You’re sitting cross-legged on Natasha’s bed, staring down at a jumble of Russian history notes that you’re certain might as well be in Cyrillic themselves. The words swim on the page, stubbornly refusing to click in the way chemistry formulas or physics equations do. You press the back of your pen to your lips, glancing over at the figure hunched over the desk in the corner of the room.
Natasha is fully engrossed in her game, brows furrowed in concentration as her fingers fly across the keyboard. The light from her monitor casts a soft glow on her face, highlighting the curve of her cheek and the gentle bite of her lower lip. She’s wearing a simple white blouse tucked into a plaid skirt, her usual attempt to dress professionally for class long since abandoned in favour of cosy socks and a messy bun.
You can’t help but smile a little. The contrast between Natasha’s outward shyness and the intensity in her focus has always been something you found endearing. You met in the class you were currently trying to study for, back when you’d shown up late to Russian history, fumbling through an awkward introduction as the professor sighed and directed you to sit in the last free seat beside her. It had taken a few study sessions for you to get past her initial stammering, but now, you could ask her about anything and her eyes would light up, eagerly launching into whatever story or fact you were struggling to understand. But right now, that focus is directed entirely on her computer screen.
You clear your throat. “Natasha?”
“Hm?” She barely looks up, eyes quickly darting back to her screen.
“Nat,” you repeat, with a hint of a smile. “I need help with the comparison of Russia until 1917 and the West-European’s Ancien Régime. And… pretty much all the details, too.”
She gives a little sigh, half-distracted. “Mm. Yes, the parables are… very interesting, baby. Give me one second. I’m doing really well.”
You hold back a laugh. “Right, but I’m failing Russian history. Melina and Alexei will both kill me. So can you take a break?”
Her eyes don’t leave the screen. “I will, I promise. Just a few more minutes. I’m close to beating this level.”
You can’t help but roll your eyes at her single-minded dedication. Her stubborn innocence, the way she always seems to be pulled between her gentle nature and her intense focus, has you mesmerised. But she can’t honestly think you’re going to wait forever.
“Natasha,” you say softly, standing and crossing over to her desk. Her gaze flicks up to you on her side, her big, doe-like eyes widening with an almost bashful look as you lean against the desk. “You’re seriously not going to help me?”
She blushes, biting her lip. “I really want to help,” she whispers, almost apologetic, “but, really, just a little longer? Please?”
There’s something about the sweet innocence of her pleading that has your heart racing. Her earnestness always has a way of drawing you in, those wide, round eyes like they’re begging for permission to keep playing, and her lips slightly parted in concentration. You tilt your head, taking in every detail of her—the slight blush dusting her cheeks, the faint glimmer of anticipation in her eyes, and the way her fingers clutch the keyboard just a little tighter, like she’s holding onto the game but secretly hoping you’ll take control.
You smile softly and reach for her chair, turning it around so she’s facing you. Her hands hover in the air, a brief look of panic on her face as she loses her place in the game. She opens her mouth to protest, but before she can say anything, you’re sliding onto her lap, straddling her, feeling the warmth of her strong thighs under you.
“Wait! You made me fall off the map!” Natasha squeaks, her voice a mixture of exasperation and a hint of excitement. Her hands instinctively find your hips, holding you as if she’s afraid you might slip away.
You give her a gentle smile, leaning in so that your faces are mere inches apart. “I thought you were going to help me study,” you murmur, your voice dropping to a soft, coaxing tone. You press your hands to her shoulders, letting your fingers trail along her collarbone, feeling the way her heartbeat quickens under your touch.
“I… I was,” she stammers, her cheeks flushing a deep pink, and you catch the slight tremble in her voice. “I just… my game.”
You tilt her chin up, making her meet your gaze, and she blushes even deeper, her fingers tightening their grip on your hips as her eyes grow wide, almost vulnerable. “Natty,” you say, your voice laced with playful patience, “I really need you to focus on me now. History, please.”
Her mouth opens slightly, as though she wants to argue, but all that comes out is a breathy whisper. “Okay.”
You hold Natasha’s gaze, the intensity in her eyes gradually overpowering her initial shyness. Her fingers rest on your hips, hesitant and yet possessive, as though she’s still trying to find some control in this position. Her breath catches each time you shift even slightly, and you can feel her heartbeat racing beneath your touch, each little change in her demeanour making her even more endearing.
You run your thumb along her jawline, feeling the delicate skin beneath, and she lets out a soft breath, her lips parting as she unconsciously leans into your touch. Her eyes flicker from yours to your lips, as if she’s desperately waiting for some kind of signal, a sign that she’s allowed to give in completely.
“Natasha,” you murmur, bringing your face close enough to feel her breath mingling with yours, “what are the key similarities, and how do the t<o regimes differ?”
She hums, her cheeks a soft shade of pink, but words seem to fail her. The hand on your hip trembles slightly, as though she wants to pull you closer but doesn’t dare to, not without permission. You feel the tension building, a mix of her nervousness and desire, and it only makes you want to pull her in even more.
Finally, you press a feather-light kiss to her cheek, just next to her ear, and whisper, “Come on, Natty. Think, please. Need your pretty self to explain it to me.”
She shivers under your touch, swallowing as she tries to remember the words. “Um… right, the… they didn’t have religious freedom,” she stammers, her voice barely above a whisper. The fingers on your hip dig in just slightly, a mix of nerves and need as she fights to keep her focus. “Orthodoxy– uh, there were lots of violent riots… against Muslims, but mostly Jews. Those were called pogroms and… oh…”
Her wordds trail off as you tilt her chin slightly, pressing another soft kiss to the corner of her mouth. Her blush deepens, and you feel the way her body responds, her tension giving way to a faint tremor as she tries to keep talking.
“You’re so good at this,” you whisper, guiding her with gentle encouragement. “But I’m going to need a little more focus from you if we’re going to get through all this history.”
Her breath catches, and she nods, biting her lip as she tries to concentrate. “I can focus,” she whispers, more to herself than to you, as though she’s trying to convince herself as much as you. Her gaze stays locked onto yours, her wide eyes full of innocence mixed with a yearning she can’t quite hide.
Her fingers finally slide up your sides, settling on the dip of your waist with a delicate grip, as though she’s terrified of doing too much, yet completely unwilling to let go. You smile softly, placing a hand over hers, squeezing in silent encouragement, and her blush deepens, her eyes darting away for just a second.
But you don’t let her break eye contact for long. Tilting her chin back to you, you brush your lips over hers in a kiss so soft it’s barely there, and she lets out a faint sigh, melting into the touch. Her grip tightens again, and you feel her breath hitch as you deepen the kiss just slightly, enough to make her toes curl beneath her chair.
“Tell me more,” you murmur, pausing just inches from her mouth, close enough that she can feel the heat radiating between you. “About the razzias. I want to hear you explain it.”
Her lips part, her mind clearly racing to catch up, but she manages a shaky breath. “They just were um, a…,” she stammers, her voice a mix of strained focus and barely-restrained excitement. Her hands start to relax, as though she’s finding confidence in your guidance. “They… uh– it’s a reckoning against religious ideals.”
“Mm-hmm,” you hum in approval, your thumb tracing gentle circles on her cheek. “And then the revolution happened?”
Her eyes flicker down to your lips, and she swallows, her voice barely more than a whisper. “There were two revolutions, technically. First, the February Revolution, and then the radicalised October Revolution.”
Her words start to blur into soft breaths as you lean closer, the warmth of her skin against yours heightening with each delicate touch. You feel her legs shift under you, and a soft gasp escapes her when you shift your weight in her lap, pressing yourself against her in a way that’s both innocent and electric. Her lashes flutter, and her eyes grow hazy, the careful focus she was trying to hold onto slipping with each passing second.
“Good girl,” you murmur, your voice soft and affectionate. Her lips part in a faint, breathless smile, and you feel her chest rise as she takes in a shaky breath, her grip on you tightening just a little more.
You tilt her head back, keeping her gaze locked on yours, letting your fingers trail down her throat, feeling the rapid thrum of her pulse beneath your touch. Her eyes widen, a mixture of awe and anticipation in them as she watches your every move, her hands moving under your sweater like she’s trying to ground herself.
“Do you want to keep going?” you ask softly, running a finger along her jawline, watching the way her breath catches in response.
She nods, unable to find words, her cheeks flushed a deep pink. Her eyes hold that same innocent, almost pleading look, as though she’s begging you to take control, to guide her wherever you want.
You smile, letting your hand drift down from her jaw, fingers grazing along her collarbone, before you slowly trail down to her chest and stomach, where you can feel the rise and fall of her shallow breaths.
“Okay, baby,” you murmur, your words soothing yet commanding as you press a gentle kiss to her neck, feeling the way her pulse quickens under your lips. She shivers, a barely audible whimper escaping her lips, her wide eyes softening as she watches you, her gaze full of innocent trust.
“Natasha,” you whisper, drawing out her name like a gentle caress, “let me help you focus.” Her breath catches, and she gives a shaky nod, her hands tightening their grip on the chair. You slowly lower yourself from her lap, letting your hands slide down the smooth skin of her thighs, feeling the way her body tenses under your touch only to relax as you continue, inching her knees apart.
Her blush deepens, and you can feel her shyness mingling with anticipation as her skirt rides up, revealing the growing hardness pressing against the fabric of her boxers. You let your fingers trace along her inner thigh, watching the way she trembles slightly at each delicate touch. Her wide eyes remain fixed on yours, that blend of vulnerability and desire making your own heart race as you take her in.
“Relax for me,” you murmur, running your hands gently along her thighs. You reach up to brush your fingers over the fabric straining to hold her in, and her lips part in a soft, involuntary moan, her cheeks flushing even deeper as she squirms in her seat.
With slow, deliberate movements, you slide her underwear down, watching the way her member springs free, her blush turning crimson as she looks away for a moment, a mixture of nervousness and excitement flickering across her face. You press a gentle kiss along her inner thigh, easing her legs further apart and taking in her reactions, savouring each shiver, each small gasp that escapes her lips. When you move your mouth closer to her length, you look up at her, waiting until her gaze meets yours.
Once it does, you bring your mouth to her, pressing a feather-light kiss along her shaft, and her reaction is instant—her hips jerk slightly, and she lets out a trembling breath, her fingers clutching the arms of her chair as she tries to stay still. Her breath hitches with every movement, her wide eyes looking down at you, filled with both awe and that same sweet shyness that makes her all the more endearing.
Slowly, you take her into your mouth, your tongue gliding over her, humming at the way she gasps, her fingers gripping the chair so tightly her knuckles turn white. You can feel her body tense under your touch, the warmth of her length in your mouth, and the way she squirms with each gentle movement. Her breathing becomes ragged, her cheeks flushed as her lashes flutter, struggling to keep eye contact.
“Just relax, Natty,” you murmur between gentle caresses, pausing only to offer soft words of encouragement, letting her feel the warmth of your breath against her sensitive skin. “You’re doing so well.”
Her eyes soften further at your words, her lips parted in a soft, breathless smile as she gives a faint nod, her entire body melting under your touch. She lets out a quiet, shaky moan as you continue, her hips shifting involuntarily, her breath hitching each time your mouth moves a little deeper. The look in her eyes—vulnerable yet trusting—only fuels your desire to take her further.
You increase your pace just slightly, watching the way her eyes grow hazier with each passing second, her fingers now reaching out, finding your shoulder as if she needs something to hold onto. The desperation in her gaze, the slight whimpers that escape her lips, all signal how close she’s getting. You pause, pulling back just enough to look up at her, watching the way she struggles to catch her breath.
“You’re so good, Natasha,” you murmur, words muffled by her heat in you, enjoying the way she shivers under the praise. “But don’t let go just yet. I want to take my time with you.”
Her blush deepens at the command, and she nods, swallowing hard as she holds back, her chest rising and falling rapidly as she tries to control herself. You press a soft kiss to her length, smiling at the way she bites her lip, her fingers still clutching your shoulder as she gives herself over to your touch.
With her breaths growing more ragged, you let your hand slide down her thigh, resting at the base of her length as you ease back, switching from the warmth of your mouth to the gentle grip of your hand. Natasha whimpers softly, her lashes fluttering as she watches you with that wide-eyed, innocent gaze. Her hands grip the arms of her chair for stability, her cheeks flushed and lips parted as you begin to stroke her slowly, savouring each reaction.
“Does that feel good, Natty?” you murmur, watching the way her eyes flutter closed for a moment as she nods, her entire body leaning toward your touch.
“Yes,” she breathes, her voice barely above a whisper, laced with a need she’s struggling to hold back. You watch the way her chest rises and falls, each shuddering breath making her more vulnerable, more open to your every move.
You increase the pressure slightly, your hand moving in a slow, deliberate rhythm that has her toes curling, her wide eyes looking down at you with unguarded adoration. You can see how close she is, her face a mix of tension and awe as she clutches at her chair, her mouth falling open in a soft gasp when you switch back to your mouth, taking her in once again.
“Please,” she whispers, her voice trembling, barely audible. She shifts in her seat, her grip tightening as she fights to stay composed, though the desperation in her voice betrays her.
“You want more?” you murmur, pulling back just enough to look up at her, letting your breath ghost over her sensitive skin. She nods frantically, her gaze pleading, as though she’s ready to beg for you to keep going. Her vulnerability makes your heart race, and you lean back in, pressing soft, lingering kisses along her length before taking her in your hand again.
Each change between your mouth and hand drives her closer to that edge, her quiet, broken moans growing more frequent as her body responds to your every touch. You take your time, alternating between gentle strokes and teasing kisses, watching the way her resolve unravels completely. Her hips move instinctively, seeking more, her breath shallow and desperate.
Finally, you slow your pace, watching the way she shudders in response, her gaze hazy and her body fully at peace yet trembling in your hands. “I told you, Natty,” you whisper, pausing to press a kiss to her thigh, “I’m taking my time with you.”
She lets out a shaky exhale, her hands falling from the chair to clutch at your shoulders, her breathing still erratic as she tries to hold herself back. But you can see the way she’s teetering on that edge, fully surrendered to you.
As you continue to alternate between using your hand and mouth, her wide, vulnerable gaze grows more unfocused, her lips parting as her body instinctively responds to you. But just when you think she’s letting herself fall into your pace, you feel her fingers tangle in your hair, firm but trembling, gently pressing down, silently urging you to take her deeper.
The sudden assertiveness surprises you, but you comply, letting her guide you, feeling the way her grip tightens slightly, the desperation in her touch almost pleading. Her quiet whimpers grow louder, echoing in the room as she watches you, her gaze dark with fascination, completely enraptured by the sight of you surrendering to her need.
“Oh, please…” she murmurs, her voice a breathy whisper, barely containing herself. You feel her body shiver as you take her deeper, her soft gasp filling the air. Her eyes, usually so innocent and shy, are now dark with awe, wide and almost worshipful, as though she can barely believe what she’s seeing. She bites her lip, her face flushed, her expression somewhere between a plea and an apology, completely mesmerised by the sight of you.
Finally, feeling your control slip in her grasp, you tap her thigh, and she releases her grip on your hair immediately, looking down at you with that same innocent gaze, as if wondering if she’s overstepped. Her cheeks are flushed, her gaze shy once again, as she watches you with bated breath, clearly unsure of your next move.
Standing up slowly, you meet her gaze, your eyes smouldering as you reach down and slip off your underwear, letting the fabric fall to the floor before stepping out of it. Natasha’s eyes widen, her cheeks a deeper pink as her gaze travels from your face down the length of your body, lingering on the hem of your sweater as if transfixed by the contrast.
Before she can fully take in the sight, you reach for her, your fingers tangling in her hair as you tug her up from the chair, her body following your movements without hesitation. She gasps softly, her breath catching as she’s pulled to her feet, her wide, adoring eyes flicking up to meet yours.
“Strip for me,” you command, your voice low, leaving no room for argument. You release her hair, your touch lingering for just a second as you make your way to her bed, settling yourself atop her scattered history notes, the crinkling of the papers the only sound breaking the silence. She watches, her blush deepening, clearly entranced by the sight of you lying there, completely at ease and in control. Her hands go to the hem of her skirt, her fingers trembling slightly as she begins to undress, her gaze never leaving yours.
Natasha’s fingers tremble slightly as she slides off her skirt, letting it fall to the floor. Her shirt soon follows, revealing the flushed skin of her chest and the slight rise and fall of her breath as she finally stands in front of you, completely exposed and vulnerable. Her eyes flicker between your gaze and your body sprawled out over her history notes, her cheeks flushed with both shyness and desire. You stretch out comfortably, your sweater rucked up just enough to tease her, watching her with that same confident, hungry look that’s left her at your mercy all evening.
“Come here, Natty,” you murmur, your voice firm but soft. She steps forward, her movements hesitant but her gaze locked on you, and you guide her down onto the bed until she’s hovering over you, her body settling between your legs. Her breath catches as she takes you in, her wide, adoring eyes drinking in the sight of you beneath her, looking up at her with that unwavering, confident smile that’s made her melt all night.
As Natasha hovers above you, her body fitting perfectly between your legs, you can feel the nervous tremble in her limbs, her cheeks flushed as she takes in the sight of you lying beneath her, waiting. Her wide eyes, so shy and adoring, sweep over your face and then down, drinking in every inch of your body, as though each glance leaves her more entranced. Her lips part slightly, her breath coming in short, shallow gasps as she steadies herself, hands resting tentatively on either side of you.
You reach up, cupping her face in your hands and guiding her closer, pressing a soft kiss to her lips, feeling the heat radiate off her skin. She melts into you, her body instinctively pressing down, filling the space between you as her lips respond, moving tenderly yet hungrily, every kiss leaving her more breathless. With a gentle nudge, you guide her hips forward, feeling her length brush against your entrance, and she lets out a soft, broken gasp, her face flushed a deep pink as she begins to press into you.
You hum, running your hands through her hair, tugging gently to pull her closer, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to her lips. She gasps against your mouth, her lips parting as you deepen the kiss, feeling her shiver as she responds, her body pressing eagerly into yours. She lets out a soft, desperate moan as she slides inside, her hands gripping the sheets beside you.
“Oh,” she murmurs, barely above a whisper, her eyes fluttering shut as she feels the warmth of your body surrounding her, enveloping her in a way that leaves her trembling. Her breath hitches, and she clutches the sheets beside you, her hands forming tight fists as she adjusts to the feeling, her gaze filled with wonder as she looks down at you.
“Good girl,” you whisper, watching the way her face softens at the praise, her body shuddering as she begins to move, her hips rolling forward in slow, tentative strokes. You feel each careful movement, each deliberate inch of her body pressing into yours, her lips parted in a quiet moan, her eyes half-lidded as she loses herself in the rhythm, her shy gaze growing more intense with each passing second.
With every thrust, her body trembles, her gaze filled with a raw vulnerability as though she’s giving herself to you completely, utterly. She clutches the sheets even tighter, her breathing quickening, her eyes never leaving yours as she moves deeper, her breath coming in soft, desperate pants.
“That’s it, Natty,” you murmur, running a hand along her cheek, feeling the way her breath catches at your touch. “Just like that.”
Her lips part in response, a soft whimper escaping her as her hips begin to move faster, her body pressing into yours with a growing urgency that she can barely control. She shivers, the need and intensity in her gaze building with every touch, every whispered word of encouragement. Her lashes flutter as she looks down at you, her cheeks a deep shade of pink, her expression vulnerable, almost pleading, as though she wants more but can barely bring herself to ask for it.
“Right there, Daddy,” you murmur, your voice soft, just loud enough for her to hear. The word slips from your lips easily, and you watch the way her entire being responds—the tremor in her hips, the widening of her eyes, the soft, desperate whine that falls from her lips. Her face and neck flush a deeper, unmistakable red, and for a moment, she looks at you with pure, unguarded awe, her expression caught between disbelief and overwhelming need.
Her hands tremble, her hips stuttering as she takes in the title, her body pressing instinctively deeper as though the sound alone draws her closer to the edge. “Daddy,” you whisper again, watching her face as she loses herself in the word, her expression filling with a blend of shyness and barely contained desire.
“P-please…” she stammers, her voice trembling, almost breaking as she holds herself back, her body trembling with the strain of it. “I… I need…”
You reach up, running your hand through her hair, guiding her gaze back to yours. “It’s okay, Natty,” you murmur, your voice soft, coaxing. “You don’t have to hold back.”
Her wide eyes fill with a deep, unrestrained need, and she lets out a soft, shaky exhale, her hands sliding from the sheets to grip your waist, holding you as though grounding herself. Her movements grow more erratic, her hips pressing deeper, her body responding to every encouraging word, every touch, as though completely under your control.
As she moves, you see the way she loses herself in each thrust, her face flushed, her mouth open as her breath comes in ragged, desperate pants. She looks down at you with that same innocent, adoring gaze, but now, there’s something more—something raw, a hunger she can barely contain. Her hips press forward, filling you completely, her body shuddering as she reaches the edge, her wide eyes pleading, searching your gaze for permission.
“Come for me, Daddy,” you whisper, your voice soft but firm, and you feel the way her body reacts, her grip tightening on your waist as she shudders, her hips jerking forward in a desperate, trembling thrust. Her eyes close as she gasps, her head falling forward as she loses herself completely, spilling into you with a soft, broken moan, her body pressing close, clinging to you as though she’s never felt anything so intense.
As Natasha trembles on top of you, her body pressed close, you feel every soft, shivering breath she takes, the weight of her against you as she finally lets go, spilling into you. Her head dips forward, eyes tightly shut, her lips parted in a quiet, desperate gasp as she comes, the warmth of her release filling you, a slow, deep pulse that seems to steal the breath from her lungs. Her grip tightens on your waist as if she’s clinging to you, grounding herself in the sensation, her face buried in the crook of your neck.
You can feel her chest rising and falling against you, her breaths ragged and shallow as she lets out a soft whimper, the vulnerability in her voice making your heart swell. Her hips press forward with each wave, as though she wants to be as close to you as possible, feeling every inch of her warmth, every pulse, spill into you, marking you in a way that’s both intimate and utterly consuming.
Each pulse of her release sends a shiver through her, her breathing shallow and uneven as she slowly comes down from the high, her eyes fluttering open, looking down at you with a dazed, awestruck expression. She looks at you with a mixture of gratitude and worship, her cheeks still flushed, her lips parted in a soft, blissful smile.
You brush a hand along her cheek, and she leans into your touch, closing her eyes as she takes a deep, steadying breath, her hands still holding you close, as though she can’t bear to let go.
“Natty,” you murmur, running your hands through her hair, guiding her face up to meet your gaze. Her eyes open slowly, her lashes fluttering as she looks at you, her gaze soft, overwhelmed, filled with a raw, unguarded adoration that she can’t hide. Her face is flushed, her lips slightly parted, her expression completely mesmerised as though she can barely believe you’re here, beneath her, accepting every bit of her.
A soft, blissful smile tugs at her lips, her hand moving up to gently cradle your face as she leans in, pressing a delicate, lingering kiss to your lips, her breaths still heavy, warm. She holds you like this, savouring the closeness, the feel of you wrapped around her, the warmth of her release settling within you.
Finally, she shifts, her forehead resting against yours, her eyes wide, her breath still uneven, as though she’s only just starting to come back to herself. She looks at you with a mixture of awe and disbelief, her fingers tracing your jawline softly, reverently.
“I… I didn’t mean to…” she stammers, her face flushing deeper, her shy gaze flicking away for a moment.
But you smile, reaching up to cup her face, bringing her gaze back to yours, your voice soft and reassuring. “Natty… it’s okay,” you murmur, brushing a thumb over her cheek. “I wanted this, too. I asked.”
She lets out a soft, relieved exhale, her body relaxing as she sinks into you, her arms wrapping around you, holding you as though afraid to let go. You feel her heartbeat gradually slow, her warmth enveloping you, her gaze still soft, full of that same innocent awe as she watches you, completely lost in the moment.
As Natasha catches her breath, her fingers lingering on your skin as though afraid to break the closeness between you, she finally shifts to pull out, a soft, satisfied sigh escaping her lips. She watches with wide, almost mesmerised eyes as your bodies separate, and her gaze drops to the way your mixed warmth slowly begins to spill out of you, the evidence of everything you’ve shared glistening in the low light.
Her lips part, her cheeks flushed as her gaze stays fixed, almost transfixed, and she can’t hide the blush that rises as she takes it all in. She’s caught somewhere between admiration and disbelief, her wide eyes drinking in every detail as though this might all disappear any second.
“Take a picture; it’ll last longer, Natty,” you tease, your smirk playful, voice soft, cutting through her daze. She looks up, startled, blinking as she registers your words. But after a second, she lets out a quiet, breathless laugh, her blush deepening as she reaches over to grab her phone, still trembling slightly from the intensity of the moment. She snaps a quick picture, her gaze flicking between the screen and you, clearly savouring every second. The reverence in her expression makes your heart skip, a feeling of pride filling you as you watch her.
Once she’s put the phone aside, she reaches over with a soft, sheepish smile, helping you sit up and adjust yourself. Her gaze softens, that shy, affectionate look taking over as she wraps her arms around you, holding you close, savouring the warmth that lingers between you both.
And then she glances at the bed, a small, nervous laugh escaping as she spots her carefully scattered history notes—now crinkled, a little rumpled, with more than a few slightly smudged edges. Without missing a beat, she moves to gather them, straightening the papers, her cheeks still a warm shade of pink as she moves to tidy up.

You’re sitting on the edge of your bed, fingers tracing over a stack of old photos from years that somehow feel closer and farther away than they should. The soft morning light filters through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room, but you can’t seem to feel it. It’s like you’re living in fast-forward, like everyone around you has figured out the secret to living, and you’re just scrambling to catch up. There’s a constant hum in the back of your mind, a quiet sense of urgency that keeps telling you, You’re falling behind.
And then there’s Spencer. Reliable, steady, intelligent Spencer, with his endless curiosity and his warm, steady gaze. Sometimes, you think he sees the world at a slower pace. He notices the way the trees change color in the fall, the way the clouds drift lazily across the sky, the way your breathing hitches when you’re overwhelmed. You’re not sure how he does it — how he lives in a world where time is patient, gentle even.
“Hey,” his voice breaks the quiet as he steps into the room, soft but firm, pulling you back to reality. “I noticed you didn’t sleep much last night.”
You give a small shrug, brushing the hair out of your face. “Just… thinking. That’s all.”
He sits beside you, close but not overwhelming, his presence grounding. “Do you want to talk about it?”
You’re not sure where to begin. There’s so much tangled up inside — the worry about where you’re going, the guilt of not doing enough, the fear that everyone else is moving forward while you’re stuck in place. It’s all too big, too heavy, and it clings to you like a second skin.
“Sometimes,” you say, staring down at your hands, “it feels like I’m watching everyone else live their lives at this… impossible speed. Like they’re running ahead, and I’m trying so hard to keep up, but I just… can’t.”
He watches you with that familiar look of quiet understanding, as though he’s absorbing every word. “I know it feels like that. But you’re doing more than you think, even if it doesn’t feel that way. Life isn’t a race, no matter what it seems like.”
You smile a little, but it’s strained. “Easy for you to say. You’re Dr. Spencer Reid. You’ve got three Ph.D’s.” It was unfair, you knew life wasn’t easy on him. He didn’t mind, he didn’t take offence at your insecurity.
His laugh is soft, a bit self-conscious. “It’s not always about how much you’ve done, you know. It’s about… what’s meaningful to you. And the world can feel fast because it’s busy and loud, but that doesn’t mean it’s moving faster than you can handle.”
You let his words sink in, wanting to believe them. He’s always been so good at that — seeing things in a way you can’t, finding meaning in moments you’d overlook. You think back to all those quiet mornings with him, sipping coffee while he reads, or the way he’ll point out little details in the most ordinary things. He lives with intention, like every second holds something worth noticing. “Teach me how to do that,” you murmur, almost to yourself. “How to… slow down, like you do.”
He shifts a little closer, his arm draping over your shoulders. “We can start now, if you’d like.”
“Here?” you ask, a little surprised.
“Why not?” He gives a small shrug, his fingers lightly tracing patterns on your shoulder. “The world outside can wait a little. Right now, it’s just us.”
So, you close your eyes, focusing on the warmth of his hand, the even rhythm of his breathing beside you. He begins to talk, softly, almost to himself, about the small things that make up the moment — the softness of the sheets, the faint sound of birds outside, the warmth of the sunlight coming through the window. It’s strange, hearing him describe the world like this, like a piece of poetry instead of a rush of responsibilities. And slowly, something shifts within you. You’re not sure if it’s because of his voice or his hand on your shoulder, but the weight on your chest starts to ease.
“Sometimes,” he says, “I think we get caught up in thinking life has to be monumental, or it has to mean something big. But there’s value in the small moments too, even the ones where you feel like nothing is happening.”
You open your eyes and look at him. His gaze is soft, steady, like he’s known this all along but has been waiting for you to see it too. “You really believe that?”
“More than anything,” he nods, his hand slipping down to intertwine with yours. “And maybe if we slow down, even just a little, we can find that there’s more here than we thought.”
He suggests you both go for a walk. At first, you resist — it feels like there’s no time for that. But then you see the gentle insistence in his eyes, and you let yourself give in. Outside, the air is crisp, and the leaves are beginning to change, painting the trees in vibrant shades of red and gold. You wouldn’t have noticed it on your own, but Spencer points it out, marveling at the colors like it’s the first time he’s seen them.
The path winds through a quiet park, and he takes his time pointing out things you’d usually ignore: the sound of a squirrel rustling in the bushes, the faint smell of pine, the way the sunlight filters through the branches. You begin to feel your mind quiet, your worries slipping away as you take in each small moment.
“See?” he says, smiling as he catches you watching a butterfly flutter past. “The world doesn’t have to be rushing by. We just have to choose not to rush with it.”
And for the first time in what feels like forever, you feel yourself relax. You’re not falling behind. You’re not racing to catch up. You’re just here, in this moment, with Spencer beside you, and that’s enough.
After the walk, you both settle into a quiet cafe nearby. There’s no agenda, no rush, just the simple joy of being together. You sip your coffee slowly, tasting it in a way you usually don’t, letting each sip warm you from the inside. Across the table, Spencer is reading a book, but every now and then, he glances up, meeting your eyes with a quiet smile. It feels easy, natural, as though the world outside the cafe doesn’t even exist.
The afternoon stretches on, a lazy, unhurried thing, and you find yourself wishing that every day could be like this — free from the pressure to be something, to achieve something. Just… peaceful.
“I think I could get used to this,” you say, looking out the window, watching people stroll by without a care in the world.
“Then let’s make it a habit,” he replies softly, reaching across the table to squeeze your hand. “Slow days. Just us. Whenever you need it.”
“Really?” you ask, a little surprised. “Even with your job? With everything you have going on?”
He nods, his gaze steady. “Life doesn’t have to be all or nothing. I want to be there for you. To be here, with you. No matter what else is going on.”
For the first time, you feel a sense of calm settle over you, like maybe — just maybe — you don’t have to keep running to be enough. That there’s space in this world for you to slow down, to take things one step at a time. And knowing that Spencer is by your side makes it all feel possible, in a way it never has before.
You lean across the table, resting your head on his shoulder, breathing in his familiar scent. “Thank you, Spencer. For… reminding me.”
He smiles, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of your head. “Always. Just remember, you’re not alone in this. I’m here, and we’ll figure it out together. One slow day at a time.
As you sit there, nestled against him, you let yourself believe that it’s true — that life doesn’t have to be a race, that you’re allowed to live at your own pace, to notice the small things, to savor each moment as it comes.
For the first time in a long time, you feel yourself slow down, the endless rush in your mind finally quieting. And in that silence, you find something you didn’t even realize you were missing: a sense of peace, of belonging, of knowing that right here, in this moment, you are exactly where you’re meant to be.

I think I’m still just stuck on Oliver’s will they / won’t they wanting the audience to long for the relationship quote. As well as Tim quote about Buck figuring out who he is and who he wants. And Oliver’s quote about fighting to be together. I am still hopeful of the potential direction they can take this in. I do think this coming episode will be the make or break in a way. If we see villainizing Tommy (which I don’t think they will based on the way both Tim and Oliver sympathized his decision) then I think its over but if we see Chim and Maddie helping Buck to understand Tommy’s actions then I think there’s still a chance. Also to me having Chim and Maddie talk to him is very interesting. They were a couple that fought to be together, broke up and then found their way back to each other. Having them in the scenes with Buck post break up helps me to feel hopeful about the direction they’re going in tbh. I don’t think it will be resolved at all by the end of 8a. But I do think 08.08 may leave off with Buck deciding whether or not he wants to reach out.
Honestly, all the interviews are bullshit. That’s where I am now lol the actors never know wtf is going on. I think they’ve been told so many things and, like, 2 out of 20 have actually turned into something. There was a load of nothing with madney, henren, and mara. Tim had stated that Eddie would be a little left out while Buck and Tommy’s relationship grew and we got more scenes of Eddie with them than without. Buck struggled for like 10 seconds with whether or not he meant to hurt Gerrard, also nothing came from Gerrard taking him under his wing. The Ortiz storyline was meaningless, and Gerrard’s entire arc turned him into a joke. There was no “hurdle” in Buck and Tommy’s relationship, it was a fucking boulder that came through and splintered it into a million pieces.
Ryan even stated that Tim could change the script in an instant, so the actors have no idea what’s happening at any given time and neither does Tim apparently. I’m pretty sure he goes to ao3, randomly selects a fanfic with his eyes closed, then writes his scripts based off of said fic.
I know some people are being positive and saying Maddie and Chimney will help him see Tommy’s perspective, but I have absolutely no faith in the show or its writing whatsoever. I would not be surprised if we got a, “eh, Tommy’s always been distant. Always a runner and tough to crack. You dodged a bullet,” from Chimney. Not because I believe it’s actually something he’d say, but because the writing is so shit that they’d have him say it to further push Tommy out of the narrative. Then, idk, maybe Buck can go on his little fuck tour 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lover, you’re on your own
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairings: Austin Butler x Female!Reader
Summary: After years of your divorce, Austin and you get in each other’s way again. Catch up, know what happened in last few years.
Author’s note: I don’t even know what this plot is but I kinda liked the idea of Austin and Reader finding themselves again. I kinda liked it, idk.
Warning: mentions of divorce, unhealthy relationships, children loss, spousal death, the reader’s been through a shit ton of divorces.
Tumblr media
You were inside a caf in New York City, enjoying being in your own for a while. After another hectic divorce, the choice of going to a bar wasn’t even on your mind anymore.
You started to wonder if you were cursed, you didn’t even care to count how many divorces you’ve had in the last thirteen years. Were you really never good enough to be a long time wife? Or did faith have something else for you in store? Whatever it was, life treated you like trash.
You drank your coffee quietly as she scrolled through your phone, you heard the door of the café open and close. You were very perceptive of who came in, who left, who coughed, who laughed. And once you saw who came in, you had to do a double take.
You knew that guy— man. He wasn’t a young guy anymore but a man. Austin. All those years ago and you still remembered him. Of course you had seen his rapid success these last years, he was everywhere. But you were in his past and you understood it. You didn’t expect anything but you wouldn’t lie if you said you didn’t want him to at least recognize you, wave at you or at least smile and nod his head.
You focused on your overpriced coffee and muffin, stealing gentle glances towards him. Until one time, you both made eye contact, he was going to turn back to his phone but immediately turned back again to see you. Oh, he recognized you!
“Hey.” His deep voice spoke as he reached your small table. You looked up.
“Austin. Wow. Hi!” You said, as if you had just seen him. “Oh my goodness, it’s been so long.” You stood up, greeting him with a hug.
“Look at you. You’re all grown up now.” He smiled at you. Whistling a little.
“I could say the same about you.” You said, sitting down again. Thank God he recognized you.
“Wow. I just can’t believe it. It’s been what… ten years?”
“Thirteen.” You corrected him. His eyes widened.
“Thirteen years? Damn, that long? He chuckled. “What are you doing in New York anyways. You used to tell me how much you hated the city.”
“A girl can change. And I find that bars here serve much better drinks.” You chuckled with him, then there was a calm silence before he spoke up.
“I heard you got married. Who’s the lucky guy?”
You sighed, showing him your empty right hand. Oh, so divorced already?
“How long?” He asked.
“Two years married. It was just a disagreement between us. We weren’t looking for the same shit in the long run anyways.” You sighed. It was better to say that than to reveal that your last husband left you for a barely legal girl.
“Two years. Damn.” Austin pressed his lips together, he looked away as he brought the cup to his lips.
“I heard you’re dating a model. Cindy Crawford’s daughter. That’s nice, it give you some… it factor.” You said, you were being half sarcastic and half truthful.
“Ah. Yes, Kaia.” He said, he really didn’t sound enthusiastic. “Everything is going just fucking peachy.” He said, a smirk on his lips.
You nod. The whole tired voice went over your head. He was dating a model, what else could a man wish for? If not a model with long limbs.
“Listen. I’m filming a movie right not but— I surely can make time to see you again. You said you drink, right?”
Your eyes immediately lit up, of course you could make time for him. Well, you wanted to catch up. That’s all.
“Sure. Yeah, what day?”
Tumblr media
It was a cold night. But inside the bar it was cozy. You both had ordered, he ordered an Old-Fashioned and you ordered a Cosmopolitan.
You started drinking the night away, you weren’t outright tipsy, but the alcohol was getting to your head.
“I really, really wanted to ask. What’s the true reason behind your divorce?” He asked as he held his glass on his big hands.
You sighed. You were already here. You had known him forever. Yes, you two might have not seen each other in more than a decade, but beforehand you were husband and wife. You shouldn’t be honest at least.
“He cheated on me. With the neighbor.” You confessed, he gasped softly, his hand going to his mouth. “Yeah. She was nineteen, now he’s dating her.”
“What a motherfucker…” Austin said, rubbing his chin.
“I’m starting to believe I curse every guy that gives me a ring. Seriously, five failed marriages. I must be cursed.” You sighed, his eyes widened even more.
“Five you say?” His voice was incredulous. Five. Five marriages. He was your first, of course. “What about the other three? If you don’t mind me asking…”
“My second husband, Tyler, we weren’t a match made in heaven. I guess he scared me a lot. He would drink his paycheck away. We divorced because his incompetent ass went to rehab.” You sighed as you played with the napkins.
“Then there was Eric, he was boring. He spent more time on his office than he did with me. He wasn’t so bad, he was just distant, very. He loved his job more than he ever loved me. He didn’t even talk to me, he just left the divorce papers in the kitchen. He had left a day prior.”
“Then there was… Nate.” You sighed, looking down again at the napkin you’ve been ripping apart. “He wasn’t perfect. Indeed he could be very moody and he yelled all the time. But I cared for him. I didn’t expect him to be taken from me. No wife does. By I learned to accept it. Now I remember him from time to time. I take flowers to his grave whenever I can.”
Austin’s eyes softened as he reached out his hand and placed it upon your shoulder, giving you a gentle squeeze. My goodness, where did you find those bastards to marry?
“Got any kids?” He asked you. Softly. Threading carefully.
“I tried. After we lost our boy, I really tried to get pregnant again. I wasn’t able to.” You said softly, you had at least wanted a baby. Not because you thought it would fulfill you. That was crap. But you wanted a kid so that you wouldn’t be so alone. “But I’m also grateful I never had a kid. It wouldn’t have been healthy if I had the kid calling three men daddy.”
“That’s true.” Austin said, taking a sip from his glass and nodding his head. “Listen. I know that you might think that I’ve forgotten about our baby. I haven’t. I visit the grave whenever I can. It’s just hard for me. Still. To believe he would have been thirteen this year.”
Austin looked down again. Taking your hand in his, his thumb rubbing the back of your hand.
Your baby boy would have been thirteen this year. How time flies.
You and Austin had been eighteen when you had a shotgun wedding because he knocked you up. He had been nervous but so happy. I mean, a tiny baby? He adored tiny babies. It was a happy married albeit you two didn’t know what to do.
But then, it happened, you delivered a beautiful baby boy. A tiny black-haired beauty, he had been a fighter, he had tried to beat the heat stroke that took him. You cried for days, he was there by your side, but he was young too and he was battling with his own demons, he quite literally filled for divorce out of nowhere, when you needed him the most.
You never saw each other again until now.
“I sometimes wonder, how different my life would be if he had lived.” Austin said softly, looking at you.
“Me too.” You wanted to cry, but you held back. You already cried a lot to your first child. You cried in private, like a prayer.
“Maybe we should’ve stayed married.” Austin said, almost with a hint of hopelessness. You stared up at him, a small smile on your lips.
“You were the best of them all.” You said, a smile on your lips. For all his faults, back then he was a kid too, and he mourned in whatever way he found fit.
“What a terrifying thought,” he finished his Old-Fashioned and laughed once again, shaking his head as he licked his lips. “Jesus Christ, don’t say that.”
You laughed together again, as you had done when you were younger. As you used to do late at night. And for some hours, you were happy by his side. He took this as an opportunity to talk about him now.
“You know, my girlfriend and I are having problems. Last thing I knew was that she fucked this comedian guy, from SNL…”
Tumblr media
As you waited for a taxi, you smoked together. Maybe this could be the last time you two saw each other. Your lives were the total opposite now. He was a successful actor with a girlfriend and you were an office worker, who spent all her time working or outside.
But you couldn’t deny that when he talked, you stared at his lips, he stared at yours. The way he smoked, the way he held the cigarette.
“Aren’t you lonely now? I mean, you’re all alone.” Austin asked as he threw the ash on the floor.
“I’m trying to learn how to be alone. It will be my next year’s resolution. Stay away from dating.” You chuckled, you then took a drag from your cigarette. “But yes. I can’t get lonely from time to time. I have been someone’s wife for too long, being and living with someone changed the way you feel once they’re gone.”
“I can relate. Kaia and I— we never even got to live together before everything went south. All just because of her stupid parents and her stupid pap walks. It’s exhausting, really.” He groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose with this empty hand. “And now that I finally put my limits. She’s all mad at me, with her team sending these ridiculous articles, making me the bad guy.”
“Hey, it’ll get better.” You said, patting his shoulder. “That’s what you get for dating a twenty-something year old.” You patted his shoulder a bit more playfully.
You two started playing with one another, pushing each other playfully, the cigarettes on the floor already. Until he cornered you in the brick wall.
He leaned in and kissed you, you followed the kiss, at first it started slow but it escalated quickly. His tongue entered your mouth, both your tongues danced with one another, his hand went to your neck, pressing it softly. You both could taste the cigarette and liquor on your lips and mouths.
You hadn’t kissed someone in so long, but it wasn’t right. It wasn’t. No. Not like this. No, you had promised yourself that you wouldn’t say anymore.
So after a while, you pushed him off you gently. He was out of breath, he kicked his lips, his hand going to the side of your head, he leaned down.
“You could survive another man…” He basically purred out, his lips on a smirk.
“It wouldn’t work between us.” You said. Looking into his eyes.
“Why not?” He asked, his eyes only showed confusion.
He would forget you, and you would forget him. For the love of God, never once in thirteen years did he try to contact you, and viceversa. You both would remember your baby boy, but not one another. You two would disappear into each other’s memory until you were old and wrinkly, telling your grandchildren or whatever young person asked about your youth. Talking about how you had a shotgun wedding. Of how you two lost your baby. About how you two continued each other’s lives like strangers.
“We’re too different now.” You said, it was all you could mutter.
Not all the bottled up pain you had from when he just left you, grieving and alone. Nothing. You just couldn’t even talk about it anymore.
He stared at you and nodded. You know what? He understood. He understood where you came from. He was a dick back then. And he couldn’t expect you to jump into his arms after all the men you went through, after what you went through with him.
“It’s alright.” He said, pulling away from you. “I guess I should go back to my apartment, it’s late.” He cleared his throat and came closer to hug you. “It was great seeing you again. I hope we see each other walking by or something. Goodbye.”
He knew he was lying. He was pleased to see you, but every time he looked at you, he saw your younger self. He saw the baby. He saw all the bad things. He loved you once. Not anymore. He had a special place for you in his memory.
But it would be the last time you two saw each other.
As you watched him walk away, you took deep breaths. That was it. You were alone once again. As you had been before he walked into the café. You had no one to turn to tomorrow.
As a taxi pulled to the side, you got in and told the driver the address of the hotel you were staying at.
You were all on your own.

so I have an angst request that I’m wondering if you could do. I love the fankids but I’m wondering if for some reason the fankids end up in another world. Where they don’t exist. Their respective parents exist but due to some nonsense (Cyrus and his refusal to stop, Grimsley cheating, Nanu pushing reader away) their parents never got together and now they are stuck in such an unfamiliar place without the comfort of their parents. They stay with reader and the pokemen realize that in another world they are happy and have a loving family. So lots of angst from all sides until one day the real parents come to rescue their children and take them away. Leaving the people in this weird world confused and in despair. Hope that makes sense! Idk why I am in such a mood lol
cw: angst, some (not) parental arguing in cyrus's part, cheating in grimsley's, fankids amuck
characters: Grimsley, Cyrus, Nanu
i wrote this for no one to read lmao. changed the request a bit sorryyyy
interesting
♠️Grimsley❤️
♤ Nero held tightly onto Morrigan as they looked around at their surroundings. It was still Alola, same as ever. A place he originally had been upset about moving to, yet now it was a comfort to see. The Ultra Wormhole had been a surprise, both had not been expected such a thing to just pull them in. Nanu had warned them – Telling them stories of fallers without memories ending up in unknown places. They had not had their memories scrambled, at least. Well, he had not. Morrigan had fallen unconscious. It seemed that it likely had just looped them back around. He bravely supported his twin on his shoulder and headed towards the nearest pokemon centre.
♡ Yet, as he headed to the one near the Tapu Village, he passed a familiar man. A man who was just about to walk past them when he felt his annoyance spike. How could he ignore his son and daughter like that!? It was frustrating enough that his father never seemed to learn from his mistakes. His glare seemed to make the gambler come to a stop. “… May I help you?” he asked, “Are you playing the hero to a helpless damsel with the hopes of winning big in the end?” Nero felt like gagging. That was his sister.
◇ “… You're not funny, dad,” Nero grumbled, “Help me with Morrigan. She's been unconscious for a minute, and I'm seriously worried.” He went to move his sister to the older man, but Grimsley took a step back. Icy blue eyes observed him for too closely before switching to Morrigan. He cocked up a brow and brought a hand to his chin. “… Dad,” Nero urged, “Seriously. Help. This is your daughter. Don't you care about her?” This once more caught the gambler off guard. There was much pondering.
♧ “Can you tell your parent I don't appreciate being informed of such a monumental thing in this way?” was Grimsley's reply, “Do they want child support or something? I'm completely broke these days. They played their hot hand too late.” Nero felt frustrated. Was he mocking them? This truly was not the time. He felt Morrigan begin to stir. Her head lifted as she looked around and grasped her head. Then, her gaze landed on Grimsley.
♤ “Dad!” she smiled and moved to hug the gambler, “Nero and I got pulled into one of the Ultra Wormholes!” Grimsley awkwardly dodged her affection. She tilted her head, unsure if this was her dad messing with her. “… Well, I guess it was mostly my fault,” she admitted, “The thrill of whether we would end up in some strange alien world was too much to resist.” His expression was strange at her words. She shrunk back. He almost looked like he was regarding her as one might an insect.
♡ “… I don't know what lies you have been fed,” he let out a breath, “But, I have little interest in being a dad. I doubt you're my only children out there. Just because I had some on and off again relationship with your parent doesn't mean I'm interested in you.” He shook his head. Morrigan took a step back, confused. It was the first time in her like in which her father had ever spoken so harshly to him. Nero stepped forward and stomped a foot at him, already sick of his shit. Whatever game he was playing at, he was taking too far. Being cruel to Morrigan for seemingly no reason and insulting their other parent was too much. Grimsley actually looked a bit intimidated. “… They should have told you this. I made that clear before we broke up.”
◇ Both stood shocked. Broken… up? Neither could recall their parents being unhappy with another despite the circumstance that had happened to them. In fact, if anything, their other parent had been happy Grimsley had more time to lavish on them. Both looked at one another in horror at the thought. This had to be another world. Or Grimsley was really messing with him, but both could tell his expression was too real. “… What?” he questioned, cooking a brow at the twins, “Did they not tell you? Apparently, when I started dating them, I wasn't supposed to keep sleeping around.” Nero had to be physically held back. Though, it did confirm that this was not their world.
♧ Before the situation could intensify any further, a familiar voice called out their names. Both stood astonished when their father seemingly appeared with you in strange not-quite spacesuits. The other Grimsley took a few steps back when his counterpart removed his helmet. “… Oh, man, you two actually nearly gave me a heart attack,” he seemingly ignored his lookalike to approach the two kids, “You certainly did Nanu. The old man was calling all the shots on your missing investigation. Didn't think he was that attached to you both.” He brought a hand to rest on each of their shoulders. Morrigan soon shoved Nero out of the way to cling to Grimsley. Nero watched as the other one observed how you approached them, too, smiling softly. He should have felt at ease.
♤ “… What a situation,” the other Grimsley remarked, placing a hand on his hip. It was clear that he could comprehend this scene. Yes, he understood Ultra Wormholes thanks to Nanu's badgering about avoiding them, but here stood a testament to something far greater than his understanding. Something inside of him twisted at the sight of the happy family. It was something that he never desire, but he could observe the genuine smile on his counterpart's face. “… Did something happen to your head?” he questioned his alternate self.
♡ That Grimsley managed to escape his daughter's hold. Turning to his counterpart, he tilted his head. “… Nope,” his simple reply was with a shrug, “I fell in love. I simply couldn't resist them, and now I've built myself up something. It's better than any high from a thrill.” He pointed the twins to follow you as he headed away. “When you really want something as yours… It drives you into a special kind of madness.” He bid his counterpart farewell and walked over wrap an arm around his partner's waist.
That Grimsley pondered if he could have ended up like his counterpart.
🌌Cyrus🛰
☄️ Cyllene would admit she was perhaps a little too playful. Even if she was a child, there were certain things she knew better than to do yet still did. Engaging with Palkia was chief among them. The legendary had opened a portal, and she, curious crawled in. Which led to her seemingly being atop Mt Coronet. She was lost as to what had happened, but simply assumed that Palkia had created a portal to the top of the mountain. She opted against thinking too much on it, as nothing was immediately odd or uncommon. That was until she found herself riding the train back towards Veilstone. Most people glanced at her strangely. It made her a bit nervous, but she otherwise made her home trip as normal.
☄️ The glances in Veilstone were far more intense as she was spotted by some Galactic grunts. She tilted her head at their reaction. They gazed at her like some unexpected oddity. She ignored them and simply made her way to apartment her family resided in. It was only as she approached the door that she realised she did not have her key. Nervously, she brought her tiny fist to knock against the door. It was quiet for far too long until the speaker beside the door beeped on. “… Are you lost?” It was unmistakably the voice of her father, “There is a police box just a few buildings down. They can help out find your parents.” Cyllene stood stunned. Her eyes went wide, and her heart raced in her chest. Her father was not one for such jokes. Tears burned her eyes.
☄️ “… F-Father…?” her voice was small. The PA system was quiet for but a moment. Then a reply. A simple questioning, “Pardon?” Cyllene moved closer to the speaker, knowing it doubled as a camera. “… Dad…” she begged, “Please…. please don't tease me…” She felt like crying. More silence followed before the door clicked open to reveal the man who was no doubt her father. He was wearing more casual clothing and his hair was unstyled, but it was him. She clung to his legs and felt herself begin to cry. Why was he being mean to her?
☄️ This Cyrus stood stunned, however, at this little girl who stood outside his home. He was no fool. The resemblance was plain as day. This child was a relative of his, if not directly related to him. Some horrible sense of empathy burned in his hardened heart as she wept. Instinct got the better of him as he knelt down and rested a hand on her back. Her reactions… They reminded him of someone. He swallowed. Judging by her age… It was not illogical to assume a possibility that she was… He sighed. “There, there…” his voice was soft, “… Are you claiming that you are my daughter?”
☄️ Cyllene nodded. She could not fathom her own father not recognising her. Had he attempted to mess with the Lake Guardians once again? Her panic led to her gripping his arms tightly. “Father…” she mumbled. His eyes went wide. Another question came from him. A question about her whole parentage. Cyllene blinked at this one. “… My other parent is…” A familiar name left her. Cyrus was frozen by her words. His theory… It was correct. How could this be? The question was about to leave him before he finally motioned her in the apartment.
☄️ Cyllene was further shocked at the state of it. There was no trace of family home she had come to know. Nothing of the small projects she had worked on with her father or the bed for Weavile in the living room. It was dark and seemingly mostly unused. Slowly, it finally set in about what had occurred. She felt sick. All she wanted was her Rotom toy or her bed or for her father to sit her in his lap and explain a star map to her. Instead, she was stuck with an alternate reality version of her father. One who clearly did not recognise her. More tears escaped her eyes. This Cyrus seemed to attempt to comfort her again.
☄️ Forcing down her torment, she was faced with a situation. Yet, before she could be given a chance to explain, her father had out his phone and was making a phone call. His tone was reserved, but Cyllene recognised the voice on the other end of the call. A demand was made for them to meet him at once. Seemingly, they relented after a bit of back and forth. Cyrus informed her she would be back with her other parent soon enough. Yet, they needed to have a chat before he handed her back off. Cyllene felt bewildered. There was no time to object when he grasped her hand tugged her along to a certain building in Veilstone. There stood another, waiting with their arms crossed and clear frustration on their face. Though, this was changed when they saw Cyrus approach with Cyllene.
☄️ “Why did you fail to tell me of our child!?” Cyrus's voice was a rare kind of loud and aggressive. Cyllene was startled away from him due to it. Her other parent stood shocked, too. Their eyes went to Cyllene and back to Cyrus. A simple response of not knowing failed to appease the man. The two soon fell into an argument, making Cyllene curl into herself. Panic burned inside her and made her arms feel numb. All she could do was tap to two stones she found on the ground together. It only seemed to grow worse and worse until finally a voice cut through the fighting.
☄️ “Cyllene.” Her head whipped up as tears fell from her eyes. There, approaching from stairs leading up to the Galactic building was another Cyrus. His gaze was firmly on her. Her legs had never moved so quickly. This version of the Galactic Boss caught her and held her tightly to himself. Another person ran up the stair to them. You. Her eyes burned as you brought a hand gently to comb through her hair. The alternate pair of you both came to an abrupt silence.
☄️ “… What is this?” the Cyrus of this world asked. The Cyrus she knew shook his head. “… Pointless to discuss such things. The idea of parallel worlds existing is something that you are no doubt aware of,” was his reply, “It seems we are two versions of the same person who engaged with different choices. Intriguing.” He clutched Cyllene tighter to himself. The other Cyrus nodded. The other you stood shocked at how close you were to your Cyrus. “… I apologise. We will be correcting this error,” with those words, Cyllene was lifted into the air and carried away by her father to a nearby portal.
Somehow, she felt as if those two had been changed by the experience.

🌑 Ohi'a would admit what he did was dumb. And, without a doubt, would piss off his dad. The geezer probably would be ready to kill him and then himself if he learnt that he got pulled in an Ultra Wormhole. It really had not been his fault. A toddler almost pulled in, and he dumbly rushed over to push them out of the way. He, instead, was sucked in. Yet… Despite all the horror stories of fallers and Miss Anabel's own existence, he did not fell discombobulated nor without his memories. Looking around, in fact, he still just seemed to be in Alola. The same as ever. He shrugged it off and headed back towards the Po Town police station. He needed to discuss whatever happened with his dad even if it was going to be a pain in the ass. He could already feel the hardened glare of the Kahuna piercing his soul.
🌑 He found himself approaching the station, seeing a familiar man and girl outside the door. Both turned to glance at him strangely. Ohi'a cocked up a brow at them. Acerola approached him with a bright smile and asked if he was lost. He was bewildered. Lost? He lived here. His gaze drifted to his dad, who was trying to pretend that he was not there. “… Huh?” he finally spoke, “… It's me. Ohi'a. I live here.” Acerola's head tilted while Nanu's attention finally shifted onto him.
🌑 “… In Alola?” Nanu finally cut in, carefully treading over, “Where, boy? You aren't trying to join Team Skull, are you?” His hands were in his pockets. Those crimson eyes stared into his own matching ones as if attempting to intimidate him. Ohi'a's nose scrunched up. What? He was acting extremely suspicious towards him. Why? Acerola was even treating him like an anomaly, too. It stung more than he would like to admit. Was this some kind of punishment? It was not like his father at all. Nanu could be a bit of a hard ass, but nothing cruel. Something was wrong here.
🌑 “… No. I mean…” Ohi'a trailed off, pondering what to say. The idea of parallel realities was no unknown to him. That one trainer on their island challenge had told him about their travels in the Ultra Wormhole. An alternate reality, far into the future of a destroyed Hau'Oli city. He stiffened up. Bringing his hand to the back of his neck, he sighed. “… Look, I don't think you'll believe me, but I fell through an Ultra Wormhole,” he explained. Nanu tensed up visibly at his words. “Through some struck of luck, I still have my memories,” he met his gaze, “… No idea what's going on in this world, but in mine, you're my old man.”
🌑 Nanu registered his words in an instant. The suspicion towards him somehow seemed to both fall and increase. Shaking his head, a sigh left him. Acerola gasped at Ohi'a's words and looked between Nanu and him. The Kahuna motioned for him to follow him into the police station. He waved Acerola off, too. Both of them sat in the station for a moment in silence. Ohi'a took in that it seemed much more… different from his memories. A single couch for sleeping. Nothing really to survive on. Some take-out and instant ramen about. “… So, can I ask who your other parent is?” he finally broke the silence. Something told Ohi'a that he already had an idea. His reply of a certain name only got a nod. “Figured…” He sighed, “… Am I a happy family man in your world or something?”
🌑 “… Nope,” Ohi'a replied, watching a Meowth approach him and give his hand a sniff. He brought a hand to pet the pokemon. Its soft fur, a familiar comfort. Nanu observed the interaction. “You're exactly the same, but you're married,” he shrugged, “… I guess you get busy with us, though. Tapu Bulu seems quite happy you had a kid.” Nanu scoffed at that. “I need to get back, you know” he continued, “My parents… They'll end up worried. You seem to think I'm more trouble than I'm worth until something happens to me.”
🌑 Nanu glanced at him. “… Are they happy?” he asked seriously. Ohi'a thought on his family for a moment. It was difficult to tell with how tormented Nanu could be, but he knew his father simply enjoyed the peacefulness of being in a loving relationship. You adored Nanu, often being far too affectionate for either of their tastes, but the small smile on his father's lips. You were happy as can be. Despite everything, he felt his family life was healthy. His parents were in a loving relationship, and they both cared for him.
🌑 “… Pretty much,” he nodded, “… What happened here?” He glanced at the alternate version of his father. Nanu shook his head. Ohi'a felt curious. His father always seemed quite attached to his other parent, typically being quite open to whatever they wanted simply to appease them or make them happy. Granted, it was still in his usual lazy fashion, but it was much like a cat putting up with its owner annoying it out of love. “Are you not together?” Another head shake. Ohi'a felt his heart drop. It was already strange enough being in a world where he did not exist, but his parents not being together felt strangely more difficult.
🌑 Before the conversation could grow any deeper, the door to the station opened, revealing three people in strange suits. Ohi'a recognised them as the attire of the Ultra Recon Squad. Stepping in, one removed their helmet to meet the eyes of the other two. Another Nanu. It felt like something out of a bad movie. “… There you are,” he walked to Ohi'a, “… You're more trouble than you're worth, boy.” The boy rolled his eyes in return. The other person revealed themselves to be you as you rushed over to hug him. He groaned at the tightness. The third actually seemed to be one of the Ultra Recon members.
🌑 The other Nanu relaxed as the recon member explained that they had a way to safely return to their original world. Yet, he felt himself staring at the family for far too long. Everything he had rejected because he felt so unworthy stood right in front of him. His counterpart met his eye. “Thanks for watching over him,” he nodded, “I apologise if he caused any problems.” The Kahuna shook his head. As the four departed from the station, he sat alone for a moment in deep thought.
Maybe he should contact them. It probably was not too late.

cod x fem!reader EDC Week
Tumblr media
cod x fem!reader
cod members reaction to you when they first see you out of your tactical gear, and you’re actually dressed up for EDC.
Warning: mentions of smut, 18+ Minors DNI, language. Mentions of breeding.
A/N: EDC literally just happened in my city, and I’ve been into the COD x reader stories recently. It’s not going to be anything impressive, but I hope ya’ll like it. Again, this is my HC for whatever reason. IDK, I don’t really make sense to myself neither, so don’t @ me. :3 This is also my first time posting on tumblr, so please be nice.
FYI I do not know a whole lot of lore, I’m just here for the fun of it, so please do not flame me for any inaccurate/unplausible storytelling I am about to convey.
P.S. I drew the design of the dress, but I referenced an image on pinterest. I apologize as I do not know the original artist for the figure.
----------------------------
Chatter amongst the operatives broke out, as everyone began filing out of the room, from another long debriefing. You were new to the squad, and just barely began speaking to anyone. Layered in heavy combat armor, and face covered with a balaclava and dark round shades every time you’re on base. You don’t like it when people gawk at you, especially when conducting professional business.
You find it easier when you’re covered up. People treated you like a normal soldier, rather than a piece of meat. Though, doesn’t really stop the flirtatious comments coming from your companions.
Soap would linger sometimes, making fun little passes, “What’ve you got hidin’ under there, bird?” You’d laugh him off and just tell him nothing he’d be interested in. He’d quip back “Bet there’s loads I can find interesting, dove…” You continue to laugh, making your way down the dim hallway. The other members, following behind. Gaz would chime in with a “knock-it-off” comment every now and then, but he was just as curious how you’d look too.
Pretty much, everyone has seen one another, considering how long they’ve been enlisted together, so it’s no surprise that fresh meat would immediately attract the attention of wolves.
Ghost, Konig, and Horangi followed from behind, watching you laugh.
“What’s the fresh meat good at anyways?” Ghost asked nonchalantly. Horangi shrugged his shoulders, with a soft “mm-mm”. Konig shook his head at the both of them “Hand-to-hand combat and reconnaissance. Apparently, she’s managed to close the distance on the Captain and threw him straight into the wall.” Ghost scoffed, attempting to burn a hole in the back of your skull. “She is? Look at her” he pointed with his chin, “A literal fuckin’ gnome is what she is.” Horangi chortled a little bit, Konig staying silent.
Price picking up on their conversation, cleared his throat, “You’ll see in due time lads. Someone like that can be the least expected.”
“So, since it’s the start of the weekend why don’t we start with a bang and head down to the pub for a fill?”
Soap suggested eagerly. The week prior had been incredibly taxing, so everyone was privy to the idea, besides you.
“Oh, no, I’m sorry. I’ve actually got plans this weekend,” you sheepishly laughed. Soap whined, prodding you on what your plans are. You didn’t budge, only that it was already planned some time ago and you can’t miss you. Despite the constant badgering, Soap deflated in defeat, as Gaz patted his back. Despite the initial rejection, Soap bounced back almost immediately.
Chatting away with you, talking about coming out with them another time. You laughed along, apologizing that you couldn’t attend now, but promised to meet in the future.
Making your way towards your apartment complex on base, you noticed everyone else also shuttling into the freight elevator with you. You tilted your head in confusion, queueing Price,
“Well, we all share the same apartment complex. Compliment of the base we currently reside on. Wants to make sure we’re on the ready for when things go down.”
You slowly nodded in understanding. You clicked your floor number, 10 and noticed that nobody else clicked a floor number besides 14. You looked at Price again, who sheepishly explained that squads are assigned to their own floors. That, since you’re now part of their operation, you’ll probably need to get the changes made soon.
“S’pparently supposed to bring us ‘closer’, build a bond with one another?”
You hummed in acknowledgement, thinking it was cute, “Yeah, I suppose it makes sense.” Chatter continued, until you reached your floor. Getting off, you said your goodnights to everyone. Soap continued to moan, hoping to get a glimpse of you at some point. Gaz agreeing, and Price chuckling at them.
The brooding bunch discussed themselves the best bar to pick from for the night. As the elevator finally reached their floor Soap clapped his hands together “Welp! How’s bout we all meet up again in an hour aye? Freshen up a lil bit. Maybe catch us a pretty bird tonight,” wiggling his eyebrows with the suggestion.
Sighing at Soap’s obvious desperation everyone agreed to meet in the hallway before heading down to the pub.
“Right! Now, let’s get this party started!” Soap howled, looking like he pregame’d before meeting up with the crew.
Everyone had transferred themselves into fresher clothing, finally peeling away the grime of the week. Excitement slowly brews in the group as they can finally wind down for the weekend. Although everyone had changed into more comfortable attire, the three brooding bunch kept their visages concealed.  All members shuffling into the freight elevator, chattering happily amongst themselves.
As the freight elevator begins its slow descent towards the ground floor, it suddenly stops at floor 10. Voices begin to hush as the door slowly slides open, revealing a woman with a high slit dress, stopping at the waist. Four thin black bands wrapped around strong thighs.
Her upper torso covered with black cloth besides the diamond cut pattern, exposing her breasts with dangerous allure. Her lower face covered by a black cloth that looked infused with the rest of the dress, leaving only her eyes visible, and hair to flow freely.
The unknown woman continued to adjust herself, before looking up into the elevator, capturing the eyes of every man on board.
----
Your eyes gleamed with happiness, pulling your mask down, smiling brightly at the lot.
“Hey team!” You chirped.
Silence.
“Heading out to the pub now?”
More silence. Eyes continued to stare you down. Not sure what to make of who you are. You started to feel awkward. Not realizing that this is their first time seeing you, especially like this.
“Erm… well then, off we go…? Heh…” you laughed nervously, with the door sliding closed once more, and the lift beginning its descent once more.
The ride down was silent and awkward, at least for the men. You just continued to tap away at your phone, not a care in the world, making plans to meet your friend at the festival entrance.
“(Y/N)?? Is that you?” Gaz piped up, still inspecting you from head to toe. You turned towards Gaz, nodding your head and smiling.
“Suppose this is the first time you guys have seen me outside of my Michelin Man outfit huh?”
You laughed at your own joke, not ever noticing the way their eyes grew hungrier by the second.
You never noticed the way Price stood just a little bit closer, in hopes of accidentally bumping into you. He’d blame it on how crowded the elevator was.
You never noticed the way Soap suddenly started spilling all over his words. His face slowly heating up with every time you laughed at his silly antics.
You never noticed the way Gaz was literally, so star struck, only nodding and laughing at whatever you were saying.
You never noticed the way Ghost suddenly stood up a little straighter, rather than leaning towards the rail of the elevator, trying to make himself look taller. More attractive for you.
Or the way Horangi adjusted his glasses every now and then to make sure you don’t catch him staring at you.
Or the way Konig began to fidget anxiously, staring intently at your being, hands held together to hide something that slowly began to rage in his pants. He was sweating profusely.
“Konig?” you questioned, staring up at the hulking 6’10” man.
Shit.
“Are you alright? You’re sweating up a storm.” Everyone began to turn towards him, suddenly finding himself embarrassed. With a few ‘legit’ coughs Konig spoke.
“Just need some air s’all.” He played it off way too cool. The others glared at him with jealousy when you showed concern for him. Konig, though his face not visible to others, smiled a triumphant smile under his facemask.
You smiled brightly at him, breathing a sigh of relief, tugging at his heartstrings even more. Glances were stolen every now and then by your team members. Assessing your body, and trying to determine if it’s the trick of the light, or your thighs are just that delicious. Toned, large, and ready to crush heads.
Oh, how they wished to have their heads between your legs. To have that pretty black dress lifted over their heads, and to hear your sweet voice calling out their names in ecstasy. Your hair sticking to your skin, drenched in the sweat and tears of your pheromones.
To watch the rise and fall of your heaving chest, as your honey coats their face and tongues. Once you’ve had your high, the dress comes off and you smile that bright smile at them, hands cupping their faces whisper-begging.
“Come here, darling… Come to me. I need you, so badly.” You’d pant out, with tears in your eyes, and a wobbly smile on your face, just begging to be ravaged by them. To be pumped with their loads.
Oh, they all wanted you, and you didn’t even know it.
The ride down felt like forever, until the soft ding of elevator is heard throughout, indicating your destination of the ground floor.
----
“So, where are you heading, dressed up like this?” Price inquired.
“EDC. It’s going on for 3 days, but I’ll only be going for two.” You stated excitedly.
“EDC? Wassall that then hen?” Now Soap asking the questions.
“It’s just a music festival. Electric Dance Carnival. Been dying to go, and since we’re out here I wanted to take the chance.” You informed the bunch. They all walked along side you, the rest in silence as Soap continued his barrage of questions.
“Oh, but I won’t be getting insanely lit or anything like that! It’s just an opportunity is all! I’m meeting some friends.” You corrected yourself, not wanting to have your team think you’re some sort of degenerate (hehe).
As you continued to happily chat away, your taxi pulled up. Bounding towards the door you turn back towards your fellow soldiers, not missing a beat.
“Ay, be safe, okay? If you need anything, don’t hesitate to phone me.” You chirped once more.
“Anyways, I’m off then! Be seeing you around!” You waved as you got into your taxi, driving away into the city.
----
Sitting around a table, with a dimly lit light hanging above them, Ghost groaned at the thought of phoning you to let you know that he isn’t feeling well. That he might need some of that ‘comfort’ you were giving to Konig earlier. Felt kind of sweaty. Might need you to take care of him, if you get what I’m laying down.
Price, Konig, and Horangi sat around the table, watching Gaz and Soap playing rounds of pool, but not really committing to it. Something on their mind, pretty sure knowing what, or who, it could be.
“If I died tomorrow, I’d want it to be those thighs wrapped around my head.” Soap dreamt, leaning on his pole.
“Yeah, no shit. Wasn’t expecting any of that. Reckon I’d begin howling at the moon just to have a bite.” Gaz chuckled.
Eyes snapped up at the duo, and then at each other.
Price laid a hefty pat on Ghosts shoulder, reminding him of his comment earlier.
“Still not what you were expecting, weren’t you lad?”  laughing heartily. Ghost grunted at his comment, as did Horangi and Konig.
“I… must admit… I too, was not expecting such a treat tonight.” Horangi shuttered with each word. Konig nodded vigorously.
Still fantasizing about your worry over him. Fretting over his comfort. He was already fantasizing about your wedding. The life you’ll lead together. Breeding you up with his young, having you cry under his weight, with your legs wrapped tightly around him as he drilled his throbbing member deep into your core. Konig shuttered at the thought.
“I’m going to make her mind” Konig stated out of the blue. Suddenly, all eyes snapped at him. Flashes of competitiveness and want evident on everyone’s face. Now, everyone was vying for your affection. And you didn’t even have an inkling of an idea that any of this was going down.
----
I hope ya’ll liked my story. It’s probably all over the place, and that’s okay. It was something I’ve been needing to get out of my system. Something I can go back to when I’m feeling that little itch.  I may build on this for our individual heroes. IDK.

Anyway. Please can you do a canon-Draco imagine? It can be fluff or smut but please NO ANGST. I am sad enough and I need to escape to a beautiful fantasy land. Can you have Draco keep his personality and be a little toxic for the reader? Jealousy, possession, short fuse idk. Let’s make him jealous? Yes that sounds good.
Do what you will with this information. I am sorry I took forever to get to the point.

The Slytherin common room was a living, breathing entity that evening. The emerald flames in the fireplace flickered with a lively glow, casting verdant light on the stone walls adorned with old tapestries depicting serpents and legendary Slytherin wizards of old. The air was filled with the hum of laughter, the clinking of glasses, and the smooth jazz pouring from a bewitched gramophone in the corner. It was a celebratory mood, students letting loose after a grueling week of classes, and everything seemed to pulse with an energy that was almost tangible.
Draco Malfoy stood at a distance, his silver eyes observing the scene, but his focus was entirely on you. You stood by one of the darker alcoves, a small smile playing at your lips as you chatted with Blaise. Your laughter, light and melodic, reached Draco's ears despite the noise of the crowded space, and it seemed to hang in the air like an invitation—a sound that made his chest tighten. He watched as Blaise leaned closer to you, his head dipping to whisper something that made you smile wider, and Draco's stomach twisted uncomfortably.
The feeling gnawed at him, a mix of irritation and something else—something primal. Blaise was far too close. He didn't like the way Blaise's hand lingered near your arm, or the way you leaned in to hear what he was saying. He clenched his jaw, his gaze darkening. The Slytherin common room, full of chatter and festive spirit, seemed to blur at the edges, narrowing until all he could see was you and Blaise, and that smile on your face.
He didn’t even realize he was moving until he was standing beside you. Blaise looked up at Draco with a knowing smirk, his dark eyes twinkling with amusement as Draco slipped an arm around your waist, pulling you tightly against his side. It was a possessive movement, one that made his intentions very clear—you were his, and Blaise needed to remember that.
“Having fun?” Draco's voice was smooth, deceptively calm, but you could feel the tension radiating off of him. His fingers pressed firmly into your side, his body a solid wall against your own. You looked up at him, meeting his stormy eyes, and saw the sharp edge behind his seemingly casual demeanor.
“Yeah, we were just talking about—” you began, but Draco cut you off, his gaze never leaving Blaise.
“I’m sure you were,” he said, his voice laced with an undertone that was anything but friendly. He shot Blaise a look, his gray eyes glinting with a silent warning—back off. The smirk on Blaise's face only grew wider, his eyes flicking between the two of you before he raised his hands in a mock gesture of surrender.
“Alright, alright. I know when I’m not wanted,” Blaise drawled, his lips curling into an amused smile. He winked at you before stepping away, the knowing grin still plastered on his face as he melted back into the crowd, leaving you and Draco alone.
Draco let out a soft huff, his eyes following Blaise until he disappeared from sight. His arm around your waist tightened, drawing you even closer, and you could feel the way his body was still coiled with tension. It wasn’t just jealousy—it was something deeper, a need to assert himself, to make sure everyone knew that you were his and no one else’s.
“You shouldn’t encourage him,” Draco muttered, his voice low, almost a growl. He finally looked down at you, his gaze softening just slightly as he took in your expression.
You rolled your eyes, though a small smile tugged at your lips. “Draco, you’re being ridiculous,” you said, your voice light, trying to ease the tension.
“Maybe,” he allowed, his eyes flickering over your face, as if searching for something. His grip on you didn’t loosen; if anything, it tightened, his fingers pressing into your side possessively. “But you’re mine, and I don’t like sharing.”
He pulled you even closer, his body flush against yours now, and you could feel the way his heartbeat thudded against your shoulder, a steady rhythm that betrayed the emotions swirling beneath his calm exterior. His breath was warm against your ear as he leaned down, his lips brushing the shell of your ear, his voice a soft whisper meant only for you. “And if I see him getting too close again, I won’t be so nice next time.”
The threat in his voice was unmistakable, but there was something else there too—a vulnerability, a fear of losing you that he would never admit aloud. It made your heart skip a beat, a thrill running through you that was equal parts excitement and trepidation. You could feel the tension in his body, the way his fingers dug into your waist, and a part of you couldn’t deny how it made your pulse quicken, how it made your heart race in a way that was both exhilarating and slightly terrifying.
You turned your head slightly, your nose brushing against his cheek as you looked up at him. His eyes were dark, the usual sharpness softened by something more tender, something raw and unguarded. You reached up, your fingers brushing against his jaw, feeling the tautness there, the way his muscles were still clenched in irritation.
“You don’t need to worry about Blaise,” you said softly, your voice barely audible over the noise of the common room. “I’m here with you, aren’t I?”
His eyes searched yours, and for a moment, the mask slipped. You saw the uncertainty there, the fear that lurked beneath all that arrogance and confidence. He swallowed, his Adam's apple bobbing slightly, and then he nodded, the tension in his shoulders easing just a fraction.
“Yeah,” he murmured, his voice softer now, the edge gone. “You are.”
For a moment, the world around you seemed to fade away—the laughter, the clinking glasses, the crackling of the fire—all of it melted into the background as you stood there, wrapped in Draco’s arms, feeling the intensity of his gaze, the warmth of his body against yours. There was something intoxicating about it, about the way he held you like you were the most important thing in the world, like he couldn’t bear the thought of losing you.
Slowly, his lips curved into a small smile, and he leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. “Just... stay close, alright?” he whispered, his voice almost tender now, the possessiveness giving way to something gentler, something more vulnerable.
You nodded, a smile tugging at your lips as you wrapped your arms around him, resting your head against his chest. “Always,” you promised, and you felt him relax, his arms wrapping around you more securely, as if he could shield you from the rest of the world.
The common room continued to buzz around you, but in that moment, it was just the two of you, wrapped up in each other, the rest of the world fading into insignificance. And as you stood there, you couldn’t help but feel that, despite his flaws, despite his jealousy, there was nowhere else you’d rather be than right there, in Draco’s arms, feeling his heart beat steadily beneath your cheek. His possessiveness might have been overwhelming to others, but to you, it was just another sign of how much he cared, and you couldn’t deny the thrill it brought you, knowing that you meant so much to him.
The stands were full, the air thick with anticipation as the game between Slytherin and Gryffindor raged on. The cheers of the crowd blended together, a deafening roar that seemed to vibrate in your very bones. The sky above was a brilliant blue, dotted with the darting figures of players on broomsticks, their robes billowing behind them as they raced for the Quaffle. You were in the stands, the Slytherin section awash with green and silver banners, your voice already hoarse from cheering for Draco and the rest of the team. The energy was palpable, a frenetic buzz that swept through the crowd like wildfire.
Amidst the excitement, you felt a tap on your shoulder. Turning, you found yourself face-to-face with a Gryffindor boy, his red and gold scarf standing out sharply against the sea of green around you. He was grinning, his eyes alight with the thrill of the game, and he leaned in slightly to make himself heard over the roar of the crowd.
“Quite a match, isn’t it?” he shouted, his voice barely carrying above the noise. You nodded, smiling politely as he continued to speak, his words blending into the cacophony of cheers and jeers around you. He seemed friendly enough, his demeanor open and easy, and soon you found yourself caught up in a light conversation, exchanging comments about the game and laughing at his jokes.
What you didn’t notice was the way Draco’s eyes narrowed dangerously from his position on the field. He had just passed the Quaffle to a teammate when he glanced over at the stands, his gaze instinctively searching for you. When he spotted you, his eyes locked onto the scene—the Gryffindor boy leaning in, you laughing at something he said, the easy smile on your face. A surge of irritation flared within him, his focus momentarily slipping from the game as he glared at the red and gold-clad intruder.
His grip on his broom tightened, his knuckles turning white as he forced himself to look away, to concentrate on the match. But the image lingered, a thorn in his side that only seemed to dig deeper with each passing moment. He pushed himself harder, diving for the snitch with a ferocity that had his teammates glancing at him in surprise. By the time the final whistle blew, signaling Slytherin’s victory, Draco was a bundle of barely-contained frustration, his jaw clenched as he landed and dismounted his broom.
The celebration in the stands was immediate, a wave of cheers and applause washing over the pitch as the Slytherin team was mobbed by their supporters. But Draco had only one thought in mind as he scanned the crowd, his eyes locking onto you almost immediately. He strode towards you, still in his Quidditch gear, his hair windswept, cheeks flushed from the exertion of the game. His eyes were stormy, a mix of triumph and something far darker as he reached you, his hand closing around your arm—gently, but firmly enough to leave no room for argument.
“Come with me,” he said, his voice low, and without waiting for a response, he began to lead you away from the throng of celebrating students. You followed, confused but not resisting, as he pulled you aside, away from prying eyes and the noise of the crowd.
“What was that?” he snapped once you were alone, his eyes flashing as he turned to face you. His chest was still heaving from the game, his hair slightly disheveled, and there was an intensity in his gaze that took you off guard.
“What was what?” you asked, genuinely confused. You could see the tension in his posture, the way his shoulders were squared, his jaw set, and you couldn’t understand what had him so worked up.
“That Gryffindor git,” Draco bit out, his eyes narrowing at the memory. “You looked like you were having a real good time with him.”
Realization dawned, and you couldn’t help the smile that tugged at your lips. “Are you jealous?” you asked, your tone teasing as you raised an eyebrow at him.
Draco scoffed, his grip on your arm tightening slightly, his eyes darkening. “I don’t get jealous,” he said, though the edge in his voice betrayed him. “I just don’t want you wasting your time on people who aren’t worth it.”
You couldn’t help but laugh softly at that, shaking your head. “Sure, Draco. Whatever you say.”
His eyes narrowed at your response, and before you could react, he pulled you closer, his hand sliding from your arm to wrap around your waist, his fingers digging in slightly. His body was still radiating heat from the match, and you could feel the tension thrumming through him, a coiled energy that hadn’t yet dissipated. He leaned down, his lips hovering just above yours, his voice a low growl that sent a shiver down your spine.
“You need to remember who you belong to,” he said, his eyes boring into yours, the intensity of his gaze making your breath catch. “I won’t tolerate anyone trying to take what’s mine, understand?”
His words were possessive, almost dangerously so, but there was something else beneath them—a vulnerability, a fear of losing you that he couldn’t hide, not entirely. His eyes searched yours, waiting for a response, daring you to argue.
You reached up, your hand resting against his chest, feeling the rapid beat of his heart beneath your palm. “Draco,” you whispered, your voice soft, meant to soothe. “I’m not going anywhere. You don’t need to worry about anyone else.”
For a moment, the tension in his eyes eased, the hardness giving way to something softer, something almost tender. He exhaled slowly, his forehead coming to rest against yours as he closed his eyes, the fight leaving his body in a rush. His arms tightened around you, pulling you flush against him, and you could feel the way his body relaxed, the tension slowly ebbing away.
“Good,” he murmured, his voice barely audible. “Because I don’t think I could handle it if you did.”
You smiled, your fingers brushing against his jaw as you tilted your head up, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. “I’m yours, Draco,” you whispered against his mouth, and you felt him smile in response, a small, relieved curve of his lips that made your heart swell.
The roar of the crowd was still loud in the background, the celebration continuing without you, but in that moment, it was just the two of you, wrapped up in each other, the rest of the world fading away. And as Draco held you, his lips brushing softly against yours, you knew that despite his jealousy, despite his flaws, there was nowhere else you’d rather be than right there, in his arms, feeling the fierce, unyielding love he had for you.
You were sitting in the library, focused on your Potions essay, the quill in your hand moving steadily across the parchment as you scribbled down notes. The library was quiet, a hushed atmosphere that contrasted sharply with the bustling corridors of Hogwarts. Shelves lined with dusty tomes stretched up towards the ceiling, and the faint scent of parchment and ink filled the air. You were deep in concentration, your brows furrowed as you tried to articulate your thoughts on the properties of the Draught of Living Death.
It was then that a Ravenclaw boy approached your table, his blue and bronze tie standing out against the muted tones of the library. He gave you a polite smile, his eyes warm as he gestured to the book you were working from.
“Need any help with that?” he asked, his voice soft so as not to disturb the quiet of the library. He seemed earnest, his gaze friendly as he looked at your notes.
Before you could respond, Draco appeared out of nowhere, sliding into the seat next to you with a fluid grace that spoke of familiarity. His presence was sudden, almost startling, and he fixed the Ravenclaw boy with a glare that could have frozen fire. His silver-grey eyes were cold, his expression one of thinly veiled irritation.
“She doesn’t need your help,” Draco said, his voice icy, each word dripping with disdain. The tone left no room for argument, his gaze locked onto the Ravenclaw with a hardness that made it clear he wasn’t to be challenged.
The Ravenclaw blinked, clearly taken aback by the sudden intrusion. His eyes flicked to you for a moment, as if gauging whether you needed rescuing, but when he saw the look on Draco’s face, he seemed to decide against pushing his luck. He cleared his throat, offering a tight smile before quickly making his exit, clearly not wanting to deal with an irritated Malfoy.
You sighed, watching as the Ravenclaw retreated, disappearing behind a row of shelves. You turned your gaze back to Draco, giving him a look that was equal parts exasperation and amusement. “Really?” you asked, your voice carrying a hint of incredulity.
Draco just shrugged, leaning back in his chair, his posture one of nonchalance. A smirk played on his lips, his eyes glinting with something almost playful. “What? I’m just protecting what’s mine,” he said, his tone casual, but there was an edge of seriousness beneath it, a possessiveness that was unmistakable.
“You’re impossible,” you muttered, shaking your head, though you couldn’t help the smile that tugged at your lips. There was something oddly endearing about his jealousy, the way he always seemed to be on high alert whenever someone else showed even a passing interest in you.
Draco’s smirk softened, his eyes losing some of their sharpness as he looked at you. He leaned closer, his voice dropping to a whisper, his breath warm against your ear. “And yet, you love me anyway,” he murmured, the words laced with both confidence and a hint of vulnerability.
His gaze locked onto yours, his eyes searching your face, watching for your reaction. “You do love me, right?” he asked, his voice low, almost a growl, the possessiveness returning in full force. “Because I won’t tolerate anything else.”
There was a challenge in his gaze, as if your love was something he needed to claim again and again, as if he needed constant reassurance that you were his and his alone. His eyes bored into yours, daring you to deny it, to argue with him.
You smiled, reaching out to take his hand, your fingers lacing through his. “Of course I love you, Draco,” you said softly, your voice sincere. You could see the tension ease in his shoulders, the hardness in his eyes softening as he let out a breath he hadn’t realised he was holding.
“Good,” he whispered, his smirk returning, though it was gentler now, almost affectionate. He brought your hand up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to your knuckles, his eyes never leaving yours. “Because you’re mine, and I’m not letting anyone forget it.”
You rolled your eyes, but your smile remained, your heart swelling at the intensity in his words. “You’re ridiculous,” you said, but there was no heat in your voice, only affection.
Draco grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief. “Maybe. But you wouldn’t have me any other way.”
And as he leaned in, his lips brushing yours in a tender kiss, you knew he was right. His possessiveness, his jealousy—it was all part of who he was, and despite everything, you wouldn’t change a thing about him.
Draco’s eyes followed you as you walked into the Great Hall, the high vaulted ceiling shimmering with an enchanted sky that reflected the bright morning outside. You wore a smile on your face as you chatted with a group of Hufflepuff friends, your laughter carrying across the large room like a gentle melody. His gaze narrowed when he noticed the way one of the boys nudged you playfully, your laugh in response making something deep in Draco’s chest twist unpleasantly.
He sat at the Slytherin table, his eyes tracking your every movement. The tightness in his chest only seemed to grow as he watched, that familiar jealousy bubbling just beneath the surface, and he clenched his jaw to keep his composure. To everyone else, Draco looked perfectly poised, the same aloof and unaffected pureblood they were used to, but on the inside, he was a storm.
Finally, you made your way over, your eyes meeting his across the hall, and you sent him a warm smile, oblivious to the turmoil stirring within him. You slid onto the bench beside him, your shoulder brushing his, and Draco wasted no time. His arm went around your waist, and his other hand slipped under the table, his palm resting possessively on your thigh.
You shot him a curious look, your eyes flicking to the hand on your leg. “Everything alright?” you asked, though the amused quirk of your lips suggested that you already knew the answer.
Draco leaned closer, his expression seemingly casual to anyone watching, but his grip on your thigh tightened slightly, his fingers pressing into you as if to emphasise his words. “Do you always have to be so friendly with everyone?” he muttered, his voice low enough for only you to hear. There was a bite to his words, his jealousy evident in the way his eyes remained hard, his gaze flicking towards the Hufflepuff boy who was still laughing with his friends at their table.
You looked at him, the corner of your mouth twitching upwards. “It’s called being nice, Draco. You should try it sometime,” you said, your tone teasing.
He rolled his eyes, a sigh escaping him as if he found the very idea exasperating. His fingers on your thigh tightened fractionally, his silver eyes locking onto yours. “I’m nice to you. That’s enough,” he said, his lips curling into a smirk that held just a hint of challenge.
You chuckled, leaning in and pressing a soft kiss to his cheek, the touch gentle and affectionate. “I suppose it is,” you murmured, brushing your nose lightly against his temple before pulling back. You could see the way his posture relaxed, just a bit, his possessive hold on your thigh not quite as rigid.
Draco leaned closer, his breath warm against your ear, his voice dropping to a whisper that sent a shiver down your spine. “You’re mine, and I don’t want anyone else getting the wrong idea,” he said, the words possessive and dark, the edge in his tone making it clear just how much he meant it. His fingers tightened again, a slow squeeze that spoke volumes of his emotions—jealousy, protectiveness, and that constant need to make sure everyone knew exactly where you stood.
You turned your head, your lips brushing against the corner of his jaw as you spoke. “I think they already know,” you whispered, your voice soft, meant to soothe. There was a tenderness in your eyes as you looked at him, understanding the depth of his feelings without him needing to say another word.
Draco exhaled slowly, his gaze meeting yours, the storm in his eyes easing, giving way to something softer, something vulnerable. “They’d better,” he muttered, his voice losing some of its sharpness, though the intensity was still there, lingering beneath the surface.
You reached down, your hand resting atop his under the table, your fingers threading through his in a comforting gesture. “I’m not going anywhere, Draco,” you said, your voice steady, your gaze unwavering. “You’re stuck with me.”
A small smile tugged at his lips, his fingers relaxing beneath yours. He leaned in, pressing a kiss to your temple, his lips lingering for a moment longer than necessary. “Good,” he murmured, the word almost a sigh, as if the thought of you being his brought him the only real sense of peace he knew.
The Great Hall bustled around you, students laughing, talking, the clatter of cutlery and dishes filling the space. But in that moment, it all seemed distant, the rest of the world fading into the background as you sat there, wrapped up in Draco’s presence. You could feel the heat of his body next to yours, the steady pressure of his hand on your thigh, and you knew that, despite his possessiveness, despite his flaws, this was exactly where you wanted to be.
Draco’s eyes stayed on you, the intensity in his gaze unwavering, and he leaned down again, his lips brushing against your ear. “If they don’t get the message, I’ll make sure they do,” he said, his voice low, almost threatening, but there was a hint of insecurity there too—a fear that you might slip away, that someone else might catch your eye.
You pulled back slightly, your eyes meeting his, and you smiled, your fingers squeezing his gently. “You don’t need to do that. I’m yours, Draco. No one else’s,” you said, your voice full of affection, your gaze holding his.
For a moment, his expression softened completely, the tension easing from his body. He nodded, his forehead pressing against yours briefly. “Alright,” he whispered, the word carrying a weight of emotion, a mixture of possessiveness and love that made your heart swell.
Slowly, he pulled back, a smirk returning to his lips, though it was softer now, almost playful. “Just remember that,” he said, his tone lightening, the usual arrogance creeping back in, though you could see the genuine affection in his eyes.
You laughed, rolling your eyes at him, but there was nothing but warmth in your gaze. “I will,” you promised, leaning in to kiss him, your lips brushing against his in a soft, lingering kiss.
The Great Hall continued its bustle around you, but in that moment, it was just you and Draco, wrapped up in each other, the rest of the world fading away. And as you pulled back, Draco’s eyes following your every movement, you knew that despite everything, despite his possessiveness and the occasional bouts of jealousy, there was nowhere else you’d rather be.
You were walking down the corridor, the ancient stone walls lined with flickering torches, casting long shadows that danced across the floor. You were deep in conversation with Theo Nott, the two of you laughing softly about a joke he had just made. The atmosphere was relaxed, and you were enjoying the ease of Theo's company—he was always good for a light-hearted chat, his humour dry and his demeanour calm.
Draco caught sight of the two of you from the other end of the corridor. His eyes narrowed, a dark glint flashing in the grey depths as he watched Theo lean slightly closer to you, his lips curved in a smile that made something twist uncomfortably in Draco’s chest. He strode forward, his footsteps echoing off the stone floor, his eyes fixed solely on you. Without sparing Theo so much as a glance, Draco slipped his hand into yours, his grip firm and possessive.
“Draco,” you greeted, a hint of surprise colouring your voice as you looked up at him. “We were just—”
“Leaving,” Draco cut you off, his voice cold as he shot Theo a pointed look, his gaze hard and unyielding.
Theo just chuckled, clearly used to Draco's possessive antics. He gave you a knowing look, his eyes twinkling with amusement as he raised his hands in mock surrender. “Alright, alright. I’ll see you later,” he said, his tone light, before turning and walking away, his laughter echoing softly down the corridor.
You turned back to Draco, raising an eyebrow, your lips pressing together in a thin line that barely concealed your amusement. “Really?” you asked, your voice laced with exasperation. “You’re going to scare off all my friends.”
Draco just smirked, his expression entirely unapologetic as he pulled you closer, his arm sliding around your waist. “Good,” he murmured, his tone smug. “Less competition.”
You huffed, shaking your head, but you couldn’t deny the way your heart raced when he pulled you against him, his body warm and solid next to yours. There was something about the way he held you, the way he seemed to need you so completely, that sent a thrill through you—a mix of frustration and undeniable affection. His lips brushed against your forehead, the contact gentle, almost tender, and you felt your irritation melt away, replaced by a warmth that spread through your chest.
“I don’t want to share you. Ever,” Draco whispered, his voice low, the words almost a growl. His eyes darkened, the silver depths stormy as they met yours, and he leaned in, his lips hovering just above yours, so close you could feel his breath against your skin.
You swallowed, your heart pounding in your chest, your fingers curling into the fabric of his robes. “Draco...” you began, but your voice trailed off, the intensity in his gaze stealing the words from your lips.
“And I mean it,” he continued, his voice barely above a whisper, the dangerous edge in his tone unmistakable. “I don’t care who it is, I won’t let anyone take you away from me.”
There was a promise in his words, a dark, unyielding determination that made your breath hitch. His eyes searched yours, looking for any sign of doubt, any hint that you might not feel the same. But all he found was the steady affection in your gaze, the way your eyes softened as you looked at him, and slowly, the tension in his shoulders eased.
You reached up, your hand cupping his cheek, your thumb brushing lightly over his skin. “No one’s going to take me away from you, Draco,” you said softly, your voice steady despite the rapid beat of your heart. “You don’t need to worry about that.”
For a moment, he didn’t say anything, his eyes searching yours, and then, finally, he nodded, his forehead resting against yours. His breath was shaky as he exhaled, the storm in his eyes slowly calming. “I just... I can’t lose you,” he murmured, his voice so soft you almost didn’t hear it.
Your heart ached at the vulnerability in his words, the fear that he tried so hard to hide. You leaned in, pressing your lips to his in a gentle kiss, your fingers tangling in his hair as you tried to convey everything you felt for him—all the love, all the reassurance. “You won’t,” you whispered against his lips. “I promise.”
Draco’s arms tightened around you, pulling you even closer, and he deepened the kiss, his lips moving against yours with a desperate sort of need, as if he was trying to pour all of his emotions into that one moment. When he finally pulled back, his eyes were softer, the harsh edge gone, replaced by something warmer, something that made your heart swell.
“Alright,” he whispered, his lips curving into a small smile. “Just... stay close, yeah?”
You smiled, nodding as you rested your head against his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart. “Always,” you promised, your arms wrapping around him as you closed your eyes, content to stay like that, wrapped up in Draco’s embrace, the rest of the world fading away.
The corridor around you was empty now, the echoes of Theo’s laughter long gone, and it was just the two of you, standing there in the dim light of the flickering torches. And as Draco held you, his arms wrapped around you protectively, you knew that despite his flaws, despite his possessiveness, there was nowhere else you’d rather be.
Draco was lounging on the couch in the Slytherin common room, his long legs stretched out, his fingers idly flipping through the pages of a book he wasn’t really reading. The emerald flames in the fireplace cast flickering shadows across his face, the soft glow highlighting the sharp angles of his features. The common room was filled with the usual evening buzz—laughter, conversation, the crackling of the fire. Pansy Parkinson sat nearby, her voice carrying as she shared some gossip, her laughter ringing out and drawing Draco’s half-hearted attention.
But his focus shifted entirely when you walked in, your laughter joining Pansy’s, light and genuine, as you responded to something she had said. His eyes immediately locked onto you, a flicker of something dark crossing his expression. You looked so at ease, so happy, and while Draco loved seeing you smile, he couldn’t help the possessive pang that tightened in his chest when he saw you laughing with someone else.
His gaze followed you as you crossed the room, weaving your way through the groups of Slytherins scattered around, until you reached him. Without hesitation, you plopped down next to him, your shoulder brushing against his, your presence immediately grounding him. He didn’t say a word at first, just slipped his arm around your waist and pulled you into his lap, his other hand resting on your thigh as if to stake his claim.
“What’s so funny?” he asked, his voice casual, though you could hear the edge to it, the subtle note of irritation that betrayed his jealousy.
You smiled, your eyes meeting his as you reached up to run your fingers through his hair, the soft strands slipping through your fingertips. “Nothing you need to worry about,” you said lightly, your tone teasing, trying to soothe the tension you could feel radiating from him.
Draco huffed, his chin coming to rest on your shoulder, his breath warm against your neck. He was silent for a moment, his eyes closing briefly as he inhaled your scent, letting it calm the unease bubbling beneath the surface. “I don’t like you laughing with other people,” he muttered, his voice barely audible, but the words were laced with a vulnerability that made your heart ache.
You rolled your eyes, though the affectionate smile on your lips softened the gesture. “You’re ridiculous,” you murmured, tilting your head to press a gentle kiss to his temple, your lips lingering for a moment.
Draco’s lips twitched into a small smile, his eyes opening to meet yours, the storm in them easing slightly. “Maybe,” he conceded, his tone lighter, almost playful. “But I’m your ridiculous.”
His fingers trailed along your waist, a feather-light touch that sent shivers down your spine. He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against your ear, his voice dropping to a whisper, the words meant only for you. “Just remember that, alright? You’re mine. I don’t share.”
There was an edge to his words, a possessiveness that made your heart skip a beat, and you could feel the intensity of his gaze, the way his eyes bored into yours, as if daring you to contradict him. His grip on your waist tightened, almost bruising, and he pulled you even closer, his body flush against yours.
You swallowed, your heart pounding, but there was no fear—only a thrill that coursed through you, a heady mix of affection and excitement. You knew how deeply Draco felt, how fiercely he loved, and though his possessiveness could be overwhelming, it was also a testament to how much you meant to him.
“You don’t need to worry about that,” you whispered, your lips brushing against his jaw as you spoke. “I’m not going anywhere, Draco.”
He let out a slow breath, his eyes softening as they searched yours, as if trying to gauge the sincerity in your words. Slowly, the tension in his body began to ease, his grip on your waist loosening just a fraction, enough to let you breathe, but still holding you close. He leaned in, his forehead pressing against yours, his eyes closing as he exhaled, the storm within him finally settling.
“I just... I can’t stand the thought of losing you,” he murmured, his voice so soft it was almost a sigh, the words raw and unguarded. It wasn’t often that Draco allowed himself to be vulnerable, to let you see the fear that lurked beneath his confident exterior, but in moments like this, you saw him—truly saw him.
Your heart swelled, and you cupped his cheek, your thumb brushing gently over his skin. “You won’t,” you promised, your voice steady, filled with all the love you felt for him. “I’m yours, Draco. Always.”
A small smile tugged at his lips, and he leaned in, capturing your lips in a kiss that was soft, tender, a stark contrast to the earlier possessiveness. His fingers tangled in your hair, his other arm wrapped securely around your waist, holding you close as if to prove to himself that you were really there, that you were his.
When he pulled back, his eyes were lighter, the darkness that had clouded them earlier gone, replaced by a warmth that made your heart flutter. “Alright,” he whispered, his forehead resting against yours once more. “Just... stay close, yeah?”
You smiled, nodding as you wrapped your arms around his neck, your fingers playing with the hair at the nape of his neck. “Always,” you repeated, your voice a soft promise, one that you intended to keep.
The common room continued to buzz around you, the laughter and conversation of your fellow Slytherins filling the space, but it all seemed distant, the rest of the world fading into the background. In that moment, it was just you and Draco, wrapped up in each other, the rest of the world inconsequential.
Draco’s arms tightened around you, his eyes closing as he buried his face in the crook of your neck, a content sigh escaping him. And as you sat there, cradled in his embrace, you knew that despite his flaws, despite his jealousy and possessiveness, there was nowhere else you’d rather be. You loved him—every part of him, even the parts that were rough around the edges—and you knew that he loved you just as fiercely, just as completely.
The sun was warm on your face as you sat in the courtyard, your friends around you, their laughter and light-hearted conversation filling the air. It was one of those rare, perfect afternoons—sunshine filtering through the branches of the nearby trees, a gentle breeze stirring the leaves, and the sound of distant bird song adding to the tranquillity. You stretched your legs out, feeling the warmth of the stone beneath you, content in the easy company of your friends.
But the tranquillity didn’t last long. A shadow fell over your group, and you looked up to see Draco Malfoy striding towards you, his presence unmistakable, his posture radiating his usual arrogance. His silver eyes were fixed solely on you, a determined glint in their depths, as if he had a singular purpose in mind. He ignored everyone else, his gaze unwavering as it locked onto you.
“Come on, we’re leaving,” he said, his tone making it clear that there was no room for argument. His voice carried that authoritative note that left little to be questioned, a voice that often made people obey without hesitation.
Your friends exchanged amused looks, some of them raising their eyebrows in silent laughter, clearly used to Draco’s possessiveness. You let out a sigh, rolling your eyes but standing up nonetheless. “You know, you could at least pretend to be polite,” you said, raising an eyebrow at him, your tone lightly teasing as you brushed your robes off.
Draco smirked, his hand slipping into yours with a familiarity that spoke of both habit and need. He squeezed your hand slightly as he looked down at you, his expression entirely unapologetic. “Why?” he drawled, his tone dripping with arrogance. “They already know I’m better than them.”
You rolled your eyes again, though you couldn’t help the small smile that tugged at your lips. There was something so quintessentially Draco about his behaviour, and despite your exasperation, you found it endearing. “You’re impossible,” you muttered, shaking your head.
“And yet, you’re still here,” he shot back, his voice laced with that same arrogance, but his eyes softened as he looked at you, something vulnerable flickering in their depths. He tugged you a little closer, his thumb brushing over the back of your hand as he pulled you away from your friends.
He leaned closer, his lips brushing against your ear, his voice lowering to a whisper that only you could hear. “Because you know no one else could ever treat you the way I do. No one else is good enough for you.” There was a possessiveness to his words, an edge that made your heart skip a beat, the intensity of his emotions almost overwhelming.
His grip on your hand tightened as he led you away, and you could feel the possessiveness radiating off of him, the way his body seemed to curl protectively towards yours, as if shielding you from everyone else. It was as though, in his mind, the world was full of threats, and only he could keep you safe, only he was worthy enough to have you by his side.
You cast a glance over your shoulder, giving your friends a half-apologetic, half-amused smile as they waved, some of them rolling their eyes at Draco’s antics. They were used to it by now, the way Draco would swoop in and pull you away whenever he felt even the slightest bit threatened by someone else’s presence. It was part of who he was—possessive, demanding, but also fiercely devoted.
As you walked away from the courtyard, Draco’s grip on your hand never lessened. He held you close, his stride matching yours as if he needed to make sure you were right there beside him, where he believed you belonged. You could feel the tension in his body, the way his jaw was set, his eyes still stormy even as the courtyard faded from view.
“You really don’t need to be so dramatic, you know,” you said softly, glancing up at him, your tone gentle despite the teasing nature of your words. You could see the way his shoulders were still tense, the jealousy simmering just beneath the surface.
Draco’s gaze flicked down to meet yours, his eyes narrowing slightly. “I’m not being dramatic,” he insisted, his voice stubborn, though there was a hint of something more vulnerable underneath. He paused for a moment, his grip on your hand tightening just a fraction. “I just... I don’t
The sun shone brilliantly over the Black Lake, its rays shimmering on the surface of the water, creating a dazzling dance of light that seemed almost magical. You and Draco sat together by the edge of the lake, enjoying one of those rare moments of tranquillity that Hogwarts seldom allowed. The breeze was gentle, rustling the leaves of the nearby trees, and you could hear the faint call of birds in the distance. You leaned against Draco, his arm wrapped securely around your shoulders, and for a moment, it felt as though the rest of the world had disappeared.
It was peaceful. Just the two of you, with the warmth of the sun on your faces and the soft lapping of the water against the shore. You felt Draco’s steady breathing, his chest rising and falling in a calming rhythm that made you relax further into his embrace. His presence was comforting, a solid anchor in the midst of all the chaos that life at Hogwarts often brought.
“You know, you don’t have to get so jealous all the time,” you said, breaking the silence. Your voice was soft, meant to be gentle rather than accusatory, as you turned your head slightly to look up at him.
Draco’s jaw tensed for a moment, and he huffed, his gaze shifting to the shimmering surface of the lake. “I’m not jealous,” he replied, his tone defensive, though it lacked its usual bite. “I just don’t trust other people around you.” His eyes narrowed slightly, his expression hardening for a second before it softened again, his vulnerability showing through.
You smiled, your heart warming at his honesty. You turned in his arms, shifting so you could see his face fully, your fingers reaching up to brush a stray lock of platinum hair away from his forehead. “You’re impossible, you know that?” you said, your voice holding a teasing note, though the affection behind your words was clear.
Draco’s gaze finally met yours, and you watched as his expression softened, the tension in his features easing. The corners of his lips tugged upwards slightly, a faint smile breaking through. “Maybe,” he conceded, his voice quieter now, almost a murmur. “But you love me anyway.”
You leaned in, your eyes locking onto his, and you pressed a soft kiss to his lips. It was gentle, reassuring, a promise wrapped in a simple touch. When you pulled back, your eyes met his, and you smiled. “Yeah, I do,” you whispered, the sincerity in your voice leaving no room for doubt.
Draco’s smirk returned, a bit more pronounced this time, and he pulled you closer against him, his arm tightening around your shoulders. “Good,” he said, his voice a little rough, but there was a tenderness there too. “Because I’m not planning on letting you go.”
His fingers traced lazy patterns along your arm, the sensation sending shivers down your spine. He tightened his grip on you, his eyes locking onto yours with an intensity that made your breath hitch. “You belong to me,” he said, his voice low, a possessive edge to his words. “And I don’t care who knows it. I’ll fight anyone who thinks they can take you from me.”
His gaze bore into yours, the sincerity and desperation in his expression making your heart skip a beat. He leaned down, his forehead resting against yours, his eyes closing for a moment as he let out a slow breath. “You’re everything to me,” he continued, his voice softer now, raw with emotion, “and I won’t let anything—or anyone—come between us. Ever.”
There was an intensity in his voice, a raw honesty that made your heart swell with emotion. Draco wasn’t just possessive—he was desperate, and the way he held onto you made it clear that he would do whatever it took to keep you by his side. You could feel it in the way his fingers tightened against your arm, in the way his body seemed to curl protectively around yours, as if shielding you from any unseen threat.
You reached up, your fingers brushing against his cheek, and he leaned into your touch, his eyes fluttering open to meet yours. “I know,” you whispered, your voice steady, full of affection. “And I’m not going anywhere, Draco. You don’t need to worry about that.”
He didn’t say anything for a moment, just stared at you, his grey eyes searching your face as if trying to find any hint of doubt. When he found none, he let out a shaky breath, his lips curving into a small smile. “You promise?” he asked, his voice barely more than a whisper, the vulnerability in his words making your chest tighten.
You smiled, nodding as you pressed another kiss to his lips, lingering for a moment before pulling back. “I promise,” you said softly, your forehead resting against his. “Always.”
Draco’s arms tightened around you, pulling you even closer, and he buried his face in the crook of your neck, his breath warm against your skin. You could feel the tension slowly leaving his body, replaced by a sense of calm that seemed to wash over both of you. The sun continued to shine down, the gentle breeze rustling the leaves, and for that moment, everything felt perfect.
You closed your eyes, your fingers running through his hair as you held him, the two of you wrapped up in each other. The world around you seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of you by the lake, lost in your own little bubble of peace and love. Despite everything—the jealousy, the possessiveness, the fear—you knew that Draco loved you fiercely, completely, and there was nowhere else you’d rather be than right there, in his arms, by the Black Lake, with the sun shining down and the promise of forever hanging in the air between you.

soooo like idk if u write angst. But from ur page i feel like u would be good at it. Maybe like a theo x slytherin!reader who like gets bullied by them and it’s kinda unrequited love and one day she gets entirely done with them and doesn’t leave her room for a while because something happened. Then classic theodore nott goes for a smoke seeing her alone in the courtyard or something and feels a little bad and they talk and he realizes how much of a dick him and his friends are because reader “is so done with all the shit” and plans to try and leave
bully theo nott x slytherin reader
not exactly sure what to title this one but i hope it’s enjoyable, i don’t do angst much but it’s so much funnn

𓆙
while going to hogwarts seemed to have been most young wizards escape, you unfortunately didn’t have the luxury of seeing it that way. ever since you’ve started at hogwarts and were sorted into slytherin you haven’t had such an easy time. granted now that you’re a 6th year you have a few friends, however one thing stayed the same since you’ve started; you were constantly bullied by the most popular of the slytherins.
you genuinely didn’t understand what made them dislike you so much, you didn’t agree with their pureblood praises though you were a pureblood yourself. maybe it could’ve been the fact that you weren’t necessarily the richest, coming from a lower class wizarding bloodline nobody knew of your family and simply getting the money together for your school supplies was often a challenge.
you tried everything you could to drown out any bullying, trying your best not to let any of it effect you or your studies. unfortunately due to you also being a slytherin not even your common room was an escape for you.
walking out your dorm as quietly as possible you held a book tight to your chest tiptoeing down the stairs making your way to a secluded chair, you sat down in front of the low fire and read to yourself silently for a few minutes before hearing laughter echoing from down the hall muffled voices becoming clearer and clearer.
trying to ignore the voices you regrettably recognized you kept your head down and in your book, not even reading the words simply trying to keep your breath at an even pace. “mate is that y/n” said a muffled voice. not looking up you closed your eyes tightly really hoping to be left alone. you had hoped coming down at one in the morning would give your freedom, not anxiety.
before you could process it there were footsteps heading towards you and a flick on your forehead “are you that dumb that you can’t even read a book, i mean don’t know your eyes have to be open for that” mattheo laughed at his own joke elbowing theo who was egging him on chuckling himself. “don’t touch me.” you gritted through your teeth still sitting looking at both of the mocking boys.
you attempted to get up and rush off to your dorm but mattheo grabbed your arm “you didn’t answer my question, that’s soo rude” he mocked still gripping your left wrist. “let me go” you protested struggling to get your arm free as theodore watched snickering. “alright let her go i’m trying to smoke” theo huffed snatching the back of mattheos jacket and dragging him along.
a large breath you had no idea you were holding onto fell out of your mouth the second they were gone. you plopped right back down into the cold leather chair and silently sobbed. so many thoughts ran through your head about how differently you should’ve handled the situation, how you should’ve shoved him harder, maybe you should’ve screamed, maybe if you just knew how to stand up for yourself. maybe you were stupid?
everything these boys did effected you so much to the point you became a shell of the person you were. your grades weren’t the worst, but the more the boys would mock, the more they’d tell you how dumb you were that you were a lost cause, you unfortunately began to believe it even if you didn’t admit it to them directly. never giving them the satisfaction of seeing you break down, never letting them know how it effects you.
“i think you might need a jumpscare warning, next time don’t come to class if you wake up like that” draco mocked giving you a disgusted look the second you sat down on the end of the slytherin table. a small eruption of laughter fell from all of the boys and their little follower pansy parkinson. “you guys have no clue i swear this morning her eyes were so swollen she looked like she got stung by a bee” she snickered trying to gain the boys attention.
not wanting to deal with this today you got up and walked out of the great hall not looking back. you didn’t feel like you had the mental capacity to deal with them and so you made your way to the only place you knew you could breathe.
you made sure to watch out for any oncoming professors and for filtch, knowing you’re not supposed to be out on the astronomy tower at this time of day or year. the walk was as long as ever and luckily most of the halls were empty besides a few students making their way to the great hall.
finally reaching the million stairs you made your way up to the tower slowly walking up taking your time. you began to think about everything these people put you through, thinking about how much everything they do makes you hate yourself and this school more and more everyday.
not a day went by that you weren’t picked on at least once by one of them, this realization and sad reality made a stream of tears fall down your face as your legs walked up the stairs starring down onto the wooden steps.
just as you were beginning to reach the top of the steps you quietly sniffed smelling an odd odor. you couldn’t quite put your finger on what you were smelling but you continued till you were at the ledge of the astronomy tower sitting down. you sat looking out towards the clouds covering the sun and tried to control your breathing and stream of tears.
once your tears began to dry up you noticed a thick trail of smoke coming from the right of you. you looked behind you and there stood theodore nott. he walked over cautiously, and here you were coming face to face with someone you definitely did not want to see. “ah, y/n what brings you here” he spoke taking a drag of what appeared to be a cigarette. you didn’t know wether to answer or just leave but you spoke out cautiously “attempting to get away from you and your goons” you huffed turning back around to face the clouds.
“come on, you know i don’t bite” he chuckled and you just shook your head in annoyance looking back up at him, “you don’t bite yet you’ve bullied me for over six years makes perfect sense theodore” you rolled your eyes standing up to face him. “seriously.-“ he scoffed “you know i’m like the least brutal of them i don’t even touch you” he added taking another drag. it was almost as if he was mocking you even more without even realizing it.
“i don’t care if you think that just because you don’t fucking touch me that it makes it okay?? you watch your friends bully, touch, and harass me nearly everyday what about that makes you any less of an awful person than them.” you let it all out with more emotion that intended yet the small tears coming out were nothing but anger induced.
“listen y/n i didn’t think it affected you that bad we make fun of so many people” he shrugged scratching the back of his head not sure how to react to your outburst of emotions. “that’s your problem, you don’t ever realize that you’re bullying your own housemate. you and those fuckers haven’t left me alone since year one and for what? all because i stood up to a fucking bleach blonde bitch? like seriously you take orders from a daddy’s boy and a guy who’s practically an orphan.” your voice was getting louder and louder, soon enough you were face to face with him just yelling.
“look y/n im sorry okay i swear, i don’t like doing it alright why do you think i never touch you i try to get these fucking assholes to leave you alone you’re just an easy target to them” he tried pleading with you but you weren’t having any of it. “what makes you think i’ll believe you?” you scoffed “you’re trying to excuse yourself all because i stood up for myself?? and what exactly do you do to get them to leave me alone because that obviously isn’t working” your tears dried back up and now just pure anger was holding you together.
“you see when i tell them just to come on, and most times they just say something to you and don’t even touch you.” he was searching your face but your expression stayed the same “have you ever heard of telling them to just stop? and what about me seems like an easy fucking target” you didn’t know what to even ask of him anymore not even understanding yourself why you were still standing here.
“y/n come on.” he looked at you but you didn’t budge just awaiting his response. “you said it yourself you stood up to malfoy, he didn’t like that so it started it. listen overtime it got more than that i guess matt went at you cause your grades are- were better than his . and well pansy goes after you because you’re hotter than her, blaise just goes along, and enzo does whatever enzo does.” he shrugged attempting to explain this twisted reasoning.
“well why do you go after me? because all of this shit seems so unserious for all of you to make me want to leave hogwarts and even this world all together.” you scoffed still heated at these other absurd reasons. he looked at you for a moment contemplating before he sighed “look i really am sorry i didn’t know it was that bad” he pleaded ignoring your question.
“i don’t care if you’re sorry or not that doesn’t take back all of these years theodore. and besides you don’t even have the fucking balls to tell me why you bully me so obviously you don’t feel sorry” you began walking away from him and he reached out grabbing your arm “y/n i just told you so many times i tried getting them to stop, look i don’t know why and i don’t expect you to feel the same but i just over the years ive wanted you more and more and look i just knew i couldn’t ever have you.” he loooked away yet still held onto your arm.
you stood there almost in shock. here you were complaining about everything your bullies put you through to one of those said bullies, and he confessed his crush on you. you didn’t respond just staring at him. “what.” you managed to let out. “i know it’s insane.” he sighed “look i don’t expect you to forgive me but i’ll try and get them to back off.” he spoke up letting go of your arm and walking off.
you didn’t follow or speak up to him, just allowing him to make his way back wherever he came from. sitting back down at the railing you took a deep breath trying to piece together what exactly just happened.

the imagery for that whole paragraph is STUNNING! I can imagine it so perfectly in my mind with the way you describe it. Istg the way you describe things is pure art in and of itself
!!!Thank you!! I find that I really like writing descriptive scenes. That is also why I struggled a little with the dialogue in the beginning, because up until the key, all the short stories I've written have no dialogue at all. I love love love describing spaces, feelings, and the character's metal state. I think they can be used by the reader to better insert themselves in the scene.
I love that you added this in cause I’m betting a lot of people might’ve been questioning if it was Zeke too
Yes! Its a logical conclusion on a surface level, but we must not forget that the Scouts had absolutely no idea that the Volunteers were a thing, and much less that they worked under Zeke. Also, it would be impossible to send anything to the island prior to Yelena's ship, as there were no other shipments to the island from anyone else, and Paradis does not have any radio technology yet.
same Reader saaaame! I can imagine it so perfectly in my head too the little smile he gave us 🤭 got me giggling and shit
Meeeee!! My sister is used to my bs so she didn't question me when I started giggling in front of my computer lmaoo
so I’m guessing then based off that line that I was right to have guessed last chapter that it is due to his future memories that he knows Readers name. That’s so interesting and I’m curious to see Eren potentially tell Reader all about that and just see what he knows
Ding ding ding! You were right on the money. I like the idea that, just as aot is a timeloop of sorts, fics are timeloops too. So I incorporated than into the key. My reasoning is: if Y/n is going to be an important part of the story, and future!Eren sends key memories to his younger self, then why would she not appear in the memories? Kinda spoilery but not really because its an Eren fic, he knows (being the Attack Titan) how the government or military would react to a random girl, much younger than any of the Volunteers, arriving to the island, and then becoming close to The scout squad. So in order to ensure her safety he ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ (<- you can probably guess but I'm keeping it hidden for my own enjoyment lol)
AHHHHHHHH THE TAPESTRY LINE AGAIN!? it’s so gooooddd!!! I’m so happy you used that metaphor again! I love especially that you used it for this line here “…a loose thread will ultimately be pulled by an unknown force, sending you tumbling down once again.” It’s just such a good metaphor and I love the way you’ve been using it
Tapestry metaphor! Tapestry metaphor! Tapestry metaphor! Metaphors and anaphoras my true loves.
girl I don’t know why you were scared about writing the scouts wrong! I love the way you wrote Hange. I thought you captured her more… eccentric and dramatic (idk what other words to use) personality really well and I also loved how you wrote Levi’s distrust of the volunteers
Aughhhh thank you! I always get nervous when writing new characters but they always end up writing themselves. Levi is def not trusting the Volunteers, but does he trust Y/n? probably not guess you'll have to wait and see.
oooo that’s interesting. I’m excited to see what they wanna do with Reader
:DDDDDDD
Anyway, thanks for writing out your thoughts! I always look forward to reading what you thought about the chapter, as well as any theories you have for me. Thank you for reading!

𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐀𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔 are taken aback is a gross understatement; you’re utterly stunned. Your eyes widen a fraction, and for a millisecond the air, the ocean, and your heart all still.
Never in your dreams –well, maybe some of them– would you have thought that your name would come out of his mouth seconds after meeting you. There are no introductions to serve as prelude to his words, no past interactions to serve as crutch for rationalization.
The gleaming moonlight is suddenly much more brilliant, bathing you both in silver rays. Your hair sways in the salty ocean breeze, and so does his, matching yours in a gentle rhythm. The wind is much calmer than the storm that heralded your arrival, air strangely warmer despite the environment that would suggest otherwise.
Your name in his lips is not a question, but rather an answer.
He, somehow, knows who you are, as his tone does not ask if that is your name, but instead states it with the certainty only someone familiar with another can. It is strange, how his eyes speak of understanding, how his stance speaks of kinship.
You are frozen in place for what seems like eternity, but is likely just a couple of seconds. Hange’s enthusiastic voice is lost in the pulse of the sea’s waves, in the drum of your heart, in the whisper of breath of your unasked questions.
How? Is the first one your mind asks.
Zeke, you reply, before discarding the idea. It is neither logically sound nor something coherent with the instructions and warnings you were given. The Scouts never knew about the Volunteers before they set foot on the island, never considered such an organization's existence in the first place, and much less one that Zeke led.
Invariably, you know him.
Unexpectedly, he knows you.
“What?” you instead ask out loud, when you notice that he is searching your response for confirmation.
You hesitate with your question, not unlike when you first asked Yelena who she was. It is terrifying how, just when you feel you have a grasp on what is happening, the rug is pulled from your feet and you are left dazed and confused on the floor.
It makes you think that when you reweave a new carpet from your loom, when you believe you can see the whole picture it depicts, a loose thread will ultimately be pulled by an unknown force, sending you tumbling down once again.
You are a bit embarrassed of yourself when he gives you a small smile and your stomach flutters just as your cheeks heat up. Maybe this is a dream you think, and it's not the first time that you are hesitant to accept reality, but it is the first occasion that you don't compare it to a nightmare.
“Don’t pretend like you dont know me,” he says, further baffling you. “We both know way too much for that.”
“We do?” you ask, before correcting your tone. “We do.”
Eren tilts his head slightly, transferring his weight from one foot to another. “Yeah.”
You’ve noticed that there is a lot of space for silence in your life. Whether it contains unsaid secrets, unasked questions, or unresolved doubts, it always lingers behind you, never broken, never explained.
And yet now, even with the uncertainty with which you approach the newborn conversation, there is implied solidarity in his words, in his actions. Eren didn’t try to pretend he was ignorant of you for the sake of having aces under his sleeve, nor did he attempt to trade that tidbit of information for another.
Instead he came down the hill –because you are certain he was given explicit orders to not approach the ship’s crew– and talked to you, making it known that you had a connection. One that may only be just brought forth, but that came to life months before your first meeting, when he received his medal and his memories and his burden, and when you watched his story and his rage and his salvation.
You hear a whistle in the distance, and you whip your head towards its source, the sand and rock shore where the two Volunteers and two Scouts remain. You glance at them, too far away to distinguish their faces, their number, but knowing anyways who it is that stands there. Or maybe not, but you couldn't bear to think that your information was now obsolete.
“I have to go,” you confess as if it is a great sin.
Eren, who also turned his eyes to the shrill whistle, looks at you again. You swear his eyes soften, and gleam with something akin to… beholding? As quickly as these thoughts enter your mind you dismiss them, because, even if he could claim to know you through his future memories, it doesn’t excuse what you think you see. And so, you conclude it must be a trick of the light and of your perceived closeness to him through his story.
He nods, not moving from his place between the dunes. You swallow, also not wanting to withdraw, but then you blink and the spell is broken on your end. The sand once again crunches underfoot, but then you stop when he calls your name again in a soft voice that is carried your way by the salty breeze. And so you cast your eyes upon him again, humming questioningly.
“Tell them your name,” is what Eren says after a moment. “They don't know,” he continues, infusing the word with weight, “but they learned.”
And it should be painfully awkward, how blunt questions and half finished answers are being thrown about, but there is no discomfort in the exchange. You know, and he knows, and you hadn’t realized how refreshing it was to just be, not relieved from the burdens but breathing in spite of them. You wonder if he has come to the same realization.
“I will,” you say. “Thank you.”
“I’ll find you later,” he says.
“Yeah,” you answer, almost tripping over your words. “Okay.”
You dont think to ask why until much later, when your feet have already taken you to the other side of the pier, sand crunching rhythmically under your robotic footsteps. Why he would tell you, and why now, and why in that way. But the more you delve into it, the more obvious it becomes.
Eren knows what is supposed to happen (giant footsteps and crunching bones and the spray of blood and–) and is, in his eyes, powerless to do anything but follow the path already established by his future self, who is likewise chained by the same revelations. Perhaps you are as well, if the haunted look in his eyes is any indication of the unstoppable future that will be realized in a little more than three years.
Still, everyone seeks salvation, even those who sacrifice themselves in order to save others. You and him are no exception.
You will save him from his preordained fate, determined by his past, by his future. He will save you from your uncertain destiny, shrouded in mystery and paradoxes.
Maybe you don't need to reweave a new tapestry just yet; maybe it's enough to only untangle the yarn.
Tumblr media
Hange Zoë is no less enthusiastic than the character you used to watch on Tv. Levi Ackerman is no less distrustful than the man you read manga about. They haven’t greeted you yet, as you’ve only just arrived to stand behind Yelena, next to Onyankopon.
He glances at you when you arrive, silently asking with his eyes what held you back. You shake your head almost imperceptibly, imploring that neither he nor Yelena press the issue.
“Is that her?” Hange chirps, curiously referring to you.
You almost want to look behind you, to see if there's anyone else they might have been talking about, but you know there is no one else in your vicinity, and you're the only one who has approached recently enough to warrant the question.
“She is the last one.” Yelena says. “Please excuse her tardiness.”
“Oh! Well, in that case it's so nice to meet–”
“Four eyes,” Levi interrupts. “Now's not the time for chit-chat.” He turns to glance at you, before returning to look at Yelena, the de facto leader. “Expect the ship to be searched while we escort you three to our base.”
“I would expect nothing less,” is what Yelena responds. “Your caution is commentable.”
“Sure,” Levi says dryly, not an ounce of belief in his voice, signaling unnamed Scouts to march onto the ship and its crew. “Get walking.”
You all file in, walking amongst the dunes and rocks, with Yelena at the helm of your little group. You feel eyes on you, but when you turn to look no one in your direct vicinity is watching. Instead, you trip when going up some slippery rocks, too preoccupied with searching for nonexistent eyes, but fortunately Onyankopon catches you, grabbing your arm to prevent your fall.
The rifle slung over his shoulder rattles with the commotion, and you feel how the others turn to look at you, before registering both your actions as non threatening.
“Careful there, kid,” Onyankopon says.
“Thanks,” you say breathlessly, heart still reeling from your near slip. “Sorry for the, uh, tardiness.”
“It's all good,” he reassures you, although you know your notoriety for being late is only growing.
You also know –well, maybe not know, but you are smart enough to deduce– that Onyankopon does want to ask you about your reasons for not heading directly to the pier after the Volunteer in charge of letting you out of your small cabin reported to his post.
But he won’t pose the question right now, where there is a great chance of being overheard, and where exchanging secrets would only cause more suspicion from the Scouts.
There is no idle chatter as you make your way to the multiple tents that make up the Scout’s base, scattered around an open field in an orderly fashion. Small yellow dots light up the entrance flaps of each green structure, and there are multiple barrels strewn around.
You once again feel eyes on you, only this time you are aware of who those eyes belong to. It is a given that the other soldiers would be apprehensive about the Volunteers sudden appearance, but you notice how their attention lingers a tad too long on you.
You force yourself not to squirm under the weight of their curiosity, of their judgment. Yelena and Onyankopon get noticed as well, but it is you that garners the most attention. Because, well, adults are what they expected Marley to send, but a teenager? Even if you are older than some of the recruits and Marley didn’t actually send you, it was still something they didn’t account for.
So it is strange, even to you, who was made aware of this prematurely, how you are included in the small group with the proclaimed leaders of the Volunteer faction. Yeah, you can see why all eyes are primarily on you.
Hange reaches a tent that seems larger than all of the others, and enters through the flap, and the rest of you follow, flanked by Levi. They grab at the knob of the hanging lantern and the space is coated with light. On the inside there is a table and red chairs, two on one side, two on the other. Hange brings a third one from a corner, raising the total to five.
“Sit, sit!” they usher you, taking their place on the other side of the table.
“Weapons on the table,” Levi says, less enthusiastically.
You don't have any weapons to turn in, so you walk towards the chair on the far right and sit, fiddling with your thumbs before you remember to quash the anxieties bubbling inside of you. There is a strong sense of deja vu when you reach for one of the teacups gingerly placed on the table, noting with some sourness how bitter tea always seems to follow you in interrogations and introductions.
You disassociate for a moment, choosing to retreat into your thoughts, rewinding your earlier interaction with Eren over and over again, not unlike what you used to do with his older brother.
What sets it apart is the intention with which you are dissecting it, turning his words upside down to squeeze more of that refreshing understanding (You know, and he knows, and you hadn’t realized how refreshing it was to just be—) out.
There is silence again, but this time it is filled with tension. You blink, unsettled by the lack of discussion between the two Volunteers and the two Scouts, only to find the later ones looking at you expectantly, Levi’s expression disguised with more finesse than Hange’s.
“…Sorry, what?” you ask.
“Your name,” Hange clarifies. “I asked for your name.”
“Oh,” you say. “It’s Y/n.”
There is something almost imperceptible in the way Hange fiddles with Yelena’s gun, a recognition in both their and Levi’s eyes that you might’ve missed were it not for Eren’s insistence in presenting yourself with your name.
You risk a glance at Yelena but her eyes are on you, not them, as are Onyankopon’s, so you let yourself breathe, halfway convinced they didn’t notice.
Hange does not miss a beat. “It’s nice to meet you Miss Y/n!” they say, drowning out your protests of Just Y/n please— and placing the gun back on the table, next to the rifle.
You nod, hesitant. “It’s nice to meet you too, uh, …?” You trail off, not remembering if they already introduced themselves or not.
“Hange Zoë, at your service!” They say, nudging Levi when he doesn’t say anything.
“Levi Ackerman.” And if you notice the distinct lack of add on like Hange’s introduction, well, that is to be expected.
Yelena takes the opportunity to steer the conversation away from pointless (to you) introductions and unimportant (to her) dialogue.
“So, about our proposal…”
She launches onto the plan you rehearsed and memorized with Zeke, drilled into your mind enough times as to prevent any slip ups of the scheme only him, Yelena, and you know.
It’s not different at all from the one presented in the series, and although you now have it branded deep in your mind, back home you had to watch several videos and read several posts in order to understand.
The beauty of Attack On Titan was in the convoluted yet intriguing plot and themes, yet sometimes you needed outside help to comprehend half of the stuff that was going on. The fact that each character has their own motivations and their own secrets on top of the changing allegiances do nothing to help.
Still, hours and hours spent scraping the wiki and watching compilations finally pay off, and you’re confident in your ability to not only remember each plan, but also the people involved and the moments in which their loyalties shifted.
The motions are well rehearsed; Zeke will contact the nation of Hizuru, and Hizuru will contact the outside world, advocating for Paradis, as well as provide the blueprints necessary to help advance the island’s technology.
The plan would take around fifty years to reach completion, the amount of time that is estimated as enough to take to bring Paradis to a similar level technology wise to the rest of modern society. There would be a small-scale Rumbling to show off the island’s power, acting as a deterrent for nations with wishes to invade.
Hange takes the gun again, pointing it directly at their face. It is unloaded, but it still unnerves you. You weren’t a gun savvy by any means, but the first thing you had been taught by Zeke when going over gun safety was to never ever point the gun at yourself, not even when it had the safety on, not even when it was unloaded.
Yelena lists off the numbers of personnel in the army, counting all the divisions; the infantry, the navy, and aerial forces. Despite Hange’s and Levi’s best attempts, it is evident how frazzled they are by the revelation.
One million foot soldiers, three fleets of twenty one battle ships each, new technologies and aerial weapons. Those are the new enemies that they must now fight against, a stark contrast to the mindless but brutal titans they are used to dealing with.
“If Marley had such capabilities the whole time, why haven’t they attacked in over a year?” asks Hange.
“There are two main reasons,” Yelena begins. “One; the Pure Titans. Even with the latest weapons available to Marley, they would hinder a land assault. Quite ironic that the very thing that is used to confine Eldians to the island also protects it from outside forces.”
“Yeah, well, ain’t that funny,” Levi says.
Yelena sips her tea. “Still, I’m impressed.”
“Impressed?” Hange asks.
Yelena doesn’t answer, choosing instead to take a sip from her cup. She looks at her right, directly at you, as if she wanted you to answer in her place. And you can't and won't ever be able to read her mind, but you’re pretty sure you can guess what she is playing at.
“It's almost dawn,” you point out. “And we are sitting in a tent drinking tea. There is no commotion outside, no one hurrying to their fighting posts. There are also no protective structures around the base, suggesting that you have exterminated almost if not all titans on the island.”
It's clear they weren't expecting you to speak. Even if Eren told them something, the most logical approach to your presence in the tent was as a buffer, something for the Scouts to pick at, to find weakness in. Yelena is helping you overcome that, because, even if it would be easier to infiltrate them if you are deemed as non-threatening, the trust that would be placed upon you should you be assessed as capable makes them want to take the gamble.
“And the second reason?” Hange asks.
“Currently, Marley is at war with multiple nations,” Yelena says. “The loss of the Colossal and Female titan, as well as the defeat of their Warrior unit has given many of their enemies the chance to unite and retaliate against Marley.”
“If you guys are secret agents who infiltrated Marley, I’m guessing you came from conquered nations?” Hange asks.
Yelena’s and Onyankopon’s faces harden– one fake, one true.
“Oh, I’m right?!,” they exclaim after. “I bet you’ve got some pretty big backers to go up against Marley then.”
“Not quite,” Yelena says, and after a moment she clarifies. “Onyankopon and I are from conquered nations, but Y/n is Eldian.” There is only one truth in her whole statement, a new record. “We were powerless, forced to play soldiers for the nation that took our homes, but Y/n was deemed a devil the moment she was born.”
The fake backstory you're using makes you a little uncomfortable, but it sure was convenient. They wanted to paint you as smart, but not too intelligent as to outsmart Paradis. Dependable, but not a pushover. Eldian, just like them, facing obstacles even when outside the walls.
You tune out Yelena praising Zeke for organizing the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers, calling him a god amongst mortals. You hoped that small, subtle discomfort showed in your face, so the two members of the Scouts present would notice that you weren't lost in reverence for Zeke.
“We are the Anti- Marleyan Volunteers,” she finishes. “Our goal: To free the Eldian people.”
Levi and Hange share glances, no doubt discussing the answer they would give.
“We would like assurance of your allegiances,” Levi says. “You will not be able to contact Eren, or any of the others for that matter, but we want the girl to come with us.”

All I’m going to say I think now that my brain remembered part of what it was thinking is that Taylor and Joe went through a lot together (good and bad) and regardless of how it ended or what led to it they both seem to be determined to keep that private and not throw each other under the bus and in the end they’re just two very, very different people whose outlooks in the long term were just never going to align and never has that been clearer.
#I AM NOT DEFENDING HIM JUST TO BE CLEAR#I’m just saying… he said a lot of nothing in those quotes beyond ‘people on the internet suck’#which is true#and both he and Taylor are keeping things close to the vest about it all#and just seems to me that whatever they went through together they are determined to keep it between them so that’s the end of that#(again in contrast to how she has no qualms about reading m for filth)#he’s just some guy and now he gets to be just some guy forever#and she gets to be extraordinary#like yes the loving committed thing raises eyebrows given how much pain she was in#but like he could have shaded her about how it ended too and he didn’t#AND I AM NOT DEFENDING HIM#we know he was a terrible partner and she felt like shit#I’m just saying neither of them want to delve into the specifics and i think they’re just moving into footnotes in each other’s lives now#like i want to make it clear AGAIN I am not condoning anything on his part here — clearly there were huge issues#I’m just saying just because he may have sucked as a partner doesn’t mean the internet being cruel isn’t also true idk#and yes it’s transparent why he’s choosing to speak out now (or rather why the Sunday times is choosing to reach out to him now)#but like… idk i just can’t muster up any feeling about this man one way or the other lol#and take cues from Taylor (and even him) she’s determined to keep it between them other than the broad strokes#so I’m following her/their lead#(like I have thoughts about why but that’s not important and ultimately is just… it’s the most normal of ltr breakups)#like he just sounds a little pretentious with his ‘real life’ which like… good on him keep living that real life you do you dude#meanwhile his ex is flourishing with every passing week and milestone and is living her unabashed best life#and they’re probably both happier for it now

I find it kinda funny that the LU boys make comments alluding to Time being grouchy and unable to “lighten up” because while he definitely can be intense and strict…otherwise he’s sorta just an introvert lol

#thoughts#oni talks#oni has a crush#sapphic yearning#I have a speed dating thing I’m going to with a friend she needs it and I already bought a ticket#but honestly I just wanna go on dates with this one girl but we’re not technically dating so that feels so silly to say#I can’t tell if it’s friendship or slowburn vibes and I don’t wanna rush into things in a toxic U-Haul way but like#idk I just wanna do cute shit together I wanna take care of her when she gets home from stuff and help her work on things#I wanna shower her in all the stuff that reminds me of her and that I think she’d like but also I don’t wanna do too much#I feel like I should not be this committed when we’re not committed but like I wanna be? i can’t tell if I’m being normal or weird#I wanna get her flowers and cuddle and shit man#I wanna do all those romantic tension things like doing each others makeup those practical massages holding hands#lap stuff and like I wanna hear about her day and stuff and I’m just like aaaahhhhh#i wanna see her flustered and happy and also I wanna be buff enough to pick her up without water#I think I’m going a little gay insane I don’t have enough experience to navigate this shit Yall#how the fuck am I supposed to tell where platonic closeness and sapphic closeness begins and ends and shit#my sentimental ass can’t stop associating her and bringing her up but I can’t see her as often now so it’s like ahhh#how am I ready to delete all my dating apps and shit and we haven’t even kissed the sapphic yearning has overtaken me yall#I keep watching sapphic shit as I do and it keeps working me the fuck up send lesbian gods or smth#we just exchanged socials so now I can bomb her with silly little gay memes and she sent me hearts and like#she got me giggling and twirling and kicking my feet and shit

me, a former homestuck cosplayer, seeing all the other alastor cosplayers at the con wearing gray facepaint:
Tumblr media
#this is purely a joke y’all looked amazing#HOWEVER it did give me flashbacks to unsealed paint on fucking EVERY goddamn thing#also I definitely should have worn a wig but I think if something (except like two specific hats) touches my head I will explode#I looked weird with my normal hair but it’s fine it’s fine don’t worry about it#going to a con in November and tbh I may just dye my hair red rather than wear a wig#idk how I would do the black tips impermanently lol I do not actually want to have the fuckass bob in real life#maybe hair wax or something idk#I used that once and it was a sensory hell but if it’s just on the ends maybe it would be okay#the perils of playing dress up I guess man idk#I have some Plans for my next alastor cosplay though (rubbing my gay little hands together)#once I’m not in crisis mode I want to work on it so bad#bc man. I have Ideas.#v excited to do a masquerade al#time to do something overly ambitious babeyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!#got a Definitely Not Questionable deer skull mask a while ago and stripped off all the feathers and beads and stuff#found some extremely cheap restoration grill cloth on ebay that I’m gonna glue onto it#I wanna get some fake Spanish moss or something to drape over the antlers#I have a list of possible designs to make in glitter/sequins to make the mask more masqueradey too#so far it’s mostly just bayou plants that have names that are juuuust close enough to something alastor-related to be funny to me#no one else will get it or find it funny but that’s okay 👍#trying to think of a way to incorporate a kind of jazzy motif without resorting to like. notes and clefs bc that’s a bit on the nose idk#maybe I’m just thinking too hard about this#also thinking of a stylized superhet circuit diagram (or part of it lol)#yes I have 500 ideas no the mask isn’t big enough to accommodate even 5 of them probably#I also have an old burgundy cloak that would be perfecttttt#I think underneath it I will just wear the normal attire to not venture TOO far from canon lol#so like the red shirt with the cross and the black pants and his lil deerprint dress shoes#I gotta fix the bow tie from this last con bc I forgot the middle was red and ended up cutting up a christmas decoration to sew on lmao#I wanna use something satin so it matches the texture of the rest of the tie lol#idk!!!! I am just excited about this :>
