I was just reading the lyrics of the song Die With a Smile by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars and I think it's kinda fitting to John and Caro's teens years? I'm not sure if they listen this type of music (tho I feel like John could respect Lady Gaga as an artist), but the lyrics seemed so fitting for them!

I felt like they could be their thoughts about each other late at night, after a rough and very emotional day maybe? Kinda like in the post where Caro asks Jonny if he would run away with them?

I just finished listening and you are so right. I may have shed a tear or two, absolutely the right vibe for their angsty nights. (Also, would be teenage Caro’s type of music for sure and teenage John would be into it cuz Caro likes it AND because he definitely respects Gaga as an artist! He knows a bop when he hears one regardless of genre. And for others out there, I love song recommendations so much and my art is very integrated in music. like idc i think charlie as a serial killer would be Way more interesting... just think abt Charlie Catches a Leprechaun! he's a natural! and it's so hypnotizing watching the man work that u kinda GO ALONG WITH IT until the rest of the gang snaps us out of it,

also i do think Charlie Day is very smart writing-wise and he'd totally think up a character like this that is a subversion of that "harmless manchild" trope and turn it on its head by giving it a pretty grim ending... like . he's 100% smart enough and talented to pull smth like that off LOL

and i dont want ppl to take this as me trying to trash Charlie, cuz as I just said-- that is an extremely difficult kind of character to pull off!!!! Talk about a slow burn.... Made several variants, so one has white outline, other has red and last one just kinda changes black into dark gray. I have saved one with lighter gray but it kinda disappears on dark mode here, so I didn't include it. -💜

The mkp5 brain getting fueled sooo much and also like, it's just so insane how on p5's side, the Phantom Thieves has such a big support system with how that's a core part of the whole story, gaining allies that'd help with the whole thing. And yet on Magic Kaito's side, Kaito barely Has anyone that can help him, he's always The One Helping, the only reliable help he can get is from Jii-san, whenever Conan's plans intersect with Kaito's, Conan could get Kaito to help along with the plan, and the few times Kaito needed an extra hand for help, it'd only just be Conan. My guy Needs more people, istg he needs more reliable help, my guy only has himself and an old man.

it’s like 4am rn and i’m so sleepy bht csnf fall asleep so maybe this won’t make a lot of sense but i’ve finally finished watching the pjo show and i think some of u need to grow the fuck up 😭😭 like i’m sorry but comparing and contrasting the shows to the books soo fucking closely is so crazy to me like i know some of yall are working 9-5 office jobs so there’s no way u should be this pressed about the symbolism in a kids show. it’s nostalgic obviously but at the same time it will never be that serious. i’m guilty of that too tho don’t get me wrong bc i had made such a long rant abt Book Gabe vs Show Gabe before i realized i truly do not give a fuck. like. me resonating more with Book Percy’s relationship with his Book Family has absolutely no fucking effect on Current Me watching the show. who cares. i know i can get lowkey insecure at times about having “childish” interests but i want to make it very clear that im not dunking on ppl who dislike the show. like, i think there were plenty of things to dislike. i just don’t think that they’re worth getting worked up over, especially if you’re an adult person with adult responsibilities, because isn’t enjoying the whimsy of this show more important than writing a whole deep dive of why you hate this show with a passion? which i know is hypocritical coming from me but if im complaining about a show you better believe its bc i love it and am obsessed with it, not because im hate-watching it and actively looking for things to get mad about. i really don’t get it like if the show really bothers you that much just turn it off. like girl..
