3D Print Artists
Week 4
These Artists Continue to Redefine 3D Printed Art | Ideelart
I had a quick look at some 3D artists and saw these prints that sort of go with my project because of the body sculpture, except bones. The artist Monika Horcicova is from the Czech Republic and shows the fragility and beauty of bones in her work.

Her work was a 3D model of a Greek amphora, that she animated. She wanted to make history more interesting and accessible. The vase shows a story of love and is inspired by the myth of Eros.
I think this is something that I could do for my images, I could add colour, myths etc. to the statues to make them more interesting and to tell a story.
Mood Board
I made a quick moodboard with both artist’s work and a couple of statues I took pictures of in The Met museum. My main goal with this was to see how all three ideas could work together. I quite liked the colours, they were neat teal with a pop of colour. I wanted it to look like the pieces of the vase were falling all over the statues and skeletons, like they were becoming part of the story.

1: PROJECT TITLE
Line, Space and Structure in the city
2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In my final project, I want to focus on how to express space and structure in photography. As an outstanding designer and photographer of the last century, Moholy Nagy's works have not only influenced me in style but also taught me how to use structure, space, and lines to think and create pictures.
Before I came into contact with Moholy Nagy, my understanding of photography was limited to how to use light and objects to compose a work. Especially as a photographer who prefers architectural photography and landscape photography, sometimes my creation encounters many difficult problems and confusion.
Moholy Nagy said: "The illiterate of the future will be the person ignorant of the use of the camera as well as the pen." From Moholy Nagy's works, it is not difficult to find that most of his works are based on simple geometric figures Even made of lines. This is also what inspired me: photography and painting are very similar. In painting, lines, and haze are often used to construct the sense of the depth of space, while in photography, we can also use the lines of buildings, the level of the horizon, and the haze produced by light to construct the sense of depth. The only difference is that painting is to use a brush to add complex elements on white paper to construct the overall structure and space, while photography is to compose the structure and space we want by selecting the elements we need in the complex line of sight.
Although I'm still exploring Moholy Nagy's work, the relationship between lines and geometric shapes he creates in his works are fascinating.
3. OUTCOMES
- About 3-4 pictures with spatial depth made of lines (architecture, street view)
- About 2-3 pictures with a sense of spatial depth made of light (natural scenery)
- About 2-3 photos of the geometry structure
4. METHODS AND MATERIALS
- Camera (Niko Z30)
- Edit pictures via CameraRaw and Photoshop (filters, exposure, etc..)

What an amazing artist is @sebastiaanknot Read the caption below Can we even imagine a world without color? We perceive objects as having color because they absorb and reflect wavelenghts of light. My work is all about that. I build compositions out of simple white and grey things, light them with different color strobes and capture this with a camera. The result is an photographic image of colliding colors. How you experience the image is totally up to you. Quote
The textured appearance of her paintings emanates from the intervention of common household products such as paper towels during the painting process. Marcy Rosenblat describes herself as having an affinity for process art, a method of art making in which predetermined systems and techniques largely determine the outcome of the work. Rosenblat is inspired by the idea of revelation and obfuscation. Each layer of paint is like a veil, through which viewers can see the inner workings of her craft.
