Yasusada nodded, taking note of his next expedition mission as--

Oh no not the idols again. Remember that time Yasusada had a nightmare about that?

"No I don't wanna deal with another AWT48 shenanigans please Aruji!"

"Oho~" He picked up one jewel case and examined it rather thoughtfully. "Fascinating picks, Aruji. I might also have to ask Mutusnokami-kun if there were any records of vinyls from the West we can peruse. I hear they have great composers during certain eras~"

Nankaitarou then stood up (while quickly slid the jewel case CD in his pocket; for research purposes no doubt) and bowed slightly towards the saniwa. "I'll meet up with him afterwards, but I will continue looking out for signs in the meantime. We should be alright for now."

Then he patted Yasusada's head gently as he passed by. "Oh dear, I do believe you look like you're about to get a headache yourself, Yamatonokami-kun. Shall I take you to the repair room right away?"

Don't worry Sensei, he'll survive.

"Thank you. Inform Yagen of the full situation when you meet with him, please?"

Yuichi made sure to note all of these plans down, just in case the Government decided to ask for details, but more so just so he could keep it all straight himself, and check it to keep him grounded while the situation was happening.

"I'll organize a team for another expedition to Edo, then. I think I'll have you lead that team, Yamatonokami."

He was listening to Nankaitarou's suggestion, but was a bit confused as to how it might help with the illness... and then he was reminded of why he'd called Yamatonokami to his office in the first place.

"Oh, that." He paused in thought for a few moments, before shaking his head. "We can keep those around, but I think this time instead of reactive measures, we should be proactive. Actually..."

Yuichi stood up and retreated to his connected living quarters, and after a few moments returned with some CDs.

"I think I might show these to Gokotai, Midare, and their brothers," he explained, laying the jewel cases out on the table. "Some idol albums, and a couple animated movie soundtracks... It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but at the very least there might be some variety. And anything's better than the baby shark."

Hakusan x Ichigo recollection - Brother of the tsurugi

Hakusan: I feel a Touken Danshi behind me… I have determined it to be Ichigo Hitofuri.

Ichigo: Ah, I’ve been found out before I’ve even had a chance to greet you.

Hakusan: Is something the matter?

Ichigo: I was just a bit worried about a brother of mine being here all alone. 

Hakusan: Brother… that is true, we were both crafted by Toushiro Yoshimitsu, however, I am a tsurugi.

Ichigo: Well, I’m a tachi, our younger brothers are wakizashi and tantou. We’re all different. 

Hakusan: Katana and tsurugi are different. They will all think I am very weird. (Hakusan is a double-edged sword while the other Awataguchi are single-edged.)

Ichigo: Why would we think our own brother is weird?

Hakusan: I am different from the other Touken Danshi who are katana. I am incapable of conversing normally like a person. 

Ichigo: There’s nothing wrong with having a brother who is bad at speaking. That’s what I feel.

In which Ichigo continues to be the best big brother~! Let him love you, Hakusan! And I imagine Ichigo will probably do his best to make sure Hakusan feels included and very much loved in their large family!

He'll live, don't worry.

Then again, if they can make it through Nihongou and Jiroutachi's awful drunk singing every couple of weeks, Yasusada can power through another AWT48 wave. Maybe.

He composed himself after a short while. "Horikawa might be into that sort of thing though, he'll probably try to get all five of us to make a band or something. That'd be real funny to see."

"Anyway, I think we're all good for now in terms of necessities and stuff. If ever we need anything else, I'll get everyone to let you know. But Aruji, I mean what I said before: you gotta let us take care of you too sometimes."

"We're not just here to fight against retrograde armies trying to mess with the timelines, we're also here to protect the man who brought us all here for that purpose. I think I can say for everyone that no matter who our former masters were, it's you that we're sworn to protect now. You keep us all provided for and protected; letting us do the same for you is the most we can ask of you, Aruji."

"Oh, please do," Yuichi agrees. "Thank you again for all your help, Nankaitarou."

He can't help but laugh at Yasusada's reaction. He reaches out to pat him, too, on the shoulder.

"Aw, it's not that bad! I like it~! Besides. There are several CDs here, so they have a lot to choose from-- and there's a decent variety. You might like some of it yourself. Who knows, hm? Maybe soon you'll be wanting to join them? Or maybe you and Kashuu can form a duo?"

He's joking, but he does stand by his decision.

"Either way, I think we can all agree that it's better than this..." He lowers his voice. "'Baby Shark' song that we'll be cursed with if it breaks out too far, no?"

Hi, Anon~!  Hehe, I know I’m adorable, but I don’t mind people telling me so…~AWT48, neh?  I don’t know what you mean by ‘comeback’ as my brothers and I put on shows at least once a month under the full moon!  Ichi-nii doesn’t always join in, but when he does we’re all the more motivated to sing better next time~!
