And I actually made a birthday Toranoana order back on 14 August. Never got round to posting about it!

First 3 are modern-day AUs. The first one has Ichigo and Mikazuki as newly-weds~♡

The second one is an anthology of the ‘Awataguchi Binbou Monogatari’ (Awataguchi Poverty Story). It’s a parody of Ai Morinaga’s ‘Yamada Tarou Monogatari’, which is one of my fave manga~!! In the original, Tarou is the oldest child of a large and very poor family. His father is never around and his mother is sickly and a spendthrift, so it’s up to Tarou to take care of all his younger brothers and sisters by taking up all sorts of part-time jobs. Tarou is basically the perfect big brother and someone who perpetually give off this very princely aura! XD He’s also a scholarship student at the most prestigious school (where everyone thinks he must be super rich!) and great at both sports and academics. Tarou is Ichigo!

3rd and 4th are TsuruIchi. Pretty obvious what their premises are from the covers. 5th is much Pinkpompom cute fluffiness~♡ Akago and Chibi Kuninaga finally meet! 6th is Tasuku x Tsumugi.

Sometimes I do think.... wtf am I doing spending so much money on doujins????? 

But the thing is, I like reading manga!!! And I read really fast!!! Once I’ve finished a book, I want another one!!!! Nevertheless, I have SERIOUSLY cut down on buying random books. 90% of the times I now only buy new releases from artists I already collect. 

(Not counting any of the funny stuffs) The artists which I still buy for sure are:

1) vgmt’s kuroken (Haikyuu)

When the most mundane scenes become the sweetest stories. My all time favourite kuroken artist, and the only one still in the fandom/releasing regularly to this date. I am blessed and grateful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Get their new book in Aug!!!!!!!)

2) サーモン山田’s otayuri (Yuri on Ice)

Been in love with how they draw Yurio & Otabek since day one. Really genuine teenage romance feel~ (Why their first book never been re-stocked tho?? Not even ONCE?!!)

3) とりのこ’s ichitsuru (Touken Ranbu)

Oh god I love Ichigo x Tsurumaru. Or is it Torinoko’s ichitsuru I love? humm... Fluffy, comforting, domestic relationship mixed with complex, surprising stories fit to be tv series. Parallel worlds, time travelling, ghost linking worlds together, age difference, single parenting, bitter ex-lovers... nearly every base has been covered lol!! 

4) はも’s Shokudaikiri x Hasebe (Touken Ranbu)

Another super talented story teller from the tourabu fandom. If you’re lucky enough to get their books before they fly off the shelves, you will be treated to passionate, unforgettable (& often dark) tales filled with twists and turns. Furthermore, Mitsutada and Hasebe’s personalities are depicted differently every time, hence things aren’t always peachy between the two leads...

5) Acairo’s narusasu (Naruto)

I have a soft spot for angsty Naruto x Sasuke, man. And god, the art is so good + the pain so real. Go read their on-going multi book series 不断の絆 (Unbreakable Bonds) and get fucked up!! 

I read Torinoko’s 夏休みが終わるまで earlier and all I wanna do now is run out to the world and make everyone read it. :’)))) Get her antho vol.2!!!!!!

(Although after writing this post, I’m remembering plots from Hamo and Acairo’s stories which is diminishing the warm glow I got from Torinoko...)

Ichigo is drunk and sees Mikazuki everywhere! XD He’s all giggly and ‘Mikazuki is everywhere~! I’m so happy~’ He’s in Mikazuki heaven~! XD While Mikazuki is all ‘You’re allowed to love only me!!’ :3c - 1 RyuSou one where they turn chibi! The sample pages are really cute as well. I love how Tenn automatically assumes little Sogo is Gaku’s secret child! XD While Ryu is all ‘Ahh! So cute! Must cuddle!’
