Up next is Mindwipe (kimiko Glenn). She is a member of the Monsterbots alongside Skullsmasher, blot and Weirdwolf with whom she gets into mischief. She got her bat mode from a prop made for a monster movie. She often tries to communicate with fallen transformers but only picks up TV signals and radio waves. She has the ability to detach her head and using the wings on it's sides to have it fly around like a cartoon bat. She may be a strange bot but her sonic scream attack is not to be messed with.

I've been watching Scooby-Doo movies with my friends lately, and there were some outfits that caught my eye with Fred and Daphne, and I thought, "I gotta draw Mario and Peach in those😏"

The fact that Fred and Daphne are Mario and Peach coded made me want to draw them in their outfits even more🤭🤭

As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to animate this:

Back in ye olde small phone days, I had this little pouch that clipped to my backpack strap and it was so great - my phone and transit card (and mini Maglite, chapstick, earphones etc) were right there! No having to dig them out of my pack! But all joy is fleeting and when I upgraded my phone, it didn't fit. No more convenient pouch.

Except fast forward to now, in possession of both loom and sewing machine, and it hit me that I could just...make one that did fit. So I did!

I wove the cloth on the rigid heddle out of 4ply merino/silk and the bands on the inkle loom out of 8/4 cotton, grabbed some quilting cotton for the lining, and sewed them all up into a little zippered pouch.

A band runs up the back with a clip that clips to the D-ring, and I sewed velcro to the side bands to wrap around the strap and secure it in place. It holds my phone and everything else, right where I need them, and I'm so chuffed!

Happy FFXV 8th Anniversary Art compilation (2/2)!! Once again inspired by this Lovely Post which enabled me I'm realizing as of this second post that I'm living back in like, 2022 when the post limit was 10 xD BUT YA KNOW WHAT i'm okay with that HAHAHAHA I'm so freaking proud of that first image? Its rare that I manage to actually draw all the available dynamics I want to, the fact that I managed it (despite as you can see, not finishing the shading HAHA) is wild and really cool to me. The forehead kiss was from a Comfortember I never finished! (or honestly got that far in HAHAHA i had two images) And in the middle, the Ignis and Gladio are from different years (2023 for Ignis and 2021 for Gladio) when I tried to draw on their birthdays, but Ran out of steam. Also i'm still so proud of that Prompto comic SLDKFJLKJASDFLSDFDS

waow 2024 is almost dead!!! gone too soon. feels like it’s been a big year for me art-wise for many reasons, BUT. i’m making 2025 bigger.... hopefully....i’ve made some art goals for next year which i won’t explain in detail but they boil down to 1) do more studies 2) tackle my weaknesses (backgrounds, dynamic poses/angles, uhhh lots of stuff i am a one trick pony right now) 3) get into drawing comics, all of which are in preparation for 4) take my story ideas more seriously and get started on one of the many graphic novels living in my head. i have one in mind i HAVE to complete in my lifetime or i will die, but firstly i’m gonna mess around with some little standalone svanhildr comics perhaps. goat fans rejoice. 

anyway i wasn’t meant to ramble so i’ll just say THANK YOU for the support as always!!! i’m very flattered all of these have more than 1000 notes.....crazy. thank you. muah
