#why yes i do unfollow if you start rbing or posting shit about how b/ls aren't queerphobic and are good faith identities#or start rbing from people who have said shit like that like v*spider#maybe even block if i feel particularly hoodwinked by people being stealth#i'm not discoursing over this btw i've seen all the arguments in support of it and the so called history they keep sharing#its funny how they only ever have like max 3 sources and one of them is ALWAYS the la/vender women poem.#hrrrm.#i do not have the spoons to list out in length why the language/labels used are harmful but i do have a carrd /w linked sources#it's not that their experiences don't exist i just think they have some internalized queerphobia to get over#bi and lesbian aren't dirty words and nb people are included in every sexuality already#trans women are women and conflating trans people with terfs bc we say lesbians aren't men or can't be attracted#to men is uh... sure something alright (transmisogynist)#having a pref for women/similar genders doesn't make u not bi#and comphet isn't genuine attraction its comphet#also i am genuinely so tired of people saying that the only reason bi people were shoved out of lesbian spaces is because of terfs#like i am genuinely so tired#our movements for our rights and to be seen as a whole valid identity was a natural progression of the bisexual community#you are taking away our history and autonomy#i wrote up a post about my extended stance but left it in the drafts actually but these tags are sort of a tl;dr about that so

how to make a tumblr post (and get notes!)
Have never seen any post discuss these exact things, so i'm sharing my insights with y'all*
Tumblr media
Use images. They don't have to be good or spectacular like this extremely coherent thing I just made. They just need to catch the eye break up dashboard monotony.
The gif search feature is an unreliable wild card at best and a NSFW eye gouge at worst, but it gives credit to the op of the gif
Tumblr media
If you're an artist your whole post is your images, so skip to the links and tags section of this post because the rest won't help much.
-> Image Descriptions
When making a post that contains images, hover over an image and click the meatballs icon in the lower right corner of the image. Click "update description" to add a description. It isn't always necessary, but it is very courteous for a variety of accessibility reasons.
-> Text
Break up your text. Run-on sentences are standard here, lack of punctuation too, you can really do whatever you want, but avoid massive blocks of text. unless you've got a really incendiary opening line and the entire center of that granite chunk of text is actually comedy gold, hard-hitting tumblr journalism, or one of those zany confessional posts that can be followed up by the drive thru meme
Tumblr media
break up
your text.
and go light on the ALL CAPS. save it for emphasis or when you're feeling very unhinged or saRcAStiC y'know how that goes, i don't need to explain it. this site has a very dry tone to its posts so caps are rare. also periods
Bullet points and numbered posts are good and fine. The "Chat" post option is used less often these days, but different groups found uses for it so it sticks around.
Titles Matter
they help break up text and put people at ease. they are best for informative, mature posts but can make you look like a square in more relaxed conversations. sometimes they are also great for emphasis in a comedic sh*tpost (censorship is entirely up to you, btw. you don't have to censor much on tumblr except titties and genitals).
Tumblr automatically shortens long posts now, but etiquette asks that you tag #long post if you want to avoid clogging up someone's dash. It don't matter too much though, this is the "color of the sky" site, so get used to posts being too long
That being said "READ MORE" is a fantastic feature. Use it when you want some level of privacy like "hey, only click below if you want to hear about my problems" or "click below to read my 18+ fanfic." Read more is also great in case you want to delete something forever. If a reblogged post has a read more, but op deleted the og post, that content is gone (readmore has to be on the og post at time of posting for this to work, btw; edits to og post do not span all reblogs)
the other bells and whistles like colored font or italics are helpful in improving text, but we don't really rely on them. every mode of looking at this site alters those aspects somehow so we often ignore them
-> Links
Hint: People don't want to click links. We don't know where they're taking us. Most of us are on our phone and don't want to open another tab or leave the app to go on the browser. We're cozy here on Tumblr and do not wish to be whisked away (unless it's a rickroll)
Don't leave the link thumbnail to do all the work, like so
Tumblr media
add a little sneak peak info, maybe your favorite line from the article or a reason why it's important for people to know the info on the other side of that link. Sell it!
When you're adding a link into a list, i.e. no large thumbnail just a line of text leading you to another site, try not to copy/paste the link as is
"https://......"
No one wants to click on that it's gross and scary. It's screams "meh, i'll click later if i feel like it." If the build up to the link is too good to resist ("if you want to save the orphaned puppies here's the link") then that http mess is sufficient.
Otherwise, dress your links up a little by including the title or a description of what the link goes to:
Tumblr media
Or, if it's an informal post where you're just popping info in to back up whatever insane thing you just said, just write something like "link here" or "(x)" and hyperlink it.
-> Tags
artists, writers, and other creators: leave a tag on your creative content that makes it easy for blog visitors to see it all at once. e.g. "My work" and we click on that while on your blog and see only your works
You can have up to thirty tags on any post. All will make your post show up in searches and followed tags (it used to be only the first five tags that got you traction). However,
Tumblr media
Please. Do not tag everything you can possibly imagine being relevant to your post because
It's called tag spam and it's against TOS
Everyone here hates that
No one is going to check all those tags ever. Someone might search one five years from now and accidentally find your post hanging out in the ether and they'll still ignore it.
Your imagination is wicked tiny because I guarantee the perfect tag is going to be something indecipherable and seemingly niche.
Follow popular tags (or at least be aware of them)
Tumblr media
If yours is an off-the-cuff post and you don't have time to find out what a niche group is into then wing it, sure, idc. this is also the shitposting site do whatever you want
Don't put your hate in the fan tags. This is the unapologetically-like-dumb-things site and your negativity is not wanted. You can still complain, just avoid tagging to get the attention of the fans of whatever you're complaining about. That enables pvp and even nonfans will know you deserve the backlash
-> Audio & Video
clickable by nature because we all love noise and moving images so there's no special way to share posts like this. just post them with good tags and maybe a one-liner, and they'll sell themselves
Tip: it's nice to add descriptions to these too but it isn't common
Protip: if the audio is the best part of the video (e.g. a baby burps REALLY loudly and it's hilarious) please caption or tag "Unmute!"
-> mkay bye
that's all i can think of right now. will update later if i remember something
---
*this is year eleven of my time on tumbles and i studied marketing in college for like six of those years and have been applying that bupkis to tumblr ever since. every post i see that gets no traction and every lovely artist that goes nowhere on here bothers me so deeply and i sincerely want y'all to succeed <3 <3
+ If you find this helpful and want to support my blog, I have a ko-fi!
+ If you're concerned about my mental health from being on Tumblr so long and want to contribute to my "get better" fund, I have a ko-fi!

Update: they’re now @dailyanimeships (I'm blocked so no tag there :/) but it's the same person. Update 2: they’re blocked again. Let’s celebrate
Hello everyone, I need your help getting rid of someone that's been harassing people (myself included).
Tumblr media
This is the person in question and I need your help to get rid of them and stopping any future harassment.
Even if you're not in the Black Clover fandom, I would appreciate a moment for your time to read this. For a bit of context, if you haven't seen Black Clover, the main ship in the show is Astelle (Asta x Noelle). In the show, Noelle has a massive crush on Asta (think Amity to Luz/Marinette to Adrien/Hinata to Naruto/etc, etc). It's pretty clear that Astelle will be canon but sometimes canon doesn't matter and people ship different things. Now onto this whole shit show.
Harassing in DMs
To start off, they're basically every shade of bigot. My moots and I have gotten really nasty DMs from dailyasnoel and I'm going to censor them because there's pretty bad slurs in them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first one was sent to me and the second one was sent to @the-geek-librarian
We're both in a server and everyone in this server (nearly 15 of us) have been blocked. Keep in mind, not a single one of us had ever interacted with them in our lives. We've all tagged our posts properly and haven't said a single negative thing about Astelle or their blog. They went out of their way to send us these DMs with very hateful slurs all because we don't want the same fictional teenagers kissing.
Harassing others
This isn't even the first time that dailyasnoel has gone after people simply for just shipping Noelle with another character. These two, ramiliadoesstuff and kcuf-ad have also posted about been harassed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Along with that, there is now a ship week for Kahonoelle (a femslash ship involving Noelle) being run by moot @t-f-t (Alex) and this was the response to the original post (a post that was tagged properly and no malice towards anyone) announcing this.
Tumblr media
This could've just been the end of it but they felt the need to send an ask to Alex expressing their disgust because there's people who don't want the same fictional teenagers kissing.
Tumblr media
Then there's this lovely comment on that post.
Tumblr media
Guess who's going to be extremely annoying during Kahonoelle week. (BTW, wouldn't it be really funny if we got them off the internet before their shit ass Astelle week).
Fanfiction
This harassment isn't just on tumblr either, it's on AO3 too.
I scrolled through the Yunoelle (Yuno x Noelle) tag on AO3 and the comments on some of these fanfictions are so vile. There's so many hate comments and I didn't even screenshot all of them because there's so many of them.
I found comments left by people with the username "dailyasnoel" and other guest users with different usernames that make similar comments to dailyasnoel because I assume it's the same person.
Making the Devils Cry
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yuno and Noelle Oneshots
Tumblr media
When the Sea Goddess Snaps
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hot Tub Accident
Tumblr media
While scrolling the Yunoelle tag, I noticed that there's people who have started limited their comment section, have deleted comments with responses like "dude, calm down," or have made their fanfictions private.
And even as a little side note, I want to make it clear that I was able to look at every single Yunoelle fanfiction on AO3 because it's not even a popular ship. There's only 31 fanfictions for them so a lot of these fanfictions are written by the same authors. On the other hand, Astelle has been consistently the most popular ship in the fandom and even has the most fanfictions. So it's not even like Astelle fans are hurting for fanfictions or that Yunoelle fans are invading their spaces.
The actual blog
The icing on this queerphobic, harassing, racist cake is that they're an art thief. Their blog only has art and all of it is from other people. There's no indication these are reposts, there's no signs that they got permission to repost these, nor any links to the original posters. (original art links > 1/2/3)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you know nothing about Black Clover or the fandom, I want to make this abundantly clear, this is behavior is unacceptable. This fandom has been very peaceful as of late and this one person does not speak for Astelle fans in the slightest. The Astelle fans I've interacted with are quite lovely, and if Asta or Noelle or Tabata (the creator) saw this, they'd be disgusted.
Whether or not you're in the Black Clover fandom is irrelevant. This is a horrible person and art thief, please report and block this person. Together, we can get rid of this person.
@dailyasnoel I know you have me blocked but if you happen to read this, I want you to know that if this small part of you that you show on the internet is even a modicum similar to how you behave in real life (joking or not), you are going to live a very sad and lonely life.
I hope you enjoy your own company because no one will want to be your friend, no one will support you, and above all else, no one will mourn you. Your absence will be treated with nothing but joy and whimsy because you are a sad and pathetic parasitic monster.

"averagegirlie" is just "xxoxobree", formerly known as "breeandhermunches" on a burner. newsflash, your "fav" miles writer isn't who you think she is!
ik a lot of us must be VERY confused so let me help you out. @/averagegirlie and @/xxoxobree are the same mfkn person! why did bree make this account? i assume that it's so she could fend for herself and keep the "unbothered" act up on her main page. that's why she deletes all her reblogs after arguing w someone then comes over to this account to start bsing. not to mention she can say extremely problematic things with no repercussions, because she doesn't have a following on that page + it's not tied to her.. at least it wasn't before! bree's a very messy liar. i peeped the truth so lemme share it w y'all.
bree if you're seeing this, go take a couple shots before you read. you should've kept it cute but you didn't, so let's get nasty mf.
i have receipts! let's start right here cz i find this the funniest:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
nobody but her spells "internet" like that... this is one of the many examples of the two accounts talking alike, even though bree said she wouldn't refer to "yao" as a friend when the whole rashad thing was going down. yesterday, i reminded yao of that. she said "i like bree, so what" but she deleted that and changed it to "when are y'all gonna catch on to the fact that we talk?" mhm.. bree's a lil confused, but next!
Tumblr media
y'all see "yao's" tag? telling alexa to play some bs... then y'all see bree?? NEXT!
Tumblr media
go look on miss average's page. she only comes online to defend and ride the hell out of bree's dick. remember ts w amani? why are you going so hard for someone who says they dk you like that LMFAO. not to mention, when the rashad shit was happening, bree said "this my girl and she never been wrong" but then she turns around and says "i wouldn't say we're friends" WHICH ONE IS IT MISS MUNCH??! 😭🤣🤣 next!
Tumblr media
why we praising tf out of bree's oc? ts was ai bro. we got a self supafan. next...
Tumblr media
look at this smart anon, putting tg the pieces and shit. "ash and dalia fight your battles every time" is literally.. a lie. what battles are we referring to? talia's never in drama as much as you're implying. and ima ride for my friends anyway, tf? but my entire blog will never be centered around ONE human being. it ain't that serious ever. "yao" and bree need hobbies cz writing obv ain't doing it for her. next.
Tumblr media
bree has also said she's messy lol. she likes drama. hm!
Tumblr media
look at how she came on her white horse when bree was battling the great war w anons over miles morales smut (which i don't fw, js to be clear.) who summoned her? BREE LMFAIOFHDGFKJAS... NEXT!!!
Tumblr media
here's miss xxoxo munches being ableist, much like her alter ego. bro went silent and blocked lia after this. now let's get into miss average again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
look at this bs. ion even gotta say much.. this girl is black & not chinese!! y'all should know why this is weird. here's the "evidence" she gave me btw:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
here's me proving her wrong! she tried! next.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
y'all see the way they're tagging their posts w their usernames? mhm.. ik you do.
Tumblr media
HMMM....
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
these are both bree. i don't mean to bring up maye again, but i have to for context. what happened wasn't js "drama"... the things she said to dalia were racist + that post she was lyin' about lia in. she also liked the post.. dead giveaway you silly bitch! 🥱 nd she was also instigating in honey's inbox. i know her typing style and her emoji colors lol. it's common sense atp. it's not hard to tell when an anon is bree. and from what i'm seeing not even maye is fw her.. LMFAISAIDHSAY GIRL YOU'RE DONE! 😭 feel free to go thru their accs, you'll see ts too. she's funny asf for this, i'll give her that and that only. i've never laughed so much in under 24 hours. 💓
in conclusion, bree is messy, bored, insecure, ableist & miserable! she thought nobody would ever find out but here we are today. she fronts not gaf but then switches to this acc to let off some serious steam... as miss freeman once said: "Alexa, play yikes!"
but bless bree 💗 maybe if you change now, you'll still be able to collect your tokens like dalia says.

these are just some thoughts after seeing ur post on the hockey thigh thing btw, and i hope you hear me out. you being a lesbian (im bi and i have a gf currently), which is something you emphasise a lot, and not being attracted to these dudes doesnt make this whole parasocial archive any less weird or creepy. i'm not here to shit on or invalidate your passion, because obv its something you care about deeply from how much your scour the web for all these old things, even of their mother when she was young. and genuinely, thats pretty cool, i work in archival and i have a lot of respect for that with the effort you've put into it.
but i think you are encouraging others to imitate this blog and culture, when it comes to other players who aren't as in the media as the hughes family. like i agree that its part and parcel of the job as athletes who represent a multitude of things like ur franchise ur family etc, but i feel like we just shouldn't proliferate this. i know people on twitter are unjustly harsh and oftentimes critical to the point of meanness, but i think some points they share are valid. just bc its on the internet, doesnt give us the permission to do stuff ykwim? like imagine just going up to the hughes and giving them a scrapbook of every media moment from their mothers childhood, to her college, their dad, and them as kids and now as adults. thats just straight up weird. and don't even get me on the sexualisation, i get they are adults but isn't that just basic respect?
i know having an internet community is rlly important to some, and im sure ur followers would still give you that support u need even if you dont constantly supply them with these media things, or dangle ur secret archive like a carrot over them.
hoping you have a great day
you clearly put a lot of time and thought into this, so i will give you that same level of consideration back. i think you have some misunderstandings about me, hockey fandom, and fandom culture as a whole.
first, the lesbian thing. admittedly tumblr search is very broken but according to it i’ve mentioned the word lesbian twice on here, as a disclaimer for why i might not be the best person to understand what male attracted people find hot. it's possible it's come up a few other times but it’s definitely not something i "emphasize a lot". it's somewhat ironic that you bring up you being bi and having a gf in what reads to me like a deflection on your critique that i say i'm gay too much, when you seem to think me saying i'm a lesbian is bc i'm trying to deflect on sexualizing these guys. which admittedly is the most confusing part of your entire ask. is this solely about the thigh ask? if you’re worried about "basic respect", hockey fandom is probably not the place for you. i know i don't like seeing 500 reader insert posts every time i open anyone's tag, which is why i have related terms muted and block people who don't use them. however this is very much a part of hockey fandom and i’m aware of that. on the flip side, the unfortunate reality is that hockey players are some of the nastiest misogynistic men on the planet who generally do not see women as actual human beings beyond mommies, maids, and holes. if i WAS sexualizing these men 24/7 i would feel well within my rights to do so, and could make an only slightly ironic argument for it being feminist praxis. if jack hughes can ask girls to flash him, i can have a little sexualization, as a treat.
calling me weird and creepy isn’t actually negated by following up with saying you're not trying to shit on or invalidate my passion and you respect the effort i put into it. if you think i’m weird and creepy, you’re allowed to feel that way, but actually own it if that’s what your opinion is.
you imagined this scrapbook scenario and then say that it’s weird. i agree, that hypothetical thing would be weird. good thing i’m not doing that, will never do that, and take many efforts to have a strong fourth wall and keep this blog separate from the people it's about. i am a firm believer in keeping fandom private and secluded! that's why im not tweeting all of this and tagging them.
it’s a big leap for you to assume that i do this because i "need support". not that it matters, but i do all of this because i find it fun and i’m being generous with people who do not have the time/resources/know-how to find this stuff on their own. there's nothing wrong with finding a community online, but i had one before doing all this. in fact, all of this has been really more trouble than it's worth in terms of harassment vs kindness lmao. some people on here have been lovely to me, but i’m beyond the age where i need virtual validation from strangers. you’re right about one thing, i do dangle my secret archive like a carrot, largely for petty reasons because of a few specific assholes.
you seem to think i’m the only person who does stuff like this. update/archival accounts are very common for musicians, actors, even like... tiktok influencers. were you not online when people hacked an airport security cam feed to watch one direction sit and do nothing? everything ive ever posted on here has been available to the public. i’m just good at finding stuff. even within this smaller sports fandom on tumblr, i have been inspired by OTHER BLOGS who were doing this before me and go way harder than i do. i didn’t invent the concept of collecting information and images about public figures like you seem to think i did, but thanks.
if you want to critique fandom culture as a whole, go right ahead, but i ask that you keep the sanctimonious lectures out of my inbox, especially when they're based in assumptions. any one of these things could have been questions i would be willing to chat about if you were actually curious about me and what i do. i in fact have lots of opinions that might surprise you on many of these things you mentioned. but i will have those conversations with other people, who talk to me with the respect and dignity that i deserve.

I need some clarification here, because I'm getting conflicting information with what I've been taught is "fandom protocol" (I'm an elder, so maybe I'm out of the loop a bit.) I was under the impression that if you disagree with someone, block and move on with life. Don't engage, don't mob, just block and move on with life. I see you reblogging posts from folks who have admitted that that's what they did - followed basic fandom protocol.
Are you now saying that those that reblogged that screenshot post are responsible for sending the message that "it's okay to mob the OP with death threats" by doing so? Aren't most of these blogs 18+ that are admittedly only responsible for their own actions? Are we now to wait 24 hours to ensure there's not a dialogue that needs to happen? Obviously fact-checking should be done, but things slip through, especially when it's from a source we perceive as a vetted source.
You're starting to hold folks accountable for crimes which they confess they did not commit. One offered a sincere, public apology taking responsibility for their actions, an acknowledgement of the harm they caused, and a commitment to doing better in the future along with removing the offending post after your call out. Isn't that what a good apology is?
I think you've moved the goalposts on this, and it's no longer about spreading awareness of Gaz-erasure (whether intentional or not) and the inappropriate screen-grab rage-bait of a post. I am very concerned for Myka - they never should have been put in this place. But I think your emotions are swelling out past those that deserve it.
(BTW, I did send the same ask to CrashTestBunny, but I'd like your thoughts too - especially on block-and-move-on and being responsible for follower's actions as an 18+ blog.)
I did see this in bunny's blog and did ponder on what you asked and here's my two cents on it:
(this is so long)
When you're on the internet and posting things publicly, you're not isolated, you're not alone.
Your blog, even if you make sure to never reblog/interact with it or use tags and therefore think you're keeping it anonymous, you're really not.
You're never immune from being found, from being criticised for the things you say, and you are certainly not anonymous.
I start by saying that to say that there will ALWAYS be people ready to criticise others for the things they say/post or the way they act.
So even if the "fandom etiquette" dictates that you should block and move on with your life, that's not to say everyone will.
And in this case, what happened with @/codslut had nothing to do with being unable to block and move on. That only works for posts you see in your dash and don't like, because we all are responsible for curating our algorithm and choosing what we interact with.
With @/codslut, she became a victim of public scorn over a misunderstanding and misinterpretation like a game of broken telephone.
And the person that screenshotted her post and shared it with their followers knew exactly what they were doing by doing so which was publicly posting about it and creating discourse among their followers.
I want to believe they thought they were an island/isolated, but I know (and we all know) they knew they weren't. Turns out they have a history of influencing their followers (by accident or on purpose, doesn't matter) into ganging up on other creators.
And with blogs as big as the screenshotter's, with as big of a following and that much of an activity, and, of course, the reblogging that came from other big blogs with massive followings as well...
It's no wonder it all spun out of control and became unmanageable.
And, as usual, the internet will do what the internet will do, and bad apples will find their way into controversial posts (like the Gaz erasure) and then go bully people because they think they can.
And in this situation... blocking and moving on doesn't work. It simply doesn't.
@/codslut didn't have the choice to block and move on with her day. Not after what was basically a scorn campaign that sent dozens of people her way.
These blogs, big ones, have a responsibility, not to police their follower's actions (as if a parent) but to hold themselves accountable because they did throw wood into the fire by reblogging it and putting it in more people's dashboards.
They can't just wash their hands of all responsibility, because they did have a hand in it. Even if they didn't mean to.
TL;DR: 1- "Block and Move On" only works on the dash, not when people are harrassing you in your blog/inbox; 2- You're not responsible for your followers' actions, but you are responsible for the fact you instigated their actions by poking the beast.

Note
I saw in the tags of one of your post, you said your version of angel duat is intersex & has both parts.
(This is not a hate ask btw)
Intersex does not mean "both parts". Intersex people with ambiguous genitalia have a single set that is somewhere between male & female, but they do not have a fully male and a fully female set. Reproductive organs have a lot of homologous features (clitoris/penis, labia/scrotum, teates/ovaries), in general intersex genitalia do not have duplicate features as what would be required to "have both".
This is all just fanfic, but it's important imo because the "both parts" stereotype is really prevalent, and it's very inaccurate and causes us a lot of problems medically and socially. I'm an intersex person with a phallus instead of a clitoris, and labia instead of a scrotum. I personally refer to myself as "between male & female", because it's more accurate. I have no problems with people writing intersex characters in NSFW contexts, just please do so in a way that is respectful to us! If you do want to write a character with a fully male & fully female set of genitalia, I would recommend referring to them as salmacian, and not intersex. Try to avoid the word futa, as this is the shortened version of a slur for us. Same with herm.
Have a nice day!
I want to start this off by saying thank you, immensely, for starting by saying this isn't a hate anon. Based on past fandom trauma, I always panic when I see a big block of text, especially from an anon.
I'm also going to say that I can be really bad with words (I'm also at work right now shhh) so I hope this doesn't come off as bad/attacky either, because it isn't meant to be! I'm just going to kick it off by saying, I'm specifically a gender and sexuality counselor. So I work with all sorts under the sun. And I think that what can be the biggest struggle is that there are different variations of everything (if that makes sense?) A majority of my clients that are intersex do just say 'I have both parts' because I think that's what makes them most comfortable? I can't speak for them. But that's how a lot of them speak. Since I'm personally not intersex, that's just what I know. I do have one friend who is intersex who has completely male genitalia, but female internalized sex organs (ovaries, etc.) I have a client who has, per their very blunt words, 'a dick and a vag' (tmi here but like in place of clit they clearly have full phallus, but then a vaginal hole? slit? I'm so weird with genitals). I should also point out this is very similar to my Angel.
THAT BEING SAID. Again, everyone's experience is very different, and I am incredibly aware that this experience is not mine. I would never want to upset anyone, especially in an area that I don't personally endure. The best thing I can relate this to (and I'm aware this is a terrible comparison) is being trans and how people all view it very differently (I'm loud and proud about being trans, versus my ex refused to let anyone know and thought I was a 'performative trans' person for doing so.) This is definitely something I'm going to keep in mind, because this is really helpful information, and I can't project only the experiences that I have witnessed onto the experience of the whole. So I'll be mindful of that, and thank you for this. <3
Also haaaaa yeah no way would I use those last two words. Fun fact, I punched a kid in high school for using the herm word. I don't tolerate that shit. So don't worry. <3
But I definitely think moving forward I'm going to just say 'both parts' rather than intersex. I was just trying to drive it as straight forward to people in a way I figured they could understand, especially as things are starting to get smutty on this blog. But hey, demon anatomy is weird af, and probably dissimilar to most humans anyways so there's nothing wrong with having to explain it in depth in a way that might confuse people.
I appreciate your kindness about this, and willingness to educate. I know a lot about this stuff due to my job and personal life, but we are all always needing to grow and learn.

How to Tumblr
(there are probably endless posts like this, but I'm too lazy to look them up)
I want to start this post by saying this is not to shame/call out anyone and that it's for educational purposes only. In this case @key2525 commented on one of my posts-- letting me know they are new to the world of social media and reblogging. And I figured a lot of twitter (X) refugees and the like ended up here as well. And maybe some other people could use the refresher on how to participate in fandom aka reblogging creators stuff.
The best way to start and prevent other people from assuming you're a bot (yeah, we got a huge issue on this website with those) is by changing your banner and profile picture. Now, you do NOT have to (and I highly advise you don't) use a real photo of yourself. Never. Just don't. It's the internet and you're entitled to privacy. You can use a screenshot or photo of your favorite character or scene or a random picture off the internet that is free to use. If you wanna use license free pictures that won't get you into trouble, you might wanna look at pages like pexels, pixabay or vecteezy to find something that fits you and your blog. You can search up any type of theme/topic on those pages and find nice pictures to use.
If you want to use a gif from someone who made said gif on tumblr, then please ask permission first, wait for their answer and credit them in your blog bio once given permission. And I mean actual credit and not "credit to the owner" kinda sentences one might find under some peoples instagram posts, I mean (i.e.) "gif in banner/pfp made by @/1liv". (The / is so the user isn't drawn to this post right now, I don't wanna bother them, but they are the gifmaker of the one shown in the posts screenshots underneath)
(This will be a longer post, stay with me and tap on the readmore below)
So, if you have made your blog look a little more like a person by adding those two and perhaps a bio stating your age (some people who post mature or explicit content block you if you have no age listed or if you're underage) and/or preferred pronouns. Or add a title. (tumblr also gives you the option to switch off the title from being visible btw).
The red arrow points to the part that would be seen by people who look at your blog. All the posts that are not posted privately will show up on your followers dashboard. It also helps making you look like a person and not a bot. The green arrow is all the things you like. That ones not shown as the first page to anyone and you can turn it private. Liking something is more like collecting something into a little box for no one else but you to see. Reblogging is where it's at.
Tumblr media
Now comes the part that is important for fandom.
Tumblr media
Red arrow is reblog 🔁, which means it will end up visible on your blog (won't be empty anymore). Green arrow is likes ❤️. And the blue one is pointed at the comments 💬. Easy so far. All the hashtags like #sweet home 2 in the picture above can be added when you reblog something. It often helps when you add the name of a movie or show that you reblog in the tags, in case you ever want to look up something on your own blog. It'll pop right up under the hashtag you used. This also works for when you want to search someone else's blog for a specific show or movie. You just tap on the magnifying glass 🔍 next to "posts" on anyones blog.
Now, when you click on the reblog button this is what you would see:
Tumblr media
"#add tags" - this is where you put the show or movie name, the actors name or a shipname. You can also ramble to the creator what you liked about whatever it is you are reblogging. Or on other types of posts add your opinion.
The black arrow on the right bottom corner points to more options:
Tumblr media
All pretty self-explanatory. What I personally like is that if you come across a lot of posts you want to reblog but are afraid you might spam the whole dash of your followers, you can tap on "Schedule" at the bottom:
Tumblr media
And it'll give you options when to reblog a post. You can pick the date and the time and fan out the posts you want to reblog. That way you won't lose the posts you found and you won't reblog in bulk at the same moment. It's honestly really useful. I tend to forget stuff and then not find it again, so I either schedule the posts or put them in my drafts to reblog later.
You might think "what followers, I have no followers yet" Well, if you continue to have a blank blog, no one will even consider following you since there is nothing you ever reblog. Would you voluntarily want to stare at a shut off tv for hours? I don't think so.
Tumblr isn't like twitter (X) or instagram where a lot of people have this "follow for follow" mentality. People follow the blogs that look interesting and interaction between the posts you reblogged as well as those you might make in the future will grow.
Think about it this way: If everyone stopped reblogging, users dashboards will stay empty except for the wacky tumblr ads and blazed posts. There is no algorithm on tumblr, you see what you want to see by following the people who post and reblog what you like. By continuing that tradition you'll inspire other people to do the same and keep this website as well as fandoms alive. And that's honestly kinda cool, if you think about it, right?
Hope this helped anyone who needed some sort of direction 💕

Whoever the fuck that Sophie in Wonderland person is, is disgusting btw.
I don't care that she's pro-endo. Way too many people are and blocking exists if I don't agree with them in a way that we can't negotiate. It's her paranoia inducing post for the pro-endo community, about taking everything away from us systems, and her responses to people. One of her, apparently, many controversies.
I am anti-endo myself, for a variety of reasons including common fucking sense. And the way she is acting and typing, makes me worried.
On one ask from someone about the post, she says these things(under the cut, in case someone gets triggered. Could be similarly paranoia inducing as her original post.)
"I imagine it is. Especially when anti-endos have done their best to sharpen and hone the exact fears I'm targeting so they could control their followers."
"I don't like the word threatening. It implies a lack of follow-through."
"What I'm promising is an international plural wave. That I do my part to spread awareness of plurality to others who will spread it to others and so on and so on."
"And slowly but surely, this wave will turn the vast majority of anti-endos pro-endo. And that yes, anti-endos who cling to hatred as acceptance prevails will lose their spaces and the people they care about because a tolerant society won't tolerate their hate."
"It's a long, arduous process to get there. But get there we will. The only consolation for anti-endos is that they have time to choose to be better people before we get there."
Look, I do research on stuff because I'm a writer, a lot of my headmates help me with that too. We are also a RAMCOA survivor with firsthand experience of this. So it doesn't seem out of the ordinary in my mind when I say that this sounds like a fucking cult in the making. Some plurality "acceptance" cult of some kind, as she apparently plans on following through and making people aware of "plural rights" through mainstream media, and converting anti-endos into pro-endos. And the people that "hate" endos are going to turn out to be awful, bigoted people. It sounds like brainwashing, converting, and believing.
If endos can stay in their lane, that'd be wonderful. I don't care that you exist, I block and move on and try not to incite discourse on it because I know my stance and it isn't changing anytime soon. But stay the fuck out of systempunk. Stay out of system tags. Stay in your lane. Because that's your biggest example right now, endos. That's the major person of your community, and people, mostly anti-endos that I see, are logically disgusted by her. I just drew these connections because I went doomscrolling upon hearing about her bullshit, and the quotes I pulled are from one post alone.
Sophie in Wonderland is not welcome here, and neither is her concept on the most debilitating part of my goddamn life. My disability is not your toy to toss around willy-nilly and assume it's for everyone. Nobody should want this. And anybody who would has a problem. Maybe not whatever pro-endos claim we call them. But it's sickening to think about. If I could choose to be a system or not, I would NOT be a system. Because why would you want this. Really. Why.

Are you a procrastinator? 👀
do you have any tips on how to get on the grind and actually do things?
how do you get along with people 🤯😀❓
you mentioned that there was a time where BEAST was mentally bad for you, how did you control it or get past it?
What's your biggest turn off?
What do you do when a friend or someone wrongs you?
no pressure ask btw!
only answer what u feel like answering and if u feel like it xD ♥️
I am actually procrastinating right now-
hello wakanai!! funny seeing you here on my main blog! i love your no pressure asks, but for future reference, this blog is preeeettty inactive, and i really need to revamp it into a directory for all the sideblogs i use. in the future, i'd prefer you send asks to @cousticks or @justified-or-just-obscene since those are the ones i post the most on!! there's more content on those ones anyway so it'd be more fun! i have a lot of blogs, i know. that's only three of like, six. tysm for following me on other blogs though its fun to have the little mutuals tag next to a name
anyway, asks!! a read more since, as usual, i rambled quite a bit <3
I am a huge procrastinator. its a problem. its gotten me into trouble before. but, lets talk about procrastination a bit, especially since there's usually a lot of guilt around it. sure, procrastination can just be procrastination, but not always! sometimes there's other things going on, be it having a hard time getting out of a fixation mindset, stress and anxiety freezing your brain to the point you can't work, a lack of understanding on a certain step making you not want to work on it, or just... being something that sucks for you being really difficult to work on or do. or just something that takes a lot of mental energy you don't actually have because you used it all just functioning as a person in your day-to-day life. all of these have happened to me, and i wrote them off as "procrastination" and got frustrated with myself, ultimately making the problem worse until panic took over and i got something done. sometimes if you're having trouble starting a project you need to take inventory of yourself and figure out where that road block is happening, and try to take care of yourself before you can take care of your assignments.
i guess tips to "actually do things" kind of follows from my procrastinator bit above, haha. as i said, sometimes you really need to take stock of yourself and allow yourself some grace. or find a kind of music that really pumps you up, or find a way to reward yourself. unfortunately the 'reward' bit requires the mental discipline to... not just skip straight to the reward instead of doing your tasks. it doesn't always work, but for at least smaller chore-like tasks, such as taking out the trash or doing dishes, i kind of mentally go "alright. we really need to do this thing. ready? three... two... one... up." and then just. get up. i experience a lot of what i consider "mental inertia." you know, objects at motion tend to stay in motion, objects at rest tend to stay at rest. the hardest part of starting anything is actually starting it. the hardest part of doing my chores is actually getting up to do them, but once i'm at it, i can usually accomplish more than i originally planned, because i'm already in motion so... might as well. as far as assignments, that's harder, especially when its things you have to sit down and do. don't underestimate the power of a small mental reset. get up, take a small walk around the room, go get a drink of water, use the restroom, take a deep breath, find one (1) song that pumps you up and stand in the middle of the room with your eyes closed and just listen to it for a second. don't do anything else. deep breath and breathe and listen to something you enjoy. you might be surprised at how much better you feel after doing a quick reset. or, if getting up and walking around isn't an option for you, open a new page or a new word document or google doc whatever it is. start doodling or writing or typing stream-of-consciousness style. whatever comes into your head. just things like "alright. lets get some words going. lets do this assignment. lets go. words. we can do this. i know how to do this assignment, even if i'm not doing it yet." blah blah blah. just get yourself moving and writing some words, even if they're nonsense. its okay. that will help get over the inertia hurdle and slowly focus your mind back onto your task. i can't promise any of this helps, but its some tricks that worked in the past!! remember: you can't expect yourself to do anything when you're too stressed or exhausted to focus. let yourself rest to do your best.
its funny you think i know how to get along with people. if you ever figure that out, let me know lmao. but on a more serious note, getting along with people is generally having an open mind. and, oddly enough, expanding your interests or base knowledge on a lot of things so its easier to find common ground with someone. an odd example, but i used to work at a hotel and liked to chat with the guests. tangentially, this is when some of my car bro friends were really getting me into cars. eventually i knew enough to at least have a conversation on the topic, even if it wasn't super in-depth. funnily enough, having base knowledge on cars was able to help me carry conversations with old white guys that checked into the hotel, lmao. point being, the more you know and the more you're open to learning, the easier it is to find common ground with people, be it information or experiences. and the more people you meet and have conversations with, the easier it is. if there's one thing working retail since i was a teenager has taught me, its that eventually you'll develop scripts for things. even normal small-talk conversations, you'll have built-in responses. knowing about clothes, i can comment something nice about someone's outfit, then follow the conversation with more specific information like "oh yeah, i saw a pattern kind of like that at x store, i thought about buying it in a different color for a while! glad to see you living my sweater dreams, haha." that's a kind of quirky example, but i hope you get the gist. just... remember that people exist, and have experiences. my default first question with new people is always about their favorite music or artists, because that's something i know a lot about. you can learn a lot about people from their favorite tunes.
i won't get too in detail about it, but the Beast novel was really bad for me for a while because i have those cool and fun mental problems that give me unhealthy attachments to fiction, especially when i'm in a bad place mentally. i eventually realized i was engaging with fiction in an unhealthy way, and i just... cut myself off. i had to do my best to avoid beast content, eventually to the point i had to avoid anything bsd at all for almost a year, just because i was engaging with fiction in a way that was actually really bad for me. i had to make new social media accounts so i had clean algorithms that didn't show me content, i had to stop listening to music i associated with characters, it was a full hard stop on everything. it took a lot of self-awareness that i wasn't used to having. this was because of some life circumstances, though. i had to remove myself from the real-life circumstances that were putting me in a bad spot before i could really trust myself to engage with any of my fixations again without messing myself up. Beast happened to be the worst for me because its also such an unhappy media to begin with, and i project heavily onto Chuuya, who... y'know, doesn't exactly get a great ending. I'm doing fine now, but there was a time a lot of factors came together to mess me up and i had to remove all of it before i could be alright enough to engage with the things i enjoy.
Honestly, I'm not sure what puts me off people the most. If the vibes someone has are rancid, I avoid them. Generally, blaming others for things they aren't responsible for is a big problem for me. Sure, call people out for things they've actually done, but calling people liars or whatever for shit they haven't actually done or are out of their control but you're just assuming is their fault? That's a goddamn problem. Or people who just kind of... assume the world is out to get them all the time, I guess. Who assume the worst of people at first glance. Everyone is out here just living their lives. Don't take other people's problems personally. Its not about you.
Unfortunately for myself, I usually ignore it or brush it off when someone I consider a friend does something wrong towards me. I don't recommend it. At least, until it builds up bad enough I start to hate them and then I just ghost people. Again, not exactly a good plan nor is it healthy. What you should do is communicate boundaries and cut off anyone who jumps all over those boundaries like its a trampoline park. That's the healthy way to go about it. I'm not exactly the healthiest person, though. Don't take me as an example on how to handle people doing you wrong.

Hi sorry asking anonymously because I'm super embarrassed but how do you have conversations with people on this site? How do you interact with people?
Well okay I've had various different blogs on here over the years so I've done the whole "aggregating mutuals" thing from scratch multiple times and honestly it all just comes down to not being afraid to chat with people directly I think. The best thing to do is really just find blogs that have things in common with you and ideally are already kind of "chatty" (as in making personal/conversational text posts relatively frequently, writing thoughts and opinions in the tags of posts they reblog) and then...chatting with them. Reply to their posts in a friendly way or comment on their tags when you reblog the same post from them. You can also send them asks directly with a thought or question or compliment or something but that feels a little more pushy imo lmfao. Not inherently bad, it's just that I think most people who have been here for a while are used to getting random asks from strangers that are alarming or unpleasant so seeing a notification in your ask box can be foreboding 💀 And idk talking in replies/tags just feels more casual to me. Inside voice. An ask is kind of like someone coming up to you and sticking a microphone in your face and less like actually speaking to someone on equal terms.
There aren't hard rules or anything tho and if you're on here long enough you'll probably get used to um. The "etiquette." Which isn't even universal in the first place lmao. The only things I would avoid are like. Reblogging someone's post and commenting directly on the post itself unless you're already friends (very alarming. Who are you and why are you stealing my post.) and just generally acting overly familiar but that obviously goes for real life too. Don't expect most people to follow you back instantly either btw and it's not like an insult if they don't. It just depends on the person? Some people will see a blog with similar interests who seems normal and just follow back instantly regardless of whether you've ever spoken directly, and some people might wait until you've interacted with them a few times before they consider following back, and some people may just never follow you back if they're not interested in what you're posting. It's not about you personally 😭 And some people have a looooot of followers already and therefore a looooot of people trying to interact with them, and so you might just get lost in the crowd. Some people also have been here long enough and had enough bad experiences that they just never follow new people, or even block new people who try to follow them. Just remember none of it is personal 👍 They don't know you any more than you know them. Be normal and kind and you will survive 💖

time for a new pinned post
yo. I'm a drizzile. I think. I apparently used to be a human, but all I have to prove that is this diary thing that only vaguely hints at it being mine. you can read it here
im bisexual and use any pronouns btw. also I'm a minor and nsfw accounts (as well as people with "minors dni" in their bio) will be blocked (despite that warning in my bio that I may occasionally post mentions of nsfw stuff)
ooc stuff under the cut
hello again!! my name is drizzile (or is it??? the world may never know.) but I also go by sig sometimes (only if you knew me from twitter)
I will be differentiating between Drizzile, the character, and drizzile the pokemon species by capitalizing the d
as stated in the in-character part of the pinned, I'm bisexual and a minor, and I use any pronouns. you can find a more detailed explanation of myself here. the lore for Drizzile isn't actually all that clear yet, since I've only just started writing it lol. just assume they've gotten out of the mystery dungeon universe (called the "Mystery World" in the universe they're from) by now
also I will tag ooc stuff as #not drizzile (with the exception being this post)
I may forget to tag ooc stuff sometimes so sorry in advance

7 and 12?
7. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them?
This one may be obvious, it's Punk. I don't have the history with him that others do as I missed everything wrestling related from 2000 until 2022, so I only have his AEW run to base things on, and he was/is.... adequate. I wasn't impressed with him or the Elite after Brawl Out, but then seeing the behaviour of Punk fans on here (trolling the Elite tags to screenshot posts that were NOTHING to do with Punk and gloating, being blocked for not liking Punk "enough" etc), and then the horrendous homophobia and misogyny of Punk fans on Twitter - it completely turned me off him as a person and a wrestler.
This isn't all Punk fans btw. There are some absolutely lovely ones on both platforms, but the loudest are the absolute dregs. And the language they use made me really nervous about going to live wrestling wearing a Bucks shirt because I was worried about people being vile. It never happened, every live show I've been to, people have been super, but gods I was fretting.
12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them
I've been going over and over and over this. I don't think I like anyone that people view as unpopular. When I first got into wrestling, I adored Piper and the Rockers. Neither of which were unpopular, but you couldn't get any merch for them in the UK in the early 90s.
Now I like the Elite, and Tumblr has introduced me to so many other wrestlers from all over. I do find it amusing when the WhatCulture boys go "People don't really like Wheeler" for example, and I'm here going "Oh my sweet summer children, how little you know" 🤣🤣
In other media, I adore John Hart (Torchwood - Johnto my beloved ship), Gloomcookie (until it went a bit weird), and Delirium is my favourite of the Endless. So those are lesser characters in popular works, but unpopular.....sadly I cannot think of any I'm afraid 😔
