Muse: Nao

Open to: Demons or other muses of that sort

Plot: Nao had been given to your muse as a sacrifice, but instead of begging to be let go like one might expect, they straight up tell your muse to just kill them.

"If you're going to kill me, just do it now." After all, they've seen, experienced, and felt first-hand, death would be a blessing in disguise. Even if Nao tried to fight, tried to find a way to escape, they couldn't erase their memories and all that had happened. They didn't care anymore. "What are you waiting for?"

If it wasn't clear enough already, Nao liked hot showers (though the first time they took a shower in Woojin's home they scrubbed their skin so hard and the water was so hot that it started irritating it on top of that, but it was only that one time!). It was a good thing that they wouldn't have to worry about Woojin having a different preference. "I don't know. You are hot, I thought you might like to get cooled down sometimes." Those words were said without much thought, but soon Nao realized what it might sound like, so they quickly tried to elaborate, slightly stammering on their words. "I meant, you are warm to the touch. Though I guess your kind are used to it."

They really should shut up before they make things worse, shouldn't they? Yeah. Hopefully the other would let this slip. Hopefully. Gods, they were so embarrassing. Without further protest, Nao stepped under the water. But they still couldn't relax simply because of how stupid they felt. At this point, they could tattoo the word on their forehead (actually, not really, that would be even more stupid and embarrassing).

By the time Nao finally joined him, Woojin had the water set to the right temperature. He looked over his shoulder as the curtain closed to apologize for the heat, then laughed as Nao spoke. The air around them was beginning to fill with steam, indicating that they were on the same page. "Dragons love heat. Hot water included."

Woojin stepped back under the spray. He tilted his head and sighed, the sound full of satisfaction. The water was just shy of burning, just how he liked it. It relaxed his muscles and warmed his skin perfectly. Lifting his head, Woojin looked down at Nao with a smirk. "Your turn. Go on." He stepped closer to them and moved around, not bothering to avoid touching their skin. There was no need for such a thing.

"I told you to get out of my way, I don't have time for this!" They rolled their eyes. The other was starting to get on their nerves. What did they even know?! Nothing! Were they simply trying to pick a fight. Because if so, Nao would show them no mercy.

"You've got a point." Given how some people decided to go down the path of crushing others beneath them so they could climb the social status ladder (a rather pointless thing to do since a human's life was so short one would think they'd strive to live a happy life than being in a constant marathon towards the finish line), anything was better than that. "It's not that bad, you could just go back to sleep after, right? Or do you need an extra potion from the guardian of dreams to sleep?" Nao was the one to talk! If they slept, they were such a light sleeper even the smallest disturbance in their proximity was enough to have them up on their feet. "That's not my forte, my job is only to walk the deceased souls through the afterlife and in a way advocate for them in front of the judges."

"Certainly not the worst idea in the world." He had to admit, although he was still deadset on adopting both a cat and a dog, though the temptation to add a few more to the mix was there too. Then again, that was if he reached retirement age and he wasn't exactly betting on it. It was a nice thought though. "Well, it's noticeably less exciting when you're woken up at three in the morning by two moggies screeching at each other in the street below your window." Though he couldn't quite stop himself from laughing a little at that, not needing to imagine it since it had happened a good few times, being awoken by the high-pitched screams of annoyed cats at who knows what time in the morning when he'd finally managed to drift off to sleep. The funniest part was hearing elderly Italian locals leaning out of their windows and yelling at the cats to be quiet. Surprisingly, it usually worked. Or someone would go separate them with a broom in hand. "You said it... can't say I disagree, mind. Guessing people's skills aren't at the top of the list when it comes to angel school these days?"

"That freaky dude really wanted to make sure people don't get out of here, huh?" Maybe it would be rather weird for Nao to think this, but it was rather unfortunate that they didn't end up in a trap made and planned by John Kramer, the person who actually started this whole insanity. But in a way made sense. Because given what they already knew that Kramer guy at least gave the players some chance of survival; and Nao has already been through hell, they were pretty confident they had it in them to follow a few instructions, be it very fucked up ones, as long as they knew that they could actually get out of there alive. But what Nao saw back there would have been basically their coffin, a useless cause, if Noah didn't show up. "Okay, I'll try." And hopefully luck would be on their side, because both of them needed it now.

“Well, I know how to get out of here. The problem is making sure we don’t end up in any surprise traps,” Noah admitted with a sigh. Hoffman wasn’t going to just have one trap and leave the rest up to fate. He didn’t want them to win, he didn’t play by the rules that John had set up. The rules had always been clear but that didn’t mean much at this point. Noah watched, took part when he needed to. But he knew that this was all bullshit. “Just be careful where you step,” he added, which he knew that due to the lighting of the building would be difficult. But he’d really rather not have his knees broken while trying to go up the stairs. Then he wouldn’t be of much help.

@kisumshi: Like every year, it's always hard to top the gift Nao got him for his birthday. Nao's gifts were always more thoughtful, with heart behind it. Natsuya's tended to gravitate towards experience or practicality more. After a breakfast of American style pancakes cooked by yours truly, Natsuya offers Nao an envelope and a small box. "Happy birthday." Inside the envelope were two tickets to an aquarium date and inside the box was a sleek, black band, with something that looks like a small buzzer attached to it. Sheepishly, Natsuya shows his own wrist where resides an identical band along with the bracelet Nao had gotten him. "It has a vibration setting on it, every time one of us thinks about the other, it'll vibrate, so we can always be connected, even if we're far away."

With only a week separating their birthdays, it was a little special when they'd gift each other things on their birthdays. Call it a bit of a competition as well, but Nao rather liked seeing just how Natsuya would plan to gift him something that might could beat him out. If anything, the amusing collection of odd stuffed animals he kept by his desk meant a lot to him, but this year it seems to be a little different.

After all they (meaning Natsuya) finally acknowledged their long time feelings for each other. Nao picked something practical, a reminder, a memento that even though he can't be in the waters with him anymore, he's still there with him no matter where in the world he chose to be and will always wait for him.

That's to say, he didn't expect this sort of gift from his lover.

The aquarium tickets were very nice, however it was the bracelet that threatened to snatch his heart away. Nao sat unmoving for a moment, before laughing sheepishly at his being shy; however he couldn't help his own growing blush, unbothered by it while he puts Natsuya's gift over his matching bracelet. His finger circles over the buzzer giving it a tap and hearing Natsuya's wrist buzz.

"This is... thank you Natsuya. I hope you won't be bothered by how many times a day I'll tap this."

Cause boy, does Nao miss him a lot when he's not home. Gracefully, He leans over the small table to lay a gentle peck on the other's cheek.

"They're lovely gifts. Thank you."

"Still... corpses and frost? That shit's almost poetic... if we ever teamed up, we could call ourselves rigor mortis~"

"You have a very charming sense of humor, don't you? I can see it in your eyes, though... if this was a real fight, you would be ready to kill." Basile smiled, leaning on his staff a bit. "Psychic abilities always interested me, you know... how mortal humans could push past their own minds' limitations. It's fascinating." Smile growing, he readies himself.

"Perhaps after we are done here, my next endeavor will be a study of the psychic mind~"
