Mingas por el mar/Proyecto de grupo 4 (11 de febrero de 2023)

La actividad CAS planificada para el mes de febrero estuvo organizada de tal forma en que no solo cumpliera con una de las siglas de la asignatura (Creatividad, Actividad y Servicio), sino que también de tal manera en que, por medio de esta expedición, pudiéramos nutrirnos de datos e información útiles para la propuesta del proyecto de grupo 4 que se realiza como parte del PD.

El día de la actividad partimos de la institución a la ubicación en Posorja, Vía Data -donde se nos había indicado que sería la minga- y, una vez arribamos al lugar se nos explicó como se realizaría la distribución de la limpieza de las áreas de la playa. Una vez finalizada la recolección de desechos en la playa, juntamos las bolsas para que estas sean recogidas por las personas responsables de llevarlas a los sitios de separación y clasificación.

(Tras pasar un par de semanas se nos informaría que recolectamos 122 kilos de desechos que, en su mayoría, eran plásticos)

Al culminar aquella etapa comenzamos a realizar lo planificado en cuanto al proyecto de grupo 4. En mi caso, tuve que, junto mis compañeros de grupo, Tomás Bedoya y Adriano Mora, recoger muestras de arena seca y arena mojada de la playa para así medir la cantidad de microplásticos que hay en cada tipo de arena.

Desde que nos comentaron la idea me sentí emocionada por ser parte de esta experiencia, puesto que siempre había querido formar parte de una minga pero nunca había averiguado demasiado al respecto. Una vez allí mantuve el espíritu de predisposición y entusiasmo por ayudar en lo que sea posible, pero, una vez se terminó el trabajo, la alegría de poder compartir con mis compañeros fuera del ámbito académico resultó ser superior a todo. En la jornada de regreso el cansancio se hizo cada vez más evidente, pero el total de la experiencia hizo que todo haya valido la pena.
