I have this pair of boots that I wear a lot that both my mother and my sister insist I don't know how to walk in and they just watch me every time they see me wear them and wait for me to fall or lose balance for any reason at all to try and use it as proof but as the person who wears the boots all the fucking time and sees these people like twice a year and has had these boots for the last like four years now I can confirm that I don't fall or lose my balance wearing them any more than I fall not wearing them and I feel like my mom and my sister maybe just don't like them and don't want to either tell me that or accept that everyone isn't going to live and dress based on other people's preferences
#my post#i'm not joking though they'll like watch me when i wear them and wait for me to fall for a totally unrelated reason#and know it wasn't related because they saw it with their own eyes#and still use it as proof that i don't know how to walk in them and shouldn't have them#and these are the same people who have seen me run in heels so why are you saying i can't handle platform boots#that i've worn for four years now#just because i tripped over a dog who got too excited to see me and got right up under my feet as i walked into someone's apartment#or because a couple halloweens ago we went to an overcrowded neighborhood to take my nephew trick or treating#and a grown man deliberately pushed me hard enough to knock me over because i wasn't moving fast enough through a large crowd of people#like it's okay to just tell me they're ugly#i'm not gonna take your advice because we have different styles and i feel like we should respect that about each other#but you can tell me still

PROLOGUE | THE PARTY & THE AFTER PARTY
Jenna Ortega x G!P Reader
series masterlist | main masterlist | next chapter
"You should come." You hear Jack say over the phone, you lean back into the couch, placing your feet on top of your coffee table. "I don't know, Jack. I think your famous friends wouldn't like that,"
Jack sighs. "Dude, come on. Don't be like that." Now it's your turn to sigh, you sit up from the couch before standing up, walking into the kitchen. "They'll love you, maybe you could even sing for them." You can't help but chuckle.
"Yeah. Immediately no." He laughs, but as soon as it dies down, he's back to convincing you.
"Y/N. It's just a party. Please, one night. One night is all I ask from my best friend." You playfully roll your eyes, "Don't play the best friend card on me." You jump up onto the counter, swinging your feet.
"I'm so so sad! Y/N! My own best friend, won't come to a party with me to celebrate my new movie release." You laugh, shaking your head.
"Am I even allowed?" Jack nods his head even though you can't see it. "Of course. There's a guest list and I put your name."
Your mouth opens in shock, "Wait." He hums playfully, a cheeky smile on his face. "You put me on the guest list before you even asked me?" You ask, and be hums again. "Yep. You basically have to come now."
"You know what," Jack's smile widens in anticipation, "I'll come." He jumps up from his chair, earning a few looks. "Yes!" You laugh at his reaction before hopping off the kitchen counter.
"I'll pick you up at," You lean back into the counter as Jack checks his watch on the other side of the phone, "Nine." You push yourself off the counter, "Okay."
"Great! I gotta go now, but I'll see you tomorrow." You look at the time prompted on your stove, reading 10:47. "Alright Jack, see you tomorrow.
He mumbles a goodbye before hanging up the phone. You stand in the middle of your kitchen as you're finally processing that you agreed to go out with Jack and his famous friends.
"What the fuck did I just get myself into," You mumble to yourself, walking back into the living room.
Before you knew it, it was time for Jack to pick you up. You were waiting outside your apartment building, a cigarette dangling from the corner of your mouth as you pat yourself down looking for your lighter.
After the first pat down, you try again, and then again, but after a while, you stop. Accepting defeat that you left your lighter inside your apartment.
You take the cigarette out of your mouth, throwing it on the ground. "Maybe it's a sign I need to quit," You mutter to yourself.
There's a black SUV that pulls up in front of you, and quickly the window is rolled down revealing your childhood friend. "What the hell are you wearing!" Jack shouts over Taylor Swift blasting in the truck.
You look down at your outfit and then back at Jack, "What's wrong with my outfit?" Jack raises his eyebrows, and you watch his eyes look you up and down before looking back into your eyes.
His eyebrows drop and a smile is prominent on his face, "I'm just joking!" He laughs causing you to roll your eyes. "Get in!"
You look at the cigarette one more time before making your way inside the SUV. Jack scoots over, giving you some room to sit before holding out his hand. You smile doing your signature handshake, it wasn't anything special, but it meant a lot to the two of you.
As soon as the two of you are buckled up, the driver pulls off. You grimace, "Can we at least play some different music?"
"Of course not," Jack says, smiling at you playfully. You can't help but smile back, turning your head towards the window to hide it.
When you arrived, your eyes immediately began to water from all the flashes. You couldn't understand how Jack could deal with it, but as long as he's happy. A buff man opens the door for you, and you step out, waiting for Jack before going any further.
Jack sends you a slight smile, wrapping an arm around your shoulder as both of you cover your eyes from the flashes.
You hear Jack's name shouted a bunch of times followed by questions.
"Jack! Jack! Can you look this way?"
"Jack, who are you here with?"
"Jack! Is this your girlfriend?"
You can't help but snicker, leaning your head toward his ear. "Now that's funny." Jack chuckles, leaning towards your ear now, "Are we, not boyfriend and girlfriend?"
Your smile increases, and your hand is rested on his back, as the two of you are finally inside the building. Your ears are filled with the loud chatting that fills the room along with a song you're unfamiliar with, the bass blasting off of the room's walls.
When Jack meant party, he really meant a party. It was crowded, and you could barely see the floor of how many feet were covering it.
Jack's arm is off your shoulder, but his hand soon replaces it. "Let's go say hello to my famous friends." He teases, you shake your head, following behind the curly-haired boy. Every now and then your eyes would search the room, looking for what exactly? You didn't know.
You guys stop once you're near the back of the building, near a bunch of booths.
"Hey guys," Jack lightly shouts, gaining attention from his group of friends. You knew who they were, of course, they were celebrities. They just didn't know who you were.
"This is my friend, Y/N." You send the group a smile and a slight wave, their eyes leave Jack before landing on you. They smile back, and some of them wave back.
"Oh! Hey," Mason speaks up, "I'm Mason," He introduces, pointing at himself. "This is Melissa, Jasmin, Liana, and..." He points to each of them, then starts looking around for someone. "She's not here yet, but, yeah! It's nice to meet you.
"Likewise," You say, scratching your nose. It's something you did when you felt awkward, and this was extremely awkward for you. But introductions are always awkward, right?
"I love your outfit by the way," You hear Jasmin say, you smile before nudging Jack, "This guy here didn't." Jasmin's jaw drops playfully, as a loud gasp comes from her mouth. "Jack!" She teasingly shouts at him.
"It's okay, Jack has no sense of style when his stylist is gone," Liana speaks up sending you a jokingly wink, you chuckle and see Jack hold his chest in a fake hurt. "What is it? Bully Jack Day?" You pat his back, "It's always bully Jack day.
Everyone laughs, and Jack goes to sit down, plopping down right beside Mason. Melissa scoots over, patting down beside her. "Here, sweetheart. You can sit right here," You try and ignore the faint blush that appears on your cheek from the pet name.
"So," You turn to the left of you being met with Liana. "How'd you meet Jack," She asks, taking a sip of her drink. "We're actually childhood friends." Melissa and Liana nod, listening. "We met in... I think it was gym class. Freshman year too."
"Aww," Melissa coos. "I can kinda see it now," Liana laughs a bit, nodding her head again at Melissa's words. "Right! Lil' freshman Jack."
The three of you fall into a conversation, most of it being about you as they wanted to get to know you better. You felt bad earlier, judging Jack's friends only because they were famous. They were actually sweet people who made you feel like you belonged in under five minutes, and not only were they nice, they were funny as well.
"Excuse me," You say, excusing yourself from the conversation. "I'll be right back." Melissa and Liana mutter out an okay, sending you a small smile.
You weren't going to lie, you were in a desperate need of a smoke. Right about now you were wishing you didn't throw away your cigarette or you wished you had quickly run inside your apartment to get your lighter before Jack arrived.
You walk over to the bar, standing there waiting for the bartender to be done with his current customer before coming to you. "What can I get you?" He asks, drying his hands off with a white cloth. "Uh," You scratch your nose, "Do you have a smoke and a light?"
The bartender raises his eyebrows, "A smoke and a light." You're about to speak up until he reaches in his back pocket, "Today's your lucky day." He hands you a pack and a lighter, and you thankfully take it. "Don't worry about returning it. I'm trying to quit."
"Me too," You mumble to yourself. "Thank you," You say, raising the items in your hand, he nods, and you're now walking towards the back exit.
Now you're back in the same position as earlier, a cigarette dangling from but this time with a light. You didn't exactly know when your addiction started. You only remember every other week you're back in the gas station, buying a pack of cigarettes.
Of course, you've tried to stop, you tried chewing gum, or you've tried cigars instead, but you could never really stay consistent or committed.
But commitment has always been a problem in your life, rather it is with giving up smoking, picking up a hobby, or staying in a relationship.
You took a drag of your cigarette, calming yourself down, as you lay back against the brick wall. You wondered if they were wondering where you were. Or, maybe just Jack. This isn't the first time Jack has invited you to hang out with more of his famous friends, he'd actually invited you on set when he was filming the new Avatar. Where you'd met Zoe Saldana and you swore you fell in love with her the second your eyes met.
You weren't one of those people who go crazy when they see celebrities because you lived in LA, there had been many times you'd seen famous people. Whether it be at work, walking down the street, or again, with Jack.
But wow, was Zoe Saldana way more beautiful in
person.
"You know those are bad for you, right?" A teasing voice says, you turn your head confused and slightly shocked at the sudden voice.
A cloud of smoke leaves your mouth as your eyes fall on her, her being Jenna Ortega. You'd have to be living under a rock if you didn't know who Jenna Ortega was.
You'd first seen her as your cousin had been watching that one show on Disney channel, and then you had seen her again recently due to the show You on Netflix, which was when you officially knew her name.
The first thing you noticed was her perfect smile, and the teasing smirk that played on her pink plum lips. Then you noticed her freckles that spread across her face like some sort of puzzle.
You met her dark brown doe-eyes. And it felt like you couldn't look away, her eyes were so... addicting. If you looked any longer you'd believe they'd become even more addicting than your cigarettes.
"Yeah," You mutter. "Hard to quit though." She nods at your words, "Have you actually tried, or did you make poor attempts and say that you did?"
You eye her, not saying anything. You speak again when you take the cigarette out of your mouth, throw it out, and step on it.
"The second part." She laughs, staring deep into your eyes. You don't scratch your nose, instead, you run your tongue around your teeth, fighting back a smile. "Why are you back here anyway?"
"What? A lady can't catch a breather." She half-jokes, and you nod your head, remaining in eye contact. "Without security?" You add, she breaks the eye contact, pushing a strand of hair out of her face.
"Ah," She starts, "I thought we were about to have a fun conversation without you bringing something up about me being famous."
"Who says non-famous women can't have security," You shrug causing Jenna to smile. You'd never get sick of seeing that, "Then where's your security then?"
"Got me there," You laugh together. "So, what exactly are you doing here," You ask, lifting yourself up from the wall, Jenna has to look up, now that you're fully standing up.
"You're very curious about why I'm back here, huh?" You smile, nodding your head with a slight tilt at the end. "There are too many paps at the front, so I came back here. And then I saw this mysterious girl leaning against the wall smoking a cigarette, like she was straight out of a cowboy western." She finishes off with a smile.
You laugh again, and Jenna can't help but smile, watching the way your eyes slightly close, or the way your dimples appear. Her heart flutters and there are suddenly butterflies in her stomach.
"A cowboy western, wow..." You drag out, and begin laughing again, Jenna joins in, placing a hand on her stomach, and the other on your arm. But this doesn't catch you by surprise, it feels nice. You also don't miss the way your body warms up from the slight touch.
"You're pretty funny, Ortega."
"I know." You playfully roll your eyes, a slight smile on both of your faces. "But, I believe I've overstayed my welcome with all the celebrities."
Jenna's smile dies now, noticing you're about to leave. "You're not going back inside?" She asks hopefully, she wanted to get to know you better, and she also wants to see that laugh of yours she began to become familiar with.
"Nah," You shake your head. "Tell Jack I said goodbye though." She furrows her eyebrows, who was Jack? Before she could ask your name, or who the hell was Jack, you were walking away, holding up a peace sign.
Jenna feels her phone vibrate in her purse, she takes it out, seeing a message from Jack Champion. And then it clicks, there's no way you meant Jack, Jack, right?

hey jen
we're in the back btw
didn't want u to get lost 😉
okay
thanks 4 telling me
ofc
Jenna sighs to herself, walking inside the building. She says who few hellos as she passed by people she knows, until she makes it to the rest of the group.
"Jenna!!!" Melissa yells, standing up smiling as she brings the brunette into a tight hug. Everyone else stands up, greeting Jenna, and the last one being Jack.
"Hey Jen," He greets, smiling. They hug before Jenna furrows her eyebrows, not wanting to confuse Jack as she was already confused herself.
"Someone wanted me to say goodbye for you?" She tells, though it sounds more like a question.
Jack raises an eyebrows before realization hits him, "What'd they look like?"
"Uhh, tattoos? Tall..." It takes everything in Jenna to not mention your alluring lips, your heavenly laugh that she could listen to for hours, or your elegant eyebrows that were perfectly placed above your engaging eyes.
"That sneaky bastard." Jack mutters to himself.

hello all
welcome back the kristy thomas autism analysis, where i'm rewatching the show and writing down her autistic traits as i see em (as well as noting any neurodiverse traits in the other girls). here's part 1 and part 2 if you haven't seen em.
without further ado, let's get into this
Episode 3
more of kristy hyperfixating on business and the club in general, reading the frickin art of war simply to find a way to beat the competition
not picking up that she should absolutely wait until her client's given birth before calling/texting her. lack of social tact
throughout the show, she doesn't really care what others think of her, with the exception of her friends, and even then she doesn't change herself much for them with the exception of if it's hurting themm. kristy shows zero embarassment parading around town in cardboard sandwiches
the most confrontational to the baby-sitter's agency of all the girls: strong sense of justice and not afraid to correct anyone if she thinks they're in the wrong, even if they're much older
more odd sitting, which as mentioned in part 2 is prevalent in autistics due to our need for proprioceptive input
not understanding that her joke of "or your blood pressure's dropping?" could be taken the wrong way
additional notes:
mary anne's "and actress halle berry." we often consume random trivia about our hyperfixations in the craving to basically wring out every bit of dopamine it gives us, which can include tidbits about actors. also, not realizing that it's odd to say in this situation, and justifying it with "what? she does!"
"we have to do the most responsible thing of all." "vacuum." this one is pure vibes. it Feels autistic. if i had to give a reason i'd say she thinks of it as a sign of responsibility due to the loud noise autistics will usually be more sensitive to and the fact that it's cleaning, which is generally a responsible thing to do, so it's doubly responsible because it means you did it even though you're sensitive to the noise?
not very much, so i'll do a special 3+4 mix just to make this one a bit longer :D
Episode 4
kristy doesn't tell mary anne conventionally that she's upset with her. instead of speaking to her like stacey and claudia do to express their upset with mary anne, she tells her that she's really upset with her by spending time sitting at tables apart from her. mary anne even thinks "if she's sitting with them, she must be mad." all this is to say that kristy is not very verbal when it comes to genuine upset with mary anne, and mary anne has learnt to recognize it
even though she is upset with mary anne, kristy still watches her when she talks to dawn because mary anne's her closest friend and the only one who truly understands who kristy is, both because of how close they grew up and because she is also autistic, and kristy doesn't want to lose that because it's hard for people to understand you when you're autistic.
not to keep bringing up the clothes but in comparison to the other three kristy wears much softer and more comfortable clothing, which again, can be a result of sensory issues that make wearing anything else from uncomfortable to downright painful
additional notes:
this is a mary anne centric episode, so we get a TON more of her autistic traits in general. this episode really resonated w me the first time i watched because damn i'm so much like her FHRHJFJ. anyways: she exhibits social anxiety, which happens to co-occur a lot with autism. "talking to people i know makes me feel like my stomach is falling out of my nose. so does talking to people i do knows sometimes. i think i'm just bad at talking." autistics tend to struggle with the unwritten social rules of society, and not knowing them can make conversations extremely stressful, especially if you're already not that self-confident. even with people you know, it can feel like you're "performing" for them, and that if you make one wrong step they'll make fun of you, and worst of all, all of it feels like your fault for not being competent enough—this is what i think happens with mary anne.
autistics (& adhders) tend to wayyy overapologize, even when others tell them not to, because we often feel like everything we've done is wrong and we apologize a lot to almost make up for that. it's nearly worse when you've actually done something wrong, because it doesn't feel like you can make up for what you did due to rejection sensitive dysphoria making you feel like a horrible person but also it can take away the weight because you say it so much.
mary anne cries twice in the episode without wanting to—not because she's ashamed of crying, but just because she knows internally that there's no reason to be crying. even when she's just talking more passionately she just cries, and she doesn't know how to stop it because she doesn't even feel like crying, it's just Happening. i couldn't find any research on this because it tends to just focus on how to parent uncontrollably sobbing autistic kids, but it's happened with me more times than i can count, where i'm not even feeling emotional but i'll just cry when speaking, seemingly for no reason. idk if that's part of the autism or just me but i'm including it anyways
also, running away from stressful situations is an autism thing, especially if you're embarrassed and overwhelmed
her dad is so autistic. he writes down when he has leisure time. come on yall. nobody allistic does that. also, infodumping about things he likes: in this case, a jerusalem artichoke: his niche seems to be more related to foods!!
"sorry, i have to work with sounding less obssessed." despite just being excited to make a new friend, she feels like she has to apologize for that. many autistics tone is misread for a myriad of reasons, which makes them feel the need to apologize for it because they've been taught it's wrong.

pegasus moon, year xx.
[ FIRST CORRESPONDENCE W. KINGDOM OF BRODIA. ]
To my beloved,
I want to start this letter off by simply saying: I love you.
I haven't said that in a long time, apparently. I'm sorry it's taken me so much time to get around to it, but I'll admit: I've been afraid. I've learned a lot about the circumstances surrounding what happened to me and what happened to Elyos afterward; I was a fool, and it cost my life and the lives of thousands more. I feel as though I've stolen someone else's second shot at life.
But I'm here, much as I feel like I shouldn't be. I've met up with both Alcryst and Diamant; they reacted about as well as you'd expect. Which was pretty badly. But I think I've smoothed it over well enough with them. And wouldn't you believe it, I've got a job at the fancy new school they're attending. I'm an axe, sword, and authority instructor---Dragons, if you saw the amount of tests I have to grade every other week, you'd cry. I know I almost have.
When this letter reaches the mailroom, I'll be surprised if the staff don't think it's a bunch of hooey and rip the letter open to read it. If that's the case, then, well. Hi there, folks.Sorry, off-topic.
I'm sure the boys have written to you about the school, so I won't waste paper explaining things you already know. There was a ball here recently, and I got to meet up with a lot of people I'd never seen before. Let me tell you, they've got some real cases at this school; don't think I've ever laughed so hard in one night. Except maybe on our honeymoon after that new kid waiter shot the champagne cork right in my eye. Dragons, the look on his face. Poor thing.
A lot of stuff happened at that ball, and talking about all of it will probably make my hand cramp like a beast. So I'll put it in a bullet point list:
Got punched (it was consensual)
Met a kid probably Alcryst's age who was as decorated as a winter festival tree
Was given pomegranate seeds by a little girl who I think was part chipmunk(??)
Had my first drink with Alcryst
Watched the prince of Solm start a spaghetti war
Spooked Alcryst's retainer Lapis (I still feel real bad about this one but I made it up to her later)
And there's other stuff that I'm probably forgetting. My memory's never been good at keeping anything that doesn't involve hitting swords together or my family, but you know that.
After the ball ended, I decided to take up dancing. It was pretty popular with the other attendees; I think the first class I went to had so many people there were folks waiting outside the door. I know we're already classically trained, so I didn't need to go take a class, but I sort of just wanted to go meet other people. It was hard as hell, too---the instructor was no joke. I'm pretty sure I fell over at least ten times and shook the room each time.
There's a special outfit they made for the dancers around here. It's supposed to help with movement and all that. I've had a peek at it and boy, it sure is something. They said they'll make one custom for me, but since I'm bigger than their usual clients it'll take a bit longer for them to have it out for me. I think the kids will be horrified when they see their father in this thing, so I'm quite honestly doing it so I can see their faces. They need to confront their fears if they want to do well in battle; this may or may not include seeing their father wearing skimpy outfits and busting a move with a frightful amount of leg.
Dragons, I miss you so much. I miss being able to sit with you and talk about nothing for hours. I miss laying with you in bed and having those little competitions on who will fall asleep first (if the running tally's still correct, then I'm up three nights). I miss just being with you. But I can't come back to Brodia right now, and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to. I can't throw the country into whatever disaster my being alive will cause. She's in Diamant's hands now, and I intend to let it stay that way.
I'm proud of Alcryst and Diamant. They've been through so much as I'm sure you have, and yet they're here, working on themselves and meeting new people. They're such strong kids. Seeing their eyes fill with all sorts of horrible emotions when they first saw me shook me something serious. I'm such a terrible father for what I've made them do.
One day, I want to see you again. I want to feel your hand in mine. I want to kiss your cheek, and I want to hug you, and I want to hold you until eons pass, the world explodes, and we're the only two people floating around in whatever debris is left. ( aside from the kids, they'll be there too. they can float with us. ) Life doesn't feel right without you, and while I'm thankful every day to the Dragons above that you survived the hell that took Elyos, I'm about ready to curse them out for the circumstances that keep me from running back to Brodia and kissing you until my mouth goes numb.
Maybe we can meet up at a halfway point.
Enclosed in this letter are images taken with the monastery's new-fangled instant portrait-capturing device, invented by one of the alumni. I'm not sure how they managed it, but it lets you capture portraits in about three-or-so seconds, and they're as perfect as if you hired an artist to do them. Boy, that would have been nice when Alcryst and Diamant were squirts.
This may not be all the proof you'll need to believe me, but I want to try anyways. It breaks my heart knowing I'm here, you're there, and I can't do anything to change it. I just hope you're safe, at least.
I'm on patrol duty tonight, so I have to go scan the halls for misbehaving students and whatever idiots decide to raid a heavily-weaponized military academy. It's not great work, but I at least get to chat with some people I don't normally see in the daytime. Night owls and all that. This monastery really is something; I think you'd like it here.
I'll write to you again soon. I want these to become regular so that I don't fall out of contact or keep you in the dark anymore. There's a lot I need to work through and a lot I still need to understand, but I at least want you to know what happens to me when it does. As my wife, you deserve that much.
I love you, my darling. You'll hear from me again soon. Please be well.
Signed,
Morion, Professor of Axe, Sword, and Authority at the Officers Academy

About me
Thanks @littledreamling for the tag
Nickname: Usually Breezy! My first name is a place name, so some of my friends call me by other place names (but more commonly acquaintances who think they are funnier than they are 🙄)
Sign: Sagittarius sun, Taurus moon, Aquarius rising. I hope that doesn't give away all my secrets
Height: 5'7 or 170cm!
Last thing I googled: "Wilfred Owen Letter to Wife poem". It's actually called "The Letter"
Song stuck in my head: I don't have one at the moment which I'm grateful for because I have a headache which feels like someone is trying to lobotomise me through my left eye. (I've taken some painkillers so I'm just being dramatic until they kick in)
Followers: 138! Thanks to everyone for politely waiting out the Goncharov phase
Amount of sleep: I regularly get 9-10 hours of sleep because otherwise I feel so bad 😥 I am envious of people who need less because for me 8 hours and 4 hours feel the same 🤢
Dream job: probably also a professor, like Crow! I'd love to be able to do research on things I'm interested in (it's always gay nuns, but recently it's also polygyny within medieval Jewish communities), and chat with colleagues about theirs, and write articles, and make lots of powerpoint presentations (I love them because I can even script in my jokes), and see what the younger generation are interested in when it comes to history! However, as we have established I am a very tired person, so I'm not sure how well I would cope with the expectation of out of hours work.
Wearing: Blue silk pyjama bottoms decorated with little white vines and flowers, brown walking socks, and a long fluffy hooded! dressing gown which I would probably call maroon or burgundy. Don't judge me for this (or do, I deserve it). For the more wattpad experience we can also say that I have thrown my long brown hair into a messy bun.
Books/movies that summarise me: I could ask my friends, or I could just insert a picture of the DSM-V here because that's what they'll all send me
Favourite song: I don't have favourite anythings to be honest, but my most played song this year (at a whopping 22 times) was Zitti e Buoni by Måneskin. Lyric-wise I'm still obsessed with Tongues & Teeth by The Crane Wives, specifically "I know that you mean so well, but I am not a vessel for your good intent".
Favourite instrument: I've played clarinet, recorder, guitar, and keyboard, none of which I had any talent for 😂
Aesthetic: I've been told so many things about how I dress so I'll try to keep it brief. I own an eclectic collection of dresses (probably 60+) and tend to favour colourful patterns for daily wear and single colour grecian-style drapes for formal events. I likewise own lot of colourful patterned tops (described by my friends as "pretty", "flattering", "interesting", and "like you took it from your mum's wardrobe" (she gave it to me)) which I wear with jeans. That said, I can most commonly be found in my "grandad" looks of a men's shirt open over a vest or buttoned to the bare minimum of decency, or one of my two favourite golf jumpers (one grey, one beige).
Favourite authors: I don't have favourite authors of books (though I definitely do for fanfiction), but I do want to read more Margaret Atwood because I've only read The Handmaid's Tale and that one quote from The Robber Bride that lives rent free in my head.
Random fun fact: I managed to get super glue in my mouth when I was decorating a christmas bauble with watch parts last night! Very on brand, I'm notoriously clumsy. I also only managed to super glue two of my fingers together, so that is a new record

a/n: Happy holidays everyone! So we decided to do some seasonal fics for our favorite timeline anomaly causing deviants. We have a couple of Christmas ones coming soon, but for now... Happy Hanukkah my dear mutuals and readers.
(Masterlist)
"My dad is very excited to celebrate with us, he hasn't done this in a really long time so please just... don't do anything stupid," Lydia asked, handing each of them a blue kippah. "And keep these on."
"As if we ever do stupid stuff..." Nate scoffed.
“D’yeh put this on your head? How d’yeh keep ‘em on?” Nats asked, turning the kippah over in his hands.
"Yeah, let me do it," she grabbed a couple of hairpins to keep them in place with all the curls. "You're gonna like it, it's exciting, and the food is amazing."
“I’m so excited,” Win exclaimed.
“And hungry,” Nats added, grinning as he bowed his head for Lyds to affix his kippah.
"Of course you're hungry, like always," Lydia laughed, pinching his cheek. "But I'm excited too, It's been ages since I've been there... you all look amazing."
“She's right, you look rather handsome,” Winnie murmured, looking Nate up and down as she took his arm. She was wearing a surprisingly modest outfit for the synagogue.
"You two are still hot, even with all the coverage," he tugged at her blouse to look at her chest. "No bra! Oh, I like that..."
“Hands off,” she hissed, smacking his hand away, though she wore an impish grin.
"What? It's alright, you're my wife!" He tried not to laugh. "It's not wrong t'do this, I'm just checkin' on the goods."
"They'll still be there when we get home," Win laughed.
“Is there anythin’ important we should know?” Nats asked, gingerly touching the top of his head as he straightened to make sure the skull cap wouldn’t come off.
"Hmm no, it's pretty simple. We'll just watch the service, light the candles and enjoy the party," Lydia took his hand as they headed to the door. "Dad asked us to meet them there."
"C'mon, let's go meet mum and dad," Nats exclaimed, pulling Lydia along with him.
The walk to the synagogue would be a little longer, so they decided to take the car, which ended up being a fifteen minute drive.
"Shalom!" Charles held his arms open when the quad arrived. Simon and Alisha as well as Linda were already inside.
"Shalom!" Win exclaimed, hurrying to embrace her father-in-law. "It's so good t'see everyone."
"We missed you," Nate joined the hug, always happy to see him. "Thank you for invitin' us!"
"Of course! Are you kidding me?" He laughed.
"We're excited to celebrate with you," Nats exclaimed, slinging his arms around Charles. "Plus Lyds said there's gunna be some kick arse food later."
"Oh, I was sure that you'd be looking forward to that," he chuckled. "Yeah, I even made challah, lots of it."
"Daddy! I miss your challah so much..." Lydia groaned.
"I know, that's why there's a basket full of them at home, all for you guys."
"Shall we get inside?" Win suggested, eager to see what the synagogue looked like.
"This is where we separate," Lyddie gently kissed each of her husbands and took her wife's hand. The interior of the building was quite beautiful, grandiose but without being too flashy. "Women on this side, men on that side. We'll see you at dinner."
"Wait! We can't sit with you?" Nate frowned.
"So sorry, babe, it's tradition."
"Ha ha," Win joked, sticking her tongue out at them as she followed Lydia.
"That's okay, we get t'sit with dad," Nats said.
"And Barry! That's pretty nice, quality man time," Nate flexed his biceps dramatically. "It's been a while ey?"
"Some people say they do that to prevent people from being distracted, but you're so distracting to me..." Lyddie whispered in her wife's ear.
Win smirked at her words. “Don’t worry, I’ll try not t’be too distracting,” she teased as they took their seats with Linda and Alisha.
As Nats took his seat he glanced across the aisle to where his wives were seated and blew them a cheesy kiss.
"I'm sure you'll all be quite distracting later at dinner..." Lydia giggled quietly, pretending to catch her husband's kiss and bring it to her lips before drawing a heart in the air with her fingers.
"It's really impressive and kinda sickening how clingy you are still, after what? 10 years of marriage?" Simon smiled as Nate winked at his wives.
"What? You and Alisha are having issues?" Charles asked.
"Yeah, I guess you can say so, but not marriage issues."
“What kind of issues?” Nats asked, shifting his glance to Alisha.
"We've been planning for a baby, it's been years," Simon explained quietly. "Now that we're actually trying, we're not having any luck."
"Baby? Jesus, we're too young for that!" Nate yelped.
"Nathan, we're 33."
“Oh, right,” Nats mumbled. “When you’re immortal time kinda loses meanin’.”
"Don't worry, Si, it can take time," Charles murmured as the service began. "And you're still young, despite what you say. It'll work out."
Once the service began, Win listened raptly, holding Lydia’s hand. It had been many years since Lyddie had last been there, but it felt like she never left. The prayers were still deeply rooted in her brain and she found that comforting.
Nats, on the other hand, tried to pay attention, but his eyes kept slipping to the girls while his thoughts kept returning to what Simon had said. Would the girls ever want children?
After lighting up the candles, men and women were allowed to mix again for the party. There were kids running around and spinning dreidels, the teens were isolated mingling amongst themselves, and everyone else was talking, eating, and dancing.
"What's that face?" Lydia asked, noticing how distant Nats was.
"Hmm?" He asked, pulled from his thoughts. "Oh, just thinkin' bout somethin' Barry said, but it's not important," he added quickly.
"What? If it's bothering you, it's important. I know you," she insisted as she made his plate, getting him a bit of everything: kugel, brisket, latkes, challah...
"It's not really botherin' me," he shrugged, not really wanting to bring up children right at the moment. "Oh my God, this all looks amazin'," he groaned, changing the subject.
"Find us a table, I'll make Nate's and Winnie's plate so we can all sit together," Lyddie suggested, handing Nats a few chocolate coins. "Until then you can munch on the gelt."
"Looks like you were able t'survive the service without us," Win teased, running her hands over the collar of Nate's dress shirt.
"Barely! I nearly died," he cried, throwing himself into her arms. "I can't be away from my girls for too long."
"You poor thing, you," Win laughed, patting his back soothingly. "Well, you have us now."
"Really?" He tried to get another peek at her chest, but Lydia smacked his hand.
"Pervert!" She scolded. "Your brother is securing our table, we'll be right there with the food."
"You'll get a good look when we get home," Win promised, following after her wife while Nats sat down to save their table.
"Ooh chocolate," Nate was quickly distracted. "You look weird, more than usual, is this about Barry havin' unprotected sex with Lisha?"
"Yeah, I guess. D'you think th'girls will wanna try for kids anytime soon?" He asked, watching his wives move across the room.
"Them? Hell no," Nate snorted peeling the gold wrap from a coin to pop in his mouth. "They love the freedom. If they ever want kids, that's not happenin' for ten, fifteen years."
"How d'yeh know though? What if they wanna settle down and have babies?" Nats asked, frowning as he noticed a man eyeing the girls.
"They like to travel, tour around the world, go out and drink until morning, shag all over the flat... can't do all that with babies," his twin shrugged following his brother's gaze and huffing. "Ugh, another one."
"I have a weird feeling," Lydia murmured as she got the second plate ready. "It's like a weird numbness mixed with my heart racing, I usually feel it when I'm about to-"
"I have never seen you two before, I would remember two beautiful faces like yours," a voice like Nathan's called, but he had a different accent, English was definitely not his native language. He looked somewhere between the boys and Sean.
"Oh!" Win exclaimed, looking the man up and down. "This is my first time here," she said, letting him take her hand to kiss.
"Encounter a variant... hi, yeah, we're trying to get back in touch with our spirituality," Lydia grinned, letting him take her hand next. "I'm Lydia, this is Win."
"I'm Eli. Nice to meet you, ladies," he certainly noticed the wedding rings, but that didn't seem to intimidate him at all. "I haven't been coming every week as I wish, but I'm happy I came today."
"A Jewish Nathan variant?" Win whispered, leaning in toward Lydia. "What are th'odds?"
"There's a priest one, I guess that makes sense," she waved at Eli, happy he didn't fluster them further, hopefully he would see them with the boys and back off. Right?
"Y'gotta be kiddin' me," Nats groaned. "Should we go over there?"
"We trust them! We trust them! I don't think we- I'll go," Nate marched across the room to make sure that bastard knew they were taken. "Hey wives, I'm kinda hungry..."
"We're coming," Lydia laughed, giving him one of the plates she was holding. "Come on."
"It was nice t'meet you," Win said, wearing a grin as her husband pulled her away. "You're still jealous after all these years together?" She teased.
"Nice to meet you, Eli! Chag Sameach!" Lydia shouted as she followed them.
"As long as these twats with our faces keep tryin' t'get in your knickers... yeah, I'm fuckin' jealous," Nate scoffed.
“How many times do we hafta tell you two you have nothin’ to worry about?” Win sighed.
“At least once more,” Nats muttered.
"You have nothing to worry about," Lydia grinned. "Now let's eat, let's see how you like my ancestors' food."
"A Jewish Nathan... what even is Nathan without religious trauma? Bein' raised with that catholic guilt is part of my charm," Nate mumbled, his mood quickly changing when he took a bite.
Win rolled her eyes, but she too moaned softly as she began to eat.
"Oh my God, why haven't you ever made this kinda food for us before?" Nats asked, looking at Lyddie.
"To be fair, I don't know much about Jewish food, but I'm sure dad still has grandma's old cook books and I could learn," she smiled, attacking her father's challah. "I really wanna connect with my roots, both from my mum and my dad."
"I really like this, and the rabbi seems like a nice guy, maybe we should convert," Nate suggested.
"And have you circumcised? No way," she laughed. "Besides, you're not ready to give up bacon and cheeseburgers."
Nats winced at the thought. "On second thought, I like the beast th'way it is."
"We can learn the recipes together," Win exclaimed, taking another bite. Though they were sitting with their husbands, she could still feel Eli's eyes on them.
"Yeah, I'd love that," Lydia agreed, also noticing how the man was still staring with a smirk. He wasn't intimidated by the husbands, he was glad the husbands looked like him. It must mean he is their type.
"Why is that wanker still lookin'?" Nate nudged his brother's arm.
"He's definitely bolder than any of th'other... us'es," Nats muttered, shooting a glare at the other man.
"That's cause you haven't met the German bartender... I wonder how he's doing," Lydia giggled, sharing a look with Win. "When was the last time we saw him? Four years ago for B's hen party?"
"WAIT what you talkin' about?" Nate frowned, nearly choking.
"Nothin', nothin'," Winnie was quick to say, thumping Nate on the back.
"Lyddie!" Nats whined. "Why are we just now hearin' about this?"
"What? He's never done anything, he's just... chronically horny," she shrugged. "None of us ever slept with him, or kissed him."
"You're bein' weirdly specific," Nate gasped. "What have you done with this fella?"
"Nothing!"
“That sounds awfully suspicious,” Nats grumbled, picking at his food.
"We... danced with him, and it was ten years ago! So did Kelly!" Lydia yelped, carefully omitting the part when she touched his abs. "Can I remind you that you two tried to get a girl's number on your stag night? It's been ages."
“Only t’prove we could!” Nats exclaimed.
“Well, perhaps I’ll prove I can still dance with a man and not shag him,” Win countered, standing to go ask Eli to dance.
"All Alisha saw was you hitting on a girl so we danced and- Hey! Honeypie! What about me? I wanna dance with him too," Lyddie followed.
She always felt rather stupid, like her wife's appendage. The variants talked to her only because Winnie was there too.
"Hey, would y'like t'dance with us?" Win asked, ignoring the Nathans' incredulous stares as she stood at the edge of Eli's table.
"Won't your husbands mind?" He asked so cynically, it was clear the answer wouldn't change his intentions.
"A dance is just a dance..." Lydia murmured, making sure her father wasn't watching.
"Of course, it'll be my pleasure," Eli took both of their hands, heading to the dance floor.
Win smiled at him, hoping it would drive her husbands crazy. “This is my first time celebrating Hanukkah, won’t you help make it memorable?” She asked, sharing a grin with her wife.
"Of course, making things memorable is what I do best. Too bad they are watching, I could make much better memories if we were alone," Eli teased, leaning closer so only the two of them would hear.
“You’re terrible!” She laughed. “I’m surprised you’re still single.”
"I don't really plan on marrying, my fiancé left me during a trip, I've never seen her again," Eli sighed. "I think my chance is gone, I simply try to enjoy myself while I still can."
"Don't say that! I'm sure you'll find someone to spend your life with," Lydia said, his trick working perfectly.
"That... that fucker! He knows they're taken!" Nate growled, eating very angrily what was left on his plate.
“They’re not gunna do anythin’, they’re just tryin’ t’rile us,” Nats muttered, leaning back in his chair to watch them, though his blood boiled.
"Well it's their loss, I could be fingerin' Win under the table and givin' Lyds sexy treats..." he grumbled.
“We could get them back by leavin’ em high and dry when we get home… but they could always just get each other off,” Nats pointed out.
"Hmmm technically yes, but I could casually have smoke and do that thing with my shirt, that would make Winnie want me specifically," Nate quirked an eyebrow. "Y'can do the same with Lyds."
Nats’ lips twitched impishly, understanding the idea immediately. “Deal.”
“You mean, you like to flirt with every girl you can?” Win asked, leveling Eli with a knowing look.
"No, but when I see two girls as beautiful as you... I can't miss the opportunity," he grinned. "You're married, not dead. A kiss wouldn't be the end of the world, right?"
"Kiss?" Lydia breathed, terrified when she twirled, ending up in his arms.
“As tempting as that sounds, I’m afraid we’ll hafta pass,” Winnie said, placing her hand over his mouth to prevent him from pressing his lips to Lyddie’s.
"Y-yeah, you are very handsome and your accent is adorable, and I heard you speaking Yiddish, that was..." Lydia cleared her throat. "But we really love our husbands."
"Pity," Eli didn't seem defeated, he still had hope if they kept meeting every week or so, he was bound to be successful at some point.
“I think we better be getting back. Thanks for th’dance,” Win said, taking her wife's hand and pulling her away.
"See you around," he winked at them discreetly, reaching for a cigarette in his pocket.
"I was not gonna kiss him, you know that right?" Lydia whispered.
“I know, but I thought he was gunna kiss you,” she whispered back. “How mad d’yeh think the boys are?”
"He was, I was petrified," Lyddie cried. "They must be fuming right now!"
"Oh hi, you're back," Nate leaned back calmly. "Had fun with the knockoff? He seemed handsy..."
“Almost as handsy as you,” Win quipped, perching in his lap.
"But I'm your husband, I've got rights," he whispered, kissing her neck gently before pulling back. "Don't worry though, I won't bother you today."
“Oh?” She asked, raising an eyebrow. “Is this payback for dancing with Eli?”
"Maybe, maybe I'm just tired after such a long day," Nate faked a yawn. "
“Oh I see,” she said, knowing what he was up to. “That’s alright, I’m pretty tired too,” she said, resting her head on his shoulder.
"Maybe we can take a nap together when we get back," Nate didn't back down, the way she smiled at that man still burned in his mind.
“Sounds nice,” Win mused, turning her face into the crook of his neck, her nose brushing his throat as she took a deep breath, inhaling his scent.
That sent shivers down his spine, but he took a deep breath, if anything she was probably just as needy. Or so he hoped.
“Have fun?” Nats asked, trying to act cool and aloof.
"Um yeah, he's very charming and it just proves that we can be around the variants and not do anything indecent," Lydia didn't want to admit she freaked out when he tried to kiss her, but she was quite startled.
“Yeah, I guess it did prove that,” he mused. “Hey Charles, can you tell us what th’meanin’ of Hanukkah is?” He asked, changing the subject.
"Well um, it's the festival of light to celebrate taking back a temple in Jerusalem that has been defiled, it's about reclaiming our faith," Charles explained, noticing something seemed slightly off.
“That’s so interesting,” Nats exclaimed, reaching for another slice of challah.
"Yeah, and after the temple was cleansed they lit a candle that should only have had oil to burn for one day, but it lasted eight days, that's why we light the menorah and celebrate for eight days," Charles added. "Is everything okay with you four?"
"Yeah, it's wonderful," Lydia smiled.
“Yeah, we’re fine,” Nats agreed, slinging his arm around her shoulders.
"Good, that's good," Charles nodded, looking at his wife who shrugged.
"Are you still hungry, baby? Do any of you want anything else?" Lydia asked.
"I'm full," Nate murmured, holding Win close.
"I'm good too," she said, offering Lyddie a warm smile.
"Me too," Nats said, though he frowned slightly. "Actually, I'd like t'dance with my wife, if that's alright," he said, taking Lydia's hand.
"Of course," she felt her heart race, there was no comparison dancing with any other man. "I hope I didn't upset you, Eli tried to kiss me... he didn't though! We rejected him."
He tensed for a moment before letting out a relieved sigh. "I'm not gunna lie, I was pretty jealous earlier, but... I know you or Win would never actually do anythin' with that prick," he admitted, taking Lyddie into his arms to sway to the music.
"Awww of course not! I never did anything bad with any of your variants... not intentionally, there was that one time in Belfast, but I thought that was you and I felt horrible," she sighed, resting her head on his shoulder. "We're you gonna tease me and leave me hanging?"
"That was th'plan, but I don't' have th'heart for that," he admitted, resting his cheek against her head.
"I didn't want to make you jealous, I thought he was nice... but I didn't want to shag him," Lyddie whispered. "But it's cute that you didn't have the heart to torture me."
"I know, th'only reason you're drawn to those damn variants is cause they look like me," Nats murmured, huffing a wry laugh. "I love yeh too much. I'm gettin' too old t'play head games."
"I love you too," she stroked his hair with a frown. "You're not old, I like your silly games and I don't want you to mature. I just want you to be you."
"Would you ever wanna have a baby?" He asked suddenly, the question bursting out of him out of nowhere.
"What? Where is this coming from?" She laughed, in contrast with how sad his previous statement made her. "I mean, maybe one day? Definitely not now or anytime soon."
Nats frowned at her reaction. "It's just... Barry said he and Lisha were tryin' for one and it made me wonder if you wanted to as well," he muttered.
"Not now... we're too young for that, I wanna go to college and do so many things before I can settle and have kids. Why? Do you?" Lydia asked.
"N-not really. At least, not yet," he admitted. "But I started thinkin', and I got worried that you wanted to and just weren't sayin' anythin'--"
"If we got pregnant by accident, I'm sure we could make it work, but I promise when I'm ready I'll let you know," she assured. "We have so much to go through before we do that."
"Yeah, course," he breathed, relief filling him. "Hey, is that dick watchin' us?"
"Yeah," Lyddie smirked. "Kiss me, you're the only one I wanna kiss and he'll see that. But kiss me like you mean it."
Nats didn't need telling twice, dipping Lydia low and kissing her like he meant it.
"Perfect," she mumbled, definitely feeling warmer after seeing how passionate her husband was. "Wow, I think he knows now..."
"Good, cause you're mine," Nats drawled, setting her back on her feet.
"You're so sexy right now," she cried. "I really want you."
"Oh yeah? Should we go somewhere?" He teased.
"Yeah, but where? We can't fuck in a temple, that's too much even for me," Lydia mused. "Let's get outside."
"You got it, Mrs. Young," Nats chuckled, taking her hand and pulling her outside.
——————————————————
"Wanna get a smoke? Or would you like t'dance too?" Nate asked casually.
"I could use a smoke, actually," Win said, slipping off of his lap.
"Awesome," he pulled his old lighter and a pack of cigarettes from his pocket. "Did he... try anything?"
"He went for a kiss with Lyds, but she pulled back and I put my hand over his mouth," Winnie said as she followed her husband outside, the chill of the winter air pebbling her skin.
"In front of everyone? The nerve!" He looked back over his shoulder, spotting Eli and with a simple gesture making the chair move from under him. "Doesn't matter..."
"Yeah, I think he might be a bigger player than you were," she said, taking a cigarette and leaning in to let him light it for her.
Nate chuckled, but that comment somewhat hurt him. "He's older... than I was, than I am- look," he covered the flame with one hand before closing the lighter and looking up at her.
Win frowned. "I love you, you know that, right? I wouldn't have married you otherwise," she murmured, holding his gaze.
"I love you too, it just made me feel had t'think he's more... charming or somethin'," he admitted before taking a drag and turning his head to exhale.
"Nathan... no one's more charmin' than you," she sighed incredulously, surging forward to kiss him.
He finally smiled against her lips, happy with her response. "The only reason we worry is cause you're both so outta our league."
"We chose you," she whispered against his lips. "That's all that matters."
"We're the luckiest fellas in the world. I was pretending, by the th'way... I do wanna get handsy with you and I'm not too tired," Nate breathed.
"I know," Win laughed, dropping her half-smoked cigarette to the ground before pulling him closer and placing his hand on her chest. "How about we get handsy now?" she whispered.
"Ooooh you're such a bad girl!" His hand slid down to her ass. "I could make us invisible and we could... have some fun."
"Is this blasphemous?" She giggled, letting her hand slip down his chest.
"I mean... I don't think so? We're not in the synagogue, we're just next to it," he lifted her skirt pulling her knickers to the side to feel her up.
"You're so bad," she breathed, shivering in the cold.
"You're the one who suggested it..." Nate huffed a laugh. "It's cold isn't it? Wanna do it in the car?"
"Mhmm," Winnie shuddered. "Please? Warm me up, babe."
"Don't worry, I'll make it hot in no time," he joked, unlocking the car for them and turning the heating on before he went back to kissing her. "Better?"
"Much better," she purred, hiking her skirt up for him. "How can I resist you?" she asked between kisses.
"You don't," he groaned as he tried to undo his trousers and free his cock. "You surrender and I shag your brains out."
"Is that how it happens?" She chuckled, her laugh husky as she slipped her knickers down, a little awkwardly in the cramped space.
"Exactly, can't resist your sexy husband," he slid into her, kissing her neck roughly, trying not to mark her too obviously so everyone else wouldn't see when they went back inside.
As Nate's lips connected with Win's neck, she let out a low moan, her cunt clenching around him tighter. "I love you so much. You're so perfect."
"I love you too, you feel so good," he murmured against her skin, biting her gently. "I wanna mark you up so bad... when we're back home I will."
"Do it," she whined. "I want them t'see. I want them t'know I'm yours," she breathed, catching his lips momentarily, sucking on his bottom lip as she pulled back.
With her blessing, Nate started to leave hickeys all over her neck and her shoulders. Everyone from their family was pretty used to seeing that sort of thing and everyone else didn't matter.
"Feel better knowin' I'm yours?" Win asked when he finally pulled back to admire his handiwork.
"So much better," he tried to catch his breath, the windows were steaming up and he was starting to sweat, but nothing he couldn't fix once they were done. "Y'look so hot like this."
"Now fuck me, baby," she purred, grinning up at him, her arms snaking around his shoulders. "I wanna be full of your spunk when we go back in," she drawled in his ear.
"You want more, do you?" He picked up his pace, thrusting with abandon and letting out all that pent-up frustration from earlier. "Yeah, y'little tart?"
"Yes!" She cried. "You're so sexy when you're a sweaty mess," she whimpered. "I'm so close."
"Come for me, baby, all over my cock," he breathed, ready to blow as well. "Milk daddy's cock."
Win threw her head back in the cramped space as she came, her nails biting into Nate's shoulders. "Oh fuck, baby!"
"That's it... You're so good t'me," he huffed, climaxing only a few seconds after and nearly collapsing on top of her. "I love you so much."
"I love you too, baby. More than anyone in th'world. Well, other than Nats and Lyds," Win chuckled. "I think I worked up an appetite after that. Shall we go back in?" she asked, running her fingers through his curls to push them from his sweat slicked forehead.
"Yeah, let me fix this mess, get us presentable again," Nate used his magic to get them dry and make the clothes brand new. "There we go, let's get in there."
——————————————————
"I'm glad you don't wanna play this mind game, too bad about the hours of teasing I'd happily endure," Lydia giggled, leaning against the wall once they were out of the building.
"You're terrible," Nats murmured, pressing her up against the wall, his hand slipping up the outside of her thigh. "We can always go back to th'teasin'."
"I think it's a little late for that," she took her knickers off from under her dress and handed them to him. "I'm already very horny."
He laughed, balling up her panties and stuffing them in his pocket. "How would y'like it if as punishment I didn't give these back once we're done?" he teased, freeing his cock and hiking her leg up to slide into her, making sure no one could see them.
"I think that's very interesting... I like your ideas," she moaned, holding onto him for support. "Oh, I really needed that. I needed you."
"Yeah? I needed you too, so fuckin' badly," he groaned, wasting no time in thrusting into her roughly, setting a quick pace.
"I don't like making you jealous, but you fuck me so good when you're jealous," Lydia wrapped her arms around him tighter, seeking his lips.
Nats moaned into her mouth, chasing his pleasure, one hand slipping between them to circle her clit with his fingers.
"Oh! Natty, I'm getting close! Keep going, just like this," she gasped, urging her husband to look at her. "I wanna see you when you fill me up, daddy, please?"
He pulled back, pressing his forehead to hers, panting hard as he fucked her, feeling his balls clench before spilling inside her.
She came almost instantly as he filled her, that sensation never failed to make her melt in his arms and explode with pleasure. "Feeling better? I sure am..."
"You know it, Lollipop," Nats sighed, pulling out. "I love yeh so much."
"I love you too," Lydia fixed her hair and her dress before stealing another kiss. "This is how it's supposed to be, I'm happy like this."
"Yeah, me too," he agreed, tucking himself back into his pants and letting the glamour around them disappear. "Wanna go back in for the rest of the celebration?"
"Yeah, I think we better," she grinned, taking his hand. "I definitely need to replenish my energies after all of this dancing and shagging."
"Me too, I'm starvin' all over again," he laughed, noticing the way the windows on their car were fogged up.
"Looks like our other halves also decided to make up," she smirked, opening the door to get inside.
"Sure does," Nats chuckled, his hand slipping down to the small of Lydia's back as they reentered the synagogue.
"Perfect," Win exclaimed, letting Nate help her out of the car and back inside.
"There you are!" Charles cheered when the four of them finally met again at the table. "Had fun?"
"Lots," he smiled triumphantly.
Win adjusted her cardigan, but there was no way it was going to cover all the dark hickeys Nate had left behind.
"Nice," Nats murmured, eyeing her neck.
"Thanks," Nate high-fived his twin. "It's an art."
"Pervert..." Lydia laughed quietly, munching on her sufganiyot.
"I'll be right back, gunna grab some more food," Win murmured, rolling her eyes.
Up at the buffet table, she ran into Eli who looked her up and down, an eyebrow raising at the state of her neck. "You look like you had a good time. I was surprised earlier, women usually like me."
"Yeah well, your face is nice and the rest of you is too, but... You're not them," Lydia joined them, grabbing some grape juice for herself.
"You're definitely good lookin', but we're happily married," Win said apologetically.
"I can respect that, but if you ever change your mind... you know where to find me," Eli gave them one last look before joining his brother at the other side of the room.
"Wow, he's insistent!" Lyddie breathed. "Kinda hot, but I love our little morons."
"Me too, I wouldn't want anyone else," Winnie sighed, gazing across the room at their husbands.

Chapter 37
Morrie couldn't believe how happy he was. For the first time, he really enjoyed the moment. Of course, there had been quiet moments before this, back then when he had been alone, just sitting in the grass and listening to the wind. Or to Uncle Jack. But only this time, he felt like he wasn't waiting for something to happen. He was here with Nick, facing a seemingly endless day and for the first time, he appreciated the wide and flat horizon with nothing but trees and rocks around him, sparsely peppered over the landscape. He felt free.
Nick had similar feelings, except that for him, Morrie's mood meant everything. The Garden was a magical place, but it appeared empty when Morrie shunned him. Today made the change. Morrie was beaming, standing upright. He towered over Nick more than usual. But instead of being intimidating, he looked very tender. Instead of avoiding Nick, he locked gazes with him so many times, allowed them to smile at each other, sending wordless messages. Nick didn't care where they went as long as they went together. As long as he could cheer Morrie up.
Nick brought him to a halt once, when his gaze fell on something. “Morrie, wait-!”, he shouted out with excitement and pulled at the man's arm. “What is it? Wrong way?” Quickly, Nick knelt down to pick a flower. It had an orange blossom with yellow tips on the petals. Nick gave Morrie an adoring look and put the flower behind the man's ear.
“Orange this time?” Morrie sounded amused and posed as if Nick had a camera. “Does it suit me?” “Fantastic, luv! Goes great with your eyes and hair!”, Nick agreed with a likely peacocky pose. Morrie fluttered his eyelashes. “It'll be all the rage this season. Everyone's gonna wear it.” “But nobody will put it off like you.” “Naturally.” Morrie threw his head back. “I'll be the cover of all the fashion magazines in the Garden!” “I hope so.” Nick laughed, but he became curious. “Are there any magazines in the Garden?”
“No. It's up to you to establish one if you like.” Morrie sighed. “Hmm...Tempting.” “I'm joking. I don't think you'll find many readers.” “Why not? Don't you think Wastrels care about their looks?” “Do they look like it?” “Well, it's a different style, but they are very serious about it, right?” Morrie laughed out loud. “Dead serious indeed! They'll downright slaughter you if you neglect it. Not even Hackney went that far, although he was close.”
“But they could be more creative”, Nick insisted. “Different shapes of shreds, other messy haircuts, branches as hairpins and different flowers...” “You spent too much time with Hackney.” “But don't they miss looking smashing?” Morrie sighed again. “Sure. I guess.” “One can dream.” “Yeah...” Morrie wondered where Nick's optimism came from. The man turned from a self-destructive, depressed rockstar into a bundle of joy. Now he could imagine how Nick had the courage and endurance to fight his way up to the top.
Then Morrie gave him a playful look. “I wonder what flower would sit well on you.” Nick folded his hands behind his back and grinned. “Your choice, luv. Surprise me.” “Let's see...It'll be hard to beat the Nonsuches, though.” “I'm sure you'll manage.” Morrie searched the grass while they strolled further. The Wastrel knew he was being ridiculous, making an effort just to put a flower in someone's hair. But Nick seemed to like flowers and he wanted to look pretty, so...How could he deny him his wish? He thought of red or pink. No pastels. And orange was already taken. Blue was possible, but only a light blue, nothing too dark and sad.
Nick watched him search, happy that he found another way to entertain him. Eventually, Morrie made a decision and offered Nick a red blossom with fluffy petals and a violet centre. Nick accepted it as if it was a medal. Morrie acted very gentle, pushing the other man's hair back and adjusting the flower. When he was done, he couldn't help grabbing Nick and kissing his lips.
Nick loved Morrie's “attacks”. Feeling needed, even craved by this shy man sent wholesome shivers down his spine. He tried his best to assure him, to tell him he'd be alright. He had the feeling that Morrie didn't believe it yet since he kept pulling away. Nick did everything to keep cautious but it was difficult. He had never been the slow type.
He kissed a trail down Morrie's neck to the chest while his hands fondled the bare upper body under the open jacket. He could feel his muscles tense under his touch and his breath become faster. Careful. Nick's lips rested on Morrie's chest, not daring to go further down. He stroked Morrie's back, then he settled for rubbing his cheek against him. Morrie adored the gesture. Nick seemed to fully trust him, begging to keep him close. He smiled into the soft auburn hair. Yes, I have your back, Nicky, he thought. Don't you worry. They hugged and swayed, until Morrie only reluctantly let him go again. His tender smile comforted Nick, who couldn't wait for the next “attack”.
Moving on hand in hand, they eventually found an abandoned road and followed it until the house on the map came into view. “Oh, that doesn't look too bad, though. A lot like yours”, Nick commented the sight. Indeed, judging by the front it seemed to be intact, even neat, with red and white flowers growing in the front garden. A bright red postbox stood next to the entrance and Nick wondered how these of all things survived everything. However, the broken fence and the ivy covering the door proved that nobody had lived here for a long time.
Walking around the house, they found a gaping hole in the wall that allowed them to see the stairs inside. Also the roof above was torn open as if somebody had hit the building with a blunt axe. “This is useful...”, Morrie mumbled, making Nick chuckle. “Yeah, screw doors.” “The plants there, Nicky. Did you forget everything I told you?”, the Wastrel teased him. “I might've been a little distracted...” Morrie rolled his eyes, but in an amused way, then told him that a tea made from the violet flowers helped against various aches.
The back of the house looked even worse. The walls were missing as if someone cut the building in half and threw the other part away. Only the chimney stood tall, proud but useless. They could overlook all three floors. Ivy grew over the wounds in the walls, painting it in a lush green that seemed to be out of place. The wind howled through the open rooms, emphasizing their emptiness more than silence would.
Seeing this made Nick feel strange, a humbleness he didn't remember to possess. The ruin was a sad sight, but what he felt wasn't sadness. He sensed that this place had a meaning. It had meant everything to someone else. People had lived, laughed and loved in here and all that was left was this memorial. What really happened here, they would never know. It's history was lost forever. It endured in silence and whoever found this would only...use it to satisfy their own needs.
This was the other side of the Garden's deeper meaning. Not the magical, gaudy side, but the morbid one. They didn't need corpses to come upon death. Nick leaned against the broken wall, hands clutching stone. It was cold despite the sun. The wind crawled under this shredded clothes and made him tremble.
“Nick? Are you okay?” Morrie noticed the change of mood. “This is like us, right?”, Nick said hoarsely, looking up to the ruin. “We're just as broken. Some pieces of us still remain, but the rest is lost forever...” Morrie followed his gaze in silence. He hadn't forgotten how sensitive Nick was about the topic, but he had no chance but to try again and again. “That's a...poetic view...”, he whispered. “But it's true, right? Ruins like these are all around us. And in our heads. Our past, our memories, everything...” Nick couldn't look away. “And this...we...we have to abuse it...”
Morrie put an arm around him to hold him close. “Look, Nick, we have to create something new...”, he tried. “This isn't a home anymore, but it's full of things that could make a new home. We...we're giving this a new purpose.” Nick sniffed. “I remember..very far away...shady images...we used to play in these when we were kids, didn't we?...We didn't care what happened...it was just a playground for us...” He bowed his head, leaning heavily against Morrie. “Is this our punishment?” The Wastrel had similar memories from his childhood. Living in the Garden felt like a caricature of the old days.
“I'm sure it's not a punishment...not by a higher being...” Morrie furrowed his brows, unsure if he offended Nick. The rockstar believed in supernatural beings after all. “We did this to ourselves. Instead of rebuilding the district after the war, we...ignored it, or forgot about it. The main point is, we never fixed it. And that's why these are still here.” Nick took a deep breath. His voice was husky when he answered: “So, the past is back to haunt us...Great...What an awful punishment just for not taking Joy...” “You're free now”, Morrie said and hugged him, caressed his hair. “You don't have to pretend that you're happy any longer...” ...and you won't be happy again, Morrie ended the sentence in his head. Then he buried his nose in Nick's hair. Yes, he corrected himself. You will be. God, I hope you will be...
Nick remained in Morrie's embrace, pressed himself against him. He realized that none of this would've happened in Wellington Wells. They had been enemies there, trapped in a never ending circle of lies... “Yes, I'm free now...”, he sighed. “I can stop being an asshole...” Tears choked him again. All those years they could've been together, all wasted. Morrie held him while he cried, wishing to be better at comforting people. “You weren't yourself, Nick...We've all been assholes on Joy.” “That's very kind of you, but you don't have to lie for me...I've been absolute shit.” Morrie's gentle hands kept comforting him.
“I don't know that, Nick. When I met you, the drugs had already taken a toll on you.” “Oh, god, I was a mess...No wonder you were disgusted. You expected a professional, a musical genius, but you got a rambling idiot instead. Not a Lightbearer.” “Now, now, Nick, you...” He was looking for compliments in his hateful memories. It felt like he turned his past upside down, but he craved a way to find the good inside it without betraying himself.
Nick had been graceful. He had been handsome. His fans had fallen on their knees in front of him. And he had tried to be good to Morrie. He had just...failed to fight his inner demons.
“You've been a true star, the idol of the entire town”, he brought out and blushed. “I was impressed.” “Really?” Nick looked up to him, eyes wet. Morrie wiped the tears away with his thumb. “Every time you broke out of your shell, you were dazzling...Er...Sorry, I sound like a staggering fan. I should stop.” “Are you kidding me? I love talking to my fans! They had the nicest compliments...” Nick sighed. “They were the only people that believed in me. I wonder if they miss me.” “They...” Morrie struggled for words. “They have no control over their memory.” “Right...that sucks.” “Yeah.”
Morrie quietly caressed him more. He didn't care if they searched the house today. They would do it when Nick was ready. Nick's hand suddenly wandered up to Morrie's chest and he gave him a flirty grin. “Anyway...you were saying...?” Morrie's heart beat faster. He cupped Nick's face and bit his lips, pondering if there were any words to describe what he had felt back then. Eventually, he decided for a kiss instead.
They began to carefully fondle each other. Morrie tasted the salty tears on Nick's cheeks and they only made him want more, to show his passion to him. Nick should know he'd be okay. Whatever happened in the past, it was over. It wouldn't haunt them.
Nick moved just as cautiously, what surprised Morrie. Usually, the man would conquer him with his tongue, playfully rubbing it against his, asking to play along. Now, his kiss felt more like a massage. Nick was slow but certain, pleasing Morrie. But the Wastrel couldn't fight the feeling that Nick was searching for reassurance. Morrie kept stroking his cheeks with his thumbs, hoping that the gesture gave him the right answer.
Nick felt wrapped into a comfy cloud and he thankfully sank deeper into it. He needed Morrie so much and for the first time, he thought he found the right way to tell him without driving him away. Morrie acted so gentle despite his hard shell. His hands were rough and scarred but much softer than any touch Nick remembered. He felt clumsy and gruff compared to him. He as the Golden God, who melted every heart he desired and made them shiver under his touch – but didn't he just break people and take what he needed? Morrie instead was delicate. Morrie was tender.
He melted Nick's heart like this, rendered him helpless. All Nick could do was...learning to be just as careful as him. Take in his passion, play by his rhythm, even though it hurt. And hell, did it hurt. His fans must've felt like that...Another reason to be sorry. Still, the way Morrie stroked him and held him close soothed him. He trusted Morrie. He knew he wouldn't let him fall.
When they parted, he felt like he was breathing for the first time. Morrie looked down at him with a bittersweet smile, wiping stubborn hair strands out of his face. “Are you okay?”, he whispered. Nick answered with a helpless smile and a nod. Morrie couldn't help kissing his forehead. “We don't have to go in there if you're uncomfortable”, he went on, looking over the wall to explain. Nick pondered. The house appeared to be less of a threat now. And with Morrie by his side...
He turned his head to look over the wall. Morrie's hands wandered down to his shoulders and stroked him there. “No, it's okay...I can make it..”, he answered, eyes wandering over rubble and ivy. Slowly, his curiosity came back. He didn't expect to be pulled back into a hug. “You're tough, Nick. But if you start feeling unwell, tell me... We'll turn back, no problem.” “Hmm....”, Nick purred. The sound tickled in Morrie's chest. “Gotta admit I feel better in your arms.” Morrie chuckled and swayed a little. “We can hug more later.” “I hope that's a promise.” “Sure. You get all the hugs you want.” “I'll take your word for it!”
They parted and laughed. Morrie climbed the fall first. Sitting on top, he held out a hand to help Nick up. Nick smiled widely at that. So many excuses for touches. This would be worth it. Nick took the hand and soon felt a firm grip that pulled him upwards.

Peeta mellark x male reader
We all know who Katniss Everdeen is, but what if Primrose hadn’t been chosen but another boy from another unfortunate family? YOUR family.
Info: This is basically a reader insert and I’ve changed a few rules, not ground breaking though. The reader is a bit bland for now but I plan for his actions to be different. Because he has different moral grounds from Katniss and such. Would appreciate feedback! FEEL FREE TO POINT OUT TYPOS. GRAMMARLY SOMETIMES DOESN’T DO MY DYSLEXIC ASS JUSTICE
Part one: Over there, buddy
Part two:You’re here right now. :)
Part three: Click here, pepperoni salami.

I separated with Gale and Katniss for a while, telling them I needed air. I sighed, leaping from branch to branch in the thicket of trees. Bread, not just bread, baker's bread. If I'm lucky I could get just enough squirrels for the baker, he had a taste for it but his wife was much of a witch, so he only buys it when she's not around.
I remembered how she found me stealing some burnt bread from the trashcan. I looked at her with wide eyes, frozen, I thought I was going to die, stealing was punishable for death, after all. But she just let me go, screaming about her frustration of Seams picking through her trash.
I got bread that day either way.
I landed on a sturdy branch, spotting a squirrel on the tree adjacent to me; it was quite huge, I'm sure he'd love this. Let's just hope the witch isn't home by the time I give this to him.
I crouched down, still as a statue as I watched the squirrel run up and down the tree. I pulled out the thin, glistening dagger, unwrapping its course, leather bindings, which became a makeshift thin rope. I felt my eyes unconsciously widen, watching the squirrel's movements.
My arm aimed, then with a simple flick, the dagger whistled through the air. The small creature was then pinned to the bark of the tree through its eyes. The dagger's blade was thin enough to not damage anything when aimed right.
I pulled on the rope, the blade coming back, dragging the animal carcass with it. A small smile tugged on my face, I can get bread.
Kunal was surely panicking, he was the type to worry about the smallest of things. He once stepped on a cat's tail, Buttercup, Primrose's cat and he bawled, nobody could calm him down. Until he was offered food, that is.
I chuckled at the memory, slowly pulling the blade off the head of the squirrel. I held it in my hands victoriously, a grin on my face. I whistled a small 3 tone song, the chirping mocking birds falling silent before they imitated the tone.
After meeting up, we went back home, passing by the Hob. It was sort of a black market, where coals are transported directly to trains. I disliked it here, the amount of coal dust always bothered me, so when I come here I tend to cover my nose.
We managed to trade six of the fish for good bread, the other two for some salt. The lady who sells soup, the one that always glares at me because I've insulted her soup on multiple occasions, Greasy Sae: took half the greens we gathered, along with the dead dog meat that she calls "beef".
That's why I hate her soups, though it's not like I have much of an option, we can't afford luxury here. Unlike those obnoxious, entitled, privileged people in the Capitol. My jaw clenched at the mere thought of those scums.
We finish our business on the market, so we went to the mayor's house, who was particularly fond of strawberries. We knocked on the back door, his daughter, Madge opening it for us.
She's in Katniss and I's year sits beside us at almost every event because we don't really have groups of friends. For being the mayor's daughter you'd expect her to be an entitled brat or maybe a snob, but she was alright, she kept to herself.
I like that, I hate noisy people, They'll scare away the game, that and I've never really liked loud noises. I still remember the explosions in the mines, it was traumatizing, even though my father didn't meet death there. I really wished he had.
Madge didn't wear her usual attire, instead, she wore an expensive white dress, her blonde hair up with a pink ribbon. Reaping clothes. I felt my face scrunch up, that day was supposed to be a form of celebration. It's more of a way for the capitol to show who's in control.
We were being punished for the crimes of the people who failed, disguised as some form of celebration. It's disgusting.
"Pretty dress," Gale complimented. Madge shoots him a look, trying to see if it's genuine or if he was just being ironic. It was a pretty dress, but it was a waste.
She smiled, "Well, if I'm going to the Capitol, I want to look nice, don't I?"
I clenched my jaw, "But you won't be going to the Capitol," I said coolly, my voice monotone. My eyes landed on a small, circular pin on her dress. Real gold. The testament to the fact that she probably won't be chosen. "You probably have five entries, compared to us, that's a blessing."
"That's not her fault," Katniss said. Madge looked slightly hurt, probably because I've never really spoken my thoughts to her, I try my best to be polite when she engages a conversation with me.
"I know," I responded plainly. Madge smiled towards me, though it was clear it wasn't exactly genuine. She then handed the money for the berries. She looked towards Katniss "Good luck, Katniss"
"You too," She responded.
We walked toward the Seam, I can't help but feel angry. Her? Going to the Capitol? What a joke. When you're twelve your name gets put in the pile once, thirteen twice then so on. Up until your eighteen, where your name is entered seven times.
But the thing is, the rich have an advantage. You can enter your name willingly in the pile when you're starving in exchange for some tesserae. I had been doing this since I was twelve, having entered my name 3 times, for my mother, brother and myself. Every year following suite, it has always been like this.
Now at the age of 16, I've entered my name twenty times, same with Katniss. Gale was in even greater danger, with a number of forty-two.
And she'll be the tribute this year? It can happen but it's deadly slim. I knew Gale felt the same way, listening to him rant about tesserae in the woods with Katniss was enough confirmation, along with the fact that I join in on the rants. Always end it with a promise to destroy the Capitol, somehow.
But what good does that do us?
Gale, Katniss and I divide our spoils, though it wasn't really the evenest distribution. Gale got more, understandably since he has more mouths to feed.
"See you guys in the square," Katniss said, Gale nodded, "Wear something pretty," he joked.
I decided to stop by the bakery, by then the witch should be home but I took my chances. There was Mr Mellark, sitting outside, watching the pigs. He saw me from the corner of his eye, he grinned. "Greyback!' he called.
"Mr Mellark, still up for some squirrel?" I ask, holding the fat one up. He nodded, "You're lucky my wife isn't here, yet. Hold on, I'll get the bread for Kunal," he said, rushing inside.
I walked to the backdoor of the bakery so that he wouldn't trouble himself that much. I waited awkwardly outside, looking at a small bird fluttering about. I whistled, holding my finger out.
The bird landed on my finger, making me smile. From the corner of my eye, I saw a boy, blonde, stocky. Could probably kill me, if I'm being honest. Even though I was fast, I wasn't strong.
Soon enough, the bird flew away with the arrival of the baker, with a loaf of sweet, savoury bread, hot from the oven. "Here you go, Greyback."
I nodded, handing him the squirrel. "Oh!" he hummed, "Have you met my son, Peeta?" he asked, a smile on his face, "You're in the same year, yes?"
I didn't know what to say. Sure, I know him but I don't know that well him that well. My eyes travelled to the boy, who simply waved and briskly walked away. "I don't think so," I answered.
"I better be going, Mr Mellark. Nal needs his favourite bread after all," I said, flashing a small smile before I left. A small pit of dread boiled in my stomach, something bad is going to happen.
But then again, it's Reaping day, nothing good ever happens.

Info--------------------
Y/N- Age: 16, Hight: 5'6", Gender: female, Quirk: Plant Growth and Control, Class: 1-A
AU- None, Domestic fluff
Relationship background: You and Bakugo are really good friends and secretly have crushes on each other!!!
———————————————
It was rather early in the morning and admittedly, (Y/N) hadn’t slept the best, her dreams being plagued with fantasies of hungry gators, with her on the menu. So in short, she needed her morningly sugar.
Walking down the halls of the dorms, she groggily made her way to the kitchen where she opened the fridge and grabbed herself a vanilla DrPepper. Popping it open, she shuffled into the living room and flopped onto the couch where she tiredly sipped at her drink.
*****
Unknown to her were the three mischievous boys who had gathered in Sero’s room. “So here’s the deal…” The tall black haired male began to fill in his peers, Kirishima and Kaminari. “Yesterday, as I was out… I came across this guy who said that he had a special serum that can shrink someone…” He told them, to which their eyes practically bulged from their heads. “Wait for real?!” Denki cried, willing to believe his friend despite the height of the tall tale. Kirishima looked slightly skeptical, “Shrink someone??” He asked, despite how much he wanted to believe his friend.
Sero pulled a small bottle from under his bed with a wide, sly grin. “It’s pure extract from someone’s quirk.” He explained, shaking it gently as the amber colored liquid inside sloshed lightly. Denki looked momentarily horrified, “LIKE THAT THING THEY DID TO THAT LITTLE GIRL, ERI!?” He cried, “NO!!!” Sero replied, “Yeah, Sero wouldn’t do that, come on man!... Though how did you get it??” The redhead asked, now fully on board. Their friend just gave them a slightly creepy smile. “I have my ways…” he admitted. “Anyways, the reason I called you guys here…” He continued, setting the glass jar down gently in front of them.
“You guys know (Y/N)....”
“Yeah!!!” “Of course man!!!”
“Know Bakugo…?”
“Oh?” “Where’s this going……”
“Well…. I was thinking we could help them come out of their shells a little bit…” He chuckles almost darkly. The other two gave him curious and expectant looks. “I say we find a way to sneak (Y/N) some of the elixir…. Then we leave her to Bakugo.” He says. The other two perk up, “YES!!!” Denki fist pumps, “That’s genius!!!” He laughs. Kiri on the other hand didn’t seem so sure. “I don’t know man… If (Y/N) found out we’d be in a lot of trouble…. And if Bakubro found out….” Kirishima needn’t finish as all three boys shivered at the mere thought.
“Its ok, Bakugo isnt gonna find out because nobody's gonna tell him.” Sero urged, both him and Kirishima giving Denki a death glare. “Wha- HEY!!! I WOULDN'T TELL, YOU GUYS NO THAT, I DON'T SQUEAL LIKE A PIG, I'M NOT MINETA!!” he whined, throwing his arms out before Kirishima quickly clamped a hand over his mouth. “But he will know if you’re not quiet…” He hushed.
“So are we going to do this then??” Sero finally asked, the other two glancing at each other briefly before nodding. “Great!!!”
****
(Y/N) remained on the couch, passively drinking her soda whilst tapping away on her device. The three boys all came in one by one, gradually as not to seem suspicious. The girl paid them no mind, only acknowledging Kirishima when he sat beside her on the couch, whipping out his own phone after wishing her a goodmorning.
After five or so minutes, The boys’ classmate got up to go retrieve her charger as her phone battery began to run low, leaving her DrPepper on the coffee table. As soon as she was gone Sero tossed Kirishima the bottle and he uncapped it, dumping its entire contents into the unsuspecting drink. He then quickly screwed the lid back on and pocketed the empty bottle.
Shortly after, (Y/N) returned, retaking her place on the couch, grabbing her drink and taking a small sip.
All three boys couldn't help as devious smiles tugged at the corners of their mouths…
For the first little while she didn’t notice their creepy smiles as they watched her expectantly, her continuing to enjoy her beverage. Finally she looked up to be met by three pairs of eyes. “What??” She asked, furrowing her brows, confused at their behavior. "Nothing..." Kirishima smirked, chin on his fist as he refused to look away. "Riiiight.... Did you guys spit in my drink or something??" She asked, eyeing the other two who laughed, "No!!" Sero guffawed, "So.... Are you guys on drugs or something??" She pressed, feeling frustrated that she didn't know what was going on. "no, but you are...." Denki muttered under his breath with a snicker, getting smacked in the back of the head by his friend.
"Ok then, I'm going to leave you creeps to yourselves and get ready..." She stated, finishing her drink and tossing it into the recycling.
'What on earth was wrong with them??? Did they do something to my drink??? Were they just being dummies and trying to see how she would react???' (Y/N) couldn't help but wonder as she walked down the halls back toward her room where she'd shower and make herself presentable for the day.
Not long after she felt her knees turn to jelly as the air whisked itself from her lungs. Startled, she tripped over herself and fell hard to the ground.'What the heck just happened!? Was this because of Denki, Sero, and Kirishima?!' Her mind whirled as the fall to the ground felt far further than it should have.
*****
The three men peeked around the corner at their classmate and watched as her legs gave way and she tripped, disappearing completely in the process, just her sweat pants and white T-shirt left on the ground.
"What just-"
"Did she-"
"Did we...?"
Their eyes were frozen open. It looked as if they had just vaporized her. "Well, we gotta see if she's ok!!!" Kirishima said, finally running out from their hiding spot, the other two chasing after. As they approached the discarded garments they were able to see a small form moving underneath the cloth. "Is that-!" Sero's smile grew exponentially. Kirishima looked as if he would reach out and see if she was ok so Sero clamped a hand over his mouth, shaking his head in reminder that Bakugo had to be the one to find her.
****
(Y/N) Felt the ground shake violently briefly. She sat up, still a little shaky and trying to catch her breath. "What just happened, where am I?!" She cried, trying to look around only to see she was in some sort of large fabric covering. The boys remained silent, slowly backing away as to not be around if anyone else came down the hall. Luckily they had timed things right and the very man they wanted to see came walking down the halls.
The floor vibrated again with his footsteps. "H-hello??" (Y/N) called, a smidge of fear starting to creep in given she still didn't know what all was happening.
****
Bakugo had only just gotten up and was on his not-so-merry way when he heard a small voice. He stopped, noticing the clothing discarded on the floor. "Eh?? Who on earth just left their clothes on the floor??" He asked, grabbing each piece, unintentionally scooping the small woman inside up as well. "Whatever. If they want their stuff back they'll have to come get it back. I don't have time for this crap." He grumbled, making his way back to his room.
The three other boys just gave each other victorious smiles, the plan was set in motion.
****
Bakugo reached his room shortly, tossing the clothes onto a nearby chair. He was about to walk right back out when he saw that they were moving. He hesitated, eyes growing a little with curiosity. (Y/N) on the other hand was so close to getting out, "HEY!! WHAT'S GOING ON!!!" She shouted, pushing at the shirt that surrounded her. Bakugo's eyes widened more, was he going crazy or did the pile of clothes talk??? "IS THERE ANYONE THERE??!!" She yelled once more, finally pushing her way out, shoulders and up protruding from the linen prison. The ash blonde's eyes snapped all the way open, which, may I add, was most certainly a first. "Oi, what kind of a joke is this??" he asked, regaining his demeanor, reaching for what looked to him like some kind of doll. (Y/N) was still trying to process what all she was looking at around her when the giant hand tried to grasp for her. With a startled squeak she ducked back down, barely missing as the closing fist brushed the top of her head.
When he grabbed nothing Bakugo only blinked. Curious as to if he really saw what he thought he saw. Bakugo parted the clothes enough to see the top of a miniature head. What was that thing?! he just stared at it for a second, trying to process what he should do. As he thought, the head turned to look up at him, and he was greeted by the tiny face of his classmate, (Y/N). Startled, he flinched away, goosebumps breaking his skin. "WHAT THE HECK!?" He finally yelled, "B-Bakugo!?" she yelled back, inching her way back out of the shirt just enough to peek up and out at him. "How'd you get so big!?" She asked to which he promptly shouted back, "Nothing happened to me, you're the one who shrunk, idiot!!!" "What!?" She looked down at herself to figure out if he was telling the truth, and soon learned that not only was she a great deal smaller, but she was also in her own clothes, meaning they weren't necessarily on her body anymore.
(Y/N)'s eyes widened and she hugged the fabric closer to herself. "Uh.... I don't think I have anything to actually.... wear" She told him, her cheeks lighting up with embarrassment. Bakugo rolled his eyes, shutting his door roughly, "Tch- well you're not walking around my place with your naked butt." He replied curtly, just standing there as if she should do something about it. "Well?" He asked. She looked around, growing uncomfortable, "Well....?" She responded, unsure of what he wanted. "Use your dumb quirk to make yourself some! You can grow plants from your body right???" He asked, lip slightly curling up as he spoke. "Oh!! i can make them grow from anything really, but it has to have the nutrients that the plants would need to sprout, so I could grow them from my own body, but they'd sap my energy and life force in a sense, plus that could be risky given plants can be kinda flimsy and delicate..." She responded.
Bakugo huffed, making his way over to the bed where he pulled something out from under. A small shoe box. The tiny girl leaned to look inside as he took the lid off to reveal the last thing she expected to see. Barbies.
"YOU HAVE BARBIE DOLLS?!" She cried out in disbelief, quickly covering her mouth as his head swirled to give her a death glare, "IT WAS A PHASE OK!? AND THEY'RE NOT BARBIE DOLLS, THEY'RE ACTION FIGURES!!!!" He belted, making her cover her sensitive ears. "Plus, I was ten...." He grumbled. pulling a few of the different girls out. "Pick whichever one you like, I don't care." the boy huffed, holding them out. "Umm, well I like the last one!!" She told him, pointing to one with a red, flannel shirt with a collar, and blue jeans. The ash blonde didn't respond, only set it down beside her and put the others away, his cheeks ever so slightly pink from embarrassment of the dolls.
"U-um... Could I maybe have some privacy???" The small girl asked, a little flustered. "Yeah, whatever..." he replied, turning around to stare at the wall, "Just hurry up, I have places to go and things to do." he told her, his tone returning to not a mean one, but also not necessarily nice. (Y/N) just nodded, staying within the safety of her shirt as she slipped the doll's clothes on. "Alright, I'm decent now." she told him, climbing from the wrapped cloth to stand before him, his crimson eyes turning to look her up and down. "Eh- They fit you well." he said after a moment of silence, making her blush, "Thanks!" She chirped, quickly turning his cheeks red, "NOT LIKE THAT, THEY JUST AREN'T TOO BIG!!!" He yelled angrily. The tiny couldn't help but laugh, a blush still set on her face. "SHUT UP!!!" He bellowed again, to which she responded, "Hey, no need to get all prickly, it was a nice compliment! Your yelling is hurting my ears though..."
Bakugo just scowled, letting out a terse huff. "Yeah, fine, whatever. I gave you clothes, you can go now, I just want those back whenever this is over." he told her, grabbing a duffle bag off the end of the bed. "Wait! You're just going to leave me here?! While I'm like this?!" (Y/N) sassily inquired, stopping the giant in his tracks. "Why not?? You're not some helpless little kid." he responded, to which she knew translated into another silent compliment. She understood that he thought that even like this she could handle herself just fine, and he wasn't a dunce, so she knew he meant it. "I know... but still, I'm still trying to get used to everything and, would you at least find me someone else safe to stay with?" she secretly hoped deep down that no one else would be able to, but she definitely wasn't going to admit that aloud whilst around him.
The Pomeranian let out a long sigh after glancing at his nightstand clock. "Tch- fine." He slung his duffle bag over his shoulder, then lazily grabbed his shrunken classmate in his fist before she could protest, his large fingers wrapping around her stomach and waist so as to not grip her anywhere that would restrain her or make her uncomfortable, being respectful in his own way. "Hey!!" She cried out in surprise, pressing against his hands. "You're fine." He told her, though he made sure his grip was loose enough he wasn't crushing her, but she couldn't get loose either.
"I never said you could just grab me!!" She objected, "And I never asked." He replied, walking out and into the hallway, toward the common room. (Y/N) just sulked, resting her head on her hands, elbows braced against the giant’s hand that wrapped carefully around her. As they walked in, the three boys from earlier plus Deku, Mina, Ochako, and Iida were all up and about. "OI! Extras!!" Bakugo yelled as he walked in, getting the attention of everyone there. "Who here can watch Flower Face for today??" He asked, waltzing up to the counter where he promptly set her down. (Y/N) stumbled, startled by the sudden and rough motion, trying to regain her balance. The eyes of everyone in the room popped from their heads, save the three boys who put her in the predicament to begin with.
Deku was the first to talk, followed by Iida, then Ochako, then Mina.
"Is that-?!"
"(Y/N)!?"
"Woah!! How'd she get so small!?"
"So cute!!! What happened!???"
Bakugo let out a long, exasperated breath. "I don't know ok?? I just found her like this in the halls." He explained. Midoryia quickly fell to his knees, making himself eye level with the tiny as he gripped the edge of the counter, in absolute awe. "This is amazing!? Do you know what happened!?" He asked, his excitement enough to make it appear almost as if he were glowing.
(Y/N) stumbled back when he got so close so fast, his already large green eyes suddenly so much bigger. "Uh- well I was just fine when I woke up this morning, then I suddenly just got sick and shrunk..." She told him, still a little unsure of his enthusiasm, simply because of the drastic size difference.
"Wait, wait!! (Y/N,Y/N)!!! Could I hold you!?" Mina squealed, bouncing up and down, holding her hands out. the small girl was just about to answer when Bakugo stepped in. "Jeez, give her some space! She's still a living being and you guys are being super invasive." he growled, growing slightly protective, "And don't be so loud, she has smaller ears now you know." He added, hand raised as if he were ready to slip it in between them and the small. The others stopped to look up at him before realizing that they really must have been overwhelming her. "S-sorry!!" Deku cried, jumping back, "I guess I didn't stop to think how that may have made you feel, (Y/N), I'm sorry..." He said with a apologetic and flustered smile, rubbing his hands nervously. "No... You didn't..." Bakugo scoffed, making the poor boy feel worse. "It's alright, I know you didn't mean to." She chuckled, feeling slightly bad about Bakugo's unnecessary persistent comment.
"Now who here can be responsible and take care of her?? I have stuff I need to get to so hurry up." The grumpy teen curtly explained, leaning against the counter. Deku gave another apologetic smile, "Sorry... I can't today...." He said before looking at the clock, "I have to be somewhere in- IM LATE!!!" He jumped upon seeing the time, grabbing his stuff and running out the door. The girls watched with stifled giggles, "Sorry, we had a girls' day planned for today." Uraraka explained, Mina nodding, "Speaking of which, we need to go wake the others if they're gonna be ready in time!" she added, Uraraka nodding vigorously as they both jogged off. "What about you three?! You've been weirdly quiet." The Pomeranian growled at the culprits. Denki startled, "Uh- yeah well I have to go see my mom...." He said before running out the door, earning exasperated looks from Kirishima and Sero as he bailed on them. "Sorry Bakubro, gym day.." Kirishima said as he casually got up and quickly left, already in workout clothes and sneakers.
(Y/N) watched as one by one, they each left, the chances of her having to stay with Bakugo growing, along with the nervous butterflies in her stomach. Then Iida piped up, "Don't worry, Bakugo, I will gladly keep watch on-"
"Oop- Iida was going to go visit his brother today!! And I have elsewhere to be!!" Sero interrupted him, clamping a hand down on his mouth and dragging him out of the common room.
Bakugo growled, "WHAT!? YOU CAN'T ALL BE BUSY TODAY!!! YOU LITTLE BRATS, GET BACK HERE!!!" He cried as they left, "Tch-!!" The man was beside himself, they really just left him to watch over her. "Come on Bakugo, I can't be that bad!!" (Y/N) laughed, though part of her felt slightly hurt that he seemed so reluctant to spend time with her. The ash blonde teen rolled his eyes, "Not that bad?? Taking care of your sorry butt would be easy, but it gets annoying when I have to do it while doing hero work..." He grumbled, "I don't have time for this!!" he said, gripping the bridge of his nose. "Oh... Well, I won't be much trouble!!" (Y/N) pressed, still determined to go with him. It'd be better than staying here all day where she wouldn't be able to do anything. The boy just stared at her long and hard before he grumbled, grabbing his bag again and holding his hand out. The tiny girl stared at it for a moment before her face lit up and she looked up at him with a glittering smile, "Wait- I can-!?" She started to ask before he glared, face heating up as he tried to ignore the throbbing in his chest at the sight of her so stoked to go with him. "Hurry up will ya, I already told you I'm in a rush!!" He complained, trying hard to hide the faint coloring in his cheeks.
(Y/N) enthusiastically jumped on, wrapping her hands around his soft yet rough fingers. Bakugo walked out of the building and towards The Best Jeanist's agency. Bakugo had agreed to work with him for a short time whilst he looked for a more permanent position, all under the condition that he wouldn't wear those cursed skinny jeans or have his hair combed back. "Before we get there and I'm officially on patrol and whatever, we'll need to get some things straight. I'm not babysitting you." He stated, still holding his hand up and out where she sat. The girl turned to look back at him as he spoke. "You and I both know you're not some flimsy little pansy, so if you get in a tough spot don't expect me to come in and save you right away, you'll have to be fine holding off as long as you can, got that??" He asked, her nodding her head. (Y/N) noticed he was a little more straightforward with her and honest about his thoughts, a privilege that only she and Kirishima shared. As the thought occurred she couldn't help but blush.
"Oi, earth to Flower Face!!"
His voice broke her train of thought. "Oh!! yeah??" She responded, finally coming to. "I'm getting tired of holding you like this." He told her as he kept walking. "Oh!! Sh-should I move??" she asked, not wanting to do anything without his say so. "Well I didn't tell you just to waste my breath now did I?" He replied, it being as much of an 'okay' as she'd get. "Right!! Is your shoulder okay??" She asked to which he didn't answer other than lifting his hand closer up to his shoulder. Carefully, she climbed on and quickly situated herself to be standing with some of his blonde fluffy hair clutched in her fists to help support her. Bakugo kept walking, seemingly thinking to himself the most of the time, so (Y/N) made herself busy braiding his hair into tiny, spiky braids that followed the natural flow of his messy head. Before she knew it she had braided everywhere she could reach from his right shoulder. 'It'd look weird if I left his hair like this...' she thought to herself, her natural next move being to braid the rest. She grasped each soft clump of hair to keep her from falling as she moved with careful feet to the back of his neck.
As she began to cross she felt him shiver as it quite obviously tickled, his neck and shoulders tensing beneath her feet. "What the heck are you doing??" He asked, the tiny's foot holds vibrating with the hum of his voice. (Y/N) looked down at his feet that kept pace, coming behind him just enough to push off and into the next step. "Oi, What are you up to you little dummy!" He asked again, this time getting her full attention, "Just wanted to see what this'd be like!" She exclaimed, carefully testing to see if his shirt collar would support her. "Yeah well don't get used to it!! And don't fall, you've already made me late enough!!" The Pomeranian warned her as she looked out over the ground they had covered. "Ok!" She chirped back, before getting to work on his hair.
Crossing each large tuft over the other she soon reached the smaller hairs along the base of his neck that were too small to braid. The tiny girl ran her hands through the far softer, finer hairs that bristled straight up. "So soft!!!" She giggled quietly to herself, eventually burying her face in the fluff and nuzzling the boy's neck.
Bakugo could feel everything the girl did. Truth was that he had been thinking to himself around the beginning of the walk but as tiny fingers began working through his hair, his mind wandered to them. He couldn't tell what exactly she was doing but it felt good and he thought it was kinda cute. She was the only person, other than maybe Weird Hair, that he wouldn't yell at for doing this, plus he knew she was a very hygienic person. Though he grew curious as he could feel tiny hands and feet ever so carefully creeping toward the back of his neck. Bakugo could tell as hands tickled the base of his neck where the baby hairs were and heard her praise his hair. He couldn't help but scowl harder in an attempt to hide the blush that painted itself across his cheeks. Soon something a little bigger than the minuscule fingers began to nuzzle against him. Shivers ran up his back and goosebumps broke his skin in a mixture of tickle and good feeling sensations washed over him.
"Hey!! No one said you could just do whatever you want back there!!!" The ash blonde growled, reaching back and plopping her on his other shoulder. "Sorry!" She laughed as his hand let go of her and she fell flat on her stomach. "oof-" She let out a little noise before pushing herself back up and looking up at the side of his face which was still very hot. "DUDE YOUR EARS ARE SO RED!!" She exclaims with a snicker, startled by the sudden change in color. "SHUT UP, IT'S JUST A SUNBURN!!" He roared back, shoving his hands deeper into his pockets. "That's a fast sunburn!!!" She retorted to which she could see a sneer curl at his lips, "You're about to get a fast burn...." He threatened.
(Y/N) shrugs it off and doesn't think much of it, beginning to work at his hair again. "What are you doing anyway???" He snarled after some time to which she realized just how ticked he'd be if he knew she was doing this. "N-nothing.... just- playing with your hair, you know...... fluffing it and stuff." She responded, turning sheet white. "Just don't do anything stupid or I'll blow your sad little butt to shreds." He tells her impatiently, to which she nods, continuing the braids slowly now. "Yep, definitely nothing stupid." She added, only adding to the blonde boy's suspicions. "Yeah, whatever." He sighed, rolling his blood red eyes as he kept walking.
At last the braids were done, and (Y/N) thought they looked amazing!!! She couldn't help but giggle and feel proud as she looked at their reflection in a window of a building they walked by. "Eh?? What's so funny?" The boy asked as he twisted his head to look at his tiny crush. The little girl was still grabbing his hair for support, so when Katsuki turned his head, (Y/N) lost her grip and wobbled before falling back and onto the giant's face. "Hey-Woah!!" She cried as she tipped back and fell against his nose and mouth to which he startled, clearly not expecting her to latch onto him for dear life. "HEY!!!" He hollered, making her grab tighter to his nose as her foot caught in his mouth. "GET OFF ME!!" He then began trying to grab at her. "I'M TRYING!!!" she shot back, her surprised but feisty, small, glittering eyes, meeting his much larger, glaring red ones.
He managed to grab her in his fist and give her quite the look. "WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT FOR, HUH!!!???" He bellowed at the tiny that tightly gripped his fingers. "It wasn't on purpose!!" She countered, growing more and more conscious of the smoke that seeped from his palm and the rapid heat that generated around her as well. Bakugo's response came with a hard glare. "Well then be more careful idiot!!! I don't want you all over my face, who knows where on this blasted planet you've been!!" "No, you should be more careful!!!! I was fine till you tried to look at me without giving me any warning!!!" She corrected Bakugo quickly, earning a huff and a growl as he looked away for a moment. "Well I'm not gonna tell you every time I wanted to turn my own blasted head...." He didn't answer any more despite his softened attitude. He knew she was right and that he was letting his anger get the best of him.
"So are you gonna carry me in your hand again, Pufferfish??" The tiny girl asked. Bakugo scoffed, "Well you're not going back on my shoulder." He responded curtly, shoving her down in the pockets of his baggy jeans.
Once again, she was plunged into an ocean of cloth, only this time she was pressed up against his hand that rested casually beside her. Put out, the small girl began squirming around against his hand and in the pocket to get comfortable. "The heck you doing??" She heard his grumpy voice ask, and she promptly ignored him, wiggling into the inside of his hand and pressed herself to the Pomeranian's palm and fingers. She heard him scoff lightly before his hand curled inward and around her. She smiled and snuggled into his rough, work worn hand. She allowed her eyes to pull heavily closed, the swaying motion of Bakugo's walking soothing her.
(Y/N) awoke suddenly to being squished against the giant's leg by his hand briefly. "Oi, Watch it." His voice angrily chided. It was clear she had fallen asleep given that she could hear the sounds of a bus humming and every step seemed to drop her lower and lower before she could hear the vehicle start and drive off. How long she had been asleep, she didn't know, but the miniature girl was tired of being carried around in Bakugo's pocket. "Hey!!" (Y/N) began trying to climb up his arm before he pulled his hand out, leaving her in his loose pocket by herself. "Bakugo!!" She whined, trying to pull herself out before failing.
Bakugo was getting off the bus as a stranger got on, slamming into his side where the tiny was in his pocket. "Oi!!! Watch it!" he barked at them, silently hoping that she was okay. She had fallen asleep quite a while back and he was now at The Best Jeanist's agency when he heard her call from his pocket. "Hey!!" (Y/N)'s small and soft voice chirped. He could feel her pulling herself out, but he needed her to stay hidden or Jeanist might try to confiscate her, saying it wouldn't be smart to take a tiny girl like her on a hero patrol. So he paid her no mind as he pulled his hand out without her to open the building's doors. "Bakugo~~" She continued to complain and protest as he walked in, heading straight to check in with his temporary mentor. "Shuddup." He said quietly, cupping one hand to his pocket to keep her from wriggling around too much, clearly having the opposite effect. "Quit it alright?? I'll let you out in a minute," The giant whispered harshly, bopping the little body in his pocket gently. Luckily she stopped moving and he was able to get his patrol route and head to the changing rooms.
After a while of him walking something began poking hard against his leg. He was confused at what she was doing before he figured that she was probably kicking him. Bakugo ignored the little human who continued to relentlessly jab at him until her protests began to come a little too close to a certain sensitive area he did not want to be kicked in. His eyes widened and he quickened his pace to reach the privacy of the changing room as each rough nudge seemed to creep closer and closer to his midsection.
He swiftly threw open one of the locker room doors and dashed inside, setting his duffle bag down and quickly fishing the girl out right as she threw a hard kick. His hand tightened around her harder than he meant as he folded in half. Her small size did not affect her strength in the slightest. Bakugo then shakily pulled (Y/N) from his pockets and gave her a murderous glare. She looked up at him absolutely clueless as to what she had just done, her face a mix of confusion and surprise. "Dude..... Y-you okay????" She asked with furrowed brows. "Im fine." He responded in a strained voice, "But I'd be better if you didn't plant your gosh darn foot between my legs." He added, rage trickling into his voice with each word.
The tiny's eyes grew large as understanding dawned on her, "WAIT FOR REAL!!??" She quickly lost it, wheezing and choking on her laughs at the giant's misfortune. He held his breath for a few moments, resisting the urge to squeeze her just enough to get her to stop laughing and maybe, just maybe exact some extent of revenge. "Would you quit that?! It's not funny, alright!?" He yelled as she continued to laugh and apologize, "Sorry, I just-" she giggled, tears streaming down her face. "You don't sound gosh darn sorry!" He growled before setting her down roughly on the bench beside the bag. "Just be quiet, alright??" He snarled, unzipping it and pulling out his costume.
"Why didn't you let me out??" She asked carefully, calming herself, but not wanting to upset him any further as he remained still somewhat bent in half. "Because Greasy Hair would try to take you if he knew you were here." He told her, quickly pulling off his shirt to which she just stared, "Dang~." (Y/N) cut herself off face turning bright pink as she looked up at the boy's well built, bare chest. "You look like you work out, do you work out??? Would you like to work out together sometime???" She asked, making him roll his eyes as he tossed his shirt onto her. "Don't make this weird alright??" He told her, taking the opportunity to swap his pants whilst she tried to crawl out of the sweaty cloth.
"Hey!!" She squawked, pulling herself from the shirt and looking to see him sitting on the floor and pulling his boots on. She opted to just sit and watch as he put on the rest of his outfit. The room didn't have a mirror so he had to blindly do his eyeliner that he used to make the area around his eyes black and fit in with his mask.
"You missed a spot," The tiny chimed as he picked up the mask, about to tie it to his face. "Eh? Where."
"Right there."
"Here?"
"No!"
"Well I'm gonna need something a little more specific than 'there'."
"Here, let me get it." She offered. Bakugo didn't respond, only leaned in close to the bench so she could reach his face. "Right here." She responded, stepping forward and placing her tiny hands on the soft skin beneath his eyes to carefully spread the thick black makeup. He didn't close his eyes while she did this, the giant blood red spheres just followed her every movement. The minuscule girl couldn't help but look back up and into his large eyes, every detail becoming very visible. Being this close up to his face, she had to admit, made her heart hiccup. She watched his large pupils dilate as they stared at her, shifting ever so slightly with his studying her tiny form. It was hypnotizing....
"You done??" His voice broke the silence, puffing a small, warm breath across her little body. "Oh, Yeah!!!" She replied, stepping back as he pulled away, tying on his mask. "Thanks I guess," He muttered before scooping her up in gloved hands, far more gently than the last few times- er- all the other times.
"Whoah!" She let her surprised reaction slip from her lips as she was tucked into the hero's belt loop, typically where a grenade would hang. "ah- This isn't very comfortable you know..." she complained, trying to change her position as she was held up by the strap that ran across her chest and under her arms. "Well you've pretty much lost the privilege to ride anywhere else." The ash blonde told her, opening the door and marching out and into the streets, though he walked with a bit of an awkward limp, presumably from her kick. "I'm not a baby, Come on!!!" She proceeded to whine at his stubborn responses. "You may not be one, but you get into about as much trouble as one." He responded as he walked, not even throwing her a glance. (Y/N) let out a huff equal to her size.
Things seemed pretty uneventful as Bakugo walked around, snapping at the occasional fan, and pretty much just marched around his route, with his tiny classmate hanging from his belt. Surprisingly enough, hardly anyone seemed to notice her. Two or three people did and Bakugo easily passed it off as her being his 'sidekick' or 'partner' but that was the most interesting thing to happen so far.
That is.... until a commotion broke loose...
A building not too far from them suddenly exploded as the side wall flew outwards in thousands of pieces, causing the explosive boy's head to whip around, a crazed grin stretching across his facial features, "Finally!" He cheered, a little too eagerly, as he took off running. (Y/N) was being shaken up and down violently by the mere motion of the giant's sprint. Suddenly they lurched forward as Bakugo rocketed forward with his own explosions, landing just a few feet from a startled bystander, "WHATS GOING ON!?" The angry Pomeranian demanded, startling the poor man even further. "I- I- I don't know!! I was just on my way back from the-" "I don't need to know that crap! It blew up, I know!!" He cut the man off quite rudely as he took to a speedy sprint toward the source of the panic.
As they approached the explosion sight, three figures could be seen coming through the smoke. "We've done it!! Now hurry up and let's get out of here before the pros arrive!!!" One masculine voice could be heard, followed by two more voices, one sounding male, the other female. "Sure thing!!" "Less chatting, more scramming!"
Bakugo couldn't resist the urge but to call out, "Not so fast!! Where do you brats think you're going?!" He taunted with the same frightening smile. "go." The first voice instructed and the other two bolted. The tallest of the bunch stayed, presumably the first to speak.
"Mind your own business kid, this doesn't concern you." He said sharply, raising one arm before it came whistling through the air, stretching out like a whip. Bakugo reacted quickly, using his own blasts to flip over the on coming threat right before it slammed into a nearby pile of debris with a sickening crack. "LIKE I GIVE A CARE!!" The hero in training shouted back, one hand held protectively in front of (Y/N). The figure paused before approaching, the long tentacle-like arm retracting into the thick fog and by their side. "Well then, I suppose I've warned you proficiently..." The figure mused, emerging from the dense aerial soot with a slow but powerful stride, "I have no intention of killing one so young, but I can't make promises, the fight tends to get away from me..." He added early with a sickening grin as he came into the light enough to tell the details.
The man was staggeringly tall with shaggy but well kept black hair, he had a long scar that ran up the night side of his face, painting one of his striking blue eyes a milky, blind white. He wore a battered suit and tie, dress shoes replaced by heavy duty combat boots. Two strange scars crept up from the corners of his mouth to his long pointed ears; sharp fang looking things jutted from the scar.
Bakugo couldn't help but smile wider as the man approached, "Same here, Bean Pole." He chuckled, more under his breath than out loud.
Then, with a loud ripping noise, The villain's arms split into many different tentacles, all rushing forward hastily. Bakugo blew up each one as they reached him, smoke and flame firing off in all directions with ear splitting noises. Bakugo grew careless, excitedly flipping and spinning about, propelling himself dramatically with his hand explosions that were each aimed strategically at on coming tentacles and arms that swung about with startling amounts of force.
It was then that he didn’t notice a particular limb until it slammed into him from behind, knocking the air from him as he was flung toward the ground, flinging the tiny (Y/N) from his belt just before he hit the ground.
(Y/N) watched as the world whirled about her as she fell, the wind whistling loudly in her tiny ears as the unknown of how far she’d fall threatened to plant fear in her chest. Reacting quickly she covered herself in cushioned mushrooms that bounced her gently whilst her tiny form rolled across the ground.
Peaking one eye open she shook the shrooms from her body and looked around in hopes to study her current situation. With shaky legs she stood and observed Bakugo swiftly standing and quickly checking his side where she was previously, he looked panicked as he looked around himself and even under his boots, and where he sat. “Crud-“
“What’s wrong??” The figure asked tauntingly as he walked closer, cradling one particularly burned tentacle close to his body as the others crept closer to the panic stricken hero. "You lose something??? Aww~ That's too bad isn't it... especially since you're about to lose consciousness as well...."
The pale blonde whirled on the villain, firing a barrage of explosive shots at him, each one hitting a tentacle and the villain in the head. The man let out startled cries of pain and surprise before shaking it off, "You little-" He started before Bakugo flew at him with outstretched hands that crackled and spat sparks. "I'll make you pay you filthy low life!!" The hero spat, pouncing on the man who deftly dodged and defended himself against the explosive demon boy that tore at him like a feral animal.
(Y/N)'s eyes widened as she observed the giants fight. She had to help, but she couldn't get close, or she'd risk getting crushed. That's when it occurred to her. She looked down at where she stood to see exposed dirt.
Perfect!
Placing her hands on the ground, they glowed a bright green and long, dark vines began to creep along the ground quickly, toward the two who fought. With careful control she aloud the plants to ensnare the tall man and slowly entangle themselves around his body. "What the?!" Both men asked in confusion but Bakugo's eyes quickly widened with relief and realization as he remembered your quirk.
The villain snapped the vines quickly, "How do you have two quirks?!" He asked in astonishment and confusion before his eyes caught that the plants crept from a further and smaller human form. "Isn't it obvious?! Cause I'm the best gosh darn hero this world will ever see!!" Bakugo yelled back, not wanting him to know about his minuscule classmate and crush who was somewhere he was unaware of.
Narrowing his eyes, he focused all his extensive arms on the explosive teen, cocooning him quickly before tossing him off to the side brutally. He then snapped his head to glare at the tiny girl. (Y/N) startled as the villain walked slowly but steadily toward her, stunning eyes fixated on her. She quickly looked behind herself, silently praying that he was looking at someone or something else. But when she turned to look back he was bolting toward her, long arms outstretched.
The small girl let out a startled scream as she turned to run the other way before one of the scaly limbs wrapped itself around her and pulled her off the ground. "So you have an accomplice!" The villain chimed, turning to look back at Bakugo who was standing up from a pile of crumbled stone, one hand clutched to his side.
Bakugo's eyes widened with genuine fear once they spotted the small. He began to run at the villain with startling speed, "GET YOUR FILTHY LITTLE-"
"Uh-uh -uh! I wouldn't do that if I were you!!" The man teased maliciously, tightening his grip on the girl's small form as the scars opened themselves along his jawline to reveal a startlingly larger mouth full of dagger-like teeth. (Y/N) paled. "Make one wrong move and I'll make sure she isn't a problem.... got that??" he asked, still with a sickeningly terrifying grin playing across his facial features.
Bakugo skidded to a stop, growling as he was left in quite the predicament. "What the heck do you want then....." He asked through gritted teeth, his glare hardening on the criminal. "Let us go and I'll give your friend back." He responded before continuing, "I'm going to take her with me to make sure you don't follow, because if you do...." the man trailed off, flashing a very toothy grin.
Bakugo just glared back, carefully running ideas and scenarios through his head as to how to get his tiny friend back without getting her hurt or putting her in any more risk.
(Y/N) on the other hand gripped the villain's arm that held her and let her quirk go crazy, sapping his energy as thorns exploded across his body, rapidly tangling and ensuring him and each other.
The blonde took the opportunity to jump on the villain whilst he struggled against his restraints, roughly pulling the small woman from his grasp and striking him unconscious. "Stupid extra." He spat under his breath before returning his attention to his miniature crush. "You miss me??" She asked with a bright smile despite her shaky voice, to which he turned her in his hand, setting her on his palm. He began checking her up and down for potential injuries, poking, prodding and feeling at her with careful fingers, "You break anything, idiot??" he asked, avoiding her question, and hiding just how petrified he had been for her safety.
The tiny giggled as he hit some ticklish spot and swatted at his large fingers. "Yeah, i'm fine!!! it'd take more than some creepy Slender-Man dude to take me out!!" She told him to which he sighed, giving the thorn ball on the ground a rough kick. "Yeah, whatever, come on, we can't let those other guys get away." He told her, looking down at himself for a safer spot to place her.
(Y/N) watched him study himself, noticing that the braids were still intact. Honestly a beautiful sight!
"You know what, i don't even care anymore!" He grumbled, interrupting her train of thought and quickly plopping her onto his head, "Grow some dumb vines to secure yourself or something." He told her, marching off before breaking into a full sprint in the direction the other villains had gone. "Wait what about that other guy??" She asked, quickly growing some vines off his head to secure her tightly to him. "What, Bean Pole?! That dunce is done for, the other heroes will take care of him." He chuckled darkly as he continued to run, following a strange trail of blue slimy residue footsteps.
(Y/N) just lied back into the tall, crazy, spiky blonde hair. There was a stunning amount of it and its ridiculously soft texture made it clear that it held its messy composure without any kind of gel or treatment. Good gracious was she glad she didn't have shoes. She couldn't help but wiggle her feet back and forth through his silky tufts, fluffing strands and clumps of it through her hands and against her face as well.
Bakugo knew full well what she was doing and smiled softly to himself as he kept running, doing his best to ignore the burning in his ears as they turned red.
Soon they could hear voices...
"Do we just wait here for the boss???'
"Duh, what else would we do?!"
"Well, what if he got caught?"
"By that kid?! Please, Kanja Kaijuise wouldn't get taken down by a silly little twerp like that, just be patient, he said to wait here so we will." a feminine voice chided in an annoyed tone in response to the nervous male one.
Bakugo gave a sadistic grin at their confidence in their leader. “You should watch who you're calling a ‘Silly little twerp’!” He yelled, swinging himself around the corner with a powerful blast, using both legs to kick the two from behind, knocking them to the ground where he pinned them by standing on them. “WHAT THE-?!” They both exclaimed in surprise, grunting as they were pinned beneath the ash blonde teen. “IM GONNA BLOW YOU TWO IDIOTS ALL THE WAY TO HELL...." he rasped harshly in their ears. The woman was stronger built than the guy and her skin was a transparent, glossy blue. "I'd like to see you try, punk!!" She hissed though she didn't seem to have any mouth. And just like that she flattened beneath his feet, upsetting his balance briefly. "What on earth??" He muttered as a large, sticky blue puddle and empty clothes replaced the woman.
Like water, the strange substance began to sift from between Bakugo's feet and took shape behind him. Suddenly a sharp pain connected with the back of the boy's head, sending him flying forward. Miraculously, he stopped himself before he ended up crushing (Y/N) who gripped onto his hair with surprising strength, tearing at his hair ever so slightly. "You alright Flower Face??" He asked, hands cupped over his head before a shaky answer came, "Y-yeah, never better!! Just focus on kicking this girl's butt!!" She squeaked, gaining a very eager grin from the giant, "Alright then, hold on tight!!" He warned. She tightened her grip before he flinched, "Ow, ow, ow, not that hard dummy!!!" He winced at the feeling of his hair being yanked at.
Turning to face his opponent, he was met by the sight of the women, her entire body made from the blue, glossy slime. It looked as if she wore a loose body suit as the goop lacked any other details. The blonde grinned, sparks popping sporadically, from his palms, "Come at me!!!" He jeered, both crouching down into battle stances.
"RAHHH!!!!" The woman let out a fierce battle cry, rushing forward and morphing around Bakugo's attacks, delivering heavy blows in return. The giant boy coughed and grunted, catching a second wind before sprinting at his sludge-like enemy. "DIE!" He bellowed, utterly missing again.
(Y/N) on the other hand acted quickly in an act of desperation, she generated a long twisted, horned vine and allowed it to fall back around the woman in attempt to trip or snag her, though it caught around her neck, and went right through the glop, severing her head from the rest of her body in a way that looked a great deal like cutting jello. The rest of her body completely melted. The tiny was left star struck and terrified of what she had just done. That was, until the woman's head touched ground and the rest of her quickly formed back. "OH MY-" her breath caught in her throat as she witnessed what she had thought had just been her own manslaughter. But that's when it clicked, "BAKUGO!! I KNOW HER WEAKNESS!!! ONLY THE SLIME CONNECTED TO HER HEAD CAN BE CONTROLLED, SO IF YOU SHRINK HER DOWN YOU CAN BEAT HER!!!" The minuscule girl yelled, making the boy's eyes snap in realization.
It had happened so quickly, all within the time the giant stopped his missed punch and whirled around to see her form again. "I KNEW THAT DANG IT, JUST SHUT UP AND DON'T GET YOURSELF SPOTTED!!!" He yelled back, "Don't tell me to-!!" "I SAID SHUT UP AND DIIIIEEEE!!!!!" The hero whirled on the woman, this time, using her dodging tactics to blow up or kick off small amounts of goop at a time, instead of trying to blast her face into the floor. With each quick, controlled blow strategically taking out inches at a time, they fought till he towered over the woman who stood at only 3-4 inches tall. "Heh heh heh heh, whatcha gonna do now pipsqueak?!" He asked with a devilish grin, having her backed against a wall. "You should watch who you're talking to you little-" She was cut short as Bakugo slammed a glass bottle over top of her, trapping her inside. "Can it!" He laughed maliciously at his own pun. She let out a frustrated growl as she banged slimy fists against the glass whilst Katsuki pocketed it in one of his heavy duty pockets on his pant legs, filled with other gear and equipment. He turned to see that the other villain was gone. "Coward!" He rolled his eyes with a click of his tongue. "at least he left the money,..." The boy muttered,. "Oi, Flower Face, you still alive??" he asked to which she answered sassily, "Psh- Yeah!!" she chirped whilst he sighed, grabbing the many, heavy duffle bags off the ground, slinging some over his back, the others over his shoulder, and the last two in his arms.
With a light grunt, he lifted the loot and marched back toward where the fight initially broke loose, where the other pro heroes and police were inspecting things and indeed dealing with the so nick-named "Bean Pole".
"Dynamight!!" a voice called as he marched over. "Eh?" He grumbled as a news reporter rushed over, "It seems you single handedly took out the leader of the villains responsible for this attack!! What can you tell the rest of us!?" The lady asked before practically shoving the mic into his face.
"Well (A, I took down two of those gosh darn villains, and got the money back, (B, i didn't do it alone, so get your stupid facts right." He finished his snide remark before shoving past her and marching steadily toward the police. "What are you talking about 'didn't do it alone', i didn't do squat!!" The tiny asked, genuinely confused. "Well, you wrapped Bean Pole in thorns and helped me figure out how to beat Pipsqueak, didn't you??" He asked, though it came out as more of a declaration. (Y/N) just smiled.
After a long chat with the cops about the third man, Bakugo handed the slime girl over to them, along with the stolen goods. Then they finished up an otherwise uneventful patrol and headed back to Best Jeanist's where the blonde would check in, change back into normal clothes and head home for the day.
Bakugo walked into the agency, no longer determined to hide his miniature crush as he had already gone on patrol so it didn't matter anymore. He reported quickly with Jeanist who was, as the boy predicted, angry that he had brought her along but couldn't do much about it any more.
He then went into the changing rooms, this time getting one with a mirror. "Alright, as soon as we get back to the dorms, i'm-!!!" "THE HECK!?" "DID YOU DO THIS YOU LITTLE FUN SIZED PUNK!?" The ash blonde giant roared, staring in horror at the neat little braids that followed the sides of his head all the way around.
(Y/N) paled, "Um well-"
"YOU SCRUFFY LITTLE BRAT!! YOU BETTER UNDO THESE THINGS OR I'LL UNDO YOU!!!"
"NOOO!!!! They look so cuuuute~!"
"I'M NOT TRYING TO LOOK STINKIN CUTE!! YOU HAD BETTER GET THESE ABOMINATIONS OUT OF MY HAIR!!!"
"Can we leave them-"
"NO! WE MAY NOT! NOW GET. THEM. OUT."
Bakugo was livid with her and clenched her in a hot, smoking fist as she was forced to undo the little braids that were far too small for his large fingers to fix. Though unknown to him was the fact that she left a particularly favorite one of hers in the back, where he couldn't see. "No way I'm letting you anywhere near my hair again!!" He snarled, earning a complaining whine from her. "And if you freaking kick me I will kill you..." the explosive giant growled as he stuffed the tiny (Y/N) into his pocket after having changed back into his clothes.
(Y/N) knew full well that he'd send her flying if she did so, though she didn't plan to. Instead, she made herself busy playing with pieces of lint, like one might a cloud or cotton candy, squishing and shaping it in her hands.
Sooner than she would have thought the sound of a door opening and closing caught her attention. "Hey!! Are we home!?" She asked, standing on his thumb to peak out of the pocket. Her question was answered simply by looking around. They were in a simple convenience store. "Tch- Whats it look like??" He asked with a click of his tongue. "Wait, I thought we were gonna head back to the dorms?" She asked to which her classmate let out an annoyed sigh, "We are, dummy, I just wanted to grab some snacks to eat before we get back."
"What do you mean?? You already have a snack!!"
"Eh? what- that plain crap ramen and potato chips back home?? I'm not eating that trash-"
"No, you've got me!!! I'm a hot pocket!!!!"
"..."
"Cause I'm hot! And I'm in a pocket!!!" Bakugo just stared at her with a blank expression as she returned one that clearly stated that she knew full well and was proud of her bad pun. She could have sworn his cheeks and ears turned red though, "Are you blush-" "Shuddup!!! Just pick something out already so we can check out!!" He yelled, turning to look away from his pocket and hide his face as his hand shifted beneath her, catching her tiny figure in his palm as he lifted her out of his pocket. (Y/N) decided not to push, but the thought alone that her comment had made him blush caused a hot pink to dust her cheeks whilst her heart swelled.
Bakugo carried her around the small gas station store to pick out some sweets and snacks. A certain treat caught the tiny's eye, "OOO, GRAB THOSE (fav unhealthy snack)!!!" "Are you serious!? Do you know the havoc those things can wreak on your body!?" He asked, disgust lacing his tone. "Yes!!! NOW GIMME!!!" Bakugo rolled his eyes, "Fine, just know I'm not gonna let this be all you eat, you better save room for something healthy!! There's no way I'm letting you eat too much of this junk!!" He chides, (Y/N) just laughing at his comment. "ok, I won't say no to that!!" she giggled.
After picking out some stuff for her, Bakugo bee-lined for the spicy ramen and other hot snack foods, grabbing some ghost pepper potato chips, dried chili peppers, and spiced almonds. "You want some food with that hot sauce??" The tiny asked with a sarcastic little scoff. "Ha!! This is the mild stuff!!!" He said, grabbing a pack of Carolina reaper snack sticks off a shelf. "This.... is the good stuff!!" He spoke with a triumphant laugh as her eyes popped, looking at the pack of seasoned sausages he shook in his hand. "Holy crap man!! How can you even still taste anything!!??" "I can taste plenty fine, and you're gonna eat these with me!!" He laughed, tossing them into the little basket he held. The tiny girl paled as she looked down into the basket below her, sitting on the wrist of his hand that held it. "No way, and you can't make me!" She responded after a moment as they came up to the register. "Oh yeah!? We'll see about that, Flower Face!" he laughed, setting the ingredients and snacks they planned to purchase on the conveyor belt.
The cashier rang them up, casting countless looks and glances at the shrunken human that sat on Bakugo's shoulder. It clearly got on the hot head's nerves as he eventually yelled at the poor guy to stop staring. The adult got defensive and demanded that the temperamental boy give respect to his elders.
"Oh yeah!? And who are you to make me!?"
"Someone who can kick you out of here without your food!"
"Try me Spider!! You're looking at the future number one hero!!!"
"Number one hero!? You're not going to be squat with that attitude!"
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!? I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT AN ATTITUDE LOOKS LI-" The blonde was promptly cut short as the shrunken girl pressed both her hands against his face, squishing his cheek and getting him to stop. Bakugo had already gotten up and onto the counter, one leg propped up high the other ready to launch him forward as both hands sparked. "Sorry, he's a little hangry, if you'll pardon us we'll just pay for our food and get out of your hair!!" She apologized, still leaning against the boy's face.
The man just stared as Bakugo began angrily fishing the money from his back pocket with a sneer. "Fine whatever, just get out of my store already..." the cashier huffed. Bakugo clearly got angrier at this and moved to further threaten the man but (Y/N) pulled one of the blonde tufts of hair. "Come on, let's just go home and eat!" She urged before he snatched the bag of food and stomped out, "Whatever... " The small girl just let out a long sigh, "good grief..." she groaned with a soft chuckle.
Bakugo then began walking back to the dorms with her still on his shoulder.
They soon arrived and the teen went straight inside where they were met by the three from earlier who had started the whole thing. "Yo! Bakubro!! How was your time out!? Where'd you guys go?? What'd you do!?" "It was hero work." he replies, giving the red headed, Kirishima, a skeptic glare. "You took her on a hero patrol!?" Sero asked sitting up from his spot on one of the common room couches closer to the kitchen where the blonde set down the food. "Well what else was I supposed to do?! You idiots were all too busy to provide any other supervision... if what you would do could even be called that." he added with a click of his tongue, (Y/N) laughing at his comment, knowing full well how true it was. Denki piped in, "Yeah but how was it???" He asks with a sly grin. Bakugo's scrutinizing scowl returned, "Why do you three dummies care huh?" "No reason, no reason!!!" They all quickly shut him down, throwing each other glances. "Yeah right...." He muttered with a roll of his eyes before grabbing out a pot for the ramen with the tiny girl still perched on his shoulder.
(Y/N) just observed him start the boiling water, silently praying that he forgot his little vow to make her eat the spicy food. "Why the heck did you go quiet all of the sudden, huh?? Usually your mouth runs like a stinking river." The boy commented as he fished out an apron from a kitchen drawer. "Oh! I don't know, just watching I guess." she shrugs. "Yeah well, remember that you're technically not even supposed to be up there so just don't get too comfortable." The boy commented with a sharp exhale.
Bakugo then pulled the strap around his neck, unaware that it loosely wrapped around (Y/N) till he pulled it tight and she was yanked up against his throat. "Hey!!" She cried out in surprise as the previously loose strap suddenly came up and around her stomach, pulling her tight against the giant's neck. "Oi, What are you doing?" "Nothing! The apron strap got me!!" she laughed, gripping the cloth strap around her waist. "The strap-? oh." And with that it loosened and she was able to slip free.
"You alright?" His question startled her. It came softly, as if meant only for her ears, despite being close to the boy's voice box. "I- Yeah I'm ok, just startled me" The small giggled, discovering herself slightly flustered at the fact that he cared enough to ask, especially given that he did not often check on people like that. "Don't take it like that, gosh dang it! I just wasn't sure if it caught around your stupid windpipe or something!" He yelled, though looking up at the subtle color of his face told her otherwise. "I thought you said you knew I could handle myself!" (Y/N) was unable to resist another chance to tease him."Shut up!! Don't think I've forgotten about our little deal!! I'll spice it up just for you if you keep being a little pain in the neck!"
"heh- pain in the neck~"
"I said to shut it already!!"
The blonde then carefully retied the apron, sure to not get the tiny caught up in it this time. (Y/N) Just beamed as she ventured to stand, carefully placing a hand along his jaw. She enjoyed criticizing his cooking and pointing out the few tiny and unimportant mistakes or differences in cooking that he made; be it the way he chopped green onions, the way he de-shelled garlic, or his choice in extra seasonings, she nagged him over everything. It very clearly was ticking him off more and more as she just got a kick out of the whole thing.
"Fine!! I guess you want me to dice up some raw ghost peppers!!"
"NO!!! NO No No Noooo Nonononononono!!! I'll stop, I'll stop!!"
"Heh, that's what I thought, you little punk!"
"Don't be spiky! You porcupine!!!"
"Tch- spiky?! I can show you spiky if that's what you're wanting to see!!!" Bakugo kept on grumbling at her remarks.
"Oh I've seen plenty!!!" (Y/N) laughed before following up, "I wanna help cook." The giant blinked, not only was her comment off topic, but how did she expect to help cook when only a few inches tall? "Oh yeah?? How so??" "I don't know, but I feel like I haven't really done anything other than be carried around! I wanna help!" She pressed. It had been bothering her since they left the agency. "Alright, Peel the garlic then." He instructed, continuing to cook without giving her much of a way down from his shoulder. (Y/N) knew full well he wasn't going to stop unless she asked, silently giving her her wish of a chance to display her independence. "Okay!!" She cheered, waiting till his arm was hovering over the counter and near the garlic before she slid down, landing rather sloppily before standing back up with a laugh and dusting herself off. The tiny noticed a faint smile tugging at the corners of the blonde's mouth as she got to work on the garlic as he had requested.
She soon finished, and before she could say anything on the subject he scooped it up and plopped it onto the cutting board, promptly dicing it into tiny bits. "What next!?" She chirped. Bakugo scoffed, shaking his head lightly with a soft grin. "I need some of the chicken seasoning in the cabinet." He stated, nodding his head in gesture to the cabinet just above the floor and not too far from her. He felt he should test her with slowly bigger and bigger tasks.
(Y/N) took one glance and replied with a bright and determined smile, "Easy!"
And with that she jumped off the counter, sprouting a large and frilly flower from the soles of her feet, saving her from a dangerous fall. The giant teen watched her scurry across the floor from the corner of his eye, keeping tabs on her as he moved about the kitchen, careful to watch his feet.
The small girl swung the cupboard open with little effort, easily accessing its contents. The seasoning jar was about as big as her, so carrying it was the harder part of the ordeal. With a soft grunt she managed to lift it up and move it out and onto the floor where she rolled it up to Bakugo as he stirred their meal. "Got it!!" (Y/N) cheered in triumph.
"Took you long enough." He chided, her response coming back playfully, "Hey! I did really well given my size!!" The ash blonde just rolled his eyes as he picked the jar off the ground and added some of the dry mixture to the boiling liquid in the small pot.
"What else!?" "Eh? Now we just let it cook for a couple minutes, so why don't you make yourself useful and put stuff away." "Ok then!! Give back the chicken stuff!!!" With that, the giant set the jar on the floor before grabbing other items off the counter tops to return them to where they belonged.
(Y/N) watched the giant move around above her. Being on the floor was both terrifying and exciting. It was cool to watch him shuffle around from below, his feet being careful not to come too close to her, though he did occasionally step over her, his towering shape moving just overhead. She was quick to deftly put the dried herbs back into the cabinet. She then realized that everything else, including her friend and crush, were above her, and she was still on the floor.
She could either ask Bakugo for help, or further prove her independence and find a way up herself. The answer was obvious.
As the giant stood at the fridge, putting things away, (Y/N) took her chance. Moving quickly she climbed onto the boy's stationary feet, causing them to shift ever so slightly beneath her as he looked down to see his shrunken classmate. Bakugo just watched as the small began pulling herself up his pant leg til she reached his pocket where she managed to pull herself inside.
Bakugo couldn't help but smile at this. But he pretended not to notice, moving to grab two bowls of different sizes and serve the ramen. He then grabbed himself chopsticks and her a couple of toothpicks before he grabbed the bag of snacks. "Oi, Flower Face, Ready??" he asked, glancing down at his pocket where she peaked out, giving him a thumbs up. "Yup!!"
Bakugo marched up to his room, sending (Y/N) through another roller coaster of swaying motions. "We're going to your room??" "Yeah, so what?" "I just don't think I've ever seen it before if I'm being honest." "You were in here this morning..." "Oh yeah!! I guess I just didn't pay much attention then..." "Yeah, well then don't make it weird or I won't ever let you in again." He grumbled, opening the door and walking in.
His room, quite honestly, was an absolute aesthetic. The shelves were decorated by comic books and traditional books, he had some small string lights that draped over them too. Small succulent plants and potted cacti could be found here and there. His bed was up against one wall with storage underneath and in the headboard; a cork board hung above it. He had some posters up on the walls, some of U.A., others of All Might, and few of other topics. A laptop lay open on his desk, along with other supplies and small books. An open window allowed the wind to flow through the room. Over all the room's decorations were simple but homey, theming more around a sort of Lofi feel.
"DUDE!!! YOUR ROOM IS SO COOL!!! HOW COME YOU'VE NEVER LET ANYONE ELSE SEE IT BEFORE?!" "Tch- Because I never felt like it." He scoffed, setting the food down on the desk before clearing it up a little. "Well okay, but your room is so cool!!!!" She continued to compliment him. "Yeah yeah, now are we gonna eat this stuff or what??"
That's when (Y/N) remembered that the ramen was spicy, as in spicy spicy......
"Ohhhh.... Yeah.... Well-" She started before the explosive boy cut her off. "You're not bailing on me, are you?!" he taunted, flashing her a devious grin. "I- No!!" She shot back before realizing what she had done. "Good!" He laughed, pushing the small bowl forward. "Because this batch should be really good!" He chuckled darkly.
The bowl was gigantic in comparison to the tiny. There was no way she'd be able to eat all of it, though knowing Bakugo, he'd try and get her to eat as much as she possibly could. "Eat up Bite Size!" He coaxed, using a new nickname.
(Y/N) gave him one last foreboding glance before grabbing the makeshift chopsticks and lifting a noodle out of the bowl. Bakugo already had a full mouth and let a slight grunt of approval to the meal escape. "Well?! It's not going to eat itself!" He managed through his full mouth, finishing and quickly shoveling in another bite. "It's not even that spicy!!! Still pretty flavorful though." The small girl wasn't sure how much she trusted his judgement on that, but nonetheless she took a large bite.
Yup. It was bad.
The tiny human quickly swallowed it before exploding into a coughing fit, making Bakugo almost spray his food. Whilst (Y/N) fanned at her mouth frantically, tears began to well up in her eyes as her nose went bright red, becoming runny from the spice alone. "HOT HOT!!! OH HEAVENS THAT IS VERY VERY HOT!!!" She gasped and sputtered between coughs. "IT'S NOT THAT BAD!!!" The blonde giant guffawed at her predicament. "JUST GET ME FRIGGIN WATER!!!!" "FINE WHATEVER!!!" Bakugo was now choking on his own laughter as he got up and ran out of the room. Had he seriously not grabbed any kind of liquid before trying to get her to eat the stuff?! What was that idiotic brat of a gremlin boy thinking???!!! After what felt like eons of fiery mouth pain, he came back in, slowing from a run.
He dashed over, holding the large glass in his hands, moving to help her drink. In both their hurry to help (Y/N) with the spice, neither thought to be very careful, and the teen ended up drenching his friend in the process, tilting the still sloshing glass of water a little too much. "DUDE!!!" The girl yelled, getting more upset from the pain in her mouth than the actual water. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" The giant lost it, dropping the cup as it further soaked her. "BAKUGO!!!!!" She screeched, no longer in pain given that she choked on an entire wave, but now hopelessly soaked.
The laughing Katsuki lay face down on his desk, face in his folded arms as his shoulders heaved from his chortling fit. "DUDE! YOU SOAKED ME!!!" "Sorry~" He managed between laughs, "You don't sound sorry." She huffed, folding her arms and glaring at him. Bakugo didn't answer, he just kept laughing.
Despite being sopping wet, (Y/N) couldn't help but smile. He didn't smile much so it was really nice to see. "Well then, since it's so funny, you got me wet, you can dry off!" She exclaimed before throwing herself onto him and scrubbing herself against him furiously. "Hey, get off me idiot!" He half laughed, half yelled, still grinning wide. The miniature girl clung tight, burying into his sleeve and drying herself even more violently. "Dang it! Let go of bite size punk!" He cried, wrapping his fist around her and trying to pull her away with little to no success as she continued to stubbornly cling. "The heck!?" The giant pried and pried, but his best efforts weren't enough. "I'll dry you the fun way if you don't LET GO!!!!" He threatened, his fist becoming increasingly hot as both steam and smoke rose from between his knuckles. "BET!!!" And with that a sharp pain collided with her entire torso, predominantly where he had been gripping her. "OW!" She startled as a loud crack filled her ears and bright light obscured her vision, a strong wave of heat washing over her for a brief instant. "You asked for it you little brat!" he chuckled, dropping her roughly onto the desk whilst she shook herself from her daze. Her only response was to let out a few short coughs, still a little out-of-it from the blow.
"Tch-" Bakugo clicked his tongue, scoffing at the tiny. "Well... At least I'm dry and okay, but come on bro! What the heck!!" (Y/N) punched his hand that rested by her, causing him to flinch slightly. "Don't look at me Bite Size, I gave you fair warning!"
"..."
"That's what I thought, now hurry and finish your ramen!"
"FINISH MY- AFTER ALL THAT YOU THINK I REALLY WANT TO EAT THE REST OF THAT!?"
"Are you insulting my cooking?~" The question came dangerously, as if testing waters that were sure to be filled with sharks. "N-No!! It's good, it's just too hot for me!!" She exclaimed, as she began to lightly shiver from the cold of her still lightly damp clothes and the wind blowing through the open window wasn't helping. "Yeah, well at least you handled it better than Dunce Face and Soy Sauce Face." "What's with you and ____ Face?" "Shut up. Plus I'm calling you Bite Size now." "That only concerns me further." "Just have your junk food or whatever." Bakugo scoffed, rolling his eyes with a faint grin still drawn up on his features.
(Y/N) gladly accepted the sweets and ate them quickly, Bakugo finishing both his and her servings of ramen. When he was done, the boy swiftly cleaned up their mess and returned to his tiny friend. When he returned to her, she was shivering violently. "Oi, What's wrong??" She startled a little, previously lost in thought and caught slightly off guard by his question. "Wrong?? Oh! N-Nothing I'm f-fine!" she stuttered out between chattering teeth. "Don't even think about lying to me, idiot." "No really I'm ok." "No you're not, you're freezing, gosh dang it." He huffed back, carefully scooping her tiny figure up in both his hands. "The heck, you freaking ice cube...." He commented softly before lifting her in cupped hands up to his mouth where he began puffing warm breathes across her small body.
Being this close to his face, and mouth no less, made her antsy; not to mention the boy's breath wreaked of peppers and literally everything else hot, and it took a decent amount of self control to not cough from the prickly smell. But his breath was warm and it felt very very good, so who was she to complain?
"Better??" He asked after a moment or two, her response coming as a slow nod, content from the heat. "Good. Wanna get changed into some of the dry clothes??" "Dry clothes??" "Yeah dummy, from my action figures." He clicked his tongue at her before cradling her in one hand, reaching under the bed for the shoe box. "Oh! The barbies! Yes please!" (Y/N) made the mistake of calling the dolls by their real name. "Action figures!!..." Bakugo hissed back angrily, pulling the box out along with the little figures inside. One caught (Y/N)'s eye, one that Bakugo hadn't pulled out last time. It was a boy so that was probably why, but he wore some simple long sweats that looked especially warm, and the tiny girl wanted them very badly. "That one, that one!!" She cried excitedly, pointing to the very doll. "Him?" "YES." "Geez, chill."
The giant pulled the doll out and stripped it, handing her the clothes. "Be fast alright?" He instructed, placing her on his desk before turning around to face the other way. (Y/N) felt rather uncomfortable changing clothes without what felt like proper privacy, but he wasn't looking and she didn't have any other options, so she swiftly swiped her clothes, making herself decent. "Done!"
"Took you long enough!" Bakugo groaned, taking the wet clothes and laying them out by the desk light that was on.
"Thanks by the way!" The miniature teen girl chirped, earning the boy's attention. "Eh? For what??" Bakugo gave her a curious glance. "For taking care of me!" "You make it sound like some kind of dumb mushy thing, all I did was carry you around." He acknowledged her thanks with a gibe, trying to cover the fact that he really did enjoy it. "Plus I don't really care, it wasn't much effort..." (Y/N) just smiled, wrapping herself around his hand, "Well thanks anyways." She says with a bright smile. Bakugo gains a light blush before covering his mouth with the other hand. "Yeah whatever, I wasn't gonna leave you to get crushed by those idiots." He says before lightly shaking his hand and wiggling it from her grasp.
"Anyways, we have the whole rest of the afternoon, so what do you want to do??" The giant asks, gesturing to the digital clock which read 4:26pm. The small just shrugged in return, not quite sure herself.
Since neither of them knew how much longer this would last, it seemed that now all they could do was kill time until (Y/N) turned to normal. "Well.... We could play a game??" She suggested half heartedly, shrugging whilst she said it. The ash blonde scrunched his nose, "What kind of game, cause most I can think of won't work for you right now...." He made his point. "Hmmmmm, got any multiplayer games on your phone???" She asked. "Tch- like what?" "I don't know, like Jelly Jump, Astro party, or Fruit Ninja??" "Really?? Fine... But they better be free. I'm not downloading some cheap-crap game if it's gonna rip me off my money." He told her, pulling out his phone and tapping around for a minute or two before setting it down, and confirming with her that they were the right ones, messing around a bit longer before setting it back down, the screen showing the three games downloading. (Y/N) smiled, "Have you ever played them before???" "Tch- no. I don't bother with lame games like those..." He scoffed. But this only made the tiny girl smile wider. "We'll see just how lame they are when I'm beating your sorry butt to a pulp!!!" She declared mightily, giving him a competitive grin. "What was that!? I don't care what these games are, I'll rip you to shreds!!!" Bakugo barked back, suddenly sitting more upright and attentive, until he leaned down to get somewhat in her face. "See you at the finish line!" "Yeah right, I'll make you eat those crappy words you dang Bite Size!!"
Once the games were installed and ready, Bakugo opened the first being the one titled Jelly Jump.
"Ok, so how does this work??" The giant asks gruffly. "This one is a teamwork one, and it's pretty simple." She explains. "Tch- teamwork?! How do I know you're not gonna just drag me down the whole time??" He complains as the screen turns to show a little gelatin like cube. "This already looks lame..." He adds with a grimace upon seeing the little thing. "Shush! Now gimme the phone, I'll show you how to play on one player mode!!"
Bakugo set the device on his desk for the ecstatic little girl. She quickly displayed how to play and spelled out how it applied for two player mode. Pretty soon the boy's room filled with vigorous yelling as the two tapped violently at the phone. (Y/N) was pretty much just slapping the screen, but it worked as they waited and timed things just right for the two small jello-like squares to keep jumping up levels.
Bakugo was quick to reprimand (Y/N) as the game grew intense "THE HECK ARE YOU DOING!?" "MY JELLY GOT STUCK!!!!" "WELL UNSTUCK IT THE BLACK STUFF IS RISING!!!!" "I'M TRYING, I'M TRYING!" "TRY HARDER THE NEXT THINGY IS COMING!!!" "I DID IT GO GO GO!!!" The two kept screaming at each other, earnestly trying to work through the game. "DOES THIS FREAKING THING HAVE AN END!?" "NO I'M PRETTY SURE IT JUST GETS HARDER AND FASTER UNTIL YOU DIE!!!" "*#^^&(%^* THIS **%&^%## &^$$" "BAKUGO PAY ATTENTION WE ALMOST DIED AND WERE SO CLOSE TO OUR HIGHSCORE!!!!" "SHUT UP AND FOLLOW YOUR OWN ADVICE, BITE SIZE!!!"
"WE DID IT!!!" "WELL DON'T STOP!!!" And it was then that their luck ran cold. "NO!!! GOSH DANG THIS STUPID GAME!!!!!" Bakugo leaned back in his chair, gripping his hair in enraged fists, fluffy clumps sticking out between his fingers. "WOOOO!!!! WE DID IT, HAHA!!!!" (Y/N) on the other hand found a victory dance more appropriate. "Fist bump!!!" She cheered, sticking her arm out in waiting. "Yeah, whatever, I guess we did alright..." He grumbled, watching his tiny crush doing her funky little jig softening his mood. He complied and tapped his finger against her fist as she beamed up at him, her smile alone like an entire freaking sun.
Bakugo just smiled, though he quickly caught himself and stopped, "What were the other dumb games again??" He inquired, trying to distract himself from the cute and panicky thoughts running through his mind. "Oh! We could do Fruit Ninja now if you like, that one is a verses and is super duper fun!!!" He scrunched his nose. "Mmmm." "It also has brutally murdering fruit with knives." "Ok fine." (Y/N) couldn't help but smile wide at his quick cooperation.
They opened the app and let's just say the explosive Pomeranian didn't need any sort of instruction, and took to quickly wiping his shrunken classmate out, battle after battle.
"Ok, I'm done with this game..." She eventually pouted after finally running out of juice and just accepting defeat. "The heck?? Did I really whip your butt for a full two and a half hours!?" The ash blonde laughed looking up at the clock and making her slouch more. "Yeah- very modest about it too!" she sassily shot back, earning a cocky smirk from the boy. "Oh?? Not so high and mighty now, huh Bite Size?! What happened to beating me to a pulp?!" He taunted with a wide and malign smile. "Be nice!!" She whined, flopping back and onto the hard surface. "Enough mopping you cry baby, you're almost as bad as that dang nerd." He shook his head, still smirking as he grabbed the plastic shopping bag off the desk not too far from where (Y/N) sat. He then pulled out the Carolina reaper sausages and some fresh fruit. "That's dinner??" She asked, slightly confused, mainly because she was so used to Bakugo cooking something in one way or another. "Yeah. It is. Now don't complain. I'm having to take a lighter day on everything because of you, you know." He berated her, pulling out a pocket knife from one of the desk's drawers.
"You have a pocket knife?!" She asked in disbelief. The explosive giant took a long, annoyed sigh. "Yes. Now would you just be quiet for a minute and stop questioning everything I do??? Geez...." He exhaled sharply before continuing in cutting up the fruit into slices including small edible cubes that were perfect for the tiny. "There, eat up." he instructed, setting the pile of minced fruit in front of her before grabbing some of his own fruit and popping it into his mouth. (Y/N) gratefully took the food and ate quickly, finding that even after such a large amount of food she was still a little hungry. "Could I have some more??" She questioned, taking some cautious steps forward and toward the giant's food. "Eh?? You finished yours already!?" "Yeah... And I may or may not still be hungry?" She tries carefully, watching his brows knit together. "More!? Tch- No way!! You had your share!! Don't be stinking greedy!" He scolds harshly through a mouthful of nashi pear.
So be it.
While the boy's eyes fixated on something else for a brief moment, the dwarfed hero-in-training took her chance to quickly latch onto a thinner slice of fruit and swiftly drag it a small ways away and begin eating quickly. "HEY! I TOLD YOU NO!!" His angry voice startled her as she devoured the slice of crunchy pear. "And I told myself yes!!!" She shot right back at him before shoving the last few bits into her mouth and turning to give him a sort of 'try me!!!' look. "Stupid little idiot!! Well that's all you get so make yourself busy doing something else to waste your gosh darn time, got that?!" He growled at her before returning his attention back to what it had previously been on.
Still hungry...
She watched the temperamental Pomeranian before snatching the last one. "YOU LITTLE-!!" She heard him yell and let out a surprised squeak before her legs involuntarily began carrying her further than she had meant. She cast a glance over her shoulder to see a large open hand extended toward her and that was enough to really get the tiny going.
Soon the minuscule little trickster was tearing across his desk, dodging grabby hands that barely missed her each time. That is till he got to close and she jumped up and onto his arm. Still running.
"The heck you think you're doing Bite Size!?" He snarled, his other arm flying to quickly snatch her up before she deftly dodged, "Quit it!!" He yelled at her as tiny feet scampered up to his shoulder, then neck. (Y/N) had dropped the pear by now and it was clearly more about him catching her and her keeping out and away from his dangerous hands. "Heh heh heh! Looks like you've run out of places to run!!" The blonde chuckled maliciously, both hands now quickly closing in and toward her as he bent his head down slightly, making things easier for him.
Clearly she hadn't really thought this far... or like- at all.
Panicking, she made to step back and away from his approaching hands before she realized there was nothing under her foot. Both her stomach and heart dropped in surprise as quicker than either of them could register, the tiny girl slipped and disappeared down Bakugo's shirt.
The explosive teen just stared forward, wide eyed for a minute and frozen in place as the girl disappeared off the back of his neck. "THE HECK!? GET OUT!!!" He cried out, a shiver crawling up his spine as (Y/N) fell about halfway till where his back was pressed against the chair stopped her, entrapping her between the cloth and the boy's bare back, before he arched his spine and made things worse.
One moment (Y/N) was on her classmate's shoulders, the next she was plunged into another ocean of fabrics and cloth, only this time she was pressed against Katsuki's spine. She tried to process what had just happened and began to shift when everything around her started moving, dropping her further down. "STOP STOP, YOU'RE MAKING IT WORSE, YOU'LL CRUSH ME!!!" She quickly yelled back as she quickly got tangled up in the clothes. "THEN GET OUT OF MY GOSH DARN SHIRT!!!" He belted back. The teen had clearly didn't know what to do and was panicking as he just sat there, trembling with rage from the embarrassment and the uncontrollable tickling it was creating. "I'M TRYING, STOP MOVING ALREADY!!" She ordered to which he didn't argue, using all of his will power to keep from jerking or accidentally smooshing her.
The shrunken high school student then managed to get herself loose and began trying to first figure out where exactly she was. "C-can you feel me??" She asked, tentatively reaching a hand out to rub his tense body. "Yes." He snapped, his voice strained. "Ok, where am I?? Which way do I go?" She asked, not wanting to move until she knew what to do. "Just go up." He instructed, to which she began to make her way back up to his shoulder. His shirt wasn't super loose but it wasn't super tight either, so she was able to move about with surprising ease. As she climbed, she could feel each muscle tense and trembled beneath her hands. It was kinda terrifying, felt like he might give in any moment and suffocate her. "Hurry. Up." Bakugo growled through clenched teeth as every part of him twitched and vibrated. It was humiliating to have to sit there and try to not flip. It tickled like heck and he was getting impatient.
After what felt like forever, the ash blonde could see (Y/N) heave herself onto his shoulder out of his peripheral vision. Finally.
Both their faces were beet red and Bakugo didn't move for a minute, seeming to try and calm the embarrassment that had just boiled up. His mini sized friend on the other hand was a giggling mess. "What so funny, huh??" He quickly accused, glaring at her from the side of his vision. "Nothing- its just- Everything!" She snickered, "I guess I'm just so relieved things didn't go worse than they did!!" she added before his expression softened. "Well, just don't ever speak of this to anyone else, ever..." He muttered, still red though calmed down. The small just gave a slow nod, still laughing lightly, draped lazily over his shoulder.
"Oh, and for good measure-" Before (Y/N) could react, Bakugo wrapped a tight fist around her and brought her up to his face where he gave her a victorious grin. "I win!" He taunted smugly before setting her back down on the desk and grabbing the discarded nashi slice and popping it into his mouth. His small companion just gave him a pouty glare, silently promising payback. He just laughed.
Bakugo flashed another glance at the clock before his brows raised slightly. "Mmm- it's getting late..." He commented before glancing around the room as if contemplating what to do first. (Y/N) turned to do the same, reading it. "Late!? Bro it's only like 7:43!!" She exclaimed, her gaze meeting his scowl. "Tch- just because you go to bed so dang late doesn't mean that's when you should go to bed." He scoffs. "Come on! There's no way-" "I have to take care of you, so that means I say when we head off to sleep." He cuts her off abruptly, earning another very annoyed look.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm going to get into something more comfortable." He tells her, getting up and walking to a nearby dresser and opening a drawer to pull out some lazier, and more comfortable clothes. The tiny turned away whilst he swapped out his outfit. Then, without much else warning, two large fingers wrapped around the minuscule girl's underarms, lifting her up and off the table top. "woah~" she squeaked out another cry of surprise. She was carried by the boy off and over to the lights where he flipped them off, and then to the bed. "Come on, I'm tired and ready to sleep." He told her, setting her gently on the headboard before rummaging around in the cabinet space underneath.
After some searching, Bakugo pulled out a match box and a little towel and some cotton balls. He then put the three together and created a makeshift bed for his small classmate and friend. "There, you can use this for tonight." He told her, setting it beside her gently.
"Wait!!! This is still super early for me, and I don't think I'll be able to sleep.... Could we maybe talk for a little bit??" (Y/N) asked timidly, watching his blank face for a moment before he let out a short sigh, lying down on the bed, having already thrown back the sheets. "Fine. Whatever. What do you even want to talk about anyway??" He asked, his tone becoming calm and quiet, reflecting the exhaustion that was coming over them both, though the small was determined to stay up. "I don't know, what if we just took turns asking each other random questions???" She offered, watching as he thought about it for a moment before slowly nodding, "Sure." "You go first!" she chirped, walking over the edge of the head of the bed before dropping down and into his blonde mess of hair. "Me?? Fine..." The giant teen looked off to the side as he thought, not reacting much to the tiny now on his head. "I don't know, Who are your closest friends here at UA??" He inquired.
(Y/N) just blinked, it was a rather mundane question for someone like Bakugo, so she wonders if it had ulterior meanings. "Uhhh, Well, definitely You, Kirishima, Mina, Ochako, Deku and Iiida are really nice, But so is everyone, I guess that's just everyone I'm super close with...." She admitted, bracing her elbows just above his brows, chin in her hands.
The giant's large eyes scanned the ceiling for a moment longer before they fixated on her, dilating dramatically. "Mmm." He responded to her answer. The soft glow from the moonlight outside illuminated the room just enough to make out the soft details on each other as they both stared for a moment before the mini sized girl broke the silence. "My turn. Who are yours??" She asks, not sure what kind of answer she'd get, nor sure what she expected.
"Ugh- This is between you and I okay?? Share this with anyone else and I'll never tell you anything ever again..." He let out a low growl before taking a deep breath. "If I had to choose someone to consider my friend I guess I'd choose..." He seemed hesitant with his next words. "Don't take it weird, but probably you and weird hair... Then maybe Soy Sauce Face, Dunce Face, and Raccoon eyes..." He replied.
(Y/N) was ecstatic, "Wait really!?" She cried, perking up. Bakugo's face grew hot beneath her, "I said maybe!!!" He insisted, face contorting into an embarrassed glare. When he moved his eyebrows, The tiny fell forward, face-planting into the bridge of his nose. "Would you quit it with the being all over me?!" He growled, scrunching his eyes shut in instinct before grabbing her by the back of her shirt and lifting her off him. "Sorry..." She giggled before he let out an annoyed breath, gently placing her back where she previously sat.
"Who do you think will be the number one hero??" He eventually asks, resuming their little game. "Aha- obviously me!!!!" She laughed, "Ok but for real- Ummmmm either.... You or Deku... I think Shoto, Momo, and Kirishima have pretty good chances too, maybe like top five for them, but like you or Deku for number one." She replied thoughtfully. "Tch- That dang nerd is good, but nowhere near as much as me." Katsuki scoffs, earning some merry little laughs from his fun-sized companion. "Right! Anyways, Okay, okay, Do you think I'll be a good hero??" "What kind of lame question is that!? Of course, idiot!!" "Really??" "Duh!!! You're smart, you're good at combat, you're strong, you're spunky, and stubborn, and I have no doubt you'll beat the heck out of any and every villain you meet." He says proudly, rattling off his little list as if he's given it much thought.
"You think so??" She asks softly, "I mean- what if people don't like me..." She tacks on, it's clearly something that's been honestly bothering her for quite some time now. "Then they can-" And with that the giant proceeded to use some very colorful language to further make his point. "(Y/N). You've got everything you need to become an amazing Pro-hero and more, way more than you credit yourself. And if you don't believe that. That's ok. I will... till you can." He told her. She wasn't sure if she had ever heard him speak so genuinely or passionately about something and it made the girl tear up.
"Th-thanks!!!" she stuttered out through teary eyes, sniffling softly as she wiped at them. "Hey, hey, calm down okay??" His voice comes tenderly, a cautious finger reaching up to pet her head and back, like one would a small animal, but (Y/N) didn't mind, it felt good. "You good, Bite Size?" He asked after a minute or two. She could only muster out a quick nod, not trusting her voice to not betray her and crack like a dry salt pan.
"Alright then, my question... Have you ever been in a relationship before??" He asked, his skin becoming increasingly hot against her own. "I- um- no??" "Really???- I mean- yeah, ok,"
"Bakugo??"
"Eh?"
"Do you-... do you have a crush??....."
The boy remained silent for some time before speaking. "Tch- Who needs crushes!!!"
"oh- ok."
"No I-...D-Do you?"
"Maybe...."
They sat in silence before the tiny continued.
"Bakugo?"
"Eh...?"
"Do you like me?"
"......... Do you like me???"
"Yeah."
"...Why?"
"..... BRO I JUST CONFESSED TO YOU AND THE FIRST FREAKING THING YOU ASK IS WHY!???" The shrunken girl was beside herself with a flustered mix of fear, excitement, anticipation, and confusion. "I DON'T KNOW!!!! I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING OKAY!?? I DON'T GET WHY YOU WOULD LIKE ME!!! I'M LOUD, I'M A BRAT TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE, I'M HORRIBLE WITH EMOTIONS, I'M TEMPERAMENTAL, AND I'M A HORRIBLE PERSON!!!" He cried, balling his hands into large fists and shoving them into his eye sockets.
"That may be true... Not the horrible person part but- you're also super kind and caring in your own way, you're considerate, you recognize your faults and are working on them, you're loyal, you're determined, ambitious, and you're an incredible friend." She said, "And that only scratches the surface...."
"Oh and you're like super duper hot like- really hot." (Y/N) adds quickly, the last part making him let a singular laugh slip loose. "Ok then..." he mumbles after a minute, the soft and subtle glisten of tears welling up in his large crimson eyes able to be seen.
The girl just lies there for a silent moment before pressing her previous question. "So do you like me??"
"I- I think so..."
"Well, what do you mean "you think so"??"
"I don't know. I do!! I like you!! A- A lot, I just- don't know if I'm ready for a relationship right now... or if I'm even looking for one... But at the same time...." He trailed off again, now refusing to make eye contact with her. (Y/N)'s mind began to race before it was quickly interrupted with the giant's gravelly voice. "But here-" And before she could really respond, a large and gentle finger was placed to the back of her head, whilst he tilted his up, bending her carefully over his nose to plant a very large, but soft and innocent kiss onto the entirety that was her face.
It seemed to last forever, but not long enough. A single blissful moment when all time stopped and everything was perfect. A single moment she wanted to experience as much as humanly possible, something one could truly describe as amazing. When she finally pulled away, she caught a breath she hadn't known she had been holding.
Wow~
"There, I'll think about it, but for now, I won't keep you waiting..." He told her kindly, her still draped over his nose, each word humming a warm breath onto the tiny's face as she continued to try and process what all had just happened. "But for now, I'm tired, so let's get some rest..." He finished, careful fingers gingerly scooping her up only to place her back down on his chest where he then draped one hand over her like a blanket, in a very protective manner.
"Goodnight (Y/N)..." The boy hummed, "Oh- G-goodnight!!" The young girl finally managed to retrieve herself enough to speak and actually make out what was happening around her, that it was real, and that she wasn't dreaming.
And with that, the shrunken girl was able to drift off, the powerful sound of the giant's steady heartbeat and the chorus of each strong breath flowing evenly through his enormous lungs just beneath her lulling her to sleep like a sort of lullaby.
(Y/N) awoke to one of the best nights of sleep she had ever had. And to some place she didn't quite recognize. As the girl was groggily coming to, she slowly pieced things together, finding herself still carefully wrapped in a careful, loving hand, clutched to the giant's chest. She honestly wanted to just curl back into his warm hands and go back to sleep, but she wanted to know if Bakugo had made up his mind yet, and was concerned about the fact that she was still no bigger than a few inches.
So cautiously, she wormed her way out of his fingers and began carefully walking up to the boy's face, where she pulled herself onto him and flopped. "Bakugo." The tiny lay sprawled across the lower half of his face, head resting on her folded hands that lay on the tip of his nose.
"Good morning!!" She greeted, though there was no initial response. "Bakugo! Wake up!!" She made a second attempt as his crimson eyes flew open before he remembered the night before "Mmm...." The boy grunted, shifting a little. His eyes quickly dilated upon spotting her, his mouth curling into a tender glow. She had to admit she absolutely loved how his eyes grew larger every time he looked at her, it honestly reminded her of a cat.
"Hi!" The tiny chimed, grinning from ear to ear. "How'd you sleep!?" she asked, still splayed across him. "I slept fine I guess..." He mumbled, careful of the fact that his tiny crush was over top of his mouth. (Y/N) let out a little yelp, surprised by the ticklish feeling created by the vibrations of his words against her stomach. Bakugo snickered, only making it worse as she squeaked again, quickly sitting up before tumbling off his face, landing on the giant's collar bone. "Oi, watch it, I don't want to have to take you to recovery girl this early, alright??" He chided softly, cradling a hand beneath her before sitting up in the bed, allowing her to slide into his large but gentle palm. "Sorry!! Just startled me!!" She giggled.
"Do-.... do you have an answer for me??" She asked after a few silent moments of inner debate. The ash blonde furrowed his brows in confusion for a mere moment before the night's previous events came back to him entirely. He seemed to linger on her decision before telling her, "I- I guess we can try it but- don't go telling anyone about us just yet alright??" The usually so confident teen avoids her gaze whilst a bright red glow warms his face. "REALLY!!??" She cried, jumping to her feet, suddenly much more awake than before. "Geez, yes!! Just don't make it weird, got that!?" He warned, his second hand coming up to catch her should she fall.
"This is too good to be true!!!" she squeals, bouncing up and down eagerly, clutching to his thumb to keep from losing what little balance she had left. "I get it, I get it, just calm down already, I don't want to drag the nosey attention of everyone else in the entire stinking dorms!!!" He continues to try and hush her excitement in vain, more and more embarrassment filling him.
"Best day ever!!" (Y/N) squeals clearly not listening to a thing he had just said, lunging forward before falling onto his face yet again and stretching her arms to hug as much of the Pomeranian as she could. Bakugo panicked when she dove for him, her high energy so early in the morning just not being what he had expected. But as the miniaturized hero-in-training clung to him, he couldn't help but smile, "Tch- yeah, whatever..." He finally gave in, taking her up into his hands once more as his expression softened before pulling her down and into another kiss.
Just as the previous one, the tiny was able to nuzzle her entire face into his show of affection, enjoying every moment of it. Upon finally breaking away, he brought her up eye level, holding her close. "As much as I'd rather stay here than deal with those nerds out there, we've got a full day ahead of us, we should get going." Bakugo whispered, and despite (Y/N)'s reluctants, the ash blonde was eventually able to coax her into greeting the day.

summary: the biggest goal of a grad student is to get through school in one piece - no petty drama involved, no sweating over the little things. however, that plan almost always never follows through. sometimes, you can’t help but fall into the most unthinkable, unexpected traps and learn the hard way. like, exhibit a: being unable to resist your engaged, substitute teacher, kim seokjin.
pairing: jungkook x reader x engaged!teacher!seokjin
genre: grad school au, student life au | fluff, angst, smut
words: 3.6k
warnings: cussing, mature language/implied sexual content, jealousy and slight possessiveness, making out

"Should we go to that charity event the school is holding on Friday? It sounds kind of fun." Ryujin sipped on her drink, while you went through your closet, showing her different outfits over the facetime call.
"What's it for again?"
"I don't remember, but the Golden State Warriors dj is going to be dj'ing. He's pretty good."
"Yeah he is. I mean, I'm down, especially if it's for a good cause."
"Okay, I'll grab us tickets when I head to campus."
"You're not even gonna ask Jimin or Tae?" You chuckle.
"Why would I? They do everything we do, they don't know anything outside of us." You shake your head.
"Cut them a little slack."
"Boohoo, they'll say yes regardless. Bring Jungkook!"
"I mean, I'll ask, but I'm not gonna force him."
"Oh quit, I'm sure he'd be happy to spend time with you." She looked at you through the camera. "K, let me see that outfit."
"He said casual." You showed her your outfit in the full length mirror.
"Absolutely, yes! You're fucking hot." She squeals, automatically solidifying your outfit for tonight. It, thankfully, wasn't too cold in the Bay today, so you throw on a grey distressed denim mini skirt, a low-cut light grey longsleeve, a belt and some heeled combat boots. You ruffled and fixed your hair a bit until you were satisfied with your look, picking up the phone once more to turn your attention back to Ryujin.
"Thank you."
"No problem, babe. I hope you have fun! Did he say where you two were going?"
"Nope, it's apparently a surprise."
"Ugh, I love him already." She gushes, causing you to shake your head. You dabbed a bit of lip gloss and pressed your lips together to spread it out before spraying a perfume cloud for you to walk through. Sooner or later, knocks came at the door.
"Okay, I think that's him. I'll talk to you later?"
"Call me as soon as you get home. I want to know how big his dick actually is."
"You're sick. You sound exactly like Tae, you know that?"
"We're not talking about him."
"Love you, bye!" You abruptly hang up on her, unsure of why the hell you deal with her and Taehyung's crude comments. You grab your bag and open the door to see Jungkook standing there with a small bouquet of flowers. He peeks his head over the bouquet with the cutest smile you have ever seen.
"Hi." He slightly scrunches his nose and pulls you into a hug. Goddamn, does he smell good. "These are for you." He hands you the bouquet.
"Jungkook, they're beautiful. Thank you." You take it into your kitchen and place it into a vase really quickly before stepping out. You eye him from head to toe, and boy is looking like a whole ass meal in the denim outfit he has on. Like, who in the world could pull off this outfit like that?
"You look amazing." You blush. "If you ever get cold, just let me know, alright? I can spare my jacket."
"You're so sweet."
"Just want to make sure you're comfortable." He shrugs. "You ready?"
"Depends on what you have up your sleeve."
"Nothing extreme, if that's what you're thinking." He laughed. "I hope you enjoy it, though."
"Thanks for planning all of this, by the way."
"No biggie. I'm just glad to finally spend some time with you." He does a little run to open the passenger car door for you before hopping into the driver's seat. Immediately, he gets the car started and turns up the heat to make sure you're comfortable. The radio is softly playing Zayn's sHe, with Jungkook softly singing along.
"Wait a minute," You chuckle. "Do you sing?" He smirked.
"Maybe."
"Hey, that's not fair. Sing louder."
"No, now I'm shy." He chuckled.
"Why? It's just me."
"Yeah and I just wanna impress you and not make a fool out of myself."
"You won't! Please." You pouted, making him shake his head.
"Ugh, Y/N. That's going to easily become a weakness for me if you keep pulling that pout." You keep pouting. Eventually, he gets over himself and starts to sing a little louder than earlier, causing your heart to flutter at how angelic he sounds. He ends up laughing towards the end and shrugging it off, his cheeks tinted with a rosy tint as you shower him in compliments. Swoon. You were so into the moment that you didn't even realize Jungkook was taking you across the bridge to San Francisco. You and your friends don't come to the city much, strictly because there's too many goddamn hills, parking is expensive as fuck, there's too many one way streets and people just get crazy as hell [like crossing the street when it's not time to walk?!]. It was a little calmer back home and that's all you guys needed. You watch as he parks the car effortlessly on a steep hill before coming over to your side to open the door for you.
"Whew, that's gonna be a workout later." You look back at the steep hill that you're gonna have to climb after eating dinner, you assume.
"Don't worry, I got you." He laughs. There's actually a lot of people out for a Tuesday evening that you end up hanging onto his arm to get navigate the random sea of people. He walks into Brenda's French Soul Food - nothing too fancy, but nothing too casual. The waitress brings you both towards the back end of the restaurant and out into the patio, where there are christmas lights hung around the fence and outdoor heaters posted. He pulls out your chair before sitting himself down, the waitress putting down your menus and cups of water.
"Ohhhhh, my god." You say with heart eyes looking at the menu. You had heard about this place from so many people, and you were impressed that Jungkook was able to score reservations being that it's always so busy due to its popularity. "I'm so excited! I've been wanting to try this place."
"Goodjob, Jungkook." He says, patting himself on the back. "If you're happy, that's all I could ask for." The waitress comes back to offer recommendations, which you both include in your orders in one way or another. Although packed, the restaurant was able to pump out orders quickly and efficiently so you and Jungkook weren't sitting around for too long without food.
"So, how's Jin in class?" You almost choke on your food even though this is something you should have expected. You really wanted to avoid speaking about him tonight, but you knew it was inevitable being that you were out with his brother.
"Um, he's alright."
"Just alright?" He rose his eyebrow and chuckled.
"No, sorry. I mean, he's a really good teacher. Definitely better than our last professor. Everyone in class loves him."
"That's cool. Yeah, he's really smart and wise. I've always looked up to him."
"How long has it been?" You weren't sure how to ask the question, but Jungkook understood what you were asking.
"I was a sophomore in high school when my mom met his dad." You're silent for a moment, allowing him to continue on if needed. "I had a really hard time at first, you know? The whole stepfather thing. My anger was moreso directed towards my mom and my stepdad for awhile. But Jin helped me out a lot. He helped me come to terms with my feelings about everything and he stuck by my side, always had my back whenever I got into arguments or bickered with one of our parents." You nodded, suddenly feeling guilty even though you and Jungkook weren't a couple.
"So, you two are really close." He nodded.
"Yeah, we are. I really don't know what I'd do without him. He's taught me a lot and helped me grow. Plus, Namjoon, Hoseok and Yoongi have been around too. They treat me like their own little brother.”
"That's sweet. It's nice to have that kind of relationship with your sibling and their friends." You chuckle.
"It is." He nods. "Do you have any siblings?"
"Ryujin, Taehyung and Jimin." He laughs.
"From the club, right? I met your friends, they're fun people."
"They're too much, honestly. I'm the only child, but we've all been stuck to the hip since freshman year in college."
"That's cool that you guys have been together since then." You give him a toothless smile. "I think it's pretty awesome that you guys are tackling grad school together too."
"Initially, we all had different plans, but Jimin had some big goals for himself including grad school, and it played a huge role in my decision to do grad school, too. Then Ryujin followed, then Taehyung."
"Cute."
"Speaking of friends, there's this charity event at school on Friday." You look up at him, a small smirk growing on his face.
"Uh huh?"
"And I was wondering if you wanted to come along with us. They really want you there."
"That's sweet. But, what matters the most is that you want me there."
"I wouldn't be inviting you if I didn't, right?" You bit your bottom lip.
"Touché. Of course I'll go with you, beautiful." He does a small nod before sipping his water. "Should we show up in matching outfits?" He joked, causing you to snort.
"Honestly, that seems pretty entertaining. Cute, and entertaining."
"I'm down if you are." You stuck your tongue out playfully.
"I'm game too."
"Let me know what you're wearing then."
"I will, whenever I figure that out."
"Take your time. Just know you'll look good in anything." You blushed. You both continue to talk over the remaining bits of your food before Jungkook calls for the check. You watch as he scribbles his signature onto the receipt before standing and sticking his wallet into the back pocket of his jeans. While exiting the small and crowded restaurant, you hold onto his hand, feeling him grip it tighter as you both successfully make it out. The night isn't too cold, and you sure as hell knew it wouldn't be after you conquered the hill that Jungkook parked on.
"Fuck." You say as you stand on the street, eyeing the steep hill in front of you.
"Come on." He says, slightly bending down for you to hop onto his back.
"Ouu, I don't know if that's a good idea--"
"Y/N, I promise it's okay. Come on." He laughed. Hey, if he was willing to do this, then why not? You hop onto his back, his arms wrapping your legs tightly around his waist, while you clung onto his neck. "See, not so bad, right?" He says, sprinting up the hill, making you laugh and hold onto him tighter.
"Shit, I am so sorry. That was probably a workout. Right after we ate, too."
"Nah. It wasn't anything." He scrunched his nose. On the way back over the bridge, Jungkook is heading towards Lake Merritt. You both are singing along to songs and joking around about topics that pop up here and there. When he parks his car, you notice a whole crowd of people gathered by the lake, which was a little unusual for this time of night. He grabs your hand and gently caresses the top with his thumb as he walks you over towards the crowd. To your surprise, you realize people are gathered here for a water lantern festival. Your eyes light up, making Jungkook smile at how excited you look.
"Jungkook, what the hell! How did you know about this and I didn't?" He shrugs.
"I have my ways." He says, his voice low and deep. You playfully shove him before you make your way over to grab lanterns to decorate. You and Jungkook sit off in a more quiet, calmer part of the lake, silently decorating your lanterns and writing your wishes along with it. What exactly did you want to wish for?
Happy friends, happy family. Happy you.
Whatever happiness meant to you.
To have Chance look over you.
Jungkook is done pretty quickly, but he waits for you to finish, not questioning what you've written since he figures it's a private matter. He shows you his lantern and his cute little stick figure drawing of his family and friends. You giggle, watching him gently lay his lantern in the water, giving you leverage to do the same with yours. You stand closely to him, his body providing you some warmth as you watch your lanterns float off into the lake and illuminate the night along with the others.
"Ready? We have one more thing to catch." He snakes his arm around your waist and gives your side a gentle squeeze. You simply nod, following him back to his car. He takes you about 30 minutes away, exiting and pulling right into a lot two street lights down from the exit. He pulls up to the ticket booth, buying 2 tickets for Tenet at the drive-in movie. You squeal and clap in your seat excitedly, also not knowing this was still around.
"Did you really do your research to plan this date?"
"Yes and no? I've been here before, and I thought it would be fun to take you. The restaurant and the lantern festival though, yes." He parks his car as instructed, turning the radio to the correct channel in order to hear the audio. "Wanna hop in the back so we have more room?" You nod, getting out of your seat just to hop into the back. He leans over into his trunk, grabbing water bottles and assorted gummy candies for you to snack on in case you wanted some. "I hope you're having fun so far."
"I am." You respond softly.
"Okay, beautiful. If you say so." He chuckles. He moves the driver and passenger seats forward so that you both have room to spread your legs a bit. At first, Jungkook made sure to give you enough space so he wouldn't make you uncomfortable, but over time, you felt yourself sinking closer and closer to his body until he had his arm draped around your shoulder, while part of your body rested on his. His hand gently caressed your arm, occasionally sending goosebumps through your body at how soft his touch his. You glanced over, admiring at how focused he was on the movie. He must have felt you looking at him because he quickly looks over and blushes as he nibbles on a gummy worm. "What?"
"Nothing, it's just cute how focused you are."
"Damn, are you not into it?"
"I am, but it's kind of hard to follow sometimes."
"Yeah, it's definitely one of those movies." This time, his gaze on you is a little longer than before. You don't know what takes over you, but you plant a kiss on him, making him smile into the kiss. He doesn't say anything, but proceeds to rest his free hand on your neck, pulling you close and into another deep kiss. Your hand grips onto the side of his shirt, your tongues slowly fighting for dominance. The sounds of wet kisses fills the car and tunes out the movie audio. You can feel the moment intensifying, both you and Jungkook letting out breathy moans in between kisses. Suddenly, the thought of Seokjin quickly flashes in your mind, the past nights you've spent with him and the nasty shit you both have done to each other.
You lightly gasp as you pull away, but it wasn't obvious to Jungkook that something had disturbed your peace.
"Sorry, I—" He tries to save face just in case he was in the wrong about something.
"No, I just— I wasn't expecting it to get that intense." You lied. You knew damn well.
"It's okay." He chuckled. "I would never rush you into anything, Y/N. Okay? We can take this slow." He gives you a genuine, warm, reassuring smile that causes you to swoon. Why the fuck was he so good? Just why? How was this even fair right now?
All you do is simply smile and lean back onto him. He's back to caressing your arm and shoulder, giving you small pecks on the top of your head every now and then to reassure you. Part of you wondered if this is what Seokjin had taught him over the years - how to properly love a woman and be a gentleman. But then, that quickly fades when you remember the situation you're in with him.
Well no, you're not in anything with him. You needed to stop doing this to yourself.
When the movie ends, you both climb back into the front seats to make your way back home. You feel the exhaustion hit you, all the fun and adrenaline you felt today slowly come crashing down. Jungkook parks in the passenger loading zone, throwing on his hazard lights before walking you up to your apartment.
"Jungkook, thank you for tonight. I really enjoyed it and had a ton of fun with you."
"I'm glad." He cups your face and gently places a kiss on your forehead. You weren't satisfied with it though, so you tippy toe as you hold onto his hand and kiss him on the lips. He leans into the kiss, deepening it for a quick second before pulling away. "Let me know the details about Friday, okay?"
"Okay."
"I'll call you tomorrow. Sleep tight, beautiful." He smiles and licks his lips as he watches you walk in, feeling utterly content with how the day went. You feel the same way, smiling to yourself as you throw your bag onto the floor and prance into the bathroom to get ready for bed. You felt the butterflies in your stomach every time you thought about Jungkook and his smile, or his soft lips against yours.
Butterflies that kept your mind off of—
[jin] 10:04pm: Are you still with Jungkook?
You roll your eyes at the text. You hadn't pulled out your phone all night, so you're also seeing the numerous messages from your friends in the group chat, too.
[jimin] 7:45pm: have fun tonight, Y/N!
[taehyung] 7:50pm: ^ ditto. use protection, young lady
[taehyung] 7:50pm: think about mr. kim's feelings
[ryujin] 7:56pm: taehyung kim, shut the hell up. do you have anything better to do?
[jimin] 8:01pm: i really hope she doesn't pull out her phone during the date -__-
[taehyung] 8:05pm: lmfao you guys, chill out
[taehyung] 8:06pm: i'm sorry y/n, im just kidding. have fun tonight and be safe, love you
[ryujin] 8:10pm: CALL ME WHEN YOU GET HOME Y/N! i wanna know deets, remember! and ask him if he wants to join us on friday!
Unbelievable. Your friends were unbelievable, and that was an understatement. You don't respond to the group because you figured you'd call Ryujin in a bit and update the boys over the week. But to Jin's text - fuck.
You were literally just tucking him away in the far, far, far dark, deep depths of your mind.
[y/n] 11:38pm: I was, but now I'm home.
[jin] 11:39pm: Yeah, he just texted me back. Sorry.
[y/n] 11:40pm: It's okay.
[jin] 11:43pm: Okay. Have a good night.
He hates this. Why the hell would you do this to him? Grace is upstairs sleeping while Jin is trying to clean the kitchen up like he promised. Suddenly, his phone goes off, signaling a call coming in.
Jungkook.
"Hello?"
"Oh shit, yes! You're awake!" Jin chuckles a bit.
"How was the date?" Not only was he asking out of curiosity, but wanted to know how you were doing during the night. Completely none of his business but he couldn't help himself.
"God, she's fucking amazing. A-and-and beautiful." He yells into the phone excitedly. "She's so exciting. I can't wait to take her out again. I just wanna keep spending time with her." Jin is pretty unamused on the other line. Thank God he isn't on Facetime so he didn't have to fake this facial expressions hearing about Jungkook's feelings for you. "S-she- I mean, we kissed."
"Oh?" Jin asks, tongue pressed against his cheek. What the fuck.
"Yeah, we were making out during the movie. It got pretty intense, but it didn't get any further than that. I didn't wanna rush her into anything."
"You think it could have escalated?"
"Yeah honestly, but I wanna do right by her, you know?" Jin can tell how serious Jungkook was starting to become about pursuing you, and he had never felt more competitive until this day. He just wanted you to himself, and he wanted to be the one to kiss you and make you feel things you've only dreamed about.
Not his brother.
He, too, wanted you just as bad. If anything, more.
"It sounds like it was a pretty successful first date." Jungkook is beaming through the phone, he didn't have to see his face to know that.
"It was. It was such a good night." Jungkook chuckles. "By the way, I'm going to that charity event on campus on Friday. Are you and Grace going?"
"Probably not."
"Well, if you both are free, you should swing by. It'll be nice to see Grace."
"Yeah, I'll ask and see what's up." Jin sighs. "I should probably get to bed, I'm pretty tired. I'm happy to hear the date went well, kid."
"Thanks, dude. I'll talk to you later, get some rest."
"You too." Jin hangs up the call, silently hitting his fist against the kitchen counter as he lets out a deep sigh. More than ever, he wanted to keep you wrapped around his finger. He wanted to keep you there, no matter how selfish that sounded. There was no way he was going to let you unravel.

Tears and kisses
pairing; V x reader
summary; V & the reader's friendship started on him being injured and their relationship would start with that too.

A/N; I'm so sorry this took so long but I had a lot of fun with this! Thank you for requesting!
Y/N's lungs burned as they ran deeper into the alleyways of London, holding their heels in their hands. How were they supposed to know the creep they punched was a member of the Fingermen? Maybe wearing heels tonight was a bad idea but hey, no one thinks that they're going to be chased by madmen who were drunk with power at 8:30 pm. 'Shit' they thought, glancing at the street clocks '30 minutes untile curfew'. If they didn't get home soon that would just be another nail in the coffin for this English citizen.
The fleeing criminal didn't look back until they heard a loud, panic-filled scream followed with a thud. When they did, they were shocked by the scene in front– well behind them. There, taking out the Fingermen with such ease, was a pure black figure wearing a mask and an outdated hat. The hat or the mask wasn't the thing that confused Y/N, it was the fact this street vigilante was flinging these six-foot men like they were rag dolls. As embarrassing as it sounds, Y/N just stood there, stuck in some kind of awestruck daze until the ringing of a gun blast drew them out of it.
All they could cry out was a "No!" As they were still glued to the alley street. The masked figure only let out a pained grunt before taking out the shooter with one of his many knives. He stood there for a moment, their back only facing Y/N. They could tell even in the dark that this vigilante was seeing if the bullet was an exit wound or not.
“Hello?” they stepped closer to the caped hero “Are you hurt badly?”
Y/N's hero turned to them, obviously flustered as they tripped on their words as they tried to answer back.
“Uh-” He tried to bow but only winced in pain which stopped him from doing so “I would say so, but," he chuckled softly under his breath “as you can barely tell, I'm bleeding.”
Y/N rushed over to them ignoring common sense which yelled for them not to go to the man who had just taken out four men all by himself.
“Is there anything I can do to help?” they asked as they searched for the wound and see if there was an exit wound as well
“I know I haven't introduced you as I have to others, but could you be as kind as to let me into your home?” It was easy to tell the awkwardness and anxiousness in his voice. He shook his head before trying to continue his sentence, probably to backtrack and apologize but Y/N stopped them as they nodded before looking back at the street clock.
“We have sixteen minutes till curfew, we have to hurry. Can you run?”
The man nodded as he placed a hand on his wound before saying "Lead the way".
Luckily, it seemed that the secret police had vanished as they made way back to their apartment. They couldn't help but feel responsible for this poor civilian's injury. 'I could have outrun them. He didn't need to intervene like that.' They thought as they looked over at him. Now that they were closer to the street they should see where the wound truly was, his left shoulder. Y/N couldn't help but sigh in relief which rewarded them a confused head tilt from their guest. Hopefully, it hadn't hit any important nerves, muscle, or bone and they'd feel safe putting their hero on the street once a more.
Things between them things were quiet until they got to their apartment building's door. There, right on the porch of the brick establishment, he muttered a word as he was noticeably starting to get lightheaded due to blood loss.
“V...”
“V? Is that the name of the street you liv-”
“Name. That's my name.
All they could say was "oh" as they opened the door and started up the stairs. It was easy to tell he was getting grumpy as well. Who knew that was also a symptom of blood loss. When they both were greeted with their apartment door Y/N wasted no time opening said door and pulling this masked hero into it, making sure not to pull the injured side, and made a b-line to the bathroom. There, like most normal people they kept their medical supplies stored.
V stepped into the room first and before the host could follow he closed the door.
“Hey!” they yelled as they lightly slammed their hand into the bathroom door “What gives?”
“I- uh, please forgive me but I can take it from here!”
Y/N huffed as he spoke, feeling slightly insulted that they couldn't go into the bathroom they paid for. They were taken away from their irritated thoughts when V spoke again around three minutes later.
“Could you stay? Sit by the door I mean.”
“Why?” they shot back as they somewhat snapped. V waited for a moment before answering.
“Just... Nervous that's all.” His soothing British accent made the hair on Y/N's neck stand up “I can understand if you say no– I did lock you out of your own bathroom.”
“No! No, no it's okay.” They began to slide down the wall so they could sit. The quietness sneaked in as Y/N brought their knees to their chin. Small sounds like him hissing at the pain from rubbing alcohol and him rummaging for more supplies were the only things that broke said silence until he mumbled out four words;
“Would you help me...?”
The apartment's owner sighed as they got up, jittering the doorknob “Sure if you can unlock it.”
Again, it took him a few moments before a small click happened but they weren't annoyed or upset at the wait as they knew he was probably in more pain. When they opened the door they were greeted to V who now was shirtless with their back facing them. The wound wasn't the thing that caught Y/N's eye, but instead, it was the fact his body was so heavily burned. It made sense why he wanted to patch himself up now! They couldn't help but place their fingertips gently on his back which caused him the tense up.
“Need help wrapping the bandages?”
He nodded, still not looking at them which made it easier to tell that he was truly embarrassed.
Y/N looked closely at the wound, sighing in relief as it seemed that the bullet hadn't lodged itself inside any of the muscle and started wrapping the medical bandages, trying to make sure that it wasn't too tight. In an attempt to relax V they tried to make conversation about his burns. He was quick to say that he "didn't remember" how he got them which Y/N couldn't believe but dropped the subject and onto a new one; why he saved them.
“I watched you– just to make sure you got him safe– and I saw them. Harass you I mean.” he looked back at the bandage work, seemingly pleased with their work before talking once more “You threw a good punch though.”
Y/N couldn't help but blush at the compliment as they stood up “Thank you, V. Come back if you ever need help.”
When V left they couldn't help but feel that their apartment was, well, empty. That night as they laid in bed they secretly hoped he'd come back again and oh boy, would he do exactly that.
Almost three months into their budding friendship they were woken up in the middle of the night to pounding at their door. Fear washed over them like a wave as they opened the door, scared the police had come to take them away for some petty thing.
“Oh! V!” they smiled in relief along with joy as they got to see their good friend after waiting for almost one and a half months to see him again. “Come in!” they moved out of the doorframe, still smiling like a goof until they looked at the floor. Blood. Once again their dear friend had gotten himself hurt. Their heart sank as they looked back at him who was already in the bathroom except for this time he didn't lock the door like he did the first time he came here.
“Really V? This is the third time in a year,” they said with concern in their voice as they walked in the bathroom, undressing him to see the wound which turned out to be a stab wound in his upper abdomen. Luckily it didn't hit anything vital.
“Maybe you just get yourself hurt to see me..” they mumbled as they pressed a cold washcloth on him. Sure they said it was a joke but somewhere, deep down inside them, they wished it was true. V grunted as a response once rubbing alcohol was introduced to the stab injury, turning their head away from them before actually speaking.
“Come with me. Back to my place.”
Y/N turned red when they finally processed his words. Why? How? Where does he even live? Truly they wanted to say "yes" right then and there but they just couldn't.
What about their apartment? Their plants and mail? Sure, they didn't have anything important in their home like a pet but still, moving (especially when they've never seen the place) is both scary and draining.
“Why? V you know you're always welcomed in my home.”
He took Y/N hand's and placed it on his face so his "cheek" was cupped before answering their question
“One day Y/N they'll follow me back here and because you're helping me, ” he coughed “they'll take you away too. I want to make sure you're completely safe. You're important to me.”
Y/N's ears felt hot once V was done talking. They thought for a moment as they inspected the wound to see if it needed stitches. Maybe he was right and living with him would be a good idea. Hell even it wasn't like he only came to their place for safety as well as they couldn't count how many times they opened their door just to see items like water bottles or bags of fresh bread (with a V drawn on them of course) and due to that, it was clear that he did care for them.
Y/N sighed as they locked eyes with V “Ill go with you, V. Let me pack up first.”
They could tell he was happy as he rubbed his face a bit deeper into their hand.
A few hours later at one AM the two of them hurried out of the building, carrying a few duffle bags as they did so. Y/N as they walked couldn't help but glance down at the man's hands as he carried both bags.
“I can carry them V...”
“Nonsense! I'm just doing what a gentleman would do.”
They couldn't help but roll their eyes at this. For being an absolute tank he still tried to act all soft, guess that was another reason they liked them.
As they walked they teased one another, trying not to laugh so they wouldn't alert the police as they were very much out against curfew. That night Y/N learned that V loved stars which just added on to the cuteness factor of him.
“What is this?” they asked in confusion once they stopped in front of Victorian Station “V this place has been abandoned for years.”
“Exactly my comrade!” He smiled as he placed the bags on the sidewalk and opened the doors to Y/N's surprise “A secret treasure I like to call it, now come along you're probably exhausted.”
The two descended into the dark depths which V seemed to be used to. Y/N finally got to carry a bag but it was only so V could use his free hand to guide them in the dark as he had a hand on their shoulder.
As the door opened they were shocked to see the inside completely decorated. It was easy to see V was a big art nerd as classic paintings hung from the ceiling and loved literature once they saw their new room as books were piled all the way to the ceiling.
“I'm sorry if it isn't to your liking.” He said as he placed down the bag in his hand
“No no, it's amazing. Thank you, V.”
Before he left the room Y/N placed a kiss on the metal mask's cheek. V didn't stop to ask why but merely turned his head to look at Y/N who was busy unpacking their clothes now.
For the next two years, V came home with no injuries to Y/N's happiness. It was easy when it came to them bonded as V showed them his favorite movies and how to cook. Their relationship also deepened when the talk of politics came up. Sure, it was slightly concerning for them how V loved the idea of anarchy. But one thing was for certain; they both hated Sutler with a burning passion. Nothing outright romantic happened between them, BUT the night that marked their two years of friendship while having a movie marathon, Y/N laid their head somewhat near his shoulder as they began to fall asleep. V, even though he felt slightly awkward due to this situation, played with the tips of their friend's hair until the movie ended. He didn't move them back to their room, instead, to make sure V didn't wake Y/N, laid their head on a pillow and gave them a blanket before leaving the gallery. Like two years ago Y/N was startled wake around four AM to V slamming the door shut while grunting and mumbling to himself.
“V?” their voice was almost a whisper as they got up slowly and followed him
“Ah Y/N, I'm sorry for waking you.” he turned to them as he held his left side. It was easy to tell that he was nervous. When they finally got to see what was wrong their blood felt like it was being boiled. He had gotten himself hurt again! There was no blood but it was easy to tell he had broken something. He was always being reckless, didn't he know they cared for him? It just wasn't fair!
“Do I not matter to you?!” they snapped as tears threatened to fail as they grabbed the home's first aid.
“You haven't done this in so long V! Why now? Have I done something wrong? V–”
Before the could finish their rant V slammed his "lips" unto Y/N's whose eyes widen. They felt frozen for a few seconds until they wrapped their arms around them, running their fingers through his hair as they closed their eyes. To Y/N's sadness, they couldn't deepen the kiss due to his mask so holding him close was all they could do but it made them just as happy. When the two broke the kiss Y/N laid their head in the crook of his neck as they stayed silent for a few moments before they broke the silence.
“Can I say something?”
“Of course love.”
“I love you...” They held V's hand as they spoke in a whisper “I have for a while.”
V moved their head out of his crook and lifted their chin to look them in his eye before kissing them on the forehead
“And so have I.”

Chapter 7 to '100 Promises'
Previous Chapter | Next Chapter
Warnings: Swearing, violence, bullying, blood, I think that's it, but as always feel free to tell me if I missed any.
"I finally got contact lenses. I think they'll be better than my glasses. I mean, yeah, I'll probably still use them, but it's... nevermind, what do you think?" He rambled, a dorky smile on his face. "If it'll make you happy, then you look great," you said, smiling, honestly meaning your words. "I'm asking for your opinion woman, stop giving me the 'if it makes you happy' bullshit. Give me your opinion," he stated, shaking your shoulders."It looks good! I'm not used to seeing you without your glasses, but you look good!" You laughed, your words coming out in a vibrato of sorts from him shaking you. "I'm glad you think so."
"Dear gods my hair is getting long..." he muttered, running his hands through his hair, staring at himself in the bathroom mirror. "I think it looks good," you commented, passing by the bathroom with a laundry basket. "Really? I think I kind of like it too..."
"And how much does it hurt?" He questioned. "Not that much, or so I've heard. Plus, we're getting it at the same time, so... no backing out, or I'll cut your hair," you threatened, your hold on his hand tightening a bit. "No, don't you dare. And I won't back out," he said as you dragged him into the shop. (The fact I've been threatened with that-)
"I somehow can't believe we looked like that!" You laughed, pointing at the photo on your phone. It was from high school, and you were both laughing at how dorky you both looked. "Oh gods... actually, I was kind of hot," you said, giggling a bit. "Have we really changed that much?" Niragi questioned. "Well, let's see," you said, opening the camera and telling Niragi to get into frame. He did so, and you both stuck out your tongues, the matching piercings glinting in the light. You snapped the photo, and put it side by side the one from high school. "Wow... that's a big difference, holy shit," he laughed. You snickered, and posted side by side comparison of the the photos. "Yeah. Huge difference."
"Hatter would like to see you... Alone."
You looked back at Ann, and nodded, getting up. "If she's going, I'm going with," Niragi said, getting up himself. "He said he wants to speak to (Y/N) alone. Respect to rules for once please," Ann chided, as you walked to her side. Niragi laughed, finishing with a smirk, "And since when do I listen to the rules?"
You looked back at him with a proud, yet embarrassed face. Definitely not the same Niragi from back in the real world. He was more confident than you last remembered, that was for sure. "Dude, I'll be totally fine. The least they could do is kill me," you said, a bit to nonchalantly for his tastes. "That seems like a worse case scenario, but ok." he responded, "I'm still going with you." "No, you're not. Look, I'll be fine ok? Just wait outside the door," you suggested. He scoffed, but nodded nontheless. Ann stayed quiet, watching this exchange. 'So... is that all it takes to convince him? Really? All we needed was this girl?' Were her thoughts.
"Oh good, you're here!" Hatter exclaimed as soon as you walked in. Ann stayed outside, and shut the doors behind you. You nodded. Was he happy or just extremely charismatic? You didn't know, but whatever it was, it was nice. It made you feel like you were talking to someone you knew. Like the pleasant ladies from your apartment complex. "Well, what do you want to talk about?"
"Where are we?" You asked as you got off the train. "I don't know. Just took a random train. You said you wanted another adventure," he replied. You gasped. "Niragi Suguru, you did not," you said, grabbing onto his hand to make sure you didn't lose him in the large crowd. "I did. And what of it?" He asked, dragging you out. "Oh my gods... Excuse me, sorry to bother you, but which city are we in?" You asked one of the people who worked there. They smiled and answered with, "Shinjuku. Are you lost?" You shook your head. "No, we'll be fine. Thank you very much!" You said. Niragi dragged you to the exit. "I don't look presentable to be in Shinjuku right now, Niragi," you said, hiding your face. "You always look nice though. And it's called opportunity. I took it, and now we're here. So, let's take advantage of this, yeah?"
Hatter sat you down. "From what Ann and Aguni reported back to me, you're a quick thinker. Great shot apparently. They were both very impressed," he started. You smiled. "I'm honored they felt that way," you said. Hatter chuckled. "Well, Ann said you'd do well in either position of a militant or an executive. And it's just your luck the precious person who held number 7 recently... died. The games, obviously. Before you came here, actually. Maybe it was a sign it was meant to be yours. And, since you've proven yourself useful, I think it's a good idea," Hatter said, rambling a bit. "That's a bit too high for me, isn't it?" You questioned. You had just gotten here, you couldn't possibly be up that high already. "Uh... no. It's not. So, as of today, you shall be a militant," he said dramatically. You laughed, thanking him as he gave you a wristband with the number seven written on the blue tag. You slipped it on your wrist. "Oh, and just so you know, Aguni will most likely take you under his wing. The militants are mostly guys, so be careful. And... uh... your friend can help you find everything. He'll also show you to your new room. That is all. Goodbye now," he said cheerfully. You smiled brightly, thanking him.
You opened the door to leave, seeing Niragi leaning on the wall across the door. You smiled, closing the door softly behind you. "I'm back," you said. He nodded, "I can see that." "Can you really? You have your contact lenses?" You asked, skeptical. He nodded his head. "Surprisingly," he added. "Hmm... and for how many more days do you have them?" You questioned as he led you through the hotel. "Well, I've been in the borderland about 2 and a half weeks-"
"Woah, hold up... you'd been gone for six months up in the real world-"
"Well, I'm starting to think time runs differently in both places. Because no way in hell have I been here 6 months."
"Ok... continue on."
You two talked about whatever came to mind just like you used to. It was like you never skipped a beat. He lead you down into where they kept the weapons. "Only milatants and Hatter are allowed down here. This is the basement, and also where we keep the weapons. So, take your pick," he said, a smirk on his face. "You're a bit to proud of this aren't you?" You asked, looking over the different weapons. "Maybe," he responded. You didn't have to look at him to know he was smirking, you could just hear it in his voice. You picked out a knife that had a strap around. You also picked up a riffle similar to Niragi's, and turned to face him. "Ok, I'm good," you said. "Tomorrow, the militants are heading out on a supply run. Which means you now too. You can wear actual clothes now, isn't that fun?" He joked. You rolled your eyes shoving him playfully. He ran his tongue over his teeth. "That's really how you want to play, huh (L/N)?" He asked. You could hear the tone behind his words. The tone that meant run or your fucked, because whatever game he's scheming will end with you caught. It was quite normal for you two. Playing games with each other was a hobby back in the real world. Didn't matter how childish or immature they were. "Ouch, my last name? That hurts... Suguru." (Is that his last name or his first name? I don't know, I've been treating it as his last name, but I'm probably wrong) You giggled, running off. There was probably tons of places to hide inside the basement, and probably even more places throughout the beach.
"How was last night? Did you have fun?" He teased as soon as you woke up. You rolled your eyes. "Don't even talk to me about last night. Another disappointment," you groaned, rubbing your eyes. "Damn. That bad, huh?" He said, handing you a mug with coffee in it. You took a sip, and smiled. Perfect... He always made really good coffee, and it impressed you. "Yeah... definitely that bad. I heard him leave this morning, let's hope he never comes back," you said. Niragi laughed, taking a sip of his own coffee. The sunlight came in through the sliding glass door of your apartment. The sky was painted with pinks and purples. Gold dusted the clouds as the sun touched them. It was perfectly picturesque. "One day, we won't have to live in a sucky apartment building, you know? I promise you that one day we'll have... I don't know where do you want to live?" He asked you. You both walked over to the couch, sitting next to eachother. "I don't know... I'd go anywhere as long as I can still have my best friend with me.''
"Come on out, (Y/N). I'll find you sooner or later. We need sleep," he shouted. You stifled a laugh, and crouched down, sneaking around. You could see him looking around for you. You moved backwards, bumping into someone. You slowly turned around. It was the guys Niragi had introduced as 'Last Boss'.
Throughout the day, you had actually had the opportunity to talk to him a bit. More like you talked, while he observed you, occasionally making a sound of sorts to show you he was listening. He'd also answered your questions, so you thought he wouldnt be that bad. You made the quiet signal, putting a finger to your lips. He looked down quizzically. "Playing a game. Can't let him find me. Wanna join?" You whispered to the mysterious man. He nodded slightly, still a bit confused. "Ok, the objective is to not get caught by Niragi. He doesn't know you're playing yet, so I'll figure something out... oh, I got it! You go hide," you whisper shouted, shooing him off. He went to go hide, and you climbed to the top of one of the darker places. "A new player has joined in. One seeker, two hiders!" You shouted. You heard Niragi laugh. "Dumbass! You're letting me know where you are!" You smirked. That's what you wanted him to think.
"Oh nice! You got his glasses that's 20 points!" The boys shouted. You struggled to get out of the ropes tied your hands together. You heard Niragi groan, and looked up, seeing him on the floor, blood dripping from his nose. "Niragi!" You shouted in worry. He looked over at you, before one of the guys kicked his face into the ground. You struggled against the ropes the boys had tied around your wrist. It dug into your skin, you could feel the skin being rubbed raw from how much you had struggled against them ."So useless without eachother, huh?" One of them taunted. "Stop hurting him!" You yelled, squirming. "Oh? Would you rather we harm you then? You were always such a pretty girl... to bad you decided to defend him," the leader of their little group said, kneeling in front of you. "I don't give a damn if you hurt me. Stop hurting him!' You shouted. "(Y-y/N), don't," Niragi said, before one of the bullies kicked him in the stomach. He winced in pain, screwing his eyes shut. "Stop it! He didn't do anything to you!" You screamed, struggling even more, the ropes creating rope burn on your skin. "It's not a vengeance thing. It's fun," the leader said, grabbing your chin, making you look up at him. You glared at him in disgust, wanting so badly to just hit him, or spit on him in the moment. But you didn't. You didn't because you knew if you did either you or Niragi would get hurt. More likely Niragi, since they knew he was your weakness. "Just like it's fun making girls like you submit," he added with a smirk. "Don't you dare hurt her! Hurt me all you want, but don't touch her!" Niragi yelled. There was confidence in his words, but you also knew how scared he was. You could see it on his face. "That sounds boring though. What if we just make both of you our little puppets for the night, have you both put on a show?'' One of the guys snickered. This was followed by a chorus of 'not a bad idea' and 'sounds interesting.' You looked at Niragi, fear written all over your face.
You ran quietly, and quickly, knowing he could catch up to you. You looked around the dimly lit basement, and saw the exist to go up. Your eyes caught a flash of movement, and someone grabbed you, putting a hand over your mouth. You were shocked at first, going to scream bloody murder, before seeing it was Last Boss. He let you go, and you took a breath. "Oh my gods... dude that was scary," you whispered. He shrugged. "I have a place we can hide. I don't think he's smart enough to find it," He suggested, nodding his head over to Niragi. You stifled a laugh, and nodded, letting him lead you.
"(Y/N)! (Y/N), are you alright?" He worriedly asked, checked on you. You hissed in pain when his hands went over the bruises. "I'm sorry. This is all my fault, if I hadn't-" he started, blaming himself. You grabbed shoulders, and shook your head. "It's not your fault... it's ok," you said, sitting up. The gravel under you poked at the skin exposed from your school skirt. "I-its not ok!" He shouted. "It's... it's not ok. You shouldn't have- I could've-" he started, pulling at his hair. "Niragi. It's not your fault. You didn't... you didn't hurt me," you said, your voice calming. You grabbed his hands, pulling them towards you. You were just kids. Fucking 16 years old(not exactly a kid, but whatever), you shouldn't have to go through this stuff. No kid should. "I should be comforting you, yet here you are, making me feel better. Stop it, you're the one who-"
"Niragi, it happened to both of us. Stop acting like you're ok too."
"But- I'm supposed to... I-"
"Shut up, and come here."
He sighed, sitting besides you. You pulled his head into your lap, and he sighed. "Stop taking care of me. Stop hanging out with me, because you're the one who ends up getting hurt because of me. Please," he pleaded as you ran your fingers through his hair. "No," you responded. "(Y/N), stop being so stubborn! Please, just... just listen to me!" He shouted. You flinched at the sudden loudness. "I- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you," he apologized, noticing when you flinched. You sighed, leaning back on the concrete wall. You muttered back something along the lines of him not having to apologize. You heard thunder, and saw a flash of lightning. "It's going to rain, we should go home," Niragi said. "Don't wanna... let's stay here?" You muttered, watching the sun get covered by the clouds. You were under a bridge, so you at least had coverage. He looked up at you, and nodded. "Ok. We can," he whispered. The raindrops began to splatter on the ground outside the coverage of the bridge, and you sighed in happiness. Niragi sat up, bringing you close to him. The smell of rain filled your senses, and you couldn't help but enjoy the moment, even if you had been in emotional and physical pain before. Being there helped numb it for a while. Being with him helped numb the feeling.
"Alright... if I were (Y/N)... where would I go?" Niragi muttered to himself, walking around. It was too quiet. You weren't a quiet person unless need be, and if he remembers correctly, which he does, you had a losing streak in hide and seek since high school. You were too giggly to hide in silence, or maybe you got scared by being alone in the dark to long. Whatever it had been, you had a losing streak for almost 8 years. That was not about to change, not if he had a say in it. A part of him said he was not acting like himself, and that playing this with you was childish. Especially in the borderlands. He knew he would have to find you either way, so he stopped caring. He remembered what she had said. A new player has joined in. One seeker, two hiders! 'Ok, process of elimination....'
"So, given the fact Chishiya isn't allowed down here, I think I know who she's with, and where she is. Let's see if I'm right.''
This was more memories than actual current events... oh well- hope you enjoyed, have a wonderful day/night, baii!! Oh yeah, just because this is the only place people have a problem with me posting Niragi stuff, if you don't like it, the block button is right there, don't send me death threats or tell me to go kms. Thank you
#alice in borderland#niragi#×reader#this turned out kind of cute?#it'll probably get dark soon... might be bad

Oscar design + More Hcs
Finally, I finished the concept design of Oscar, so here it is, as promised.
I wasn’t joking when I said he looked like Bruno!
(This is just him in his uniform, but he wears a poncho over it on a daily basis. He's just forced to take the poncho off on special occasions.)
And then we have Oscar with his poncho bc he gives no fucks
More Oscar HCs
Hates kids, only tolerates Antonio bc he's his cousin and he's used to him.
"Eww... People..." *walks back into his room*
Well, not miss an opportunity to be a smartass.
"Well, actually, she wouldn't die from touching a sundew by accident, Isabella. She would only feel slight discomfort where the plant touched her." *walks away*
His hobby is judging people and he's good at it.
"I'm sorry, but did you wake up like this? Because it looks like you tossed and turned all night, got up, left that mop you call your hair untouched, then went about your day."
Puts Marta's hair up in a ponytail and fusses about how her hair is messy.
"DO YOUR HAIR MARTA! IT LOOKS LIKE A BIRD LAYS HER EGGS IN THERE!"
Ironically does not do his own hair.
Likes scaring people in the town.
Also likes to take advantage that he's an "Engendro diobolico de Bruno" and simply tells people they'll die in their sleep if they bother him.
His eyes shine green (they're already green anyway, so they basically just shine) when he's made his final decision on whether a soul gets to pass through or not. Same when he's deciding whether you're worth his time.
I said it before, but he's very obsessed with the passing of time (mostly because he's worried about the future and him not having enough time etc). He'll go through the lengths of having a timer with him at all times. He is also checking his pocket watch all the time and has posters that relate to time all around the station.
"OH! LOOK AT THE TIME!" (buts it's not sarcastic, he's actually in a real hurry)
He doesn't consider reading a pastime, he sees it as work too.
"Nope, can't. I have work." is his main excuse to not do anything.
Can summon any dead person he needs into the living world EXCEPT for his dead family members.
*summons random man* "Alright, mind telling us what you were doing at *insert time*?"
Scaring kids is his pastime.
*walks up to the three kids from the first song* "What do we have here? Perfect early death material~" *the kids run off screaming in fear*
Really misses Bruno, even though he barely remembers how he looks like.
When Bruno talks to him through the walls, he sheds a few silent tears of joy.
When Bruno comes back at the end, he sees him and tries to be mad about him being alive and not coming back.
"You... I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD! ALL THESE YEARS AND YOU LET ME BELIEVE YOU WERE DEAD!? PUT YOUR DUKES UP, OLD MAN! PUT THEM...up..." *breaks down and cries*
Hugs Bruno tightly afterward bc he misses his dad.
Cries when Bruno says he's proud of him.
He doesn't like to admit how much he loves Bruno, but everyone knows his dad is his hero.
I mentioned in my previous post that he really tolerates Mirabel, and by that I mean he shows her the most patience.
Oscar: "NEXT IN LINE" *sees Mirabel and sighs* "What now? Oh, and make it quick."
Mirabel: "Hey Oscar, you know, I was talking to Luisa earlier and you know what happened yesterday with the magic and what not... So I was wondering if you know anything about what your dad saw in his vision."
Oscar: *knocking on his desk* Knock Knock Knock Knock Knock Knock, Knock on wood. *turns back to her* No I don't know what he saw, goodbye Mirabel. NEXT IN LINE!"
Mirabel: "NO WAIT-" *gets pushed out of line, but runs into his office* "Do you, uh, know of anyone who might know?"
Oscar: *would not normally do this EVER* Have you perhaps tried asking my mom?
Mirabel: "Thank you, Oscar! You're my favorite cousin."
Oscar: "Yeah right, I don't guarantee you she knows anything though, but if anyone could know it's her." *sighs, then throws salt behind his back*
For some reason, he can vibe with Mirabel sometimes (he thinks he pities her, but he actually just cares about her and he just refuses to accept he cares about anyone but himself)
Tries his best to uphold a serious,"idk idc" image. Fails sometimes.
He literally looks like a corpse on full moons and takes full advantage of it.
Uses his appearance on full moons as an excuse to not attend events.
"You don't want to invite a corpse to your party, or do you?"
Thank you guys for the support! <3
Don't forget my requests are always open, so don't be shy! I'm trying to build up an audience! <3
Anyway,
Thank you guys,
-Mitch

Only Traitors Consort With The Damned. (Part 13)
The Lost Boys x reader
Warnings: injury, blood
Context: The boys, (Y/n) and Nico formulate a plan to get out of the cave safely.
A/N: I have a new editor! It is my good friend @jawline-of-steel and she will hopefully be helping me with editing on all of my work!😊💛💛💛
Edited By: @jawline-of-steel
Masterlist
“What do we do? There’s no way out of here except through there! We’re trapped!” I say quickly, keeping my voice down as much as i can so as not to alert anyone outside of the fact that we are very close by, “Is there anywhere we can hide?”
“In here? Yeah, there is, but I’m not sure how good the hiding places are, especially not for someone as big as him.” Dwayne muses, gesturing to Nico as he turns to David with a questioning look on his face.
“All of the hallways are blocked off by debris, and any of the crawlspaces barely fit us, so it’s doubtful that he will be able to get through.” The platinum blonde responds dismissively, though his tone betrays his nerves, the idea of a team of highly trained Hunters waiting just outside the cave worrying and unnerving to him.
“How is she supposed to walk anywhere? She’s got a busted leg, remember?” Paul interjects, pointing at me.
“One of us could carry her?” Marko suggests, which draws a low growl from Nico, his protective side showing through as he tightens his grip around me, holding me tighter to his chest.
I think for a minute, during which time the other five tense up, clearly having heard something I can't, Marko and Paul starting to look even more worried. Frowning, i look around at them all, as if asking them to clarify, though none of them care to explain; instead, David jerks his head to the side, signalling for the rest of us to follow him as he leads us through a nearby tunnel, which takes us to what i assume is their sleeping quarters, Nico having to duck down the entire time as he struggles to fit his bulk in the space. As we emerge into the area, David quickly starts talking.
“The sun is gonna come up soon, so we don’t really have too much time, but I think we can help you. If one of us carries (Y/n), then she can leave through the way we get in and out of here, which isn’t accessible by foot, so it's the safest way out. As for Nico, there’s a chance we can lure the Hunters around the caves enough for him to have a clear chance at getting out of here, but it will only work if you're fast, because they'll most likely be expecting something like this to happen. There’s a safehouse a little way away, where you can stay until you can find transport, and where one of us can stay whilst the sun is out.” The vampire swiftly explains, the rest of us nodding as we take in the plan, glad that one of us is thinking rationally.
“Hold on, why do you have a safehouse?” Nico asks, frowning in the dim light.
“Our sire made it in case anyone ever came after us.” Dwayne fills him in, before moving on again just as quickly, “Which one of us is going to carry her?”
“Paul will, he's the fastest out of the four of us, which will mean he can get to the safehouse much quicker.” David says decisively, looking to his friend for confirmation.
“I’ll do it.” The tall vampire nods, reaching out to take me from Nico, who reluctantly hands me over, giving me one last squeeze for reassurance as he passes me to the blonde.
“Hang on a sec, what about Nico? How is he supposed to know where the safehouse is?” I chip in, looking at the towering werewolf as he straightens again.
The vampires are silent for a moment, thinking the question through, clearly as stuck as I am. Eventually, Dwayne pipes up again, having thought of something.
“I guess one of us will have to go with him.” The brunette says, looking around at the others.
“Yeah, I guess that would help.” I agree, adjusting myself in Paul’s arms.
“I can do it, I'm fast enough to get out of here and into cover before the sun comes up.” Dwayne offers, looking over at Nico as the werewolf, nods appreciatively, still uneasy around the vampires, but not as much as before.
“Ok, Dwayne will go with the werewolf. We’ll stay here and out of sight as much as we can.” David says with finality, watching us all agree before speaking again, “Alright then, let's get going, I can already hear them on the steps.”
“Alright. Thank you for doing this, you really didn't have to.” I say to them all, smiling thankfully.
“No problem, Dwayne is right. We owe you this, you’ve saved our lives too many times to count.” The platinum blonde waves me off, moving to start off into a nearby hallway.
I go to say something, only for Nico to cut me off, gesturing for Paul and Dwayne to move off immediately, not allowing me to argue with him, as is often the case. Paul starts moving off, carrying me as he turns down a different way to the others, where there is already a cooler breeze blowing in from the sea just outside. I lean back against the vampire’s chest, tensing in his arms in trepidation as i think through the plan in my head, still nervous about what will happen to my friends whilst im gone, particularly David and Marko, who will be stuck in the cave with a bunch of Hunters ready to kill them at a moment’s notice, should they get themselves caught. Part of me is confident that they won’t, but the more rational part of my mind knows that there is a very high probability of things going badly, which will end even worse for the rest of us.
I am snapped from my thoughts by the sound of the roaring ocean, the cave now widening out into a cavern that is filled with crashing waves, the far end ïleading to the sea itself, the horizon still cloaked in darkness despite the proximity of dawn that is fast approaching.
“You're gonna want to hold on tight.” Paul warns me, waiting for me to grip him with more force before he kicks off the ground, the disorientation that comes with his floating slightly off-putting as I become stiff in his arms.
“Hey, relax. I'm not going to drop you.” The vampire promises, before he starts to move off towards the front of the cave and out into the open.
*
My back aches as I slouch in the chair I'm sat in, my fingers knotted together as I watch the doorway, my lip already in shreds from how much I've been biting it, every muscle in my body tense with nerves. Across from me, Paul eyes me in concern, knowing that every movement I'm making is upsetting the injury on my knee, which is throbbing painfully now, though I am ignoring it in favour of staring at the space where Nico and Dwayne should appear.
"They'll make it, (Y/n), don't worry." The vampire tries to reassure me, though he isn't too convinced, looking just as worried and uneasy as i feel.
"I hope so." I manage back, my jaw clenched and tight, though I am doing my best to relax it.
We wait in silence again for a few moments, neither of us daring to say a word in case we miss the tell tale sounds of someone entering the safe house through the hatch in the abandoned gas station above, the actual door itself squeaky and stiff from disuse. It takes a little while, but eventually we hear it, at which point Paul moves to stand by the doorway, ready to intercept if it should be someone unsavoury, rather than the supernatural beings we are expecting. I sit up straighter, my eyes trained on the doorway, anxiously awaiting whoever it is, the heavy footsteps becoming more and more audible as they approach.
Suddenly, the familiar, lithe silhouette of Dwayne enters the candlelight, the brunette limping a little, his bare chest stained red with blood, Nico just behind him, the werewolf completely bare, his skin covered in sweat, blood and dirt. A few cuts litter his chest, though there is a wound on his shoulder where the shaft of a crossbow bolt is just visible. The German instantly comes over to me as he sees me, ignoring any pain as he chooses instead to pull me into an awkward embrace, glad to see I'm alright.
"Thank God you're ok!" He hums into my hair, pulling back to look me in the eye.
"I'm fine, Nico, though I can't say the same about you. What happened?" I respond, looking between him and Dwayne, who has sat down beside me on a different chair.
"There were some waiting for us outside the cave. We fought them off, but we both got hurt in the process. Nico took a crossbow bolt for me." The vampire informs me, nodding thankfully at the werewolf.
"And you took a bullet for me. We are even." He responds, smiling at the vampire in his usual crooked way, moving away from me when he finally notices that he is still naked, "Are there any clothes in here that I could wear?"
"Err, yeah man, they're over there. What happened to your first ones?" Paul asks, looking a little confused.
Nico sends him an odd look, obviously wondering if the vampire is joking.
"My clothes were destroyed when I transformed."
"You transformed?!" Paul exclaims, going wide-eyed as he looks over the huge werewolf.
"It was the only way either of us would be fast enough." Dwayne cuts in, groaning as he pulls a bullet out of his shoulder with his fingers.
"Oh, right." His friend nods, going to the brunette's side to offer his aid.
Across from us, Nico roughly yanks out the crossbow bolt, growling as he does so, pulling on a shirt that is much too small for him after, knowing that the wounds will heal themselves in a little while. Once done, he moves to sit on a sofa nearby, only to come and help me up when I gesture to him that I'd like to join him. Carrying me over to the sofa, the werewolf sits down with me, placing me beside him as he leans back, clearly tired.
Tired now, I watch as Paul helps Dwayne with his injuries, the two vampires talking quietly amongst each other, clearly worried about David and Marko, who are most likely still running from the Hunters back at the cave, the two of them in great danger. Unconsciously, I let my head drop onto Nico's shoulder, my eyelids starting to droop as I start to give in to the sleep I've been fighting off all night, the perpetual warmth from his body soothing and calming to me, his arm coming up to support me as he carefully manoeuvres us so that he's lying back against the arm of the sofa, my body resting on his. In this new position I quickly feel myself start to lose consciousness, my muscles finally relaxing as I let myself fall asleep.

Five feet apart
request: Kelley O’Hara x fem reader normal imagine where kels likes r but thinks r doesn’t feel the same because they are really good friends
pairing: Kelley O’Hara x Reader
words: 1162
Kelley opened her car door and stepped out of the vehicle with the keys and a bottle of water.
Your car was parked directly next to hers and you leaned against it as you waited for your best friend to join you.
"You're late." You said and uncrossed your arms.
"Sorry, didn't know what to wear." She replied and locked her car.
Kelley was dressed in ripped jeans with a white shirt and a snapback, sunglasses resting on her face. You couldn't deny it, she looked damn good.
"You're very close to topping Tobin's record there, Kels." You giggled and pushed yourself away from the car to hug her.
Kelley held her breath, every time you came too close to her she panicked. Every time you guys touched, even if it was just a brush of your fingers against hers, her heart did flips.
She cleared her throat and readjusted her glasses as you stepped back, trying to appear somewhat normal.
You knew something was wrong with her, you just couldn't quite place your finger on it, yet.
"Alright, so what first?" She asked as you guys started walking away from the parking lot.
"Christen told me she'd meet up with us at this location. Easy walk from here." You showed her your phone with the location Christen had sent earlier.
"How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun?" Kelley asked and opened her bottle.
You frowned and looked down to your feet. Since when does she ask such weird questions. She knew exactly what your plans were and what you actually did. Just yesterday you talked about it.
"Um– still the same as yesterday, nothing much changed." You replied. Both of you fell into an awkward silence.
Luckily you arrived at the meeting point rather quick without any more of her weird behavior.
"There you are, guys. Tobin was about to just leave already." Christen laughed and hugged both of you.
"I was on time for this!" She winked and you did your special handshake. Kelley tried hard not to feel too jealous.
She knew Tobin had been interested in Christen for a while now but couldn't help herself to feel jealous about the connection you had with her or that maybe, just maybe, you had a crush on her.
She quickly shook her head, how could she ever think about that? Tobin is one of your best friends and nothing more. This was just her head trying to mess with her heart.
The four of you spent the rest of the afternoon roaming through the city, going shopping, drinking coffee and enjoying delicious food.
"This would be a great double date." Kelley thought to herself. Tobin was probably thinking the same.
As the sun was slowly starting to set you guys arrived at the lake. Christen and you were walking in the front, talking about everything and anything, occasionally laughing about jokes.
Tobin and Kelley walked a little behind just enjoying the view, both in front of them and the lake.
"You know, she told me about you acting rather strange around her. What's this about? She's worried you're turning away from her." Tobin said and looked at her friend with worry.
"Oh, she did?"
"I'm not an idiot, Kelley. I can see that you like her. Only a fool wouldn't."
Kelley sighed and felt her heart flipping as she saw you smiling at something Chris said. "I guess in that case she's the fool then. I don't wanna ruin our friendship with my stupid feelings."
"How would you know though? You never told her!"
"Yeah, how could I? Don't you listen? She's not interested. I'm not gonna spoil this just because I felt selfish." Tobin groaned and slapped her forehead.
"How can you be so blind. Go and talk to her! If you don't do something now you'll regret."
Kelley's eyes widened at Tobin's words.
"What? That could ruin the whole evening. I don't know." Her feet kicked a few small stones away from her.
"Why'd you stop, guys?" Tobin asked confused.
"This spot looks good enough for a group selfie, don't you think? With the sunset and all that." You suggested and got your phone all set up already.
Kelley held her breath as you stepped next to her, one of your arms around her waist and your head laying on her shoulder.
You handed your phone to Tobin, who had the best position to take the photo.
"Ready, set, go." She said and all of you smiled as she snapped the picture.
"Um, Y/N? Could we talk for a second? They can walk ahead." Kelley gestured towards the other two, Tobin catching on and dragging Christen away.
You turned away from Kelley and watched the sunset while she nervously bit her lip trying to find the right words.
"Alright, Kelley. What's actually going on? Are you okay?" You asked, growing more confused with the second.
"I'm fine, kinda. It's complicated. Ugh, I don't know where to start." She said and stepped next to you.
"You're my best friend and we talk about anything and everything. I'm sure we can talk this out too, Kels."
"I caught feelings for someone," Your first reaction was shock and fear. "But I know it'll ruin everything." You took a deep breath and looked at her.
"First of all I'm happy for you and I'm sure they'll appreciate your feelings but why would that ruin anything?" You said with a pained smile.
The thought of Kelley falling in love with somebody that wasn't you hurt a lot.
"It's you, Y/N. I've had feelings for you for quite a while now. I can't hold that back anymore. I'm sorry, I know you don't feel the same and I hope we're gonna stay friends, you know."
"Wait, what?" Your eyes widened. "Kelley, what the fuck? Why didn't you tell me earlier?" You exclaimed.
"I was scared. I didn't wanna ruin our friendship. You mean too much to–" Before Kelley could finish her sentence you jumped into her arms and kissed her as if your life depended on it.
The both of you practically moaned into the kiss, your hands around the back of her neck while her hands grabbed your hair with force.
"Get a room you two!" Christen shouted and made you break the kiss. You flipped her off but giggled against Kelley's lips.
"We just might do that." Kelley whispered and gave you a light kiss on your nose.
"I'm so glad you told me. I was just as scared as you." You said and took her hand.
"Tobin made me do this. I didn't have the courage, so thank her then." She chuckled.
Joining Tobin and Christen, who had big grins on their faces, you spent the rest of the evening walking along the lake until it was time to get back home.
You arrived here lonely and single but tonight you'd be leaving not so single anymore.

Azriphale doesn't mean to be late yet here he is running through a crowded sidewalk people giving him nasty sideways glances. He isn't technically late but he isn't early; everyone in Heaven is slightly early as the term "fashionably late" was made by a demon and no angel wants to be associated with one of those. Well besides two; one of which is dubbed a traitor and the other is desperately weaving through crowds and could be considered a hypocrite if anyone is to find out why.
The reason he is running late is because of Heaven; an angel gone off the deep end. They created quite a ruckus- shouting threats at everyone, causing damage to walls, and pulling up several plants from a garden. It was a fit not tolerated in Heaven and so it ended with them being locked in a room until further notice. He being the one to find an unoccupied room as well as having to catch them. Aziraphale is almost positive they'd have to put them through a trial (and he'd have to organize it) but when is still in the unforeseeable future. Even if he does calm down in that time period they is no possible way of getting out of a punishment.
The angel arrives just on time but his face falls at the sight of the demon, Crowely, has already nabbed a table. An odd feeling, that isn't embarrassing, arises in him at the thought of the demon sitting at the table, awaiting his arrival. An odd tingly half familiar feeling he shoves down while approaching the demon in wait.
"I would usually apologize for being late but l, since you are a demon and I don't dare say sorry to your kind, I won't," Azriphale states sitting down not daring to make eye contact with the other.
"You aren't late, really you're perfectly on time. But our kind don't take well to apologies anyhow; anyone who tries we throw into the hell hound pit and bet on how long they will last," Crowely says and Azriphale looks up; the most horrific look plastered on his face. "I'm joking! I'm joking! Thought a being from Heaven could take a joke!" He lets out a hearty chuckle and Azriphale gives a forced smile in return.
Crowely is only half-way being truthful in this, as he is with most things, as demons tend to throw each other in hell hound cages all the time. The difference being from what he said is that apologies don't cause such a reaction; it really is just a sporadic action done whenever something mildly inconvenient but thoroughly irritating happens. He doesn't explain the logistics though as he can clearly see the angel is troubled.
Why he cares is a completely different story that Crowley will rather not want to think about. If he did try to explain though the conversation that followed would contain lots of half truths, hissing, stuttering, made up words (which if you mention that they are made up he will snarkily reply with "well all languages are made up) and end with someone getting stabbed in a major artery. So it's best to leave him be with his unusual consideration.
"I suppose we should get right on to business since the jokes have ceased?" 'And proven to be unfunny' but Azriphale only adds that on in silence. He doesn't want to push any buttons he doesn't have to today.
"Thinking 'bout ordering drinks first; Hell has been a bitch like usual and I've needed something to take my mind off it. So drinks first, work talk after,"
"Drinks don't sound half bad," He momentarily massages his temples before picking up the drink menu "With no war I'm assuming Hell's been rowdy?"
"Rowdy is a group of bratty teens whose equally bratty parents are going out for a month. Hell is a barnyard that has no food, drink, or cages and several exotic animals. Everyone is ravenous. Demons are thirsting for bloodshed so much we've had to bust several groups trying to form secret strikes to Heaven that would not only fail miserably but be embarrassing to see play out. One guy thought he could do a solo mission- and I have little respect for your army but I'm also not stupid and would send a single low ranking demon against God's army," Crowley rants and if not for the waitress' arrival he would've gone on a tangent. He orders the drinks flatly and expects Azriphale to follow suit immediately.
The angel however is smiling at him which led to a flick of rage ignite. What had he to smile about? That hell was hellish and chaotic? He should know that just because everything is a shit-show they were not to be reckoned with.
"Same wine as his, dear," Azriphale addresses to the waitress and she smiles politely before heading back to the kitchen. "I find it amusing; the angels above are getting antsy themselves. Today actually one of them was found flinging a sword around wildly yelling about how they would deliver "divine justice" to anyone in their path. Of course angels aren't as cruel as demons but...the war not happening has thrown everyone off course. Even the most mild mannered".
That's why he was smiling- a light weight lifts off Crowley's shoulders. "This is exactly why the two traitors need to be dealt with soon- I feel it would bring ease to everyone. Including, the eventual, second Armageddon," The waitress returns a smile of ignorance on her face. She didn't understand how weeks ago she should've perished nor does she know what these "fine" gentlemen are discussing. All she knows is what wine and food they order and all she hopes is that they give her a significant tip.
"No doubt; those trouble makers will be given proper justice," Azriphale says picking up his glass of Chardonnay.
"And no mercy," Crowely adds on, raising his own glass "Toast for the second Armageddon that-is-hopefully-soon-to-come, Angel?"
"To a successful second apocalypse!" The two clink glasses both wearing uncharacteristic smiles and having found a new sense of determination.
"Ssso you're ssaying?" Crowely slurs out, its blurred whether alcohol or his snake side were responsible for his long s'. Many drinks are shared between the two and many more were to come. Business is attempting to be addressed but as neither has the gull, or maybe the relaxation is a tad addictive, to sober up halfway thought up plans were being discovered.
"I say that- well I think anyway. Why not just, we'll just watch the two! Eventually they'll bl-blab out something of importance! How they- how they gone- they gone to go be naive,"
"Native, you ssstupid Angel,"
"Oh, same difference! It doesn't matter exact terminology. All that matters is...well is the- the plan," Azriphale waves his hands around before returning to his empty glass. Instead of flagging down the waitress, they had the poor girl running back and forth like mad, he flicks his fingers and both glasses fill up. Crowley opens his mouth to say something but thinks better of it and sips the wine. "Whether its the Great Plan or Ineffable Plan or might as well be Plan B, I really don't care. We just need a plan,"
"We have our plan," Crowley says with a slight huff.
"Our plan?" The words our, referring to him and Crowely feel so foreign, scandalous even, but fit on his tongue like a well tailored outfit.
"Yeah- Watch Gabriel and Beelzebub until they fuck up again. Y'know feel too safe let some information slip. Maybe we'll learn a weakness or two-whatever. And once we know all the right sstuff we crush them!" Crowley slams his fist on the table to reiterate his point.
"Our plan," Azriphale still echoes quietly as if it is a secret to keep. Which in a way it is; if the other Archangels knew what he's up too, even under the sake of serving retribution, he could get in big trouble. Consorting with Demons led to well... he looks up at Crowley whom he's had two meetings with so far and more to come...apparently it led to professionals getting involved to track you down to find your weaknesses.
Sure maybe the other Angels wouldn't understand and take what he's doing a completely wrong way but he is doing what is good! Surely if he wasn't God would punish him, right?
"I'd say let's get dessssert before we head out our separate ways, eh?" Crowely says bringing the fretting Angel out of his worries (or at least creating a temporary distraction from them).
"Dessert sounds lovely. I heard the creme brulee is to die for,".
