(i also don't think ANY of us were prepared for this massive of a shift in one month's time. during tour. with a re-recording coming soon. it's a lot to process.)

Usually when you needed help on a subject, you went to library for a study session with Lily, Remus, and sometimes accompanied with Peter.

Today just so happened to be a day where Lily went on a date with Mary so Peter accompanied you. Sitting in the far corner of the library, studying for Potions and it’s upcoming O.W.L. you and Peter listened to Remus explain the process of making Liquid Luck.

“But the book says twelve! Why wouldn’t I listen to the author?!” Peter lowly shouted, gripping his hair in frustration.

“He literally wrote the book! Why would it be wrong, Remus?” You asked, laying your head in hands.

Remus sighed and rubbed his temples, feeling an oncoming headache from how many times you both had complained.

“It’s a typo, I asked professor slughorn and he said it was thirteen.” He patiently explained.

Peter slapped down his quill and shot back into his chair, “okay! So why didn’t he tell us that then, hmm?”

“I swear to all things holy they just want us to fail,” you said shaking your head.

Remus ran his hands in his hair and let them rest on his neck. “They don’t want you to fail, it was just a typo and I’m sure Slughorn will mention it.”

Peter squinted his eyes at Remus. “Why do I not believe yo—”

He was cut off by a pair of hands shaking his shoulders, “who would ever not believe our beloved Moony?”

A kiss on your cheek made you look away from Sirius and Peter to James’ face inches from yours. “How are you my lovely darling?”

Sirius made an offended sound and practically slammed his hands on the table earning a shush from Peter. “What do you mean!? Am I not good company? I thought you loved me James?”

Remus shook his head annoyed, “both of you, quit it. Now.” He said like a stern parent.

James and Sirius were progressively getting louder, now shoving each other. James hit one of the bookshelves, and for a moment you all thought it was going to fall but luckily it didn’t.

But that only got the boys more riled up.

“Ow! Don’t pull the hair, you wanker!” Sirius shouted jumping on James’s back and said boy spun around really fast with a shout.

“James! Stop it!” You tried intervening but you only ignored.

Peter jumped in his place slightly. “Shut up! Stop it! Shh! Shh!!” He glanced towards Remus, so he could say something.

Remus was now stood up with his brows raised and an arm stretched out, stressed as they almost dropped a bookshelf. “James, Sirius, quit it now and shut up!”

The taller boy shoved Sirius away with a loud belly laugh, making the boy hit a different bookshelf making it creak as it moved.

All of you froze as it leaned back slowly and then suddenly two loud bangs to resonated throughout the library and dust flew everywhere from two fallen bookshelves.

It was dead silent. James was panting heavily with a dying smile on his face, Sirius was on the ground in front of the fallen bookshelves with his hair covering half his face, Peter was frozen with his arms outstretched, Remus was bent slightly from the bangs that scared him, and you were still in your seat, mouth agape.

It seemed as if time stopped and the only thing to break the spell was a loud yell.

“WHAT IN MERLINS NAME WAS THAT?!”

At the sound of Madam Prince yelling, you all took your leave.

You, James, Sirius, and Peter changed into your animagus forms and took off.

“Wait! No fair! No fair! I can’t turn into one!” Remus scrambled to grab his tote bag and books before running after you all.

A stag, a black dog, a wildcat, a rat, and a tall lanky boy with scars ran through the castle halls in between students that were screaming, laughing, and gasping at the sight of you all causing complete and utter chaos.

“s’ cuse me! Sorry! Move out the way!” Remus yelled struggling to hold all his stuff as he ran.

The next hall over, Professor Mcgonagall furrowed her brows from the loud noises coming from the other hall.

She approached the corner when suddenly a stag appeared in front of her with a rat moving wildly on its antlers. The stag moved side to side before running away with a loud huff.

Next a black dog ran towards her loudly barking, causing her to move to the wall gazing at the three animals.

Then a wildcat ran and jumped on the wall she was against and leaped over her causing the professor to yelp and hold a hand to her chest.

Lastly a tall, sweaty boy, ran the corner panting, with his robes falling off his shoulders, and books nearly falling from his grip.

Professor Mcgonagall stuttered and held a hand in the air towards the boy. “Mr. Lupin? Mr. Lupin!”

Remus barely glanced back, “I’m sorry professor!” He rounded the corner with a loud ‘wait for me! It’s not fair!’ before Madam Prince rounded the corner too panting.

“I-I don’t—” the librarian cut herself off and gazed out the window along with the rest of the students where the unlikely group of animals ran past.

You guessed that Hogwarts had never seen such a group of animals with a panicky boy chasing after said animals very often.

Omega sits with her back against the curved wall off the house. The night is mild for Pabu in late summer, and a soft breeze brushes by, sifting through Omega’s hair and making the tear tracks left on her cheeks feel cool. “I don’t know, Wrecker. I feel like I should…like I need to…but…” she cuts herself off, wiping the sleeve of her jacket roughly across her face.

“But what?” Wrecker prompts, moving to sit next to her. He moves slowly, on worn joints and aching muscles. Age has claimed his youth so much sooner than it should have.

Omega waits until he is settled before she leans against him and his endless warmth. “What if I leave,” she whispers, “and something happens. Here.”

Wrecker chuckles. A rumbling thing that rattles her. “Nothing’s gonna happen here, kid. It’ll be the same old thing it’s been since we settled here. You’ll come visit, and it’ll be the same as it was, like ya never left.”

Omega smiles. Her brothers have found so much comfort in their routines. Their familiar, comforting routines. Maybe she’ll miss that more than she first thought. Knowing where her brothers are any time of the day simply based on where the sun is positioned in the sky.

But that isn’t what she meant. “What if something happens…to one of you?”

Wrecker is quiet for several long moments. “We’ll look after each other, Megs, you don’t gotta worry about us. Fear shouldn’t be what makes you stay.”

so I thought it'd be fun to do a follow up post to the casey/jorge/valentino one where I just dumped a bunch of photos with a wee bit of context... for the culture, y'know. and I'm doing this with just casey/valentino, mostly for 2007-09 but with one 2005 photo chucked in as. build-up. for flavour

we know from the #archives that the two of them did have like. a reasonably warm dynamic pre-casey's motogp debut. they'd talked... also at least one race where casey shows up to valentino's podium and chats to vale's crew chief and fellow aussie jb... I think about it often. what did it all mean

casey's first win!!! qatar 2007, very first race with ducati. he'd gotten very close to a win before - in his third ever premier class race at turkey, lost at the final chicane. casey's goals going into that first season with ducat had just been winning a few races... he notes that valentino congratulates him warmly, but reckons it's just because valentino didn't take him seriously as a threat, which. I don't think that quite stacks up with supplementary evidence from the time, but we'll allow it

one of my fave photos for a reason, idc it's sweet. I was trying to figure out when this photo was from through like, normal means of reverse image search, but then instead I had a horrifying moment of 'oh yeah I'm pretty sure I remember that specific presser backdrop is at mugello that year' and. I was right. which. god. anyway yeah mugello 2007 pre-event presser. by this point casey was 21 points clear in the championship standings

more mugello 2007!!! look at casey constantly sipping from his lil cup. this will have been after qualifying, where casey snagged pole. I'd forgotten valentino actually makes front row in qualifying because he makes a typically horrendous start. I'd also forgotten that this race is like. proper good. one of the best that year. slows down eventually but the first ten or so laps are some of the most exciting of the entire alien era

catalunya 2007, which unfortunately I also dated solely through the presser backdrop. idk I just like the vibes of this photo. anyway!! this race is ofc the one where casey won an all timer late race duel against valentino (+ dani). it is after this race that valentino said casey was, and I quote "riding like a god". a seminal moment

the championship is already extremely over by the time they get to estoril, but casey still needs to formally wrap it up: this is his first match point race. depicted here is valentino getting one of his few Ws that season. an account of this event: “valentino was playing table football in the yamaha hospitality and somebody spotted casey outside. so they invited him for a challenge. it was all good fun”

motegi 2007. valentino had managed to put off the inevitable the race before and temporarily stopped casey from sealing the title, taking his last win of the season (cool duel with dani in that one). but motegi... well honestly it's just a bit of a flop all round, nobody's bike is working the way they want it to, casey seals the title with his worst result all season of a sixth place (the horror) and in his autobiography he was kinda like 'well I was very happy but also. meh race' (I paraphrase). but really, who cares, he had his title

bit of a time skip!! after both of them have put their sketch early 2008's behind them, the pair of them had a proper fun fight at catalunya for p2. a continuation of the battle the year before with valentino once again coming from lower down the field, this time he gets the better of casey. still, things are finally looking up at ducati... and the post-catalunya test might be enough to put casey right back in title contention. the above photo is from donington, where casey confirms the progress ducati made by winning his first race of the season after the opener in qatar

still donington, both of them watching each other etc etc. valentino is in a much better place than the year before, given both casey's rough start to the season and how they're both now on the same tyres. but it's not a good sign if casey's hitting his stride... at assen, valentino makes his one mistake of the year and crashes on the first lap, remounting to finish eleventh (he still beats casey's teammate melandri). this puts dani in the championship lead - and with casey's second win in a row, he is now very much closing in

look at them chatting here!! cute imo. this is casey's third win in a row, at the rainy sachsenring. dani crashes out from a few miles in the lead - while casey had stayed sensible and brings it home for a pretty straightforward victory. valentino needed to fight his way through from further down the field and in the end he loses too much time to put any serious pressure on casey, but it's still damage limitation and he retakes the championship lead from dani (who will miss the next race due to an injury sustained in the crash). and yet, momentum really is firmly on casey's side now... and the rest of the calendar does looks like pretty casey-friendly territory. next up, they're headed to a race track where casey had won very comfortably the year before. would he seal his fourth consecutive win at laguna?

now with my sincere apologies to casey stoner, every photo that came out of laguna 2008 is objectively pretty funny. I have limited myself to a mere two podium photos, but lbr there's a full collection. casey had already rejected valentino's handshake in parc fermé - which some might have taken as a social cue to give him some space. whereas valentino, local dickhead, just will not stop yapping at casey on the podium. this is quite possibly as genuinely delighted as he gets after a race, and it's simply a beautiful contrast with casey who is not quite rude enough to actually tell valentino to shut the fuck up - but may be fantasising about pushing valentino off the podium. this, to me. is art

gather around body language experts, we need to have a conversation. this is at the pre-event presser of the race immediately after laguna, aka brno. by this point, casey's less than flattering remarks about valentino's riding at laguna had already been distributed near and far... everyone's been talking about them, people have Opinions. the captions for these photos are all something along the lines of 'stoner extends olive branch to rossi to apologise for his post-race comments after losing laguna'. now, I don't know if he literally is apologising in these actual photos - though of course he did publicly walk back his comments, saying all riders can react badly to losses and that he'd overreacted when he'd said he'd lost respect for valentino. he has since walked back his walking back, doubling down on his criticisms of valentino's comportment at laguna

still, for all the talk that the feud properly started after laguna, it's kind of fun to have the presser immediately after it showing... well, it does look like casey is actively engaging valentino in conversation, right? whether he's apologising or not - this isn't just valentino yapping at him, if anything it's the reverse. laguna had been right before the summer break, so casey had been given a month to cool off... and also be viciously criticised by the press. brutal, isn't it? it's not just the loss that sucks, it's also being excoriated by the press and fans for having the audacity to get mad over it. is all of this just him being forced into pretending to play nice to get the press to leave him alone? were there any genuine regrets over his laguna comments? what ARE the vibes between them like at this time? what story do these photos tell us

casey went on to crash out of this race from the lead, the first time he had done so in the premier class and his first dnf with ducati after their one and a half seasons together. when he crashed, he'd had a fairly comfortable lead over valentino - though valentino was steadily closing in, and the commentators were already rubbing their hands in anticipation of another laguna

the next race is at misano - and casey is struggling with an old hand injury, see the bandages in the photo. the previous year had been the first time valentino had gotten the chance to race at this circuit, so close to his home... but he'd suffered a mechanical dnf, not his first or last in a frustrating season. this year, everything is different - and casey once again crashes out of the lead as valentino takes victory in front of his worshipful home fans

another trip to america, this time for indy: their first time racing at the track. after the double whammy of brno and misano, casey's title charge is essentially over... but you never know, right? indy kinda gives off the vibe of being a good casey track

in the end, the race is extremely wet and very, very windy and is eventually red-flagged. because of how many laps they still have to go, it is initially unclear whether they would restart... at which point first valentino (who was leading), then casey (in fourth) go to dorna ceo ezpeleta to tell him they have less than zero interest in going out in that weather again. a beautiful moment of solidarity - long live the power of unionising, capable of overcoming even the bitterest of feuds. blast the internationale over the footage, I've seen enough. the race is called off and valentino wins his fourth consecutive race

by the time they get to phillip island, valentino has already won the title, courtesy of his fifth consecutive win at motegi - the same circuit casey had won the title at the year before and the home race of valentino's old enemies at honda. a couple of nice photos of jorge congratulating his teammate and casey spraying vale with champagne here. casey, known phillip island goat, would of course finally end valentino's win streak at that circuit, which is where the photos are from. idk they're fun to me, like this is still not that long after laguna. I'm aware being able to chat normally with your coworkers and share a smile with them isn't normally that high a bar, but canonically valentino has been known to completely blank some of his rivals. it's not like casey is particularly cold towards valentino either, eh

case in point. this is from sepang 2008. #TheEstablishment does not want you to know casey and valentino canonically still regularly yapped in pressers post laguna. they won't silence me. sepang was valentino's last win of this season, after a good scrap with dani - and the season is rounded off with a casey victory at valencia

jerez 2009, where valentino gets past casey with a block pass at the final corner on his way to victory. unlike in 2005, he actually manages to not barrel into his rival. this is just a fantastic photo... I don't even have much to say about it. a+ vibes

a lot of the photos from this season were already included in the jorge/valentino/casey post, which reflects how casey wasn't consistently a factor in the same way the other two were. this one's from assen, the race right after catalunya when all three of them were tied on 106 points. very good side eye here, excellent job casey. unfortunately, casey is now in mystery illness territory - and he can't really compete with the two frontrunners in this stretch of the season

this is the first race after casey's return to competition - valentino goes up to casey after qualifying at estoril to congratulate him for his front row grid position. casey would win an early race scrap with valentino in the race itself, eventually finishing second behind jorge and swiftly silencing all the people who had declared him mentally weak and done for in his absence. a race that brought back suspense to that year's championship

phillip island 2009, another important moment in the canon where I've limited myself to just the one photo. casey wins just his second race back - and he also hugs vale pretty warmly in parc fermé. jorge was kind enough to crash in the opening lap, meaning valentino can very much be pleased with a second place here

and at sepang, valentino seals the title, while casey wins another race. casey ended up crashing in the warm-up lap of valencia, apparently due to an issue with the tyre warming? just kinda... the general vibe of his 2009, really. valentino closes off the season with another podium at his least favourite track, while dani takes the win

anyway after that they spent three years getting into increasingly. dumb arguments. like. so dumb. by the end of 2012 you feel you're killing your brain cells by even engaging with this stuff. it's beyond undignified. there's zero competitive justification, but they just couldn't shut up about each other. that being said, they're still capable of doing a small talk with each other even during the dark years, so that's something. maybe one day they'll finally be able to get that dinner and talk about all the good times

(this is more of a general observation than the critic of a specific fanbase/driver/whatever)

seeing a lot of people's reactions about a specific big sponsor following sainz to a different team is so weird(?) very celebratory and talking about the brand like they are a supportive family member or person. it's so weird how disensitised people have become to doing free advertising? like in general on the day to day but also very much so in the microcosm of Formula 1.

(another example is that rum or whisky or I don't even know that Lewis has now. the way so many fans immediately go into marketing mode and they are not even getting payed for it!! it's another thing to do word-of-mouth spreading about a thing you tried and another to just love a corpo simply cause someone famous is associated with it)

I know some people are super into the marketing / contractual aspect of the sport, I personally really don't care and I have like you a bit of an aversion to all the advertisment that I'm being constantly subjected to through this sport. That being said I have bought a couple of Lewis's clothes so I'm not gonna pretend I'm above it either lol. Whether people like it and how they wanna spend their money is none of my business.

I think the celebratory aspect is a bit of a power play type thing? It's like. "My guy has all this money/influence in his corner, what do you have?" On a personal level idc about it but contractually it makes a world of a difference. It's an indicator of the driver's weight in the negotiations, because however much we would like it to be about the performance, a huge chunk if not the majority of it is down to money.

I mean look at what happened with Perez. Everybody and their moms thought he was out midseason and then he showed up at the negotation table with additional sponsoring and here we are.

Description: It's the eve of the first day of Summer. Mol, Arabella, and Faeryl are celebrating in Halsin's new found grove (Thaniel's realm). Mol swipes a bottle of wine jusr for the three of them and Faeryl confesses her feelings for Dammon. ;)

Faeryl crossed her arms and hugged herself. She looked out into the commotion in front of her. Young children were braiding each other's hair and placing flowers in each stitch, some of the teenagers were sharing their first kisses under the night sky by the bonfire, and the smell of alcohol and roasted barbeque filled the air. Tonight marked the eve of the first day of summer. The festivities would go on for two more days. It was two days too many for Faeryl. While the atmosphere seemed fun and exciting for most, it reminded her of the grand parties held for drow nobles in the underdark. Her mother, would force her to wear the most revealing dresses and serve their guests wine, while Malice and Alistair enjoyed the festivities without a care. Her heart sank as she remembered the nobles that she got drunk on purpose. All lips she had to kiss only to steal away their secrets while they were most vulnerable, the indecent acts that she had to preform, only to bring that information to her mother. With her help, her mother fell many of the smaller noble houses. Faeryl wasn't particularly proud of this part of her past, but what choice did she have? She closed her eyes and listened to the laughter and music. Suddenly she felt something jump on her back.

“Hey Fay! Check out what I just nabbed from that fancy fellow over there!” Mol dangled a silver pocket watch in front of Faeryl's face as she struggled to keep her balance. Faeryl instinctively grabbed her legs and started piggy backing her. They were both giggling as Arabella came up to them, crossing her arms.

“Mol, please don't get us kicked out of the festivities here. We never get to let loose like this in Baulder's Gate.”

“Oh shut up Arabella. You and I both know that you want to stay here so you can drink with Rolan,” Mol teased.

Faeryl gasped in surprise. Her and Mol exchanged smirks and started giggling.

“Bella, baby, my love" Faeryl was laughing as she teasingly went down the list of pet names her and Mol called Arabella, “Rolan? Surely you can do better. He's so -"

“Cranky" Mol interrupted. She had hopped off of Faeryl's back and was now working on opening a bottle of wine. The top came off with a pop and nearly hit Arabella in the head. Luckily, Arabella saw it coming and had moved her head to the left right as she heard the pop.

“Mol! Where did you get that? You're going to get us in trouble!” Arabella exclaimed.

“Swiped it from the table. Also, don't change the subject, Bella. We gotta talk about you an' Rolan" Mol took a long swig from the bottle and passed it to Faeryl. She wasn't a novice when it came to alcohol, but she had never had this kind before. She sniffed the bottle. It smelled like strawberries and judging from the bottle it looked like it was home made by the people of this grove. She shrugged and took a long swig from it as well.

“I mean. Don't get me wrong, he's a couple years my senior but I'm not a kid anymore! I am an adult, a young adult, but an adult never the less. Besides, if I recall you used to have a small crush on Dammon. His stuff used to go missing and we all knew it was you.” Arabella took the bottle from Faeryl and started taking sips from it.

“Hey now! I was a girl! And besides he had some good stuff sitting around at his forge" Mol crossed her arms and pursed her lips. Faeryl laughed. Although she wasn't a huge fan of parties, Mol and Arabella made her feel like she was at home. These two teifling girls were her best friends. Being with them almost made her forget about her past and why she was at this grove in the first place. This was all she wanted in life. To be herself without judgement and to enjoy life with the ones she loved.

“Well. It seems that our little drow princess has taken a liking to him. I wonder if she'll even visit him tonight?” Arabella winked at Faeryl.

“That is, if Halsin doesn't tear him apart. He doesn't seem the type to but Arabella and I did over hear him talking to the other druids about you disappearing in between lessons.” Mol was checking her nails and swished her tail. This was something she did whenever she was telling them some juicy information. “Let's just say that daddy dearest is a little upset about you've been putting your druidic studies on the back burner.”

Faeryl was a little surprised. Halsin was always teaching others about the ways of nature. He believed that their hearts should roam free; that nature intended for you to enjoy your desires. Why would he care so much about hers? She had never told him about her daily visits with Dammon. Did he even know? They had just recently found out that they were father and daughter – surely he would not be this invested in her personal life already? Maybe that wasn't it. This grove had multiple archdruids in charge, this was so that the responsibility didn't fall on one person but a council , that worked together. Faeryl was sure that the council had spoken to him about the danger that she was to the grove. Halsin had stood up for her, stating that she was his responsibility and she will learn to control her powers in order to stay here. Was he worried that she would never gain control of the beast?

“Oi!” Faeryl's thoughts were broken up by the acorn that Mol threw at her head, “Did ya hear me? Are ya going to see your smithy boy or nah?”

Faeryl didn't have time to respond back before Arabella put a hand on her shoulder and began to pick some twigs out of her silver hair. “What Mol is trying to say is, let's just relax and have a couple of drinks. We'll help each other braid our hair and then, you'll go see Dammon, I'll go see Rolan, and Mol is going to pay a visit to that pretty little blonde elf girl that keeps eyeing her by the fire.”

Mol was sat down next to them. Her legs were spread, her elbows were on her knees, she had the wine bottle in one hand and was staring at someone. She took a swig and then nodded and winked.

“Okay, we may need to start braiding now. I think we're losing her" Arabella laughed and started working.

Faeryl leaned against the door frame to Dammon's small forge. According to what Dammon has told her, this was nothing compared to the one that he had in Baulder's Gate. She was surprised that she had never been to his shop. She knew that Mol and Arabella went there frequently to trade the weapons they would pick up on guild missions, but Faeryl was always out doing something else. The something else was mainly playing with the local cats near the home the three of them rented together. Had she chosen running errands over petting the cats, she may have met him sooner. Maybe they would have been more than just friends by now. She imagined his lips on hers and her heart started to race. His eyes were the color of the sky, a beautiful shade of blue she would have never known in the underdark. Maybe he felt the same about her? Maybe they could explore their favorite pleasures together. Mayb-

“Oh Faeryl! Did you need something?”

Faeryl jumped a little bit. She hadn't realized that she had been staring off into space. She turned a shade of pink when she realized that she had been staring off in his direction for gods know how long.

“Oh um. I was just wondering where you were. I didn't see you out celebrating” She rubbed the back of her neck hoping that it would calm her down a little bit.

“Well. I had a client from this grove request this sword as soon as possible. I come here monthly because many of my clients can't make it to Baulder's Gate to buy my products, so they pay extra when I have to come out. I feel a little bad about celebrating while my job isn't done yet.”

Faeryl walked up to see the sword that he was working on. It was a light weight short sword. No doubt it was for a small woman as the handle was adorned with intricate swirls and designs.

“It's beautiful"

“Thank you" Dammon chuckled and smiled, “Can I ask you why you're not out celebrating? The night is still young and as far as I know they usually celebrate until dawn.”

Faeryl laughed and hopped up on his work table, “Oh I got bored. Mol is out there pit pocketing people and kissing girls. Arabella is flirting with Rolan.”

Dammon laughed and seemed genuinely surprised. He set down his hammer and pulled off his gloves. “Rolan? You can't be serious.”

Faeryl responded with a shrug. “I suppose it’s the wine and brandy speaking, rather than any of the brain cells the two have left after finishing three bottles together.”

“And you? Did you share a drink with anyone?” He came over and sat on the table next to her. She noticed that his feet still touched the ground and hers were dangling. Faeryl couldn't help but to think about how tall and handsome he was.  

“Other than the two idiots I came with? No. Everyone in this grove seems a little scared of me. I don't blame them. The majority of the druids out there are wood elves and they seem to have a disdain for drow, even if I am half wood elf”

“For what it’s worth. I enjoy the company you bring. Well, I also enjoy the honey buns you bring me in the mornings when I'm here. That being said, I do wait on you to stop by.”

Faeryl's heart felt like it was going to explode as he smiled at her. Gods was it noticeable that she was fawning over him? She kissed so many lips and wasn't completely innocent in the sexual favors department, but something about him made her lose all sense.

“It's nice to know that you think of me that way. Thank you. But you must have someone you're excited to see back home?” Faeryl was hoping the answer was no, but she knew there was a good chance that he did have someone back home. Though she never visited his forge, she's always heard many young women mention his name along with how handsome they thought he was.

“Actually, no. It hasn't really crossed my mind. I just keep getting more and more orders and clients. So, it hasn't been a priority. And you?”

“If we're being honest? No. I've kind of been on the run and then I saw my half brother, lost control of my wildshape and now I'm here. I haven't felt safe enough to get close anyone other than Mol and Arabella . . .” Faeryl started to wonder off in her conversation. She looked down at the ground. Everything so far has been a whirlwind of events. All of it happened so fast she never had time to process it. If Alistair found her in Baulder's Gate after all these years, there's no doubt he would find her again. Her days were numbered. It was now or never. She didn't want to die, not yet, not without knowing what love was. Not without knowing the passion behind it. Every act of intimacy up until this point had been a façade. There was no pleasure, just the anxiety of hoping the act was enough to ensure her survival.

“Faeryl?”

“Dammon. Listen. Please don't feel pressured to do or say anything, but I feel safest here. With you.”

She had looked up from the ground to find that he was standing in front of her. He leaned in and kissed her. It was so tender and sweet. Faeryl thought she might faint. The longer their lips intertwined the more light headed she got. When he pulled away he lifted her chin with his index finger and caressed her bottom lip with his thumb.

“Gods, I thought it was all in my head.” He kissed her again. This time it was it was more eager and harder. He kissed her as if he had been starved for a millennium. She began to untie the strings of her blouse. He slowly pulled the garment past her shoulders, exposing her breasts. Her nipples pebbled as the cool night air hit them. He pulled away from their kiss and soaked in the site. She was beautiful. Her cheeks were flushed a rosy pink color, her silver hair fell from her braid and framed her face perfectly, and her eyes, Gods, Dammon couldn't handle how gorgeous her eyes were. They were adorned with long silver lashes, her hazel irises had flecks of gold in them, and they had this innocent doe like look to them.

“Fuck me, you look like a princess,” he breathed. He ripped off his apron and shirt and placed tender kissed on her collar bone. Faeryl let out a small gasp as he began to place light marks on her skin. He began to undo her trousers, but stopped when he felt her hand on top of his. She was shaking.

“I'm sorry, am I going too fast?”

“No, not at all. It's just that. . . I haven't. . . I was only allowed to seduce in the underdark. A kiss was nothing, oral wasn't a big deal, but no one was every allowed to actually have sex with me. My mother, she held my virginity to the highest bidder – of course I ran before that happened”

“Are you frightened?”

“Not with you. Every other man who placed their hands on me wanted to hurt me – I know you would never. Not on purpose.”

He kissed her forehead “I'll be gentle. We'll go your pace. Just tell me when you're uncomfortable.”

She nodded.

Kalim somehow gets it in his mind that he wants to try doing “stuff” while Jamil hypnotizes him so that he’s under Jamil’s control.

Anyway he brings this up to Jamil and Jamil just stares at him for a like a solid 10 seconds before he starts yelling and lecturing about when an idiot Kalim is and how he must be out of his goddamn mind to even think of this let alone ask him about.

It’s a long long lecture spiral about what a stupid idea it is, about Kalim is more of an idiot than Jamil thought he was (i swear it’s out of concern, because, come on).

Jamil leaves Kalim’s room in a huff super angry and absolutely stupefied about how Kalim can even think this was a good idea.

I mean just look at Book 4 and what Jamil was making him do under his  hypnotism  

But after like a week or 2 Jamil can’t stop thinking about it.

It’s not even he would have Kalim do anything sexual, it’s would just be stuff Jamil low key wants but is far too embarrassed to ask for.

Stuff like Kalim calling him “master”, feeding him grapes, giving him foot massages and generally treating Jamil like he was royalty.

Like yeah, Jamil would totally get off on all that, but he just wants to be pampered and treated like a king.

Which all this is stuff Kalim would %100 do if Jamil asked anyway

But Jamil is way too embarrassed to actually ask for that, because he feels like it would be revealing too much about himself

It’s something he can’t get off his mind, because he does really really want that.

Kalim has totally dropped the subject and never brought it up again after how Jamil reacted and figures it will never come up again, which he’s fine with. It was just an idea that popped into his head.

But like after a month or so, Jamil nervously cautiously brings it up again.

He asks what kinds of things Kalim would even want under  hypnotism, especially cause Kalim wouldn’t remember anything under Jamil’s unique magic, so he doesn’t understand what Kalim would get out of it.

“I don’t really know. Hmmmmm..... But I’m open to ideas. I trust you Jamil! :)”

Eventually Jamil straight up asks if what Kalim had in mind was having sex under hypnotism.

So basically her name is Briar, I'm still not sure about her last name, I don't wanna give her a weird last name but I also don't want to give her a basic american last name (I'm not from the states so i have no idea what a good last name would be)

She is a work in progress character, I may have been playing fallout 3 since may but I just kept repeating the beginning lol so I didn't have a lot of character development for her until recently.

I gave her the same s.p.e.c.i.a.l. as james bc I thought it would be adorable outside the vault so

but recently I have been thinking about lowering intelligence and perception and raising charisma and luck, because I think that would be funny.

in every playthrough I do with her she gets the child at heart perk, so yeah she's a child at heart. her favourite settlement is actually Little Lamplight because 1: it looks cool af and 2: she likes teasing Mayor Maccready.

she's bisexual, but she never was in a relationship before or really felt anything towards her fellow vault inhabitants or anyone she met outside, how she discovered it shall remain a secret to us all (it were the gronak the barbarian comics)

she doesn't have any companions because they are very annoying when it comes to sneaking around (looking at you dogmeat and star paladdin cross)

she her favorite colour is pink.

She carries the teddy (the one from the toy box in "Baby Steps") around with her everywhere, as well as a bible which once belonged to Catherine and then belonged to James until finally she took it with her into the wasteland, although she herself is agnostic it means a lot to her.

I would love to be self indulgent and give her a phobia of dogs but i'm still unsure about it, and it would add a lot to her character because the wasteland is a scary place with actual monsters and her biggest fear being dogs would be interesting to say the least.

She definitely takes like 100% after james lookswise, well structure wise some of her facial features come from catherine but for the most part she's just james' mini me.

her birthday is the Lone Wander's canon birthday 13th of July 2258.

she is very high Karma (i legit cannot be mean to NPCs, I was so upset when I got low Karma for helping that one guy impress Sienna Pretovia)

she wears Jonas' glasses, she doesn't need glasses, but it's a sentimental thing...as well as a fashion statement.

speaking of jonas, he and her were up to mischief quite a lot, he was like an older brother/cousin to her and everytime she got into a fight with Butch she hoped it was jonas that would treat her because she loves to trash talk her classmates (and the overseer) and he tolerates it. (I LOVE JONAS SO DAMN MUCH!!!!!!!)

she scored clinical test subject on her G.O.A.T., which, in my understanding, is really cynical because it would force her dad to experiment on her (I have no idea what a clinical test subject actually does), she wanted to be a pip-boy programmer, she always thought Stanley's work and talk was interesting, she was really dissapointed with her result (honestly I'm pretty sure the results of the G.O.A.T. are actually predetermined by the overseer but that's just my opinion)

she ends up sacraficing herself for project purity, not because she doesn't like the botherhood of steel or something (actually she thinks they are sus but that's not important rn) and she also doesn't want someone else to sacrafice themself for it...her family started it so her family should end it to, that's kind of her way of thinking about it.

this sacrafice is also kind part of my idea of implementing her into fallout 4 (idc about nv tbh), thank you dr. li for becoming part of the institute, I mean Madision must feel horrible first two of her closest confidants die and then their daughter sacrafices herself for their life's (???) work, that must have left her with severe survivor's guilt so her creating a synth version of briar could be kinda her way to cope I guess, but I'm still not sure about this one lol (i just want my girl to interact with the now older maccready because i think that would be funny)
