Imma yap about fiction ideas here because I feel like people on tumblr get it LOL so! I’ve always loved taking ideas from source material I like and then sorta just comin up with my own stuff if that makes sense? Me and everybody else on here ‼️

Anyways, I drew Elizabeth and Charlie from funny jumpscare bear game lore as teenagers ONCE and now I cannot stop drawing them. My daughters now!! But I think it would be funnnnnn if. In this good universe or whatever I guess, if the MCI kiddos were also in highschool now and were buddies with Lizzie and Charlie 😭

I imagine my Lizzie and Charlie hang out with different crowds- but they grew up together and they two are still very close friends. I need them to be inseparable outside of school. BUT I think it would be cool if Elizabeth was friends with like, Susie (I had this idea that they’re both on the cheer team or something like a stereotypical teen movie) and I think it would be fun if Charlie was friends with Cassidy, etc etc! Also would be funny if Cassidy and Elizabeth had beef with each other for some reason. I don’t know why yet, but sort of like “an Afton and Cassidy just hating each other” like the source material LMFAO. Plus…I just think Cassidy is cool as HELL and I wanna draw her as a teenager too!! Whatever!!

Sometimes I forget that these characters originate from hor hor hor the game. Like huh? I thought these were our collective OCs !! I never had a Fnaf phase when I was younger let me have it now :(((((

alright, I’m annoyed with the class that I’m taking. it’s about writing novels, and I thought it would have cool stuff about balancing your narrative and developing themes etc, but instead she spent the first class talking about how every book fits into the Hero’s Journey (the monomyth template). and I was somewhat of a contrarian, and said “can you give us examples of books that don’t fit into this template?” and she said “no. because all books fit.”

but I dunno man, I just finished reading this Korean book where the plot is just the character having a string of hookups and reflecting on them without changing in any way. I don’t know if it’s possible to contort that into the Hero’s Journey.
