this is a post i would really rather not make because i think the degree of petty drama its caused is in itself symptomatic of how childishly hung up we are on this one fucking character but:

admin bright has actively leveraged the notoriety of their character for grooming as recently as 2020. it is impossible to separate the art from the artist in this case, as the art has been, and might still be used as a tool for luring in victims. the continued prevalence bright both on the wiki itself and in fandom is actively providing a platform to a groomer. creating fanwork of the character is a genuine moral failing at this point.

the scp canon possesses a uniquely immense breadth and variety of ideas and stories. you can find something else to get attached to in there, or if you can't let go of scp-963, engage in a bit of creative writing yourself and create an oc to fill its slot. the world is your oyster here.

i won't ever make anything with bright in it again, and neither should you. and i'd honestly rather you get off my blog if you can't muster up that bit of spine.

HOW does your art look digital even on paper??? /pos I love it

I use a light table!! It lets me keep my sketches (there were three in this case previous to the final) entirely separate, so there's no stray pencil marks or anything on the final. The hair even got its own piece of paper during the sketching!

So really, the way I use a light table is very similar to the way I would draw digitally. In layers! :3

Love going on long ass rambles about my thoughts on characters and stuff, posting it, and having basically no one interact with it And I mean that genuinely, it's so funny to me, because I can only imagine people checking the tag and seeing my username with a mile a text following it like "oh god not again..."

I've started playing Potion Permit, and so far it's one of my favorite games I've messed around with, but the most big brained move the devs made was giving you a dog on day 1, and then making that dog able to track NPCs and lead you directly to them no matter where they are in the town.

and another thing! i hated her 3 bowl egg cracking method. what do you mean youre making 3 bowls dirty because you want to crack some eggs. you can at the very least eliminate the bowl for the egg shells by, idk, throwing them straight in the trash??? are you insane???
