Swear to god if I was actually a proper reddit user I’d be posting the stupidest AITA posts
#so my friend rang me asking if i could print something out. mind you i got her message saying that and i was responding and she literally#didn’t even give me one minute to answer. so i answer the phone already annoyed because it’s like.. where the hell is the fire#i’m trying to eat my tea here and you make me leap out of my seat to answer the landline because you can’t wait 30 seconds for a reply. why#so i answer the phone and she sounds like she’s been crying so i’m like ‘god what’s this thing she needs me to print… a ransom note??’#why was it a template for a gingerbread house. so i’m like ‘yes of course i’ll print it. are you okay though’ she says she has an upper#respiratory infection. i’m like ‘that’s fucked up. i’ll print your thing but are you sure you should be cooking for people’#she’s like ‘thank you so so much ellen i’m so sorry for putting you out; i’ll pay you’ and like. here’s where i will freely admit that i was#being a dick. but i have told her a million times before to STOP offering me money for random stupid favours like printing literally one (1)#document for her or giving her kid a bag of crisps to keep her quiet or something. it drives me crazy when she does this because it makes me#feel like she’s trying to imply that i’m that much of a frugal penny pincher that i’m going to sit here and calculate how much a piece of#paper and a millilitre of ink costs me and charge for that miniscule sum. or like i view our friendship as transactional or something#which could not be further from the truth. like bitch i’d give you a kidney no questions asked. stop offering me money to print your shit#and she’s soooo apologetic over it too; she’s like apologising for being alive. and the self flagellating bullshit drives me CRAZY#like it does not cause me any trouble whatsoever to open one singular application on my phone and click two buttons. my printer is plugged#in 24-7 because that’s how it tells HP when it’s out of ink and to send more. a service i pay 99p a month for mind you. i don’t notice#i don’t care. most of the time i make my granddad buy my printer paper because he shows up here unannounced asking me to print dozens#of flyers from his club and doesn’t otherwise offer payment so i’m like ‘well can you buy some paper since i now have none’#so what i said to her was ‘if you offer me money one more time i’m never printing anything for you again’ which i think bamboozled her#i was like ‘i’m printing it now. pick it up whenever you want just don’t offer money’ she’s like ‘but i was just thinking—‘#‘DON’T FUCKING THINK’ yeah that was an overreaction possibly. but i was just like. i don’t want to hear your justification for why you want#to give me 5p or something for printing your stupid gingerbread house template. don’t tell me it. i disagree with it#if you want to pay for your shit to be printed that fucking badly you can go to the library#so anyway she messaged me saying ‘i’m not coming over because i don’t want to argue’ i didn’t reply but i was literally just sitting there#thinking… we don’t have to argue. i’ve told you my terms. just don’t offer me money for stupid little favours and you won’t hear an argument#from me. that’s all#i honestly feel like she’s just offering me money because she knows it makes me mad. she loves annoying me. well she’s succeeded#AITA? yes but also for the love of godddd will you just LISTEN to me. if it’s a joke it’s not fucking funny at this point it’s just annoying#personal#rant

Care to teach me? (Charles Leclerc)
Summary: sleeping can become quite difficult when it is hot and you have the object of your fantasies less than a meter away.
Warnings: +18, MDNI. Masturbation, fingering.
Words: 1k
You and Charles were inseparable. You met each other when you were playing in the park and he offered you his cars to play after he had pushed you off by accident. You weren’t really similar, him being the social butterfly he is and you hiding behind your mother’s legs every time you saw a stranger. It didn’t really matter, because you found in each other a long-needed comfort.
The sound of the sea and the city filled the comfortable silence in Charles’s Monaco’s apartment as you two got ready to go to sleep. It was normal for you to share a bed, given how close you are, and tonight was no different. You slipped into your pajamas, while Charles' back was turned to give you some privacy. When you finished, you made your way to his bed and got under the covers. He followed you getting on the other side of the bed before turning the lights off.
“Good night” he said sleepily.
“Night” you answered, turning your back to him.
You spent almost an hour turning around, but it was too hot for you to fall asleep. You spent another 30 minutes laying flat on your back, wondering if you should go to the kitchen to get some water or maybe open the window, but you came to the conclusion that you weren’t even tired. An idea came to your mind of how to get tired easily, but you immediately discarded it.
Absolutely not.
Even though it always worked for you, you had your limits. You weren’t going to masturbate while Charles was sleeping just one meter away.
You found your best friend attractive, objectively he was, every girl would admit it.
You had given some thought to it. The idea of having sex with Charles played in your mind more than you would like to admit, but of course you never told him. You would just die of embarrassment. You would see girls posting about him on social media or even flirting with him at the club, but he barely paid attention to them. His eyes would always find you, an angelic smile adorning his face. However, you found yourself wanting him to see you as something more than your best friend.
Thinking about him at the paddock after a race, sweat covering his skin, had your hand moving down to your underwear. It felt so wrong, but the more memories that came to your mind, the more you wanted to keep doing it. You removed your pants and moved your panties to the side, letting your fingers run through your folds. You started rubbing your clit in circles, closing your eyes at the relief. You thought about how his hair had got longer during the break, how it would be to run your hands through it and grab it pushing his head between your thighs, hunger in his eyes.
You didn’t even notice you started squirming, and definitely didn’t notice the man next to you waking up. You were immersed in your vision, eyes still closed and fingers moving.
“Chérie” you froze when you heard his voice, and stopped moving, hoping he wouldn’t notice what you were just doing. “What are you doing down there?”
“I’m just trying to get comfortable,” you replied.
“And are you comfortable with your hand down your pants?” the lights were off, but you'd bet anything that your face was completely red.
“I thought you were sleeping” you refused to make eye contact, your back still turned to him. He let out a laugh and you felt him moving closer, your back on his shirtless chest.
“Is that better?” you stayed silent. “Would you tell me what you were thinking about?”
“Nothing” you were quick to answer, but of course he didn’t believe you.
“Let me ask again, who you were thinking about that made you touch yourself while you are just in the same bed as me”
“I said no one” He sighed.
“Well whoever it was wasn’t doing it”
“What’s that supposed to mean” you finally turned to him.
“If it was actually working you wouldn’t be so quiet”
“I think I know how to masturbate, thank you for your concern” you fought back.
“I’m not saying otherwise, I just think that you need some help if you want to achieve something” you let out a gasp when you realized what he meant.
“Care to teach me?” a sudden confidence grew inside you.
“Only if you let me,” he answered. You felt his hand going to yours, which was still in your clit. He moved it away so he could replace it with his own, rubbing circles as you had been doing just a few minutes before. He picked up some speed, making you let out a little moan.
“Just like that,” you said. He moved so he could have better access, but then moved his hand away. You whined at the loss of contact, but it was only before he put one of his fingers inside you, feeling the cold metal of his rings where you were most sensible. He pumped it in and out, relentless. He added a second one and his thumb started working on your bud.
The other hand reached your face, making you look at him while you grinded against his fingers. He was hitting the spot that had you seeing stars. You always imagined it would be good but feeling it was on another completely different level.
“Does it feel good, sweetheart?” he whispered in your ear. You answered with a moan, not being capable of building up a coherent sentence. “Use your words princess” he demanded.
“F-fuck, yes, please go faster” he obeyed your request, taking you to the edge. “I’m gonna cum Charles”
“Come on, I wanna feel you cum around my fingers”, he said in a low voice. You reached your high as you yelled his name, but that didn’t make him stop, as he was still moving his fingers inside you.
“Feel better now?” he asked smugly.
You did in fact feel better, but it wasn’t enough. Now you craved even more of him.

over 30 years old - @wolfstarmicrofic - words: 803
“They like you,” said Sirius as he watched Remus intently over the brim of his glass. An hour ago, the kitchen had been filled with voices, but now it was just him and Remus left, like it had been the previous night before the Weasleys had all arrived at Grimmauld Place. The fire danced on the amber liquid in his glass, illuminating the left side of his face and painting the kitchen in specks of red and gold. He took a sip, slowly, still watching Remus. “They respect you.” He lowered his glass, lips twitching. “Of course they got the completely wrong measure of you.”
Remus hummed, eyes set on the fireplace. “That wouldn’t be my fault.”
“Of course not,” said Sirius. The smile was audible in his voice.
“It isn’t.” Remus barely suppressed his own smile. “I used ‘Waddiwasi’ on Peeves on one of my first days,” he said, eyes flickering to Sirius. He thought of third year when it had been a marble, not gum, that Sirius, not Remus, had shot up Peeves’ nose.
If Sirius’s expression was anything to go by, he thought of the exact same thing. “I’m sure he had it coming.”
“He messed with Filch’s broom cupboard,” said Remus, fighting the urge to fiddle with the strap of his tea bag, an urge that left him a little confused. To say the last fourteen years had been challenging was like saying Dumbledore was a rather talented wizard, but at least adulthood had made him a little calmer. He hadn’t picked at his nails for over a decade and hadn’t even felt the urge to. But now… Now it felt like his fingers were twitching with the need to do something. And he didn’t know why.
Sirius just raised an eyebrow. “And?”
Remus exhaled and the twitching in his fingers stopped. He was sure he would have got away with his explanation with anyone else. But this single word, this simple syllable, tugged at something inside him.
Of course they got the completely wrong measure of you.
And Remus bent like a blade of grass, and willingly so. He smiled at Sirius and took a sip of tea. “He called me loony, loopy Lupin,” he told his mug.
“How dare he,” said Sirius, but there was no heat in it. His eyes had gone completely soft. “I should think that nickname would be reserved for a very exclusive club.”
Remus smiled to himself, thinking of first year when Peeves had come up with that nickname after having watched Remus have a conversation with one of the portraits - Sir Cadogan, at that. How James had made an effort to 'reclaim' it, never mind that there was no reclaiming a nickname that had never been Remus’s before. How Sirius had joined in eagerly. How both he and James had got really mad when some other Gryffindor had dared call Remus it. How Peter-
“Very exclusive indeed,” said Remus, forcing himself to lift his eyes again. Sirius was still looking at him and had been for a while, as far as Remus could tell. There was a strange flutter of nerves in his stomach, and it made no sense that it was there now because now it was just the two of them.
This was just Sirius.
Remus pushed it down, chalked it up to the exhausting evening they had had with too many people, and to narrowly escaping death during their ‘cleaning,’ then said, “But I’d appreciate it if its remaining member wouldn’t pick up that old habit. I feel it might undermine the respect thing a bit if I was called ‘loony Lupin.’”
“I won’t,” said Sirius without missing a beat. “As long as I get to keep ‘Moony’.”
It was the first time either of them addressed the nickname thing that seemed to be drifting between them ever since Sirius had called him ‘Moony’ a few days ago when they had still been back at Remus’s and not in this gloomiest of all houses.
The thing was that it wasn't just a nickname. The names were heavy with memories of better, brighter times when it hadn’t just been the two of them left. They sounded like James’s laughter, tasted like the Halloween feast at Hogwarts, felt like a warm ray of sunshine down by the lake.
But they weren’t only happy memories - as with everything, it came at a price. Two other names, one of which they never used, clung to them. And still, Sirius asked him whether…
Sirius raised his eyebrows, very slightly. But enough to emphasize.
This was a statement. A choice and a promise alike.
It won’t drag us apart. Not this time.
Remus met his eyes. The strange flutter was back. And the words fell from his lips. “You know you’ll always have ‘Moony.’”

7. Do You Miss Me?
Pairing: Paige Bueckers x Azzi Fudd
Warnings: None that I know of but please let me know!
a/n: We're kind of approaching the end so please give me requests on what I should write next! Thanks for the love, besties <3 It means more than yous know!
New Years Eve
The balloons and confetti fill the air while bottles of booze litter the table. The UConn Womens’ Basketball team; along with the rest of the UConn athletes, have taken their New Year's festivities to a club. It’s loud and packed. It makes the perfect distraction which is what Azzi needs.
After her nauseating conversation with Caroline, the curly-haired girl was left to face the truth about her relationship with Paige. It’s fragile but teetering. Every interaction pushes it closer to being destroyed; yet it sits on edge, slightly wobbly, but intact. Azzi knows she’s to blame for the current state of their friendship. Though they’ve had rough patches, she never thought it would get this bad. The pair haven’t had a real conversation in weeks; both doing everything they could to avoid the other. In the three conversations they have had, they argue. It’s exhausting, but Azzi is grateful for the disagreements. It means that there’s still some fight left in Paige. Some fight left for them.
Despite how happy she is to be fighting with the blonde, she wishes that they were making up more. The brown-eyed girl has missed her counterpart over the last month. The two don’t have designated time to spend together anymore, don’t go out of their way to borrow the other’s clothes, or simply just cuddle. Azzi misses Paige. It’s not a new concept as their entire friendship is based on missing each other but Azzi is desperate to have the blue-eyed girl near her. She misses the presence of her best friend more than anything.
She wonders if Paige misses her too.
Though she imagines that the blonde-haired girl doesn’t because across the club, Paige is making her way to Cameron. Azzi watches as the football player notices the blonde making her way to him. Azzi watches as she slips into the space next to him; pressing her side into his as his arm snakes around her shoulders protectively.
It’s a nauseating sight that results in Azzi throwing back her shot and quickly ordering another one. And another one. And another one.
“You should slow down,” Caroline says as she sits down next to Azzi. The sentiment, while appreciated, does nothing to deter the curly-haired girl from ordering another shot. She’s being irresponsible, this much she knows, but she needs to forget. She needs to not feel. “It’s New Years Eve. I’m allowed to get drunk.” the girl grumbles out. It’s hard over the music but her teammate hears every word. “You are,” Caroline agrees, “But New Years isn’t why you’re sitting at the bar, drinking alone.”
Azzi turns to face the couple on the other side of the club. She watches as they talk to one of the football player’s teammates. Paige laughs at something and throws her head back. Azzi wonders if Cam loves that sound the way she does. Or does he prefer her giggle that she probably lets out when they engage in banter?
These thoughts and more occupy the curly-haired girl’s mind more than she’d care to admit. The thoughts alone are suffocating but to watch is like dying a thousand deaths. So Azzi doesn’t bother with a response. Instead, she downs her shot before heading to the floor to dance. The younger girl isn’t sure how long. All she knows is that Waka Flocka turned into Pitbull which turned into Lady Gaga. It doesn’t matter though, because Paige is still connected at the hip to Cam, and Azzi still wishes that was her instead.
-
Azzi is drunk. The younger girl is standing in the club bathroom with 30 minutes to midnight trying to get herself together. She came in to use the bathroom but that proved to be difficult when she couldn’t even stand straight. The basketball player eventually got that much figured out but couldn’t really do much else besides hold onto the sink for balance.
The brown-haired girl had just about gotten a hold on herself when a group of girls walk in. Two immediately head towards the big mirror by the sink Azzi is currently occupying. The other two girls head into the stalls but the conversation between the group never falters; which is the only reason Azzi is able identify one the girls as Riley. In fact, the volleyball player is looking at her through the mirror.
Azzi is drunk but she isn’t drunk enough for this. She supposes she can’t be surprised. Riley is a volleyball player and most of the UConn athletes are at this club tonight. Still, seeing your ex that broke up with you because of your feelings for your best friend who you still aren’t with is very uncomfortable. Talking to them even more so.
“Hi, Az-”
“Hey, Rile-”
They both start but before laughing. The tensitiy in the air lessens and the athletes watch as the other’s body relaxes. Suddenly, talking to each other isn’t that bad but then again, it could be the alcohol.
“How are you?” Azzi asks.
“I’m good. How are you? How’s Paige?” Riley replies. The answer must reveal itself on Azzi’s face though, because the volleyball player’s eyes widen before she snaps her head in the direction of the taller girl. “You aren’t together?”
The basketball player shakes her head no and Riley’s eyes widen even more. “Listen, I know I said a lot of things that night but I never would have imagined that you two didn’t figure it out.” Azzi laughs in response. “Well, it doesn’t help that she asked if I have feelings for her and I walked out of her apartment.” The statement earns her a slap on the arm and a scolding from the shorter athlete next to her.
“Why would you do that? It’s obvious that you do!”
“I’m scared,” Azzi starts. Perhaps it’s the alcohol that allows her to be this open because her next words have never been spoken. “I’m fucking terrifed of loving her. I’m terrified of her loving me. Every single time I look into her eyes, she’s got these intense emotions pooling in them and I don’t know how to handle that. Paige looks at me like I’m her forever. She looks at melike I can hang the stars and the moon. Fuck, she’s just so intense and sometimes I worry about it being too much. Sometimes I worry about being too little.”
“You’re a coward, a liar, and a thief.” Riley states. She says it even toned and softly as if all three of those words were not insults of some kind.
“Excuse me?” Azzi exclaims. The insult clearly catching her off guard.
“It’s the truth,” Riley shrugs. “You’re a coward, a liar, and a thief. Until you begin to work on that, allowing yourself to be happy will be hard. You’re self sabotaging and you don’t even know it.”
The basketball player isn’t exactly sure how to respond. She watches as her ex moves toward the bathroom door before turning around.
“Once you figure it out, I hope you get everything you want.” and then she’s out the door. Azzi shakes her head and checks her phone for the time. She tries not to give what Riley said another thought, at least not while she’s this intoxicated.
There’s five minutes until midnight.
Azzi walks out of the bathroom and heads towards the section occupied by her teammates, and Cam. A bitter feeling creeps up Azzi’s throat and invades her senses. Would Paige kiss him at midnight? It’s a thought that produces sickening images in the younger girls’ mind. Though as she reaches the section, all she can hear is her ex’s voice in the back of her mind.
I hope you get everything you want.
While she isn’t sober enough to work out whatever Riley thinks she needs to, Azzi can accept that she should after whatever she wants. It is a new year afterall.
The words repeat themselves as the girls flood the floor along with the other athletes to start the countdown. Azzi can feel the tequila and adrenaline pumping through her veins as she watches Paige separate herself from the football player to be with their friends.
10
Should she do it? Azzi thinks she passes through the club to get to Paige.
9
Maybe she shouldn’t. She continues walking anyway.
8
Coward. Azzi gets closer.
7
Liar. And closer.
6
I hope you get everything you want this year.
5
They’re standing face to face.
4
Azzi pulls Paige closer.
3
“What are you doing?” Paige exclaimed
2
“Getting everything I want”
1
Happy New Year!
Azzi crashes her lips onto Paige.

Unlocking Inner Pig
Louis was your average 28 year old man, to an extent. He had a pretty normal office job that got him enough money to live a comfortable but simple life. He lived in a mid rise flat nothing too special. He still occasionally slept around with men he’d see at clubs. However Louis still looked very young for his age. As he was approaching 30 the skinny guy still looked fresh into university. His body had not changed at all since he was 18. He would look at his friends and see them all with hairy chests bigger arms, even a few of them with big bloated bellies that pushed at the old shirts they wore. Louis would go home and look at his skinny frame. Yes he could still see his abs but his arms were so small. His legs and ass so tiny. He longed to be bigger.
One hot summer evening, Louis and his friends were all relaxing in the park. They laid on their shirts catching a tan on their bodies. Louis stood out as the skinniest one there. He looked over at his friends. The odd one or two of them were quite in shape, still sporting faint abs and some muscle in their chest but the rest all had rounded soft hairy guts that guttered up to the sky as they lay back soaking in the sun. Louis looked at his own body, feeling his ribs and bones instead of muscle. One of Louis friends turned over to him and saw him rubbing his body. “You alright mate?” His friend Liam said. Louis took a long sigh and looked at Liam. “Not really. I just feel so small and skinny all the time. Especially laying next to all you guys.” Louis said gesturing to the rest of the group. “You should count your self lucky mate. We all getting fat” Liam said slapping his belly “and you look like you never left uni.” “Well that’s the issue. I’m nearly 30 and still look 18. I just wanna be bigger.”
Liam took a long hard look at his mate. He looked him up and down and then down again really taking in his skinny body. “Well I could always try and help you out if you want. Try and put on some weight if that’s what you want.” Louis face lit up. “Really you’d help me out?” “Of course. If that’s what you want.”
“YES YES PLEASE”
After the boys had finished laying out in the sun all afternoon, they decided to walk back home and settle down for the evening. On the walk back, Louis and Liam decided to split from the group and go into a small fast food place. Louis looked up at the menu then looked at Liam waiting for his input. “You sure you want this mate? We are getting old enough now where a second on the lips is a lifetime on the hips” Liam said with a slight worrying glance at his slim friend. Louis nodded and the two boys stepped forward to order. “Two portions of chips please and a triple cheese burger please” Liam said handing over a tenner and a fiver to the man at the counter. After about 5 minutes a small bag was placed on the counter and then two men carried on their walk back to Louis house. Once they got in Liam placed the food on the table and then went to get a drink from the fridge. He saw that Louis had a pack of beers and decided to grab them. He placed them on the table too. Louis sat down and unpacked his food order. He started picking at the chips as Liam grabbed a beer and opened it up, taking a large swig from it. “Make sure you have these bud” Liam said patting the pack of beer. “Good for building you up.” Louis reached over and grabbed a beer, cracking it open and taking a sip. Liam sat down and the two boys were just chatting about everyday stuff as Louis made his way through the food. Louis didn’t show any sign of being full until he got most the way though his triple burger. As he reached the last few bites he really started to feel it. He stretched and groaned and started to rub his extended gut. He tried to ignore it but the mounting pressure in his stomach was distracting him from his conversation. Just as he was about to give up, Louis felt a rumble in his stomach. He placed a hand on the top of his gut as it trembled. He felt something rise up making his way back to his mouth. His lips parted and a huge belch interrupted conversation. Louis went slightly red in the face. “Better out then in mate” Liam sniggered “you’ll have a bit more room to finish off your food now.” Liam was right. Louis belly felt much more at ease and he finished off the rest of food and chugged back the rest of his beer. The two boys spent the rest of the night getting slowly more drunk as they got through the whole pack of beers. By 2am Louis was passed out on the sofa. Liam looked over at his skinny friend. His thin torso was stretched out pushing against his shirt. Liam knew that his mates skinny body would never last now. Once a man gets a taste for going to bed bloated and full they always will. It won’t be long till Louis joins the ranks of other 30 year olds with a belly.
The next morning, Louis woke feeling groggy from all the food and beer he’d eaten. He stretched upwards and collapsed back on the sofa. His hands moved to his stomach which still felt kind of bloated. He rubbed it slowly as he started to wake up more. He couldn’t see Liam in the sun filled living room and assumed he’d gone home when he had passed out. Louis kept rubbing his belly. Thoughts raced through his mind. Thoughts of his gut getting bloated again. Getting more full than ever before. Then thoughts of the bloat turning to soft squishy fat. Rubbing his belly and watching his fingers squish deep into his fattening gut. As these thoughts raced he moved his hand further down, pushing it through the waist band of his boxers to touch his morning wood. The thought of his dick slowly disappearing from sight as his belly grows bigger and bigger. He starts to rub his cock slowly as more thoughts of his chest swelling up, his ass blowing through his jeans, his thighs shredding his boxers all filled his mind. For some reason after last night he became obsessed with the idea of getting fat instead of big and muscly. One night of stuffing his face and he was took with the idea of growing jiggly all over. He started to pump his dick harder and faster, letting out a few moans as the idea of him becoming overweight filled his mind. He couldn’t hold it in anymore. He was moaning so loud as he got closer to climax. His cock was ready to blow. The door the living room started to be pushed open. Louis looked over but it was too late. His cock exploded all over his belly and he moaned loudly as Liam stepped through the doorway with a large plate of food. Louis quickly tried to cover his belly with his shirt only for the cum to soak it and show through. “Omg I’m so sorry you saw that. I thought you’d gone and I was just letting off some steam and-“
“Louis it’s fine lol. We all get like that don’t worry bout it. Just wished you’d given me a bit more warning before I walked in haha” Liam laughed as he sat down on the sofa and placed the large McDonald’s breakfast order in front of Louis. Louis felt so embarrassed, rubbing his shirt to try and distract from the cum that had soaked through it. “Bloody hell Louis just take your top off I don’t care. I’ve seen worse. Bloody Niall looks like a hairy baby elephant every time he gets shirtless you look fine.” Louis was still apprehensive to take his top off but decided to do so, rubbing the rest of the cum off his stomach as he did. “Now dig into this. Thought you’d be hungry this morning and you wanted big so here. Enjoy.” On the plate were two bacon egg and sausage McMuffins, 3 hash browns, 2 breakfast wraps and a large milk shake. “I don’t think I’m that hungry to be honest.” Louis said still covering his bloat in shame. “I think I’ll eat later on toda-“ he was interrupted by the sound of his own stomach rumbling loudly to the smell of the breakfast food. “I think your stomach thinks different eh big guy? Just tuck in.” Liam said standing up. “I’m gonna take a shower. I’ll be surprised if any of that is left when I get back” he said under his breath as he left the room, pulling off his shirt which displayed his own figure. His soft stomach slightly jiggled as he walked, covered on thick hair, going from the top of his jiggly chest to the waist band of his boxers. Louis looked at his hairless, fatless body and a pang of jealously coursed through his veins. He grabbed the McMuffin and stuffed it into his mouth. The routine of Louis stuffing his mouth full of fast food continued for many weeks. Liam would usually come round once a week after a whole group gathering and check up on Louis’ progress, just with asking simple questions making sure he was eating big. The first evening of stuffing his belly had awoken something in Louis. He now couldn’t stop eating. If he was doing anything he was doing it eating food. His inner pig was out for good now and he couldn’t contain it. His body now started to show signs of change happening. His once toned skinny stomach had melted away. He now had a soft lower belly, a spate tire that wrapped around his lower body. It pushed out over the waist band of his boxers and was obviously seen through any shirt. His chest started to soften too, his nipples are pushed outwards growing in size and softness. Slowly they began to droop onto his growing gut. The rest of his body saw changes too. His arms thicker up, his ass had doubled and his legs also began to touch as he walked. By the end of summer he had transformed his summer bod already into a dad bod so quickly. By the end of summer, the group of lads thought it be best to go shopping for some winter clothes as the weather started to drop quickly. Louis showed up with a hoody over his body, hiding the changes. After looking around the shop for a bit they needed to try on their new clothes. In the changing rooms they all went and all got changed. One of the more in shape boys left his changing room first and all the boys looked at his new outfit, all poking their heads out of their changing rooms, or even standing out just in their boxers to get a look. Here is when one of the boys called out about Liams body.
Liam had been getting softer for a while now so that wasn’t news to anyone, but since spending so much time with Louis and his fattening routine, Liam had also packed on the weight. His belly now poked out to the point it sagged slightly over his boxers, his chest looking more like tits and his back was lined with rolls leading the eye to the dump truck of an ass he had grown. As the attention went onto Liam one of the boys went up to him and shook its belly telling him how fat he’d gotten. “Age has gotten to you now huh fat boy?” ”Your not young forever look at that belly” “I remember when you had a six pack on school.” “You fat fuck what have you done to your self!?” The boys hurled jokingly abuse at Liam. Liam took it lightly only going slightly red, and even joining in on the mocking, shaking his belly and taking handfuls of his hairy fat gut. However Liam got a glimpse of Louis body. He still had his jeans on but his tank top was sitting tight across his bloated gut. Usually he can get away with his gain not being noticed but the fact he’d stripped down to his tank top and also just ate a family sized meal before coming out made his soft belly look much bigger. Liam locked eyes with Louis and grinned menacingly.
“Omg look at Louis. He’s finally a fat fuck.” Liam pointed at Louis as he shouted that. Louis was in shock. He never thought he’d point it out to the group his weight gain. The boys all wiped their heads around to see if what Liam was saying truth. To their surprise, the once skinny man had in fact developed a fully fledged belly. “Omg what happened to you?” “You FINALLY got fat? Fuck” “Holy shit dude you let your self go FAST.” Liam had successfully turned the abuse off of him and onto Louis. As Louis stood there getting poked and slapped and jiggled he put on a brave face, for deep inside he was absolutely livid at Liam. Liam just stood there grinning watching as Louis was played with and mocked.
That evening when Louis and Liam started walking back to Louis house, they walked in silence. Louis was so mad at Liam for exposing his weight gain and telling the whole group about it just because he was insecure that he got fat too. They both walked into Louis house and sat on the sofa. Louis visibly displayed his anger on his face. Liam didn’t understand what was wrong. “So you wanna order some food then?” Liam pipped up after an uncomfortable silence.
“Oh you just wanna fatten me up some more so ya?” Louis spat back at him. Liam looked confused and made a confused noise at him. “Oh don’t act all incident. You’ve been coming doing here every week buying me fattening foods and telling to stuff my gut full. It’s your fault I’ve got tits for pecs now. It’s your fault my hips don’t fit into jeans. It’s your fault I’m carrying around this FAT FUCKING BELLY!” Louis ripped off his tank top and grabbed his gut shaking it. He was red in the face he got so angry. After shacking his belly in Liams face, Louis collapsed back into his sofa seat. “I never even wanted to get fat. I wanted to get bigger. You’re just fucked in the head and fattened me up for your own sick and twisted fantasy.”
Liam had enough of this. He stood up. “You didn’t want this huh? So it wasn’t you I caught wanking off to your own full fat stomach. It isn’t you that stuffs your face six out of seven nights a week. It isn’t you that looks in the mirror every morning grinning as you realise you’re getting closer and closer to finally busting your fat ass through your old underwear. It’s not my fault you regret exchanging your twink body for some fat hogs.” Louis looked at Liam with his mouth slightly agape. Liam now pulls off his shirt too and grabs a handful of his huge gut. “Do you think I want this too? Huh? Do you think I wanted to get fucking obese just cos you wanted to get fat. No but it’s my fault cos I’m greedy and could resist eating big like you do. At least I admit when I’m a fucking pig instead of pinning the blame on some other hog like you.” Liam grabbed his top and started to walk out the room. “I hope you find peace being a fat fuck. I’m leaving. Gonna get a maccies to release the stress now.” Liam mumbled as he stomped out the house and slammed the door. Louis sat there in shock. What had just happened.
It took Louis about a week to process what happened that evening. Him and Liam hadn’t spoken since and the other boys made no effort in getting the two to hang out together. Louis was thinking about what Liam had said about him wanted to get fat. Louis was confused. He enjoyed getting fat but was that want he wanted? He felt such same when everyone noticed his fattened body. Surely he would be proud of it if he truly wanted to be fat. Louis came to the conclusion that he wanted to give the gym a go. See if being muscly was the craving he desired.
For the autumn months, Louis spent a lot of time alone. He’d still eat pretty big but mostly focused on hitting the gym hard everyday. He needed to work off that fat Liam had forced onto him. It took time but eventually the spare tire was eventually shaved down to a slight gut, hardly noticeable compared to his bigger arms and tighter chest. After all this time he had started to achieve what he wanted to achieve. He was bigger finally and even his body hair started to come through. But he still felt unsatisfied with this transformation. He caught him self longingly staring at fat hogs in the gym that desperately tried to get rid of their bulk. He craved the evenings where he’d be in a food coma and his distended belly was sticking out. He missed the feeling of getting bigger and feeling his clothes hug tight to his body. Was Liam right? Had he always really desired becoming fat and joining the ranks of other men his age. Louis thought of Liam and how he has transformed over the summer and gone from overweight to obese. Louis struggled to contain him self at the thought that maybe he could follow suit. Louis left the gym immediately, still shirtless and in his shorts running to his car. He raced round to the nearest fast food place and ordered a jumbo family sized portion of food. That night he ate like he was the king. As he ate his final chip and came all over his belly he knew this was the life he wanted. He knew he couldn’t rest till he was huge.
Oh how Louis missed this. He missed the feeling of his fat gut pushing his clothes to their limits. He missed rubbing his soft gut to release an earth shattering belch. He missed stepping on the scales and seeing that number rise every single day. Being fat was his calling. He was destined to be a hog and that he would do. Evening after evening he would spend stuffing his face with food. As Christmas came and went he made sure to fill his belly with as much sweet fattening food he could get his hands on. His family were shocked by his weight gain to start with but by the end of his stay were happy that he had finally filled out. One of his uncles had a long conversation to him one evening when everyone had gone to bed. It was just Louis and his uncle sat in the living room sipping on the last few drops of their beers, both men having swollen guts that guttered out in front of them. His uncle told him the story of how when he was in his 20s he was sooooo skinny and nothing he could do would make him out on weight. But just one day the weight started piling on and how it’s never stopped since. Louis looked at his uncle, a very large fella. He always made fun of him self for how fat he’d gotten but it wasn’t till this evening that Louis saw himself in him. He looked down at his softening body and was proud to say he was following in his uncles footsteps.
Soon after Christmas Louis was trying on some clothes when it suddenly hit him that he had grown too fat for them now. He looked at him self in the mirror with his gut pressed so tightly against his shirt he’s surprised he hasn’t ripped through it yet. His belly was empty and already looked soo big. Louis felt the pressure build in his underwear. He couldn’t contain it anymore he needed someone to fatten him up.
Louis had dabbled in some gaining content online and he had heard of grommr” a gaining dating site of sort. He knew in this moment that he may as well give it a go and see if he could get someone over quick to help bust out of his clothes. As his account finished setting up and started searching for feeders in the area. He found a very handsome chap called Harry. His profile was filled with photos of his hard muscly body pressed against fat hogs soft piggy body. He decided to shoot him a quick DM and almost got an instant message back.
-Louis: hey Harry! You look insane and love what you’ve done to those men. Mind filling me up like that?
-Harry: lemme see what I’m working with and I’ll be over in 5.
Louis takes his too off and trousers and lays on the bed in just his size small boxers. They were stretched so tight across his thighs and ass that they were basically see through. Louis snaps a photo of his belly resting on his lap, his chest dropping slightly onto the gut and his love handles pushing his body wider.
-Louis: This enough to work with?
-Harry: Damn. You’re already a fat piggy huh? Well prepare to become a fucking hog when I’m down with you.
No longer than 5 minutes later Louis heard a knock on the door. Louis, still on his underwear, jiggled his way to the door to unlock it. As he opened the door, the man that stood before him was not the one he expected. Harry on his profile had rippling abs, thick strong chest and moved into his big arms. His body was always contrasting the fat ones in the photos so why did the man in front of Louis also look like a fat hog. Harry looked to be around 250lbs of pure fat. His belly pressed tight to his band tshirt that was far too small for him, his love handles peaking out the bottom of the hem. His skinny jeans were skin tight to his thick thighs and fat ass. His double chin was pretty prominent.
Harry could sense the stares he got from Louis. “It’s me Harry! I know I look different than my profile. I did used to be very ripped and in shape but one feeding session the feedee turned into the feeder and I just couldn’t stop going back. Sorry I’m not who you thought I was but I hope you don’t mind this piggy feeding you up?” Louis was overwhelmed with how horny he was now. He pulled Harry in and immediately ripped his clothes off. The two hogs went at each other all day. Harry filling Louis up with as much fattening food as he could get his hands on. Louis was exploring Harry’s insanely sexy large body. They spent all day eating, drinking, touching, and fucking. Louis had never felt anything like this before. The feeling of being so full and having someone else’s full gut pressed against your back as they thrusted deeper into your fattened asshole. He had never felt something so erotic then being stuffed with muffins as he moaned loudly with every thrust into his ass cheeks. Louis thought he couldn’t get more full but once Harry released his load into him, he felt his belly surge forward even more. Louis was left sweating, panting and groaning as he lay on his bed naked and fattened up. Why did he ever wait this long to have sex with a fatty.
Once Harry left Louis did some thinking. He missed Liam. They hadn’t seen each other in nearly a year. Louis imagined Harry being Liam, having his huge hairy body pressed against his. He didn’t even know if Liam was fat anymore. He knew the rest of the boys all kept steadily gaining weight, even the ones that kept in shape started to soften up as we all approached 30. He could only imagine how big Liam could be. Did he ever think of how large Louis could be by now. Even thought Liam was living rent free in Louis mind, he could never reach out after everything he said to him that evening. After all that and for Louis to just get fatter and fatter still, there’s no way Liam would ever forgive him. He had to move on.
So the next 6 months Louis spent with Harry. The two would hook up every week, ensuring that Louis was gaining an appropriate amount of weight every time they met. Their sex was incredible and the results on Louis body, well they spoke for them selves.
Louis had fully transformed into a huge obese man. He never thought this could be possible. He remember back when he was skinny and how desperately he wanted to put on even ten pounds and now he was well known his way to three hundred pounds.
As Christmas came and went and winter final started to turn to spring, the group of lads decided it would be a good time to meet up for a shopping trip, to start their summer wardrobe. When Louis got the text about this meet up, he was skeptical if he was going to go or not. This time a year and a half ago was the last time he had seen most of the boys. He was made fun of last time for sporting a dad bod but now Louis looked like he’s non stop stuffed him self for the past year and a half (which he basically had done). He also thought about Liam and how if he was to show up they might end up fighting again. He didn’t wanna lose his friend again. But even though he was scared to go, Louis agreed. Plus he actually needed more summer clothes, he’s grown out of all of last years ones by nearly one hundred pounds.
The boys all met at the fast food place next to the shops. Liam was one of the last ones to show up. He opened the door to the restaurant and saw that Liam wasn’t there. He was slightly disappointed about this but he didn’t let it get him down. As he approached the table however he did notice how all the other guys around the table seemed to have suffered the same fate as himself. Not one of them resembled the fit toned jocks from their uni days. Every single one was most definitely overweight if not obese. As Louis approached the boys turned around and started shouting. “Look even this skinny thing couldn’t escape obesity.” “Haha Louis look at ya! You’re huge!” “Think he’s the biggest one here hahaha” The boys hadn’t changed. They still poked fun at him for his weight. But Louis didn’t mind it this time. Maybe it was due to the fact that yes he was the biggest one there but they weren’t far behind him. They all were big fat fellas now.
They all sat down and started to order food when the sound of the door to the restaurant sounded. The boys all turned around and Louis heard the yelling of “Liam omg haha look at you!” “Shit dude you let your self go!” “You’ve gotta be nearly 400lbs mate what happened?” Louis turned around and his mouth hit the floor. Liam was huge, beyond huge. Louis couldn’t even imagine how he got that big over that period of time. Louis looked longingly at Liam as Liam locked eyes with him before scanning Louis body up and down. Louis looked down and thought about what Liam would be thinking looking at him. He begged to know what he’d say. Liam sat down and after a few more jokingly jabs at Liams extreme gain, the boys decided to order food.
Louis had never seen so much food get devoured so quickly before in his life. All these fat hungry men polished off their plates in minutes leaving not a crumb. They spent the meal chatting and catching up with each other. Louis and Liam hadn’t interacted once. After the meal was over the fat man group decided to waddle over to the clothes shop. They spent ages joking about the old shirts they used to wear and how their new big bodies would destroy them in seconds now.
The time came for the boys to try on their clothes. They all filed into the changing rooms. Louis had taken off his too and started to put on a button up when he heard the door to his room be opened. He turned around and saw Liam stood there in his underwear. Louis heard began to race at the sight of him. Liams body has just exploded with lard. His belly hung down with his chest sitting on top his big gut. His legs and ass were so thick they couldn’t avoided touching. He truly had transformed into a huge hog of a man he used to be. “I wanna talk Louis” Liam said with a slightly saddened look on his face. Louis just nodded not having the strength to muster up words. “I’ve missed you. I regret how I spoke to you that evening but you had to listen to what I was saying. It wasn’t my fault but I felt so guilty after that night. As you can see I’ve put on a few” with this comment Louis giggled slightly “well maybe more than a few. But I just couldn’t stop eating cos I couldn’t stop thinking about you. I worried that after what I said you’d lose the weight and stop gaining but I’m so happy to see that isn’t true. You look good.”
Louis finally found the words to respond. “You don’t have anything to be sorry for. You were right. I wanted to get fat. And I enjoy being fat. But I also enjoyed you getting fat with me. I’ve missed you making sure I was eating everything, drinking every last beer. But I miss you stuffing your face as well and we’d touch bellies every so often. I missed when we had our little secret to get fat. Obviously now everyone’s fucking huge so no need for the secret part but I’d like to do that again with you. Feel our bodies change together again.” Louis stepped closer to Liam just close enough so their hairs on their bellies brushed slightly. Liam didn’t even think twice before pushing him self onto Louis and passionately making out with him.
After that day Liam and Louis became inseparable. They spent every day together feeding each other pleasing each other making sure they both were loved and fed. Liam gained so much weight he could hardly move and Louis blew up massively. He’d always imagined being big but the size of him now was unimaginable. Now sitting at around 600lbs Louis had become the huge big fat guy he had longed to be in his late twenties. Now on his early thirties he had finally found peace in his life and in his new body and he couldn’t be happier with his morbidly obese partner Liam. After years of confusion and gaining the two finally lived fattening ever after.

Guilty - William Afton x Reader
To be a lawyer is to adhere to a strict code of ethics.
A/N: Slight AU, but not really. This is kind of tame compared to other William fics I have planned, but I thought it’d be fun to make Reader more dominant and less innocent than usual! This has a bit of build up, but it pays off ofc ;) You can imagine William to be in his 40s/50s like he is in the movie, or 30s as he would’ve been during his killing spree.

Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza was in a mess. A bunch of children had just gone missing - presumed dead - and there were even rumblings of a lawsuit from the victims’ families. It certainly wasn’t the case an up-and-coming lawyer usually received, but had the potential to be the one that cemented your career.
“I must say, I’m rather surprised you chose me to help you out,” you said to the man who was sitting at the table as you closed the door behind you. Your office was by no means large, but it was sizable enough to make you feel important.
“Why’s that?” He asked, cocking his head, his brows raising above the rims of his glasses. You’d done your pre reading; the man’s name was William Afton, a humble businessman who’d started the pizzeria and had come to you for help. He seemed well meaning enough.
“Well,” you began, adjusting your skirt as you sat down, “I’m not the typical face you’d imagine when picturing a bloodthirsty lawyer. Especially someone like you…”You said carefully. It was no secret that men either overlooked you, or went out of their way to hire you for your ‘assets’. “I find they’re usually set in their ways about having a woman deal with their issues,”
The man shrugged, a small smirk creeping to the side of his face.
“Doesn’t bother me. I have a daughter of my own,”
“Oh,” you smiled, pushing your chair in as you fixed the paperwork around you. “Is she…?”
“She’s a little younger than you,” he said simply. “I make it a mission to practise what I preach at home,”
You smiled, and he smiled back, his skin wrinkling ever so slightly around his eyes and sides of his mouth. He was put together and certainly likeable; only driving you to want to help him out even more. you were quite comfortable, which was good as it was likely that the rest of the office, bar the receptionist and the interns, would file out over time, leaving you alone with him in your assigned wing.
“I suppose we should get started. First — Would you like a cup of coffee?”
/
“…In conclusion, I suggest you speak to this PR rep, he’s excellent,” you said, sliding a card across the table. “For now, our plan is to go ahead with the statement, and hold off on any retaliation,” you continued, making a few notes as you did. “Cooperate with the police, and let me handle things — But, if there’s anything I should know, it’s best you tell me…” you finished, looking up at him from across the table, your eyes meeting his own blue ones.
William smirked. His focus on the task had dwindled in and out over the past hour and a half, having watched the way you explained things with striking confidence, yet bit your pen childishly before writing things down. He couldn’t help but admire a woman with confidence, and it certainly helped that it wasn’t misplaced. You were good at your job. Perhaps too good.
He wondered how you’d ended up here. Young, attractive, yet closed off in a building with stuffy businessmen on a Friday night. You should’ve been at the club; dressed in your sluttiest attire, making out with random guys whilst you split Margaritas on yourself, eventually taking them back home and fucking their brains off. He wondered if you were the dominant or submissive type; if you liked to take charge and ride in cowgirl position, or into the classic missionary, arms above your head as you moan and whimper for more. You might’ve been good at your job, but it was impossible that you hadn’t fucked any of the seniors in the office during your time.
More importantly, he wondered if you’d ever slept with your clients. After all, it wasn’t as if they were in his calibre; likely some shady businessmen who’d moved a few pots of money around, or middle-aged men moaning about real estate - none notable enough to ruin your reputation.
This was much different. Far different.
You didn’t know it, but you were face to face with a killer.
“Such as?” he hummed. Of course he knew what you meant, but he just wanted to hear you say it.
“…Anything that could damage your validity should there be a trial,” you said, sitting back in your seat. “Forged bank documents, hoarding evidence, an admission of guilt…”
“You think I had something to do with it?”
You paused, somewhat taken aback by how abrupt he was. Usually people reacted dramatically to accusations (especially ones as callous as this), and yet he was eerily calm, barely even flinching at the mention. It intrigued you, but more disturbingly it made you horny.
“I never said that,” you shrugged, trying to compose yourself. “But, if you did, it could change this situation entirely. Your wife, your daughter - the public - will look at you very differently,”
William chuckled, his leg beginning to bounce in excitement. The mention of his family was quite the mood killer, and yet you acknowledging them turned him on. They weren’t really any more than tools to look like a convincing family-friendly businessman, and yet you seemingly bought into it. In terms of the public, well, he had a big ego for sure, but his libido was bigger. Throbbing, even.
“And what about you?” He said, leaning in and placing his hands under his chin, grinning at the way you shifted under his gaze. It was time to turn the tables.
“Excuse me?” you choked, an uncomfortable feeling beginning to churn in your stomach. There was something in the way that he smiled at you, like he was getting some kind of satisfaction from making you squirm. Perhaps you’d been wrong about him. Perhaps there was something deeper.
“Will you look at me any differently?” he insisted. You paused for a moment before shaking your head.
“Absolutely not, Mr Afton. It’s my duty to be impartial,”
So prim and proper. It was time to blur the boundaries.
“Tch,” he scoffed before bursting into laughter. “Come on! That’s what they all say. It’s human nature to judge,”
You rolled your eyes, tossing your leg over the other as you began to drum your fingertips on your desk impatiently. This was usually the part where whoever you were talking to stopped to talk down to you. William could tell you were agitated, and he loved the way your brows were beginning to furrow and lips scrunch into a pout. He wondered how they tasted. Much more how they felt.
“It’s also human nature to feel discomfort when running over time,” you snapped, closing your files with haste. “This session is over, Mr Afton,”
So feisty. Repression had clearly done a number on you.
It was a blatant sign for him to move on, and yet he remained firmly in his seat, watching as you got up to put your files away, skirt slightly crumpled around your legs from how long you’d been sitting. You noticed this and pulled it down, turning to face the man yet again and leaning over the table, palms flat as you rested your hands on either side.
You were rather close to him, and if anyone walked in it would seem sketchy. It didn’t help that he was quite handsome; with rugged yet refined features, a slowly greying goatee and bright eyes that were somewhat hidden by his large glasses. The longer that you stared at him, the more you felt weakened under his gaze.
“Can I help you, Mr Afton?”
“You can,” he said, and you raised a brow for him to continue. He felt his cock begin to harden and heart beat as he worked his way up to the moment. Yes, you were a lawyer, but the circumstances meant that you were game to react rather abruptly.
A killer and a lawyer in an empty wing, just after hours - doors shut with no one to hear a scream? It was the perfect scenario for a crime.
“I have something to declare…” he began, and he could barely contain his smile as you raised your brows, mouth slowly falling agape and body subtly recoiling. As if in a trance, you lowered your head further, the eye contact so intense that you could feel a tingle throughout each others’ bodies. You were 90% certain he could hear your heart pounding in your chest.
“…Go on,”
“I think you know what it is,”
With a slow blink, as you tried to ground yourself. You could’ve vomited. In your eyes, murder was a grey area in the realm of self defence, but children were always off limits.
He didn’t even seem to care. He seemed amused, actually.
“O-Okay,” you whispered, swallowing a lump in your throat. “Thank you for telling me. I’ll have to revisit this with fresh eyes in the morning —“
You were so painfully uncomfortable, and yet part of you was aroused. Perhaps it was because you’d never encountered an actual killer, or it was because you were incredibly aware of the blatant fantasy being played out from both sides. He was a wolf; a hunter, bigger and stronger than you and waiting to ravish you like prey.
You were dedicated to holding up the law, fighting for what was fair like a good girl, but sometimes good girls needed to be ravished.
“— What do you think, Miss L/N?” he teased, standing up to match you. “Am I a dead man?”
“No…” you whispered. “I’m going to do what I can…”
“Good,” he smiled, backing away from the desk, the outline of his bulge illuminated from the dimming lights. “That’s why I chose you,”
You gave an awkward nod, haphazardly rushing to hold the door open for him to leave. You held your head down as he passed, and squeezed your eyes shut as you realised he’d stopped in front of you.
Your bodies were painfully close in the tiny doorway. William grinned, and he knew he had you from the moment you looked up at him through your lashes.
“…Are you going to kill me?”
“Not unless you want me to,”
Your lips were on each other in a heartbeat, your hands immediately finding the door and slamming it shut before focusing your attention on the killer at your feet. He wasted no time in effortlessly hoisting you up around his waist, his large hands firm on your hips and thighs as he held you steady, stumbling to find your desk. You returned the favour by holding onto his neck and beginning to grind yourself against his cock, your skirt riding up in the process.
“I bet you’re real happy I walked through those doors, aren’t you?” He teased. “How long have you been waiting for a fucked up guy like me, hmm?” he said, crudely sticking his fingers inside your panties as he placed you on the desk. He grunted at the sensation of your wet heat, hungry as he stuck a third finger inside without warning or hesitation. They were lithe and calloused, and seemed to hit your core immediately upon penetration, causing you to let out a moan.
“I never –” you began, barely unable to form a sentence. “This is nothing —” you insisted, lips leaving his own as you began to fumble with his belt, cupping him through his pants. He was painfully hard. And big. Bigger than most guys your age. “— Just a formality,”
William scoffed, unable to hide his lascivious smile as he began pumping in and out of you, your lips swallowing him to just below his knuckles. Against the creaking of the desk and desperate pants you could hear the wet sound of your juices coating his fingers, sticky and copious as his motions continued; rough yet controlled.
To think, they were the same hands that had murdered all those kids…
You’d taken out his cock now and was massaging the organ in your hands, causing him to hollow out his cheeks, sighing at the contact. It was over five inches, and considerably thick, with a long blue vein running along its underside. As you stroked him, a healthy secretion of precum coated your fingers, indirectly lubing him up further. His thrusts were lazy but needy as he fucked your hand, and with every movement you worked together to guide his cock to your entrance, his bulging tip teasing your folds.
“Fuck,” he whispered, throwing his head back. “You’re ready for me, aren’t you? Naughty girl, you know this goes against your ‘ethics’...” he teased again, and you could barely formulate an answer as his body was now almost completely on top of yours, your back arching as you stabilised yourself with your free hand on the desk.
He chuckled, reaching down to grip the base of his cock as he lined himself at your entrance. For a moment your hands touched, and the excessive hairs and slight wrinkles reminded you of just how much older he was.
“Fuck ethics,” you moaned, and his grin deepened, to the point he was baring teeth. You couldn’t take it anymore, and you were beginning to lose your grip on your panties as you held them to the side.
Next time he should just rip them off.
“William…” you moaned. “Please…”
“Since you asked so nicely,” he laughed, and thrust himself into you, rutting into you like a rabbit. To him the sensation was euphoric, it had been a long time since he’d fucked a fresh pussy, and admittedly his wife was getting rather stale. You were so tight and melded perfectly around him, but most of all you were eager, even if your morals were blatantly backwards.
William’s cock filled you completely, repeatedly hitting the untouched crevices of your cunt that you hadn’t even known existed. He was big, skilled and oh-so painfully perfect - Perfectly bad for you. You could get disbarred, your public reputation ruined, much like the narrative of the man inside you - but with every thrust that drew deeper into your pussy and lustful kiss to your neck and lips none of it seemed to matter. His large hands cupped your sides, moving between your breasts and thighs as he groped and massaged; most importantly making sure that you remained spread wide and available for him as his clothed thighs hit against yours repeatedly. You were high; so high that you barely acknowledged the wedding ring on his left finger, even if you could feel it through the thin material of your blouse.
“You feel so fucking good,” he grunted. “I haven’t fucked a pussy like this in ages. You and I are gonna make such a good team — Ugh — I knew there was a reason I chose you…”
“Fuck…” you groaned. “W-William…”
“Does it bother you that I hurt those kids?” he snarled, beginning to feel his stomach knot up.
You were too lost in your ecstasy to answer.
Did it?
“…Tut, tut. You said you wouldn’t judge me, sweetheart,” he chided. “We were getting along so well…”
“We are. I’m gonna help you,” you said determinedly, eyes unable to shift from his own. You were close.
“I know you are,” he hummed, letting out an intermittent groan as he shut his eyes. “You have no choice. You’re just as guilty as me,”
There was something about those words that immediately sent you over the edge, squeezing your eyes shut and letting out a pornographic moan as you came, your body twinging as the man held your thighs apart, making sure you felt every inch of your shared ecstasy. William had barely found it in him to pull out on time, his heavy load painting a mess on your panties and thighs, but leaving a small trail of cum along the outer lips of your pussy, a subtle but telling reminder of what had happened.
Fixing your crumpled shirt and skirt, you adjusted yourself before hopping off of the desk, hands clasped in front of you.
“So,” you said, clearing your throat. You were surprised it wasn’t sore from your incessant moans. “I’d like to see you at the same time tomorrow. We’ve got a lot of ground to cover.”

Humanizing Your Characters (And Why You Should)
To humanize a character is not to contort an irredeemable villain into the warped funhouse mirror reflection of a hero in the last 30 seconds to gain “narrative subversion” points. To humanize is not to give said villain a tragic backstory that validates every bad choice they make in attempt to provide nuance where it does not deserve to be.
To humanize a character, villain or otherwise, is to make them flawed. Scuff them up, give them narrative birthmarks and scars and imperfections. Whether it’s your hero, their love interest, the comic relief, the mentor, the villain, the rival, these little narrative details serve to make all your literary babies better.
Why should you humanize your characters?
To do this means to write in details beyond those that service the plot, or the themes, or the motifs, morals, foreshadowing, or story. These might be (and usually are) entirely unimportant in the grand scheme of things. So, if I wrote lengthy diatribes on pacing and why every detail must matter, and character descriptions and thematic importance, why am I now suggesting go free-for-all on the fluff?
Just like real people have quirks and tics and beliefs and pet peeves that serve our no greater purpose, so should fictional people. Your average reader doesn’t have the foggiest idea what literary devices are beyond metaphor, simile foreshadowing, and anecdote, but they can tell when the author is using motif and theme and all the syntactical marvels because it reads that much richer, even if they can’t pinpoint why.
And, for shipping fodder, these tiny little details are what help your audience fall in love with the character. It doesn’t even have to be in a book – Taylor Swift (whether you like her or not) never fills her music with sexual innuendo or going clubbing. She tells stories filled with human details like dancing in the refrigerator light. People can simultaneously relate to these very specific and vivid experiences, and say “not that exactly, but man this reminds me of…” and that’s (part of) the reason her music is so popular.
What kinds of narratives need these details?
All of them. Visual media, audio, written, stage play. Now, to what degree and excess you apply these details depends on your tone, intended audience, and writing style. If your style of writing is introspection heavy, noir character drama, you might go pretty heavy on the character design.
But even if you’re writing a kids book with a scant few paragraphs of setting descriptors and internal narration, or you’re drawing a comic book – if you have characters you want people to care about, do this.
Animators, particularly, are very adept at humanizing non-human characters, because, unlike live acting, every single stroke of the pen is there with intent. They use their own reflections for facial references, record their own movements to draw a dance, and insert little bits of themselves into signature character poses so you know that *that* animator did this one.
How to humanize your characters.
I’m going to break this down into a couple sections: Costume/wardrobe, personality, beliefs/behavior/superstitions, haptics/proxemics/kinesics, and voice. They will all overlap and the sheer variety and possibilities are way too broad for me to capture every facet.
Costumes and Wardrobe
In the film Fellowship of the Ring, there’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment where, after Boromir is slain by the Uruk-Hai, Aragorn takes Boromir’s Gondorian vambraces to wear in his honor, and in honor of their shared country. He wears them the rest of the trilogy. The editing pays no extra attention to them beyond a split second of Aragorn tightening the straps, it never lingers on them, never reminds you that they’re there, but they kept it in nonetheless. His actor also included a hunting bow that didn't exist in the book because he's a roamer, a ranger, and needs to be able to feed himself, along with a couple other survival tools.
Aragorn wears plenty of other symbolic bits of costume – the light of the Evenstar we see constantly from Arwen, the Lothlorien green cloaks shared by the entire Fellowship, his re-forged sword and eventual full Gondorian regalia, but all those are Epic Movie Moments that serve a thematic purpose.
Taking the vambraces is just a small, otherwise insignificant character moment, a choice made for no other reason than that’s what this character would do. That’s what makes him human, not an archetype.
When you’re writing these details and can’t rely on sneaking them into films, you have to work a little harder to remind your audience that they exist, but not too often. A detail shifts from “human” to “plot point” when it starts to serve a purpose to the themes and story.
Inconsequentiality might be how a character ties, or doesn’t tie their shoelaces, because they just can’t be bothered so they remain permanent knots and tripping hazards. It might be a throw-away line about how they refuse to wear shorts and strictly stick to long pants because they don’t like showing off their legs. It might be perpetually greasy hair from constantly running their fingers through it with stress, or self-soothing. A necklace they fidget with, or a ring, a belt they never bother to replace even though they should, a pair of lucky socks.
Resist the urge to make it more meaningful than “this is just how they are”. If I’m using the untied shoelaces example – in Spiderverse, this became a part of the story’s themes, motifs, and foreshadowing, and doesn’t count. Which isn’t bad! It’s just not what I’m talking about.
Personality
In How to Train Your Dragon, Toothless does not speak. All his personality comes from how he moves, the noises he makes, and the expressions on his face. There’s moments, like in the finale, when his prosthetic has burned off and Hiccup tells him to hold on for a little bit longer, and you can clearly see on his face that he’s deeply uncertain about his ability to do so. It’s almost off the screen, another blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment. Or the beat of hesitation before he lets Hiccup touch him in the Forbidden Friendship scene. Or the irritated noise he makes when he’s impatiently waiting for Hiccup to stop chatting with his dad because they have a giant dragon to murder. Or when he slaps Hiccup with his ear fin for flying them into a rock spire.
None of those details *needed* to exist to endear you to his character or to serve the scenes they’re in. The scenes would carry on just fine without them. He’s a fictional dragon, yes, but these details make him real.
Other personality tics you could include might be a character who gets frustrated with tedious things very quickly and starts making little inteligible curses under their breath. Or how they giggle when they’re excited and start bouncing on their toes. Maybe they have a tic where they snap their fingers when they’re concentrating, trying to will an idea into existence. Or they stick their tongue out while they work and get embarrassed when another character calls them on it. They roll around in their sleep, steal blankets, drool, leave dishes in the sink or are neurotic with how things must be organized. They have one CD in their car, and actually use that CD player instead of the phone jack or Bluetooth. They sing in the shower, while they cook, or while they do homework, no matter how grating their voice.
They like the smell of new shoes or Sharpies. They hate the texture of suede or velvet or sticky residues. They never pick their socks up. They hate the overhead light in their room and use 50 lamps instead. They hate turning into oncoming traffic or don’t trust their backup camera. They collect Funko Pops and insist there’s always room for more.
And about a million others.
Beliefs, Behaviors, and Superstitions
*If you happen to be writing a story where superstitions have merit, maybe skip this one.* Usually, inevitably, these evolve into character centerpieces and I can’t actually think of one off the top of my head that doesn’t become this beyond the ones we all know. A few comedic examples do come to mind:
The Magic Conch in “Club Spongebob” and the sea-bear-proof dirt circle in “The Camping Episode”
Dean Winchester’s fear and panic-driven actions in “Yellow Fever” and “Sam, Interrupted”
The references to the trolls that steal left-foot socks in How to Train Your Dragon
I’m not a fan of wasting time writing a religious character doing their religious thing when Plot Is Happening, but smaller things are what I’m talking about. Like them wearing a cross/rosary and touching it when they’re nervous. Having a specific off-beat prayer, saying, or expression because they don’t believe in cursing.
The classic ones like black cats, ladders, broken mirrors, salt, sidewalk cracks can all be funny. Athletes have plenty, too, and some of them, particularly in baseball culture, are a bit ridiculous. Not washing socks or uniforms, having a team idol they donate Double Bubble to and also rub their toes. A specific workout routine, diet, team morale dance.
Other things, too. A character who’s afraid to go back downstairs once the lights are off, or fear the basement or the backyard shed. Or they’re really put-off by this old family photo for no reason other than how glassy their eyes look and it’s creepy. They like crystals, dreamcatchers, star signs, tarot, or they absolutely do not under any circumstances.
They believe in all the tried and true ways of predicting the weather like a grizzled old sailor. They believe in ghosts, vampires, werewolves, witches, skinwalkers, doppelgangers, fairies. They talk to the cat statue in their kitchen and named it Fudge Pop. They whisper to the spirit that possessed the fridge so it stops making all that racket, and half the time, it works every time. They wear yellow for good luck or carry a rabbit’s foot. They’re not religious at all but still throw prayers out to whoever’s listening because, you know, just in case. They sit by their window sill and talk to the moon and the stars and pretend like they’re in a music video when they’re driving through the city in the rain.
Haptics, Proxemics, and Kinesics
These are, for all you non-communication and psych majors out there, touch and physical contact, how they move, and how they move around other people.
Behold, your shipping fodder.
Two shining examples of proxemics in action are the famous “close talker” episode of Seinfeld (of which every communication major has been subjected to) and Castiel’s not understanding of personal space (and human chronemic habits) in Supernatural.
These are how a character walks, if they’re flat-footed, clumsy, or tip-toers. If they make a racket or constantly spook the other characters. If they fidget or can’t sit still in a seat for five seconds, if they like to sit backwards or upside down. How they touch themselves, if they do a lot of self-soothing maneuvers (hugging themselves, rubbing their arms, touching their face, drawing their knees up, holding their neck, etc) or if they don’t do any self-soothing at all.
This is how they shake hands, if they dance while they cook or work. It’s how much space they let themselves take up, if they man-spread or keep their limbs in closer. How close they stand to others or how far. If they let themselves be touched at all, or if they always have their skin covered. If they always have their back to a wall, or are always making sure they know where the nearest exit is. If they make grand gestures when they talk and give directions. If they flinch from pats on the back or raised hands. If they lean away from loud voices or project their own. If they use their height to their advantage when arguing, puff their chest, square their shoulders, put their hands on their hips, or point fingers in accusation.
If they touch other characters as they pass by. If they’re huggers or victims of falling asleep on or near their comrades. If they must sleep facing the door, or with something solid behind them. If they can sleep in the middle of a party wholly uncaring. If they sleepwalk, sleeptalk, migrate across the bed to cuddle whoever’s nearest with no idea they’re doing it.
If they like to be held or like to hold others. If they hate being picked up and slung around or are touch-starved for it. If they like their space and stick to it or are more than happy to share.
Do they walk with grace, head held high and back straight? Or are they hunched over, head hung, watching their feet? Are they meanderers or speed-walkers? Do they cross their arms in front or lace their hands behind them? Do they bow to authority or meet that gaze head on?
I have heard that Prince Zuko, in Last Airbender, is usually drawn sleeping with his bad ear down when he doesn’t feel safe, like on his warship or anywhere in the Fire Nation, or on the road. He’s drawn on his other side once he joins the Gaang. In Dead Man’s Chest, just before Davy Jones drives the Flying Dutchman under the waves, two tentacles curl up and around the brim of his hat to keep it from blowing off in the water.
When they fight, do they attack first, or defend first? Do they touch other characters’ hair? Share makeup, share clothes? Touch their faces with boops or bonks or nuzzles and eskimo kisses? Do they crack their knuckles and necks and knees?
Do they stare in baffled curiosity at all the other characters wholly comfortable in each other's spaces because they can’t, won’t, or don’t see the point in all this nonsense? Do they say they’re happy on the outside, but are betrayed by their body language?
Voice
Whether or not to write an accent is entirely up to you. Books like Their Eyes Were Watching God writes dialogue in a vernacular specific to its characters. Westerners and southerners tend to be written with the southern drawl or dialect, ripe with stereotypical contractions. Be advised, however, that in attempt to write an accent to give your character depth, you could be instead turning off your audience who doesn’t have energy to decipher what they’re saying, or you went and wrote a racist stereotype.
Voice isn’t just accent and dialect, nor is it how it sounds, which falls more solidly under useful character descriptions. Voice for the sake of humanizing your characters concerns how they talk, how they convey their thoughts, and how they become distinct from other characters in dialogue and narration.
If you’re writing a narrative that hops heads and don’t want to include a big banner to indicate who’s talking at any given time, this is where voice matters. It is, I think, the least appreciated of all the possible traits to pay attention to.
First person narrators have the most flexibility here because the audience is zero degrees removed from their first-hand experiences. Their personality comes through sharply in how they describe things and what they pay attention to.
But it’s also in what similes and metaphors they use. I read a book that had an average (allegedly straight) male narrator going off and describing colors with types of flowers, some I had to look up because I just don’t know those off the top of my head. My immediate thought was either this character is a poorly written gay, or he’s a florist. Neither (allegedly), the writer was just being too specific.
Do they have crutch words they use? like, um, actually, so…, uh
Or repeat exclamations specific to them? yikes, yowzers, jeepers, jinkies, zoinks, balls, beans, d’oh!
Or idioms they’re fond of? Like a bat out of hell. Snowball’s chance.
Do they stutter when they’re nervous? Do they lose their train of thought and bounce around, losing other characters in the process? Do they have a non-Christian god they pray to and say something other than “thank God”? Are they from another country, culture, time period, realm, or planet with their own gods, beliefs, and idioms?
When they describe settings, how flowery is the language? Would this grizzled war hero use flowery language? How would he or she describe the color pink, versus a PTA mom? Do they use only a generic “blue, green, red” or do they really pay attention with “aquamarine, teal, emerald, viridian, vermillion, rose, ruby”?
How do this character’s hobbies affect how well they can describe dance moves, painting styles, car models, music genres?
This mostly matters when you’re head-hopping and the voice of the narrator serves to be more distinct, otherwise, what’s the point of head-hopping? Just use third-person omniscient.
If you really want to go wild, give a specific narrator unique syntax. Maybe one character is the ghost of Oscar Wild with never-ending run-on sentences. Just be sure to not go too overboard and compromise the integrity of your story.
In the book A Lesson Before Dying, a somewhat illiterate, underprivileged and undereducated minor has been given a mentor, a teacher, before they face the death penalty. At the end of the book, you read all of the letters they wrote to their teacher. There’s misspellings everywhere, almost no punctuation, and long, rambling sentences.
It’s heartbreaking. The subject matter is heavy and horrible, yes, but it’s the choice to write with such poor English that has a much bigger impact than perfect MLA format.
How to implement these details
Most of these, in the written medium, need only show up once or twice before your audience notices and wonders why they’re there. Most fall squarely under character design, which falls under exposition, and should follow all the exposition guidelines.
These details exist to be random and fluffy, but they can’t exist randomly within the narrative. If you want to have your character be superstitious, pick a relevant time to include that superstition.
Others, like ongoing speech habits or movements, still don’t overuse, especially if they’re unique. A character might like to sit backwards in a chair, but if you mention that they’re doing it every single time they sit down, your audience will wonder what’s so important and if the character is unwell.
And, of course, you can let these traits become thematically important, like a superstition being central to their personality or backstory or motivation. These all serve the same purpose of making your character feel like a real person instead of just a “character”.
Just think about tossing in a few random details every now and then and see what happens. One tiny sentence can take a background character and make them candidates for the eventual fandom’s fan favorite. Details like these turn your work from “This a story, and these are the characters who tell it” into “these are my characters, and this is their story.”

Copycat
Pairing: Choi San x Jung Wooyoung
Genre: idol au, established relationship, smut
Word Count: 1.8k
Summary: While San is on a live with fans, he comes across fanfiction and wants to share it with his ever the obedient boyfriend Wooyoung.
Warnings: MDNI mxm, anal, fingering, degradation, nipple play, handjob, lil bit of spanking, San dom (he tries)
A/n - when I heard that San came across fanfiction, I lost it. And then I had this brilliant idea😃 so yeah I hope you enjoy. It’s also my first time writing mxm and it’s HARD (hehe) but yeah please like, comment, and reblog! Love youuuu - J<3
It had been a while since San had gone live. Atinys had been begging for a San live forever. He’d been so busy with all his schedules, he didn’t have any time.
Finally, after a tiring performance, he decided he could go live. He settled in bed, all cozy with his dark blue silk pajamas. Already having taken off his makeup, he opts for the voice only option. He figures that’s good enough, and presses start.
“Hi everyone! Sorry that it’s voice only today, I just took my makeup off! But I’m super excited to spend time with you today. Ask any questions you’d like!”
The chat rolled by quickly as usual, most comments being confessions of love that flatter yet overwhelm him. He continues talking about his long day and responding to random comments here and there. One comment catches his eyes and he scrolls back to find it.
“‘How many times do I search up my name?’ Hmm that’s a good question. I’d say not too much, just once in a while. You know what, I should search up my name now, why not.”
They can hear San’s speedy typing, and wait with anticipation. San lets out a little ‘aha’ and starts listing off things relating to his name. “Alright let’s see. San mama, San bouncy, San crazy form, San fanfiction, San…wait what?” He takes a few seconds to read. “What does that mean?”
The chat goes ballistic. The comments go by at the speed of lightning, begging San to ignore it. San gets flustered at all the comments. “What do you mean don’t search it? Why not? Is it a bad thing?”
Curiosity gets the best of San and he types in “San fanfiction”. The chat is still screaming at him to stop. He clicks on the first link, directing him to a website. As he scrolls, a title catches his eye.
“Woosan fight club.”
That intrigues him, and he starts reading. The fans hear silence on his end, and continue freaking out. As San goes past the first paragraph, he can feel an erection forming and tries so hard to keep it together. Realizing he needs to get back to the live, he clears his throat, trying hard to sound normal.
“Ahhh so that’s what it is,” he says quietly. “You guys sure know how to have fun.” He forces out a chuckle. Desperately needing to leave, he sticks around for a bit more in order to not seem suspicious.
Finally after the most torturous ten minutes, he says goodnight to Atinys and ends the live. Letting out a groan of frustration, he palms himself through his pants, needing friction. As his hips raise to meet his hand, he realizes he needs more. He stands up from his bed abruptly, leaving the dorm. Not even bothering to throw on a shirt, he runs down the stairs in a rush.
Coming up to the door, he knocks urgently, disregarding the neighbors. The door opens and there stands a disheveled looking Wooyoung.
“S-san? What are you doing here?” He asks in a confused tone. He glances at the clock. “It’s 12:30.” San pushes past him into the living room. Looking around for traces of Hongjoong or Jongho, he turns back to Wooyoung.
“Where are the others?” He asks him. Wooyoung still looking confused answers. “They’re both asleep, but San I still don’t understand why-”
Wooyoung’s words are cut off as San smashes his lips against his, Wooyoung stumbling backwards. He lets out muffled gasps, while San sinks his teeth into his lower lip. In between loud smacks, Wooyoung manages to get out a few words.
“San what the hell are you doing?” Even through the confusion, he kisses San like his life depends on it. He only gets shushed in return, getting no answer, but that doesn’t matter too much when he’s being devoured by the love of his life. San starts to lead Wooyoung towards his room, not once letting go.
“I have something to show you,” San says breathlessly. He pulls out his phone from his pocket and scrolls through dozens of Ateez fan fiction.
“Choose from any of these and I will do whatever it says in it.” San can’t even contain his excitement.
Wooyoung starts protesting. “What in the…” he trails off as he sees the content. He swallows tightly and turns to look at San who is in the process of taking his pants off.
“Oh god, ok ok, I’ll choose this one.” He stops on a Woosan one, how ironic.
San lets out a wicked grin. “Alright baby, your wish is my command.” He pushes Wooyoung down once again, with more intensity. Trailing his mouth up his collarbones, leaving sloppy, wet kisses upon his exposed skin. As he nears his ear, he lets out a sensual whisper.
“One condition though. You read to me what’s happening and I’ll do it.”
Wooyoung tries not to show his eagerness but fails, letting out an excited giggle. It’s pretty much a dream come true for the pervert that he is.
San assists Wooyoung in taking off his pants, moving on to his shirt next. He hands him the phone with the filthy smut, clammy hands reaching out in a grabbing motion.
He gives San a cheeky grin while shuffling his hips closer to the edge of the bed. San groans at the feel of their skin on each other. “Ok baby, get to reading now.”
A throaty moan leaves Wooyoung‘s mouth as San grabs the base of his cock. His body convulses from the sudden attack, and he drops the phone onto his stomach. San continues sliding his hand up and down his shaft, stimulating Wooyoung in a way that has him thrashing around.
Pressing his thumb onto the slit, Wooyoung tenses and lets out a whine.
“What did I say about reading? Get to it.”
Wooyoung shivers at San’s commanding tone. He tries to get it together and firmly grasps the phone in his hands.
“San ran his hands all over Wooyoung’s torso, brushing past his sensitive nipples, sending a shiver through his lithe body.”
And San does just that. He splays out a hand on his chest, running his nails up and down. He pinches his nipple, having no mercy whatsoever. Pinching, twisting, pulling. He was simultaneously still pumping his leaking, desperate cock.
Wooyoung feels like he’s going insane, he needs a release. Yelping out slightly, he holds onto San’s hand.
“San, oh my god please I can’t-” San speeds up his actions, shoving two fingers into Wooyoung’s mouth to shut him up.
Wooyoung comes with a muffled moan, hips bucking up, searching for more friction and also stinging from overstimulation.
Even though San is feeling devilish, he still has enough mercy to let Wooyoung relax from his intense orgasm.
His chest is heaving up and down, eyes closed and hand gripping the sheets. After a few more deep breaths, Wooyoung comes to a realization that he only got one sentence out of the fanfiction. Fearfully, he peeks out at San, expecting an angry face ready to punish him. However, a soft smile graces his face.
“Baby, I know I wanted you to read the story, but I can’t handle your attention not being fully on me.”
Wooyoung lets out a breathy laugh at that. Oh San. He’s always trying to pretend that he’s so in charge, but he can’t help being needy and selfishly wanting attention.
He throws the phone away gladly, and pushes San down against him in a passionate kiss. Wooyoung attacks with his tongue, fighting for dominance. San is however having none of that.
He flips up Wooyoung onto his knees, and pushes his head into the pillow.
“Do not move,” San growls out.
Sliding off the bed, he reaches for the lube in their nightstand. Twisting it open, he lets a glob fall from onto Wooyoung’s awaiting hole. As the cold liquid drips down, he clenches around nothing. Smearing it around, he shoves in a finger with no warning.
Wooyoung lets out the most pathetic whine known to mankind, moving his hips side to side. San smacks his hand down onto his ass, leaving a faint red hand mark.
“Maybe if I fuck you open with my fingers you’ll learn how to shut up huh? What do you think?”
He adds a second finger, having no pity. To his delight, Wooyoung is too out of it to get out any words. All he can hear is muffled moans and sobs.
He decides he’s opened up enough and pulls his fingers out with a pop. Wooyoung’s greedy hole twitches, missing being full.
San pumps his own cock a few times, getting himself ready to fuck the life out of his boyfriend. He lines himself up and slowly pushes in. Of course he loves being mean, but he doesn’t want to genuinely hurt Wooyoung. As soon as Wooyoung is filled to the brim, San starts thrusting shallowly.
With each thrust, Wooyoung’s face gets squished into the pillow more and more. He lets out a scream.
“San!!”
“Oh now the dirty whore found his words. You’re enjoying this a bit too much aren’t you.”
He lets down a few more smacks, resulting in Wooyoung moaning loudly, almost howling.
San keeps pounding into Wooyoung, gripping his skin so tightly that it leaves crescent nail marks. He grits his teeth, putting everything he’s got into this. The sound of the headboard banging against the wall completely escapes him, not even caring about the neighbors at the moment. He’ll deal with it later.
“Fuck fuck fuck San.” Wooyoung just babbles absently, so fucked out he can’t think of anything else to say.
As San’s hips drill into Wooyoung harder, he nears his climax. Wanting to make Wooyoung come again, he reaches around him, gripping his leaking cock. Wooyoung cries out at the extra stimulation and his knees almost give out.
San thrusts for a few more seconds, and he comes with a loud groan, right into Wooyoung’s ass. As he pulls out, his cum drips out, leaving a trail of the dirty deed.
Wooyoung collapses onto the bed, without having San holding him up. He feels like he could just fall asleep he’s so tired. He feels San leave the bed and he lets out a low whine at his absence.
San comes back with a warm, wet towel. Gently cleaning up Wooyoung, he leaves soft, fluttery kisses along his back. Wooyoung lets out steady breaths, finally being able to relax from the torture (fun).
San climbs into bed with him, cuddling him close. Wooyoung reaches out a hand to caress San’s soft face.
“I love you so much San.” He whispers. San closes his eyes and gives him a peck on his hand.
“I love you even more baby.”
As they both settle down to sleep, he hears a vibration on the nightstand. He turns to grab his phone, and sees a message from Hongjoong.
“Why don’t you be a little louder you bastards. Fuck you, I want to sleep”
San stifles his laughter and turns back around with no guilt whatsoever.

12 Wants For WHB
Disclaimer: This is completely my opinion and you are free to disagree. I am also not a game dev, so I do not know how easy or difficult these things would be to implement in game. Though, I have played a lot of gacha games, and many of the things I want do feature in other games, so I don’t think anything I say here is too unrealistic.
With that out of the way, here are some things that I want added or changed in WHB in no particular order. This is not an exhaustive list, but still ended up being way longer than I initially thought it would be.
Will edit parts as green if they are added into the game at some point.

I would like the bug that makes chats disappear to be fixed.
Chat replayability. You can already replay L Card chats, so I don’t think it would be too hard to implement that for regular chats.
Change chat time gate so that it works when the app is closed. Currently, you can only get a new text message after you spend 30 minutes in the app. I find this very annoying. I’m fine with waiting 30 minutes but I want to be able to close the app in the meantime. So, my idea is, once you log in for the day, the countdown starts even if you close the app, then once you open the app after 30 min you can read the chat, then the next countdown starts and so on and so forth.
Voice Calls
We don’t have these currently in the game, but I think any gacha game with a phone feature should have them included. This could implemented in a few ways. They could tie them to L Cards. Or it could be we get a new call like once a month or something. Then, maybe, some calls for special occasions like your birthday, his birthday, the launch anniversary, etc.
Home Page
It would be nice if we could change the expression on the demon’s face that we put on the home page. We can unlock expressions as we increase likability for the demons, so I’d like to be able to see those expressions on the home page.
They said at one point they’ll allow us to change the Satan icon on the Secret Club to different demons, which will be nice and I hope they implement that soon.
Artifacts
Better organization. I want to be able to organize by the same artifact, so I can easily see how many I have of each specific artifact.
Increased storage. Let us store more than 200 artifacts. I like to have lots of artifacts for fodder for other artifacts.
Weekly achievement. I think the achievement of raising artifacts by 20 levels each week is excessive. I keep having to raise artifacts that I’ll never use just to complete this achievement and it’s wasteful. Either reduce the number of levels needed or get rid of the achievement and replace it by an achievement for playing panty party or something like that.
Gacha
They recently changed it so you have a slightly increased rate for the demon that you pick on the gacha screen. This is nice, but I would prefer it if the increased rate was like 5% because the current 1% really is a negligible difference.
I would like banners of general pool L cards that use red keys, not solomon seals. Maybe they last a week twice a month or something like that. For example, Attacker Levi could be featured at the start of the month. That card and his artifact are the only L items that can be pulled from that banner. Using red keys, after 110 total pulls, you are guaranteed his artifact and, after 220 total pulls, you are guaranteed his card. This banner lasts a week. Then there is no banner for a week. Then, for example, Attacker Beel has a banner the third week. Then no banner, etc. I would also like the pity to carry over between these theoretical red key banners.
Currently, we can skip the entire gacha animation and pulled character showcase, if we didn’t pull an S rank or above. I want to be able skip it no matter what, unless I pull an L character.
Currently, the gacha animation flashes gold when you get an L Card or L artifact. I would prefer for the L artifact to flash a different colour, like pink for example. I’ve gotten my hopes up too many times seeing gold, thinking I got an L card, and then being disappointed as I instead got Satan’s hair for the 20th time.
Action Power
I would like to be able to come back at certain times of the day, for example, 12pm and 6pm, and get like 50 AP each time. This is a feature in many other gacha games.
I would also like the ability to watch ads for more AP. I know some people are against this type of thing, but I really don’t mind it as long as it’s not mandatory and is non-intrusive.
Translation
The translation is very poor compared to most other gacha games. There’s odd English syntax, a lot of typos, and seemingly missing words. I don’t even know what the characters are trying to convey at times and it really takes me out of the story. So I want them to hire some good English translators. If I could only get one thing on this list implemented into the game, it would be this.
Also I want them to do better about making sure to use the correct pronouns for the MC.
Panty Party
I feel like this feature could be improved a lot. Bring back gold panties in every level. Remove gold from the item list. Gold panties can give you advanced candy choice chest, whole pie choice chest, red keys, or solomon seals. Normal panties can give you beginners / intermediate candy choice chest, slice pie choice chest, pretzels, and gold keys. Also if you fail a level, you can choose to watch an ad to continue from that level if you want.
Events
I’m glad that they added quick plays to events.
The event tab needs to be separated from all other tabs, to always be easily able to select it. It was cumbersome when the Leraye event tab was combined with the limited achievement tab, lucifer gacha tab, and event replay tab. It would constantly switch between each tab, and you’d have to take extra time to switch back to the event tab.
For event replays, currently they cost a small amount to buy to replay. But as more and more events are added, that will be unsustainable. I think if you play an event, then for a certain amount of event currency you can purchase an event replay ticket to be redeemed later. If you didn’t play the event, then there can be other ways to get event replay tickets.
They should allow us to access the event shop for a couple days after the event ends. Just so we can focus on the event and then spend all the currency we earned after it ends.
I do think it is a good idea to use events to flesh out the universe and tell important stories pre-MC to not bog down the main story. However, I would like it if some of the events were MC focused. I would love to know more about how we’re adapting to Hell and interacting with others when we’re not being constantly forced to keep moving forward by the main story.
Pies
We need to have a way to farm pie slices and whole pies. I’m surprised the game has been out this long and they still haven’t introduced a way for us to get them more easily.
The amount of pie slices we need to increase a characters skills from level 4 to level 5 is 60, which is beyond excessive. I also don’t get why the jump between the amount of pies needed is so large. Going from needing 0 pies at level 4 to 60 pies at level 5 is odd game design. So, I think it should be reduced to 30 pies slices at most. For level 8, it should be 60 whole pies at most, not 160.
Characters
Another odd game choice is that the S characters need the exact same amount of materials to level up as the L characters. This doesn’t make sense as the S characters are generally less valuable gameplay-wise than the L ones. So why would I waste my precious resources on them, when for the same amount I could raise a much better L unit. Having S characters cost less than the L ones gives incentive to level them up.
This one is the least likely to ever happen, but I’d like for the A+ characters to have likeability rewards. It’s really nice being able to hear voice lines, change the expressions, and get some info on the S/L characters. I’d like to be able to do that for the A+ characters. Yes, it has been confirmed that A+ characters can get L versions, so then they would have expressions/voice lines available in that case. However, there’s no guarantee every single A+ rank will get an L version, and even if they did that could be years in the future. So I would like A+ characters to have a likeability section, but, to balance it out, the item rewards you get from them could be half of the S/L characters. For example, instead of 50 gold keys for a node, you get 25.
Miscellaneous
When they conduct maintenance, I’d like for them to give us more than just some AP. As an example, if they did maintenance for 2 hours, they should compensate us with 2 red keys, or 20 solomon seals.
I’d like to be able to quick play battles in the story chapters. If not unlimited, then at least 5 quick plays a day.
There’s a bug that places me at the beginning of a story chapter instead of where I should be at the end (the node to farm the candy chests). Then I have to scroll all the way to the end which actually takes quite a bit of time. I don’t know if this is affecting anyone else but it is affecting me and it’s annoying so I want it fixed.
When promoting a character or levelling up their skills above level 4 or completing a node on the unholy board that requires Solomons tears, pies or candies, I would like a window that pops up that asks if we’re sure that we want to consume those materials. I misclicked a few times, and that is a lot of resources to waste by accident. So I would like a pop up window to help prevent this.
With all that said, I truly like the premise of this game, the character designs, the VA performances, the art by Nori and the fact that this is an 18+ game aimed at men-loving people, which is a very rare thing. So I am glad it exists and hope that it succeeds. The wants I’ve listed here are just things that would increase my enjoyment even more.

first date with eddie (headcannons)
warnings: overall fluff, makeout, touching, language
eddie munson x reader using she/her pronouns
Eddie was scared shitless to ask her out
And when he finally grew the balls to ask her, he was quite shocked that she said yes
They’ve been friends forever
It started out as a harmless and romanticless relationship
They both considered themselves just best friends
Nothing more and nothing less
Eddie’s feelings for her didn’t bloom until the beginning of high school
However, it wasn’t until their senior year (his 2nd senior year) that he started seeing her as a girlfriend
Little did he know she felt the same
She tried to show flirty signs for years, but he didn’t notice
The playful shoves or the arm in arm walks
She joined his Hellfire Club at school - even though she had no idea how to play the game
She just enjoyed watching Eddie have fun
He even made her a one-of-a-kind shirt where the little devil had a pair of sunglasses on it
Ones similar to the ones she wore on a daily basis
That’s when her love for him grew fonder
One Friday, Eddie was going to ask her out while she was switching her morning textbooks for the afternoon
He watched from afar as she walked up to her locker, put in her code, and start unloading her bag
She was wearing a pair of denim jeans, oversized sweater, and her hair tied loosely in a pink scrunchie
He walked up to her with a smile
“Hi, Eds,” she smiled
She was the only person that could call him that
“Hey,” he said
She had a concerned look on her face
“Everything okay?” she asked
“Oh yeah, everything’s great. How was your classes?” he tucked a piece of hair behind his ear
“They were alright, happy that it’s the weekend.”
“Hey, listen, Uh-”
He kept pausing and rubbing the back of his neck
He was nervous as fuck
“There’s a new Friday the 13th movie out tonight, wanna go see it with me? Like, a date?”
She blushed, no one asked her out in a while - not anyone she felt something for
“Of course I’ll go out with you, Eds.”
His eyes lit up, all he wanted to do was cheer loudly and dance around the busy hallway
“Great! Uh- awesome. I’ll pick you up at 7:30,” he smiled and walked her to her next class, not caring if he was late to his own.
While she sat in class, she couldn’t concentrate on algebra
The only thing on her mind was Eddie
The more she thought about him, the more she wanted him
She cursed at herself why she didn’t make a better move earlier
She couldn’t wait till their date
When he got home from school, he stood in front of his closet trying to figure out what he should wear - she was doing the absolute same
He decided on black jeans, white shirt and her a white skirt, pink shirt and a sweater
She was waiting on her deck when he pulled up her driveway in his white van
He, of course, had his favorite Metallica song blaring from the speaker - making her giggle
“You look beautiful,” he said
“And you as well”
The two sat in silence - awkward silence - as he drove to the Starcourt Mall
Noramlly, the mall isn’t Eddie’s scene
Too many people, stores that aren’t his type, music he doesn’t like plays throughout the mall
“I can’t get away from this shit pop music!” he would say she “forced” him to help her find a homecoming dress
He secretly loved it
He winced at he saw the parking lot as he pulled in
“We don’t have to be here, I’m okay just-”
“No,” he interrupted, “I want to take you to see this movie.”
She smiled and grabbed his hand that was placed on his shaking leg.
As they walked towards the large building, she grabbed his hand
This was a date afterall
He held the door open for her and motioned for her to go in first
“A true gentleman.” she said
He smiled wide and threw his arm over her shoulder, and hers around his waist
He paid for both tickets
He found you a seat in the corner as it was a fully sold-out theater
He felt so protective of her when she got scared from one of the scenes
He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her close
“I really wanna kiss you right now,” he whispered in her ear
She blushed, “There’s someone right next to us, behind us, and in front of us!”
“Fuck ‘em,” he said, grabbing her chin and planting on right on her
Of course, once they started, they couldn’t stop.
They got a few looks and a couple of rude grunts from people who were simply trying to enjoy the slasher film.
“Why don’t we get outta here?”
Eddie grabbed her hand and they ran out of the theater, out of the mall, and into the dark parking lot.
It was late and most shoppers went home except for the movie goers - who were all inside
They were alone
He pushed her up against his van and continued what he was doing in the theater
Except he was way more handsy
Her hands were everywhere
His hair
His hips
His neck
His face
His chest
Everywhere
“Should have done this sooner,” he laughed in her mouth
“We didn’t know and we were both too chicken shit to do anything about it,” she joked, “Take me home, Eds. Stay with me tonight.”

akaashi x gn!reader, sfw
cw: mentions of skin picking (akaashi picks at his fingers)
notes: sorry for being afk lol was moving back into college, and now that i have settled back in, here's my obligatory, written-in-30-minutes college!au akaashi bc he is The College Au. happy that i'm beginning to write for hq characters bc they all mean so much to me. also requests/suggestions are closing this weekend, so pls drop by my ask box by then if you want smth!! feel free to drop by for no good reason, too!
THE TWO of you don’t even have to say anything. one glance at each other, and you both shut your eyes and exhale deeply.
to be fair, neither of you are surprised either. the two other students in your project group are notorious for skipping classes and buying homework answers off of other students. it should have been a given they wouldn’t help out on this presentation either.
the grandfather clock against the adjacent wall is an old thing, really – wood faded and paint chipped off –, yet the ticks of its hands click crisply in contrast to the soft sounds of laminated textbook pages flipping and footsteps rubbing against carpet. just like an old grandparent would, every tick of the clock is a nagging reminder directed at you and akaashi: “that’s one less minute you have to work on that project! oh, and another! are the two of you ever going to get started?”
you pull out your chair and sit next to akaashi, who looks more exhausted than he usually does. there are dark, dark shadows under his eyes, and there are swollen cuts around his cuticles from where he tugs on petty, persistent hangnails.
you shove a hand into the back pocket of your pants. i thought i had one on me, you think, pouting slightly as you continue to feel through crushed receipts, loose threads, and whatever other junk you crammed in back there. finally, you feel the familiar papery texture. there it is!
“akaashi, here.” you slide it over to him, and he glances at it before focusing back onto his laptop screen. it’s almost like he doesn’t recognize the object as he says nothing for a few moments, but then, he looks back and purses his lips, his best attempt at a grateful smile in his current state.
“thanks for the bandaid,” he mutters as he begins to open up the packaging.
you shrug your shoulders and furrow your brows. “i should’ve brought more,” you say. “that’s on me.”
he shakes his head as he wraps the bandaid around the knuckle of his thumb – the most tortured of all his fingers. “don’t apologize. i should be the one taking care of myself anyway.”
“i doubt a single college student can take care of themself, let alone a project meant for four people,” you groan.
“they don’t count as people,” he deadpans.
you choke a laugh. “akaashi, don’t be mean.”
“i’m only stating a fact.”
at this point, akaashi has already returned to working, typing away and switching tabs every so often. you, too, grab your things to contribute.
the project is more tedious than anything, and luckily, the two of you had completed your respective one-fourths of the work ahead of time. however, the two of you were hoping – naïvely, might you add – that your other teammates would pull through, so you had procrastinated on finishing their parts until the day before the deadline.
and things continued downhill from there. you and akaashi were supposed to meet in the morning to dedicate the whole day to completing and revising the presentation. however, his research advisor emailed him last-minute to help with some urgent manuscripts, so the two of you delayed until 4pm. but then you got roped into a club event, which included dinner and a drinking afterparty, and not wanting to cause a ruckus with your seniors, you obliged. needless to say, it’s now 9pm and there is a whole half-empty presentation waiting to be filled.
at least the one thing that is working in your favor is your mechanical teamwork. you work on a section, akaashi on another, and when both of you are done, you switch to polish each other’s works. akaashi is also a fantastic writer and critic, so not only do you feel like you’re learning from his suggestions, you’re also not devastated in the process. even with potentially very shallow questions, he’s patient.
about an hour in, you mumble, “wait, i’m not sure if this makes sense.” you turn your computer towards him, and he leans forward, slightly in front of you, to see clearer.
from this proximity, you notice the way his nose twitches, along with the way his lips form a pout, as he readjusts the bridge of his glasses. you can also trace the curvature of his ears, following the round of the helix down to the lobe. and his eyebrows –
then again, these are things you’ve known for a while now. you’re just taking note of details you’ve already memorized. you’ve come to terms with your crush on akaashi since the second week of the fall term, truly having experienced love at first sight. but you’re too tired for a relationship, and if you’re exhausted, well, akaashi is probably having a worse time.
and by the looks of it, akaashi suddenly sniffles. you pull out a tissue immediately.
he chuckles as he takes it. “that pocket of yours is pretty handy.”
you frown. because you did miss a detail.
akaashi is flushed from his cheeks up to his temples and ears. and upon reflection, his voice sounded more gravelly, without its usual snark, when he was making the jab at your project mates earlier.
oh.
“are you sick?” you ask.
the first time he doesn’t hear you, intently reading through your write-up. you ask again, this time also tapping his shoulder.
“sorry, what?” he mumbles.
“akaashi, i said, are you sick?”
a confused expression flashes across his face before ot returns to its typical unbothered look.
“don’t worry about it,” he grunts,
“you should get some rest,” you insist.
“and what about the project then?”
you really shouldn’t be doing this to yourself because it would mean pulling an all-nighter, but you also don’t want akaashi to work while he’s under the weather. “i’ll just do it myself. i’ll send you everything by the morning, so you can take a look over it when you wake up, and then we can submit it by class time, yeah?”
he gawks at you, terrified at your proposal. he shakes his head, adamant when he says, “there’s no way i could let you do that. you need to rest, too.”
“not as much as you,” you argue back. “if you’re not too sick, then you can sleep it off and wake up early to help. but right now, you need to go back to your dorm.”
he fights back, trying to convince you of otherwise, but you’ve already crossed your arms across your chest firmly and are staring at him with a quirked eyebrow, visibly unimpressed.
akaashi can only roll his eyes at your stubbornness.
as he packs his things, he looks over his shoulder at you and asks, “is there anything i can do to make it up to you?”
“akaashi, are you being serious? you don’t need to make up anything. just feel better for me, alright?”
now he’s looking at you like you’re a total idiot.
you just sigh.
“fine, just treat me to a meal or something, alright? now go.”
“i was going to take you out for dinner anyway, but fine. i’ll pay for lunch tomorrow.”
“yeah, sounds good. now go!”
akaashi leaves, and you return back to your work.
the hours fly by. other students begin to filter out, and by the time it’s past midnight, you’re only accompanied by a night-shift student librarian and the grandfather clock. you lean back into your chair, taking a quick breather.
you think back to your conversation with akaashi before he left. gotta finish the project before he wakes up, only six more slides to go, i wonder what we should have for lunch, he did say we’d get to eat together another time –
you jolt. sitting upright, your eyes widen slowly as you recount akaashi’s words. he said he would take me out anyway.
are you hallucinating? so delusional that you can’t tell between fantasy and reality? he said those exact words, right? did he mean it the way you think it means?
the clock chimes loudly as a new hour begins. you’re thrown back to work, but really, you don’t even know how you managed to finish the assignment because, the entire time, you kept thinking about akaashi and his intentions.
what does he mean?

18 and 50 🥰💕💕💕🍰🎂🧁🚨
Six months seems like a perfectly reasonable response time... right? RIGHT?
The prompts were: 18 & 50 We both showed up alone to the couples cake decorating class, so obviously-... and Fighting? No, no, we're having a great time arguing about this.
Enjoy below or on Ao3
---
Kravitz hates his colleagues, Kravitz hates them so hard and double and backwards. The power of his hatred is turned up to eleven. He’s going to switch the office coffee to decaf, he’s going to move everything round in the fridge, he’s going to take all the good name brand parcel tape and replace it with the shit stuff that sticks to you more than whatever you’re trying to wrap up. But he’s not. Not really. He’s going to walk into the couples cake decorating class which they didn’t mention he needed a plus one for, and he’s going to have a ‘marvellous’ time. Just like Lydia said he should when she waved him away earlier. But this time, this time he’s not going to believe them when they say they ‘forgot’ or ‘misread the ticket’, because Kravitz is not gullible. Maybe that really did happen the first four times, but five is suspicious. Five stinks of deception. Five are on Craggy Island and they know someone’s been fucking things up for them on purpose.
“Hello!” Says the wall of a man at the door in a worryingly joyful tone. It looks like he’s working hard not to grab Kravitz in a hug. Kravitz appreciates the effort. He does not like to be touched. Lydia says it’s because he needs to work on his social skills. Kravitz thinks that it’s probably because she and Edward need to learn about boundaries. “What’s your name? I’m Magnus!”
Kravitz hands over his ticket with a tight smile.
“Ah, yes, I have you on the list, a last minute addition! Welcome Cravat.”
“It’s Kravitz.” Says Kravitz, trying not to be terse, and failing hideously. They know exactly how much he hates it when people call him that. Namely them, because no one else does. But this isn’t Magnus’ fault, he seems very nice and very excited about event administration, and not responsible for the terrible people Kravitz needs to not work with anymore.
Magnus’s face falls. “Oh… they spelled it twice on the phone…” He gives Kravitz a searching look. “Are you sure?”
“Am I sure what my own name is?”
“I’m not judging you, sometimes people forget things. I don’t mind.” Magnus shoots him a disarmingly encouraging smile and the fighting winds leave his sails.
“I’m sure that my name is Kravitz.” Says Kravitz in the most measured tone he can muster. Maybe if he explains… he can just practise telling someone how awful they are. He’ll never ever have to see Magnus again. “My colleagues are complete… they’re not very… they like to… it’s a joke.” He finishes lamely. It’s fine. He can practise the conversation in the shower and then write a little script before he tells anyone else.
“Okay then…” Magnus pauses, shape of the “C” in his mouth. Kravitz’s lips draw into a thin line. “...Kravitz. Welcome to cake club! Tonight we’re decorating with the very best boys. Is your partner here yet?”
Kravitz’s mouth gets even tighter. “It’ll just be me.”
“At the couples decorating class?” Magnus asks like Kravitz is being ridiculous.
“Yes at the couples decorating class.” Kravitz smiles his very best customer service smile and hopes for the best.
“Okay.” Magnus says slowly. “Yeah, we can work with that.” Magnus gives him a once over. “The suit will definitely help.”
Kravitz has a distinct feeling that he’s being appraised against a firm set of criteria.
“Yeah. You’ll be fine. Come on. Julia will be starting soon and you’re the last one here.” Magnus shoos him through the door.
Kravitz is 30 minutes early. There’s no way he can be the last one here! He’s never late! He…’s going to switch out Edward’s sticky tack for the one that feels all weird and over stretchy. Surely it’s bad enough for him to show up without a person and incorrectly named, he doesn’t need lateness to complete the trifecta. They’re twins, they should only be allowed to do two bad things in one go, that’s only fair.
“Here you go.” Magnus points to a station with a large, intimidating array of tools which put him in mind of a surgery table, a stack of colourful bags thankfully pre-loaded with icing, and two aprons covered in hearts set next to each other.
“I’ll just…” Magnus leans past him to grab one of them and laboriously inch it away as if Kravitz won’t see as long as the movements are slow.
“You too, huh?” Asks the man on the adjoining station. He’s alone too. Although he appears to be wearing both aprons, one on the front and one on the back.
“Yep.” Kravitz tries not to make eye contact. He doesn’t need pity.
“On purpose?” The man asks.
“No.” Maybe if he keeps his answers short the man will realise this conversation isn’t going to happen.
“I did.” Kravitz sees the man shrug out of the corner of his eye. “Societal expectations can suck it, couples decorating class? Taako’s a baller chef, just wait, you’re going to be amazed by how many arms I have.”
“Is it more than two?” Kravitz turns to look, immediately forgetting his previous strategy.
“You’ll have to wait and see.” The man winks dramatically.
He’s handsome, very handsome. Dirty blonde hair in a plait down his back, a light scrub of stubble across his jaw, and so many jangly earrings and necklaces that Kravitz can’t help but stare.
“Ah fantastic idea!” The woman at the front of the class, Julia, Kravitz assumes, beams as Magnus points at the two of them. “As you two are already getting to know each other, why don’t you work together?” She smiles like she’s doing them a favour.
Everyone turns to look.
Kravitz doesn’t want to be perceived right now, not for this reason. He doesn’t need everyone to look at him and know he’s here alone and needs to be paired up with someone while all these couples came together on purpose. His face grows hot and his mouth clamps closed and his fingers definitely aren’t working and he doesn’t want to check in with his legs about it.
There’s a horrible screeching noise.
“Taako!” Julia winces. “Could you…”
The rest of her sentence is drowned out by another horrible screech as he laboriously moves his stool.
“Just following instructions.” The man who must be called Taako? (Surely not?) calls cheerfully as he settles down next to Kravitz
“Right. Well, now that you’re done…”
The stool screeches again.
“Taako!”
“Sorry.” He doesn’t look even a little bit sorry.
Kravitz stifles a laugh. As much as he appreciates the interruption he doesn’t want to get tarred with the same brush. He refuses to get detention. Can you get cooking class detention? That would probably be a good thing, he needs all the help he can get… so maybe they’d ask him to leave early instead? Either way, he doesn’t want to do anything wrong enough to find out.
“If you’re done?” Julia levels a frankly terrifying stare their way and the stool screecher sits up straight and attentive.
“Hello everyone! I’m Julia Burnsides, and this is my lovely assistant Magnus Burnsides.”
Magnus waves happily at them all then delivers a positively goopy smile to Julia. She returns it. They’re disgusting. Kravitz hates them. (Kravitz envies them deeply.)
“Tonight we’re going to turn this…” Julia holds up a scandalously nude cupcake.
“Into this!” Magnus shouts, enthusiastic and loud enough to make Kravitz jump slightly in his seat.
Taako doesn’t disguise his laugh.
Kravitz would glare at him, but he’s been reliably informed it’s not polite, so he settles for shushing Taako and making sure he’s exuding ‘Paying Attention In Class Like It’s His Job’ energy. In fact, it is his job, it’s both of their jobs, because they entered into the education contract by signing up for the class even if it was under false pretences and someone else signed up on his behalf as a joke.
A sharp elbow digs him in the ribs. “What do you think the cake’s supposed to be?” The man is, at least, keeping his voice down slightly, no one turns round to tell them off.
Kravitz doesn’t turn round. He’s being a good student. Also, he has absolutely no idea what the thing Magnus is proudly brandishing at them is. Maybe a tractor?
“This is a dog that Magnus made.” Julia adds helpfully. Kravitz has to assume the bemusement which is likely apparent on his face is also mirrored across the other attendees.
“Here’s another version.” She holds up a much more dog-like dog. “We’re going to take you through step by step.” Julia smiles so reassuringly that Kravitz is almost convinced he’s going to be able to make his very own dog tractor.
“First off, you’ll need to come to the front in turn and get your cupcakes. If we could have this table first?” Julia points at the front left bench, as far from them as they can possibly get. Are they being punished? Are there going to be worse cakes for them because they broke the rules and came alone?
“Don’t worry.” The man says conspiratorially and slides a tupperware onto the table. “I brought my own.”
“What?” Kravitz isn’t sure that’s legal. Can he go down for this? Existing in the presence of contraband cake might summon the bakery police.
“They’ll just have vanilla. These are salted caramel, mocha, strawberry - with the proper stuff, you know, Taako doesn’t fuck with extract only nonsense - and vanilla but it has beans so you can’t say that it’s the same as the ones here.” He cracks the lid as he talks and glorious cakey smells waft out.
“Are we allowed?” Kravitz asks quiet and serious. Maybe there’s a rule he doesn’t know about. Maybe Lydia and Edward forgot to mention it was BYOC… that seems about right honestly.
“Doesn’t matter, does it, kemosabe, because we’ve done it already.” The man shrugs as if he’s not worried about getting a bad mark in cake.
“Ah.” Kravitz says, not entirely ready to make himself an accomplice.
“Here, try one. What’s your poison? You seem like a guy who caffeinates.” The man holds a chocolatey, coffee-y treat his way. “Go on, it’ll blow your mind, Taako guarantees it.”
Kravitz really wants the cake. It smells amazing and his lunch disappeared from the fridge yet again so all he’s had to eat was the sad, crumbly granola bar he found at the back of his desk drawer…
The man, who does in fact seem to be called Taako starts to withdraw his hand. “Well, if you don’t want it then I guess.”
“Wait!” Kravitz grabs it quickly. It’s not polite, but he’s not risking missing out. “You’re sure you have enough?”
“Cha’boy brought plenty. Taako can’t believe you’d doubt him like this. We’ve been together for 16 years, happily married for 15 years and fifty one weeks of that time, and still you don’t trust me.”
“We had a bad week?” Kravitz breaks off a piece of the cake.
Taako looks offended. “No!”
“But you said…”
“We got married a week after we met.” Taako says firmly. “Now eat your cake, snugglepuss.”
Kravitz winces. “Snugglepuss?”
“That’s what you’ve got the issue with? Not our timeline?”
“Well we were just so in love.” Kravitz refuses to be beaten in imagination table tennis. “How could I do anything but ask you to marry me after that glorious week of cross country skiing? I bought the ring on our lunch break on day two.”
“Cross country skiing?” Taako cocks an eyebrow, but he’s still smiling. Not in the mean way either, the way when sometimes you think you’re playing the same game, but you’re very much not and they’re just gathering data to inform exactly how much they’re going to ostracise you (it’s lots, it’s always lots.)
“I loved the way your thigh muscles strained when you tried to get out of the hole.” Kravitz tries very hard not to think about Taako in a skin tight ski suit. He’s never been skiing, but his brain is doing a great job of thinking up some things he definitely shouldn’t be paying attention to.
He shoves the cake in his mouth to distract himself.
It’s incredible.
He doesn’t know the technical terms, but it’s got all the cake things, the taste and the texture and the… crumb. That’s definitely a cake thing.
“These are magic.” Kravitz tries to force himself to chew his next bite slower and actually savour it.
He fails.
Taako’s looks at him again, he really looks at him, drags his eyes slowly down to Kravitz’s toes and back up again, then grins.
“I’m Kravitz.” Kravitz says, because he can’t think of anything better and it seems polite.
“You sure are, kemosabe.” Taako winks an exaggerated overblown wink. “Cha’boy’s Taako, but you figured that out for yourself.”
Kravitz shouldn’t feel proud, but he does.
“Now that everyone has their cake we need you all to find the nozzle which will make the kind of hair you want your dog to have.” Julia holds up one of the nozzles which is full of holes. “For example, this one could be a pomeranian running.”
Kravitz writes a question mark in his pocket notebook after ‘pomeranian running’. It’s a tiny rebellion but Taako snorts gently next to him and it feels good. Well, mostly. Kravitz hopes Taako’s laughing at the concept and not him.
Taako picks up a nozzle.
“I’d like you to all pick up your nozzle and try piping with the practice bag, use the greaseproof paper to get the motion. You’ll be looking for something like this.” She pipes a perfectly windswept dab of buttercream fur onto her parchment.
Taako’s not piping onto the parchment.
Taako’s piping directly onto the cake.
“Taako!” Kravitz whispershouts like his life depends on it, because it does. Julia looks strong.
Taako doesn’t acknowledge him.
“Taako, that’s not the parchment.” Kravitz, helpfully, nudges it towards him. Maybe it’s just a misunderstanding. Maybe they won’t go down for willful buttercrime, they’ll get a reduced sentence because it was an accident.
“Rules guy, are we?” Taako’s still piping.
Kravitz is, in fact, a rules guy. Why would they exist if they weren’t important?
Taako stops piping.
“Taako!” Kravitz doesn’t shout, but he wants to.
“That’s cha’boy’s handle.”
“That’s a fish.”
Taako looks offended. “It’s a horse.”
Kravitz does the weird snorty laugh he usually saves for home.
“Honse.” Taako points at the cake. “Look at his beautiful flowing mane.”
“That’s a fin.”
“Horse fin.”
“Horses don’t have fins.”
“Fish don’t have manes.” Taako says like he’s winning at something.
He’s not.
“If he’s a horse then where are his teeth?”
“Oh, Taako sees your game, you think horses have to be happy all the time, do you? Got to pander to your human whims and do a nice big horsey smile so you can appreciate what a nice horse life they have? What if his wife just left him? What then, my guy? Does he still have to smile for you?”
“He clearly left his horse wife.” Kravitz shrugs nonchalantly.
“Why?” Taako leans in, desperate for the gossip.
“Because he was a fish, and she was a horse, can I make it any more obvious?”
“She had a trunk, and he didn’t neigh.”
“What more can I say?” Kravitz mutters quickly before tackling the bigger question, because he’s a gentleman. “Horses don’t have trunks. I’m deeply concerned about your equine knowledge.”
“Maybe you’re the one that isn’t as much of a horse specialist as you thought, hmmm? Ever think about that? Maybe, just maybe, you’re not Dr Horse; King of Horses.”
Kravitz tries very hard not to be offended, but it’s not nice to be doubted. “I’ve got three PhDs in horse, actually, it’s Dr Dr Dr Horse, King of Horses to you.”
Taako picks up the piping bag again. “Well what if…” He pipes a glorious un-horselike appendage.”
“That’s a…?”
Taako squidges the bag again.
“Horn.” Taako says with confidence.
“Two horns.”
“Yep.” Taako looks pleased with himself. “Horse!”
“And you think that they have…”
“Garyl does.” Taako says firmly. “Are you going to tell him to his beautiful horse face that he isn’t one?”
“No.” Kravitz says, because he’s not. Mostly because there’s no chance he’s telling Taako to his very handsome face that he’s very bad at cake art. Or that the Longhorn Cowfish exists.
“What’s that?” Taako’s wielding the bag again.
“Tentacle.” Taako’s tongue is poking out of the corner of his mouth as he concentrates and it makes Kravitz’s chest ache with longing for… something. The last of the evening sun is streaming through the window, Taako’s glowy and glorious and Kravitz longs to take a photo just so he can keep the moment in his pocket. It feels good, it feels like they’re on the same side, it’s them against the cake establishment. It’s been a long time since he felt like he had an ally.
“It’s a horse tentacle?” Kravitz asks, just in case there’s a chance Taako is pivoting to something more sea themed.
“Horse tentacle.” He confirms.
“Taako, horses don’t have…” Kravitz thinks he should probably be exasperated, worried that whether it’s a horse or a fish, or an octopus, it’s definitely not right. Not that he’s an expert in animal maths, but horse + fish probably doesn’t equal dog, even if you squint.
“Then why does this one?” Taako’s raw confidence is terrible and wonderful to behold. Maybe Kravitz can learn from him. Is this how he defeats Lydia and Edward? Can he ask Taako if they can meet up again so he can learn? ‘If I buy you a drink or three can you teach me your raw charisma to help me deal with my shit colleagues please?’ surely can’t fail…
“Is everything okay here?” Julia stands in front of their counter, brow furrowed like she’s worried. To be fair, they definitely haven’t got anything that looks like fur happening.
“Yep.” Taako smiles up at her like he isn’t busy creating an abomination of both buttercream and nature.
“And you’re okay…” She takes a moment to remember his name. “Kravitz?”
“Oh, yes. Everything’s fine.” Kravitz lies, because Garyl needs a vet, or three, a whole team of specialists.
“It didn’t seem fine when you were fighting.” Julia looks pointedly at Taako.
“We’re not fighting!” Taako’s indignant, offended at the accusation. “We were just discussing taxonomy.”
Julia turns to Kravitz. “If you need us to find you a different station?”
“Did I do something wrong?” Oh, oh no, Kravitz straightens in shock. He isn’t this person. He’s good at classes, he’s good at teacher interaction, he has never ever ever had a bad grade and he doesn’t plan to start now.
“What? No.” Kravitz is very used to the perplexed expression that Julia is wearing. People direct it at him a lot. He wishes he wasn’t so familiar.
“She thinks I’m bothering you, handsome.”
“You’re not bothering me!” Kravitz replies before he processes the second part of the sentence. Taako thinks he’s handsome! He said it so he must mean it.
“Well you’re not bothering me. In fact I think you should not bother me after class and take Taako out for a drink. Cha’boy has some theories about how giraffes look that’re going to blow your mind.”
Kravitz resolutely doesn’t think about how there is another thing he would let Taako blow. “Yes… Yes absolutely, I’d like that a lot Taako.”
“Gross.” Julia says happily. “Glad we could necessitate…” She pauses and waves her hand between them “... whatever this is with your fucked up fish cake.”
“It’s a horse!” They say indignant, unjustified, and perfectly synchronised.

i need me some more hoodrat chris bestie pleasee😣
maybe another scenario where reader is out with her friends and some guy won’t leave her alone so she says “ just wait till my man gets here ” and then the guy is like “ i ain’t scared of no lil white boy” and then chris shows up with his blicky 😋😋😋
Racketeer Pt. 2
Pairing: Chris Sturniolo X Female Reader
Synopsis: Y/N and her friends are out clubbing for her best friends birthday, but this one guy won’t leave them alone. She calls Chris and he’s ready to kill for her🖤
Warnings⚠️: Once again pure self indulgence of hoodrat Chris, but also there’s talks of a pew pew in here obviously🤭 so enjoyyyy
Song for the imagine: No Suburban, Pt.2- Sheff G
You get shot down if you play his songs
I keeps Glock round’, I would let it off
Chris hated it when I went out alone, or with my homegirls because he felt like he couldn’t be there to protect me. Honestly I preferred it because Chris would watch every one like a hawk, and was prepared to pop a cap on anybody.
Tonight was my best friend's birthday, and she wanted to go to all the clubs downtown, and bar hop, but she wanted it just a girls night out. So when I told Chris this you can imagine the shock on his face
“Just the girls….” He said looking at me
“Yes Chris, just the girls” I said laughing
“Ima be like Batman…sneaking into that bitch and hiding in the shadows” he said
“Okayyyy creeper much” I said laughing at him again
“I’m kidding ma, but if anybody tries some crazy shit you know what to do” he said
“Yes I do, call you, ignore the person and hope you don’t pop the guy” I said rolling my eyes
“Exactly! This is why I love you” he said coming over and kissing me
Tonight was the night of my best friends extravaganzas, and I was currently finishing up getting ready. Chris decided he would drop me off at the first club since he didn’t trust Uber drivers and me alone. He’s very protective
I had gotten all dolled up in a black short sleeve long bodycon dress with glittery silver heels on, and my glitter clutch. I had done my hair and makeup up (however you want it be)
I walked out to the living room to let Chris know I was ready to go
“Baby I’m ready” I said walking to him in the living room
“Ouuuuuu someone’s looking real fucking good” he said reaching his hands out to grab me
“Aww thank you baby” I said leaning down and kissing him
“Alright let’s head out” he said grabbing my hand and walking us to his car
After about 30 minutes we had gotten downtown and to the first club. He put the car in park
“Alight baby I Love you, and I’ll keep you posted the whole night” I said giving him a kiss
“Love you too mama, and just know I’ll be right by my phone. If anything happens please baby call me” he said with puppy dog eyes
“I will my love” I said giving him one last kiss before heading out
My best friend and our homegirls and I were all partying and having a blast, she got a VIP section in the third club we were at. I had a few drinks and I was feeling good. Texting Chris every 20 minutes that everything was okay, and even sending him selfies and pictures of the girls and me.
I had decided to go to the bathroom alone which was probably the first biggest mistake of the night. To get to the bathroom I had to pass the cigar smoking area and the men’s bathroom, and that’s when I started to realize I might’ve done something stupid.
As I was walking to the bathroom some man stopped me
“Hey beautiful, where are you headed?” He asked me
“To the restroom” I said bluntly
“You should come hang with the real gentlemen up here” he said smirking down at me
“No, I'm good. I’m here with my friends” I said giving him a fake smile
“They can join us too” he said looking over at his friends
“We all have boyfriends. No thanks” I said, and with that I walked to the bathroom
Should I tell Chris? Should I not…..no he’ll come in here and create a big ass show.
I finished using the bathroom, and had to walk back pass these animals
“Nothing weird come sit with us” he yells as I speed past him
“I said no! Don’t you understand the word no? Leave me alone” I said shooing him with my hand and walking back down to our VIP area
“Hey girl where you been” my friend asks me
“I went to use the bathroom, and this creep wouldn’t stop talking to me” I said to them
“Oh god don’t let Chris find out” she said and started to laugh
“Honestly if he keeps trying me I will call Christopher” I said to them
About 20 minutes later we were all dancing in the VIP area when I feel eyes on me from above, so I look up, and that creepy guy with all his friends were watching my friends and I…..they looked like they were hunting for their next snack.
“FUCKING GO AWAY” I yelled up at him
“JUST ONE CHANCE BABY, ONE DANCE” he yelled back
“YO CREEPY GUYS WE ALL HAVE SHOOTER BOYFRIENDS I SUGGEST YOU BACK OFF” my best friend screamed at him
“WE DONT CARE ABOUT NO BOYFRIENDS” he yelled back
“LEAVE US ALONEEEEE” my other friend screamed at them, and we just went back to dancing
I’m going to say another 20 minutes went by, and all of a sudden these guys are walking towards our VIP area.
“Y/N I’m thinking now’s a good time to call Chris” my one friends said
“I think I will” I said grabbing my phone out of my purse
But before I could call Chris this asshole came up to us
“Come on pretty girl, why won’t you give me a chance” he said frowning
“Like I said I have a man” I said sipping my drink, and not even looking at him
“Oh baby I won’t tell no one” he said smiling at me
“Can you go away like I literally keep saying I have a man, and I don’t want to talk to you” I said rolling my eyes at him
“Well too bad baby. I won’t stop” he said trying to walk closer to me
“Oh no” I said sticking my foot out and pushing him back with my heel
“Just fucking wait till my man gets here” I said grabbing my phone to call Chris
“I ain’t scared of no lil white boy” he said laughing at me
I hit Chris contact and put the phone to my ear
“Hey baby, parties over already?” he asked laughing a bit
“Chris…” I said, and he immediately knew
“Where are you? And who’s bothering you” he said, and I heard him get off the bed
“I’m at Raven, and it’s some guy here who will not leave the girls and I alone. Like I just had to push him away with my foot he was getting so close” I told him
“Stay right there baby, and Ima be there real fast” he said, and I heard him load up his gun, and cock it
Oh boy these guys were in for a treat. About 30 minutes passed, and I saw Chris walking through the crowd
“Yooo Christopher” my best friend said giving him a handshake
“Thank you baby” I said as he came and sat next to me on the little couch
“Always baby, always” he said kissing my head
“Other than that creep how’s the birthday night going” he asked my friends
“Oh it’s going greattttt” they all said clearly very tipsy
I saw the guy again in the crowd watching us, and I knew he was about to come over
“That’s him Chris” I said tapping Chris, and having him look at the guy
Chris looked over at the guy dropping his face, and giving the guy a smug smirk
The guy still had the balls to walk over
“Ahhh the little boy toy” the guy said walking into our area
“Mmm I’d watch how I’m speaking to my man” I said to the guy
“Or what?” He said laughing
Chris laughed and leaned back allowing his pistol to be slightly exposed in his waistband.
“I’d choose my next words carefully” Chris said looking at the guy
“Who do you think you are” the guy said getting pissed
In a swift moment Chris got up, pulling the guy close to him, and placing the pistol at the guys dick
“I’m her boyfriend, and she’s been telling me you and your little stupid ass friends have been bothering her and her friends all night. Is this true” Chris asked him
“I don’t know what she’s saying” the guy said looking at Chris in fright
“IS THIS TRUE” he said pushing the barrel harder into the guys dick
“OKAY YES YES” he said getting scared
“If a lady tells you no, and she has a man you BACK THE FUCK OFF” Chris said to the guy
“Yeah yeah sure I got it” he said starting to sweat
“I’m not sure that you do get it…..maybe I have to pull the trigger” Chris said and started to cock the gun
“NO NO IM SORRY OKAY. I NEVER MEANT TO BOTHER THEM IM SORRY PLEASE LET ME GO” the guy started to weep into Chris arms
“Yeah, and guess what you’re paying for their whole tab, or I’ll be waiting outside for you, and I’ll split your fucking wig GOT IT” Chris said to the guy
“Yes I’m sorry I’m sorry” the guy said putting his hands up
“Now get the fuck outta here you fucking pussy before I change my mind and blow your dick off” Chris said pushing him back
The guy ran away, and Chris placed the pistol back in his waistband
“Fucking pussy….the fuck he thought he was” Chris said looking over his shoulder at the scared man
“Uhhh I love when you do that Chris” I said pulling him in to sit next to me
“I told you I’d do anything for you, and if it means popping someone…I’m gonna fucking do it” he said slinging his arm over my shoulder and giving me a kiss.
“To Chris for saving the day” my best friend screamed and we all cheered our cups together
I guess I’m in love with a shootah!

A/N: it's Yoongi's POV!!! yes i'm on the midnight sun trend hehe. sorry for the slight delay, but here it is in all its glory, hopefully you'll enjoy this chapter too ^^
I threw back the remnants of my whiskey and sighed with the pleasant burn. I wasn’t exactly having the best evening and I entirely blamed Jimin for it. And Tae too, he wasn’t about to get off scot-free. I wasn’t even supposed to be in Dynamite tonight and the incessant buzzing of my phone in my pocket kept reminding me that I was sorely needed in The Rose to deal with a difficult customer.
The longer I stood in the hallway leaning against a wall waiting for Taehyung to show up, the more nervous and pissier I was growing. Someone kept blowing up my phone as if that was going to get me there faster, when I had to take over from Namjoon to deliver these documents and Taehyung was late. I tapped my foot on the floor impatiently and hypnotised the corner leading to back to the club with my eyes. It was just one of those nights.
Ten minutes later I finally lost my patience and made my way back into the main room and beelined straight for the bar.
“Hyung,” Yeonjun greeted me as soon as I got there and automatically reached for my favourite whiskey, “Rough night?” I just hummed, too frustrated by the absolute shitstorm today was to keep up the friendly chatter.
“Some fucker’s tearing apart The Rose because Jimin messed up and Tae’s late,” I grumbled and accepted the glass gratefully. I kicked it back in a single gulp and handed the glass back along with the folder of documents. Yeonjun looked at it confused but accepted it nonetheless.
“Give this to Taehyung once he finally gets here, thanks,” I said and immediately turned to leave. It didn’t sit well with me leaving it here just like that, but Yeonjun was trustworthy, the kid’s proven himself a few times since he started working the bar here, so I at least felt a little consoled by that. And if he did try to fuck me over, I knew who I left it with last, so it would be fucking stupid.
My phone started buzzing again, but this time it was a phone call. Jimin. I gritted my teeth and moved back to the empty hallway to take it.
“Hyung, please, Mr. Cho is going to kill me,” Jimin pleaded immediately, “He’s been asking for you for the past 30 minutes.”
“You were the one that messed up his order, Jimin,” I said irritated, “You should deal with it.” There was a beat of silence which allowed me to hear the distant screaming in the background.
“I know, hyung, I’m sorry, it won’t happen again,” the blond man answered, and he sounded so genuinely remorseful, I didn’t have it in myself to keep scolding him. I let out a sigh and took it a bit easier on him.
“I told you to check the goods,” I chided him a bit more gently, “and to make sure you’re working with reliable sources. You sold him subpar shit for the full price. We can’t have that happening at The Rose.”
“I know, hyung,” Jimin repeated, and I could hear his pout through the phone, “I’m going to deal with Dongwook once I’m done here.” I smiled a little at that. Jimin often fooled people into thinking he’s soft and weak with his angelic looks, but he was a force to be reckoned with once crossed. So many have tried to fuck him over thinking he’s the weakest link only to be very painfully proven wrong by him.
“Take Kookie with you, I think he’s with Namjoon right now,” I told him simply, much less angry than when the conversation started. I checked my watch again. Taehyung was still nowhere to be seen, even though he told me he’d be here almost a half hour ago. Jimin on the other side of the phone just hummed.
“Do you know where Taehyung is?” I asked him, some frustration making it back into my voice, “I’m going to have to teach him what 30 minutes mean.” Jimin started answering but was cut off by aggressive knocking on a door somewhere in his background.
“Oh no,” he just said, “That’s definitely Mr. Cho. When are you going to get here?” I sighed and pinched the root of my nose.
“Put him on the phone,” I told him and leaned fully on the wall to prepare myself for this. There was some shuffling, muffled screaming, then the door opened and suddenly I could hear the man yelling at full volume. Jimin told him something and it made him calm down a little. Then I could hear heavy breathing.
“Mr. Min,” Cho growled into the receiver, “Explain yourself. I paid full buck for this shit, it’s barely consumable. I gave it to my boys and they barely even touched it.”
“Calm down Mr. Cho,” I said calmly, “Jimin made a mistake by not checking it over, but there seems to be some attempt from our suppliers to fuck us over. We’re thoroughly investigating it now, my apologies. If you could wait a few days, I’ll get you your usual. And a guaranteed discount on the next batch.” Technically, I wasn’t even lying. There was an attempt to fuck us over, only they weren’t our usual suppliers, they were some ghouls Jimin was trying out. I warned him to be sure they’re trustworthy and he assured me everything was under control. Sure seems like it…
“Fine,” Mr. Cho finally gritted out, “You’re so fucking lucky your services are otherwise top-tier, or else I’d you have you swimming with the fish.” I fought to supress a scoff. Mr. Cho has always been like this, all bark no balls. He loved to threaten others as if he had some power, but all he had was a hefty inheritance that has thinned considerably through the years he spent getting high in my clubs. Always quick to blow up and throw his name around, but calmed down the moment he spoke to me cause he knew I wouldn’t tolerate his bullshit.
Jimin fucking hated him and hated dealing with him, cause he’d always get yelled at for everything, but it would get resolved the moment I’d get involved even though I said the same thing Jimin did just moments before me. Mr. Cho would always grumble and make vague threats, but ultimately go with it cause he knew if one of us had the power to make people disappear in the river, it was definitely me. That’s why I occasionally took the time to remind him of his place.
“Be careful with your words, Mr. Cho, to some they could be taken as a provocation,” I warned him with a faux friendly tone, “Give the phone back to Jimin.” The order was clear, and Mr. Cho didn’t even argue more, thoroughly settled and not interested in getting into more trouble. There was some shuffling and then Jimin was back on the line.
“Hyung, thank you,” he heaved a sigh of relief as the door slammed shut on his side, “He just left. I don’t fucking understand why he always needs to hear from you when I tell him the same shit. What did you tell him anyway? He deflated like a carnival balloon.” Jimin chuckled a little and I hummed.
“The usual stuff,” I answered vaguely, “I gotta go now. If you hear from Taehyung, tell him he’s dead meat.” With that I hung up and went back to the bar.
Only, I stopped dead in my tracks on the way over. There, sitting on a bar looking incredibly out of place in plain t-shirt and jeans, sipping on a drink and watching the dancefloor with intense displeasure, was a quite familiar face.
Immediately on my return from the station last week I had Jungkook run a background check on the new officer in the force. I was surprised I managed to miss they got a newbie, but now I was as familiar with her as she was with me. What I didn’t expect though, was running into her in one of my clubs. I took a moment to watch her, coming up with a strategy on how to deal with this. Either she’s here undercover or she’s a naughty cop and wants something. And finding out which one would infinitely improve my day.
Mood instantly better at the prospect, I made my way over to her side. Looking back, I had no idea I was about to step into something that changed the course of my entire life.
In terms of first meetings, it was a tense one. Surprisingly, I found her quite easy to read, with her pursed lips in annoyance and fire in her eyes. She had the aura of a new young cop, eager to prove themselves, eager to solve all crime. It made me want to mess with her.
Every fibre of her being just screamed ambition and conviction, and even though I could see her naivety, I sensed the sharp edge that she was carrying inside. I knew, this was a person that has fought for everything, and they would continue to claw their way up until they tore themselves a piece of the world they deserved. In shock I realised I saw a little bit of my younger self in her, which forced a surprised laugh out of me. We both strived for different things, but I recognised the emotion with startling clarity.
Maybe that was what led me to talking more openly than I usually did. But somewhere deep down I needed her to understand. The world isn’t what she wants it to be, especially not in these parts. The sooner she would realise that the easier it would be to swallow.
Really, I shouldn’t even have been surprised when one day Jungkook came into my office with a tablet in hand and a serious look on his face. I immediately turned away from my notebook and leaned to the side, preparing myself for whatever he had to show me.
When the tablet finally did make it in front my face, it was a picture of a black, old and slightly banged up car. The car that we’ve noticed cruising suspiciously around a little too much. Jungkook’s tattooed finger swiped right and the next picture showed a close up of a driver taken probably from some nearby security camera. It was our little friendly neighbourhood police officer.
I smirked to myself. So, it seems she does not in fact know how to step away from things that might prove to be a little too much for someone with her ambition. I hummed to myself a little, not knowing whether I was disapproving or impressed at her continued ignorance despite my warnings.
Jungkook swiped one last time to a document showing the license plate being registered to her name. I laughed and leaned back, making myself comfortable in the chair. Jungkook, on the other hand, sighed and put the tablet away.
“What do you wanna do about that?” he asked seemingly neutral, but I knew the look on his face. It was the kind of disapproval I saw in him often when police force was involved. He believed I should be more careful and not toe the line with the detectives this much. Jungkook already knew I wouldn’t ask for him to deal with it, but that I would let things progress naturally, and he was preparing himself for swallowing the order down even though his opinions differed.
“Jungkookie…” I sighed, “What am I supposed to say when you look at me like that?” I teased him gently, giving him a little smile.
“Hyung, you know how I feel about this,” he explained softly, looking a little more like a kid when he pursed his lips like that. I often felt guilty about pulling him into this shit all those years ago, no matter how much Jimin insisted the kid’s okay with it, that’s why I always treasured those moments when it was just the two of us, when Jungkook would stop being the mad dog protecting a criminal and go back to a youngster playing around with his hyung. I patted his shoulder and tried to look as reassuring as possible.
“It’s fine, Jungkookie,” I assured him, “I’m not gonna get in trouble.” He looked at me like a kid that already knew the Santa wasn’t real and felt insulted his parents still tried to bullshit him every Christmas.
“You’re playing with fire too much,” Jungkook answered petulantly, “You’re making my job infinitely more difficult.” I sighed and stood up. Jungkook had a sudden growth spurt some years ago and now towered over me like a mountain, so I found myself looking up even though I wanted to console him. I gently clasped my hands over both of his shoulders and smiled again.
“It’s going to be okay,” I whispered, “I swear. I know what I’m doing.” He frowned but ultimately said nothing.
“Let her be for some time,” I ended up declaring after a moment of silence, “I want to know what she’s doing. What she wants to know. Then we decide what to do next.” Jungkook tensely nodded and looked out of the window with a grumpy face. I laughed at him a little and patted his head. That set his mood a little better.
“Do you think they’re back to tailing us?” he asked eventually. I had gone back to looking over the email I had been in the middle of answering, so I looked up at the younger man surprised he chose to continue with the subject.
“Hard to say,” I hummed thoughtfully, “I don’t think so. She’s not using the official police car, but hers. I bet she’s on her own.” I wondered what she was trying to do, following me for days. With a slight smile I looked out of the window and zeroed in on her car parked a little ways away from the building, but still within eyesight.
What game are you playing, officer?
In the end Jungkook didn’t let me allow her to stalk us longer than a few days before he started pushing me to deal with it properly. There wasn’t a clear read of what her goal was, which disappointed me a little. I doubt she was in it just to follow me around and watch me run errands, but maybe I was expecting a little more than she actually planned on achieving. I didn’t know why that bummed me out so much and I didn’t want to dwell on it, lest I start sinking into some uncomfortable realisations.
I was aware that part of this sudden sympathy was coming from knowing her personal history, and I couldn’t have that. Not when her story was so similar to my boys, not when it made me soft while dealing with potential danger to everything we worked so hard for.
She was the other side of the coin of kids growing up on the street – you either end up a criminal or the police. Her injustice made her want to solve everything wrong with this world. Our injustice made us realise the perfect way to exploit a broken system. But really, we were both one and the same, born from the same mud and moulded by the same violence.
In some way, it made it even harder for me to understand how she could stand on the side of the law.
But in the end, I did have to deal with it. Except I wouldn’t. Few days later when I was sitting in my office with clear view of her car and Jungkook’s burning eyes throwing daggers my way, I decided it was time to test her a little. Just a little push wouldn’t hurt.
I went out the side door, the one I knew she wasn’t aware of so I could give her a little surprise. And I wasn’t disappointed. Laughing at her frustration was easy, toying with her notebook and watching her nervously eye me was easy, teasing her was easy, and before I knew it, it slipped out.
“Good job. Try a bit harder next time, though.”
The second I said it I knew Jungkook was absolutely going to whoop my ass and Namjoon will wholeheartedly agree that I deserve a good thrashing. But I also had my own game and the burning of her eyes when she internally cursed me out made me want to see where this one was going. I left with a pep in my step even though I felt Jungkook’s disapproving aura.
“Relax, Kookie,” I told him once we were comfortably sat in our car, “We just need to know where exactly she’s going with this.” The man just stared at me blankly before resigning on this.
“Fine, but if I think she’s getting too close, I’ll report her to the police for stalking and harassment,” he growled and sulked the entire rest of the way. I couldn’t even tell him not to do that, so I conceded on it. We both knew what the stakes were.
“We haven’t been visited by our blue friends in a while,” commented Taehyung one normal Saturday and thus cursed it into existence, as not even ten minutes later Jungkook got a call the cops are demanding entrance into Pied Piper.
I groaned and leaned my head on the top of the couch, as the two youngsters started bickering.
“You just had to fucking jinx it,” Jungkook whined and Taehyung laughed at him. “We were all thinking it!” was his defence while popping fruits in his mouth. I tried to just disappear into the sofa. Today I was not in the mood for the police at all.
“God, why now,” I allowed myself to whine out and pout a little, giving them a little rare cute display of displeasure. I was fucking exhausted, it was one hell of a week dealing with the mess Jimin made.
The rats were trying to dodge us and make a run for it, maybe seek help from one of our rival gangs, but I had Jimin and Hobi track them down before the end of the week. As usual, Hoseok worked his magic and found them within two days, but the problem was they already moved onto enemy turf. And if I didn’t want this to turn into a big mess, I had to bargain them out. So I spent the week going back and forth with the Kims. First I tried being nice, explaining to them I will deal with this and it will be easier for all involved if they just move over and let us do our thing, until I ultimately had to subtly threaten them to get the fuck out of my way or we burn our path through their ranks too. I had just enough of snarky interactions for one week.
I swore that once this has been dealt with, I would fucking tear Jimin into two and the man was very well aware of that, so he has been acting cute and sending me little gifts, teasingly telling me he’s “trying to get back into my good graces”. That did put a little smile on my face again, as I did have a huge soft spot for him, and gave me tiny bit of energy to deal with this tonight. I sighed. The sooner this is over the better. I resignedly gestured at Jungkook, and he immediately called back to allow them entry.
“I bet you 200 bucks the other half is trying to mess with the dinner the mayor planned for today in your hotel’s restaurant,” Taehyung said eagerly, moving closer to us to look at us expectantly. I looked towards Jungkook, too tired to play this game and kind of hoping for him to take the lead, but he only shrugged.
“Ugh, I think it might be The Rose,” I said eventually when the silence stretched on for too long, “they may have caught wind of the scene Mr. Cho made there.” We both looked at Jungkook again, but he didn’t say anything and just threw his hands up in an ‘I have no idea’ gesture.
Few minutes later the bouncer entered the balcony and behind him Jang and lo and behold – officer Lee, our righteous stalker, the warrior of broken laws. Immediately, my mood skyrocketed. Now this should be fun.
“Did we crash a funeral or what? What’s with the fits?”
That startled a laugh out of me. What an entrance. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Taehyung leaning forward in interest and immediately knew that these two, if given the chance, are going to be the biggest menaces and pains in my ass.
I’ll be honest, I did want to test her a little. Find out how strong her resolve actually is and how good she is at reading the room. While Jang pissed me off and kept his mouth running, I focused on her body language and facial expressions, which was a beautiful blend of resistance and nervousness. I thoroughly enjoyed the uneasiness with which she was watching everything around her, no doubt remembering our first official meeting. “No one is above the law”? Well, look at you now, officer. Unwittingly I smirked into my glass.
This time, I took my time to ease into the teasing and tested her reaction to little quips here and there. I knew she wouldn’t want me to go talking about the time she spent lurking in front of my office, ever since I confirmed her actions weren’t sanctioned by the department, so I tried an inconspicuous little remark about it.
I wasn’t disappointed.
It took me years to perfect “the stare”. The maknaes especially always made fun of it, but even they couldn’t deny it worked. While yes, part of it was an intimidation technique, but what I truly was interested in was the person’s reaction and, inevitably, when they met my eyes, what I would find reflected in them. Cowards wouldn’t meet my eyes at all, those who tried to put up a fight but ultimately would break under the pressure looked for a moment and then turned away or their eyes flitted around and never stayed on anything for too long. Shifty people who tried to fuck me over also had a specific look to them, I could tell just from a single glance that they were greasy motherfuckers not worth anyone’s while.
What I saw in her eyes when she looked at me head on, was pure fire. For a moment I lamented that she wasn’t on our side, because I would kill to recruit someone like this for us. She was playing it well, and even though I could see her discomfort, there was weight to her stare, and a challenge. From the corner of my eye, I could see Taehyung watching her with rapt interest and even Jungkook seemed to pay more attention. They knew about the trials I sometimes put people through, and would no doubt ask me after the police left what I had seen.
I smiled and relaxed. I could see Taehyung do the same while he leisurely sipped on his margarita. He undeniably already knew. Very well then, for now we would continue playing this game. I even found myself quite eager to see what was in store for us in the next few weeks.
It’s not that the other policemen were bad or lacking, well, some of them were, but particularly Park and Jang, who I’ve seen the most around, they weren’t exactly bad at their job. Just… Park was a little too old-school, he was intelligent and experienced, but left lagging behind the modern world. His eyes spoke of an upright but boring man, a jerk but one that couldn’t care less about some clown sitting in an expensive suit in a club he owned spouting bullshit. That’s why I did quite like the man, I could respect him to some extent, despite everything.
Jang on the other hand, my dislike for him knew no bounds. He was a slimy little shifty fucker, all polite smiles and acting decent, but I’ve dealt with enough scumbags to know not to trust a guy like that. There was something about him that rubbed me the wrong way and made me wary of him; honestly, I was just waiting for him to slip up to deal with him.
When they left, just as I expected, Taehyung leaned towards me and whispered: “So that was quite good.” I hummed and kept my eyes trained on the stairs. Jungkook had left to deal with the situation at the office, where presumably Namjoon had been going through another impromptu interview, so we were the only ones left in the club.
“It was definitely interesting,” I answered finally. This time it was Taehyung that hummed.
“So it’s safe to say we’re not getting rid of her that easily,” he mused out loud in between chomping on strawberries and sipping on a fresh drink. I snorted and looked at him. I gestured at Soobin, who was left here by Jungkook to supervise over me until he either returns or I go home, and he nodded and made his way back to the bar to get me another whiskey.
“No, I think we’ve only just begun.”
I finally checked my phone to see a few messages from Joon and surprisingly even one from Hobi. I scanned through Namjoon’s, which could be summed up to “police showed up, don’t worry I have everything under control”. I wasn’t too sure what Park was trying to achieve by this, but I trusted Namjoon to deal with these things completely. We’ve been by each other’s side for as long as I could remember and we’ve seen it all together, I knew his capabilities and there wasn’t anything the police could do to move him.
Taking the fresh whiskey from Soobin who had just returned, I opened the chat with Hobi. His message was short, simple and perfectly ominous.
Hope, 19:22: got em hyung, me w/ boys gonna deal with it 2nite
I smiled and sipped the cool drink, at long last able to fully relax into the couch and just let the background hum of music lull me into a state of comfortable calm. At least one thing would be handled. Next to me I could hear Taehyung make mindless conversation with Soobin, but at that point I was already half asleep. With a slight smirk on my lips, I took another sip and knew. No one would fuck with me.
“Is it just me or we haven’t seen our little detective in a while?” Tae asked while leisurely lying on a sofa in my office. Seokjin turned to him and then back to me to gauge my reaction. I made sure to keep my face neutral as I returned his stare.
“Last time you said that they showed up like ten minutes later,” I murmured looking out of the window on the snowy streets as if expecting the police van to materialise out of thin air.
“Yeah, well, she hasn’t been around for a hot minute,” Taehyung reiterated, his eyes jumping between his two hyungs and waiting would take the bait and entertain him with a conversation, “There was a week when hyung couldn’t even piss without her knowing about it.”
“Why are you so interested in that?” Seokjin asked neutrally, leaned against a bookshelf on the wall opposite of the sofa, “All I hear from Jungkook is grumbling that Yoongi’s being stupid and it’s a safety concern.” I scoffed and looked back towards the two men.
“It’s hardly that,” I said calmly, “I don’t know what he’s expecting me to do, she’s still the police. She’s breaking the laws, yes, which is hilarious by the way, but I’m not petty enough to go through the whole ordeal of reporting her just for sniffing around our business a little.” Seokjin gave me a look, a look that was so specific to him and exactly what I’d been afraid of, that I just dodged his eyes for my own sanity. I hoped Taehyung would keep his mouth shut because Jin, even though he acted silly a lot of the times, had the clairvoyant gift of perfectly guessing what was going through our heads at any given moment. I quickly spun around and averted his gaze despite the fact that it made me look even more suspicious. I just had to keep him from saying anything while Taehyung was still here, because the younger man could not keep himself from telling all the hyungs and Jungkook everything and I had no intention of being discussed like that.
“When is Hobi getting here?” I decided to change the subject. There was a moment of silence, and I could almost see Jin sending Tae warning glances to not bring it up anymore even though I had my back turned to them.
“He should be here in a few,” Seokjin answered at last and brought over to my table the cup of tea he was making, “It’s supposed to be a calming mix. It might not do much, but it’s better than whiskey.” I thanked him politely and the room slipped into silence again as I sipped it slowly while Jin watched me like a hawk.
Suddenly there was a groan coming from the sofa and Taehyung was clambering to his feet. “I can’t fucking take it anymore, I’m so bored,” he whined and skipped over to my table, “hyungs, let’s do something.” He did the thing when he tried to be cute (he was cute, but I made it my personal goal to never tell him or he’ll take advantage of it), started pouting and grabbed my shoulder lightly.
“Go take a walk then, he needs a moment of rest,” Jin told him resolutely. He clearly decided not to fall for it today, even though he usually indulged the younger man. “After all, that’s why I’m here in the first place.”
Taehyung dropped the cutesy act and teasingly scowled at him before walking back over to the sofa to grab his phone. He just jokingly whined “You can be so mean, hyung” and was gone out the door before anyone could reply anything.
Once the door shut closed, Jin’s full attention suddenly was on me, and I grew a little nervous. He wouldn’t let anything slide and took his role as a doctor and a hyung very seriously, especially since he was the only one who was older than me and thus had a little bit of authority over my stubborn ass. I knew that Jin and Namjoon often consulted each other on how to approach me, Joon would oftentimes notice something and immediately snitch to Jin cause he knew Jin was the only one I allowed to care for me in such a capacity. It wasn’t unusual that Namjoon would raise a concern about my health, and I would tell him it’s nothing, only to have Jin coming to my house later that day, fully informed and prepared to deal with it (and me).
“How’s your migraines been?” Jin decided to play it safe at first, dancing around what he actually wanted to ask.
“Shit,” I replied dryly and squinted my eyes at him. He looked at me with worry and I sighed. “It’s been getting better,” I begrudgingly told him, and he gave me a look a parent gives their annoying child.
“You need to rest more,” Jin started, and I groaned. Once he got into full parent mode and began nagging, nothing could stop him. Poor Kookie had to listen to a 30-minute-long lecture about the risks of smoking every time he only looked in a direction of a cigarette pack, which then almost every time moved on to us for being bad influence on him. Especially Namjoon who was basically glued to a cigarette. I have over the years got out of the habit and now mostly smoked only occasionally, much to Jin’s content.
“I know, I know,” I stopped him and started imitating him, “I need to sleep more and eat better and drink less alcohol, work less and have other hobbies other than hanging out around bars.” Jin gave me an unimpressed look and pursed his lips.
“So sorry for caring for your measly pathetic life, Mr. Bossman,” he retorted sassily and went to sit down on the sofa. Then he pierced me with his eyes again and I knew there was no running from this.
“So what’s all this about?” he asked and I started speaking basically even before he finished. “Nothing.” Jin raised his eyebrow and relaxed into the couch. “Really now?”
“Yes, no matter what Kookie says, I know what I’m doing,” I said resolutely and gave Jin a look that made it clear we would not be speaking on this matter anymore. That softened the man a little and he relented.
“Okay then,” he said softly and smiled at me, “I trust you, Yoongi. I’m just trying to make sure you’re all safe. I would be a fool not to worry about the police.” While I accepted it was a slight dig at my approach to this, I also knew it was the closest I would get to Jin conceding and leaving this subject behind. I smiled at him with all the charm and charisma I could muster, and he just scoffed at me and busied himself with his own mug of tea.
Though I was also a little surprised, just as Taehyung, at the sudden absence of detective Lee. She was everywhere for a whole week and then just suddenly disappeared, but I was anticipating some sort of new plan was abrewing on her part. I supposed it wouldn’t take too long.
“What do you mean they’re messing with the docks?” I growled into the phone and stomped the cigarette butt into the ground. Namjoon next to me tensed up and also put down his cig only to immediately light up a new one. Hobi on the other side of the phone sighed and apologized.
“It seems that when we stormed them last month some little creative critters managed to slip by us,” the man explained over phone, “They’ve been sabotaging in the docks, stealing cargo and ganging up on some workers here and there, but we’ve got them now. Gonna deal with it tonight.” I scoffed, mildly annoyed but not wanting to take it out on him. Still, I couldn’t stop a little petty remark.
“Funny, I think I already heard that from you once,” I said gruffly and looked over the street to where Jungkook’s car just pulled up. Namjoon waved at me, gestured towards the young man and then set out to welcome him and bring him up to my office.
“I know, hyung, I’m sorry for messing up the first time,” Hobi said with genuine remorse, and I felt like I was inside a one huge déjà vu as he sounded the same as Jimin when he apologised for causing this whole ordeal in the first place. I sighed and softened my voice. After all, this was just a bad month, I knew their abilities.
“It’s fine, I’m just annoyed with how persistent they’re becoming,” I explained to him and also slowly moved towards the office entrance, “who would have thought that they would be this hard to deal with?” Hobi laughed and I heard some shuffling noises from his side, slight murmuring and then a bang of a door.
“It’s good we’ve dealt with them now; they were on a good way to becoming unbelievable menaces. Thank god they trusted themselves enough to mess with us this early while still unprepared for the retaliation, or I bet we’d spend weeks slowly eradicating them like annoying pests.” I laughed at Hobi’s words and nodded even though he couldn’t see me.
“Hubris has a funny way of catching up to you,” I mused quietly, Hobi only humming and then suddenly exclaiming loudly.
“Oh! That’s right!” he shouted out suddenly making me flinch a little. “Christ, Hobi,” I grumbled, “You’re going to make me embarrass myself. What’s up?” The man laughed a little and continued.
“Kookie’s on his way with some very interesting footage you’ll want to see,” the man said mysteriously with a happy lilt to his voice, “We found it when checking the security cameras for the little fuckers messing with our cargo.” I hummed, secretly smiling at the younger man’s antics while waiting for the damn elevator to come to the ground floor.
“He just got here, he’s with Namjoon upstairs. I’m on my way up too,” I told him and finally stepped into the elevator.
“Oh, I better go then,” the man laughed, “I have my plate full here anyway.” With that he hung up and I spent the rest of the ride up building anticipation on what Jungkook wanted to show me.
Upon walking into the office, I found Jungkook already showing something to a smirking Namjoon sitting in my chair. I regarded them both with slight suspicion and then wordlessly made my way to stand next to Jungkook. He immediately put the tablet away and I frowned. He was just about to open his mouth to explain to me, but I beat him to it.
“Hobi already told me you found something on the CCTV, so you can just show me,” I told him gruffly and motioned for him to put the tablet back on the table. He did. With a few quick swipes of his tatted fingers, he presented to me a video. I squinted my eyes at a it a little bit cause it was so dark and hard to see, automatically leaning forward towards the tablet.
It was a view from one of the side alleys by the warehouse we’ve been having troubles with. I was well acquainted with this camera, it was so nicely installed it became practically invisible to anyone who already didn’t know it was there, thus over the years it procured us some very useful evidence. For a moment there was no movement, just a dark alleyway in one of the seedier parts of this city, but then a figure appeared out of the shadows. They were dressed in all black and were slowly slinking by the wall with their eyes trained on something in front of them. We watched it for a few seconds and then the figure turned around and left.
I was just about to question Jungkook, when the man swiped and an enhanced picture of the figure filled the screen. I leaned towards it for a moment and then laughed. It was detective Lee. The picture was grainy and dark, it was quite hard to see, but that was unmistakenly the rookie cop sniffing around.
“The warehouses? What is she doing in the docks?” I speculated out loud.
“I don’t know but I don’t like her sniffing around there,” Jungkook said resolutely, “She’s probably looking for evidence.” I hummed thoughtfully.
“Well, she would have to break into the offices and decode the documents, which would be highly illegal and inadmissible in court, so I doubt she would do that,” I retorted and finally pushed Namjoon out of my chair to sit down, “She’s most likely looking for something specific.” Namjoon leaned over the table and gave us a mischievous smile.
“Or someone specific,” he pointed out. We both looked at him and pondered over it. “She could be just getting the hang of our locations,” Jungkook mused, “I think it’s more probable she just wants to be familiar with the places that we own. Or she thinks we’re just doing illegal shit out in the daylight like a bunch of idiots.” I laughed at that, but the first part of the statement was definitely possible.
“We have to wait for a little more,” I told them both, “She’ll reveal her cards soon.” Jungkook gave me a look but said nothing. Namjoon was just watching us with a smile. I knew the younger man was getting antsy because he cared about my safety and this detective was getting closer than the others. But that was also her weakness – to get more info she abandoned the law, so while yes, she was more determined to find out, but also she was making herself more unreliable to the force and in the eyes of the court. It was a slippery slope for her.
The situation would need some supervision, for sure, but in the end we had the upper hand cause we could report her anytime and cost her the position in the force. I hummed again and smirked.
“We’ll deal with this shortly, don’t worry,” I attempted to soothe the man, “Right now we have to focus on the fiasco with these dealers.” At the change of subject both of the men perked up.
“Do you know anything about how Hobi-hyung wants to go about this?” Namjoon asked Jungkook. They were both standing at the opposite sides of my table looking at each other. Kookie deliberated a little before saying: “He didn’t say much, just that they’re doing it tomorrow. He’s pretty pissed they managed to dodge him, so he’s most probably not gonna be very nice.” To that both me and Namjoon laughed.
“Good,” I said, “They’ve been pissing me off too. Who would have known they would be such pests.”
All three of us shared a look. “Fucking cheers to that,” Jungkook said, and we moved on.
The next day I had gotten a single text from Hobi that sounded very similar to what he texted me last time he went after them. The plan was to surprise them during lunch, storm them quick and blindside them. Ideally it would be over before they ever realised something had hit them. And as someone who had seen Hobi in action before, I knew he was absolutely capable of that.
I was just smoking outside with Namjoon, who was making fun of me that I had gotten back into my habit the whole time he was attempting to light my cigarette, when I got another text.
Hope, 14:49: done
I smiled to myself and patted Joon’s shoulder. He gave me a confused look that melted into satisfied realisation when I winked happily.
Me, 14:51: are you absolutely sure? no more surprises?
Hope, 14:52: no more surprises. i’ll be over in twenty
I pocketed my phone again and stubbed out the cig, lightly slapped Joon’s shoulder again and moved to go back inside. The man followed after me without a word or a question, only gave me a celebratory smile when getting off the elevator a floor beneath my office.
I waited gingerly for the man’s arrival, drinks ready for us and words of gratitude on my tongue. Faithful to his word, he got there in twenty minutes on the dot, bursting into my door with a wide smile, no doubt also happy he managed to teach a lesson to some pesky kids messing about with things way beyond their capabilities.
I clasped a hand on his shoulder and smiled at him.
“Don’t worry, I left no loose ends this time,” was the first thing he said, “though I wish I had more time for clean up, but the cops were called. They’re most probably already there.”
“As long as there’s nothing linking us to them, it’s okay,” I reassured him and pulled us both to the sofa. He shook his head at that.
I trusted Hobi, I knew he was damn good at his job. He was always so excellent at making everything that was causing me headaches disappear, and I felt endless gratitude to the man. For a moment we both just sat there in comfortable silence and sipped our drinks.
I took another swig of whiskey and winced. “Jin would kill me if he saw me right now,” I muttered and Hobi laughed. “It’s for celebration, I’m sure he would understand,” the man joked, knowing full well how obsessed the doctor was with making us all live healthily, even when we all knew it was a losing battle. I snickered again and relaxed into the sofa.
“If the cops are there right now, that means they’ll probably show up here by the evening or early tomorrow,” I mused out loud, already too familiar with their strategies. Hobi agreed with me, but I could see that he was thinking about something else.
“What’s up?” I asked gently. Hobi looked at me and hesitated a little. “I might have to go to Japan for a little bit,” he said eventually. I looked at him in surprise.
“Japan? Why?”
The man reached into his back pocket and pulled out a piece of folded paper. One of the corners was painted with a splatter of blood and the paper was all tired and frayed from whatever it went through.
“He was really trying to make sure I wouldn’t read this, so I made extra sure to get it,” Hobi explained, looking at me observantly and carefully continuing, “And for good reason. I’m sure you yourself recognise this.” He handed me the paper and I slowly unfolded it to not do any more damage to it.
I did recognise it and immediately felt a rush of cold rage hit my bloodstream. Before me, there was a formal invitation to meet with the Watanabe family, one of the smaller suppliers from Japan. They weren’t the ones that we were doing the most business with, but we had a mutual trust to keep out of each other’s way, occasionally help each other out and otherwise not cross each other’s paths.
Whether they knew what these little fucks were planning or not, it seems that a connection between them was established. And as such, I couldn’t let it slide. Especially since the dead rat wanted to keep it secret so bad. There must have been something going on.
For the Watanabes it would be beneficial to try and get us out of the way, since we were blocking their way to most of Seoul, but I couldn’t believe they were this fucking stupid.
“That explains a lot,” I said, reverting back to my business self, “and here I was, thinking we were cordial with each other.” Hobi hummed. I looked at him and let him feel the full force of my anger with the behaviour of our supposed allies.
“Let them know just how disappointed I am with them for me, please,” I told him, voice full of ice. This wasn’t a playground, we weren’t kids messing about in the sandbox. We had to act quickly, before someone got the idea that they could cross our path.
The conversation was a little stunted after that, both of us thinking about the implications of an alliance between these two; so once Hobi finished his drink, he moved to leave, finally deciding it’s time to get back to his boys and make sure everything’s going off without a hitch now. He turned around, mouth opening to tell me one last thing, when he opened the door and promptly bumped into someone. I stood up from the chair, worried for a moment, only to grin wide when I realised who it was.
Hobi had managed to catch the nosy detective before she fell, and I had the best view in the house for when she looked up and realised who was it that she slammed into at my office. As every time, her face was an open book there for everyone to read and I saw it go from apologetic to absolute mortification to some sort of astounded glee. I watched her like a hawk while she stared at Hobi and the wheels in my brain were turning full speed. Huh, could it be?
Even when she snapped out of it and Hobi started to tease her, her eyes remained glued to the man with clarity and determination. If I was a jealous man, I may have even gotten a little angry at the display of open interest, I thought to myself jokingly while I watched them amused. So this was her goal, huh? She was after Hoseok. It did make sense, he would be someone the police found interesting, but he also had considerable experience at dodging them.
Once Hobi left and I could see her gearing up to bullshit me to the max, clearly totally out of her depth here, I decided to test my theory a little bit. But I would need help with that. I gave her a little bait and only waited for her to bite. She did. She didn’t even ask how I knew about what was happening in the docks, just started scrambling to explain herself somehow. I pulled out my phone again and texted the one man I knew could accomplish this.
Me, 16:29: how fast can you get here? need a distractor asap
TaeTae, 16:29: be there in 15 hyung <3
I chuckled a little at his fast reply, but quickly got up to move towards the bar. I had to distract her well and leave her distracted enough to slip a little bug on her. I weaved my web, pulled her in different directions, and I lied.
“We had nothing to do with it,” I said, though I had ordered the strike as retribution. But some things she wasn’t prepared to hear upfront, with some honesty I would have to wait until she was too deep to be appalled by the reality.
Taehyung burst into the room just as he always did, in the perfect way to steal all the attention. Her head snapped to the door with panic, and I seized my opportunity. I moved behind my table and fished around in the first drawer for the small device. I checked on Taehyung who was doing his best magician act, though by definition he would be more of my beautiful young assistant tasked with distracting the crowd while I faked the magic trick. It took only a second for my skilled fingers to slip the tracker beneath her phone case and by the moment she looked at me in horror at Taehyung’s behaviour, I was already sitting on the side of the guest chair satisfied with myself and watching the man work.
I couldn’t help the pleased hum when she grabbed her phone and flustered stumbled out of the door.
The moment the door closed behind her Tae looked at me curiously. “What was that about?” he asked full of mischievous keenness. I shrugged and smiled at him mysteriously. “Just trying to prove a theory of mine,” I uttered nonchalantly and thoroughly enjoyed the eager interest of the younger man.
“That was a tracker, wasn’t it?” he asked again, ever so observant. I gave him another grin. His curious eyes never missed anything, they always flitted around wherever he was, taking in people’s actions and expressions, that’s why he was my favourite spy. People didn’t take him much seriously, they didn’t see him as threat and he knew how to take advantage of it perfectly and bring every little dirty secret right to me.
“Hmmm, we’ll speed up the process a little bit and Kookie will hopefully relax now,” I told him. He hummed too and got up to get himself another drink.
“Guess we’ll see.”
Maybe we were having a little too much fun pretending like we didn’t know she was tailing us. How do you school your face while talking when you know that a cop is sitting 10 metres away from you? Though we did agree that we like the upgraded look with the motorcycle, so I guess that’s what she was up to the whole time we didn’t see her following us.
It would be a little better had Hoseok been in the country, but we had to entertain ourselves while he dealt with the traitors. I hadn’t heard from him really for around two or three days, which surprisingly was a good thing. It meant he was too busy solving problems to reply. In the end Jin decided to go with him and I had absolute confidence that they would deal with it no matter what that entailed.
I heard Jungkook lightly complain that she’d gotten craftier and how he often had to drive around to lose her to be able to go about his day peacefully. She did go after Namjoon for a little bit and then promptly gave up, which didn’t surprise me as he only spent time home or in the office, she did try to follow Jungkook, but he never gave her a chance. Tae and Jimin didn’t seem to be her targets in the slightest, much to Taehyung’s displeasure, who grumbled about how he’s also interesting. So she mostly stuck with me. But I was patiently waiting for Hobi to return and see.
The moment Hoseok and Jin stepped foot into the country, I warned him to not show up around for a while. He was very confused, but when I said it’s related to the police, he obliged happily, though we had to meet up to discuss his trip to Japan and its conclusion. One day when her little red dot didn’t move from the station, I called him over.
I had to go to the Magic Shop, which was one of the newer clubs Tae was trying to transform into a popular spot, and Jimin came over too. He was still trying to “sweeten my rage”, in his words, which I no longer felt but didn’t tell him. I’d never admit it, but I quite liked the way he was trying to be so damn cute and play up how much he loves me, though I was pretty sure he knew and that’s why he hasn’t stopped yet. I was just laughing at the two younger men’s antics when Jungkook’s car pulled over to the club and the two newcomers jumped out.
“Hyung!” Jimin shouted out, “You’re finally back!” Hobi laughed and threw himself at the blond, tackling him into an aggressive hug, both of them giggling. Tae couldn’t stay still and joined them, with me and Jungkook watching them fondly with smiles on our faces.
“Okay, okay!” I talked over the commotion and pulled them apart, “Unfortunately I have to steal him away for a bit, you can have him later.” The youngsters pouted at me, but it was all in jokes. But when I looked over at Hobi, he had a guilty expression on his face. I sighed a little and smiled at him.
“Sorry hyung, I actually have to go check on the warehouses in Songhyeon-dong, the boys have been asking for me,” he explained and gave an apologetic smile, “You can come too, though. If you have time.” I pursed my lips and thought about it, but I already knew I couldn’t make it.
“It’s across the whole city, unfortunately it’s not convenient for me today,” I told him. We needed to debrief properly; it would be best if Jin was present too, but the man was hard to come by during the weekdays due to his clinic. Every rich person in whole of Seoul wanted him to attend to them and he usually ran from patient to patient, while Hobi was the number one contact for those who worked in or around the warehouses and thus found himself driving around Seoul just solving shit that went wrong. If he couldn’t wait here to have a conversation, it must have been pretty serious there. He was looking at me stressed, most probably trying to think of a way to make it work for everyone, but I patted his shoulder and smiled reassuringly.
“It’s okay, Hobi,” I assured him, “I’ll visit you tomorrow or the day after. I’ll bring Jin too.” He returned my smile and moved back to Jungkook’s car.
“Wait, Hobi-hyung!” Jimin shouted out again, “I drove here with the silver Porsche, you can take it cause Tae’s gonna drive me back.” The blond-haired man fished around in the pockets for a moment and then threw something small and black towards Hoseok, who caught it without problem with a cheeky wink and a smile.
He was gone in a minute, and I soon followed with Jungkook. In the end Jimin took my car and I asked Kookie to drive me to the office, since he was going to stay there with me and Joon anyway. I kept thinking back to the Japan issue, wondering what the boys found out and what the Watanabes tried to claim. And whether we should prepare to burn some bridges.
The next day, though, started in a somewhat peculiar manner. When I came out in the morning and got into the car, Jungkook was sitting next to Soobin with a sombre expression. I immediately straightened and prepared to hear whatever it was that went wrong in those few short hours I was gone.
“I messed up hyung,” he said sheepishly and handed over his phone. The little tracking red dot wasn’t in its usual spot, by my house or by one of the clubs, not even by the office or the station. It was in Songhyeon-dong. Right across from our warehouses. I laughed and Jungkook looked at me nervously.
“Where’s Hoseok right now?” I asked immediately and the younger man snapped into attention.
“He’s in there right now, got in about 7 o’clock, was talking about some papers that have been waiting for him to approve,” Kookie answered, mind back on business and unpleasant feelings left behind to focus on this fully. I grinned at the man wildly. “Perfect.”
I swiftly pulled out my phone and started writing a simple and quick message.
Me, 8:15: stay in the warehouse, don’t walk out at all
Hope, 8:17: what do you mean hyung? are we in danger?
Me, 8:17: no, don’t worry. our little spy is on you and i’m trying to prove something
“Do you want to go to Dynamite today, or are we expected at the hotel?” Soobin’s voice pulled me away from my phone, back to a nervous Jungkook sitting next to the unsure bodyguard. “The hotel, thank you Soobin,” I answered politely with a mild smile and redirected my attention back to Jungkook.
“Don’t worry Kookie, I’m not mad,” I said with a smile, “This is actually exactly what I wanted, just hoped that I would have more time and control over when she found him. Guess she must have been on us yesterday.” The young man stiffened and looked back to his phone.
“Do you think she’s aware of the tracker? Left it at the station purposely to mess with us?” he asked all business-like, probably already trying to come up with a new plan. “It’s possible,” I hummed, “It’s time to find out.”
Silence took over the car as we made our way through the city. I smiled to myself. Even though it happened a little faster than I was planning, but I was glad she was still going in the direction I had predicted. I look away for a moment and you leave for one of my friends, huh? You definitely work fast.
I laughed again, earning a strange look from the two younger men, but only gave them a mysterious wink. We might be able to deal with this shortly, if everything goes well. The key was to find out what the goal was, then I could control what she found and make sure she’d stay away from what we needed to hide.
“Let’s give her a few days,” I told them and gave them another grin.
Me, 8:25: how would you feel about going to the warehouse every day and just staying there?
Hope, 8:26: ???
Four days later I sat into my car and instructed Soobin to drive to the warehouse with a shit-eating grin. Jungkook had been keeping me updated on her movements and she spent her days either at the station or staking out in the building across the premises.
Hobi, as promised, had been going to the warehouse and just sitting on his ass there, thoroughly complaining through his phone the whole time. I had been trying to calm him down and keep him there, while Joon and Kookie took it upon themselves to tease him all the time with pics and cheeky texts about eating in restaurants and hanging out in clubs together, so he was slowly losing his patience with my plan. I had to move forward quickly for the benefit of us all, even though I did find it awfully funny.
Reaching our destination, I took the time to walk around very self-assuredly for a moment knowing she was watching this angle. When I tired of putting on a show of how free and relaxed I was this day, I finally made my way inside. Through the door you entered straight to the short hall which led to our office, so it was a relatively short and quiet trip.
Hoseok and Jungkook were already sitting inside, Hobi behind the table and the maknae occupying an armchair sitting a little more towards a corner to the left of the door. With the sound of the door opening, their heads snapped towards me and as soon as they saw my smug smirk, Hoseok groaned loudly.
“God, please tell me this is over!” he whined and dramatically draped himself over the surface of the table, “I can’t take another day of this! I’m going to fucking lose my mind here!” Jungkook chuckled at him and retorted with a slight smirk: “You should have treated this as a holiday or something. Watched Netlix and all that stuff.” To that Hobi screamed out loud and grabbed something on his table to throw at the now laughing Kookie. “Yah! You think I have time to burn? I’ve got shit to do!”
I snickered at them and moved inside, Soobin following me in. I gestured at Jungkook. “Did you bring the cup as I asked?” The man nodded at me. I smiled, as relaxed as I haven’t been in a long time, and sat down on a chair by the table. Soobin remained standing by the door so I gestured at him to also sit somewhere, as this would take a while.
“So what’s next in your amazing and genius plan that involves the literal torture of your beloved dongsaeng?” He asked, suddenly pretending to be all business-like and serious, while Jungkook still occasionally giggled in his spot to our left.
“Now we talk for a bit, draw it out a little,” I said smirking meanly, “Then we send in Soobin and wait what he brings back.”
“It’s pretty cold outside, hope she’s dressed for the occasion,” Hobi noted cheekily and relaxed into his chair. I hummed and schooled my expression. I did have to bring up Japan, we haven’t had a chance to talk about it properly yet and I couldn’t visit him sooner cause we were planning what to do about our little spy.
“I don’t think she knows about the tracker,” Jungkook mused out loud, “she keeps bringing it. I don’t think it’s a statement like ‘look where I am’, it wouldn’t make sense to let us know.” Hobi nodded, humming in agreement, and they carried on for a moment, the conversation heading to the clubs as Hoseok asked about how it went while he was gone. I let them speak for a little while, just enjoying the company, until their chattering died off and they both looked at me questioningly.
“We have to talk about Japan,” I said simply, not feeling the need to beat around the bush. Hoseok immediately sobered up and straightened in his chair, while Jungkook looked on curiously, no doubt also dying to know the situation in which we found ourselves in.
“Well, they claimed innocence,” the dark-haired man said sombrely, “I’ve heard bullshit enough time in my life to smell it a mile away, but there wasn’t anything I could really pin on them. I checked the dates of their stay, and it was relatively recently, there wasn’t much correspondence between them, that I found. And we did thrash the dealers’ hiding spots. They must have gotten rid of it. But the head of the Watanabe family is such a slimy motherfucker that I don’t believe a word he said. They surely must have been planning something together.” He shrugged and sat back. “I’m afraid right now we can’t do much about it unless we want to seem like vicious usurpers.” Jungkook leaned forward and looked at us thoughtfully.
“Japan is outside of our turf, if we did something rash without substantial evidence, we could risk losing the support of the Satos,” he contemplated out loud, “God knows what’s going on between them right now.” I hummed and nodded, smiling at the man satisfied. He really did grow up, god. Time flies so fast.
“There seem to be two main issues right now,” I surmised solemnly, “First, the Watanabes are small and cowardly. The reason why they’re where they are is because they just suck up to others and hug their thighs to drain all the benefits from them. If they stirred up trouble with someone, they would no doubt end up eradicated before sundown.” The men looked at me with similar serious expressions. I took a moment to get myself a glass of water and continued talking standing up by the office desk.
“So, what gave them the confidence to get involved with an effort against us?” I mused thoughtfully, “There is a chance that they couldn’t have known that their new friends would immediately go and cross us and get themselves all killed, but I trust Hobi’s instinct. The fucking clown that leads the family now is a sleazy bastard, one with an ego that doesn’t match his wit nor his guts. He loves to gloat and provoke, but only when he knows someone stronger’s got his back.” Hobi nodded. He knew the man well since he had the displeasure of meeting him a few times when we were in Japan and had to attend a few of the same events as he did.
“If he knew he was at risk, he would have met me already grovelling,” Hoseok muttered with distaste, his immense disdain towards the man showing through, “that’s the kind of a pathetic vermin he is.” I agreed with him and carried on.
“So that means he probably feels comfortable timidly opposing us, cause there’s someone that’s got his back,” I concluded, “Someone who’s probably on our side of the puddle, someone who probably hooked him up with the rats we just got rid of. They probably weren’t expecting them to go against us immediately and die, but they don’t feel intimidated by the fact that we suspect something.”
The room sunk into silence as we all pondered about it. I could be looking too much into it, but in this world one never knew. You couldn’t survive here by assuming everyone’s best intentions. Quite the opposite. The little shits feeling confident enough to swindle us, them trying to desperately hide the invitation before they lose the chance to, the Watanabe’s approach to a meeting with Hobi. It wasn’t much to go off of, but it was suspicious enough to keep track of and keep in mind. If there potentially was a beginning of a plot against us, we had to stay alert and monitor the situation before it spun out of control.
“The confidence means their alliance is already pretty sure, then,” Jungkook broke the silence and took turns looking at us both. I gave him a single jerky nod in return. “Probably. Who knows.”
“What’s the second issue?” Hobi suddenly asked. Kookie looked at me questioningly and his face suddenly looked so much younger with his eyes wide, it almost shocked me speechless.
“The Japanese families,” I shook off my surprise and continued, “If we do decide to make take some precautions, we need to properly communicate so with the Satos and get their support. They need to be in full agreement with whatever we choose to do with the Watanabe clan.” Hobi scoffed and turned to me.
“That shouldn’t be too hard. They’re not that influential and going against us means they’re going against the Satos too.”
“Still,” I repeated, “We need to test their alliance to us too.” A realisation hit Jungkook’s face and he nodded enthusiastically. That made me laugh a little at his earnestness. Hobi also smiled, but it was still strained.
“Let’s bide our time for now,” my voice carried through the office resolutely, “Lay low, pretend we’re over this issue and gather our wits. And prepare for potentially dealing with this.”
We nodded at each other. Even if years have passed since our youth and the fire and passion and determination that comes with it, we were still prepared to fight for what was rightfully ours. We climbed our way here through hell and there’s no way we’d let some snotty little brats try to take everything away from us.
“I’ll keep my eyes and ears out,” Kookie stated, phone in hand ready, “They’re bound to come across something juicy.” Hobi murmured his approval and turned his attention back to me.
“Today we should deal with the other issue at hand, or I am actually going to go insane between these four walls,” he complained whinily and I laughed at him. I moved towards the little kitchenette in the right corner from the door and started preparing some coffee. I made a cup for all present and then one extra into the cup Kookie brought with him, which I promptly handed to Soobin.
“My boys scoped it out and she seems to have her hideout on the sixth floor to the left of the staircase,” Hobi instructed the young man, who patiently waited on me to send him off.
“Tell her something that will piss her off,” I said only, grinning wildly. The blond man smirked at me and disappeared out of the room swiftly and silently.
“Now we wait,” I told the room, sitting gingerly back into the chair with my fresh cup of coffee, playing with the spoon like a spoiled little kid waiting for his birthday present. We all stayed silent, too much on our minds to keep mindless convo. Kookie was typing furiously on his phone, a slight scowl sometimes tugging at his features, while Hobi relaxed into the chair and serenely looked off into the distance. I tried to keep the self-satisfied smirk on my face while my mind slipped to more serious issues.
I couldn’t help but be worried about the current situation. Their potential ties to a stronger gang, or maybe even a family, would explain the surprising difficulty with which they went down. I knew I stepped on many toes when I stole half the fucking Seoul right from under their noses, and even more when I proved impossible to dethrone. It didn’t surprise me at all to uncover a supposed scheme like this. Truly, this didn’t even have to necessarily be aimed against me and my gang, but the boys fucked up by involving us in their business. But no matter what, we would emerge victorious from this, that I had no doubt about. Once someone crossed a line, we would make an example of them and teach a lesson to whoever it was that wanted to mess with us.
Over the years in this “business”, I had learnt a lot. One of the things was: what couldn’t be solved with threats, would be solved with blood. And it never failed me before. I looked at Hobi and Kookie again and smiled. We had each other’s backs and I trusted their abilities more than I trusted myself. The truth was that we were more a family than many around us that were actually blood related. That was the second reason of our success.
Soobin returned within 15 minutes, of which he probably spent most time going up and down the stairs. He walked back into the office slightly breathless and a little red, so I gestured for the single cup of coffee left on the mini kitchen counter. He walked over and took a tentative sip, probably finding it the perfect temperature since it’s been waiting for him here and slowly cooling down.
We all found ourselves hanging onto him with our eyes, some excitement coursing through the room at what he was about to divulge to us. Kookie broke first.
“How did she react to you?” he asked eagerly, waiting to confirm his theory about the tracker.
“She was shocked and surprised, and frankly pissed off,” Soobin answered immediately, his deep voice having a calming effect on us, “She didn’t seem to understand how you were able to find her.”
Jungkook exclaimed happily. “Perfect, that means she doesn’t know about the tracker,” he said satisfied. I was about to destroy his whole joy though, so I let him bask in it a little before speaking.
“We’re gonna mess with her a little, make it obvious,” I told the room and Kookie immediately groaned. “Hyung, having her tracked without her knowledge is the safest way to let her be but still have control over the situation. Why would you want to give that up?” I winked at him and pursed my lips teasingly.
“To provoke her. Rile her up, frustrate her, push her to her limits,” I explained, eyes flitting between the three men, “She’ll reveal herself then.” Kookie hummed in understanding, but Hobi squinted his eyes at me somewhat suspicious. I quickly averted his eyes and focused back onto Soobin.
“What else did she say?” I asked him. The man immediately snapped to attention at me addressing him and answered. “That you’re annoying and she hates you.” His voice was neutral, but I could detect some undertones of amusement. I agreed it must have been an amusing sight.
I laughed lightly and finished my coffee in one gulp. The game was on.
Now that Hoseok was free of his prison, he went back to flitting between the docks and ships like a mother bird trying to take care of all of her young. Jin was similarly busy by his practice, so he also missed out on all of the fun. Namjoon kept saying he was above messing with the police, even though I caught him sneaking smirks and grins every now and then, and Kookie was just as disapproving as ever of my tactics. Jimin tried to stay neutral as he hadn’t met her yet, but thoroughly enjoyed our shenanigans.
That left me and Tae on the shit-stirrer team, and we did milk it for as long as we could. Just the ultimate annoyances, hoping to send her into a complete rage over this. She still had the tracker regularly on her, so we were forced to assume she was none the wiser, but the longer it dragged on the more suspicious I was becoming.
Once she started showing up to the office regularly, cheshire grin firmly plastered on her face, tracker still firmly attached to her, I pretty much guessed she must have known. Suddenly I was spending my afternoons making her tea and watching her leisurely stroll about my office, studying every inch of it and grinning from ear to ear. I waited patiently for her next move, and admittedly, I found myself quite excited with this game we were playing with each other. She was a fast learner and had a quick wit, and I did appreciate her readiness to throw all laws aside to try to stick it to a guy that mildly annoyed her once. The anticipation was steadily rising the longer we just danced around and pretended we both knew nothing.
I did start to slip. I watched her move about less, focused more on work. I would always suddenly shake myself out of the work-induced haze to find her still sitting at the sofa curiously eying everything in the office like a little kid first time in an amusement park. But while we were in this strange stale-mate, I didn’t dare refuse her visits. I was truly curious, dying to know her next move, especially since she suddenly became such a showman.
I didn’t immediately realise what was happening when she suddenly stopped showing up. One day she was sitting there, smirking up a storm, and the next there was no trace of her. I found myself walking around my office, inspecting the objects at display and the decorations, trying to catch anything different. I even allowed Jungkook to thoroughly comb through the room to make sure there weren’t any planted bugs or things in the same vein, but the space was clean.
We kept checking on the tracker app, but it became quite obvious immediately she had gotten rid of it, as it was moving in areas that she never went to. So she did know. And she did do something.
It wasn’t until two days later, when Jungkook stormed my house and decided to comb through my clothes with a device detector; and found a corner of my coat beeping curiously. I had to stop him from tearing into it in his haste to find out what she planted on me, and instead took it upon myself to inspect the piece of clothing. I managed to find a small tear and smirked at her craftsmanship. I fished the little gadget out and handed it over to the younger man.
Jin and Hobi were sitting on the couch watching this whole ordeal go down with curious, slightly amused and mildly alarmed faces, but I wasn’t too worried about it. Jungkook was grumbling something next to me, but I paid him no mind. My fingers felt something else slipped into the coat and I was trying to get a hold of it. By its thinness and elusiveness, it must have been a piece of paper.
“It’s a tracker, similar to what we planted on her,” I heard him explaining it to the other men present, but suddenly exclaimed in victory, startling the three men, as I finally managed to pull the mysterious note out. I took a single look at it and burst out laughing.
They snapped their eyes to me and Jungkook immediately rushed to my side as if prepared to defend my life against a piece of paper. I lifted my gaze to look at their confused faces and flipped the paper around for them to see.
fuck you min yoongi :p
Only Hobi seemed to be as amused by it as I was, Jungkook deliberating something silently and Jin watching us all like a hawk, his sharp eyes taking in the interaction with burning interest.
Once I had calmed down and sent Kookie off to the office to get Joon and figure out what to do about the little device, I found myself sitting between the two other oldest of the group, amusement slowly slipping into nervosity. I knew them well enough, I could see the cogs turning in their heads, I could feel they were on the doorstep of a discovery, and I wouldn’t like the conversation that would follow, but I truly didn’t expect Jin to just jump into it head first.
I had leaned towards the table to grab one of the snacks Jin had graciously prepared for us, when he cleared his throat.
“Kookie had been talking to me a lot about how this whole situation is unfolding. Hobi too,” Jin said, seemingly just holding mindless conversation, but I still tensed up. I turned to look at him.
“Yeah?” I turned to the other side to look at Hobi, who avoided my eyes.
“Yeah,” Jin reiterated, his voice gravelly, “So can you fucking explain to me why have you been testing this cop like you did the boys before they joined?”
