Hen stares at him, "That's not how it works. It's a celebrity list, Buck."

"What list?" Eddie steals a few fries from Buck's plate as he rounds the table before sitting beside him.

"Buck's hall pass list."

Eddie slowly breaks into a smile, "I'm not a celebrity."

"And you're already sleeping together." Chim adds.

"Who else is on the list?"

Buck blushes, and before he can answer, Hen snatches the paper from under his hand.

Hen shows Chim, "You're terrible at this, Buckley. "

Eddie makes a give it here motion, and when he looks at it, his face goes soft. Eddie's name is listed in all five slots.

Buck sits back in the chair, arms crossed over his chest, "I don't want to sleep with anyone else." Buck grumbles.

Eddie folds the piece of paper carefully and tucks it into his wallet. He slides his hand around the back of Buck's head to force his eyes up, "Hey, me either. If I made a list, it would be all you."

Hen and Chim push back from the table, "Time to go they're about to get gross."

Buck ignores them, eyes trained on his boyfriend, "Really? No one else?"

"How could I ever want anyone else when I have you."

Buck feels his face heat again. Eddie kisses his temple and squeezes the back of neck. He has the best boyfriend ever.

its funny u ask bc i actually wrote an extremely in depth and probably over dramatic and embarrassing 700 word rant about it last night (that i will shorten and paraphrase for The People lol)

• Not a fan of it obv. it IS comedic because of how utterly ridiculous it is but like.. im tired. so i blocked the person lol, like idc if its satire or not i dont wanna see it

• not to be the “friend thats too woke” but people reposting and drawing it so much weirds me out because its like…ur reposting and drawing art of the incest prostitution harem!?!? which is weird?!?! like EVEN as a joke???

• this kind of tlh content is so… common in the fandom, that if the video DIDNT GO VIRAL on tiktok, tlh fans wouldve just been like “sighh… average tuesday” and moved on…. the NORMAL tlh fans (all 5 of us) already usually have to deal with the weird content the gross tlh fans make (and non fans making fun of the fandom as a whole), but now we have to avoid weird content from gross fans AND NON FANS! (we are working overtime…)

• those are just the logistics of me not liking it. i also hate it because well. its an EGREGIOUS and frankly DISGUSTING mischaracterization of one of my favorite characters ever (lincoln) and just torture porn of characters i love and genuinely enjoy (all of the sisters (and the ooc clyde will make me evil too)) so yeahhh…. (which, feel free to call me over sensitive for this because idrc, but who wouldnt dislike a wildly spread meme of a nasty ooc depiction of their favorite character…)

I asked my friend for anime recs & they did not disappoint. I can't be certain that Golden Kamuy inspired jujutsu kaisen, but there are a lot of weird similarities (probably missed some bc I didn't start to write them down until halfway through the anime - I haven't read the manga).

it gave me some thoughts on kenjaku especially

-pretty much every Ainu character has the same clothes Sukuna wore in their innate domain (we never see that outfit irl). I wanted to say that outfit felt Ainu, but hadn't found a photo like it irl until today.

As far as who has TVs, I think all the division offices have one, because they were part of a military tech rollout. They have yet to really catch on individually, though. In the commercial district, there’s a TV store with a whole wall of them out front, and people tend to simple congregate in the streets to watch whatever’s on, as though it were a live playhouse. The difference is that it’s 24-hour programming, and when it’s not airing Central 46 C-SPAN it’s fueled by camera-happy insomniacs.

I used to live in a city that had a local access channel that a friend of mine swore by, which was a single-camera one-man puppet show performing the entire story of the Bible. Soul Society definitely has one of those, except it performs the full history of Soul Society. It’s actually incredibly well-researched and is the love labor of Some Guy who was granted access to and spent a lifetime absorbing the Kuchiki records. Byakuya has signed off on the show, but owing to its low production value, he did not consent to use of the Kuchiki name anywhere but in the credits roll.

There’s also a shopping channel that is essentially a slideshow of the existing SC catalogue, intercut with footage of straight-faced SC staffers describing the items. This show is incredibly popular, because it reaps the benefits of dual audiences: 1) People who want to buy stuff from the shopping channel, and 2) people who watch it because they think it’s a hilarious, dry-witted mockumentary-style social satire. (It is not.)

Similarly, there’s a fairly ambitious show that compiles "Lights and Sirens" style reporting from the top 13 most popular border checkpoints in Rukongai, filmed by bored shinigami sitting in firetowers. This show typically has the affect of John Trudell as Randy Peone in Smoke Signals’ KREZ Radio. (This would be my favorite show, she said, surprising no one.)

Yumichika, Renji, Ikkaku, and Hisagi DEFINITELY made a no-budget drama that was going for a found footage aesthetic but in actuality has the aesthetic of "Hisagi with a camcorder." Even though it’s supposed to be a hard-hitting crime thriller set in the universe of Detective Byakuya (but not centered on Byakuya), there are often entire sequences of, like, Yumichika doing tai chi on a dramatic outcropping in silhouette, sunset behind him, and the other three offering hushed commentary like nature documentarians.
