A/N: I though of a situation of pranking someone then causing trouble with another situation👍

"Give me that." Ingrid snatched away the sharpie you had. "Hey! I'm using that for my notes.

"A sharpie for your notes, really?" She put her hands on her hips and gave you a mom look. You were sitting in the trunk of her car doing the remainder of your 'school work'. At least that's what you told her you were going to do.

"Yes, people do that; you haven't been to school in like 15 years, so you wouldn't know," you shrugged. Ingrid shook her head. "You always complain about the smell of sharpies, and you’re calling me old; this is such an old prank.

She was talking about the sign you had; 'kick me' it read, and it was supposed to go on Patri's back. "So, it will still be funny to see.

You took the paper back, applied tape to it, and shoved all your material back into your bag. "Don't be a snitch," you told Ingrid, and skipped away.

"Hey, Patri," you said joyfully as you hit her back, applying the note. "You're happier than usual," she said suspiciously. "Of course I am; I'm officially on Christmas break." She smiled at that; now you were off the radar.

"Ay!" You turned as you heard Patri yell, seeing Claudia there giggling as Patri held her butt. "You said to do it." Patri looked confused at what Claudia said but just went on with training.

It kept happening as training went on. Aitana, Ona, Lucy, Salma, Oshoala, Mapi, Jana, Cata, and Gemma all kicked her.

Ingrid would just shake her head at you when you walked or ran past her. All the older girls, too, knew you were the reason for that sign on Patri's back. Everyone did, but they decided to ignore it and let you have your fun.

It was a harmless prank anyway.

"Okay, what the heck is going on?!" Patri demanded as she entered the locker room after a long training session. You held a smile as everyone turned to her, confused. You looked down as Alexia gave you a look, and you were surprised she didn't say anything about it.

You were already changed and only waiting on Alexia; you were the first one in the locker room, knowing you would have to make a quick escape.

"Why is everyone kicking me today?" Everyone shrugged at Patri's question; she scowled and got changed.

You stared at her as she took off her shirt. You quickly grabbed your bag, grabbed Alexia's hand, and dragged her outside.

"Y/N!" You heard Patri yell, and you bolted. Alexia sighed as she ran with you, already used to this.

It happened every training, and she just went along with it now since it put you in a good mood instead of a crappy teenager attitude.

"Are you ready?" Alexia knocked on your door, "wait, I'm packing." "For what? It's just a gathering." You rolled your eyes as you fed Piggy and put her into your bag, leaving it a little bit open.

"Okay, I'm ready." Alexia gave you a look; she knew you were up to something. "Why are you taking a bag?" "I always carry a bag with me," you said.

The team was having a little gathering to celebrate the last game of 2023.

"We're already late because of you; I told you to be ready by 4; it's already 6," she scolded. "I fell asleep; Lucy says I need my rest to grow," you tried defending. "Get in the car."

When you got to Frido's place, you rushed to find Patri and sat next to her. She gave you a little glare and went back to watching the movie Frido had put on. Everyone else was too busy drinking and talking outside or in the kitchen about the upcoming games.

"Patri," she turned to you, "yes." "Can you help me prank Aitana and Ona?" She smiled a bit; she was happy it wasn't her again.

"What's your idea?" You grabbed your backpack and took out the tiny box. A tiny box that had a tiny spider. The "tiny spider" was a tarantula.

"How the hell do you have that?!" She said in shock, and you shushed her. "Her name is Piggy, and I got her yesterday." Patri looked terrified as she scooted over a little bit.

"Does Alexia know?" You shook your head. "I need to tell her because I need to get Piggy a home." "Then how did you get her?" "Mapi took me; I told her I was getting fish food, and she didn't question why I had a box or if I even had a fish." Patri shook her head.

"You have to promise me you won't prank me anymore for a month," she said, holding out her pinky, and you took the deal.

Patri went up to Aitana and Ona, who were in conversation and drinking together in the kitchen. She grabbed them by their shoulders and dragged them outside.

You followed but got run over by Lucy. You dropped the box, and Piggy automatically crawled away, sick of being in that tiny box. "Jeez, sorry kid." Lucy helped you up. You looked around on the floor, and your heart dropped when you realized you couldn't find Piggy.

"Lucy, Piggy is gone," you said in a panic. "Who's Piggy?" She questioned, but you guys heard a scream. A loud, loud scream. "Shit," you cursed as you ran to the kitchen.

"No!" You yelled, seeing Frido holding a shoe in her hand, ready to destroy Piggy. "Piggy!" You yelled as you ran and picked her up.

"Why do you have a tarantula!?" Keira yelled as she stood on the counter. "I adopted her," you told them, and they both looked at you in shock.

"Alexia let you get a spider?!" Lucy said surprised. Alexia walked in; her eyes widening when she saw what you were holding.

"Where- how did you. You're returning that." She let out a sigh as she shook her head and walked away. "Great, I'm in trouble now. Good going, Lucy," you said, sticking out your tongue at her.

You walked outside, looking sad. "What's wrong, Amiga?" Patri asked, confused. "Alexia said I have to return Piggy." Aitana's jaw dropped as she saw what you had in your hand.

"Nope," she simply said as she went back inside, dragging Ona with her. Patri looked at you and patted your shoulder in sympathy, but quickly backed away when you lifted Piggy up to her.

You had a plan, though, and you knew Alexia would let you keep Piggy.

For having to return your pet Tarantula you were already attached to, you were quite happy. Alexia was just glad you weren't going to throw a tantrum about it.

She was leaving to pick Olga up from the airport, and you were waiting to put on your class act. "I'll be back in a bit; please don't break anything." You nodded, and she left.

You sat patiently by the door, working up your tears. You rushed to your feet once it opened. Alexia walking in first with Olga's luggage. Then Olga walked in.

"Olga!" You cried out, running straight into her arms. Alexia looked confused on why you were crying. "What happened?" She asked, confused.

"Olga, I got a pet Tarantula, and Alexia is trying to make me take her back," you cried, and Olga glared at Alexia. "Bebe, you can't have a tarantula," Alexia tried explaining.

"Yes, I can! I bought her, and I love her, so she's mine," Alexia groaned as Olga smacked her on the shoulder.

"Okay, you can keep her, but she's your responsibility, and I want you to keep her far away from me." You nodded.

"Okay, now that's sorted, let's go out to eat, yeah?" Olga said as she wiped your tears. You nodded happily and skipped off to your room.

You grinned as you texted Patri the good news and got ready. With the look Olga kept giving Alexia, you knew Alexia was sleeping on the couch tonight.

Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War - two students are in love with eachother but refuse to "lose" and admit their feelings. Instead, they have increasingly convoluted plans to get the other to confess.

Okay I will admit. this Is a romance and also ive only seen the anime. So actually this would fall more under anime recs bcs the english dub voice acting is AMAZING. Anyway tho its a comedy that I really enjoy. Its about romance but like. Idk I dont read/watch romance often so I cant say "its not like the standard romance plot". But its less about them Falling In Love and more about them Overthinking Everything And Being Silly. ALSO !! tho it takes a bit, it does go into the characters a lot. Very centred on the characters relationships !! Not just romantically between the main two, but in general.

Why I think you would like it: similar in "vibe" to nozaki-kun. Funny!! But it has its moments of seriousness and it understands its characters well.

Mushishi - Eye Have Not Read This im sorry 🙏 i havent even seen the anime so I dont actually know much about it but ive been recced it so many times I figure I should pass it to you.

This one is a little sad. More likeeee. Meloncholy, yk? I dont have much to say about it. Very good manga.

Why I think you would like it: The character relationship between the two girls seems like something you would enjoy.

Look Back - to be super honest its been over a year since I read this I dont fully remember what happens. Theres this girl wjo draws comics for her elementary school newsletter. Shes funny so every1 really likes her and her comics. at some point another comic appears, but its actually just four panels of background art. Its so beautifully drawn that the other students begin to fawn over it. Angry kver her loss of attention, the first girl goes to meet the girl making these new comics (The background girl doesnt go to school, she works at home). Thr end up becoming friends and the story shows how their friendship develops and changes, growing closer and growing further apart.

The manga is p short for. a manga but its actually just a Really Long oneshot. Its rlly good. not much else to say.

Why I think you would like it: Very similar to Blue Period. About art and how it reflects people. Also very strongly driven by the relationship between the two girls.

The Girl From The Other Side - ive been typing so much i really cant give a whole review on this. Similar to WHA. kinda. beautiful art. read it u will enjoy it

10. Describe their first date.

OHHH I think I've mentioned this in some other ask game too but hehehe they technically have two, though the first one is technically a "oh we're just friends who want to get to know each other better" hehehe <3 Putting the actual first date & other questions under the cut so it won't get too long :^)

Okay so, basically, they got to know each other through their friend group. Klara was one of the first members of the group & Toby joined later bc Leon met him on programming class and decided to invite him to one of the events. A week or two after Toby appears, Klara and he meet in the same cafe in the morning and decide to spend the whole day there just talking abt stuff and getting to know each other. It gets a bit too crowded in the cafe at some point so they go to Klara's apartment, to continue studying and talking and all. Toby ends up falling asleep on a sofa 👍 They both call it a study date or just seeing a friend or smth, but their feelings are definitely something else.

Now the actual first date? Funny thing, it's the same cafe. During evenings it also sells some kind of dinner food and non-alcoholic drinks, so they decide to go there in the evening hehe. They also spent most of the time talking, about different topics this time, just enjoying being near each other and being happy <3

They're both not into pda so they leave after some time and go for a walk, somehow get to the beach, sit down in the sand and just watch the stars together while holding hands. After a while they continue their walk & go to Klara's apartment and basically fall asleep on the couch almost right after getting there sjbsbfbfkfkf

Rain!!!! They enjoy it in different ways too! Sometimes they just sit cozily home and listen to the rain while watching serials or reading together, sometimes they go for a walk outside together, they both kinda like it when it rains hehe <3

49. Does either of them have a hard time being away from the other?

They both do!! They're so close to each other, maybe even too close, that they just kinda, well, don't want to be away for a long time and just find it hard to not have the other near them :')

I do think Toby has it harder sometimes bc being left alone w his thoughts after some things happen (especially his ex-job) is v bad for him and he just kinda can't just be alone abdjjffkg 😭 He has a really bad time at the beginning of in game canon ngl :(

I'll try to hit a couple different genres if you're lookin for inspiration ^_^ I always recommend behind the mask: the rise of leslie vernon any time someone sends me one of these asks because it's Good. It's more comedy than horror but it's very good. mockumentary about this dude who wants to be the next big slasher who invites a film crew to document his process. Really cool thing in the third act that I won't spoil but it's there 👍hits both found footage and slashers in terms of genre . I'd also recommend scream for slashers just because. Well. It's scream. It's good man

The Ritual is one of my favorites as well. Bunch of guys get lost hiking in the woods. Horrific shit ensues. Monster is concealed almost entirely throughout the movie and it makes it uniquely scary. i enjoy it. its supernatural folk horror

I'd recommend Re-animator + Bride of Re-animator (there is sexual assault in the first one that's pretty brutal though as a warning) because not only are they a bit unsettling with all the body horror and what not, it's also so over the top and insane that it loops back around to being funny again. It's sort of a dark comedy at times more than anything else, especially in bride. They also have really strong characters and the movies are mostly fueled by that over the pure spectacle that is happening which could be helpful. It's technically adapted from a Lovecraft story but hits frankenstein parody beats more so

There is of course always The Thing (80s one) if you haven't seen it already !!!! It's considered one of the best horror movies of all time for a reason and is probably my favorite generally speaking. It's got mystery it's got an alien monster it's got blood and gore. It's antarctic among us I guess if you want a point to relate it to (the thing was one of the main inspirations for that game)

Cabin in the woods (2011) isn't the Best Movie Of All Time by any means like some people say but it's unique and I refuse to explain why because it would spoil the whole thang, but trust me. Okay. Trust me. It's kind of horror Everything. If you want inspiration and a little bit of comedy it's definitely definitely in there

A lot of my personal joy is derived from when horror movies are just like not very good. Or easy to make fun of. So. Jeepers creepers, grave encounters, almost all of the paranormal activity series, any of the Trolls movies for SURE. the list goes on. I personally would recommend looking up "horror movie playlist" on YouTube, finding one that looks mildly interesting, checking it's IMDB page and sitting down to watch it with a friend. This is a time honored tradition of mine

Genya's Long Time Crush ((Adult) Genya Shinazugawa (Demon Slayer (aka Kimestu no Yaiba) x Any Gender Reader)

Genres: Funny Light Hearted Fluff and Some Angst (Warning ⚠️: Possible Spoiler Alert, Mentions of Killing, This Fanfic may contain parts that are dark, and Possible Trigger Warning)

Genya Shinazugawa, knew you looked familiar, he decided to ask you about yourself. He asked questions to see, if you experienced particular memories he had, he asked a lot of questions about you, then he asked, "Is your name, "(Any Gender Reader Name)?", so you replied, "Yes. My name is (Any Gender Reader Name)", then he would go on asking, if you remember him and his name, which you definitely told him yes to those questions. He's very happy to hear, because of the fact you and Genya both were childhood friends. He also had a crush on you, since after a few times you and Genya hung out together a few times during your childhood with him.

One day, both you and Genya decided to go on a picnic together, then after your private picnic with him started he asked about the note you left when he found out you moved away from where you lived and why you moved away from your childhood home, you then talked about having to move away from there to another place due to a demon attack. You then asked when he found the note and if he knew anything about it. Genya, then explained that he found the note after what happened to his family, the fact that his older brother Sanemi had to kill their mother (Sanemi's and Genya's mother) because of their mother became a demon and other reasons. Genya had regretted getting angry at Sanemi for killing their mother after Genya found out why Sanemi killed their mother. After Genya had to try to go to your place to live after that incident, that was when he found the note.

You were shocked about what Genya told you and felt bad for him, so you went to hug him. After you hugged Genya, he hugged you back, then said, "After I saw the note you had to move away, I never thought I was going to see you again. So, after what happened to my family, between my brother, Sanemi and I, and you moving away, at one point I felt I had no one to turn to, then I became so angry with the world, so I decided I had to think of the factors, then I knew what I wanted to do. Would I want to dwell in self pity or would I want to come up with something else to do about the situation I was in at the time. I came to the decision that I want to be part of the Demon Slayer Corps.". Then he mentioned, "I had to grow and mature from being part of the Demon Slayer Corps and believe or not, the Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima mentored and trained me to kill all the demons who are evil. Without him, I'm not sure where I would be, to be honest. Then when I saw you again, I had to makesure it's actually you and not some look a like before I do chat and hang out like, especially like old times.".

You then said, "I'm sorry I had to move away due to what happened years ago. I really wish I didn't have to move. I'm just happy we got to see eachother again, Genya. Honestly, after I had to move away, my life wasn't easy, however my family and I managed to survive. Everyone who flirted with me, I had to hint to them I wasn't interested in them.". Genya was surprised then asked, " Wait... So you're not interested in anyone by any chance?". anyways!! switching is so freaking funky, especially recently for us because it's been a lot of blurry and stressful switches.. probably due to midterms season? not too sure but also it's october so the mind is becoming full bonkers mode ya know

anyways, for us switches can either be super obvious or just go completely under the radar. there's no i between, and the easier the switch is, the less likely we are to like register that one happened.

well, specifically me because i have a tendency to stay around in co con a lot. when someone switches into co con with me it's usually pretty smooth, and fast, being brought about by very like random things. a song or an image or maybe how someone worded something! ya know

anyways, longer and more difficult switches which can get really rough. i think it's just, we have a really hard time with someone going from not in or near front just coming in full swing. that and also just needing to get someone out and they don't want to be.

but longer switches usually cause us to get really tired and dizzy (and usually an assortment of varying kinds of dissociative) and there's a weird like mental sensation almost like being dragged under into a swamp or being buried in pillows? it's like brain fog turned up an extreme amount

but there's on occasional full switch without all of that, but those are few and far i between. usually these are like zoning out but like for 10 minutes. like a shut down and reboot bust someone else hit the power on button ig.

actually tbh we see a lot of your system things in a very like computer sorta since?? we have a memory/trauma holder who like will create like "firewalls" to block information and sometimes even like shut down a chess to leave/get into front. it's kinda funny now that i'm thinking about it, the whole computer theming

anyways it's also important to note that we have an awful time of realizing who's in front until there's something very distinctly that alter that gets thought/done. that could be due to the heavy mental ick for a past bit, but it also might be a general thing. in fairness we haven't been tracking too long so it's hard to say.

     it’s an unfortunate reality that idols–or really, anyone in the public eye–of opposite genders are not encouraged to interact out in the open, if not downright prohibited, lest rumors start spreading that “something” is going on. not to mention, it’s even hard for people who are genuinely just friends to interact without someone assuming they could be more, which is why haru has always made an effort to meet up with or talk to his friends who also happen to be girls in private, or somewhere he knows he won’t be caught - like backstage at a shared event or something where it was inevitable that they’d be near each other.

     that’s why when he decides to send nayoung a gift for her birthday coming up, his thought is no different. he still makes sure to wrap her gift (a white and purple cat plushie and another purple cat plushie because he was indecisive as hell between the two and wasn’t sure which she’d prefer more, okay!) nicely–albeit in giftwrap he found that makes the box look like a block of cheese but he thought she’d find it funny–before placing it in a regular packing box along with a birthday card so that at least this way, it’ll look unassuming to the outside eye.

     he even went through the effort of getting the nova dorm address from his manager after promising he wasn’t asking so he could visit himself; he was just going to send a package. it took a bit of convincing but he managed to get it somehow so he wasn’t going to waste this chance, even if truthfully, a part of him deep down was so nervous.

     it’s not that he doesn’t buy gifts for others, whether it be for their birthday or a holiday or even to treat someone because he’s apparently in a position where he can do that now, but something about doing this for nayoung felt different; more nerve-wracking, even. but since he’s already bought everything and it was all prepared, he had no reason to not send the package - so after hyping himself up a lot, he quickly sends it off without giving himself a second thought or chance to take it back.

whoever sends her a package that looks like a cheese block really has nayoung questioning what this is, but it’s…. it’s effective in getting her attention. hopefully it didn’t have cheese inside!? and since it is already the eve of her birthday, she has some time for herself as she digs into the package and unwraps it slowly, to unwrap it into… another box! “what could this be?”

there’s a card sitting right there, and while the temptation is there to dig into the box first, she really should read the letter first. and hopefully it’s a note that actually has writing it because… genuinely, nayoung doesn’t like it when a letter simply says, “dear ___, from ____”, something that bugged her mom that also passed down to nayoung herself. pleasantly surprised, the letter is not empty, and her mouth is pursed as she slowly reads it. 

oh drat, she should’ve opened the package first because it did mention what he got, but it’s okay, it was vague at best. plushies, huh! hopefully they weren’t something she didn’t like, but haru knew her well anyway so they likely would be alright… it’d be rude to ask for a return receipt but if she really didn’t like it, nayoung wouldn’t hesitate to tell him to exchange it so…. hopefully it wouldn’t get to that point.

setting the note aside, nayoung’s glad she’s opening this quietly on her own because she probably looks so silly right now, so excited like a little child but hey, it was only her birthday once a year, right?! and it makes a difference when it’s coming from someone that’s close to her. after opening the lid to the box, she buries her hands to her face, gasping at first then laughing, because one of them looked rather… odd, but cute ( impressionable. yes yes. ) and the other was very typically cute, both in shades of purple. she loves them. she’s going to stick them on her pillows. they even fit her decor. squishing them in her palm and against her face, she snaps a quick picture with the two and sends it off to haru.
