A Forgery.

I wish there was anything that would make me desire my existence other than the need to feel the warmth of another’s love.

How grossly pathetic am I? I’m no coward. I’d happily welcome the embrace of my end if I turned around to their arms opened to me.

But there’s still a burning deep down in my chest. A smoldering yearning for something that I’ve never known. It’s the coals left over from a younger self that are still white hot, sitting at the bottom of my heart that is always wanting to be wanted.

Possibly predictably, the heat and flames from the forge that once raged inside my heart is also what’s responsible for hardening it to the brittle, crumbling state that it’s in.

Someday, this hollow vessel, the structure once serving as that forge will finally collapse on the last traces of that great fire. Extinguishing and smothering the last bits of warm ash.

☁️ - whats your nighttime routine? is it easy for you guys to fall asleep or does it take awhile? do you have anything you do before bed, like reading or journaling?

hm it’s usually hard for me to fall asleep anyway, but mammon and i cuddle and talk for a bit before we sleep so it makes winding down easier.

🎀- do you two enjoy dressing up? or would you rather stick with comfier clothes? what are you guy’s favorite outfits?

i 100% enjoy comfier clothes over fancy stuff, but mammon doesn’t have a preference. he does really enjoy when i actually put effort into my appearance and it flusters him beyond belief. i think mammons favorite outfit is his casual one, mine is probably one of his shirts and leggings -w-
