you’d really thrive in some environment that feels more- “widespread” I suppose, that doesn’t mean cracking yourself open to a room of strangers, I mean just sharing yourself- still from a place of your own entertainment- what I mean is that it’d be really healthy for you to find an outlet for the pent up jitters you get- find it online if you want to try that, try little baby steps, why not?- go on one-time dates just to release a bit of what you keep inside you- interact with random people sitting next to you at bars,- no attachments, just feel out what you feel when you let your inward personality, be more outward- on a lease 🐩. I’m hearing some of you may be a little fearful of attachment even, work that out- that doesn’t mean you’ll then sacrifice your peace, you’ll just gain a wider world for yourself by gaining new connections- and obviously, with the personality and personhood that you have- you can totally just pick and choose who gets to be a part of that world and your time! you owe nothing to anyone. do you have any actual clue how many people are out there, whose perception of you is not just what they observe, but what you actually are? and their perception of you actually helps you and is used to contribute to your happiness and peace??? yea. having actual friends is freaking great. and the more you simply open yourself up to that- while staying aware and choosing who you want- that is going to be the big door that’ll be opened to you- you’ll receive so many amazing experiences and will shift and broaden your world and the worlds of others, you’ll be like a big tree, growing it’s roots around other trees- isn’t that soooo cute??? ok I’m trying to see into the future details in regards to you finding your “tribe”- spirit is honestly wanting things to be vague, so as you can remain open without any expectations. kk? ur logically get so fucking scared sm shits abt to go down, u just start running

it isnt until ur reaching for a ledge and some webbing shoots out of ur arm (from a glitchy little spot on ur arm, where it could be coming out of ur skin, but sometimes its a blue and red bracelet)

it latched onto the nearest building, and thats how u find out u can grapple ur way, literally Spiderman style, out of the harbor

A bloodcurdling scream wakes you from your sleep. Your eyes are bleary at first, your brain trying to make sense of the sound you heard. Was it real, or were you just dreaming? You lay there, frozen for a moment, the ship silent as it rides the waves of the Grand Line.

You turn your head towards Robin's bed, where she sleeps soundly, for once, and then towards Nami's. Your eyebrows draw closer when you fail to see the familiar lump of her body under the blankets. Sitting up, the sheets pool around your waist, and you look around the room for any sign of her.

Coming up empty-handed, you slip one leg out of your bed, carefully avoiding the creaky floorboard directly under your feet. "Robin."

Your crewmate shuffles slightly, a small groan coming from her lips. "Yeah?"

"Nami's missing."

Robin looks to the right side of the room where the redhead's bed sits vacant. You know she won't play into your wild thoughts that your friend got kidnapped and flicks her wrist in dismissal. "She's probably in the bathroom. Go back to sleep."

You nod noncommittally and ignore her as she turns around and goes back to sleep. Despite her careless nature, you know what you heard.

Tiptoeing toward the door, it opens swiftly, and you step into the hallway. Its eerily quiet, and you try holding your breath in intervals to keep yourself as undetectable as possible.

Seeking out the boy's quarters would be the best thing to do, you think; at least Zoro'll calm your nerves with some shitty explanation that you can pretend to believe — he's good at that since he's not scared of mere sounds that you'd deem a ghost the cause of.

Wrapping your arms around yourself against the draft that swims down the middle of the hallway, you can't help but look behind you at every available chance.

You never heard another scream, you remember, and the thought escapes you in the form of a whimper.

A door slamming shut turns your whimper to a yelp, and goosebumps gloss your skin at the sound. The ship goes quiet afterwards, dousing the hallway in utter silence. You can barely hear the waves crashing against the stern.

At last, you stand before the door to the boy's room, your body almost throwing itself against it in fear. You stumble inside, scanning the space for your boyfriend. A groan comes from the right side of the room, and you know you've woken Sanji from his sleep.

The cook sits up, his eyes widening when he sees you. He calls your name softly, and you meet his gaze. His expression turns to one of concern, and you can imagine the ridiculous look on your face — one of unconcealable fright.

"I heard a scream."

Like he can hear your barely there whisper from the far corner of the room, Zoro jumps from his hammock and makes his way toward you. "What's wrong?"

You look between him and Sanji and sigh. "Nami's missing from our room."

Sanji's eyebrows fly to his hairline, and he looks past you out the door. "You said you heard a scream?"

Zoro sighs and rubs his eye with his knuckle. "Are you sure you weren't dreaming?"

You nod, looking directly at the swordsman, who eyes you with rare apprehension. "I'm scared."

Your tone flips a switch inside of Zoro and then he's standing up straighter, his hand resting on the hilt of one of his swords. "'Mkay."

Sanji pushes past Zoro and leaves the room.

"Where are you going?"

"To the deck," the cook answers without turning around or slowing.

"Idiot, he's going to get himself killed."

You latch onto Zoro's bicep quickly, his skin warm under your touch. "Do we have to follow him?"

Zoro huffs. "I guess. Who else is going to make me those rice balls?"

Rolling your eyes, you urge him to follow Sanji. "C'mon."

Risking a glance behind you, you go stiff. "Zoro."

"Yeah?" He mumbles, looking down at you and following your gaze to his other crewmates — or where they should be. "What the fuck?"

The empty beds make your stomach drop. Chopper, Usopp, Brook, Franky, and Luffy are missing from their hammocks, and the sight makes tears prick the corners of your eyes.

You're at a loss for words until Zoro pulls you out of the room. "I don't know what's going on here, but I'm gonna kick their asses."

Stepping into the empty hallway, the ship is silent. Zoro leads the way, his steps never faltering as you walk to the deck. When he opens the door, the wind hits you in the face, and the tears in your eyes run unwillingly.

Sniffling, you look around. The stars above you do little to comfort you, and you curse the moon for being a void in the sky tonight.

"Don't cry," Zoro mumbles, and you know he doesn't mean it harshly. "Who do you think I am, huh? Think I'm gonna let anything happen to you?"

"No," you laugh wetly, wiping your eyes. "You're my big, strong boyfriend who has the bearings of a rock."

"That's my girl," He says, a flit of humour in his voice. "Now, where're these morons?"

A sharp scream from the bow of the Sunny makes you yelp and tighten your grip on Zoro's arm.

"What are these idiots up to?" He mumbles, and then you are led toward the sound, every fibre of your being wanting to run the other way and maybe into the ocean. Zoro draws Shusui and slices the air, jolting you from a stupor.

"Watch where you swing that thing, mosshead!"

Rolling his eyes, Zoro snarls at the rest of your crew who emerge from the small room inside the figurehead.

You gasp at seeing your crewmates unharmed and drop your arms from Zoro's elbow. "What the fuck, guys?"

Nami, who you were elated to see, barked a laugh, doubling over at the look on your face—which you were sure was one of surprise.

Luffy yawns and stumbles toward you. "Nami's revenge is getting boring!"

"Hey!" She yells, whacking him upside the head. "You were all for it earlier!"

Luffy groans and continues his path to the boy's quarters. "That's when you gave me meat."

"Well!' Usopp announces. "I sure love a good scare."

"You were shaking like a leaf, big guy," Sanji deadpans, taking a drag from his cigarette.

"Was not!"

"Was too!"

"Why were you all stuffed into Sunny?" Zoro asks over the arguing.

Nami huffs, crosses her arms over her chest, and eyes you with mischief. "Revenge for spending my berries on that stinky idiot!"

"I didn't," You furrow your eyebrows. "I had those berries left over when I sold my share of the treasure. I would never steal from you."

"I know that," Nami whines, dropping her face into her palms. "Well, if you didn't, then who did?"

Out of the corner of your eye, you see Brook and Chopper slowly inching closer to the door to the quarters. Realisation overcomes you instantly, and you sigh. "Why don't you ask those two?"

Narrowing her eyes at the musician and the doctor, Nami gasps. "You!"

Collective screams from behind you echo into the night as Nami chases your crewmates down the deck and into the hallway.

Zoro yawns, tugging your hand. "Okay.”

You shoot him a wary look. “What?”

Zoro nodded towards the boys quarters. “We’re going to bed?”

Your cheeks heat when you realise he’s taking you with him. When he notices your smug expression, Zoro rolls his eyes.

“It’s not a big deal.”

“No, I know,” you laugh, following him down the stairs.

“Then stop your giggling.”

He wouldn’t tell you, but Zoro never wanted to feel the stab of worry he got when you woke him up in a panic in his chest again.

“I’m gonna kill them in the morning,” he grumbles, rubbing his eye with his knuckle. “For scarin’ the shit outta you, and for pissin’ me off…”

Gripping your hand tighter, Zoro pulls you into his side, sighing when you raise your eyebrow. “Can’t have you goin’ anywhere.”

You never even made it to the Court Of Fontaine before you were confronted by Focalors, the Hydro Archon, of being an imposter of the Creator of Teyvat. In her own eccentric way, she throws accusations at you. ‘To take the face of the Creator is not only a crime in Fontaine but in all of Teyvat!’

You deny her claims but she only laughs, ‘you’re acting ignorant, as if you do not know who the Creator is. Do you have any evidence to prove your innocence?’

You look down, there was no evidence you had that would prove to her and everyone else that this was the face you were born with, or that you never heard of this Creator before.

“The trial of the Century” is what the Steambird called it.

The Opera House was as full as ever, many people wanting to see the verdict the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale would give or wanting to see the one who dared to imitate Their Grace.

Maybe it was out of spite or your own foolishness, but you never allowed the trial to fully begin. Turning to Neuvillette, you declare that you want to duel rather than stand trial.

Despite the protests of Focalors, who wanted to prosecute you, the wish is granted.

The weight of the sword felt unbearable in your clammy hands as you stared at your opponent. Champion Duelist Clorinde stares back nonchalantly, her face not giving any clues on how she felt in this moment. However you heard rumors that she personally requested to duel you.

You readjusted your grip on the hilt as you fix your stance.

Was this truly the correct course of action? To fight and prove your innocence when you know that there’s no way you can win?

No it didn’t matter, you can’t back out now.

The crowd watches eagerly waiting for the duel to begin, how could the people of Fontaine do this? You were a real person and they acted as if you were a character on stage and the play was about to reach it’s final act. The excited looks on their face made your blood boil. If you somehow manage to make it out of this, you would make them pay.

You take one final glance at Furina before the duel commences.

Clorinde wastes no time to strike, using her electro vision, she effortlessly knocks your sword out of your hand and drags her blade down your torso.

Whether her fatal blow was an act of mercy or a warning for anyone else who dared to take the Creators face, the duel was over as soon as it started.

But…

No this couldn’t be right…

Clorinde looks down at her weapon, the golden ichor that dripped onto the floor caused her eyes to widen as she looks at your limp body by her feet.

She immediately drops her weapon as she kneel not caring as the blood began to stain her clothing. Her hands press against your chest to slow the bleeding as she calls out to the crowd.

“We need a doctor!”

A medical team rushes down to your side making haste to attend to your wounds, your vision begins to blur as the mortified looks of Fontaine citizens watch in despair hoping that your life could be saved.

Furina, who sat at the top like always, quickly backs away before anyone could question her. How could she face her people when she was the one who laid these accusations at your feet? How could she face you?

She prays, hoping that an act of mercy could be given to her and her people, how could she call herself an Archon now?

The original publication by the Steambird was quickly scrapped and replaced with “The Creator of Teyvat Falsely Accused of being an Imposter.”

And it didn’t take long for the devastating news to reach the other nations too.

For some reason I’ve been hiving the vast middle names idk why… But Carlos is Carlos Glenn de Vil after Glenn Close who plays Cruella in the 1996 live action 101 Dalmatians. AN ABSOLUTE ICON

This tiger print fit is based upon one of Glenn Closes costumes from her movie. I love this color on Carlos likeee dayummmm 🫣

I am struggling a bit keeping his features consistent but this fit is a slay… I’m toying with the idea of Carlos always wearing red gloves no matter the fit… his cigarette stick I’ve decide will always be red.

(Boyce had the most doe eyes I have ever seen on anybody so I really wanna keep those consistent toooo)

I think I’m going to write the Jay scene from Carlos’ point of view. I’m really loving his redesign and the way he views situations is very analytical which I love to write for ( I think I might like him more then Harry 😰)

Here is a small excerpt from a wip I call “Sonata” , it’s the story about Mal taking Uma’s Shell necklace, and Carlos telling her she Goofed big time:

Like a blur Jay was on his knees, his scimitars splayed out far from reach. Harry’s hands were stuffed to brim with slick brown hair. The edge of his cutlass pressed to just below his Adam’s apple, and the tip of his golden hook caressed the soft of Jays cheeks. “ I told yew Gorgeous, it’s ney so simple.” Jay swallowed as sword dug deeper into his throat, and Harry looked up the hall towards Mal, Evie, and Carlos. Carlos knew Harry so well, he gave only one warning to anyone crossing him, Carson hanging from his entrails had seemed like that warning but maybe he was giving Mal a second chance. It confused him, Harry’s methods were strict, every situation a do or die no second try, he didn’t give more choices than that.

Mal couldn’t spell him she was too slow and by that time Jay would have been minced meat. To Carlos absolutely agony she didn’t offer Harry the necklace, it couldn’t be clearer that he was giving them, no MAL, the chance to save Jay. Was she really that prideful? Then Harry laughed, a loud crazed noise, the resulting tremble giving Jay a cut the size of a hair. He gasped and Harry quieted and crouched lower, tilting his sword and jays head to opposing angles, and most peculiarly soothing him as he did so.

Jay strained but let out no more sound. Harry’s smile returned as he gazed deeper into Jays wild eyes. “ I like yew gorgeous~ Ye get straight to the point yur strong and I’d say the fairest challenge I’ve ‘ad in ten years.” He was whispering soft enough to be intimate, and loud enough for the spectacle. Tonight is becoming, as often happens with a gala, a dismal affair.

Bruce has (finally) managed to extract himself from a torturous conversation with Mrs. Johnson, and is allowing himself a quiet breath with a glass of apple juice masquerading as whiskey when someone taps him on his shoulder.

“Mr. Wayne?”

It’s a voice he recognises, despite only meeting the man once. He doesn’t groan—he even resists the urge to throw his glass at him and make a break for it—but it’s a close affair. He’s not Superman, after all, and there’s a limit to his strength.

With a deep breath and the customary ditzy smile of Brucie Wayne plastered on his face, he turns towards Mr. Masters.

Only to immediately freeze.

“Ah, yes, I don’t believe you’ve met.” Mr. Masters turns and presents a young boy to him, gently pushing him forward slightly. His dark hair is ruffled and there’s a thunderous look on his face as he flashes Bruce a glare before stubbornly fixing his gaze back on the floor. “May I introduce to you my son, Daniel Masters?”

This is the fourth gala Vladimir Masters has been to since his reintroduction into high society, only the second one he and Bruce have attended together, and, as Bruce is silently lamenting, there is still so little known about the man. Yet, he doesn’t strike Bruce as someone that would pull a joke like this.

After 20 years locked away in his house suffering from an unnamed illness, his return had been completely unexpected and not entirely welcome, from what Bruce has heard. Too many years spent away shrouded in mystery has people weary about forging new connections, but his recent successes with his business might persuade a few brave—or foolhardy—individuals into making some investments.

Which must be why he’s now back on the gala scene.

Which must be why he’s chosen to become Mayor of a little unknown town in Illinois, as baffling as the choice may be.

Which must be why he’s pulling this stunt. This practical joke. Something to break the ice, to share a laugh with Bruce. To start a conversation.

The only real question is why Damian is going along with it.

“I’m sorry?” Bruce says, chuckling awkwardly.

Poor Damian looks just about ready to pull out a sword and start swinging, so perhaps he’s not as comfortable in going along with it as Bruce first thought. There's a tension in his shoulders, his whole body as taut as a bow string. Did Dick put him up to this? It’s definitely something his eldest would find funny.

“My son, Daniel. Daniel, say hello to Mr. Wayne.” There’s a flash of annoyance in Mr. Masters’ eyes as he gives Damian another nudge to introduce himself.

“Hello, Mr. Wayne.” Damian growls out, eyes still stubbornly lowered, his jaw tensing painfully. His voice sounds different, almost like he’s affecting Mr. Masters’ accent. Just what is he playing at? Bruce is struggling to find the funny side in all this.

Is this a case they’re working on? Not a prank, but rather some investigation that Bruce isn’t privy to? It wouldn’t be the first time his children have kept him out of the loop, but to do it in a gala, and a Wayne gala at that, where they’re sure to be recognised…

No, it has to be a joke. They’re planning to embarrass him, they have to be.

I’m so excited to be posting this after having it in my drafts since last November. And it was so exciting to be liveblogging about an MCR show again with everyone!!

I hope it isn’t a long time before we all can do this again. Following the tour was such an incredible experience for me and to do it again for two nights only this weekend was amazing
