I'm trying to remember where this plot was from, a woman had an imaginary friend that became real and started killing ppl, she had a new neighbor that taught her how to control her powers and there was some tension between them, I think the narrative was implying it was romantic, but he turned out to be her half brother. I think he was still interested on her romantically tho. Do you happen to know where that's from?
That sounds like it might be season 4 of the SyFy channel horror anthology series Channel Zero, called The Dream Door.

There's a short description of the bro/sis relationship in this post.
Let me know if that's it, or if that's not it, and we'll keep hunting.
"HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT OUR DAUGHTER POSTED?"

IAN SWEET is ‘Smoking Again’ and falling into a pit of romantic despair…
On the punchy, sometimes ghostly track, the singer is a complete mess as she pines away for a toxic lover, trapped in a vicious cycle of self-sabotage (‘Haven’t slept/Started smoking again/And I’m tryin to grow my hair out/But I keep cuttin’ my bangs/Every time you say my name’).
Declaring the track to be ‘pretty dramatic,’ Jillian Medford says about ‘Smoking Again’ (via Stereogum):
‘I often put myself in situations that I know won’t be beneficial to me, just to get a rise out of myself. Almost like setting up obstacles just to see if I could overcome them.’
Layla Karnes and Liam Carr switched coaches from IAMO to John Kerr and Nikolai Morozov in Florida
they did well with their RD at Championnats in August, then went to the British qualifier Aug 21-25, and were 3rd (of 3 i think) after Lilah and Lewis and Bekker/Hernandez. they maybe weren't welcomed with open arms by British figure skating or team Britain - there were a lot of photos of skaters being warm and posing together, and Layla and Liam weren't included in any of them, and there was a coach who appeared inconsiderate at best towards them on the stream
i don't know if British Ice Skating encouraged them to move to a British coach, or if they thought it would help their prospects. John Kerr was a 7x British ice dance champion with his sister Sinead who placed 10th and 8th at the 2006 and 2010 Olympics. He coaches at the Iceberg Skating Academy and the Pines Ice Arena in Miami. I can't find any teams who are competing internationally from there this season- Jillian Prever/Aghan Berk Dortkol were on the JGP last season representing Turkey but not this one. Katarina del Camp who skated for a season with Ian Somerville also trained there last season with her new partner/husband, but they left for Matthew Gates in North Carolina in June

ADR Voice Casting...

Paula: How it started... Ian Sweet: a duo in Paradise. Cool chilled tunes for the Protomartyr-hungry.
Paula: Ian Sweet after the show... Loved taking these two's pictures! Caught front-woman Jillian Medford chatting with a guy wearing a CBH t-shirt and that moment felt magical. Also did I mention that her drummer was wearing a Chicago Bulls tshirt? (thanks for the shots guys!) :)
Santiago: The terrain of post punk often feels very much like dark muddled, uncharted waters. Rightly so, as it’s somewhat open ended structure allows for much creativity and experimentation. Seeing Protomartyr make quick work of this formula on record and on stage can be remarkable in its own right.
The abstract licks of guitarist Greg Ahee set a very dark sometimes even somber tone, while
drummer Alex Leonard exhibits an absolute blistering technique- often subbing standard verse beats for over achieving fills that often sit at the forefront of the listener’s focus.
The rhythm section weaves together hypnotic patterns that effortlessly coalesce with vocalist Joe Casey’s thundering and brooding command, creating a unique and very complete package.
In the short amount of time theyve been putting out records, Protomartyr has also made a name for themselves on the stage. Witnessing that prowess live becomes something much more visceral. There’s no denying the future looks bright for these Detroit boys.
Paula: She takes it all in... here are some shots of these beer-holding guys :p
Paula: Caught bassist Scott Davidson and drummer Alex Leonard after the show and I was like "daaaaaaaumn! these two pictures are for my brother!" Indeed, I let them know how much we love them, like, part of the family love. And boom boom, took their picture. Very cool cats!
Paula: And of course this post could not be complete without the awesome Black Cat staff pictures. Hey it's where all the magic happens! (Alec is a super cool bartender and plays in The Owners! And the people who work the main entrance always lets us leave the drinks behind them when that nicotine urge calls).
Paula: And of course I saw some cool clothing hanging on some rad humans and had to share...
