of his greatest “accomplishments” and the full devastation this organization has facilitated stares Shadow and the rest of team dark straight in the face. All of the homes and lives destroyed in the name of protection. And it's being celebrated.

And perhaps it's not all bad, perhaps there was some good done. Especially by team dark! But was it worth it? Is it still worth it? Is it the cost of war with a mad scientist, or is there a better way?
