"same time, uh, tomorrow?" ken said from behind you. you slipped into your blouse and turned to him, who was currently topless and fastening his belt, his hair pointed in all directions.

"tomorrow? we just fucked, ken." you laughed light-heartedly. "i'm a busy woman."

kenji looked at you while he sat at the edge of his bed, rubbing his shoulder. "n-next week?" he offered.

you sighed and smiled at him. finishing the top button of your blouse, you walked towards him and grabbed your purse from his nightstand. "i'll call you." you said, kissing his cheek as goodbye.

liar, kenji said to himself. it has been well over two weeks since your last interaction, and he has been anxious to meet you again, to feel you. to touch you, to have you on your kneesー god damn it.

sighing deeply, he ran his hands through his jet-black hair and slouched on his couch. he had his phone on his couch with his tabs revealing your, [name] [surname], japan's hottest supermodel, social media accounts. he had his television opened and has been playing various movies over the past hours, but he seemed to pay no mind to them with how often he was refreshing your accounts for the hope of any updates of your whereabouts.

shit, he even stooped to a new low, stalking multiple fan accounts of yours on twitter to see if they had any clue. the opened laptop in front of him was stuck to his direct messages with you, revealing how he replied a thumbs up to your message saying, "thank u for tn ;)".

he felt stupid. should he have been more open? maybe he should've responded differently. who even responds to a girl with a thumbs up? real mature, kenji.

he was anxious, bouncing his leg as he kept sighing over and over. why weren't you messaging him? he was the ken sato. did he kiss you too hard? did he fuck you too roughly?

leaning back into the couch, he ran his hand once more for the nth time this evening. he was overthinking. he couldn't have all these thoughts with the upcoming tournament that he's been looking forward to for the past two months. but lately, all he seemed to think about was how good it felt to be inside you.

sighing again, ken had his phone in his hands and went back to refreshing your account. to his absolute surprise, you had a new post on instagram, uploaded sixteen seconds ago. it was an image of you with a bra that fit you so perfectly, baggy jeans that rested on your hips, and underwear that seemed to grip on your waist with the brand's name on the garter.

the baseball player stared at his phone with a blank face before knitting his eyebrows together and groaning, adjusting his pants with the sudden uncomfortable feeling. this is bad.

"my scan tells me that your blood circulation has been increased at a certain area—"

"i did not need a scan, mina!" ken gritted, frustrated. "i'll be back late!" he shouted as a way to drown out whatever mina said next as he shut the front door on his way out. ken walked towards his motorcycle, fitting into his black helmet before quickly driving to a nearby bar.

upon arriving, kenji took off his helmet and gave it to the valet parker, with along with his keys and some cash. "take care of her, alright?" ken said, referring to the bike. the valet nodded. kenji held the sunglasses that he hung on the front of his shirt and put it on before walking towards the entrance.

seeing the long line behind the stanchion, kenji smirked and walked towards the bouncer who blocked him from coming inside with his arm. "name?"

ken raised an eyebrow and lowered his sunglasses. "sato." he said. the bouncer gaped and got his arm out of the way and opening the doors for him instead, apologizing for not recognizing him earlier.

ken was met with beaming lights within the darkness of the place, the air smelling of alcohol and the loud sound of the song that the dj played bouncing off the walls. ken took a deep breath in and sighed, and after a few steps in he was immediately accommodated by a blonde hostess, handing him a glass of champagne before latching on to his arm as she giggled and guided him to an empty table.

it was already past midnight and ken surprised himself by not drinking to his limits this time. there were women holding on to both of his arms, some handing him fruits while one held the bottle for his drink. he was also accompanied by strangers that seemed to need a breather. "hey, pretty, care to get me another glass?" kenji said to the brunette on his left with a sly smile.

the brunette giggled and pulled down her skirt before standing up "sure thing, ken." she smiled.

"there's no need for that, sweetie." he heard someone say from behind them. almost immediately, ken sato turned his head and his eyes widened at the sight of you. fuck. it was you. "hey, kenji. what brings you here?" you smiled and walked around the couch and made your way towards him. everyone at the table stood up and walked towards another unoccupied table, knowing the protocol.

"[n-name]?" ken stuttered, his hand running through the side of his hair as he fixed his posture. you giggled at him and took the brunette's former seat, taking the almost-empty tall glass of champagne that he held and sipped on it. "what, what're you doin' here?" he slurred, tipsy.

"oh, nothing. just here with some friends." you smiled and placed the glass to his lips, making sure that it was the same spot that you drank from. taking a deep breath, ken leaned into the glass and sipped, some slipping from the corners of his mouth. you placed the glass down to the table and wiped the trail of champagne on his chin. kenji only stared at you. flustered, you looked down at his hands and held it. "i missed you, kenji." you said.

kenji stared at you. he forgot how beautiful you were. how could he ever forget that?

kenji held your hand and interlocked your fingers. "yeah, well, you didn't seem to wanna let me know that little fact of yours over the last two weeks." he said, his cheeks reddening as he avoided eye contact.

you laughed at his shyness and held on to his hand tighter. "'m sorry, baby." you smiled and leaned in to his ear. "but, i can let you know just how much i missed you, baby." you whispered. "my place?"

it has been yet another two weeks since your last night together. kenji was one week into the tournament that he has been preparing for and he has been busy as ever. coach shimura has confiscated their cellphones to give the yomiuri giants their well-needed concentration on their trainings and game days.

after a weekend long of back-to-back games, coach shimura has finally given back the players their phones to reward them of their zero losses so far. upon unlocking it, kenji was met with multiple messages from you, telling him how much you miss him, telling him how good he looked in the field, letting him know of what you did while thinking of him . . .

he was flushed after reading everything, and in between messages he also received missed calls from you, and one voicemail.

"baby, can you call me back? it's so lonely in my mansion."

Your head rests on Charles’ shoulders, he scrolls through the comments of your family, friends, loved ones, and Charles’ colleagues. He laughs at the discussion about his future child’s name, his dimples showing perfectly.

“Have you imagined that?” The brown-haired man spoke out of nowhere, turning down to look you in the eyes.

“Imagine what, Charlie?” You reply, needing slight confirmation of what he is referring to.

"Children, a family... you know, the whole future after this happens" the green-eyed continued, pointing at the ring on your finger at the end, making you blush quickly.

“Of course, I have, mon chéri, you?”

"More than once, ange, I want everything with you" He answers sweetly. Charles was so in love with you since he asked you to be his girlfriend, he hadn’t imagined a future without you. He imagined you and him, traveling the world, a beautiful, healthy family, and him and you fulfilling your dreams together. You were all reasons he had to smile on the darkest days.

You, on her side, looked at your fiancé, curious and somewhat captivated by him. Charles’ look made you feel, so in love, you might burst. You felt confident with your decisions, and with your life.

About ten months ago, when Charles and you were at the Italian GP, Charles said he loved you, he said those two words, and you echoed him. You were completely sure you loved him. But when it came to "I'm in love with you" it was a long process, you didn’t play with those words.

I love you meant a promise only you could give, only you could get for him. It meant: I want you to be happy. But I'm in love with you meant that promise would be kept even if it wasn’t with you, it was giving your heart forever. It meant: I want you to be happy, even without me.

It may seem like a ridiculous concept to some people, they are words, but words are the source of expression the majority of humans possess.

They say that actions are worth a thousand words, however, it’s never suggested words are not valuable, or everlasting.

For you, they were everlasting, once you said them there was no going back. Two years later after the ‘i love you’ Charles said to be in love with you. But it was not your time, and Charles didn’t mind waiting for you to be ready.

And when you were ready, it was perfect.

You were at home in Monaco that day. During sunrise, you and Charles made love as if the world was ending; by morning you went hiking, and while being on top of the world, you realized. You realized you didn't care if you ended up heartbroken, you were ready to put the past and future aside and just live in the present.

“Charles,” You said that day, he looked at you so deeply, waiting. “I'm in love with you.”

He kissed you after that, just like he was kissing you now after you said the same thing, the difference being the place, and the fact that you had an engagement ring on your finger.

“Thanks for choosing me.” The Monegasque whisper. He kept kissing you, bringing you closer to him, showing you with actions how much he appreciated your existence.

EVER RED: THE THEORY (MASTERPOST)

AMNESIA THEORY, THE TIMELINES

Fragaria's story is confirmed to be separated into two: The MVs and the voice dramas. This could imply two separate timelines. The 1st timeline is “ruined”, and the 2nd timeline (possibly the one for the MVs) acts as the present. In the Ever Red MV, there are lyrics highlighted in red, most of them pointing to them forgetting something.

This theory is unrelated from Ever Red, but the main point of the amnesia theory is that the knights don't remember their "original" selves, their current names and forms being a show of their connections to their lords (hence why Hangyon's name is only 2 letters off from Hangyodon for example).

These lyrics also point to something being forgotten (strawberry/fruit representing memories. Sweet and sour memories, a memory that ripens/develos as it is repressed)

But forgetting their old identities also means forgetting past events.

RIBBONS

The ribbons represent the pains of the past. In this part, Hallritt sings "Once the ribbon is tied, the knot marks are still there." Once pain is inflicted, the wounds and memories are still there.

The ribbon now ties everyone close to each other. The Red Bouquet will be there for Hallritt to help process his past, and make things right again (see next header).

Hallritt is now being covered by the ribbon, except for his eyes. He must face the truth of what he did.

HIDDEN AUDIO, "ELDRITCH HALLRITT"

Refer to this post to listen to the hidden audio.  "Move. That dream… It was my fault." It was Hallritt's fault for the destruction of the 1st timeline. Around 3 minutes into the MV, there is a quick frame of this shadow version of Hallritt which me and the discord have named Eldritch Hallritt/Eldritt.

He was the "original" Hallritt from the 1st timeline, and a manifestation of the current Hallritt’s true feelings and repressed memories. He knows everything. He was the one who destroyed the 1st timeline, and is here to make sure the Hallritt of the current timeline doesn’t mess up.

But what was Hallritt's mistake in the first place?

SEEDS

SEEDS are the antagonists of Fragaria's story. They could be the original knights, as seeds come first before flowers/bouquets. One day, they took things too far, leading them to be banished and replaced by the Fragarians.

They might have once tricked Eldritt/The "original Hallritt" into joining them, which led to him ruining his contract with Hello Kitty, destroying the 1st timeline. Eldritt then reset the timeline into the current one, and is watching over the current Hallritt to not make the same mistake he did.

BONUS/MINI THEORIES

My friend Angel pointed out that "Fragaria Memories" sounds similar to "Fragmented Memories"

System Hallritt - Eldritt is an alter for Hallritt (+ is a protector or a gatekeeper) who wanted to prevent him from finding out the truth, but they can't run from it forever.

Bouquet leader doomed yaoi (I don't have a better name for this) - If Cielomort and Badobarm find out about Hallritt's secret, they could get angry and not trust him anymore. If this happens, the conflict could grow, repeating what happened in the 1st timeline that led to its destruction.

Hangyon and Chaco know - These two are suspicious. For Chaco, his title is "The detour dog with a hidden motive." The hidden motive could maybe have something to do with SEEDs. For Hangyon, if he knows what happened in the 1st timeline, that could be why he's close with Badobarm specifically. He watches him for any signs of the past repeating itself.

What kind of gift was worth losing your life over? 

Liza's package on your desk stared back at you throughout the working week. You left it there as a problem for someone else to deal with and not you, because your biggest fear would be opening the package and coming to find out that Liza's car swirled off the road in the middle of a storm in the pursuit for something worthless like shoes. Or that scarf you once told her that you fancied.

"Hey, you okay?" Laleh poked her head into your office before calling it a day herself. She caught you staring into the ether yet again, with your eyebrows furrowed in a matter of concentration.

"Huh?"

"You're doing that thing again with your face. Is everything alright?"

"Oh, I...." You shook out of your trans, heat flushing your cheeks. "I'm all good."

"Are you?" She stepped into your office. "Like I said, if you need someone to open up the package Liza's husband sent you, I'll happily volunteer."

You smiled, perhaps the first time that day. "I appreciate it L, but I'll bring myself to open it sooner or later. Besides, it wasn't Liza's husband who sent it to me..." You recalled that he wanted nothing to do with it. "It was actually the post office, sending the package to the closest relative of the original recipient."

"I see."

"Yeah." 

"Have you been getting a lot of those?"

"What?" 

Laleh shrugged her shoulders. "I dunno, memos and emails from Liza's former payouts?"

"No, not really. My parents were the ones to close her bank accounts and likewise. I suspect Liza's husband was the one getting notifications for her former subscriptions. It must have been really hard for him dealing with that."

"How is he holding up....in rehab?"

"Good." You nodded, but left out the fact that you often called him to give an update on the kids' life. Although he didn't say much during your brief talks, you knew that deep down those calls meant everything to him, a light in the dark tunnel that his soul had been shoved into following the death of his wife, your sister.

"Tell you what." Laleh shirped, having enough of the sad stuff just as she was clocking out from work. "How about I pull some strings and get us two seats for a pedicure this afternoon?"

"Can't make it. Football tryouts."

"Who's football tryouts?" 

"Emmy." You beamed. "I'm picking her and Vale up after school and taking them straight to Man City's training grounds."

"No way, is Ruben going to be there as well?"

"I hope so, but I'm not sure about his training schedule."

"Y/N, that's amazing, I'm so happy for Em."

"Yeah, so am I. Hopefully, she's not as nervous as I am."

"Nervous? What for? Wasn't Liza a football talent when she was young?"

You nodded, the memories of attending your sister's weekly fixtures flooding your heart. "Ruben says Emmy has got a good chance of making the team. All she's gotta do is show for it."

"Well then, I'll be rooting for her from the comfort of my salon chair. Don't forget to text me right after the tryouts."

"I will. I promise."

"Alright then, I'll see you."

"See you tomorrow."

You left work in a hurry to pick up the kids. However, on your way to pick up Vale you were approached by one of his primary teachers, Mrs Jones, who expressed her heartfelt concerns about Vale's "condition" as she carefully referred to it as.

"I assure you, Mrs Jones, Vale has not gone mute. All he needs is time, and he'll be back to speaking just like the other children."

Mrs Jones did not seem the slightest convinced and held you back an additional few minutes to inform you about an after-school program at the community center for children with traumatic upbringings.

"My ass." You mumbled and balled up the flier you had been given. Tossing it over your shoulder in the parking lot.

"Auntie Y/N, are we going to be late?" Emmy asked as you rushed her and Vale out of school towards your car. "Possibly. Most likely." You replied. Honesty was really important to you. You would never lie to your niece and nephew. Not when solemnly relied on you for guidance in life.

"I don't want us to be late." Emmy pouted. 

You popped your head through the passenger door, fumbling for Vale's seat belt and then Emmy's. "We won't be, I promise." You leaned forward, pressing a swift kiss to her cheek. "Now, did you remember to put on your lucky shirt?"

"Yes." She mumbled.

"Good." You smiled. "I'm sure it'll bring you luck today during tryouts."

"You think so?"

"I know so, baby." You gave her cheek one last squeeze before shutting the door to the backseat of your car. 

You had your way of hiding it, but just like Emmy, you were quite nervous about the afternoon. Nevertheless, you had to go through with it. For Liza. She would've been so proud to have Emmy follow her footsteps, despite it being for the Manchester City Academy.

what to know before you request

please check if i've drawn a bird before you request it! if you don't want to scroll through everything, all my birds are tagged by order. don't know the order of your bird? look it up! the IOC world bird list has a great resource for this.

i tag them by name, but some birds have multiple common names.

i also have a spreadsheet of every bird i've done so far! but i can definitely see myself forgetting to update this, so it's best to double check.

any avian dinosaur archaeopteryx-and-beyond can be requested! many ornithologists consider avialae to be the cutoff for "modern" birds.

i can't guarantee full-accuracy of prehistoric birds as i'm not very well-versed in paleontology.

please keep asks to only one bird! feel free to send multiple asks though. if you include multiple birds in an ask i'll just pick one. when i answer the ask to post it, the other birds will be gone forever...

i will prioritize requests in the order i received them in, but a couple times a week i might draw a personal pick instead.

if you don't specify anything, i'm going to assume the basic mature male with breeding plumage that you come to expect from a bird.

breeding and non-breeding plumage can also be called summer and winter plumage. some birds also have special names for their plumage forms. just to keep things consistent i'll be referring to it as breeding and non-breeding!

Annabelle is a private detective with some particularly questionable clientele--namely the Solanum family. When the family head is murdered, it was a natural conclusion for his son and successor to ask her to help solve the case. Annabelle might have thought the case was a good bit of fun, if only the primary suspects weren't leading somewhere a little too personal.

There isn't too much here at the moment, since I haven't spent much time on the one recently, but I have a cover and a few full pages posted!

With Kausos burned to the ground and the cult having found them once again, the list of reasons to stay was quickly dwindling. When the opportunity to board the Adrestia and never look back presents itself, Alexios, with Kassandra and Phoibe in tow, takes the chance.

Chapter 3

a/n: Hello welcome to chapter 3! Sorry it's so late.

We're going to be having a slight Warriors, Wind and Mask, which is how I'll be referring to young Time, reunion so that's something to look forward to. So I hope you enjoy this chapter!^^

Watching Warrior's run over to Time and Wind Four could only sigh and hope for the best in this situation.

"Do you think they'll be alright?" Twilight asked worry clearly heard in his tone. Four felt like an idiot 'Twilight is Time's direct descendent, of course he'd be worried about his predecessor suddenly turning into a kid.'

"They will be, and even if they aren't we can offer them our best support and help where we're able to. Those three aren't alone in this." Sky responded.

Twilight just lightly nodded his head. Though while his shoulders were still tense there was now a slight smile on his face. Agreeing with Sky the three moved towards the rest of the chain hoping that Warriors and Wind had managed to explain the situation to Time.

Warriors ran, he ran to two of his closest brothers, the two who fought a war with him.

Wind just smiled brightly in response to Warrior's yell, welcoming him back.

"Tune, Masks !" He shouted when he saw them,not noticing the stares his fellow heroes were giving him.

"Captain ?" Masks voice said softly.

"Captain, what's going on ? Where are we ?" He continued.

Asking him to lean back and stay calm Warriors with Wind's help explained the current quest all the heroes across Time. As their explanations went on Mask's expression became more somber, a frown growing on his face.

"When are we then ?" He asked once the explanation was done.

"That we're not sure of. We think it's somewhere between Hyrule and Legend's." Tune responded.

"Hyrule, Legend ?" He asked not knowing who these names were referring to.

"Ah right Legend and Hyrule are from one of the split timelines. Their two heroes who came after you. Legend first then Hyrule."

At Mask's look of horror Warriors exchanged a glance with Wind.

"Well that can be dealt with later one of the others will be able to better explain the timeline situation to you. For now let's go get dinner and introduce you to our fellow heroes."

Still struck with horror at the thought of more heroes Masks wordlessly agreed and headed to the rest with Tune and the Captain on his side he felt unprepared to face the other heroes across time, the only silver lining he could see in this situation was possibly meeting the hero of men.

While that was going on the other links sat back going back to the campfire to start on dinner and cleaning up the mess as they gave the three time to talk and for Wind and Warrior's to help explain this current quest they were all on.

By the time the three were just about to reach the campfire all the heroes had returned and were sitting around the campfire as they waited for Wild to finish making dinner. Watching the trio approach the group got ready for introductions with only the hope that this time things will go better than the previous interaction.

a/n: And it's done! One thing to note young Time will most likely be referred to as Mask and Wind will most likely get referred to as Tune by him. The next chapter should have the introduction and the long awaited meeting so something to expect. ^^

Once again I'm so sorry this chapter was updated so late life just got really hectic and made it really difficult to find time to write. I will be posting some extra stuff to help explain some things about my au as well to make up for this soon.

So before I move on I wanna mention these red strings. Having gone back through the comic they seem to appear when something to do with the Curse shows up. Either Loft is talking about/feeling guilty about.

Or one of the heroes appears.

Do we know if Loft can see these strings or are they just for us? Cause if he can see them himself then this must be so damn stressful for him. It's not a, oh this guy came to help, it oh this guy is this time's hero.

I could build a separate post about the red strings as I've got a list of when they all appear and might do that rather than hide it in here.

Let me know if you'd be interested in reading that, if I get enough interest I'll build a post about the strings.

And instead of beating around the bush he just straight up asks which I can appreciate. Loft looks so nervous in this panel too. We know that Loft has seen the master sword sink under the waves so I can only assume that he's getting nervous about that.

Maybe he thinks Wake sunk the master sword himself? Rather than stabbing it into Ganon's head.

MOON TIME

Most of where they've landed is completely obscured by dust storms, and there's a makeshift encampment built around where the bridge lands. There's plantlife, too -- mostly scrub brush and ivy -- but as they land they're immediately in initiative as they try to hide from anyone who might be in this encampment or coming across the bridge behind them.

There are MOON WOLVES???

There's a bell in the encampment and they ring it to summon moon wolves.

With a darkness spell for cover, FCG uses the staff they got to make a passwall through a cliff.

god the fact that Laudna is the only one who can see through the darkness spell and is actively giving directions to a blind Ashton to get them to the exit, just like Morri's trial--

The gravity on Ruidus is about the same as on Exandria -- it differs slightly, but not enough to impact their movement or anything.

Also, it's a great little detail that there are also reilorans on this side of the bridge that are scared shitless of this conflict just like some of the Vanguard members were on the Exandria side.

Nope, they're not moon wolves, they're moon lizard-panthers with a jaw like that one fucked up drawing of Yoshi, and the reilorans are riding them.

Once again, FCG's abysmal spell save DC is a genuine problem. Like, I get that Sam's bit is that he doesn't know how to build a cleric, but having a spell save of 15 at level 11 is...... riding a line, for sure.

FCG update: "It's not luck, it's faith, so it's okay." Their Changebringer coin gives them a luck point (presumably once per day). They reroll a nat1 stealth check to save the fucking day as the Bells Hells flee into the encampment and hide amongst the Ruby Vanguard members. Interestingly, Sam is playing it like FCG didn't actively use the coin, rather that FCG believes it just spontaneously happened at the will of the Changebringer, which is actually really fucking cool.

Distractions save the day, and they successfully cast gaseous form to escape. As they do, they get some info about Ruidus' atmosphere: though there aren't active storms at the moment, there is a constant wind.

MID-SESSION LEVEL-UP! I'll have a separate post for this :)

With a nat20, Chetney is able to guide them as they traverse across the surface of Ruidus as gaseous clouds. He uses Exandria to determine the direction they're traveling, which means that Ruidus is not only tidally locked to Exandria, but that it is also orbiting at the same speed Exandria is rotating -- it's literally tethered by a rigid line.

They're trying to make for the city that they saw in Ira's scatterscope, but it's a long way off, and they need to rest.

Rather than being the occasional storm or hurricane on a clear surface, Ruidus' atmosphere looks more like an occasional clearing, an occasional eye of the storm, in a sea of hurricanes and dust. (a Hamilton reference? in MY 2024??)

As they fly, they see 13 beasts gliding through the storm: they're buffalo-like, with six legs and high haunches, bolting across the surface of Ruidus and leaving cracked earth in their wake. They have furry hides that curl around over a dozen horns that wreath their face, running at a full sprint toward a dust storm. (Travis provides us with some top-tier Texan insight: buffalo and bison will charge toward a dust storm to get through it faster.) The creatures are bovine, vegetarians (square, flat teeth), and prey animals. There are a handful of younger ones, but full-grown, they're about 10 feet long.

They leave the buffalo alone, though, and find shelter in a nearby mountain range to take a short rest. They find that it's cold here; the storm cause the temperature to drop.

In the cave they're resting in, they find the remnants of an old camp. Chetney uses grim psychometry on it, and finds that it was used by a traveler sheltering from a storm; the traveler's mount bolts, and is swallowed by something in the wastes. They still, hold their breath, but the ground beneath them quates -- they try to find somewhere to escape, upward, to the surface, but there is no escape, and the shadows take the traveler, too.

There's definitely no connection whatsoever between the thing in the crust of Ruidus and the fissures that open throughout the Hellcatch Valley. Nope, none at all

As Imogen rests, she notices that there's an ever-present reddish energy that sits around her and the entire landscape. It's like she can see the magnetic field of a planet, but it's centered on her and Fearne -- centered on the Ruidis-born. It's like that energy never went away, was never expended -- there's an ethereal tether between Imogen and Fearne.

Also, this might be nothing, but Matt refers to Ruidus as a "planet" multiple times here.

It's like all the Ruidis-born are part of a living network -- and Fearne and Imogen both gain an additional character feat: they can "share magic." Imogen can expend her sorcery points to give Fearne spell slots, and Fearne can expend spell slots to give Imogen sorcery points.

This basically confirms that everyone else in the Bells Hells is not Ruidus-born; but it does raise questions about whether Fearne and Imogen can sap spell slots/sorcery points from people like Otohan or Liliana, and vice versa.

Chetney will keep his eyes peeled for "anything Seelie in nature." Again, this definitely has no implications regarding his shadow-touched feat whatsoever.

As they rest, Imogen reaches out to Predathos. It doesn't take long for the feeling to take her, the feeling of dropping out of her own consciousness -- "you feel that overwhelming presence, that vibrates like the most ancient snore. You feel that connection, that welcoming earnest draw, like you've never belonged to anything more in your life, and you feel that tug down. Down. Down. And then you feel it shift as it notices you. You hear in your mind, in your soul, in every atom of your body, you feel it -- welcome home. Join us. Wake us. They're not even words, they're just emotions that your brain can try to comprehend -- the way that it swallows you, shapes you, the steel will you tried to build just breaks you, and you let it all in. When you do, you are pulled deeper into the darkness, and you can see hundreds of little red lights here -- so many of them. One that looks like Fearne, one that looks like your mother -- and they're all moving down. And you feel all of you -- connected and networked, and they're all looking toward you. You hear them once more. Wake us. Do you resist? [Yes.] The series of red threads, bridges between all of these Ruidus-born -- they gather, and are still gathering, for what purpose you don't understand but now you do -- to wake them, wake it -- they get stronger, and you pull back, and in the memory of being a child being lost in these dreams, you scream, and the darkness shatters." Imogen's eyes, her spiderweb scars, glow red like an ember, and Laudna cradles her.

Whatever is sleeping inside Ruidus, it isn't awake yet. There is still time. But Imogen doesn't know if she can fight it again -- and she denies that she herself is the "Chosen One." It's everyone, every single Ruidus-born -- including her, including her mother, including Fearne.

Orym thinks that Imogen is their way in, their way through. He is pressuring Imogen, not to give in to it, but to feign complacency. But Chetney has a different idea, and Laudna agrees: that Imogen might be the key, not to Predathos' salvation but to its undoing.

This entire conversation has the air of someone trying to figure out the end-game while they're 1/3rds through the book.

They remember the Emperium, which very much sounds like a faction of Reilorans who want to preserve Ruidus as it is without the influence of either Predathos or Exandria.

During that vision, Imogen saw that there were maybe two dozen exaltants, the "true, final evolution of what the Ruidus-born was intended to eventually be" -- and dozens of others, like Fearne, who supported that network.

Otohan and Liliana are both exaltant, but we know for a fact that Ludinus Da'leth is not Ruidus-born. We got hat ages ago, when we learned that he was jealous of Ruidus-born -- unless that jealousy was feigned, in which case we need to completely reevaluate Ludinus' intelligence.

To be 100% honest, I'm still pretty sure that Ludinus is a warlock with maxed charisma, not a wizard with maxed intelligence.

Orym recognizes that with Imogen, the things that makes her the Bells Hells greatest risk is also what makes her their greatest asset. They decide to stay on Ruidus to gain more information -- and they learn that the Emperium is the faction of the Reilorans who are aligned with the Ruby Vanguard, so there's another faction of Reilorans who are not a part of that faction, who would be on the Bells Hell's side.

Another storm approaches, so Laudna stuffs Pate into the bag of holding and they all set off toward the city they saw before.

But for the record, they do take the Reiloran juggernaut they took (turned into a possum, put into the bag of holding, and then released and killed) and tear it into pieces.

Ashton, in a very Caduceus moment, also takes the seed from the All Mind's Burn and considers placing it here. Imogen and Ashton concede that they should take the seed and plant it closer to the core of Ruidus; they put it away, and loot the Reiloran instead.

Now that the reiloran is gone -- though FCG specifies that they keep the "limbs and head" -- Pate goes in the bag of holding. They all revert to gaseous forms, and they continue for hours until night begins to set. They find another mountain range in which to rest, but they notice that all the mountain ranges here seem to resemble the spines of ancient creatures. They see herds of beasts, then the flickering lights of a village -- a ranch, with abodes and ranches built into the side of this mountain. It's a unique parallel to Imogen's upbringing, to see similar arrangements of livestock and tenders below them on the fucking moon.

They fly closer, and gather that this is a tiny town -- no more than a thousand people. Everything here is simple -- smoothed rock or dried hutch, a popcorn vibe between the houses and livestock pens. Around 20% of the population is reilorian; the majority of the rest are a shorter, squatter folk, swathed in heavy robes, that the Bells Hells have never seen before, almost like statues moving though air.

There is no Vanguard armor here, but more Emperium -- and they're the minority. They're acting like a religious militant presence, similarly to what Team Issylra encountered in Othanzia.

Still, they come to a town, and attempt to fit in. It's almost like whoever's looking at it substitutes their own familiar with what they're seeing as unfamiliar.

As they decide to search for an inn, it gets darker; the interior of the abodes they're near take on a bluish tint. There is no air of violence here, but people are on watch; from what Chetney can see, there are no open mines or quarries here, but there are clusters of villages without farmland --the only cultivated plantlife he can see is this reddish flora, from which the bison eat, grows.

It's a storage room, just shelves of supplies, training weapons, harnesses. but they all reconvene in the shed as a reiloran sheds light on the chamber where all of them are -- "no, no, wait--" Imogen's persuasion check succeeds. "Oh! Woah. Who are you?" They speak in common, and that's where we end.

im curious, is there any way to rip the "cutscene" assets from dd2? (by "cutscene" i mean the art that gets shown before and after every chapter)

Hi there! I do remember seeing the Denial intro and outro pngs in my first batch of exported assets, unfortunately I deleted that first export-- I thought I should replace it with a more complete export, but thanks to some errors in the software, many many things didn't get exported, such as the pngs for the chapters intros and outros.

However, your ask made me look for an alternative for AS (AssetStudioGUI), because I knew it was possible to rip those pngs, I’ve done it before Unity updated and broke AS. AS hasn’t been updated in over two years BUT I just found out today there are many forks on the GitHub page, and one of them updated the code so now it works with the most recent version of Unity (the software DD2 was made and runs on)!

If you’re interested, this is the fork I used, it worked without a hitch, just like how AS originally used to! Super excited about this cause it means I’ll be able to rip assets from other unity based games once again! Commissions!

Hey all! I've decided it's about time I open up writing commissions, so here's a little post detailing how it's going to work!

First off, sending me a message is going to be by far the easiest way to contact me about comissions, NOT asks. I'll want to talk you you a little about the idea before we go any further (see rules 2 and 3 below), so start there and we can figure out what's going on. Secondly, as I've already mentioned, please check out the rules below. Details on pricing is at the bottom (rule 4) so keep that in mind when getting in contact.

How many commissions I take on at once will depend largely on the level of interest and my own writing mood, but I'll try to keep an update either on this post, on my pinned one, or in my bio as to if I'm open to them at the moment or not.

Anyway, without further ado here's the rules for commissioning me. Make sure you read them!

Rules:

1. reserve the right to say no to commissions.

Regardless of the reason, I may not give one, if I say no it's a no. Maybe I don't like the idea, maybe I'm busy with life or other commissions, maybe I'm just not in the mood to write at the moment or am working on new stories. Don't constantly hound me asking if I've changed my mind, I will just block you without hesitation. (Use common sense here, if you want to politely ask again if my time/mood was the issue I'm not going to bite your head off.)

Also, please keep in mind I have a life outside of this. If you message me asking about a commission and I don't respond straight away I'm probably just busy or asleep. I will reply to everyone that enquires though, it just might take me a second.

2. Be creative, but realistic.

Requests that just say "Turn me into a jock!" will likely get a no. Make it a little more interesting, come up with a plot or throw some more tf's in there. Not that there's anything wrong with a good jock tf, but there's only so many I can write.

Be realistic about the length too. I can't fit a hugely detailed tf AND a plot in 1000 words, it just won't happen. I'll leave some examples of rough length linked below so you have a rough idea.

Heavy female focus (gender tf is fine in either way, but I'm primarily a MALE tf author)

Don't ask, I won't write them.

As mentioned, I don't generally do celebrity tf's. "Turn me into Chris Evans!" style stuff. As much as there are a lot of very attractive celebrities, it's just never really interested me to become them specifically; original characters are usually more my thing. There is of course some flexibility with this, so if you're not sure you can always ask. If the idea is good enough (and the guy hot enough) maybe I'll make an exception, the worst I can say is no after all.

4. Payment & Delivery.

I charge £0.04 per word, which is equivalent to £40 per 1000 words, or £20 for 500 words. Payment is via PayPal, in full, up front. I won't start writing until I've been paid.

In terms of delivery, I write in Google docs, so will send you both a viewable link to that document and a pdf of the final thing provided you give me an email to send the pdf to. Otherwise you can save a pdf of the story yourself from there.

5. Images & Posting.

Final word on images included in these. You're welcome to bring your own you'd like me to write around. If not, I'm happy to attempt to find one's I deem appropriate for the particular story if you'd like me to, but I make no promises. I'll also include a word on posting these commissions here. +. Welcome aboard this blog! which is dedicated to my project of a fan spin-off series of the Parappa The Rapper franchise, Funky Fury Malissa. Featuring a new protagonist with "Malissa Rappa" ,original characters, teachers, rivals and more..

+. I made this blog to share my process on working in the project and receive questions about the characters on the way! I won't make this series into a game though. not only because Sony are becoming the next Nintendo with Fan-games but, also going such thing will require experience and budget. which I got NEITHER. but, I can draw and write, which is what I shall use to tell the story of the series! in a visual novel type of style, dialogue of characters, actions and of course, LYRICS of the songs.

+.As stated before, this series is STILL a WIP, which means I've yet to finish/Finalize the designs of characters and elements of the story (mostly the teachers) so, I'll always pinpoint the stuff that are unfinished/finalized with a note with brackets. Also this Post will be updated manually, adding more references and information about the series.

Malissa Rappa, a funky gal from Origami city is trying to win the heart of her beloved crush, Berzack Bandicoot, however there are MANY obstacles in her way! starting from her rival in love, "Fuzzle Cuddle" to a Group of thugs fro hell.. to.. a giant polygon face that's trying to take over the City?! boy, those are lots of obstacles. but, not something that will keep this funky dog from moving forward, Keeping her head on and facing all the challenges with her funky gorgeous singing and HER fury metal rings! will she grant her dream? only one way to find out.

Fuzzle Cuddle is Italian poodle working as a secretary to the owner of the biggest Jewelry company in Origami City, she retails a very bubbly and narcissistic air-headed personality, she's also into the electric piano player, Berzack, whom she always tries to impress, whether by playing a heroic act in the sweet beard burger, or flashing showcasing her super limo 9000.. atleast, that's what she does in the day time.

In night, she goes by her alter ego name "Diamond Candle", a skilled thief that's always targeting the riches and robbing them from their precious and delicate jewelry for fun. accompanies by her partners in crime, Gaster and Groover, (they also have code names but I've yet to come up with them lol) who also have a foot in the world of thievery.

+.The Teachers/rivals (20% finished, No references, still conceptualizing most of them, some names are placeholder. all what you gotta know is that some of them will be like parallels to parappa's teacher with tweaks. )

King E Roo: A kangaroo that owns a private boxing Club

Krash Pitch: Karma's mother and a racer car instructor

Nicky Picky: a white-square headed cat who works as a barista in "sweet beard burger"

Narissa RaParra: Malissa's Monochrome copy and the leader of the retired band, "BornEye".

Grand Polygon: some giant Floaty face thing built of of instruments. it has the ability to hypnotize people.

(note: this character's importance will be FULLY explored in "funky fury malissa 2" o, I won't spoil anything about his story. though, I thought mentioning him because he's kinda like a BG character now.)

Miguel Nosso: the current heir of the MOST successful restaurants in ALL of Origami city, "sweet beard burger". He's the manager of the resturant and mostly found in the kitchen, baking cakes for costumers while his workers serve the desserts.

the branch was originally initiated by "beard burger" in order to expand his brand across the globe, taking Europe as the first stock to market it. the Resturant was Run by one of Miguel's other uncle "Sweet Nosou", and it did QUITE awful on it's first few decades of launch. Sweet Nosou negotiated with beard burger to change the Resturant's direction from burgers to dessert as an experiment. a decision that fruited with good results, thus "Beard Burger EU" was changed to "SWEET BEARD BURGER".

Is this a main blog? This is a side blog, my main is @amelias-hart.

Can I draw fanart of your characters? Yes, absolutely, you are more than welcome to draw art based on the descriptions in my fics and the resources I put out for them.

What kinds of LoZ fics to you write? All of my fics are fully original legend and long form stories. My average chapter length is 3k and the shortest of my fics (not in a series) is currently drafting to be like 100 chapters.

How adult/mature are they? It ranges, but typically it's pretty tame. I don't really handle gore and explicit scenes, and I'm not a fan of dark fantasy generally as a writer. If fics are rated adult/mature, it's typically because the main characters are largely adults.

Is there romance? We're on that Zelink train, absolutely! There are no explicit scenes, again, so the range here is fluff (GoS, RA) to some more mature flirting with some innuendo being about the most serious content (DAD). Maybe a more intense kissing scene once the slow burn gets through to that or a fade to black (MoaH).

How do you write so much? Autism, baby. Got that clinical hyperfocus going.

Do I need to read your fics in a certain order? No, all of them are stand alone but they do share a linked timeline in the following: GoS -> MoaH -> RA -> CoL -> DAD (And honestly it's really just GoS and MoaH with any "serious" timeline lore connections)

What's the Convergence? To the previous point, it's referring to GoS any time it comes up. Really only a thing in MoaH and MoaH does try to explain it within the text.

This is just an update post on a little (it's so not little) comic I'm working on rn.

OKAY, for starters this is a kinda scrapped first ver of the first few pages. It's scrapped because it was just a test/thumbnailing for how I want the first pages to be, but I salvaged some things in it.

It's chaotic but it wasn't meant to be the serious storyboard, especially since there's very little references for inside the keep so I'm going to cut those early scenes so it just cuts to when she arrives at the door. The chess opening is cut as well, EXCEPT, I'm planning on doing chapter covers and I want to keep the two pawns on the chessboard as the chapter cover for the first chapter.

This is also chaotic but these are just the closest designs I've been happy with for the Tarnished, these are not the first times I've designed her, actually her design has changed SO much, originally she's just a character in my own story but I use her for a lot of fan stuff, like BG3 and etc, so I just used her for the elden ring fic too lol.

This was an old ver of her planned design, don't look at her ass, ignore it.

Anyway, I didn't like it. There was also another design...That I shall not name nor show (Its ugly asf, I called the file burn with fire)

There was also this design, which wasn't bad but wasn't what I was looking for. Tbh her design still needs work but I'm happy with how it looks now, it just needs a few more tweaks.

This is actually what she looked like in the early sketches of her more finished design, I fixed her proportions and switched the armor, at this point I was trying to find an art style more suited for a comic and also her herself. I'm very stuck between either anime/cartoony and realism and I want the comic to be semi-realism, and my biggest issue is I always make the eyes too big lol.

Like this was the closest I've gotten to the design I want for the comic but it's too realistic and detailed so I need to simplify it alot.

Now, I want to make it clear, I want this comic to really be/look good, I've made comics in the past now and again but they're never too crazy, but if I can get chapter one done, I'll be happy, but yknow as it stands it's still in like pre-production where I'm trying to plan things out, so probably not this year 〒▽〒

Though I'd really like to get the comic before Act 3 since that act is gonna have a lot of payoffs, and I don't want the fic to spoil something really good that the comic hasn't got to yet, and the comic has a lot to catch up to, but I'm also planning on cutting things or condensing them down since act 1 kinda meanders in the ruins of Rauh and I could so cut a lot of that down.

I've been very reluctant to describe the Tarnished bc even though I have a backstory for her and a character arc planned, she's s nameless Tarnished and I always feel like people would rather her be a blank slate, undescribed, especially in the fic, but in the comic that's unavoidable so therefore not an issue, but if anyone is genuinely interested in what she looks like, the concept art is basically that, tho it's not exactly finished or complete, I'll update again once I've done it tho!
