I feel like both extremes on the opinions of diet and body fat are fucking stupid. Yes, of course being skinny is not authomatically 'healthy'. Yes, of course there's bullshit diets that do more harm than good and don't work for most people. And yes, there's a huge fatphobia problem around the world in which we are more happy with shaming and humiliating fat people in the guise of 'concern'.
But I feel like the whole 'body positivity' movement has really distorted some people's view on the relationship between body & health and created some sort of weird echo chamber that will actively shun away contradicting evidence and opinions on the matter of having a healthy life style. And I'm saying this because it honestly fucked up my own perception of my health for years and it still kinda does.
I'll be frank: I don't hate my body and I don't hate being fat, so for years I always ate whatever I felt like without any regards of what it did to me physically or mentally. Thing is that I was also depressed as hell (unrelated to my body image), but for the longest time I refused to do anything to significantly change my lifestyle because I thought that being okay with how my body was would be good enough.
So turns out that I'm type 2 diabetes, which I've been diagnosed since last year. So, if I want to keep on being alive I actually have to take care of what I eat and do exercise.
But at the start I really didn't want to give a shit, because as much as I told myself that my body looked fine (and I look fine af), I'm kind of miserable and suicidal to the point that I'd rather live a short life and keep eating what I wanted and do as little exercise as I wanted. It was both apathy and denial what made me resist the idea of changing my way of life, and I hated to change parts of myself, because in spite of my inner self-loathing, I genuinely loved my body and I didn't want to let anything or anyone to tell me that it was wrong for me to look the way I did. For years I perceived anybody criticizing my weight and size as a fatphobic snob, and some of them really were fatphobic snobs, but some of them had legitimate concerns over my health since both sides of my family have had people who suffered diabetes and I stubbornly ignored all the warning signs until they became too blatant to ignore
I have lost weight since then, not as much as to stop being fat, but just enough to be noticeable. In fact, a lot of the fat I've lost has actually become muscle, so I think a lot of whiners would just say that I am not trying 'hard enough', but right now I'm just doing what is necessary to behealthy. It's tough to quit sweets, it's frustrating to search for products without lots of added sugar and sometimes I end up eating things I know will fuck up my blood sugar, but I realized that I do want to live and in order to keep living for a bit longer I need to stop pretending that it's okay for me to keep eating whatever the heck I want. I need to go that extra mile because my life kinda depends on it.
Now that I am living with this disease, I can't help but to cringe whenever I read and watch people dismissing the idea that all types of exercising and dieting is inherently evil or whatever, because of course there's people who push stupid exercise routines and even stupider diets because of an unattainable beauty standard, but the thing is: you can't expect to keep a healthy body by eating whatever you want all the time and doing nothing at all to balance it out. It's not even about being skinny either, it's simply a matter of acknowledging that the human body Needs a balanced diet in order to stay healthy, no matter the size.
And I have to mention how fucked up it is that junk food is so easy to find and cheaper too, and depending on where you live, fruits and veggies and protein might be more expensive, so it's fucked up that capitalism is trying not only to make healthy diets a luxury but overall balanced meals a struggle for all the lower income people, but that doesn't stop what I said about health from being true. It's fucked up and I hate it too, I wish eating healthy was easier and affordable for everyone, and I wish I didn't need to be having this issue at all to begin with, but let's not kid ourselves: just because being fat is not inherently unhealthy doesn't mean that we should be complacent with unbalanced eating habits either.

it's amazing and freeing to weigh 300 pounds and have almost no shame about my body. im happy to have photos taken of me, i look forward to trying on clothes in changing rooms, i view weight-related physical problems with mild frustration and acceptance instead of embarrassment. i am trying to lose weight very slowly because of the discomfort of weighing so much, but i'm doing that out of compassion and care for myself.
tbh i've spent the last 5 years not restricting at all and putting weight management to the side as i worked on myself (i gained 30 pounds, but im ok with that). and now it feels so different to come back to these weight management tools (which were given to me by a psychologist specializing in evidence-based nutrition and disordered eating) with a desire to be healthy in all aspects of my life and compassionate towards myself. ive never lost weight before without it being a punishment motivated by self-hate. but self-hate is a terrible motivator because you can't hold onto a strong negative emotion like that for long. eventually you'll push it away and find relief in whatever comforts you most
i suppose you can call what im doing now "restricting" but im somebody that naturally eats due to emotion and compulsion so it does help to have a guide on how much i should eat. it still comes out to 2000 calories. and if im hungry, i eat.
anyway, i do think that anti-diet-culture politics and weight management can coexist

pls tell us ur thoughts on veganism (#2 from the ask thing)
my thoughts are good! i've been exclusively plant based before for years and i had a largely good experience with it, and i think it's a great thing to do for people who want to and are able but i also completely understand not wanting to. i also think it very often gets made out to be something it's not, but every diet and lifestyle has adherents who are kinda...deranged and misrepresent it. there are people who hate vegans for very stupid reasons and there are also vegans who are very hateable for very good reasons that are not their diet (usually extremely problematic influencers) but like, vegans aren't monolithic so it can all get pretty frustrating and exhausting to witness the media try to come to some singular conclusion about a huge movement and massive number of people based on a really myopic view of very loud and bad examples.
like anti-vegan raw meat fitness bros and shithead podcasters who antagonise vegans are putrid but so are the vegans who view themselves as morally bulletproof for loving animals while being very privileged, out of touch and racist, wearing plastic fur and leather, shaming people in food deserts or referring to sustainable and traditional practices of indigenous cultures as "barbaric".
it's also not a miracle cure or protective spell against cancer and people who tout it as one are fucking cunts. there's a few public figures here in australia who have done a lot to make vegans look completely insane, saying it will cure anything from covid to brain cancer or smearing themselves in blood and shrieking at people in restaurants. but then there are also always people who are eager to denigrate everyday vegans for nothing at all.
but in my own experience i've never really gotten into any irl discourse with anyone about it, every vegan i've known personally was very normal about it and so was i when it was a part of my life. the people who make asses out of themselves on either side duking it out online and in the media in some kind of eternal hot take battle clearly have bigger issues than what they do or don't put in their mouths and on their bodies. they mostly have a lot of misplaced anger or shame or really any combination of vitriol and distress and this is one of the hills they've chosen to loudly die on as a coping mechanism. at the end of the day their main issue is that they haven't made peace with the limits of their own influence and their sphere of control and it's broken their brains so the anti-vegans hatefully obsess over people not eating bacon and the unhinged self-appointed ambassadors of veganism do reprehensible shit like comparing eating animals to the holocaust. like when piers morgan interviewed tash peterson i wanted the studio to collapse and kill them both lol
in my own experience, my own circle and my own day to day life it has been a primarily positive thing. the main negative i've experienced and the reason i'm not currently exclusively plant based (or exclusively anything) is that following any kind of specific or rule based diet has triggered a relapse into disordered eating for me in the past. that's a whooooole different conversation for another time lol but i'll just say that the vast majority of what i eat now is plant based, and when it comes to the fraction of my diet that isn't, i'm not going to guilt myself over it. while i can't claim to be doing EVERYTHING i can, i'm doing as much as i can while prioritising my mental health and enjoyment of life and i'm a lot healthier now doing that, physically and mentally, than i was when i was a raw vegan letting the concepts of morality and purity and right and wrong in regards to food trigger me into a greenwashed relapse.
i also have the awareness to know that my subjective experience with that pitfall is not the fault of vegan philosophy, just a distortion of it peddled by "wellness" culture that i was particularly susceptible to given my past experiences. and besides, charlatans are not exclusive to veganism, the people on tiktok spruiking raw liver diets and borax smoothies also claim to be doing it in the pursuit of some nebulous ideal of "wellness" so....
basically in conclusion i still personally see the value in being as plant based as i can feasibly and comfortably be, but my relationship to food has been so complex and difficult in the past that i'm ok with pursuing something i see as worthwhile without allowing shame or pursuit of perfection to factor in. and i've also got enough going on with my own relationship to food that i don't really care what anyone else puts in their mouths. if you're vegan or not, just do what you feel is right and what works for you and makes you happy. regardless of my own feelings on veganism and my own history and future with it, everyone and anyone else's diet is firmly outside of my jurisdiction and none of my business. we've seen how trying to dictate the dietary choices of other people has made both pro and anti vegan people become crazy assholes so let's just focus on our own choices because that's all any of us can really control.
(oh my god i didn't mean to write you a novel but all these thoughts just spilled out lol, sorry for the text wall and thank u for asking! <3<3)
#turns out i had a lot more thoughts on it than i knew lol#but yeah your diet is your business eat a cheeseburger or don't idc about anyone's diet but my own we're all gonna die anyway lol#p

I already don't use facebook all that much but I legit am considering just giving it up entirely bcs every time I post about how frustrated diet culture makes me, especially now that I'm trying to do anti-inflammatory gluten free stuff, I get people replying defending weight loss and trying to explain why keto and 1400 cal diets and intermitent fasting and never eating sugar/carbs/fat is all perfectly normal and healthy for the average person to do and it's legit distressing.
Like I don't even want to post about being happy I'm making these dietary changes bcs of a food intolerance bcs I'm worried people are gonna see it as me like, defending diet culture or contributing to it or giving in or something and it makes me feel so gross. Almost makes me think I need to put big, giant disclaimers at the top of my posts like "this is because I have a medical condition and is NOT an endorsement of fad diets and weight loss, if you do not have a food intolerance you have no reason to go gluten free it's literally pointless" at the top but that would probably just make everyone more upset.
#it was aggrivating before but now I'm legit worried my medical condition is gonna be seen as like#weight loss inspo or some shit and just thinking about that makes me want to scream#ask to tag#cw diet culture#cw weight loss#personal#vent#negative

Oh boy, it's venting time.
So 3 months ago, I took my cat, Little Foot, to my local vet after noticing she wasn't able to pick her head up all the way. After screening her and taking blood samples, the doctor reported that she had kidney disease and was going through renal failure. I didn't know she had that disease when I adopted her from her previous foster parent. She's 17, so at this point, it's to be expected. I had the vet keep her overnight to help her recuperate. Her health improved within a few days, and she was shortly discharged. Now that I was aware of her condition, I paid closer attention to her and changed her food to a renal friendly diet. Her health continued to improve, and she has lasted, honestly, longer than I expected her to. However, lately, she has stopped eating her dry food entirely. Even when I water it down (thinking it'll be easier on her teeth). I quickly switched to wet food, and she was enthusiastic about eating that. But recently, she has stopped eating altogether. Will barely drink her water. Has stopped using her litterbox. And wasn't able to walk on her own anymore. After seeing that she was dragging her back legs... it broke my fuckin' heart. I don't need a doctor to know that she's at the end stage of kidney failure. And that's where my frustration with this whole situation comes in.
I was told in the past that the culture in Japan in regards to euthanasia for pets is vastly different than the US. You'll be hard pressed to find a vet that will provide that service. It's basically a "they must pass naturally" attitude. But after seeing Little Foot like this, I decided to look more into the validity of that. I find a few threads on similar experiences and saw a bunch of people saying, "You need to be direct with the vet and request putting them down. The doctor won't openly suggest that to the owner. It's seen as disrespectful." Okay, now that I know that, I'll take her in and see if my vet will help with that. It's worth a shot. I can't imagine the pain she's going through, nor can I bear to see her suffer like this any longer than she needs to. Even though I'm aware the injection is extremely painful, it only lasts a few moments... I think in comparison, a few moments of pain is better than days of prolonged suffering.
I took her in this morning and asked the receptionist if that was an option they could provide. She said it depends on the condition, and it'll be at the doctor's discretion. It was relieving to hear but also heartbreaking having to wait, thinking this may be it... I'll lose her. I couldn't hold it in any longer and awkwardly cried in the waiting room. After a while we finally get into the examination room, and I speak to the doctor via translator on what her recommendation is. Of course, she refused. Logic being " While her condition is severe, she can still be treated with liquid IVs and thus have a fighting chance and live longer, so euthanasia isn't a consideration." Which comes off to me as a very Japanese way of saying, "We'll euthanize her when she's about to take her last breath."
To be completely honest? It took everything in me to control my frustration after that. I had to focus on staring at Little Foot while petting her to keep my cool. The rest of the conversation was about administering IV shots, and at one point the doctor suggested anti-vomiting meds. That set me off.
"That's not necessary. She hasn't touched her food in two days. She doesn't have anything in her stomach to throw up. And I can't force food down her throat."
After that I only remember bits and pieces of the conversation. I recall acknowledging the difference in culture/opinion, said at this point I'll just take her back home and let her pass naturally since there's nothing more I can do. But while I'm here I'll have her get liquid IV administered. In part to ease the doctor's concern and the other part because she seemed so adamant about the rehydration helping with getting Little Foot's energy and appetite back. Again. Worth a shot, I suppose.
There were two phrases the doctor said throughout this whole visit that just... really pissed me off though.
"Your last visit was 3 months ago. We can't just put her down out of the blue." and "I'm sorry you didn't get what you wanted from this visit."
I get the sense that's an indirect way of saying I didn't do everything I could for her and I'm at fault. That I'm in the wrong for even suggesting euthanasia in the first place. Like, what in the actual fuck do you expect me to do then? This vet advocates letting them pass naturally, which was my orginal intention and reason why I didn't come in sooner. But I'm subtly jabbed at for that. And then once I learn I may have another (more humane imo) option, I'm treated like I'm some killer that they thwarted. You're damned if you do, damned if you don't.
I'm trying really hard to view it from a doctor's perspective. It makes more sense if it's a "I don't want to be the one to prematurely end a life and have that on my conscience" kind of way, that's understandable. I get that, I won't push any further. But at least be fuckin' direct about it so there's no confusion.
All of that aside... we're back home. The liquid IVs didn't seem to help that much. Little Foot can barely move on her own now. She won't touch her food or water bowl when I hold her steady and place them in front of her. She can't get up to pee anymore. Just lays in place. She is starting to cry out... either in pain or for assistance, I can't tell anymore... This is breaking my heart. She's struggling and I can't help ease her suffering. All I can do is coax her to eat/drink, clean her up after accidents and keep her company with an abundance of pets and kisses. This is so fuckin' hard. She is the sweetest little bean, she doesn't deserve to go through all this. I wish she can just be at peace soon. I love her so fuckin' much.

I have to agree with @thisgingerhasnosoul on this @bisexualseraphim. I'm an gentile/goy who was born & raised in a culturally-Christian country (though neither me nor my parents are Christian ourselves, my parents both left Christianity before they met each other). But I could still see the western "Pro-Palestine" movement was sketchy.
Before October 7th, I naively assumed that if Israel got hit badly, that most leftists would realise how bad Hamas was. After all, I could see how bad they were & with the exception of my pro-Israel/pro-Ukraine/pro-Taiwan stance, there's not much daylight between me & a lot of leftists. I called myself a leftist until probably November (I don't know what to call myself now, the other labels don't fit either).
Just so you know @bisexualseraphim, I glanced at your profile & despite our disagreement on Israel, we agree on more than we disagree on @bisexualseraphim. I always find people like you the most confusing of the anti-Israel crowd because our other positions are similar enough that our thought processes can't be that different. And yet, we are on opposite sides of this issue as I despise Hamas & support Israel in its right to self-defense.
I also despise transphobes (a given, I'm transfem), racists (I'm white-passing but most of my mum's side of the family isn't & because Dad moved up here with Mum, that's the side I grew up knowing), queerphobes (I'm bisexual), ableists & misogynists. I'm not vegan or vegetarian myself, but I find the commitment of those who choose their diets on moral principles rather than taste or health (I don't eat red meat or consume drinks that aren't water for health reasons) to be worth admiring, rather than distaining.
If MRA means what I think it means, yeah those guys suck & I don't like thinking about them.
Your dislike of conservatives tells me that you are probably pro-choice, pro-euthanasia, support a fully decarbonised economy, improvements to public health care & public education & free tertiary education. Perhaps a guaranteed minimum income system (or even UBI), limits to the number of houses a single person can own, increased taxation of millionaires & billionaires, improved funding for the ATO (or your country's equivalent of it), reforestation of some areas that were deforested by humans in the past & free public transport that goes everywhere in the city regardless of time of day. Great, those are all positions I hold.
I too get frustrated by those who scream "they are only two genders". Those ignoramuses ignore the fact that intersex people exist. They ignore all the studies that show that transwomen's brains are closer to that of ciswomen's brains than cismen's brains even before the commencement of HRT, which does tilt it slightly further still. They ignore that other studies shows the same holds for transmen. They ignore the possibility that since we know that sexuality & biological sex are spectrums, than gender identity must be as well.
I agree that those who insist on a transmedicalist approach are being overly narrow-minded. I got my surgeries because I needed it to deal with my own dysphoria, which worked for me. But not all trans people have dysphoria. Of those who do have dysphoria, some don't want to take the risks associated with surgery which is fair enough, one mistake by the surgeon & you are dead (my surgeon required me to know the risks before approving me for surgery. He didn't take clients who didn't know the risks). Others literally can't afford the costs of surgery. Gatekeeping around whether or not you are post-op excludes our poorest members.
That's actually one of the things I like about Israel. Israeli citizens can get gender confirmation surgery covered under their public health system. And those who won't get GCS can still change their legal gender. I learnt this when comparing the rights in my country to the rest of the world before I had my surgeries. In Australia, we have to pay for GCS out of our own pocket. Most of us can't afford the exorbitant costs. I burnt through most of my savings paying for it. Also, at the time QLD still required GCS to get a legal gender change, which was scummy as we can die in at least three different ways if things go wrong.
And I agree that throwing xenogender individuals, non-binary & genderfluid individuals under the bus is just stupidity I'm binary. I identify solely as female. But the bigots want me dead too & throwing those who are xenogender under the bus won't save binary transpeople like myself, it just means we have fewer allies when they come for us (the LNP hates us, so if they win QLD in October, things will get bad here). Also I don't get why anyone cares if someone is xenogender or genderfluid. It doesn't harm anyone, why should anyone else raise a fuss about it.
I hate how our societies treat the mentally atypical. I have Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Insomnia & Sensory Processing Disorder. Most of my relatives have some kind of neurodivergent conditions. On top of what I got, the following also appear in the family: Schizoaffective, Bipolar, Depression, PTSD, everything in Clusters A & C & most of Cluster B. We are basically just missing HPD (from Cluster B) & DID as far as I know. And even that may be because I'm not told everything. So I have seen & experienced how our society fails us.
As for the British monarchy. Yeah, they are useless wastes of space & I don't understand why we still fund their lifestyle in the 21st century. Just abolish it already.
So we agree on more than we don't @bisexualseraphim. But I support Israel's right to defend itself against Hamas & understand that some civilian casualties are inevitable when fighting Hamas. That seems perfectly reasonable to me.
Just saw some Free Palestine supporters on the road to my parents’ house and was about to wave at them but then I saw a couple of them holding signs making disgusting antisemitic jokes about Passover. Guys seriously how fucking difficult is it to just. Not do that 😭 You’re really not giving Palestine extra help by making horrible comments and jokes about Jews ffs can you not just promote support for Palestine without bringing hatred for entire minority demographics into it DURING THE TIME OF A RELIGIOUS HOLIDAY. It is remarkably easy to criticise Israel without antisemitism and if you can’t do that then maybe you should stay out of the movement because you’re causing much more harm than good
#antisemitism#i stand with israel#israel#australia#transgender#lgbt#leftist antisemitism#fuck hamas#fuck the monarchy#australian republic movement#universal healthcare#universal basic income#guaranteed minimum income#mental heath support#mental health#cluster b#cluster c#cluster a#ptsd mention

I get so frustrated by BTS members' diet culture talk/fatphobia and the inherent ableism that comes along with the way they talk about bodies and and eating and working out. I wonder sometimes if they haven't really been exposed to an alternative viewpoint on these issues and maybe aren't aware of the harm they do when they talk this way. Idk maybe that's naive in the world of internet, but I work in a fairly progressive social Justice oriented school and I feel like we don't do a good job of anti-bias around bodies and diet compared to how we approach other social justice topics. It makes me sad for BTS that they think this way about themselves and it makes me sad for BTS fans. Some of the kids I work with are Army, and some of these kids struggle so much with self image and eating and feeling good about themselves and I wish BTS would take the opportunity they have to speak against fatphobia and diet culture. It really does hurt kids (and adults too) un really tangible ways to see these negative messages from BTS. And even as someone who is at a good place with accepting my fat body, I can't help sometimes thinking about how BTS would judge me for the way my body looks. Sorry for that whole ramble, but I'm so glad you talk about this issue because I don't see enough people talking about how hurtful and harmful it is.
cw: disordered eating, fatphobia, ableism, diet culture
hi anon,
thank you for sharing your experience 🖤 what you’ve witnessed with the impact of bangtan’s words on young armys/kid’s self image & relationship with food is truly eye-opening. leaving more thoughts on this under the cut —
i appreciate you bringing ableism into this conversation. to feel consistently disappointed and exasperated by bangtan’s views/words - especially if you exist in a body that society deems as ‘unacceptable’ or if you struggle with body image/eating - can be so exhausting. i can only imagine how it must be seeing younger army both look up to bangtan and also experience challenges with their self image that is unintentionally validated by how bangtan speaks about health overall.
I really resonated with what you said about being at a good place with your fat body (same 🙏🏽) but also thinking that bangtan would judge you for how you look. I had a whole breakdown in December bc of that, like the healing I created for myself over a number of years got disrupted when I thought about how my bias would perceive me based on his own relationship with his body. Which is super unfair to him and to me, to all of us. this topic is a hard thing to draw attention to and each time i feel like I’m exaggerating or projecting my feelings by expecting better from the members. but in reading your message and being reminded of the harmful implications, it feels easier over time to name this dynamic occurring.
again, i hope fans can find a way to appeal to bangtan so that they can really take more responsibility for their words; im no one to tell bts what to do with their bodies or health i just hope there’s people looking out for them when they exhibit disordered eating patterns and struggles with body image.
thanks for trusting me with your experiences 🖤
#cw: disordered eating#cw: diet culture#cw: fatphobia#cw: ableism#cw: eating disorders#oof big same re: im social justice oriented institutions still faltering when it comes to ED ableism and anti-fat bias#my social work grad school is among one of the most progressive and i got minimal learning on that..#incorporating this framework as a therapist was something me and my cohort had to do outside of our courses 😪

welcome back to Western TV hi guys I'm unit and I'm back well it feels like it's winter already in Korea you know because of the seasonal changes it's already really really cold and I feel like my skin is becoming really dull and rough not to mention that my makeup will not go on smoothly and looks really flaky these you guys know that most of anti aging products come out at this season at fall that's kind of interesting huh well so that's why today I have prepared a video to talk about anti-aging tips for those of you in your 20s to 40s and I had a lot of questions about on eye creams also I wanted to remind you guys that I did a video before about eye creams eye cream for young skin anger tea so don't forget to check that out all righty then let's get started so there's three anti-aging skincare steps so the first one is the early anti aging steps early anti aging starts in the beginning of your 20s and that's why it's probably called early anti aging the key solution to early anti aging is moisturizing and protecting your skin from dry skin types to oily skin types that lacks moisture moisturizing moisturizing moisturizing is the key point so you should always keep your skin moisturized okay so I'm going to introduce some of the products that's good for early anti aging the first one I wanted to introduce you to is this one this cream is a night cream all you have to do is put it on and just go to sleep I like it because throughout the night it just really keeps my skin really moisturized and this one little thing will help you to balance your oil and moisture balance all right so the next one I wanted to show you is this cocoon mask I think as soon as I opened it up and used it from the sheets the quality is different and I don't know how to explain it but I will show you guys in a bit and you can actually pull the sheet and put it on the back and it will just stay that way so it's really great for the elasticity and it also covers the lip part so in the beginning I was like it was really hard for me breathe just through my nose then for some of you that you have a lot of clock codes it might be tough for you but it's perfect because they have live care also at the same time so that's the two reasons I really like this product it has a cocktail of multi silky proteins and spider silk - you know moisturize and protect your skin the second step is anti-aging care for people with visible pore enlargement or fine wrinkles and lack of elasticity so our skin starts aging a little before and after you turn 25 so if you are seeing wrinkles that means that probably it has progress and when we are in our 30s our body aging starts speeding up so that even if you started anti-aging care you know before you can see you know enlargement of pores you can see lack of elasticity and you can also see wrinkles so I think the key points here is that you do all anti-aging care or routines depending on your skin's condition all right so this is the first one I wanted to introduce you to it's a snail essence and it has 80 percent of snail extracts in it and when you look for a snail product it's very important that you double check you know the other how much amount of snail extracts or snails is actually in there and another thing is it has adenosine which is a excellent ingredient for wrinkle care so overall this essence will make your skin really healthier I wanted to introduce you to the next one and this is Chad your recovery cream and it will help your skin's condition to improve from any stress or stimulation that your skin might have had I know how frustrating that is because I have both on I have a lot of freckles and I also have pigmentation around to my nose area in my lip area because I use something wrong and it wouldn't go away and it just takes a lot of patience for pigmentation and freckles to go away so I want to recommend you to this cream if you wanna get rid of that but you still have to be patient because you can't see results you know right away and it has the ingredient eg F in it which has won a Nobel price so it must be good ring for its excellent effect for whitening and wrinkle care in Korea it's also called the EGF is also called you know a Botox that you can put on so it's that effective and that really you know good so the third one is anti-aging care for those of you who are already seeing signs of aging if you're here already then you need to do anti-aging care steps that will directly affect your skin cells keep Lippmann if your skin starts aging then the functions such as the protection of your skin barrier or scar recovery and at the sebum and other functions will slow down we need to choose products with functions that will improve our skin the first product is the snail bomb and I want to recommend it for those of you who feel like the skin around your eyes always kind of no very rough and dry it's a foam type that melts really easily and well into your skin and it will help you to moisturize and nourish you know the skin around your eyes next one is this one and I've introduced you to this mask before I really like it because it's the one that you know you can put it right behind your ear to give you that extra pull for elasticity or that lifting effect and this mask just focuses on wrinkle care and moisturize use your fourth finger to put on the essence make a V then pull up and pull down with the V from the front of your eyes to the temple drag and massage five times press lightly between your eyebrows and your eyes the front part to the back part press lightly make small circles massage your eyes and then from the inner part to the outer part drag and massage for the bottom part of your eyes from the inner part to the outer part drag and massage put essence on your laugh lines with your thumb press lightly on your cheekbone with your second finger press lightly on the side of your nose and then open your mouth and make an ah I basically put everything and anything that is left on my hands after putting it on my face I massage my neck with my fingers upward this way use your second and third finger to make a V with the V starting from the front of your eyebrows to the back drag and afterwards pull from the end of your eyebrows to your temple alright so that's it for today and I'm sorry about the clothes we had some trouble with the camera so that's why I'm finishing it up right now I hope that this video about anti aging really helped you guys because we had a lot of questions about when and how to start anti aging and that's why we decided to beat this video so please leave us comments and any questions that you guys might have and I will see you guys next time bye subscribe wishtrend TV or be square subscribe which trend TV or let's guys please subscribe please I'm doing this please subscribe

@amarthe It seems there must be a misunderstanding of what veganism actually is, which is very common.
Veganism is not a diet. Plant based is the diet
And no one in their right might expects everyone to be able to switch to 100% plant based products, seeing as everyone is in a different situation.
The original definition of Veganism is this:
Possible and practical applies to the individual, which also includes necessity, which again, anyone with a brain knows that necessity is defined by the individual.
Two people from the same religion or culture will see one aspect that uses animals differently. One will believe the animal usage is necessary for their connection to their culture/religion, another might feel the animal is symbolic and an alternative is okay. Both are right, and it only up to people in these communities to speak on these issues.
When it comes to Quinoa, this is not a vegan staple and for the 8 years I've been vegan, I have not seen one vegan who actually eats Quinoa.
That of which, im assuming you are referring to the article talking about the indigenous people affected by Quinoa consumption which has since been debunked. I believe @acti-veg has a tag that has the sources on that, im assuming its (#quinoa tho )
Veganism is a philosophy more or less. It is a goal, and that goal just comes down to doing the best we can do, and that looks different for everybody.
Everyone can go vegan. But not everyone can go plant based. Veganism isnt trying to take away your burgers, its trying to say "there are more sustainable ways to eat food", and study after study (that of which are reputable and not connected to the meat and dairy industry) have shown time and time again that there is no way to sustainable eat animals. At least at as large a scale
Not only that, but animal agriculture affects low income communities in various ways, that of which tend to be black and latino and indigenous. Whether its polluted air or water.
The overfishing problem. The deforestation. The health of people, and the slaughterhouse workers who tend to be black and latino, mostly undocumented.
I get you're mad because of what you think veganism is. But I hope you look more into it, and not just a Google search.
Also Veganism is very anti colonialist. Animal agriculture as it is, and the introduction of foreign animals way back, like cows, is colonialist.
Best thing to so is to try and buy from native ppl as much as you can (you can look in my #indigenous #indigenous artists ) tag, and otherwise just examine what you do
If it comes down to you saying "I cant change anything about what I do without negatively affecting my wellbeing either physically or mentally or emotionally" then if you're being honest with yourself, you can still call yourself a vegan. Or you don't have to associate with the title and community. But know that thats how it works
If you have any questions or frustrations or concerns please ask me or @acti-veg . Acti is a lot more informed and better with providing sources.
But yeah, just like in any movement or community, the individual people don't and shouldn't take away from the reason behind the movement/etc. So I'm sorry if you've come across people that gave you a negative view on this
frankly veganism is a colonialist crock of shit but I could care less what your diet is so as long as you aren’t fucking evangelical about it.
