Remember to always smile! Even when you can’t find that one memory that made you smile... I like to look at some funny vines or watch funny videos on YouTube to cheer me up! They work like a charm!!! This was me in 2017 that year was so crazy! From hurricane Irma hitting us to us not having electricity, cars breaking down left and right! and getting our van repoed, I have had my shares on bad days and although they were horrible they thought me a great lesson... that’s to appreciate what I have right in front of me because yes, while I didn’t have power temporarily there are those that always live in the darkness with no electricity... I appreciate having electricity because if not I would not be able to communicate like this and this wouldn’t be able to reach the world! **Transformation Tuesday** As a parent... I have failed. As a friend... I have failed. As a sister... I have failed. As a daughter... I have failed. As a leader... I have failed. Or at least this is how I felt. In this life, we all feel like failures at some time or another... BUT, through the power of Jesus Christ, we are all renewed. I once was lost. But now I am found! I am an overcomer. I was falling down an unhealthy path of eating whatever whenever. I felt crappy and depressed all the time. I was tired and didn't know why. I started drinking my Shakeology everyday. Within a month I noticed a drastic change. Not only was I feeling better, I had energy. I was not tired all the time. I started working out again because I felt better. Which made me feel even better yet. I stopped with my "I don't have time" excuse and made time AND the "I don't have the money" excuse and saved little by little to invest in myself. I realized that MY health is just as important for my daughter as it is for me. Leading by example. By fueling my body with essential nutrients and exercising everyday I can show my daughter how to live a long and healthy life. Here I am today. Never missing a day of my shake or my workout. Feeling amazing. Being an example. Strengthening my friendships. Making new friends. Loving my family. And helping others! I am a work in progress. I am no longer a failure in my own eyes. This is one of the best books I've read in awhile. But it's so good that I can't read more than a few pages at a time. There is so much in it and it's so uplifting. My Mom @spilleramy318 recommended that I read it and I kinda borrowed it from her. It's such a good book and it really makes you think. I just finished chapter one: Who You Are Is Still The Same. It's such an encouragement to remember that we aren't what we're going through right now. Through Christ we are More than our circumstances and the valley we pass through. We are daughters of the King eternal and everlasting. The daughter of the Alpha and Omega. Today at work, I had a customer whose voice was dripping with sugary sweetness, who was upset bc she had received a past due notice in the mail and darling, honey child, sweetie pie she has NEVER been late paying a bill. I explained to her that the payment just crossed in paths in the mail with her notice, bc her act was at a zero balance, but she would not be satisfied. She insisted I remove the past due notice from her act. Again, I explained to her that her act wasn’t past due, but was at zero balance, but no she said she had the letter right there in her hand🤦🏻‍♀️ after circling around SEVERAL times with her, she finally said, no, you don’t understand 😳 you made a mistake and I was very offended that you sent me this letter, and I just wanted to tell you that you were erroneous, thank you, goodbye, click.📞 she hung up on me......OY TO THE VEH PEOPLE! This was definitely what my friends and I call #firstworldproblems or what the Bible calls #lightafflictions but the GIANT PROBLEM is this....when I told my boss what happened, he was not surprised. In the past this client has informed my boss that she read her Bible 4-5 hours every day, well my boss doesn’t believe this for a second. He thinks she is a big fat liar, bc he can’t believe that anyone reads their a Bible for every day like that, and why is it so easy for him to disbelieve such a thing? Bc her LIFE doesn’t reflect such an endeavor. She is a person that can never be satisfied and clearly is obsessed with outward appearances. This is her reputation. 🙇🏻‍♀️ As completely frustrating and annoying as my convo was with her I can say I am completely MOST annoyed and frustrated at her TERRIBLE witness for Messiah, and all I can do is cry, LORD!
