I know you said after the 10 year but I had thoughts for prior. There's a lot of characters that just fall of and we never hear about that I wanted to know how they are. We maybe saw them in a wide shot manga panel but that's all. I mean IDGAF who ended up with who more or less. Not an Ichiruki or Ichihime fan. I mean most people don't even understand what the symbology between Ichigo and Rukia even is? Or why people didn't get Orihime ending up with Ichigo?
There was a post freaking out about the red string tied between Ichigo and Rukia in a cover art, saying it implied romance but it doesn't. The Chinese string of marriage, sure, but in Japanese mythology the red string is when the gods tied the destiny of two people together. These two are explicitly soulmates, but I'm a strong believer it was platonic. Do I think Ichigo had a crush at some point? Absolutely. Do I think Rukia ever did? Not a chance. I always saw her as the big sister type to him, and they really showed the shared braincell. Rukia was the reason the entire series happened (well and Aizen) but she was the one to start it all. She was the one to teach Ichigo. She made the rain stop, she made him keep moving forward when he had his head in his ass. Rukia deserves more respect. I'm a big Renruki fan too if I'm completely honest,
Ichihime just never did it for me either. My biggest problem is the people defending Orihime always say that she may be weak, but she brings out the feminine qualities and the TLC vibes with Ichigo. I disagree. I think Orihime is Kubo's type and that was why he made her Ichigo's. I also get so mad when shippers defend Orihime like she's some baby that needs coddling. If this woman had a full character arc you would be respecting her and talking about how awesome she is. But she never got that. She got a moment of crying on the bathroom floor, of admitting Rukia means more to Ichigo than she does. A lot of shippers fight about the Ulquiorra VL scene. In the original kanji it's a unisex kanji. Ichigo is getting up because somebody needs him. That is his character. Orihime had god level powers that's strength was based on her will. It showed how much she gave up on Ichigo when Ulquiorra killed him. And that to me was the point when she should've shined and been strong for him. But she wasn't. She literally started screaming for help and did nothing. That is not a full character arc and Orihime fans should've been furious and yet they treat this scene as a shining moment because of Ichigo's reaction. Is that all she amounts to? Ichigo's opinions? Do you not see the problem with that? Orihime is more than a love interest and deserved better.
As for the chapters, holy shit were they rushed. Like I get this all happened in a few days but I mean, these chapters weren't detailed, they felt rushed, and very anticlimactic, I do understand Kubo's reasoning. I'm just glad they're animating it and fleshing it out. I think part of the problem with the ending was how abrupt it was? I did like Aizen coming back, but I would've preferred Aizen stalling for time, then Uryū and Ichigo working together in unison to take down Yhwach. That was the ending I expected when I found out it was a Quincy enemy.
I also find Ichigo's storyline kinda messy. Like after Aizen's imprisonment we just kinda jump to Ichigo not liking life. He clearly finds the mundane hard to come back to after the loss of his powers. And I also felt like their friend group was the type that would go separate ways after Highschool, like a normal group of friends, and recon in like the 10 year time skip. That made the most sense to me. I never saw Ichigo as the type to join the Gotei 13, he would never obey Shunsui or listen to rules, but I always saw him as having an official station in Karakura or a special sort of career in that sense. I always saw him as settling down with a woman who was career oriented, him being a house husband by day and soul reaper by night type. But that never panned the way I thought.
I think they did ok with Rukia, she became a captain, and climbed the ladder. It would've been way more symbolic if Byakuya died against As Nodt, and Rukia became squad 6 captain. I also wished more characters died through the series to make it more real and gritty. There was only risk and loss on Ichigo's end for like 90% of the plot. Momo should've died, Byakuya should've died, Hiyori should've died. sadly little Toshiro should've also died when Aizen cut him in Central 46, because that would've been horrific and made me believe Aizen was a monster. That would've made the plot more intense to me.
Bleach fans: What did you think about the Bleach ending?
Specifically this is about everything after the 10 year time skip, and includes the ending for all of the characters but especially the main characters (Ichigo, Uryu, Chad, Orihime, Rukia, and Renji). This is not just about ships, it’s about where the characters ended up. I want to know what people think about the ending as a whole.
Feel free to tell me what you like or don't like about it

In the matters of crossover...
Soul Society does not understand diplomacy. They are 'supreme', absolute, greedy control freaks, and 'holders of balance' or that crap. They lack rivals and others group to keep them in line.
Many group/organizations/goverments in other shows/animes/series/movies like the Wizard World (both other coutries and families), Vongola, Amestris or even Konoha and Asoiaf has 'other factions' that aren't enemies. They cannot simply do whatever thay please. Soul Society would never let another Spiritual Faction exist outside their control (even if are peaceful doing nothing bad), they would refuse to be 'allies', would demand the other faction to bow or betray them. If they ever 'ally' with an group of another anime/show, they would demand them to be subordinades to Seireitei, obey everything they say and be killed once their usefulness run out. Arrogant at the point of foolishness.
Many 'crossovers' would end up with Soul Society getting in so much trouble because they refuse to talk to solve problem and follow laws and respect the local rulers and leaders, wrongly believing they have authority and jurisdiction over everything and everyone.
The Moral Myopia also. No loyality, no trust, no partnership, nothing. No one would ever want to help them or ally with them, they would try to 'arrest/execute' someone they think is 'different', Ichigo should have noped out of here fast.
Fix-Its with most fandons has politics and talking involved, Bleach ones are about destroying Seireitei cuz Soul Society are a Butch of Motherfuckers.
See Game of Throne for exemple, you have to be careful with no only your enemies, but your allies and subordinades too. Two of Robb Stark's greatest fuck ups are Rickard Karstark (subordinade Lord) and Freys (allies), the Lannisters too (Selmy, the Faith and Tyrion), also which decisions you make and how they affect the other groups (Ned Stark's execution was a reckless foolish action and even Tywin knows it), its so fucking easy to switch sides, your enemies may be more sensible and willing to listen to ours wishes, don't you think so?
This whole 'we have an common enemy' and 'you will help us or else' would never work on many characters like it did on Ichigo and his friends.
No one is going to obey/ally with you if they get nothing in turn/are treated badly/you attempt to make them subordinades instead of allies or something similar. Their attitude towards the Vizards, Bounts, Humans in general or anyone powerful and outside their control tell us an lot. In an crossover, they would attempt to kidnap, interrogate, steal, experiment and murder innocent people with no reason whatsover or commit fucking genocide against societies they consider threats. They did nothing to deserve loyality, refusing to help those who sacrificed so much for them, declaring they own people traitors out of blue (Rukia, Hitsugaya in Diamond Rebellion, fucking Orihime when she got kidnapped) and threatening Ichigo and his friends's often. (Poor Uryu)
I also kinda love the idea where the Hero (an minor, a fucking kid) that has his whole life planned for him to involve himself in an secret world and fight wars that are not his, to put his friend and family in danger for an butch of ungratefull assholes and there is an crossover where said Hero meets people from another Fandom and when the plot starts, he looks the group that wants him to fight for them (and he knows them for like...an hour) dead in the eyes and is like 'lol, nope fuckers, #notmywar, I have better shit to do'.
Its also easier to deal with them. A centralized power that have charisma of lettuce juice (Rukongai would turn against them if given chance), the 'smallfolk' of Soul Society hate then and the Shinigami didn't even try to make some propaganda (like nobles in medieval era giving the rest of the food from feasts so when a rebellion hist, the people would be more willing to hid/help them). Horizontal leadership is more difficult to deal with, independant factions even more.
So yeah, villains like Konoha or Amestris would be far more diffucult to deal with

That anaversary aizen looks absolutely fabulous, he looks like a figure skater xd.
I heard along time ago the last arc of the anime was being animated finally bc they pulled a 90s sailor moon were the last season was not either animated or dubbed untill decades later.
I recall near the end of the current 366 episodes there was an episode were the creapy demon ppl woke up in hell and we're all bitter, and there was the other guy who was like, iM cOmEiNg FoR u IChIgO, but then is never mentioned again after and I'm like, why? Why is lt there just plopted randomly into a different arc that seams unrelated.
And locking aizen up underground seems ok, but It deff won't hold, and he will. Escape, and he will kill, you either need that one spell from star, dubbed, the darkest spell of moon the undaunted, a powerfull dark spell that killed immortal beings, that came from best character, eclipsa, the queen of darkness.
We need that.
Or stick him I'm crystal like eclipsa was in star. Is there no one who could trap him in ice or crystal for all eternity.
How about throw him into the centre of a volcano trapped and caged , forverr being killed by heat?
I assume there's space travel, send I'm into a black whole, were a black whole don't fuckin care if your immortal or fat, you will die
:3
Yes, I love anniversary Aizen. His original octopus-butterfly hollow design was ugly so I'm glad he's back to being the fashion icon he is.
Locking Aizen up underground once is one thing, doing it twice after saying he got more powerful by just sitting there, and he escaped to battle the Quincy Soul King God... is another. I think he should have escaped at the end of the Quincy arc. That is the only feasibility.
I heard the anime is coming back for the Quincy arc as well, but because of COVID its probably going to be delayed. (I'm not gonna watch it until the Rain section of the arc then I'm dipping out. I'm only here for Zangetsu)
and funny that you mention that hell scene in the manga :)
-> spoilers for the new BLEACH 73 page anniversary chapter / thoughts/critique on it
So hey you had a premonition! Syazel .... returned? And his hole is outside of his body??? for some reason???
(I didn't understand the explanation or why / how that happens and what that means for the hollow)
And my friend and I were laughing because out of ALL the things. Kubo could do in this anniversary. He gave Syazel his dick back after going to hell. That is iconic. (that's where his hole was located, and now that its not on his body ... well...) This is the funniest thing Kubo has EVER pulled. Kudos to you, sir.
The entire internet is freaking out over Ukitake being in hell. Honestly Kubo has done far worse, and we've established that Soul Society is a corrupt system that hasn't changed, so I'm not surprised he would pull something like this.
At the same time, Kubo 1. cheated his audience. 2. continues to prove me right that he cannot bring himself to kill his characters
1. Hollows who have commit murder in their human life are sent to hell. Syazel and Aaorniero are two of these hollows, and yet, when they are killed, there is NO gates of hell scene. We see them there later in the hell chapter (which was more of a promotion for the fourth movie and I didn't believe it would hold any merit)
But the same goes for Ukitake. We never see the gates of hell take him. What, was hell late? Did hell's gates get lost like an uber before picking him up? It's bull. Withholding such vital information from your audience, not showing the gates of hell when they should pick up this soul IMMEDIATELY is ... I mean its a lie. Kubo lied to his audience.
2. Now we are told powerful shinigami are sent to hell when they die. First of all that sounds like a security threat. Wouldn't shinigami want revenge for that? Or attempt to escape? Why would they still hold loyalty after being sent to a prison of eternal suffering?
Also "Yhwach and Aizen" were the only ones keeping Hell's gates closed is way too convenient and doesn't really make any sense. I feel like Aizen should have deliberately gone to hell to retrieve powerful shinigami / hollows for his army instead of keeping it /closed/.
This is definitely a Kubo-doesn't-know-what-he's-doing-and-is -making- stuff-up-as-he-goes, but it might have a pinch of merit because of previous plot lines.... but either way, there's some big plot holes here, but again, its Kubo, so I expected nothing less.
Again, he can't kill off his characters. He introduced zombification, he introduced immortality through the hougyoku, he has Orihime and Hachigen's reversal / rejection abilities. He brought back Luppi, friggen.... a character who's entire upper half of his body was incinerated. Like.... come on. No. He's dead, you can't bring him back like that. That's a cop out and just weird. You're taking away consequences and grief.
(Also Yamamoto and Unohana deserve to be in hell far over Ukitake, they've done some fcked up stuff in their pasts unlike him)
Also Kubo's favorite character is Mayuri, which.... you're allowed to have a favorite problematic character. But Keeping said character alive and bared from the consequences of abusing his daughter, murdering innocents, and experimenting on your own squad members? Nah. Nope. Kill him, Kubo. Kill this dude.
(his weird attachment to Mayuri is probably why he keeps bringing Syazel back, since Syazel is Mayuri 2.0, but Syazel is the bad guy who does face consequences for his actions while Mayuri is not)
~
Also, I'm certain Kazui and Orihime are going to be THRILLED that their precious husband/dad is going to hell when he dies :)
(I just... Rukia teased Ichigo about leaving Orihime at home. She teased him about having a house wife who he leaves all the chores to. Orihime had two panels. She checks on her son who promised he would be at home and sleep. Kazui fcking breaks his promise like it never mattered to him and JUMPS out the window after pretending to sleep in front of his mother. ... An 8 year old... alone... in the middle of the night.)
Orihime is abandoned. She is not invited to SS, she is not informed of what is going on, her son leaves her.... I...
Orihime is a side character. She doesn't matter anymore. She hasn't mattered for a long, long time.
A part of me is glad she had little screen time, since she tends to waste it, but another part of me is embroiled with rage.
I've even see people try to defend this. "Orihime and Ichigo can't be together ALL the time, that's an unhealthy relationship!" and I'm like guys... that's not the point. The point is Orihime is not part of Ichigo's other life. Any shinigami stuff from now on is none of her business. She's going to stay at home while Kazui and Ichigo go off and save the world. Ichigo is going to be fighting by Rukia and Renji while Orihime watches from the sidelines, or worse, doesn't even know what is going on with her husband and son. Orihime is going to be uninformed and abandoned, because she has not proven she is capable of fighting by their sides(go on, @ me. I will fight this. She's a failure.), and also because she prefers a human life over a dead one. Which is ironic, because she married a dead man. Ichigo is a shinigami, and he will be one forever. god forbid she ever meets his Zanpaktou. She would tremble in fear at the monsters her husband harbors in his soul, especially when she realizes they don't care about her and would rather see her dead. (Zangetsu would absolutely kill Orihime. Not sure about Kazui, but Orihime has not accepted Zangetsu, she does not like either of them, and the feeling is assuredly mutual.) frick now I want to make a comic about this
Also still frustrated over Zangetsu's shikai / bankai regression. Kubo once again lied to his audience. Ichigo has no bankai. How ridiculous is that? The main character of BLEACH doesn't have a bankai. Insulting.
(RIP to Chad. He doesn't exist anymore. He's just gone. No mention, no cameo. Gone.)
Kazui is a demon child. That character from the novels? Hikone? They're the same character. Literally same personality, same power level. Its worse because Kazui is a liar. He constantly goes behind his parents' backs. He can summon creepy fish and creepy eyeballs and open portals like is ANYONE aware of this? How has SS not kidnapped Ichigo's son and experimented on him / locked away his powers yet? All substitute shinigami require a reiatsu controlling / spy badge to keep them in line. Where is Kazui's? Or is he just a weird fullbringer?
I was worried Kubo was gonna try and pull a knock off Boruto but luckily he kept the focus on Ichigo and the others. But that being said, Ichika and Kazui are now just... sort of there? Kazui was kinda just.... having his own adventure that doesn't matter to the plot at hand, and Ichika had some nice characterization at first but she just hid behind her dad the whole time.
I have a feeling Kazui is gonna step in at the last minute or do some major behind the scenes thing that indirectly interferes with the main plot so no one will realize how powerful and dangerous he actually is. Its sad because Ichika is the superior character in personality and likability, but she clearly is not going to have a bigger part in this.
Ichigo having a normal life after everything still feels extremely boring and uncomfortable to me. Everyone's like 'I'm still bLEACH!" but.... BLEACH just... doesn't feel like BLEACH anymore. It hasn't for a while now.
~~~
There's two new shinigami characters. Didn't care for the girl, but the Sign Language kid who talks to animals is adorable ... however... he just reminds me of Chad, and I just... it hurts knowing Chad has essentially been deleted. Chad and Orihime are officially benched. They have chosen the human world, and Orihime has given Ichigo his spawn so she has no more use/purpose to him anymore... ////sigh
~~~
Also. This is claimed to be a new "arc". So is the BLEACH manga coming back? What is happening. I thought Kubo was tired and didn't want to do BLEACH anymore. I thought Shounen Jump cut him off. People made so many excuses for Kubo and why the past two arcs have been so badly written the past 6 years and now almost everything they've attempted to defend him with has been revoked.
BLEACH is going to continue to screw up its plot lines and characters, so Its probably best for it to stay dead but I've seen a lot of Kubo stans drooling over this content, they're desperate for BLEACH's return, but its already given out all its possible revelations. There's really nothing else to top here. It's just going to make things up as it goes along ,and I'm not really here for half-assed writing like that, especially since the damage of rushing the previous manga has already been done. Kubo and Shounen Jump are riding off a money nostalgia. None of this was planned.
Honestly though.... overall feeling of this chapter, not as bad as it could have been.
Syazel stole the spotlight, and he's my friend's favorite character, so that's all that really matters.
#bleach#bleach spoilers#spoilers#text post#anti bleach 686#anti ichihime#ask#tite kubo#technically anti renruki too but#ichihime destroys the plot more than renruki#renruki feels like an after thought#they're only together for kazui and ichika's existence#but if these two are lacking in use if BLEACH were to continue then why have them at all#even tho ive tagged this as anti ichihime#interestingly enough there is no ichihime interaction or really mention at all in this chapter

You just got your first ask Cookie????
I know those are super fun! So I'm sending you another one ;)
Uhhh a question I always liked answering:
Tell us the character you
Simp for
Just kinda like
Hate like most people do
Hate even though most people like 'em
And why!
If I missed a category you think I should add feel free to add it :)
- ♥️ Lefty
I had to think about some of these for a minute, but here's my list.
1. Simp for:
Jimmy Bae - Weak Hero
I could seriously have listed a whole slew of characters but I ultimately decided on Jimmy because I just love his character. There's definitely more depth to him than just being the typical hot headed bully, and I wish more people would see that. And I mean there's a reason my Jimmy fic (on Wattpad) is turning into a damn novel, because I just can't stop myself from writing about him. Plus I have a thing for redheads. What can I say, I like what I like, ya know. 🤷♀️
2. Just Kinda Like:
Mikey - Tokyo Revengers
I know this could be an unpopular opinion but Mikey is just a there character for me. I don't hate him, but I also don't love him. He's just kinda there. I find more enjoyment from watching the other characters like Draken, Mitsuya, or Chifuyu. Even Takemichi is more fun to watch than Mikey, and Tekemichi annoys me half of the time he's on screen. I've only watched the anime, so maybe I'm missing something that didn't transfer over?
3. Hate Like Most People Do:
Shou Tucker - Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
I hate this guy more than I hate Bryce Oh, because at least Bryce didn't hurt his own family. And a child that depended on him at that. And if his name isn't ringing any bells, then maybe this picture will. Cuz I can't even bring myself to actually write about what he did to his own family.
He's a total trash person. Period.
4. Hate Even Though Most People Like 'Em
Orihime Inoue - Bleach
Honest, I can't stand her. She's super freaking annoying, and if I was Ichigo I would have told her to stop shouting his name all the damn time. Now I can give that her ability was useful and could be strong, but it was only ever used to heal others. I think she is just portrayed as too much of a damsel in distress character for my liking, and it just irritates me to no end. Plus. I am team Rukia. (I don't care about Renji's feelings. Renji Does Not Deserve Rukia 😤)
And I'll add one more for fun...
5. Just Simply Love
Shiro - Deadman Wonderland
I love Shiro and I just want to give her the whole world. First she's super freaking badass, and second she's such a strong character to have survived what she went through and to still be able to possess love for someone is amazing. Even if it's a warped crazy kind of love lol.
#Thanks for the ask Lefty!!#Ask#Jimmy Bae will always be my number 1#It is what it is#about characters#anime#manga#webtoons

I also wanted to talk about a little about the other video they presented today:
Once again they started with Ichigo and Rukia. I truly feel happy whenever Rukia is on the spotlight and she's in the right where the MCs should be, at the beginning and front of everything!
Here we have the Ichigo vs. Grimmjow fight feat. TYBW's Gotei 13 and... RUKIA AGAIN! Yes!
Aaaand another colored Ichigo. I miss Ku/bo's art style from back then tbh I always liked how he used to make Ichigo's hair look like fire.
Main character's and moments(?) during the last arc. URYUU IS THERE!!!
The two head captains and Squad 0, it's a shame they were all over hyped only to not be that useful in the end. Nimaiya and what's-her-name only served to somewhat explain how the shinigami accessories/tools work, the onsen guy had to heal Byakuya, Renji, Rukia and Ichigo because apparently I-can-kill-you-but-heal-you-so-fast-you-come-back-to-life-Unohana-Retsu couldn't fully do it and it's not like any of Ichigo's friends had any healing abilities-- OH, wait. Yeah. Hikifune is just the transforming beauty because each arc needs its own (Yoruichi, Nelliel anyone?) aaaand I don't even care about Ichibei anymore. He was supposed to be broken and yet he was defeated almost as fast as Yamamoto just to be revived by the "power of the words" or some shit like that. What if Ichigo and co. never arrived at the Royal Palace? Would he have stayed dead then?
Byakuya's death... Which didn't happen in the end because according to Ku/bo he was pressured through twitter to not kill him? Just another fucking excuse. I freaking love Byakuya but his words toward Ichigo felt hollow after he was brought back.
Ukitake... Yeah, remember when we were told Ukitake wasn't going to die? And then he died for a stupid reason, like, he had the hand of God inside him and yet most of the time he was still sick and could only fight for a while. If he had some stupid over the top power because he had God's hand in him it would've somewhat make sense OR if he couldn't really fight because being its vessel was too much for him to shoulder, but no. Just release God's hand and never explain what happened to the OTHER hand or limbs at all and may Ukitake rest in peace.
OH and that Aizen panel from the final fight which wasn't even a fight!!! Priceless, Chair-sama saved the day.
Aaaand at last!!! The stuff that will carry and sell this whole circus of insanity, yandere Unohana, Urahara's infinite list of plans and plots and traps and blahblahblah... Kenpachi's bankai, Toushiro's special fanservice feature now 18+, double serving of fanservice with Rukia's astonishing and beautiful bankai and Renji's we-tricked-you-because-you're-an-idiot-so-here's-your-true-bankai form. Mayuri isn't worth mentioning.
Aaaand the cherry on top!!! Ichigo wielding Zangetsu's old form which was actually a fake Zangetsu but this is formed with the true Zangetsu which broke for this scene, which is also separated in two swords but they merged again and weren't Ukitake and Kyouraku the only shinigami in history to ever have double zanpakutō? What happened to that? Oh yes, Kyouraku had Nanao's. And Ukitake is dead. Okay. Yeah. Makes sense. NOT.
Sigh... The difference between this video and the other is that the other one was able to spark some joy and ignite the leftover love I have for Bleach because it showed panels back from when things made sense and it was awesome. These panels... some of them could be exciting by themselves but they mostly served to remind me why I ended up hating Ku/bo and what Ble/ach became. It's chaos. It's disorganized. Things are there just for the sake of hyping but not to contribute to the story itself. It makes me as sad as I am mad.
The only positive things I get from here is that as usual Rukia is treated as the main character and heroine she is, she's right at the front, she's with the characters that carried the series long enough for it to go for as long as it did and she will always be one of the best female characters in shonen history. Then I have the fact that I too love Ichigo and he deserves to be regarded as a hero, even though Ku/bo decided to throw that away for him in the end. Flaws and all Ichigo IS a hero and I guess I am weak too and I can at least feel happy that he's back in the spotlight again, although if it were up to me I'd never animate this arc so that his fans could remember him with pride. I would save him if I could.
The other positive thing I get is... I'm a mean person and I have no qualms in admitting it, so there's a part of me that is delighted by the fact that someone was purposely left out of these announcements. It's good to know the marketing team still knows what sells and well, I won't say I feel bad for her fans because I don't. It's what she and they deserve and shitty ending or not, it's clear they're not getting the recognition they've been craving all these years.
So Ble/ach is back to torment us and I just want to wish us all good luck and a not so bad ride through all of this. Stay strong my people, we've already survived the worse of it, this is just a motivating shitty flashback before finally stabbing this bastard in the heart once and for all.
#anti bleach anime#anti-bleach anime#anti tite kubo#anti-tite kubo#stay strong guys#this is not enough to put us down#and now we'll have a string of new content so that's a plus#Ichigo and Rukia are back with us now in fanart form#love y'all

I honestly don't like Bakugo and don't understand why he is popular when he is an absolute bully in so many ways. He literally beat up Deku for getting into the same school as him.. who freaking does that? And he told him to go kill himself. basically lets everyone know he is above them, he hasn't apologized for anything he has done to Deku at all and he is somehow so liked, even loved. He reminds me of Ichigo in some ways from Bleach but he will never be as kind as him deep down, he is just bad
Same?? Bakugo’s supposed development is honestly so bad, I don’t even know where to start.
Long rant
I had very little issues with Bakugo in the first two seasons. Granted, he was a total dick in the first season but you could tell he was learning from his setbacks and adapting. He wasn’t obnoxiously arrogant and conceited to an astounding degree anymore, he was learning, which was mostly evident in the Sports Festival. True, he was still somewhat unlikable but he was getting better.
The moment the kacchan vs deku part 2 fight rolled around, his development began regressing in my opinion. He seemingly turned nicer for a bit after the fight, by giving Deku pointers on how to improve his fighting style and kind of encouraging him to become stronger as All Might’s successor but that was it. After that he became downright pissy whenever Deku progressed. He was gleaming with satisfaction when Aizawa announced that the class mightn’t be allowed to have internships, simply because if Bakugo couldn’t go, then no one should. When Deku would talk about his internship experience, he would cover his ears and yell “stop talking about how he’s ahead of me!”, you know, like a literal toddler, and he’d shout at Kirishima to tell him what he’s been doing on the field. Kirishima’s status as Bakugo’s nanny is literally the reason why I’ve lost a bit of respect for him as well. But that’s another story.
I never understood the idea behind why All Might told Bakugo the origins of One for All, because as far as I’m concerned, he didn’t need to know. Bakugo decided he’d kept the secret to himself back then, but in the recent chapters he says that All Might and Deku were the ones to force him to keep the secret and that he should be allowed to be present any time they talk about Deku’s Quirk. What the hell? (And even when they do tell him what’s up, he’s just mocking Deku as usual.)
Not to mention that him failing the License Exam wasn’t because of the aftermath of the Kamino Incident, as All Might says it was, it was simply because Bakugo is a shit person who doesn’t care about saving people. If it was meant to be portrait as if Bakugo was going through some stuff emotionally and that sabotaged his chances of retaining his points, it should’ve been executed better because I couldn’t tell the difference between that and how Bakugo normally behaves.
All he’s done, from the introduction of the Big Three to the most recent chapters, is scream and be unpleasant. I cannot imagine why anyone would want to be around him when he respects no one. There was this tiny panel once where Bakugo smiled to himself because Deku said a wrong answer to a math equation and all i could think was “what a literal loser.”
If Bakugo ever realized how shitty he is when he’s surrounded by nothing but kind and decent people and learn from them like any common person would, I’d honest to God respect him a lot. As it is, his character development fluctuates and it’s so tiring to see, especially when it sounds like Horikoshi can’t even remember certain conversations properly. Seeing Bakugo being voted the most popular character in the latest poll just adds to the frustration, when Mirio is right here and deserving of the title.
So yeah, Bakugo is an ass and his popularity astounds me.

Have you ever pity on Orihime. She suffer many things and being kidnapped and mentally tortured by Ulquiorra. I don't believe he reach her for search ''heart'', he may wanted to manipulated her since she suffer a heavy stockholm syndrome. I repeat again, that's not love ! A love between kidnapper and victim is not okay. Ulquiorra is manipulative bastard who love torture orihime and purely evil ! She deserve ichigo at all, not ulquiorra!!! DON'T SHIP INNOCENT GIRL WITH A FREAKING UGLY DEMON !!!!!
I could care less about Orihime and having pitying on her. She allowed herself to be kidnapped. If she was so scared, she could have told someone or left a clue that she was approached by Ulquiorra...so no I don’t feel sorry for her. And reaching out to him and she supposingly being in love with Ichigo is a test to her true character.

The only tsundere couple I like. Purely slapstick, clearly comedy, misunderstandings for the funnies. Not too much drama-baiting to confuse the tone and make the slapstick feel like abuse for no reason, just to appeal to the masochists.
TL;DR:
Akane and Ranma are the only couple I've seen do tsundere right. Firmly rooted in slapstick, the guy deserved it whenever he got smacked, Akane's anger was justifiably understandable each time, their fights were clearly for comedy more than drama,... The following decade of "tsundere couple" imitators was just painful abuse to watch. Those series should have labeled themselves for the masochists and left the the general romcom audiences out of it.
What makes you think I want to see nice guys get hit and yelled at for no reason? Am I seriously expected to sympathize with a love interest that does that repeatedly for no reason to a person?
To long; don't read version:
The following decade after Ranma and Akane, too many series tried to replicate the tsundere couple and it just felt emotionally/physically abusive. At least with Ranma/Akane, the series was firmly rooted in slapstick, it reminded you at every moment that this series was ridiculous, Akane only hit/yelled at Ranma only when he was being an absolute jerk, and Ranma was believably being an absolute jerk in those moments. None of this post-Ranma/Akane stuff where the guy is sweet and passive then constantly getting beat up and scolded by the supposed love interest for no reason. I can't figure out if Tenchi or Keitaro made it popular, but it felt like they were doing bad renditions of Ranma/Akane. You can't do tsundere slapstick when the guy doesn't deserve it!!!
Little did we know at the time that romcom anime were just gradually tapping into the masochist audience out there. Maybe those guys got off on unjust abuse, and it's fine if a series like M&M overtly advertises itself as such, but don't muddy the whole genre for general audiences, trying to pass off a masochist series as "general romcom".
That's part of why I got sick of the whole "harem genre". Too many toxic relationships trying to pass off as "romantic". If you want to have an S&M couple, go for it, but don't bait people into thinking it's just a general romcom couple dynamic. If a member of the couple is going to be constantly beat up and scolded for no reason, all the freaking time, it better be a ridiculous slapstick without so many dramatic moments telling you to take their relationship seriously, and the person being slapped better deserve it. Otherwise, label it for the masochists and keep it away from me. I want to read healthy relationships (unless I'm specifically looking for angst in moment).
I know someone's going to say, "Watch/Read ToraDora", but I really don't want to. I'm so done with tsundere by now. If it's not Akane or Arthur Kirkland, who managed to endear themselves to me early, I'm just tsundere'ed-out. x_x
Sometimes I wonder if IchiRuki counts as tsundere, but Rukia can turn on a dime to speak openly about vulnerable emotions. Especially to comfort someone else. That's what makes her cool. She doesn't put on an abrasive front to hide that. A tsundere would hide that. And maybe Ichigo kind of fills that definition sometimes. But Rukia s just serious and stern. But boy! Did the anime-only-written episodes sure try to turn Rukia into a tsundere, just because that archetype was the most popular waifu at the time! Ugh...I hated that trend. x_x;;;;
