What's your headcanons for Redemption kai

I think he had every elements for a compelling, complex redemption arch. Pre-merge he had so many elements that showed he was capable of not being selfish, like when he saved Bonnie from her suicide attempt.

Would he completely turn over a new leaf? No, I don't think he would completely change. He would still be the Kai we know and love, but less impulsive and self destroying. Maybe he would learn from his mistake of lashing out and snapping in 1994. He would continue to plot his revenge, probably kill or neutralise his father. But he would take his time.

To me his redemption isn't about forgiving the unforgivable things he has done, namely maiming and killing his siblings. It's about finally giving the underdog a chance at life. It's not about watering him down like he was in season 8.

I really love that he is not a perfect character. His inner struggle would be fascinating to follow.

My personal canon for the merge has always been that the winner consumes part of their twin energy, and it gets absorbed until it disappears completely. So he wouldn't share his consciousness with Luke forever. (How disturbing would that be.)

Not only would his personal story be wildly interesting, but it would introduce us to a whole new world!

His character also encapsulates so many other people and plots, some we know and some we don't know.

The Geminis Coven intrigues would be so good too.

I would love to follow his path as a Gemini Leader.

How unheard of a Siphon Leader is? We don't know, he might be the first one. How terrifying would he be to his coven? Siphons are supposed to be hateful abominations, monsters - how would the coven members react? How difficult would that make his leadership? I think he has a lot of the qualities required to be a coven leader, but it would be interesting to know if this thing he *always* wanted, was worth it in the end? Is it really what he's meant to be? I can imagine him leaving Portland for extended periods of time, to catch a breath. Maybe one of his siblings could second him at these times.

Would he manage to find coven members in his favor? Knowing how sketchy and dark the Geminis are, will he face plots and schemes to depose him?

And now that he is a siphon, a warlock and a coven leader, how powerful does that make him? We saw a glimpse of how powerful he became during the wedding massacre, when he became an heretic. I want to see more of this kind of unleashed, aweing power.

Will his siphoning ability develop now? Will he manage to discover more about his nature, and the history of it? Is it really that evil? I really would love to know more about that.

Last but not least, I cannot imagine Redemption!Kai not being tied to Bonnie in some way. We said it a millions times in the fandom Kai was *made* with Bonnie in mind! Their origins and their shared history are too intertwined, old and complex. Their dynamic, their chemistry, their magic, the things between them that were left unresolved, the tension, the hate and lust and resentement they feel...it's all too interesting to not be explored.

Plus knowing how Kai is orbiting around Bonnie he's probably found a way to stick around her or seek her out.

Knowing how powerful Kai is after the merge, Bonnie would probably reach for his help albeit reluctantly.

Bonnie would definitely continue to face the consequences of 1994, and everything she lived until now. I think we would see more of the change that takes place in her. I think that would result in learning to be selfish and to put herself first. Seeing the effect it would have on her magic would be so good too. That would be a new empowering dark arch for her, and that would be so fascinating and cathartic to follow.

My headcanon for them is: slow-burn & enemies to ambiguous allies to allies with benefits to lovers.

I'm not starting them just yet, there are some tests and fertility preservation things I've got to do first, but I now have Estrogen! I've been debating getting this for like 4-5 years, I may decide it's not for me after I start. I am still genderqueer/genderfluid and I still use any pronouns. I'm not taking T blockers yet either. We'll see how it goes! :)

打鐵花 (da2tie3hua1; struck iron fireworks) is a traditional folk firework that began in Henan and Shanxi, first arising in Queshan county, Henan and later circulating through the whole country. It had first appeared during the Northern Song dynasty, and was most popular during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

For Queshan struck iron fireworks, a two-layer pergola is built and covered with willow branches for performances, under which the molten iron is struck up with two willow sticks to create a rain of fire.

*Also, a note about one of the subtitles: I realized later that "going into battle without a shield" actually just meant going shirtless. I was only confused about this phrasing while translating because she didn't go shirtless, although that is for obvious reasons

Queshan struck iron fireworks had almost been lost before Yang Jianjun unearthed it again in 1988. It had almost died out in the early years of the Republic of China being established, after which there had only been three performances until 1988: 1952, 1956, 1962. Yang Jianjun had seen the 1956 performance as a 7-8 year old and later on as the director of a cultural centre, began digging up the skill and its history. In the process, he became an apprentice to Li Wanfa, who had been the last head of the Queshan Struck Iron Fireworks Society. He practised with sand and water, learning of its historical origin, its ancestral inheritors, craftsmanship and performance arts, but didn't touch the real thing until 1988. Through Yang Jianjun's efforts and investment, the first struck iron fireworks performance in more than 25 years took place in Nanshan Square (then a deserted area) in Queshan county.

Queshan struck iron fireworks are different from other struck iron fireworks in that it requires a wide area to perform, whereas others only needed a wall or could be hit straight up into the air, and it costs much more money to set up.

The names of inheritors are difficult to trace, and can only be traced back to the Qing dynasty during the Qianlong period, making Yang Jianjun a sixth-generation inheritor, and Jiang Xunqian (OP) the first woman and a seventh-generation inheritor.

You know I've been drawing Loop as their Siffrin form so much that it's got me thinking. I've read and seen so many fics and artworks of Loop eventually getting back to looking like their old self, but I don't think I've seen any so far of Loop already being a mirror copy of Siffrin. So uh, yoink?

ISAT AU where the game plays out the same way (plot-wise at least) but Loop looks like Siffrin the whole time and while Siffrin is extremely perplexed that there's another him, he's still gotta accept their help because how else are they supposed to escape the loops? Good ol' Loop is here to help, helpful friendly Loop!

Siffrin is going through it still but Differently.

As I'm sure you could guess by the name, this sheet is a compilation of (to my knowledge) all of Loop's dialogue in the game, sorted into tabs for easy access.

Currently, the sheet is divided into:

Generic dialogue - Dialogue for starting and ending a conversation with Loop, calling them, basic dialogue options

"What should I do next?" - Loop's advice regarding story progression.

"Let's talk about something..." - Optional conversations with Loop, relating to the "Behind the Scenes" achievement, also known simply as "loop chats"

"I had a question about..." - Loop's advice regarding sidequests

Predialogue - Automatic conversations with Loop preceding the regular dialogue options

Tutorials - Occasions in which Loop gives information to Siffrin in brackets.

Item interactions - Loop's reactions to using Souvenirs near them, as well as to using Your Dagger near them
