The anarchist was perched somewhere they most certainly should not have been, eyes radiating garnet and barely-concealed malicious delight. Their face was partially concealed in shadow, and contrary to the red get-up of Anarky, Vox Populi, they were instead dressed in loose violets and indigos. There were flecks of dried crimson in their hair, which fell haphazardly over their shoulders. They were cleaning their fingernails of something.

"Good evening, doctor. How's your research coming along?"

Victor jerks his head up, eyes tracking through the icefog and landing on… someone. They seem familiar to him in a distant, cloudy way, the vision of someone he may have seen on the news or had a run-in with since his revival several long years ago.

There is blood in their hair and on their hands. The glacial pace of his heart, so slow he often forgets it does still beat, quickens. None of his weaponry is in reach, and his suit is partially disassembled in front of him. He must speak.

“It is as it always is,” he says flatly. His face is impassive stone. “What use do you have asking after it?”
