CHAPTER 1: HELL

Mix laid in his bed as he groaned when he heard his alarm beeping loudly, He sat up as his Mom came in the room with her uniform on while looking at Mix, “Honey! Get your butt up, get dressed, we leave in ten minutes!” And she quickly left. Mix sighed as he got out of bed as he quickly put on his outfit as he grabbed his heart shaped glasses and black back with a white rose pin on it, and quickly left. “Would you like me to drive you? Or would you like to go on your motorcycle and show off in front of your new school?” Mix just grinned as a small white hair kid came running in, her name was Clovis, weird kid, adopted, yellow eyes, olive skin. Mix ruffled Clovis’s hair as she smiled at him, her hair poofing. “Alright Clovis the babysitter should be here soon, call me if no one shows up, something goes wrong, any of the sorts we talked about” Clovis was extremely book smart and smart in general. Clovis nodded, “Yes ma’am!” Mix pulled Clovis in a hug as he hummed happily, then left the door.

Mix had pulled into the School parking lot as he felt a lot of eyes on him. Staring.. Hm.. Guess he should put on an act and manipulate the whole school? That sounded fun. Mix got off as he took his motorcycle keys as helmet as he then walked inside. Mix walked towards where his locker is while looking at his Schedule. Locker 309. And he was supposed to have a guide or something. Honestly this school looked pretty shitty in so many ways. The people look and act crappy, What a wonderful school this is going to me. But he had to trust his mom and try his best. Soon he noticed a tall guy walking towards him, brown hair, partly dark skin but a bit lighter, blue eyes, school jacket. He had a shirt that was blue with white stripes, Mix eyes twitched as he forced a smile. “You must be new here right? Mix Crystal?” Mix nodded sweetly, “Yup, moved here recently and now i go here” Mix hummed, ‘obviously..or else I wouldn't be here..’ Mix thought to himself, but he had to keep up with this fake sona he made up, too late to go back now. The boy hummed as he nodded as he took out his hand out to Mix, “My name is Barry Price, the school king” Mix felt like he wanted to just leave, but he took barry’s hand as he smiled more, “Nice to meet you Barry”

Barry showed Mix around the school, apparently he had been his guide, what luck, messing with the school king. Like being here and being stared at wasn’t enough. “You know, you’re kinda off..” Mix blinked, “What do you mean?” Barry shrugged, “Something about you is weird..” he turned towards him, Mix raised a brow. “I mean i think i'm just being myself at this point” He smiled sheepishly, Barry smiled a bit, “You’ll get along well with Isaac” Mix blinked as he stared at him as he just shrugged it off and continued with the tour.

“And there is your first hour class, Math” Mix groaned. Barry just chuckled, “If it helps, We have the same class period” Barry opened the Math door as he placed his hand on Mix’s back as he pushed him towards the door into the classroom. The Teacher stopped his talking as he looked at Mix and Barry, “Ah, i was wondering when you guys will join, i was worried that i wouldn’t be able to meet him until later” He smiled sweetly, “Well my name is Mr. Ice, glad to finally meet you Mr. Crystal” He held out his hand to shake his, and Mix took as he smiled at him, “You too” Mr. Ice hummed, “You two sit down, Mix you will sit right behind Felix, the one that has the spiked up hair and leather jacket” A boy raised his hand looking at Mix. Mix nodded, as he walked over towards the desk, he glanced back as he saw Barry sit next to a guy that had glasses and brown hair with a red shirt. He sat in the chair as he stared at the guy in front of him. Felix huh… interesting.

The bell soon rang about 12 minutes later, Everyone packed up as Barry came over to Mix and smiled, “I’ll show you to the next class..” He paused as he watched Felix walk out the door who was smirking at them both, mostly Mix at this point as he left the door. Barry and Mix told Mr. Ice bye as they walked out of the door, “So are you thinking about any Clubs you want to join?” Barry looked at Mix, Mix put his hand on his chin as he thought for a minute then replying “Hm.. maybe Gymnastic, Gardening, or Drama club” Barry nodded, “Those are great choices, but, why Gymnastic?” Barry asked as he raised a brow, “Oh, i'm very flexible” Mix smiled, “Makes sense, anyways we have Science next, we have three classes together, Math and Gym, You have History next, so I’ll take you there then I’ll leave” Mix nodded as they continued to talk, soon noticing a small brown hair kid walk past them, then sticking his tongue out at barry then speeding off. Mix blinked, very confused as he looked at Barry who scowled, “he’s a shit head.” Mix couldn’t really care, he just wanted to get through the school life without any weirdness or drama. Barry went towards the history class as he hummed, “Good luck” then Barry walked away leaving Mix alone.

This is great, he hummed happily as he walked inside the classroom, the Teacher walked over to him, a girl teacher this time, she was old, but very sweet “Hello, you must be Mix Crystal, I’m Mrs Yang. How are you enjoying your first day of school?” She smiled sweetly, at him, just like Mr. Ice. Mix shrugged, “Good i guess” Miss Yang then asked, “Did you make any friends yet? I can ask someone to sit with you or I can place you with someone in my classroom if anyone has a free seat by them” Mix bit his lip, feeling awkward at this point, this was embarrassing.

“I think i’ll be fine-” Mrs Yang hummed as she cut him off “I’ll ask Drew and Nevin, they are such sweet kids, Nevin, Drew?” Two teenagers looked up from their phones and at Mrs Yang, One short and one small, One had dark brown hair as the other had black hair. “Would you two be a dear and let Mix sit with you?” you can’t really get upset with Mrs Yang, she was really sweet, she treated all of her students like this, but every high school student loved her. The black hair kid spoke, “yeah sure” as he patted a seat right next to him. Mix’s face was red in embarrassment, “You’ll get used to it, she does this to everyone” the smaller boy paused as he looked at Mix, “I remember you, you're that kid that was walking with Barry” He pointed at him. “Oh uh..yeah, I guess so..” He glanced away not knowing what to say, the smaller boy crossed his arms as he spoke again, “Names drew and this is Nevin” Nevin waved. “I’m Mix Crystal or just call me Mix” Drew hummed, “Nice to meet you i guess”

The class began as Mix saw a familiar face, Felix.. He leaned his chin into his hand as he watched Felix sit down next to someone, he didn’t notice he was staring at him. Drew poked Mix, “hey, batter in the Mixing bowl, wake up” Mix looked at Drew, “please never say that again..” Drew rolled his eyes, “you better not be crushing on that Wolfe guy.” Drew scrunched up his face, Mix frowned, “I’m now, i just sit next to him or well sit behind him in Math” Drew facepalms, “I feel bad for you kid” Nevin hummed, “Yeah that's bad luck” Mix raised a brow, “How come?” Drew glanced at Felix then to Mix, “He blew up part of the school, how come he isn't in jail? Someone bailed him out” Mix was basically laughing on the inside, wow, that's something that he did not need to know or hear. “Right..”

Bell rang as he walked out of the classroom, “Hey” Mix turned around and- oh. It was felix. Felix placed a hand on his shoulder as he smiled at him, “Can I see your schedule?” Mix handed his schedule, he really wanted to hit him. Felix glanced at his schedule, his smile turning into a smirk. “Looks like we all have the same class together” Mix glanced around if nobody was watching or any cameras, none. He was about to swing a punch but Barry came in and dragged Mix away.

“Sorry for being late” Barry glanced at Felix as he snatched Mix’s schedule back. they both glared at each other and scowled, they looked like hungry animals out for blood.

“Let's get you out of here Mix..” Barry said while placing his hand on Mix’s back. Mix glanced at his hand, which had a sticky note on it and had words written on it.

ta-da! the new chapter is complete! today on ibvs, lots of characters, lots of little shenanigans.

strangely, in a story with a school setting, I feel like this chapter is somehow the most aware of it being a school setting the story has ever been, considering this is somehow the first time we've ever met the principal even if only for a tiny bit.

IBVS Headcanon Dump!

A bunch of personal IBVS headcanons I have that I kinda want to incorporate into Supernatural Shenanigans. Some of these are inspired by IBVS canon, others by UTMV, and the rest are original. Enjoy!

Drew absolutely cannot cook to save his life. However, he’s really good at baking. So good that Grandma Jovel says that other people’s mothers have paid him real cash to make baked good for school bake sales in the past.

Nevin is unsure if this is true.

This isn’t really that surprising, but Nevin is a huge MCR fan. He was a very happy emo when he found out about the MCR reunion.

He even hugged everyone in the Supernatural Club.

And Nevin’s hugs can be pretty lethal if he gets too excited.

“THEY’RE GETTING BACK TOGETHER OH MY FUCKING GOD-”

“Nevin, stop! Error’s face is turning blue!”

“Isaac...Chris...help...”

Chris knows a lot about fancy cars for some reason. 

Nobody knows why.

That is, nobody except Charlie.

When Isaac speaks French, he is either very pissed or scared for his life.

Nevin absolutely loves cats. If he sees a stray cat on the street, everything is put on hold until he’s finished petting it or Drew or whoever is with him at that moment drags him away, whichever comes first.

“Oh my god, what an adorable little kitty!” 

“Come on, Nev, we’re going to be late for school!”

Edward is a secret telenovela fan.

Due to their emotion-sensing powers, it is nearly impossible to sneak up and surprise the Jovel twins without them knowing that you’re there.

They like using this to their advantage to scare people.

“Did you need something, Chris?”

“Holy mother of-”

Drew and Nevin have dressed up like each other a couple times at their previous schools.

Isaac’s lunches always consist of sandwiches made of the grossest and weirdest food combos ever.

“What did you bring for lunch, Isaac?”

“Nothing fancy. Just a Nutella and spicy hummus sandwich.”

“Eww, would it kill you to bring a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for once?”

Chris’s appetite increases whenever he’s stressed about something, such as a big test or an important event.

Drew is oddly fascinated with shiny things.

Edward sings trashy pop songs in the shower.

Drew is the proud owner of several KH OCs.

If you steal Chris’s food, boy, you better start running.

Drew is the cinnamon roll of the Supernatural Club, but he won’t let anyone make fun of his brother.

WEHEHELL YOU SEE-

IBVS means Isaac Beamer Versus The Supernatural. Created by @onebizarrekai on tumblr, it was originally meant to be a comedy-treated-seriously, Undertale Au story, with human versions of the characters. A large majority of the case were based off of sans aus.

However, this fic, now in its second installment, developed into an original work, characters branching into becoming their own people.

The plot of the story goes like this;

'Isaac earned his nickname–Ink–from looking like your run-of-the-mill shut-in artist at school. He had no friends, he spent all of his time in the art room, and no one really knew that much about him. But little do they know, he has an unbelievable secret. He has the power to make his drawings come to life!

All had been going well for him, until suddenly, Edward, aka Error–the most popular boy in school–revealed the fact that he also has unique powers and refuses to leave Isaac alone, making his life significantly harder. People and problems have only continued to show up since, and that combined with them being aggressive high schoolers who have no idea how to socially function, it’s a recipe for disaster.'

It currently has twenty-five chapters in the first installment, word count of 101709, and the second installment with eight chapters, word count 62459. It's an interesting read, especially with just how real the characters seem. Sometimes you forget they are characters with just how life-like they're written.

There's lots of comedy, supernatural elements, weird crack shenanigans, and even mystery, especially with the origins and such of powers in general.

A real good read! Totally recommend it!

do you think sk8 the infinity could be meshed with ibvs somehow?

ANON, YOU HAVE BIG BRAIN (much credit to @sweet-curried-powder for the brilliant ideas featured) In simple explanation, the concept is to have either IBVS characters p much in the Sk8 universe, following a similar storyline and p much just placing in characters as another role (no powers, Ed introduces Isaac to S like Reki did to Langa, etc) or Sk8 in IBVS, such as Reki has fire powers, meets Langa and others and finds out they have powers too, and have to face similar supernatural shenanigans like the IBVS gang However, you could also do something where they skate, but have powers that they can use to their advantage during a beef (like a power-up or special move  smthn? idk) Hope this gives a rough idea of some potential ways you could mesh IBVS and Sk8, may it inspire ya’ll one way or another

It all started in fall.

It was official, Cody and Edward were going out. 

It came as a surprise to everybody since Edward always denied the fact that he was nothing but straight.

The day that they started dating was the day that nevin and isaac decided to join forces and accidentally start having feelings for eachother. 

Drew was happy for his brother he truly was but the fact that their whole relationship started just because of their collective hate for edward was slightly concerning

While we can see nevin and isaac being a happy couple in the distance Cody couldn’t help but feel slightly doubtful of his relationship with Edward. He always knew Edward had a habit of being demanding but Cody always looked up to Edward and was his best friend after barry.

The first few days of them dating was nothing less than perfect. Rumours spread like wildfire. Cody didn’t mind the rumours but Edward was having none of it. He heard some homophobic freshmen talking behind their backs and Edward got into a fight with them even after Cody desperately begged him to avoid any sort of violence.

To say that he was hurt was an understatement. Those freshmen were in the football team and could easily beat both Edward and his gang of dorks. Thankfully the word didn’t get out but people still wondered who would have the guts to beat up the school king. 

The only person besides Cody who knew was Isaac and that was because he was the one who found Edward and saved him from being beaten into a pulp. 

“Well, now you know how I feel”

Cody went to Barry for advice but instead he went on a controversial rant on how tea is better than coffee. It’s not like he was expecting much from Barry anyways (to be honest barry kinda creeped him out)

At the moment he was having lunch with the rest of the gang. Edward apparently couldn’t join them since he was ‘too busy’. Cody bit down on his sandwich and grumbled, what could Edward have that is so important? It’s not like he sat with anyone else anyways. Cody knew that he was probably becoming a little bit too paranoid and Edward had his own life to deal with. So, to make up for lost time he decided to take Edward out on a date. 

He had prepared everything. Some Disney movies (Edward won’t admit it but he always cries at the end), snacks that are probably bad for you and a clean couch for some cuddles. He was excited to have some quality time with his boyfriend.

So he obviously felt heartbroken when Edward rejected him and when he asked why, he simply refused to answer which sent Cody in a wild rage. There was screaming, crying and a lot of hurtful words were said. He can’t even remember why he fell in love in the first place. 

Cody was walking through the hallways trying to reach his next class, that’s when he heard a loud bang from the janitor’s closet. He just figured it was the shady janitor up to his usual shady shenanigans but curiosity got the best of him when he heard yelling from inside the closet. 

He cautiously opened the door only to see Edward and the emo kid fighting. They both stared at him in shock as his eyes hovered over the blue strings and stopped at the piercing cyan eyes staring at him. Edward was caught off guard as Nevin punched his face with full force,”not so secretive anymore are you?” he sharply turned his head back to cody and glared at him,”what are you doing here?”

Cody was in shock. There is no way that such a small kid would be able to lift edward like that! Why does Edward have blue strings coming from his hand? Why the fuck are they doing this in the janitors closet?! 

His train of thought was cut off as he heard the emo seemingly mocking edward. Edward screams in frustration as the other boy shoves past Cody and then decides to make a run for it. Edward tries to run after him but he is pulled back,”Let me go!” “not until you explain why you’ve been avoiding me”

The school king looked back at his boyfriend with a shocked expression,”avoiding you?! I’ve been trying to protect you!” 

“From WHAT!? Some stupid emo shortstack?!” 

“What no-”

“I HEARD THAT!”

They both looked at the hallway and back at each other and opened their mouths to yell at each other but nothing came out

After a moment of silence Edward decided to be the one to speak but was quickly interrupted (Cody knew that edward had been hanging out with blue more and therefore knew more ways to weasel his way out of situations and he wasn’t gonna let that happen...again)

“Care to explain why you were having a dramatic anime battle against that kid? And also why in the janitor's closet out of all places like what the fuck?”

Edward took a deep breath in and said,”listen there’s no easy way to say this but….I HAVE SUPERNATURAL POWERS! Oh my god it’s just like bandaid, you just have to rip it off” 

Cody looked at Edward with a blank expression,”yeah no shit sherlock! I was gonna ask you why you’ve been getting into fights?!”

“...Why do you want to know?” Edward grumbled 

Cody let out a frustrated sigh,”well, excuse me for caring for my boyfriend’s health!” 

Edward blinked. Cody didn’t usually talk like this, it was mostly ink or that brat nevin who would always use sarcasm. No one had the guts to speak back to him (with the exception of Barry because sometimes it seemed like the boy had no sense of self preservation).

“We can’t keep lying to each other if you want this relationship to work….and it seems like you’re not willing to open up to me” 

Edward stared at Cody in shock. He couldn’t be serious right? Edward had been a perfect boyfriend! Or so he thought.

“Wait, you're joking right? You love to joke!” his voice quivered

Cody looked at Edward and left without a word and glanced behind his shoulders only to find his now ex-boyfriend, trying his best not to cry.

“I...I understand. I do hope you forgive me one of these days.” and with that we have two broken hearts

I just realized I never posted these even though I drew them like 3 months ago and I was like oh heck

anyway a little bit of ibvs except they’re vmv characters because mae literally waved their arms around in front of vmv and silently beckoned me to add everything to it

• Esteban is a prince who is in line to become king in the kingdom of Zorrositio (which is an extremely uncreative name for the kingdom entirely on purpose). He’s supposed to be like, rich and important or whatever, but he spends most of his time secretly researching the supernatural because he has no interest in politics. He comes across as mortal, but actually has some magus blood in him. • Isaias is a faery that Esteban caught lurking around in the castle courtyard. Because of Esteban’s partiality towards the supernatural, he let Isaias go, but Isaias still hangs around in spite of that. Somehow they became ‘friends’, but they don’t get along in the slightest. • Nilo is a hybrid envy demon also turned into a vampire. He lives in the woods with his brother, Diego. When Esteban wanted to summon a demon for fun, Isaias gave him Nilo’s sigil in return for a secret room in the castle. Nilo ended up in the castle and I just realized I haven’t thought past that part aside from usual “Nevin deliberately trying to ruin Edward’s life” shenanigans. • Diego is Nilo’s brother, and also a hybrid envy demon. I’m still trying to come up with this part of the backstory, heck.
