GNR apreende 13.000 litros de álcool e 11.260 cigarros em comércios

A GNR apreendeu na quinta-feira 13 litros de bebidas alcoólicas e 11.260 cigarros em situação irregular em estabelecimentos comerciais do Porto, Matosinhos, Gondomar e Paredes, adiantou hoje esta força policial.

Em comunicado, a GNR explicou que esta ação de fiscalização aos estabelecimentos comerciais, que decorreu no âmbito da campanha "Portugal Sempre Seguro", teve por objetivo prevenir a evasão e a fraude tributária.

"As ações incidiram sobre os circuitos marginais de venda ao público de produtos sujeitos a Imposto sobre o Tabaco (IT) e a Imposto sobre o Álcool e Bebidas Alcoólicas (IABA) sem o pagamento dos impostos especiais a que se encontram sujeitos e em violação das normas de selagem e estampilhagem estabelecidas pelo regime jurídico dos Impostos Especiais de Consumo", explicou a GNR.

A GNR adiantou que esta operação contou com a colaboração da Autoridade de Segurança Alimentar e Económica (ASAE) que, no âmbito das suas competências, detetou três contraordenações por incumprimento dos requisitos gerais e específicos de higiene, tendo sido encerrado um estabelecimento comercial, sem especificar em que localidade, e detetados dois crimes por exploração ilícita de jogo.

Foram ainda realizadas ações de fiscalização rodoviária para o controlo da circulação de mercadorias, tendo sido detetadas 24 infrações no âmbito do Regime de Bens em Circulação, sublinhou.
