#i won't miss you

I've decided to get rid of my already pretty much dead Instagram account. I initially left it cause:

-I had a gradual decrease of interactions within it, as in the more I became objectively better with my art the less people were interested in me (it explains a lot how Instagram people are) with people also guilt tripping me into not abandoning em when they were the first people pretending I didn't exist

-most friends either did the same or decided to move to other platforms

-I got hacked once not even too much ago trying to leave the profile alone, and if it wasn't for a stranger on TUMBLR telling me that my insta was suddenly posting bitcoin shit I would've never noticed

- even when I thought about going back to it, anxiety started to crawl inside me. Cause for the time I was out of that app I felt good. I reject it and keep rejecting its overwhelming and depressing aura.

And now the whole meta ai thing. My last mutual and actual friend on there decided to remove all her posts and re-upload with a filter or something, but I said nah man I can't repost more than 160 posts that are also old art (1 month is already too old according to my art teachers).

I could just leave them there feeding AI my old disgustingly edgy art that was still making more than 200 likes even if my current stuff is much better, but I decided to just get rid of it. Even my old stuff isn't worth to get stolen by a Corp for a job that machine should never try to do.

So yeah idc, I have this profile, I have Pixiv, I may even consider Cara. I just want a safe space where I can be both respected as an artist (even if not a complete professional) and not have constant fear of getting attacked or stolen by corps for their weird stuff. It's time to start over again, it sucks but that's how it works I guess...
