Hallo! Welcome to my rewrite! In this post I'll be explain the basics of the rewrite and some changes (Not including the student name changes, I'll do them club by club)

✿Hanako is the same age as the first years but she has age regression. Her and Taro aren't biological siblings and Hanako is actually an orphan that witnessed her parents die and developed age regression.

✿There is an explanation on why the Aishi's have no emotions! The first Aishi's in Japan made a deal with the empty demon to be wealthy resulting in their daughter being emotionless.

✿Ichiko (Megami's aunt) replaces Jokichi as Senpai and is trans fem. Ryoba grows close to her and falls in love.

✿Suitor change! , Chigusa and Ritsuko have new suitors. Chigusa has Ryusei and Ritsuko has Sumiko

✿Magical Girl Pretty Miyuki is a 2000's anime

✿Irl animes exist but extremely weird animes don't, psychological horror animes do exist

I've had this neat little idea for a hypothetical character arc for megami.

So we all know that megami was pretty much born and raised to eventually hold the mantle of CEO of saikou corp.

I mean her dad literally forced her to kill a pet hamster she had because it "served no purpose to saikou corp." or whatever.

Well, what if Saikou Corp was shut down?

I imagine megami feeling pretty lost and not sure of what to do from that point. The thing that she has been built up to take over; gone.

Leaving her feeling as if she lacks purpose and not sure as to who actually she is. Though, I imagine the council members helping through it.

As for how the rest of the saikou family would feel, I had not thought about that yet..

Though, as for her little brother (can't remember his name right now) I feel like he'd also feel lost given his sibling rivalry with her.

Being perfect to take over the company was the thing that would earn "Daddy's approval" and with that being gone, I feel there would be no reason for there to be any bad blood between them causing to grow as siblings.

Maybe that can get into contact with their aunt, ichiko and be a happy, worthless family.

I don't know, my ideas are kinda dumb anyway lmao.

Some information( or headcanons) on the future family of Kaga and Megami.

⚠️ the children are not canon. I made them up. ⚠️

Between the four, Ichiro is the tallest, Megami is the second tallest, Ikumi is the third, and then there's Kaga, who's the shortest.

Here are the heights just to get an idea on how they look like next to each other :D

Ichiro and Ikumi are two years apart, just like Megami and Kencho.

Ichiro is named after his grandfather, which he despises. So, he would rather be called Hiro for short, but it's only for family and friends he trusts. If Megami or Kaga are upset with him, they will call him by his FULL name. They do the same with Ikumi. Don't worry. They rarely get in trouble, and if they do, it's for a good reason.

Ikumi and Ichiro took Megami's looks. They both have silver-blue-ish hair, but it's slightly darker. The only thing they got from Kaga appearance wise is his eyes. The blue with the spiral eyes he got. Ichiro got some of Kaga's facial features.

The main reason why Ichiro was the first, first born baby boy is because the Y chromosome came from Kaga. Considering that Kaga is the first born male in his family and is the only child, there was a chance of their baby being a boy.

Ikumi and Ichiro have that cold, icy look like their mother does. They're still living in an environment where affection and emotions are not allowed. At least, not around the rest of the family.

Between the four, they do show affection and emotions towards one another whenever Ichirou is not around.

Ichiro and Ikumi are very close siblings. They don't have that rift that Megami and Kencho have. Megami decided to change it and not let her children experience the same thing as she did with Kencho. She made sure they were close and by each other's side as siblings should be.

They both do know about Ichiko's existence. Ichiro doesn't really care about her because his main focus is Saikou Corp. However, Ikumi is much more interested in the topic of Ichiko leaving the family and wonders where she is now. She does try to do research on her when she has free time.

Kaga and Megami love their children dearly. They adore them too ,more than anything.

Ichiro and Ikumi are slightly eccentric because they spend a lot of their time with their father and grandparents of their father's side. They don't see Megami's father as a grandfather. They do see Tsuma as their grandmother, but it's only a formal relationship.

Ichirou gave his own grandson trauma and pretty much ignored his granddaughter. Ichirou doesn't care about Kaga and what happens to him because his only role as a male in the family was to give him heirs. Ichirou is willing to kill Kaga if he gets out of line. He can change his mind if Kaga does something right and something extraordinary for Saikou Corp.

Tsuma is very formal with them. Just like she did with Megami, she didn't try to build a strong bond with them because she was taught to keep herself out on how the Saikou children are raised.

They have a very bad relationship with their uncle and their cousins (at least when they are younger).

When Ichiro and Ikumi were much younger, their cousins saw them as threats and enemies because of how Kencho raised them and told them how Ichiro and Ikumi were a bother in the family and a disgrace to the Saikou family. Kencho doesn't like Kaga, not even one bit. Kencho thinks he's a lunatic. He sees him as someone who should be cleaning the floor he stands on, not being the CEO of Saikou Corp.

Kaga and Kencho don't talk much. If they do, it's mostly Kencho talking smack towards him. Kaga ignores him or scares him off.

Kencho was the first to go against the idea of Kaga and Megami getting married.

"You can disown me if you need him that much." That's what Kencho said to his father once he found out Megami and Kaga were getting married.

Kencho also sees Kaga as an enemy because he is the reason why Ichiro was born. Kencho wanted to be the first one to give his father the first, firstborn male, but instead, he had a daughter as his first. Kencho spoils his children a lot but does also raise them the same way his father raised him and Megami.

Kencho had two children with his hot wife. One girl and one boy.

As Ichiro and Ikumi get older, they heal that rift between them and their cousins.

Their cousins are jealous of them for having a good family. A loving mother and a father who is as loud as ever who isn't scared to show his eccentric side and does spend time with them. They respect Megami and Kaga as they get older, but when they were younger, they didn't because of how Kencho raised them to see their aunt and uncle. There's a lot of drama, lol.

There is a timeline where Kencho and Kaga get along, but in this one, they don't.

Ikumi and Ichiro do question how their father was able to pursue their mother.

Megami is known to be the most gorgeous, intelligent, and powerful woman in Japan (so far) that Ichiro and Ikumi can't really believe that their father was able to win their mother's heart. They always ask Kaga questions about it.

"What did you do to pursue her?"

"Did you buy her something?"

"Did you accept a deal from her?"

"Did she drag you to marry her?"

"Were you her only option?"

"Did you rock her world that good?"

Among others. Kaga doesn't really answer because he doesn't even know himself on how Megami fell for him.

They go out as a family to spend time together. They go to the park, go on vacation, go to cafes, restaurants, etc.

Ikumi and Ichiro are always next to their parents when they are working on something for Saikou Corp, or in meetings, or events.

Kaga can either be building or sketching out new products for Saikou Corp, so the two would help Kaga with it. If Megami is working on something on her computer related to Saikou Corp, they are next to her, watching what she's doing and Megami would teach them on what to do, how to do it, etc.

Ichiro and Ikumi admire their parents a lot and look up to them.

Kaga is the fun parent, while Megami is the serious parent. It's like good cop and bad cop type of thing.

Ichiro and Ikumi don't like getting their parents mad, especially if Kaga is the one being mad.

If Kaga is mad or just pissed off, they know they fucked up. Kaga rarely got angry with them or anyone. He doesn't have anyone who can get under his skin or push his buttons compared to Megami, who has Kencho, who knows how to get under her skin and push her buttons. He is the quiet type. If he's mad, he'll work on his inventions to calm himself down and keep his mind distracted. If not that, he's either planning something. He's a mad scientist. He can do anything to the individual and CEO of Saikou Corp. (He wouldn't hurt his own children. Just give them the silent treatment mostly to tell them that he needed space to calm down and think)

Kaga will go to Megami and calm down with her by telling her what happened. Unless he knows that Megami will get mad as well, then he won't. Megami is already scary enough, lol.

When the children were younger, they were very clingy towards Kaga. If Kaga wasn't around, then they would be clingy towards Megami.

Megami makes time to brush Ikumi's long hair to spend time with her and chat.

Ikumi and Ichiro have bodyguards whenever they go somewhere away from Saikou Corp. It doesn't matter where they go. They have at least two-four bodyguards protecting them.

Kaga was the one to take care of them both while Megami focused on Saikou Corp if she was needed badly or had to go to a meeting or event.

Megami made a promise to her children that she would always show them love and affection. She didn't want her children to experience what she went through with her own parents.

Kaga always made time for his children. He was surrounded by love by his parents. He wanted to do the same for them and spend as much time with them as possible like his parents did for him. And show them fun and most likely dangerous experiments. 😀

This is like almost the entirety of the lore so please bear with me.

Sakura nō Hana Academy is a school built around the late 1950's by the Department of Education in Japan, which was funded by Saisho Saikou - Ichiko Saikou, his daughter, was one of the enrollees there. But shortly after her disappearance back in the early days of 1990, her case was ultimately closed as she is legally an adult by then so there was no point in asking her to come home. However, the school kept functioning even without their biggest donor as he had already died before 202X. As of then, the supportive parents of students pay heafty sums of money to keep the school going for future endeavors. The school was functional from 1955 up until 202X, almost closing down in the 1980's.

“I don't usually talk about these stuff but I feel like I have to vent what's been on my mind recently... The night patrol system is really messing with my brain, like I keep seeing something that isn't there or... Misplaced items like my ballpen, I put it down, but when I get up, it's not there anymore... And I'm kinda scared, it feels like those... Horror novels that the occult club reads... I never really liked the idea of ghosts being here in the academy but... Those are just... Tales, right? They aren't real! It's all just... In my head... I just hope it's mental fatigue, I've been sleeping unwell recently...”

Like most schools, the academy also had it's fair share of ghost stories and tales as old as time. However most have been debunked, many still believe that the supernatural lurks upon humans, who knows, one may have already passed by one, perhaps not. It's just a tale used to scare students to make sure they don't overtime.

“This seems pretty exaggerated if you ask me. Why make us do this and put us at risk? We're people too y'know! It's almost hard to comprehend that we're only teenagers. We aren't security guards, we're only tasked to reinforce the law here! Man, I wish people understood that we can't be taking huge responsibilities at ages like this, it's total bullshit! Ghosts and legends aren't real!”

The night patrols were a common thing, from 1955 until 1990, two to three members of the student council would overtime until 8PM to ensure that the school was locked up for tonight, however, in 1989, during the presidency of Reiichi Tanaami he had said that he would wish to abolish the night patrols and let the student council go home the same time as normal students.

Safety was the priority, but what exactly was the cause of safety being prioritized?

“I never quite understood why we were tasked with these to begin with, it's not like there's a ghost here in the academy, that just sounds like pure bullshit... But then again, orders are orders - You can never defy them no matter how hard you want to. I just wish that the headmaster didn't take safety this far because I sacrifice sleep for this, and it's usually not worth the time nor effort, I have to cover shifts for some of the others due to the fact that they have important stuff to do. But I can't help but have this nagging feeling in my gut that something isn't entirely safe about the school, what makes me think of that? The cherry tree behind the school, the tales say that's where the school's name originated from, but I always found it... Odd that it's on top of a hill, but I'm not the type to usually question that...”

Reiichi didn't trust the fact the headmaster was having young teens take on such a responsibility, night patrol was scary enough, especially to Joze, who was only 14 in 1989. Reiichi allowed Joze to fall back and not participate as obviously, he was young, and he was also scared.

“I want to admit this for my sake but... I'm sort of terrified of the idea in joining night patrols... I don't trust it. It doesn't feel safe. I don't have much time to admit how I truly feel because the others might come back soon. Meu deus, the others might think I'm a coward... But then again, they probably understood... I'm afraid of the dark but I also feel somewhat unsafe whenever I get close to that cherry tree behind the school, something feels... Off about it. I don't wanna talk about it too much because I might be going crazy... I'm too scared to ask for reassurance that I'm not crazy because I don't want to look mentally unstable infront of the others, it would be humiliating and even concerning...”

It was unclear as to student council on why Joze never took the nightshifts, they knew he was scared but we're unsure of the main cause, not like the school had ghosts... Unless there was. Arutea Torentino, the vice president of the student council and Reiichi's right hand woman, was very wary and scared herself, but she had to bite her tongue and man up, she has a rosary on her person a lot. She's not overly religious in any way, but still keeps it with her at all times.

“The first nights of my night patrol weren't that bad, but I never really liked it either. Me and my friends have the same thought, even though they don't express it, I can tell that this whole night patrol thing is unsafe and puts our lives at risk. I never trusted the idea but I had to agree, I was pretty hesitant, which was already odd enough. I don't usually hesitate to good ideas... But something deep inside said that it wasn't. But I had no choice but to bite my tongue and man up for it because I have no choice. It was never easy to leave the room and go on patrol, but atleast you're never alone, you have someone to keep you company, and as long as you and your companion have a flashlight, it doesn't feel that unsafe... But still, something about schools at night still freak me out, I used to overtime a lot back in the Philippines but never had I expected to relive the same nightmare here in Japan... Hopefully, the headmaster changes his mind and abolishes the idea entirely...”

Reiichi had many reasons to entrust Arutea to be the next president, it's because he had faith in her that she will lead with a head held high and never back down from any challenges. The student council is about teamwork, not who can outbest who. As Arutea stepped to become the next president, she abolished the night patrol thing, leaving the school at peace...

“I never really planned to cut my hair, I didn't but I just randomly thought of it one time during night patrol. I don't usually think of cutting my hair since it's long enough that I'd like to keep it that way. However, something feels weird, like I do get startled when something gets stuck pulls my ponytail like a metal rod or something, that's why I switched to putting my hair in a bun, but I randomly decided to keep it as a permanent hairstyle choice, I usually patrol alone at night, despite how mentally exhausting it can be, I do get paranoid, but I don't like having the others scream all the time. I usually enter the gym when on patrol too, but one night, my body didn't allow me to move any further past the doors. Like my mind was telling me to go inside but my guts didn't like the idea of going inside at all. So I just shut the gym doors, turned on my heel and went back to the meeting room to give in my status report... It was odd but it felt right to not go inside. Also, the cherry tree behind the school was dead at the time, I don't know why but it just refused to bloom, but it did bloom the following week and at the same time, the nagging feelings were gone.”

Though despite how unsafe it was, many people still enroll their kids in the academy, the tales are lost to time and won't be remembered at all, hopefully that parents and students alike will remember the motto of Sakura nō Hana Academy is: "Your future is what we nurture!"

hi! as of 10/29, i’m deeming this outdated. it made sense in the moment, but i feel dissatisfied with this. i’ll keep this post up as a little peek into the creating process.

Akademi? Never heard of that. A formerly prestigious high school for the highest-esteemed young men and women, now a silly little community of people, mostly those who just so happen to be smarties? I believe you’re talking about Saikou Prep, at least nowadays.

Saikou Corp is a company dedicated to improving Japan. While they mainly focus on technology, they also dabble in other things, such as education. Sometime in the 1980s, Ichiko Saikou, daughter of the CEO, had proposed the idea of a school.

With the [help] of her father, they came up with Saikou Prep, a private high school meant to prepare students for the hustle and bustle of the adult world. It makes sense that she suggested the idea, Ichiko did get a [good education], after all! [1 0] Although it started all high and mighty, it's softened over the years. That's not an insult, it's actually gotten a lot better.

Of course it has, the kiddos are our [future], after all!

Yesss! I believe the Saikou siblings often get to play against each other. Kencho trying to prove himself as the better one but always losing against his sister

And Ichirou is looking at his kids with a bittersweet feeling, remembering how he was competing like that with Ichiko with the same outcome

I was reading about Megami's daily routine and the sports she does and I was like... where's tennis? I always thought that rich kids played tennis, or at least that's the idea I got from movies and TV series. She could have been a really pretty tennis girl.

I wasn't sure whether to draw the skirt or the shorts, so I drew them both.
