So, the greek gods just exist in the DC universe, which has some interesting implications. So, Dionysus, greek god of wine, ritual madness, theater and frankly a lot of things beyond the scope of wine, he just straight up exists.

An interesting thing about him is that he's often referred to as "twice born" and sometimes is worshiped as a chthonic deity with ties to the underworld and resurrection

Hmmm... Twice born... Resurrection... Bisexual as hell...

Danny as an avatar of Dionysus

Not the god himself, more so a conduit for his power, much like Captain Marvel. He has been divinely touched and the powers of the god flow through him. Danny gains the ability to grow grape vines, and use them much the same as Poison Ivy could. Turning people into animals, and of course cause madness

The Bacchae details Dionysus's return to his birthplace of Thebes in disguise with his entourage of bacchants(followers/revelers) to punish the mistreatment of his mother and their refusal to acknowledge him as a god

Danny returns to his birthplace, Gotham. He is there with his friends to meet his birthmother and make his father acknowledge him. The problem?

Danny is the son of Harley Quinn and his father is the Joker, and the Joker doesn't like to be upstaged, his son or not...

Literally just got home after watching Furiosa and it's almost 1am so I'm too sleepy to write a proper post. I'll just say that as soon as I saw Tim Burns I had a nostalgia moment and loudly squeed "Johnny the Boy!"

Sonic 06 rambling about Mephiles and the confusing ass timelines involving Sonic, Shadow and Silver

I'm labeling silvers timeline, where he originates from, as apocalypse 1 or A1 for short. The straightshot timeline that we watch triple S in I'll call TS2.

Okay so I got an idea, I need to put down. With all the strings that are laid out in 06, with confusing time shenanigans and paradoxes. I fully believe Shadow was framed by Mephiles in timeline A1. Because of a few questions that I thought of, where the hell is Sonic? Why would Shadow be locked away? Mephiles is an unreliable narrator, you're really gonna believe it's just because "oh you're a powerful weapon, yeet!"? I sense bullshit, people weren't scared of Shadow, Mephiles was scared of Shadow, so he had to set shit up in A1 to fear monger the public.

What's the one thing that always goes down with new male hedgehog characters, mistaken identity. Sonic mistaken for Shadow, Shadow being mistaken for Sonic, Silver being mistaken for Sonic. Silver even thought Shadow was Mephiles.

So what I'm laying down is when Iblis is released after Elise dies, during the beginning stages of A1, Mephiles in the shape of Shadow killed Sonic, the one person who has the ability to take down gods. G.U.N or whoever that was there to witness the event saw "Shadow" doing insane shit and Shadow's yoinked out of the game, the last threat, A1 is now set in stone. Game's set for Silver and Blaze to struggle in A1 and eventually be manipulated and enter TS2 (timeline Mephiles plans to rejoin with Iblis).

Unlike all the other characters, Mephiles isn't tethered to a set point in time. After being released in TS2 he could easily go back to A1 and do whatever needs to be done to try and sell whatever narrative he's pushing. And you can't tell me someone as insane as Mephiles wouldn't pull some galaxy brained complicated timeline bullshit to try and get his way. Curating the perfect setup to where Silver would be desperate enough to go along with what Mephiles was saying. But in order to do that Mephiles would need to remove both Sonic and Shadow out of the equation, so that's what he did. He needed a successful apocalypse and can't have two powerhouse hedgehogs threatening Iblis' takeover

TLDR: In Silvers base timeline Mephiles murdered Sonic and framed Shadow, so Iblis can cause the apocalypse and Mephiles could easily manipulate Silver to go along with with his plan.
