I don't remember where this "Oil Heavy Flow Dry Edges" Photoshop brush came from (maybe it's stock in cs6?) but I used it exclusively throughout this portrait. The only part I didn't like about the brush was it's canvas texture wasn't seamless and would create obvious horizontal banding that I had to touch up a bit. I digitally painted this over a traditional sketch I made on strathmore bristol board.

Not quite done but in typical Ben fashion I have to share it immediately. LOL!

Milyon Dolarlık Proje İptal Oldu!

2012 yılında Indiegogo sitesi üzerinde hayatına başlayan, gör��nümünden adını alan, yusufçuk şeklindeki drone projesi şu anda iptal edilmiş durumda. Robot Dragonfly, ilk çıkışını yaptığı an 110 bin dolarlık bir hedef koyulmuş, bu birkaç haftada geçilerek 1 milyon dolar barajı aşılmıştı. Firma aynı bir kuş gibi uçabilen ve böcek gibi havada kalabilen robotu 99 dolardan bağışçılarına vaat etmişti.

Dün yapılan açıklamada firma, derin finansal sorunlar içinde olduğunu söyledi. Ancak bu problemleri kendilerine değil, Indiegogo ve Paypal sitelerinin paraları vermemesine bağlıyorlar. Yaklaşık üç sene önce başlayan proje, görünüşe göre daha prototip olarak tamamlanamamış. Yapılan açıklamalardan sonra bağışçılar, yorumlarda haklı olarak sert dille saldırılara başlamış. Firma henüz projeden vazgeçmediğini söylese de, daha fazla paraya ihtiyaçları olduğunu da eklemiş.

Son dönemde Indiegogo üzerinde başarıya ulaşamayan proje sayısı bir miktar arttı. Kickstarter’da da bu tip olayların olabildiğini düşünürsek, bağış yapacağımız ürünü iyi seçmemiz gerekiyor. Daha önceleri de Kickstarter üzerinde 1.5 milyon dolar bağış rakamlarını geçen 3D yazıcı projesi, hayata geçemeden firmanın parası bitmiş ve iptal olmuştu.
