the adler lineage has owned and managed several car dealerships over the last five decades, earning them a solid reputation in their community. the idea is that the dealerships will be equally distributed to danny and his cousins, when the time comes for them to take over.

has always been super into cars. not necessarily the highest retail price, but more so the money, mods, and work that can be put into a good build. evidently, he works at a vehicle customization and repair shop, just a few miles north of los angeles . if you wanna pimp your ride, he's your guy.

la parties and souped up vehicles introduced him to the world of illegal street racing in his early twenties, and he's been hooked ever since. the adrenaline he gets from ripping around city streets is a better hit than any drug on the market.

You discreetly judged Marshall by his look, seeing him smile with that cunning smile while talking to his mentor, Dr Dre. For a moment, your eyes met in quick eye contact, which made you shrug your shoulders and quickly look away as you took hurried steps towards your row, which was one in front, unlike the boy, who responded to the eye contact with a challenging and some sarcastic comments.

You felt the blonde's gaze in your direction, burning your back as if it were a touch, the boy's sharp gaze went through your body as if it were a knife, he knew you had heard the diss, and you knew he was going to use it. that as a weapon.

It didn't take long for the “Best Hip-Hop Video” category to begin, suspense hung in the air until the presenter finally decided to deliver the result: — Just Lose It, Eminem! — The presenter shouted excitedly, his mouth curving into a smile as he held the prize.

The event was filled with screams and applause from celebrities and fans who participated, Marshall got up and walked to the main stage to get his trophy. Discreetly, you sighed deeply, internally wondering how they left that song not only with diss for you but also for Michael Jackson to win, you couldn't say anything, just roll your eyes and cross your arms.

Eminem stood behind the microphone, holding his award in his hands as he thanked the presenter and waved to his fans who screamed for his presence. He got a little closer to the microphone until he started dictating his speech:

— Yo, this is crazy...I don't have a speech with me so I'll just say what comes to mind, I want to thank Dr Dre, my mentor who helped me during the Encore album process, I also want to thank the people at Shady Record and Paul Rosenberg. — Marshall said, letting his blue orbs meet yours. — I'm really happy for the award, but I see that there aren't many people happy about my achievement because of the diss, Right Y/N?

A provocative smile formed on the boy's lips when he mentioned your name, you could hear comments and laughter coming from other participants in the event, unlike you, who adjusted your performance and crossed your legs, your fists clenching every time your gaze fell on that one stupid smile he had on his face, doing everything he could to get to you as if to test your patience. The rest of the night went well, unlike the exchanges of barbs that became news in the media and the looks exuding hatred between the two when they saw each other at the MTV after-party.

After a few weeks, you and your team were invited to start a new album project at a renowned studio in Los Angeles, your excitement was radiant as your mind reasoned and processed several snippets of lyrics and a response to Marshall's diss. However, his excitement quickly disappeared when he saw the same boy in the hallway, making him snort and a disinterested and hateful look form on his face. The rapper noticed a look of anger burning his back, making him turn his head with a look of distrust and mockery until his eyes fell on you, and soon that same sarcastic smile formed on his lips.

Your team made sure the two of you didn't run into each other in the hallways to avoid causing an argument, but it was difficult when Eminem came into your studio just to tease you.

After a long album production session, the moonlight finally fell over the sky, leaving you alone in the room just working on some last details on the first demo of your song. Your concentration and focus was broken by three soft knocks on the oak door, and soon a creak came, revealing Marshall.

— Alone? Even your team doesn't support you anymore? — Eminem asked in an ironic tone, leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed.

The rapper's voice made you shiver with anger, turning your head slowly towards him with an irritated expression and a raised eyebrow. —What the fuck do you want? Isn't it enough to piss me off at the entire VMAs now here too? — You responded with a grunt, removing your headphones as you stood up from his chair.

The rapper's teasing laugh drifted through the studio, stepping forward towards you.

—Are you angry? Did you forget that this is my building and you are inside one of my studios? Or didn't your team tell you that? — The boy responded with the same intensity, his eyes burning your skin.

Your ego was being hurt in that indirect fight, so your pride spoke over you.

You also took a step forward and crossed your arms, looking up at him in an intense gaze.

— I don't care if this studio is yours or not, you've been bothering me all day, are you lacking attention or what? — Your posture was confident, maintaining her eye contact with him.

Only a smirk left Eminem's lips, as he curved his body slightly towards him with his pupils dilated.

— If I managed to make you angry, it's because I caught your attention, right? — He replied, with a quick attack in a mocking and slightly rude tone. Your eyes widened and a small blush formed on yor cheeks, taking a step back slowly, which made the boy's ego even bigger.

— What is that? Where's all that courage you had until now? — He asked, taking another step forward and closing the space between you.

You couldn't deny it, he wasn't ugly, he never was, but his words made you very angry... but that anger was mixing with a kind of desire, a desire that you could see in his eyes.

And Marshall noticed this, with a confident and arrogant smile on his lips, he put his hand on her waist and gently brought her closer. Bringing your face closer. Your mind screamed for you to stop, but you couldn't deny the chemistry going on between the two of you, his blue eyes were like a magnet of attraction, the more you looked, the more you wanted. And then, her face slowly approached his, closing the space of centimeters between them in a fiery kiss, hot and full of desire, desire and anger, her arms entwined around his neck while Marshall's hands caressed her waist and went down to her breasts, caressing the spot as he deepened the kiss. How heavy are Corazon's and Doflamingo's coats?

Oooh, this is a great question! Thank you for this ask! This will be a long answer, since I need to tackle some body measurements for this, so... Yeh!

I'll go with the logic that the feathers are flamingo feathers, Doflamingo's from pink flamingos, and Cora's from black feather flamingos or myb they're dyed black, who knows. First, size!

The coats are all the way down to their feet, a few inches above ground. Let's give it 10 cm above ground. Let's put Cora's to be 2.83 meters in length. And Doflamingo's 2.95 meters in length.

Those coats are huge, and fully made of feathers both inside and outside it The only problem is are the feathers the small ones or the large ones? I'll say both, since some are pretty noticeable on the outline, especially at the collar, and even climb above Doffy's head, though that's because he puts the coat on his shoulders.

About Flamingo Feathers

Flamingo feathers range from 10-15cm in length and 2-4cm in width. They're larger than most bird feathers. Each feather can cover an area of 20-60cm² (0.002m²-0.006m²). This will be important later.

DQ Brothers Chest Width

Okay, that out of the way, we need width of the coats now, for that we need chest width and chest circumference (because the coats need to be WIDER than chest circumference) DQ bros... OFF WITH YOUR SHIRTS SO PHYSICS CAN MEASURE YOU!

Fuck yes, this is the best day ever. I should have became a stylist. If after this, nobody writes Doffy x Reader x Corazon where Reader has to take measurements of the DQ brothers bodies to make their clothes/coats, then I have failed in my endeavours.

The chest width is 1/3 or 1/4th of a height. So, with that in mind... We'll put 1/3rd:

Doffy:

3/3= 1, so 1 meter

3/4= 0.75 meter

So his chest is 0.75-1 meter wide. Mmmm. (Incoherent noises) I like taking measurements very much. Thank you, One Piece gods. Let's put Doffy's to be... The maximum. He's quite wide. 🫣

Doffy Chest Width = 1 meter

With that we measure chest circumference. Chest circumference is typically 1.5 times the chest width. Therefore!

Doffy's Chest Circumference: 1 × 1.5 = 1.5 meters

Corazon's Chest Width = 0.97 m

Corazon’s Chest Circumference = 1.46 m

Now, I want everyone to pull out their rulers. Spread those babies out to 1 m width. And lie on them. That's how big they are. That's how small you are when you lay atop their torso/chest. YOU WELCOME.

Corazon's Feather Coat

Cora is 2.93 m. His arms are half that length each. So that gives us... 1.46 meters for sleeves (which are not part of the circumference, but are important for area).

First, we need an area of the body of the coat.

The DQ brothers' bodies are wide even if they do look lean they look lean because they're 3 fckn meters tall. The 1 meter circumference usually used for loose coats is inaccurate. The coat is WIDER than the DQ brothers, it flares out, like wings.

Okay, we add FLARE. That's 20%.

Width (of Rosinante's coat)

0.97 + (0.20×0.97) = 0.97 + 0.194 = 1.16 m (I don't like this result bcs in the manga there is a lot of the coat on each side, so we'll round it to be 1.2 m instead, prob needed more flare, so 60cm of the coat on each side should be good for Rosi. Those coats are meant to be big, they're meant to INTIMIDATE. Can't intimidate SHIT with only 10 cm of the coat on each side.)

Width (of Rosinante's coat) = 1.2 m

Circumference (of Rosinante's Coat)

Chest Circumference + (0.20× Chest Circum)

1.46 + (0.20 × 1.46) = 1.75 m

Circumference of Rosi's Coat = 1.75 m

And now, with the circumference of his coat, we can now get the AREA of his coat. Remember how I mentioned the length of Rosi's arms? Well, we need that for the length of his sleeves + the area of his sleeves. First, coat body.

Rosi's Coat Body

Circumference of Rosi's Coat = 1.75 m

Length of Coat = 2.83 m

Surface Area of Body = length × circumference × 2 = 2.83 × 1.75 × 2 = 9.905 m²

Yaay, we got the coat body area. Now for sleeves

Rosi's Sleeves Area

Gotta be honest, I used my armchair's armrest width for this bcs I think it fits. The width of Rosi's arm is 20 cm up top. The circumference is then 0.6 m. We put that into the area formula:

Area of Sleeve = length of sleeve × circumference = 1.46 × 0.6 = 0.876 m²

For both sleeves

Both Sleeves = 2× 0.876m²= 1.75 m²

We add that to the body area...

Rosi's Coat Area = 9.90 + 1.75 = 11.65 m²

Number of Feathers on Rosi’s Coat

We'll use the big black flamingo feathers. Before anyone assaults these two for animal abuse, a flamingo has 10,000-50,000 feathers. Average feather coats have about 2,000 feathers used depending on the feather. Could I have just said Doffy & Rosi have that amount of feathers — 10,000? Yes. Would that be lazy of me? Yes. Also, flamingos have black flight feathers hidden on the underside of their wings, so that's where the feathers for Rosinante's coat came from, most likely! So, you can say Rosinante is the thing that keeps Doflamingo flying. (I'm fine, I'm fine. 😭) Remember how I said the feathers take up 0.002m²? Well... We did all these to get this simple calculation.

Surface Area/Area Feathers Cover = Feather Count

11.65/0.002 = 5,825 feathers

And now the simplest calculation of all. The underside black feathers are actually a bit heavier than the pink feathers. We'll do that they weigh 0.17 grams.

5,825 × 0.17 = 990 grams

Weight of Rosinante's Feathers = 0.99 kilograms

This (once you add more fabrics to carry the feathers) will be considered a heavyweight feather coat. So it is heavy. Fur is much more heavier. Feathers are light as FUCK. And theirs are full feather coats from both sides, it seems to me. They could have some insulation so myb that adds a kilogram. Otherwise, this. Now, onto Doflamingo.

Doflamingo's Feather Coat

Width of Doffy's Coat

1 + (0.20 × 1) = 1 + 0.20 = 1. 20 m (we're gonna put this one to be 1.60 m wide instead with more flare, so each side not covered by Doffy's body is 80 cm)

Width = 1.60 m

Circumference of Doffy's Coat

1.5 + (0.20 × 1.5) = 1.8 m

Circumference of Doffy's Coat = 1.8 m

Doflamingo's Coat Body

Surface Area of Body = 2.95 × 1.8 × 2 = 10.62 m²

Doflamingo's Sleeves Area

Area of Sleeve = 1.5 × 0.6 = 0.9m²

Both Sleeves = 2 × 0.9 = 1.8 m²

Add that:

Full Area of Doffy's Coat = 10.62 + 1.8 = 12.42 m²

12.42/0.002 = 6,210

Weight of Doflamingo's Feathers

Doflamingo has normal flamingo feathers, which weigh 0.1 grams, so his coat is actually LIGHTER than Corazon's even though he has more feathers. Sorta like the weight of the world, eh? Cora carried the weight of being a spy on his shoulders, while Doflamingo has a sorta carefree nature when after becoming a warlord.

6,210 × 0.10 = 621 grams

Weight of Doflamingo's Feathers = 0.62 kg

2.8kg (suiting wool for the shell) + 4.2kg (satin for the lining, omg this shit is so fancy holy fuck this is so cool I'm geeking out) +1 kg (canvas interlining) + 1kg (oil treatment for fabric being water repellant OMG I HAD NO IDEA THEY USE OIL FOR THAT THAT IS SO FCKN COOL OMG) + (feathers)

= 9.7kg (rough estimate)

Rosinante's Feather Coat Weight = 9.7 kg (~ 9.9kg)

We add the same numbers for Doffy.

Doflamingo's Feather Coat Weight = 9.5 kg (~ 9.62kg)

YESSS! NOW THIS MAKES MUCH MORE SENSE, AND NOW WE CAN PRESUME DOFFY DOES HAVE HIS CRANED NECK + SLOUCH FROM CARRYING THE COAT ALL THE TIME. He's wearing nearly 10 kg on his back!

And... (Panting) Done. Makes you wonder why the fuck Doffy's neck is that forward, then, when his coat isn't that heavy? Honestly, I always thought it was like 5kg weight myself which explains his terrible posture, so actually researching all this has been surprising. He just... He just walks like that. And has that stature. Bcs he... Just has that posture. You have to know, once becoming warlord, Doflamingo is very lax and acts quite carefree. In North Blue, he was full businessman even by posture - very straight-backed. Just compare his entrance on Minion Island to entrance on Punk Hazard. He's frowning on Minion Island, but is smiling in Punk Hazard - malicious as it is. He has the lax posture as a warlord because he's confident and genuine confidence makes you relax. That means shoulders, neck, back, they all slump. Sure, he's ready to attack anytime, his muscles definitely tense when he is ready for attacking. But still.

Oda probably wanted to go full symbolism with Doflamingo being as a flamingo so he gave him that craned forward neck like a flamingo's, and the back posture makes him seem like he is prowling toward you, like a lion. Since all the warlords are animal inspired and have the themes to match with their animal name, it's no wonder Oda chose to show it with Doflamingo's posture - even his legs are LONG as fuck! Doflamingo is all grandeur and is of the most rare bloodline and a flamingo is a very grandeurish bird considered royalty among bird species.

I must confess that despite not posting about ships too terribly often here, I am a huge massive multishipper LMAO. I obvs favor some more than others but know that I truly could sit here and make an essay about all the ships I can think of that I like

So firstly and probs most obviously is Lumini <3 I won't lie I was lowkey shipping them even before it was hinted so having it be canon is THRILLING. Genuinely the first time a ship I like has become real LMAO. Naturally I like them because I love Lunar and I love Gemini and I love robot x angel dynamics so I am unwell abt them ^_^

Secondly is for sure Solar x Sun, mainly with his own Sun. I have truly genuinely shed tears over these two. If I think about them for a second too long I get overwhelmed with such a deep grief I have to listen to The Bird Song on loop until I get everything out of my system BAHDHDH

And last but certainly not least is Solar x Ruin <3 I liked them more when Ruin's true nature was revealed because frankly they were too normal and fluffy for me to care about them before LMAO

Since you’ve been interested to write a Nam-gyu x reader fic, that takes place in the games, and you were open for some ideas, I’d love to share some thoughts with you! I though a lot before writing... Prepare yourself because it’s kinda long. So sorry in advance 😭

His character is so intense, so layered, and I think there’s so much potential for a dark, tension-filled story that explores his possessiveness, his downfall, and his unresolved feelings for the reader.

So here’s what I was thinking:

-The reader was Nam-gyu’s ex before the Games. She left him after he spiraled into drugs, lost all their money in crypto, and refused to change. He begged her to stay, but by then, she had already given up on him ( It’s up to you if you want a backstory for the reader and her financial struggles, I also have some ideas but I don’t want to exaggerate)

Now, months later, they unknowingly enter the Games separately. And when they see each other again it’s pure shock followed by bitterness, masked under arrogance (from my man Nam-gyu ofc).

But here’s the thing: the more she avoids him, the more obsessed he becomes. She left him once. She won’t leave him again.

Now here it’s up to you again because I have mixed feelings : Would he protect her? Would he punish her for walking away? Would he try to control her just to prove she still belongs to him? I don’t really know I want to hear your vision too.

- After the second challenge, another male player gets too close to the reader. Maybe the reader sees Nam-gyu in the first game but hides from him. They come face to face during the team selection for the second game. Thanos is doing his thing, asking female players to join. And after she turns around, he’s shocked realising it’s her. HEHE.... dae-ho mentioned!!!! although i never really talk about him, dae-ho is another one of my fav characters bc of my friend haha. i'll try to do him justice when i'm writing him!!!! he's so sweet :) i think i could see some fun scenarios transpiring between reader and nam-gyu with dae-ho thrown into the mix. dae-ho is so sweet, protective, and respectful towards jun-hee, i no doubt imagine it would be the same with anyone else. even though there's nothing romantic about him and reader's interactions with each other, just dae-ho being a genuinely nice, caring guy, it'd make for some good rage bait for someone resentful and insecure like nam-gyu LOLLL

now i'm sitting here pondering... because of how little we know (in canon) about nam-gyu, i'd say it's pretty up in the air as to how he'd react to seeing an ex in the games that he's on bad terms with, and it could honestly go any of the ways that you listed! i personally think because of how prideful and bitter he is, he wouldn't go up to her right away for sure or even want her to know that he saw her/cares, because that would be giving her the satisfaction of knowing he still loves her / wants her back, and the thought of someone seeing him in that state again would make him mad.

put in that situation, i could see him pretending to be indifferent and so focused on himself after they initially see each other in desperate hope that she'd either approach him first or think that he dgaf, has been doing great without her, and moved on (he hasn't). i think it'd be especially sensitive for him because this is a long separation, months, and logically, by now he shouldn't still be hung up on her, but ofc he is bc he's a loser.

probably has to force himself not to look for where she's sitting during the pentathlon (because that'd be a weak thing to do, and then she'd know he gaf...). his team goes before hers, they pass duhh, and then he once again has to pretend like he's not about to short circuit waiting for her team to come through alive (and ofc gi-hun's team is last!!!). once he sees her and knows she's fine he goes on to say the "oh how many roaches do u think are left," thing, trying to play off the fact that he wasn't about to lose his mind.

thennn, when night comes and she still hasn't come up to him :] i'll go onto the part that u requested where he confronts her! i'll see what i can do with that and try to stay true to ur request >:)

i think his general behavior towards her would be him desperately trying to play off how much he really cares, but when it comes down to it, he is worried about her and tries to protect her, though he tries to do it in a way that doesn't show just how much he gaf, and he resents himself for just how much he does care.

when i write i usually just make a loose outline and then free ball that shit from there, so i'll try to add in some fun stuff and other character interactions to pad out the story! i'll prob write up to the aftermath of gi-hun's plan, just bc i don't wanna speculate too much on what games come after orrr what nam-gyu's fate is in s3....😭😭

Heyyy 😊 idk if u still write oneshots for eminem but i have a request for eminem where the reader is yonger then him like prob in 2005 shes 18 or so and shes a famous singer songwriter (her style being like billie eilish and lana dal ray) and like theres two different versions one where he writes a diss and during an award show she disses him back and like they later resolve their issues or so and something like them ending up recording in the same building and then them hooking up or another version being eminem loves her songs and they record in the same building so he asks to collab and them ending up together and they go through a fight and like she gets a call from his daughters ( coz they get along ) that he’s overdosed and her helping him through that phase and u can write more about how their relationship evolves like her being a huge support to himand hus daughters and them getting married ( or u could add him first not wanting to get married coz of kim but coming to his senses) then him mentioning her in his someone save me song about how much shes been there for him

i like the idea so i will definitely write it. i think i will write the second version first because it appeals to me the most. and if i still have motivation after that i will definitely write the other one. thanks for the idea ❤️

i'm going to add something to this because i feel i have to be honest. lately i've been busy with other things, i've also got other interests and school also demands a lot of energy from me, because of this i still haven't written this request which is a shame because it's a nice idea but i can't bring myself to write anymore. i find this very sad to say and i'm really sorry. But never say never..maybe i'll get a motivation kick one day and start to write again, who knows what this new year brings.

So I didn't weigh in when I said I would.

But I finally weighed in today.

Big mistake/ big reality check.

Can't decide if it's actually a bad thing...

I've been eating 1 meal/ day and 3 things of protein. And having my natural amount of coffee with milk. (About 8 mugs)

It adds up to between my bmr and sedentary kc4ls/ day.

So I was okay with it.

So was he.

Granted he had some old mistakes to cash in on.

He's holding it over me, reminding me that the day will come.

He hasn't cashed in yet.

He was gonna the other day, but never did.

And I assumed I'd have gained a bit. 1-3kg.

That would've been fine.

Over this recovery time I've gained all the way back up to 70kg.

I worked my ass off to get from 70 to 66.

I kept cycling the same 3-4kg.

And then I decided to recover.

Cause my friend and staff have all been worried.

I've been a little worried too.

That I'm taking it too far. In terms of health, not w3ight.

I was doing fine recovering.

Sorry for disappearing for two days, but I do have something to show for it! I present to you my solarballs x warrior cats au thing! It may be a bit different than canon clans, but I had to so Mecury and Venus wouldn't be in clans by themselves.

I'll prob change them in the future and ignore the height. AND FUCK I MIXED UP MARS AND VENUS DESIGNS WHEN DRAWING MARS, IGNORE THE COLLAR

In order, Mecury, Mars, Venus, Venus's quasi moon and Earth.

I tried, okay? It's hard to translate Earth into a cat. He looks better without the shading. I gave him a mix of grey and blueish grey fur, maybe it's from a lack of the colour gene thingy. I put the blue and green in his eyes.

I had to remake venus cause his og patterns stood out too much

Tiny bit of info for the stories:

Solarclan is led by SunStar (real creative, I know), but the clan is spilt up into 12 sections, 1 for each of the planets and anything orbit around them plus Pluto cause he was only demoted semi-recently, one for the sun and one for each of the belts.

Mecury's and Venus's belts are also solely used for storage as they have no moons. (I have a story for venus's quasi moon when I draw them).

Each planet is in charge of their own section, and they rule over their moons. The dwarf planets' sections were merged together when the rules for planets were created, Pluto's bit of the story will revolve around around this.

Mecury = TinyMoray

Mecury was found at about three moons old with many wounds, making his fur sticky with blood. (Proto rocky planets were all in a rogue group, more about that in a later post) Sun took him in and raised in the clan, due to this Sun would be sort of a heli-copter friend. As a kit, Mecury was very weak and prone to illness, but (thanks to Uranus, who would be sort of like the healers in the tribe of rushing water) he slowly began to stablize.

Now he's spends his time at Sun's side and wondering where he came from.

Mars = RedMoorlands

Mars was from the same rogue group as Mecury and the others and arrived two months after Mecury, dragging an almost dead Earth behind. He spent most of his kithood with Earth, messing around and pranking the others before he eventually grew out of it when he came back one day with three kits. After his largest kit's death, he became more friendly and protective to his remaining two after seeing how the others treated their kits (gas/ice giant's moons).

Venus = MorningVoids

Venus was a part of the Rocky planet rogue group but disappeared soon after the fire that disbanded the group. He was taken in by twolegs and lived a comfortable life until he found himself on the streets with nothing but his kit.

He wandered for many days before coming across Solarclan. The sun took him in, and Mars immediately recognised him. To his horror, he found that a pawful of cats from the rogue group were in the clan, but they barely seemed to remember.

Now, he is desperately trying to keep his kit a secret. What if the others find out and use her to attack? But Mars and Luna are starting to get suspicious. Why would Venus spend so much time alone in his sector.

I just love giving my favourite characters trauma, lol. Also, he lost a leg, 2nd au I made where he did.

Zoozve us Venus's only kit. She doesn't remember much of her past other than the dangers of the thunderpath and watching her father nibble off his leg to escape from a bear trap. She's very anxious and jumpy, she doesn't know any other cats and she'd like to keep it that way, why wouldn't she? They would just hurt her and her dad.

Fan fact: I have two au, including her, and she's the complete opposite. Manipulative child to anxious Ravenpaw child

Earth = Nature's Eolith (name may change, can't find many good words starting with E and ending in H, no I am not using earth)

Earth was in the same rogue group as the other rocky planets but lost all his memories of it after the fire. All he remembers is his life in the valley. He always wondered how he and the other rocky planets got their scars (mars and his scars are after the cut-off). He hates that he got stuck with all the little kits (his quasi moons) Luna found in the territory.

well it's, honestly kinda like a day 1 for today (march 3) but uh, let's say thinking about what to do counts for now.

those earlier days i was doing minor tweaks to the game mechanics, changed the default walking speed to my liking and added area spawn mechanics via an add-on, so that patch of broken tiles gives a different kind of enemy than the rest of the place. neat

i've thought of what to do with the game and the ones i mainly gravitated to were:

make it a roguelike, naturally (probs influenced by playing emerald rogue a fair bit)

spell fusion/crafting - uh so i remember reading somewhere that dnd takes its spell slot inspiration from a magic system that had people forget how to cast the spell when they do, so i thought having to hold spells in inventory and having the ability to mix match fuse attributes could be fun, maybe

turn order ui - i just like these

initiative-based combat mechanic, thing - uhh, basically i wanted to see if i can make turn-based combat interesting and i thought if you call out all your moves first, setting the order who attacks, and your entire party only attacking when the first person in order acts (hence, you're all as slow as the unit with higher initiative) which, sounds like it'd be cool in concept ? maybe

anyway, i kinda didn't do any of that today and just decided to make an options menu because the volume is always so loud

it wasn't that hard to figure out how to add it. ended up repurposing Scene_Menu for the options script, and well it worked out fairly okay i think (i thought)

The Zoldyck family is part of the elf tribe, practicing dark magic. They wear dark clothing to blend in with the night. Their power reaches its peak when it's a new moon; when it is total darkness.
