I'd argue it would make it worse. It's better that everything is this shit product because, had they given us this, it would lead to a raised expectation. Like "oh they got the visuals! The rest of this is questionable but lets go check it out anyway!" It would be like half of the build being made out of oak and cobble, but the second half being dirt. Why show us a cool concept if its not going to be followed through? Changing the artstyle may fix a lot of the issues but everything else still sucks and I rather it all suck than some of it

The Minecraft Movie makes me genuinely straight up angry literally like 70% of problems would be solved if it was just animated like the update trailers. There wouldn’t be the uncanny valley mobs, the whitewashed Steve with the incorrect hair and beard styles and colors, the horrible green screening, the main characters wouldn’t look weird and out of place, obviously it won’t fix the bad writing, unfunny jokes, boring plot, insulting existence, and the absolute character assassination that is casting Jack Black as Steve, or even the choice to give Steve a voice at all but it would undoubtedly solve a lot of the issues

i can suspend my disbelief for a Lot of story elements like dont get me wrong. Theres a lot i can overlook for the sake of enjoyment. But the way ppl use head injuries so lightly in some media drives me up the FUCKING WALL
